those marriages have not always been successful

but now, after heartbreak and tragic endings, he is at a point in his life where he wants to put an effort into his future as he know he won't live forever but he will at least be around for a little while longer.

I think the marriage would be most successful if you also worked at NCIS, as then you would not only understand the hours that he works but also match them somewhat

It would allow him and you to bond over things inside the workspalce as well as out,

and if you were on the MCRT alongside him, you two would be incredibly in sync

Tony would often make fun of it but would be stopped by wither Ziva or Gibbs himself.

He would always bring you a coffee when he got himself one.

but that would not stop him from moaning about how much sugar and milk you pile into it

Tony once switched your coffee for his, Jethro had never given the silent treatment like it.

Speaking of treatment... jethro surely knows how to look after you, both in work and out ;););) if you get what I mean.

Over all though, a marriage to Gibbs is a trying one, with moments harder than you could ever imagine. But it is also one of the ost regarding marriages you could ever hope for.

There is just something about two straight men who are single and alone and have had multiple failed relationships being friends with eachother and sticking together despite every ups and downs life throws at them and willing to do anything for eachother and act like a couple, bicker and fight like a couple and do everything couples would do and cannot live without the other, but love one another in the most platonic way possible just hits so different.

I love the bromance between these men with all my heart. They are just too pure for words and there is just a special kind of magic between them and this trope in general.

Starting NCIS Origins fully expecting to crush a little on young Gibbs, but 3 episodes in and apparently I'm hot for young Mike Fanks??!!? What is happening???

The most shocking episode for me as an NCIS fan has to be the NCIS Season 2 episode, "Twilight" where after all the gunfights, it looks like the team is going to be fine.

And that everyone's survived.

But no.

Instead, seconds after they've taken out the last terrorist, Kate is murdered in full view of Gibbs and Tony and her killer is none other than Ari Haswari, the terrorist who's been a thorn in NCIS's side for NCIS Seasons 1 and 2.

What makes this so shocking is the fact it was completely unexpected.

We all thought everything was OK and that the team- Gibbs, Tony, Kate and McGee had survived to fight another day but for Kate to die in such circumstances made it all the upsetting and heartbreaking.

To this day, Twilight remains one of the most intense episodes because of its surprise or twist ending.

Fact: the episode was written by John C. Kelley who later went on to write episodes for the medical series, "House" starring English actor Hugh Laurie.

NCIS Season 21 Finale (Spoilers alert)

First of all, allow me to say how amazing that episode was. The intensity, the anxiety and fear it gave me, the scenes with Parker and Knight! Gary Cole and Katrina Law deserve to be praised for their performance. In my opinion, it was a really great season finale and I loved it.

To be completely honest, I'll definitely rewatch this season during the summer because no episode missed. It was short but every ep were great in their own way. So kudos to them!

Now, onto what I wanted to talk about. Who's Lily? As an Alden Parker lover, I thought about it and here's my theory: Alden is lying about not knowing who Lily is. Imo, she was his sister - it seemed like they didn't have much age difference, so maybe a twin? - and clearly something happened to her, which deeply traumatized Alden. Now, when Jess asked him about his mother, it seemed like there was something deep there. So, what I'm thinking is that Lily died in an accident, probably on a ship. Maybe she fell over board in the flashback we saw? And Alden's mother probably held him responsible, which got them to have a complicated relationship.

I may be completely wrong, but this is my theory for now. What do you think?

I also have to talk about Jimmy and Jessica. Our sweet Jimmy was indeed a bit unfair to Jessica, but I kinda understand him. He's been through so much, lost so many people in a very short time, and ever since he learned about Jess's plan, he's probably feeling like she can leave any day. And he's done with losing people he loves.

However, I don't think Jess would've said yes to Vance if they didn't have that 'fight' beforehand. Now, I really don't think Katrina is leaving the show, so something will happen in the season 22 premiere, and she will change her mind. Maybe it's wishful thinking but there is where I stand for now.

So yeah, I had to talk about this season finale. Seeing my man in pain hurt me, thank god they saved him. They are family.

So you mean to tell me that in an episode titled "Licence to Thrill", where the team has a cool extreme-sport heist to investigate and where the main focus so far is on the criminals being real adrenaline junkies and going off on that road in order to find them, and Lucy "thrills / adrenaline junkie" Tara is nowhere in sight? Nor is she even briefly mentioned, not even when her own far-less-adrenaline-prone girlfriend is talking about cool heavy adrenaline inducing activities that she's done? Like, be so for real rn

This season of NCIS is wild. The tone feels distinct from earlier seasons? Like the episodes are super dramatic and over-the-top and absurd, and generally funny. The characters still feel like themselves, and it's the situations they're being thrust into that are different. There's not a murder every episode, and solving the murder mystery is far less of the focus. I'm really enjoying it, I think it's been super fun, but it definitely feels different, like someone decided to shake things up.

I'm feeling kinda sappy.

Could I ask for a story where Gibbs gets married to the reader and she moves into his house. Gibbs is away on a case and maybe she starts going through boxes in the basement and digs up pictures of his mom, dad, Kelly and Shannon. She hangs up a bunch of their pictures on a wall. Gibbs comes home sees it. He stares at it and is very quiet. The reader is nervous but then Gibbs tells her it's perfect and no one he's ever been married to wanted to honor them like this.

(Y/N) knew she shouldn't have been snooping around, it could break the trust that she worked so hard to earn, but she couldn't resist. Jethro had recently asked her to move in with him, a big step considering the nature of their relationship. They had to work together and trust that their lives would be safe in the other's hands, but living together meant not only trusting your life with someone, but opening it up to them too.

She knew that Jethro had a past filled with too much sorrow for one man to carry alone. He had tried to bury it in failed marriage after failed marriage, eventually resigning himself to the bachelor lifestyle. He had tried to continue his ways when he met her, but she was something new, something unexpected.

Vance had given (Y/N) the day off to move her stuff in and get settled fully. She had spent countless nights and weeks here with her lover but had never really left anything here except a toothbrush and a spare set of clothes. She never really needed anything more. It was easy enough to part ways with most of her belongings, sofas and dinings chairs never meant all to much anyways. Managing to fit most of her stuff her a pick-up truck, she had set off to her new home.

It was only when she opened the old hallway cupboard to store her now empty suitcases did she find the box. It wasn't labeled, but the creases and fingermarks on the cardboard showed that it had been opened and shut rigorously over the years. The rest of Jethro house was meticulously organised, there wasn't anything that didnt have its own place. Nothing was stored where it wasn't meant to. Especially old boxes.

Slowly, she opened the box and peered inside, being greeted by several picture frames. Most of them were empty, or cracked. There was no reason to keep any of them. Still she flicked through the frames. Lifting the last, she made eye contact with a young redhead holding a small infant. Even though (Y/N) didn't recognise the faces, she knew who they belonged to; Shannon and Kelly.

Quickly, she put the box back, but left the final frame out. She placed it on the sofa before trekking down to the basement, her mind focussed on one thing only.

Jethro got home hours after the sunset.

The house was quiet and still, he had expected as much. After toeing off his shoes, made his was through the house, intending to set the coffee maker ready for the morning. One less thing to think about in the far too early hours of the day. He stopped before he made it to the kitchen.

Jethro wasn't a man that hesitated, but the sight of his smiling wife and daughter handing on the wall made him freeze. Her bright eyes and red hair was the last thing he had expected to see, but after the day he had, he couldn't be more thankful.

He took a moment, turning to his left to find (Y/N) laying on the couch, nails and hammer strewn messily on the coffee table. Her engagement ring shone in the moonlight. Gently, he shook her shoulder to wake her.

(Y/N) hummed tiredly. "You're home?"

"Thank you." Jethro said, ignoring her question.

She shot up at the memory of what she had done. Making eye contact with him, then the photograph. "You don't mind. I didn't overstep, did I?"

"Not at all." Jethro sat next to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder to pull her onto his chest. "Not at all."

I miss them so much😭😭 I miss Tony too :( but I really like Nick, Tim, and Jimmys characters so I’m glad they kept them and added Nick :] wish we could get an episode where Tony meets Nick tho😭

But I’m watching Ncis origins and so far it’s pretty good :D

I absolutely loved the origins premiere and seeing MH after almost 3 yrs and even if it was only for a few minutes, it felt so good. His narration, those dialogues, young Gibbs, young Mike... Everything was just pure perfection 🥹
