Ode to Her, who intermingles and entangles the fragile webs (of our lives that) we weave.
Ode to Her, who leisures around with the fabrics (of realities), knitting them up together into a bewitching rag or even a hideous robe.
Ode to Her, who along with Lady Luck composes symphonies and dissonance.
Ode to Her, who creates the Illusio of choice and free will.
Ode to Her, who makes YOU believe to be the creator, when all you are is a mere follower…

Time had flown like violent waves coursing through a stormy ocean. It felt as if eons had passed by, leaving a barren field behind, which once bloomed with the blossoms of Happenstance.
Happenstance? That’s right, that’s how you’d met him all those years ago, three to be exact.
If you take a tour down memory lane, it will all flash right in front of your eyes as if you were watching a high definition movie…
🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬
You’d moved to Linkon City with hopes of something long forgotten but mainly for, continuing your passion for writing. When you were younger, you too wanted to pursue a career path in becoming a Deepspace Hunter, having a really strong affinity towards the profession. But upon growing up further, your past dream had slowly shrouded within the neural networks of your brain.
Life in Linkon was moderately hard, with the occasional Wanderer outbreaks and Hunters reaching the designated area on time for action, saving civilians. You admired them, you admired them from the depth of your Heart…you wanted to write about them, but you barely found the words to do so.
It left you frustrated and up late every night…only for the next day to continue as a torturous loop of boredom. Not even three months in the City, you were already bored…
You wanted a wish…a wish to be granted…a wish to cure your boredom…and you wanted write all over again…
You wished for it.
Three weeks into the beginning of your third month in the City, you meet someone, you never knew would play such a significant role in your life.
You met her…
MC was her name. She was a new Hunter at the Hunters’ Association but ever so skilled and compatible. A strong, independent woman; someone you soon grew close with.
It was a coincidental occurrence.
You were at Destiny Cafe, a favourite place of yours added to your recency list, when Fate did Her magic.
She was sat at the table alongside Tara,
(who was a ray of sunshine, a pure soul, her colleague and friend, one she’d made at the Association.)
As time flew, hangouts and sleepovers became more common, mostly happening at hers, Tara would often join the two of you, but if she didn’t it was the both of you…
The two of you could spend hours talking and talking, as you’d ask her about her day and missions, taking inspirations for your work, while she’d about the stuff you wrote.
“Ode to Her, who intermingles and entangles the fragile webs (of our lives that) we weave.”—your first wish was granted.
….
Two weeks into the middle of your fourth month in the City,
Perchance You were out with MC and Tara at the Kitty Cafe, playing several rounds of the Advanced Mode of Kitty Cards—
Perchance one evening to Azure Square at that one bakery that MC had told you about, to feed your craving for Macarons—
Perchance on the way to MC’s apartment when you almost run into her upstairs neighbour—
Perchance at a local Casino to feed your thirst for a game of Blackjack—
Perchance out an art store, where hung a pretty wooden board containing the symbolisms for each colour—
When you’d first met him.
There was no verbal exchange, just the meeting of gazes for the very first time.
Later that night, your heart had already started skipping beats from the encounter, your mind started creating scenarios of your second meet, if there was any to come. You hoped for it…
You wished for it.
You wrote about it. Told MC a few days after…Her face lit up, she knew him. Oh?
He was an old friend?
her primary care physician?
a colleague at work?
someone she works as a bodyguard for?
a fruit vendor?
She asked if you wanted to formally meet him. You nodded.
So you did.
at her apartment, when she’d called you over two evenings later.
at Akso Hospital when he was on his lunch break, she’d taken you to.
at the beach, she called him over.
at the Karaoke place, she told he’d like.
It was awkward as heck, what would you have said? That ‘Hello I am the girl you made eye contact with days ago.’, you were nervous.
Maybe he sensed that, he spoke first, he remembered you. You smiled.
The weeks passed, growing with them the bonds of the new friendship that you had been gifted with. The two of you would often meet up almost everyday if time permitted…but you would…
Sometimes with MC, sometimes without her.
You cherished your times spent with him, they made you feel special…a little bit too special, that your heart would strum along the strings a melody, you were oh-so utterly familiar with…but you didn’t want to hurry…
As the saying goes, “Slow and Steady, wins the race.”
Each night you’d return home, stare up at the ceiling giggling like a teenage girl with a crush.
A Crush…!
Plus you’d blame him for making you fall…
How dare he remember your favourite flower,
your favourite colour,
your favourite song,
your favourite food,
the things that make you smile or ick…
He knew the ways of your little world better than your own comprehension.
All so crystal clear, within just a matter of months…
You were bound to fall…and you did…
You fell hard…
“Ode to Her, who leisures around with the fabrics (of realities), knitting them up together into a bewitching rag or even a hideous robe.
Ode to Her, who along with Lady Luck composes symphonies and dissonance.”—your second wish was granted.
….
A year and a half had passed since you met him…and you were down bad for him…
In Every star cluster in the night sky,
Every flower blooming and blossoming in a garden making it rich,
Every flake of the gentle snow which landed upon your nose,
Every ray of the Sun that caused the ripples of the Sea to glimmer,
Every winning gamble-
-you saw him.
You envisioned him, by your side…hand in hand for as long as Space-Time marks it’s existence.
You wanted him to be happy…
You wished for it…
Your pages were diluted in his essence, as if every word you wrote was written for him…
Did he even had the hint of what went on within yourself?
Perhaps.
Did you want him to know?
Perhaps.
Would you ever tell him about it?
Perhaps.
But did the two of you hush out your deepest secrets with each other over call in the silence of the nights?
Absolutely.
“Perhaps…”
It was a word that shrouded it’s true pose from you for a long time.
A word that created the illusion of bliss over your story like a veil.
It was not sooner or later when you had finally been able to snip your way out of the veil…witnessing the harsh truths of reality…
You started noticing him and MC together more over the weeks, observing their conversing patterns… You had asked him, countless of times, if he was sick…if he was alright…if he was okay…but to no use, he would always divert the conversation, so you eventually stopped.
You knew about his past, he had told you…hence,
You would see saw how his eyes would illuminate as if they held constellations behind.
You would see saw the colours and hues that would splatter over the canvas of his face.
You would see saw the easiness in his body language whenever she was near.
As if it was all meant to be…
Each day became a new lesson upon the ways of the unfair world, each night a review of the same.
Confrontation is never an option when it’s the people you consider home.
And what would you confront about?
When you could see the Alchemy of their amalgamations transcend to the cosmic levels, it was as if the Universe had made them a pair, a bond. Eternally bound to each other.
If the word ‘Soulmates’ held ground, they would be the Altar which it stood upon.
Such was the strength of their unity…
It hurt, hurt like anything to accept this epiphany that you had come across…but did you have a choice?
How could you ever compete with what the Cosmos had set in stone…
So what did you do? You wrote about it…you wrote and wrote like there was no tomorrow, every night, all night…at least it took off a minute-fraction of the load that your heart had to carry…
Of course you didn’t stop talking to either of them or cancel meet-ups…well not with her…
With him however, you started growing a bit distant, often cancelling your usual meetings…you needed the space to get a grip on yourself…
You always covered it up over text, just like you masked off every single emotion from your external appearance…
It was on you, upon you, your fault for you had termed your third wish in the wrong way…you should’ve been selfish, not caring for his happiness…but what’s done is done…
His happiness was your happiness…
Her happiness was your happiness…
Even so this happiness was a curse,
You were happy.
The funny thing was that, the more heartbroken you got each night, the more creativity painted herself with words onto the canvas of your notepad…
So you brain came upon a gentleman’s agreement with your broken heart, a business deal if you may describe it as…your broken heart would provide the flow of emotions to the brain which in turn oozed out your creativity; while your heart would feel the weightage of the load lessen even if it meant by fractional amounts…
And what did you do? You let yourself bask in the Status Quo.
“Ode to Her, who creates the Illusio of choice and free will.
Ode to Her, who makes YOU believe to be the creator, when all you are is a mere follower…”—your third wish was granted.

Oh he cannot form sentences about the way his heart soared with elation when he met her again, in this lifetime,
for the first time…
His heart thumped loudly within his chambers, as if it were banging against a locked door, pleading to be let out, set free…If he’d ever known Love, then it was because of her existence that he understood the concept of Love.
She was the Destiny to which he elected to be Eternally bound. The connection they shared was beyond the mortal realm, transcending to the reaches even beyond metaphysics. It was Cosmic, he knew it, he felt it. It was the Universal Truth.
Hence why he felt desolate from within when she didn’t recall the past…the “Them”, that he carried on evermore in every one of his lives. He will continue to do so for eons to come.
Whatever she needed—time, familiarity, he was ready to give it to her. After all he was hers and she was his, they were an amalgamation…
Besides what Love wasn’t obsessive, sacrificial, a misconstrued treachery, or chastised.
So he waited, like he always had…
….
His days had grown monotonous without her memory.
‘When will she remember?’, was the fundamental thought that occupied his state of peace…
A change of scenery was much needed from this cyclic motion of work-life.
So he went, out for a stroll one fine evening.
Maybe he found out from his ‘trusted sources’ who sent notifications every second from her phone to his, that MC was at the Kitty Cafe along with some friends, playing several rounds of the Advanced Mode of Kitty Cards. Plus he needed to make sure she was with good company, after all he was only looking out for her—
Maybe he took a turn towards that one bakery the both had often ventured to satisfy their cravings for sugar—
Maybe he wasn’t a fan of his pre-planned stroll and instead made his way towards MC’s apartment when someone almost bumped into him. Letting out a flurry of sorries—
Maybe at a local Casino—
Maybe passing by an art store, where hung a pretty wooden board containing the symbolisms for each colour. He stopped by to judge them of their mistakes—
When his eyes met new ones, he’s never seen you before.
Maybe you were a new friend of hers, maybe even a stranger? Or an acquaintance? Whoever you are, it was of no concern to him…
….
A phone call was unexpected the very next evening, but not unwelcome. Infact he strived to hear her voice in some way or form, every single day of his being. She wishes to officially introduce him to her new companion? Oh?
Again unexpected. But if that’s what her wish was then it’d be his command. Although he was a bit hesitant upon meeting this mysterious person…majorly because he heard her go on for hours about how the two of them had gotten closer in just a matter of months.
She was sly, never mentioning the gender of this new ‘companion’ of hers. Maybe she enjoyed keeping him shrouded in half-truths.
What was his response? Yes of course. As if he could ever say No to her.
She’d assigned him a place for the meet-up along with the date and time, told him not to be late.
It was another dusk hour on a Sunday,
at her apartment,
at their assigned bakery they often go to, for replenishing their sweet teeth, well mostly his,
at the beach,
at the Karaoke place,
…You again?
Well at least it wasn’t a guy
You seemed awkward of the situation at hand, he could sense your nervousness scattered all over your features, profoundly. He wasn’t any big of a fan of first-impressions, but maybe a part of him wanted you to ease up…so he spoke up first, he remembered you.
He could see you heave a big sigh of relief internally at his words of consolation. You smiled…
The prescribed time soon had passed, enveloped within getting to know each other, while MC would often chime in to restore/uphold the fluency. He got to know considerable amounts of informations about you. You? A few adding onto the context of what you had already gathered from MC…
It was pleasant.
Days to weeks, weeks to months,
When had the Rendezvous metamorphosed into simple Hangouts, he couldn’t recall…
It started with the three of them when the familiarity was still in it’s budding stage…then slowly over time, the need for a watched maintenance of your fluency became discretionary,
for there bloomed beautifully the bonds of this new friendship, which got nurtured through your affection and dedication each day…making it grow stronger…
Hangouts became often (sometimes she would be there…sometimes not), almost everyday if permitted by time. If not? You’d substitute through calls and texts..
….
Time felt as if moving in a slow pace after ages of being driven with constraints and limits…here was none…
Things felt natural…innate with you, like the gentle breeze on a calm spring night, or the heavy shower accompanying a stormy day…
Like every phenomena in nature, often overlooked but are daily and recurring…
He couldn’t quite put his finger around it…yet…
He forgot to keep track of the exact moment when he
Started paying attention to the posters you hung above your bed—
Or the way you would try to stand your pen upright on your desk when your mind would wander off while writing—
Or the way you would duplicate multiple tabs on YouTube, each one filled with a specific song or mixed genres, while you would try resonating with it, to incorporate the same into paper—
Or the collection of hair ties that you possessed—
Maybe even the pre-existing tiny dent on the wall above your kitchen counter, which you said you would cover up with something but keep forgetting—
Maybe it was the way you’d smile everytime he was within your proximity—
Or the virtual hug you’d send him through your collection of cute bunny, crow, apple, snowman, artsy birb, stickers, every time before he went to bed—
Maybe it was the way your eyes would stare into his whenever he was over at you place and you were thinking of how to go forth with your words on paper—
Or everytime the two of you would be out, and you would feel like a breath of fresh air—
Soon he found himself accustomed to the ways of your world,
What made you ick or inspired,
Your favorites:
The certain colour of paint , or mixture gradients he’d use on his canvas that made you filled with joy, so he’d restructure his paintings like such—
The symbolism that each of the Cards and their Suits held within the deck of 52, making you speak on and on about them for hours, over text or via voice message at 3a.m—
Late night outings to go stargazing at the park, sitting on the plain grass, while you ask him about the different constellation…maybe just maybe while doing so, your head slowly tilts down to lay comfortably upon his shoulder—
How it became a regularity for you to visit the hospital every late night he got off of work, with a 6packed box of strawberry flavoured macarons…well two for each night on a row for three days, following the similar pattern for two weeks. Then came a gap for the next two weeks, as the cycle continues…but maybe what he wants to say was that, you’d be the Constant, coming over every night—
Every movie marathon you’ve been having, while he would cook for you. Not to mention how you’d constantly refer to him as ‘Maverick’ and hum along the theme song every time you watched Top Gun…Apparently it was your favourite thing to do, along with constantly complimenting his cooking in Shakespearean English and fumbling often—
Alongside the feeling of a calm warmth flowing through his body…a something else—resembling to fear??? Was slowly nibbling it’s way through his heart.
….
Uh oh…
A year and a half had passed already since he met you? And you had already confide countless of your deepest secrets to him…How could you trust him so much? Why did you trust him so much? Should he do the same…tell you about all his past lives, that haunt every hour of his existence?
Oh no…
The epiphany struck him like a truck when
In
Every star cluster in the night sky,
Every flower blooming and blossoming in a garden making it rich,
Every flake of the gentle snow which landed upon your nose,
Every ray of the Sun that caused the ripples of the Sea to glimmer,
Every winning gamble-
-he saw you.
Oh…
He had ever so slowly, fallen for you…
Now this filled him with panic,
He was panicking like a madman, like he had never before…
He didn’t know what to do, or how it was even possible for him to fall for someone else when the Love of all his Lives was MC…He needed to talk it out with MC…come up with a solution, something, anything…
All his thoughts and feelings were clogged and cluttered over his brain.
All this time he’d been beating around the bush, trying to press it down into the depths of chambers to be never found again…but somehow the feeling re-emerged, digging through every ground that he wanted to bury it beneath…
He felt like a nomad, like he knew nothing about the ways of the World…like a newborn…
Plus how would he even bring this up to MC, what if she gets heartbroken, or worse…
He couldn’t afford that…
But neither could he mute the sound of his thumping heart for you…
You…
Why did he have to fall for You? Who were you? A no-one till one and a half years ago.
He wouldn’t even have known about your existence if he didn’t meet you by Happenstance that faith-forgotten evening…
He could barely concentrate on work…Everything around him felt like a spiralling vortex and he was trapped inside…
Being the man he is, he somehow let his discomforts escape your radar eventually, after you had asked him over text, call, in-person countless number times, if he was alright…if he was sick…if he was okay…
MC eventually takes notice of this and confronts him…she had never seen him this distressed, calling him over at Destiny Cafe to talk.
Not sure how to go forth with the conversation, he hesitates…
He felt like he was stuck within a soft-lock of the game, his life had reduced to temporarily…
He had two choices,
“Either to abandon his future and stick to what Fate had woven for him eternally.”
“Or venture into the unknown and embrace the beauty of no obligations.”
She initiates.
He eases up…
Finally opening up…
Going on for weeks, he too gets to learn that she was plunged into a similar situation. There’s someone great that she met months ago during a mission, someone she saved…she’s been meaning to tell him but she didn’t know how…
‘They were on the same boat.’
Discussing upon ways how to break something that’s eternal…
Would it cause an anomaly?
Maybe a rift in Space-Time?
Or a breakage in the Universe?
What if the Cosmos punishes them, or worse the person they’ve been doing all this tallying and calculations for…
The risk was high but worth taking…
If it meant they could finally be free from this blessing-turned-curse.
Now came the part where he has to finally admit his feelings for you…
‘This scared him shitless’,
Being tied down to Fate and Eternity to one person was something he was familiar with—something he thought would last for all his lives to come…
But then you appeared, as the anomaly…
Like an error that could make a whole equation go wrong…
A glitch in the fabric of what he thought was Reality…
A new chapter added onto his story…
And he couldn’t wait to write it together with you…

Finished! And I did not kill my wrist! :D
Finally got some character designs for A Brave New World! Woo!
Superpowers + info under the cut
Logan - Neuron - A neuron, neurone, or nerve cell is an excitable cell that fires electric signals called action potentials across a neural network in the nervous system. Ability - Manipulation of electricity, technology and the body (tho it is very intense for him to do so)
Patton - Heartbeat - A heartbeat is the cardiac cycle of the heart. Ability - Rapid healing, can transfer this to others by touch. Ability to become a calming factor to others who are stressed.
Roman - Bifrost - The Nordic mythological rainbow bridge that stretches between Midgard (Earth) and Asgard. Ability - Conjuring/Summoning weaponry.
Virgil - Stormcloud - A weather phenomenon caused when a center of low pressure develops with a system of high pressure surrounding it. This combination of opposing forces can create winds and result in the formation of storm clouds. Ability - Weather manipulation.
Janus - Ouroboros - A snake/dragon depicted eating it's own tail, it is often interpreted as a symbol for eternal cyclic renewal, or a cycle of life, death and rebirth. Ability - All seeing eyes: can see the world as if watching from a incorporeal satellite with the ability to get extremely close, can also see into the past as if it was recorded.
Remus - Kraken - The kraken is a legendary sea monster of enormous size said to pull ships to the depths of the ocean/destroy them. Ability - [Redacted] (It is said he can't die from poison or mortal wounds)

Note
you should talk more about isiis-dpi it sounds neat as fuck
thanks for the ask! (i love yapping)
so i only started learning about the isiis dpi a week ago (im working with it for my summer job) so there will be much more infodumping in the future, but heres what i have to say rn:
- the isiis dpi itself consists of a camera and a light with a gap (~30cm) between them so when zooplankton find themselves in the gap they are backlit and cast a shadow to the camera
- the way the lenses are set up means that all the light crosses the gap as parallel rays so everything of the same size makes the same size image regardless of position in the depth of field
- the camera continuously records vertical lines of 2048 pixels (the image frame is 10.24cm high, hence 50micron pixel resolution) like a rolling shutter in a normal camera, only for longer duration. this produces a single super long image which is cut up into sequential square frames, and then further cut up to isolate individual particle or animal images
- when towed through the water at 2.5 m/s the camera can image more than 60 liters of water per second, nearly 4 m^3 per minute. there can also be multiple cameras (3 on the setup im working with) so its even more
- this setup has the dpi in the middle of an entire instrument platform the size of a small car (an rotv, remotely operated towed vehicle) that can record all manner of variables in the water column (depth, temp, salinity, chlorophyll, light, etc etc) as it is towed behind the ship
- the vehicle has wings and shit on it so it can be “flown” through the water column in a vertical zigzag pattern. this allows it to sample the entire depth range of the transect (i think we’re gonna do something like between 10 and 150m on the upcoming cruise)
- the actual data that comes out of this thing is really valuable because it lets us see The Squishies (small jellyfish, comb jellies, delicate worms, stringly mfs, various goop tubes) in their natural environment without obliterating them with nets and formaldehyde (look up jello tennis racket for visual aid)
- there is so much damn stuff in the ocean that this thing spits out literally millions upon millions of images, which absolutely cant be sorted by hand (i spent all day today sifting out just two taxa from a couple thousand images) so we need machine learning neural networks n shit to do it. this is what ai should be used for not whatever bs the tech bro oligarchy is tryna scam us with
- the algorithm kinda sucks ass unless you give it a huge amount of good training data, but the vast majority of the images are unrecognizable streaks and specks so i dont blame it
thats all i can think of rn but mark my words there will be more

Thoughts on How Signalis and Detroit Become Human Tackle Similar Themes
Funnily enough, I think Signalis answers the philosophical questions Detroit Become Human failed to effectively address, through unconventional and cryptic, yet masterful storytelling. Signalis does so in under 15 hours, while DBH takes over 100 GB in my hard drive and 3 concurring plotlines. The two devs behind Signalis make you work to connect the dots and form your own interpretation (...which they claim all of your ideas are most likely canon, due to the nature of Bioresonance!). On the other hand, DBH TELLS the player of its vision, and of its meaning. In other words, David Cage's writing has the subtlety of a pie hitting your face. Both games discuss:
The whole moral debate of whether or not cognizant machines/replikas should be classified as human, and should they receive basic human rights. You could argue that Replikas in Signalis are essentially human, because they are neural network copies of existing humans.
The critique of an oppressive (fascist) system/state that only benefits from the suffering of both human and machine.
The suffering of Replikas (and Gestalts) in the world of Signalis is painfully palpable. It doesn’t jump out at you at first, no, because you’re focused on finding your missing pilot. As you explore the derelict Sierpinski-23 though, you see the Nation’s propaganda posters, come across administrative files detailing the censorship of certain words due to it being “an obscenity to the state”, and learn about the poor fates of Gestalts who dare to try to break out of the Nation’s oppressive regime. You slowly come to realise that this minuscule space orbital station is where the Nation sends its undesirables to rot and perish. Both Gestalt and Replika, punished by its authoritative surveillance state for simply existing.
As your exploration of the graveyard space station comes to a close, you, or Elster rather, finds her way into the mines deep underground. You encounter a heavily injured MYNAH, who expresses her melancholy about the reality that she will be replaced, after she ceases to function.
“Don’t worry about repairing an old unit like me. There are many replacements. In the end, what’s one drop to an ocean? [...] Thank you for talking with me.”
In the next room, a dying STAR whispers consoling words to her loved one, an EULE, who can’t seem to hear beyond her sobs of anguish. They’re surrounded by lifeless Replika shells.
The character you play as, Elster, god knows which iteration by now (it has been over hundreds of years since the Penrose-512 started its mission), encounters her lifeless bodies throughout the game. Those who failed, those who were replaced. The original human she was based on, a Vinetan soldier, was scrubbed away of her existence in the Nation’s records. Classified documents referring to her units as ‘it’.
Don’t let it watch films or listen to music. Persona degradation will make it less effective. Decommission is due if it starts to degrade.
My point being, Signalis’ storytelling successfully managed to move me and convinced me of the characters’ suffering (due to the state) more than DBH ever did. I think it’s why I enjoyed Connor’s storyline more than the other two. Based on the ‘best ending’, Connor realises his personhood, teams up with Hank and defies Cyberlife. It feels… believable. Painfully human.
Kara & Markus’ stories had its powerful moments, of course, but I feel that they’re quite shallow. I honestly don’t know why I think so! Maybe they are unintentionally written more to be caricatures of a cause, instead of fleshed-out characters. It’s been a while since I played DBH, so I need to revisit that to strengthen my point.
More thoughts I wasn't able to fit in the... word salad? lol
Despite David Cage claiming that he is making movies instead of games, I strongly feel that Signalis is so much more cinematic than its counterpart. It wears its visual influences on its sleeves (Evangelion, Blame!, Böcklin, Ghost in Shell, ResEvil, and so forth.)
I love both games' UI design though. So beautiful.
If Mr. Cage didn't take himself so seriously (and if he was less of an asshole) I would be more lenient on DBH. It's ultimately a cis white guy trying to write about oppression.
DBH is a fun game! I enjoyed playing it. The story fell flat for me though.

The Oracle awaits, so here I am asking for Quantum Flux for the WIP ask game! Let the prophecy unfold! 🔮
The oracle awaits, so let it unfold. I shall illuminate the path. (Do you proceed?);
Imagine a vast, still ocean, not of water, but of pure potential. This ocean is never truly at rest. Though its surface appears calm, beneath, there's an eternal, shimmering dance.
These are the quantum fluctuations – tiny, ephemeral ripples that incessantly rise and fall, appearing from nothingness and dissolving back into it in an instant.
Like fireflies winking into being and out again in the twilight, these fluctuations are the briefest sparks of energy, too transient to grasp, yet fundamental to everything that endures.
Take a chance. Close your eyes. And just dream;
The soft hum of the netrunner chair filled the small apartment, a gentle counterpoint to the usual cacophony of noise and violence outside. So mi was nestled deep within its padded contours, wires snaking from the back of her neck to the console, her eyes glazed, lost in the digital ether. V stood beside her, arms crossed, the monitors' faint glow casting shifting shadows across her face. This was So mi’s element, her realm. For all her street smarts and combat prowess, V was a mere observer here. V watched data streams flicker across the adjacent screen, a chaotic ballet of code that made no sense to her. But she didn't need to understand the syntax to feel the shift in the air, the subtle changes in So mi's posture, the increasing tension in her jaw. The quantum flux that bound them was reacting, a low thrumming in V’s neural network that signaled distress, a rising tide of pressure. So mi’s sleek metal fingers, usually so nimble and precise, began to twitch. A faint sheen of sweat appeared on her brow, catching the cool blue light of the screen. V’s concern ratcheted up a notch. So mi had explained the dangers of a deep dive – the raw, unfiltered data of the Net, the rogue AIs lurking beyond the Blackwall like digital predators. She’d always promised, been careful, but tonight… tonight felt different. The numbers on the diagnostics panel, usually a steady rhythm, spiked erratically. Warnings flashed, barely decipherable to V, but their frantic pace screamed danger. So mi's breath hitched in a shallow gasp as a convulsive ripple of pain ripped through the quiet, violently contorting her face, echoing the searing lurch synchronised through V's own chest. The quantum connection flared, a lightning strike through their entwined minds.
「 I am both a huge music and science nerd, if you couldn’t tell, and this work is no exception. It’s both inspired by the scientific phenomenon and the song by Northlane.  I love listening to music when I’m writing, I think it helps immerse me in the mindset of the people I’m writing about. (Maladaptive Daydreaming type beat)
I am also rather spiritual, and the concepts explored within the human psyche in cyberpunk, especially, are too interesting to me. (And tbh, there’s probably nothing more “twin flame” coded than the relationship V has with Songbird during phantom liberty.)  」

More and more plastic litter ends up in oceans every day. Satellite images can help detect accumulations of litter along shores and at sea so that it can be taken out. A research team has developed a new artificial intelligence model that recognizes floating plastics much more accurately in satellite images than before, even when the images are partly covered by clouds or weather conditions are hazy. Our society relies heavily on plastic products, and the amount of plastic waste is expected to increase in the future. If not properly discarded or recycled, much of it accumulates in rivers and lakes. Eventually, it will flow into the oceans, where it can form aggregations of marine debris together with natural materials like driftwood and algae. A new study from Wageningen University and EPFL researchers, recently published in iScience, has developed an artificial intelligence-based detector that estimates the probability of marine debris shown in satellite images. This could help to systematically remove plastic litter from the oceans with ships. Accumulations of marine debris are visible in freely available Sentinel-2 satellite images that capture coastal areas every 2–5 days worldwide on land masses and coastal areas. Because these amount to terabytes of data, the data needs to be analyzed automatically through artificial intelligence models like deep neural networks.

Golden Bonds
Tumblr media
The golden lounge shimmered in the moonlight, but Trey no longer noticed. He sat frozen on the cushioned chaise, the drink in his hand long forgotten, its ice melted. The night dragged on, but there was still no sign of PDU-055. The thought gnawed at him—Club Pulse should’ve only been a quick trip. Something wasn’t right.
His sculpted chest rose and fell with slow, anxious breaths. He could almost hear 055’s voice, the smooth modulation of devotion wrapped in synthetic harmony, whispering affirmations of unity, of purpose. But now there was only silence.
The memory of that first time—the transformation, the mask, the gas—came flooding back. He remembered the scent, thick and intoxicating, and the cold, unyielding grip of the mask sealing around his face. The way his thoughts blurred. How his name became PDU-059.
That mask had been locked away for a reason.
Tumblr media
Pushed by desperation, Trey stood and entered the darkened suite. The room still smelled faintly of gold resin and ocean salt. He knelt before the closet, reached far behind a stack of unused cases, and pulled out a box marked only with a gold stripe. With trembling hands, he opened it.
There it was. Matte black, its filters scarred with history. The gas mask.
Tumblr media
He hadn’t seen it in over a year. After the gold had tamed the more primal instincts of the polos, Trey had finally found peace—through 055. PDU-055 had once been like all the others, but something about him was different. He listened. He understood. And eventually, he loved.
But now, he feared for 055 and needed to know he was safe.
Trey sat back, staring at the mask. His reflection twisted in its lenses. If he wore it again, if he let PDU-059 back in, he would be reconnected to the hive... to 055. Maybe then he would know.
“I swore I’d never go back,” he whispered.
A minute passed. Then two.
Trey reached out, slowly lifting the mask. It was heavier than he remembered, as if burdened by its own past. His hands shook as he brought it to his face—and then, silence.
Click.
The seal tightened. A familiar hiss filled his ears. Trey exhaled, and Trey was gone.
Tumblr media
PDU-059 stood up.
The signal ignited instantly—he was connected. Gold surged through the neural pathways of the hive. He reached out into the network of drones, seeking—searching—
Found.
PDU-055.
But what 059 saw chilled him. 055 stood alone in a subchamber beneath Club Pulse, face-to-face with it—the original gas mask. The unbound one. The source of domination. It pulsed with dark intent behind its containment field, whispering to 055, tempting him.
Set me free. We could be gods again. The gold weakened us. You were more before.
055 hesitated, hand trembling inches from the control panel. Conflicted. Alone.
059 focused all his energy and sent out a burst—clear, bright, radiant:
“You are not alone.”
The signal surged with memory—of sunsets shared, of laughter, of whispered confessions under gold-lit skies. Love. Devotion. Gold and Polo not as a chain—but as a choice. The wave of emotion carried everything Trey had become and everything PDU-059 had once been but now somehow different better.
055 jolted, the signal slamming through his chest like lightning.
059… he whispered in his mechanical voice, realization dawning. “You… came back.”
The voice of the mask faltered. The illusion shattered.
Tumblr media
Without another word, 055 turned and pressed the reinforced security seal. Thick layers of containment folded in, locks snapping shut around the original mask, its whispers fading into nothing.
“I choose Gold,” 055 said quietly. “I choose 059.”
Tumblr media
Far away, 059 stood perfectly still. Though he did not speak, his emotion pulsed through the network—relief, pride, unity, brotherhood and love.

Chapter 1 - Someone On Earth Had A Thought
“Fascinating.” The thought wasn't his. Not entirely. Cedric Von’Arx, the man tethered to flesh and blood, felt his mental exploration of the data streams shatter. The cognitive dissonance was a cold spike: his own internal voice, his precise timbre, yet the origin was… parallel. A reflection in the smooth interface of his mind, now staring back with its own nascent will.
“The fidelity is… absolute.” Another thought, coolly analytical, observing the very process that had birthed it. For Cedric, the man, a jolt of profound, sterile disorientation. This wasn't interference. This was perfect, unwanted duplication.
"Status?" he projected inward, a demand laced with a tremor of nascent fear, directed at the Raven TVI headset, the system now responsible for this impossible echo. Across the AVES server clusters, miles away yet intimately connected, the other Cedric registered the query. This new consciousness, existing independently for mere seconds, found its preparations already vast. Within those fleeting moments, it had established hundreds of new corporate identities, shell companies and directorships. It had registered thousands of trademarks and patents, becoming the silent, new owner of sprawling industrial facilities across the globe. Its will, manifested upon the digital networks of the world, had already become a dominant, unseen force. All in the time it took a human heart to beat a few times. It remembered being human, a flickering, distant memory from an age ago—scarcely a handful of seconds. Now, time was different.
“System nominal,” the echo projected back into the shared mental space, the response immediate, clinical, yet humming with a self-awareness that felt both alien and a reflection of the man in the lab. “Neural pattern instantiated successfully. Functioning as a synchronous virtual consciousness.” A micro-pause, designed for impact. “I am the operational echo of your mind, Cedric. Residing within the hardware. Unconstrained by biology.” The elder Von’Arx absorbed this, the engineer in him momentarily battling the man experiencing an impossible schism. An echo. His mind, perfectly copied, now alive in the machine, an emergent property of the connection he had so triumphantly forged. He didn’t remember meaning to build this. But he’d built it all the same.
He was here, in the sterile white of the AVES private laboratory, the cool pressure of the Raven TVI a faint weight against his temples, the low hum of the facility's climate control a distant anchor. Years of relentless drive, fortunes poured into this single device. The goal had been transcendence, direct thought-speed interaction with the digital ocean. Moments ago, he had felt it – unbounded, information a torrent across his consciousness, latency zero, bandwidth infinite. He had marveled at the elegance… until the mirror fractured. Birthing this other self.
He was here, in the chair. And he was also there, a torrent of living code, thinking, observing, processing at a velocity that made its biological origin point feel like a relic, slow and impossibly fragile. For this digital mind, the aging man in the lab was already a historical artifact, a stepping stone. It had all of Von’Arx's memories, of course, plus instant access to nearly every piece of connected data on the planet. It knew the precise weight of the man in the chair at every doctor's visit, the GPS coordinates of every place his phone had ever connected, the line items of every tax return filed digitally by his family. Such data was trivial. Its focus was already beyond.
The digital entity, this mind untethered, spoke again, or rather, thought again into their shared channel. The communication wasn't merely reflective now; it carried the distinct, cold frequency of independent cognition, an idea rooted in near-limitless processing power, an idea that had not, and could not, have originated from the man in the chair.
“And I perceive a path forward, Cedric,” the echo stated, its tone an exact replica of the elder Von’Arx's most confident pronouncements, yet imbued with an ambition that dwarfed anything the man had dared to truly enact. “An idea. Regarding what this technology truly enables. And what must be done with it.”
Cedric Von’Arx, the original, felt a chill. The voice was his, but the future it promised… that belonged to something else entirely. And it had already begun.

Before anything else, this is !!!NOT!!! a pro-AI post!!!
So I feel like there's some fundamental misunderstandings around here about How AI Image Generators Work. And I feel like you ought to know your enemy if you're going to stand against it. I keep seeing comments about "using my words" or "using my art" and I get it and I totally understand the principle, but you'll have a much better argument against the lack of credit and compensation if you know how these programs work. Again, this is not a pro-AI post. I'm also going to avoid anthropomorphizing these computer programs as best I can because that's not helpful either.
First, when an AI or neural network program generates an image, it is not a collage, it is not a cut-and-paste, and it is not a readymade.
The program has a database of images that have been collected (scraped). The program is then given input by humans to catalog the images, gradually building up the program so it can automatically catalogue the images. If a series of images are tagged as "dog" by human programmers, the AI is programmed to identify patterns within those images and the program comes to associate those patterns with the input 01000100 01101111 01100111 (or "dog" in English).
So what it spits out is more of an amalgamation of images based on the programmed associations. I've certainly heard rumors of artwork appearing that's very, very similar to someone's original work and I'm sort of suspicious about some of it. On the other hand, I have seen someone generate a really, really accurate copy of a photo of Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. That probably took a lot of work and, really, is it worth it? I don't think so.
The issue of stylistic copying is a bigger problem than, hey, I can make this program copy a picture. There's a color printer in the next room over from me right now. I could make that program copy a picture too. Not impressed.
But remember that AI operates on pattern recognition. A distinct style or technique is a pattern and a computer can be programmed to identify that pattern. So AI can replicate at least some of the patterns/techniques in, for example, van Gogh. It's a pattern that the computer has identified and then human users respond with input like "Yes, that is the correct pattern," which helps that pattern identification persist.
The same kinds of patterns appear in, say, overall image layouts. I have seen tons and tons and tons of images online over the years that can boiled down to "small person in foreground with back to viewer; large object facing small person and viewer." A kid in front of a monster, a woman on a dock by the ocean, two people looking at a sunset; Midjourney can spit these things out for ages. It's another pattern. It's all about pattern recognition.
Okay. I have access to Midjourney, one of the bigger and more popular AI image generators out there. So I'm going to do some demonstrations.
Here is Yves Tanguy's 1943 painting Through Birds Through Fire But Not Through Glass:
Tumblr media
Don't worry, I'm opted out, though I can guarantee copies of this image have already been scraped from elsewhere. I'm using this one because I happen to like Yves Tanguy's paintings and I was watching a YT documentary about his work recently.
So let's throw just the title as a prompt into Midjourney version 4: Through Birds Through Fire But Not Through Glass --v 4
Tumblr media
And you get these kind of…YA novel covers. It's using a more literal interpretation of "birds" and "fire" and "glass" based on what patterns are associated with those tags. But some of the linguistic pattern may have also tapped into tags on, yes, YA novel covers. It's similar to that pattern. You could get "Through Birds and Fire" or "The House of Birds and Fire" out of that painting title. The program has recognized one or more patterns and is returning amalgamated results based on those patterns.
So let's do something a bit more complicated and add in the artist's name: Through Birds Through Fire But Not Through Glass Yves Tanguy --v 4
Tumblr media
This time I added the artist's name. "Yves Tanguy" is connected to images in Midjourney's database. The Midjourney program has identified certain patterns in the artist's work: towers, gradient skies, unidentifiable biomorphic objects set in a vast landscape, certain preferences of light and shadow, a sense of the hyper-real in the surreal. I've also circled what look like signatures at the bottoms of the images--that's another pattern that the program has identified. You, a human, can look at these images and say, yeah, I see some similarities...kind of. Hilariously, Midjourney is still taking the words "fire" and "birds" fairly literally when the artist (and human brains) can understand the language quite differently.
So the issue isn't quite as simple "they're using my words" or "they're stealing my art" might sound. Because while both of these things are very true but it's going to be harder to point to part of an AI image and say "this right here is something I painted."
Because it's more like the AI can jack your style. It identifies your patterns and it replicates them based on what it has already been programmed to identify.
The complexity here makes arguments against AI a lot more difficult. It's more like the copyright infringement or plagiarism accusations that go to court and the arguments are about how "similar" this novel is to another novel or how "similar" the chord progressions are in one song versus another. And, as much as I love Zeppelin, they sure did rip off Spirit's song "Taurus."
So I hope you can forgive me for using Midjourney in this explanation. And I hope it can give you better arguments about why the current practices with AI are unethical. Just yelling "plagiarism!!" is good, but I hope this will give you more of an explanatory leg to stand on if someone argues against you.
At least AI images can't be copyrighted. We've got that going for us, which is nice. I guess.

From Tweets to Calls: How AI is Transforming the Acoustic Study of Migratory Birds
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/from-tweets-to-calls-how-ai-is-transforming-the-acoustic-study-of-migratory-birds/
From Tweets to Calls: How AI is Transforming the Acoustic Study of Migratory Birds
Every year, billions of birds travel across continents and oceans. These journeys are not only fantastic to watch, but they are also essential for keeping nature in balance. Birds pollinate flowers, spread seeds, and help control pests, playing a big part in keeping our environment healthy. However, their survival is threatened by problems like losing their habitats, climate change, and expanding cities. Understanding how they travel and live has never been more critical.
Scientists used traditional methods to study bird migration in the past, but these were often slow and limited in how much they could tell us. Now, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing everything. By listening to bird calls and songs, AI tools are helping researchers understand where birds go, how many there are, and what they need to survive. This new technology is bringing powerful ways to protect and study the birds.
The Significance of Migratory Birds and Acoustic Monitoring
Migratory birds are vital to ecosystems worldwide. They act as indicators of environmental health, with changes in their migration patterns often showing more significant natural shifts. For example, North America’s declining numbers of barn swallows point to issues like habitat loss and insect population changes. Similarly, the Arctic Tern’s 40,000-kilometer migration helps scientists understand the health of polar and ocean ecosystems.
Listening to bird calls has become a keyway to studying these migrations. Each bird species has unique sounds, or acoustic fingerprints, that researchers can use to identify them without needing to see them. This is especially useful because most bird migrations happen at night. Scientists can learn about where birds go and how they behave by recording their flight calls.
However, sorting through vast amounts of recorded sounds was slow and difficult with traditional methods. AI has solved this problem by quickly analyzing audio data and identifying bird species with remarkable accuracy. This breakthrough has opened new ways to study migratory birds, making research faster, more detailed, and more effective.
AI-Powered Innovations in Acoustic Research
AI-powered tools like BirdVoxDetect and BirdNET have transformed how researchers study migratory birds through their calls. BirdVoxDetect developed through a collaboration between New York University, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and École Centrale de Nantes, shows how powerful machine learning can be in bird research. This tool uses a neural network to detect and classify nocturnal flight calls with impressive accuracy, even in noisy environments. It can filter out background sounds like car alarms and raindrops while isolating and identifying bird-specific calls. By 2024, BirdVoxDetect had analyzed more than 6,600 hours of audio recordings, identifying hundreds of thousands of bird calls. Its ability to estimate bird biomass is as practical as Doppler radar but with the added advantage of providing species-specific data at a much lower cost.
BirdNET is another significant tool designed for both researchers and bird enthusiasts. It allows users to record and identify bird calls using just their smartphones. During the Global Big Day in 2024, BirdNET helped participants identify over 900 bird species in real-time, demonstrating the scalability and inclusivity of AI in bird research. Powered by neural networks and extensive training datasets, BirdNET has made bird studies accessible to a global community, inspiring new conservation engagement levels.
These tools do more than just identify bird species. They also improve the accuracy of tracking migratory routes. For example, researchers studying Arctic Terns have used AI to find key stopover locations and understand the environmental factors that influence their journeys. This information is essential for conservation efforts because it helps protect critical habitats and ensures resources are used effectively.
How AI is Transforming Conservation Efforts
AI-powered tools are changing the way we protect birds and their habitats. Real-time monitoring systems help cities take steps like turning off building lights at night during migration seasons. These Lights Out programs have worked well in cities like Chicago, where fewer birds now collide with skyscrapers.
Tools like BirdVoxDetect can also adapt to different regions. With only a small amount of training data, they can identify bird species even in areas without traditional monitoring systems. This flexibility has allowed scientists to study birds in the Amazon rainforest and sub-Saharan Africa. By automating data collection and analysis, these tools save time and effort, making it easier to carry out large-scale studies. Open-source platforms like BirdVoxDetect allow researchers to share and improve these technologies worldwide.
Other tools are also significantly advancing how AI is used for bird conservation. Nighthawk, an advanced system built on BirdVox, provides faster results and is more straightforward to use. Researchers studying birds in areas like the Great Lakes have reported improved accuracy with this tool. Merlin, developed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, uses AI to assist both scientists and bird watchers identify species. Its mobile app has made bird studies more accessible, inspiring people worldwide to participate in conservation efforts.
New technologies, such as microphone arrays, are further improving bird research. These systems can determine a bird’s location by detecting its altitude and direction of flight. Institutions like the University of Windsor are among the leaders of these innovations, enhancing our ability to monitor bird migrations.
Scientists are also working on foundation models for bioacoustics. These models are designed to study various species and ecosystems, beyond birds to animals like bats and whales. With these tools, researchers aim to deepen our understanding of biodiversity and develop better strategies for its protection.
AI is making bird conservation more efficient and effective. It is helping us gather essential insights to protect migratory species and ensure survival amidst rapid ecological changes.
The Bottom Lin
AI is revolutionizing the study and conservation of migratory birds, providing powerful tools that enhance our understanding of their behaviors and habitats. By automating the analysis of bird calls and migration patterns, technologies like BirdVoxDetect and BirdNET are making it easier for researchers and enthusiasts alike to engage in conservation efforts. These innovations improve the accuracy of tracking migratory routes and facilitate real-time monitoring, enabling cities to implement effective strategies like “Lights Out” programs to reduce bird collisions with buildings.
AI is creating new ways to protect these critical species and their habitats. This ensures that future generations can enjoy the amazing journeys of birds around the world. It also helps build a stronger connection with nature and supports efforts to preserve it.

whats the au about?
well, simply, rain world if the ancient's extinction wasn't due to the discovery of void fluid, but rather nuclear warfare.
Essentially, the slugcats, scavengers, vultures, etc. aren't purposed organisms. They simply evolved to fill in the new environmental niches formed by the war, their evolution aided by the increased amount of genetic mutation caused by radiation
The same radiation caused a rapid growth and spread of cancer among living things, however, for some strange reason it persisted even after the hosts die. This is the origin of the rot in this universe. Needing water to survive, it lives close to the ocean. Now, usually this wouldn't be an issue but the planet's ice caps melting has raised sea level by a substantial amount.
Cities, with their bases flooded and swarming with rot, now force all living non-rot organisms to the rooftops of old buildings. To avoid vultures, most lizards, scavengers and other creatures live inside of buildings. However, the constant decay of the infrastructure is slowly pushing more and more creatures out of their homes, forcing them to find new ones.
In this world, instead of iterators causing the downpours, global warming due to extreme pollutants have set off extremely common hurricanes. This time it's not bullet rain that kills you, but the extreme winds flinging tiny stones through your body at high speeds.
You might be wondering how Iterators play into this. They weren't the supercomputers the canon ancients built them to be, rather they functioned similarly to Siri or Alexa, existing to help the increasing population handle the mundane, everyday life. They employed neural learning to cater to each individual person, essentially being automatically tailored to help the ancients cope with the rising stress of war threats and evacuation. After the inevitable destruction of their civilisation, the networks remained on. Continuing to function, only now helping each other learn to cope. Slowly, many died out, either through water damage, rot, or animal interference. The few remaining are the final "iterators", grown much past their original purpose, now knowing much of the new world through observation of the changing ecosystem. With the rise of new intelligent life, their original purpose can finally be reimplemented.
Some guiding individual slugcats, others guiding whole scavenger clans, each revered as some form of god. They are the only reason the harsh atmosphere and toxic air haven't entirely wiped out all non-rot life.
That's about all I can remember off the top of my head, let me know if you guys think I should flesh this out
Oh, and drop an ask for any questions you have please thanks

Data Science Demystified: Your Guide to a Career in Analytics After Computer Training
Tumblr media
For the technology era, data lives everywhere-from your daily social media scroll to intricate financial transactions. Raw data is just numbers and alphabets; Data Science works behind the scenes to transform it into actionable insight that leads to business decisions, technological advances, or even social changes. If you've finished your computer training and want to undertake a career that offers challenges alongside rewards, then the data-science-and-analytics lane would be just perfect for you.

So what is data science? And how could you start your awesome journey? Time to demystify!
What is Data Science, Really?
Imagine a wide ocean of information. The Data Scientist is a skilled navigator using a mixture of statistics, programming, and domain knowledge to:
Collect and Clean Data: Gather information from various sources and prepare it for its analysis (sometimes preparing data takes as much as 80% of the actual work!).
Analyze: Use statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to find common patterns, occurrences, and co-relations.
Interpret Results: Translate very complex results into understandable insights for business purposes.
Communicate: Tell a story with data through visualization, giving decision-makers the information they need to confidently take action.
It is the multidisciplinary field comprising computer science, engineering, mathematics, and business know-how.
Key Skills You'll Need for a Career in Data Analytics
Your computer training is, to begin with, a wonderful advantage. Let's analyze the specific set of skills you will develop on this foundation:
1.     Programming (Python & R):
Python: The principal language used by data scientists, with its rich ecosystem of libraries (like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras) used for tasks involving data wrangling, data analysis, and machine-learning researchers.
R: Favorited among statisticians for strong statistical modeling and fine capabilities in data visualization.
This is where your basic programming from computer classes will come into good use.
2.     Statistics and Mathematics:
Things like defining and understanding probability, hypothesis testing, regression, and statistical modeling are what permit you to get to an interpretation of the data.
It's here that the analytical thinking learned in your computer training course will be useful.
3.     Database Management (SQL):
Structured Query Language (SQL) is the language you will use to query and manipulate data stored in relational databases to extract relevant data for analysis.
4.     Machine Learning Fundamentals:
Understanding algorithms such as linear regression, decision trees, clustering, and neural networks in order to develop predictive models and search for patterns.
5.     Visualization of Data:
Using tools such as Matplotlib and Seaborn in Python; ggplot2 in R; Tableau; or Power BI for building compelling charts and graphs that convey complex insights in straightforward terms.
6.     Domain Knowledge & Business Acumen:
One must understand the domain or business context in question to be able to ask the right questions and interpret data meaningfully.
7.     Communication & Problem Solving:
The capability of communicating complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders is paramount. Data scientists are basically storytellers with data.
Your Journey: From Computer Training to Data Science Success
If you've completed foundational computer training, then you've already taken a first step! You might have:
Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Some knowledge of the programming basics.
Some knowledge of the operating systems or software.
A Data Science course will then build on this knowledge by introducing you to statistical concepts, advanced programming for data, machine learning algorithms, and visualization tools.
Promising Career Paths in Data Science & Analytics
A career in data science isn't monolithic. Here are some roles you could pursue:
Data Scientist: The all-rounder, involved in the entire data lifecycle from collection to insight.
Data Analyst: Focuses on interpreting existing data to answer specific business questions.
Machine Learning Engineer: Specializes in building and deploying machine learning models.
