controversially I do think that the under the red hood comic ending is a solid answer to “how do you get Batman to kill someone without breaking him as a character”

#That is if you think Jason died at the end of utrh which I sorta do #they were arguing about this exact thing on Twitter the other day and someone brought up the utrh movie ending. I was like nah. Bring up th #Other one. Bruce was in a situation where he was trying to save two people who were determined to either die or kill the other person #(or kill everyone in the room maybe) and by trying to do the typical Batman thing and choose neither/both of them. They took the opportunit #to choose for him. Joker takes the opportunity to set off the explosives sealing Jason’s fate and in a new favorite interpretation of mine:#Jason chooses not to dodge the batarang and lets Bruce deal him a fatal blow. Moral of the story: not everyone can be saved #Jason Todd #Batman #under the red hood #dc #Bruce Wayne

Thinking about kid Syd and kid Carmy spending an afternoon neither of them remember anymore playing under the tables of The Beef

I have a groundbreaking concept.

A wedding episode/story where nothing unusual goes wrong (or even NEARLY goes wrong) and the audience and characters both just get to enjoy this big event without it going off the rails at any point.

#this is not inspired by any particular case just by my general grumpiness with the way Wedding Episodes seem to pan out #i don't WANT something to go dramatically wrong! i don't want the wedding to be called off or end up cobbled together out of the wreckage!#this should be a great opportunity to show your characters' bonds and love for each other--both in the pairing and the community around the #also i just hate seeing people's hard work and plans wrecked and do you know how much work goes into a wedding??#i WANT to see the dress and the cake and the flowers and the reception that they worked so hard on actually come to fruition #but probably most of all and especially. weddings ARE supposed to be the start of a Happily Ever After and if you've done your job right #then the characters getting married should have MERITED that #the plot can continue after sure. but i want them to get One Nice Day for the start of their new life. marriage deserves celebration #and domesticity! marriage deserves the domesticity of an episode where everyone successfully enjoys a really nice party after the wedding!

#warhammer 40k #wh40k #miniature painting #necrons #miniatures #necron #nihilakh dynasty #he bought them during the transitional period from clear rods to the modern-day barrels #so the other necron models he had just... have the current versions #none of his immortals have the clear rods either. the manual he got with the box of that time showed a mixture of glowcrons and new!#i thought it was a fun bit of history 😄#i like the old and new rods more or less the same so i'll keep them as they are #also i have decided my nihilakh warriors are still Very Gold and Fancy and the higher up the hierarchy it will only get fancier 😆#the overlord(s) i will run them with are haughtily prideful of their wealth and would want to show off at every opportunity i think
