at the beginning of

EVERY NEW FUCKING LINE

to let me know, "...Hey. Didja know... you can insert a dropdown now???"

I've searched the whole entire goddamn internet for a way to get rid of it. Ir turn it off, or disable it. Consensus seems to be

I almost had an adult-sized meltdown in Starbucks when I discovered this on an actual work-related task. Rapid breathing. Elevated heart rate. Normal conversation and ambient music hitting my nerves like fucking alarm bells and explosions. Literally had to leave and go walk around somewhere to calm down. Unsolvable technological problems that SHOULD BE SIMPLE literally overwhelm me. When that shit happens, I cannot think. I become an absolute creature, I cannot be reasoned with, I am like a dog in a thunderstorm, and bark starts to want to bite.

It is something simple. It Should Be Simple. Fucking hell, it Should Not Be. But it is. And it can't be stopped. And there's so much other stress in my life, I literally cannot deal with it.

Sooooo...I'm out. Fuck this shit.

Hi! Thanks for checking in! I'm alive, and my writing mojo took a longer vacation than I would have liked, but it started coming back in the last couple of months. Unfortunately, for the wrong things, but I have long since learned that I have to let the happy brain chemicals do their thing on whatever project(s) gave the random inspiration burst before I can reign them in.

I am working on the next chapter of Runaways, and it is coming along, but I'm probably going to wait until I have at least two or three chapters done before I start posting again. To keep the rest of the arc's update time consistent, hopefully. (And if I don't come back with Runaways soon, I absolutely plan on getting out a side story or two for @ft-platonicweek because I have ideas~ :3)

And awwww thank you anon! I'm glad over people enjoy me picking out details of FT I find interesting and under utilized and going ham lol. Like with Jellal—he's such an interesting character, and even more so when he can be relatively stable and not a sad boi incarnate. Not that he's not prime sad boi stick target material but... I digress XD

Guys tumblr isn't going to be deleted....!! 😭 a skeleton crew is just the bare minimum amount of staff required to run the website. It will still be here and it will still have staff/people working on the site, just a lot less of them

genuinely i think tumblr is supposed to be a nigh nonfunctional testing ground for ideas that will never be implemented in mainstream social media. after all, they keep implementing new ‘features’ that last a few months then get taken away.

god being fully honest after watching mobile go down the drain for years i’ve been silently really hoping they just leave desktop as it is because like,,, even with extensions and scripts and all that, its a lot fucking harder to avoid an update on here. like at least on mobile you can stop updating it or roll it back or whatever but on desktop if you have the update thats it, you have it! sometimes you can get rid of it but then you just have to hope the backend doesnt update again and become completely incompatible with those fixes, and then you either find a new one or a new one is literally impossible and you’re just stuck with it forever
