Clegan fantastic beasts and where to find them AU Fic idea:
Tumblr media
So this won't leave my brain, and I need someone to write this! 😩
(They meet before the first movie, and cross paths again in the third movie)
Theseus Scamander and Gale Cleven (I don't know what other name to give him in this AU) meet and fight together during the war and grow close. They're both wizards.
Gale falls in love with him but doesn't say anything.
Once the war is over, Theseus has to return home, but promises to keep in contact with Gale through letters.
Over the next few years Gale sends him letters and eagerly awaits his own in return. Theseus never responds.
Over time, Gale stops sending letters, resentment towards his friend growing stronger and stronger.
Theseus returns home and is rewarded for his exemplary performance during the war. He's viewed as a war hero.
He eagerly waits for Gale to send him a letter, but it never comes. Theseus doesn't know whether or not he should send the first letter.
He decides against it, patiently waiting until eventually, it becomes an afterthought. Too many things around him need his attention.
He becomes an aurora for the British ministry and works his way to the top, becoming head of the Auror's office.
He is soon set to be engaged to Leta Lestrange. A political marriage of convenience. News spreads quickly and soon, Gale is made aware. Through the newspaper.
The events of the second movie transpire as normal. (Leta Lestrange doesn't die).
*Now we're set during the beginning of the third movie*
Gale goes to England , he's sent over on a secret mission. He plans on doing his job and returning to the United states as soon as possible.
As it turns out, this super secret mission involves stopping Grindelwald. That means that Theseus is also involved.
He's there to help his younger brother Newt. Leta also joins in to help, alongside Jacob (Muggle), Bunty (Newt's assistant), Professor Eulalie (witchcraft teacher) and Yusuf kama(a powerful wizard, and Leta's half brother)
Theseus and Gale have a very rocky reunion. Theseus seemingly oblivious to Gale's hostile demeanor.
Over the course of their mission, Gale grows close to Newt, his interest in magical creatures makes Newt open up to him.
Theseus doesn't take this well, as he's always had a hard time bonding with his younger brother.
Tension between them grows and it starts to affect the team. Leta tries to difuse the situation, but it only seems to make things worse.
Something happens and Theseus and Gale trapped in a dangerous situation. They argue and Theseus snaps, demanding to know why Gale has been so cold towards him.
Gale tells him about the letters he sent him. How he waited for Theseus to respond. How he thought he cared about him.
What letters?
Theseus hadn't received any letters. He wanted to send his own letters to Gale, but he didn't, waiting for Gale's first letter, like he had promised.
They clear things up, and escape from danger. Gale apologises and Theseus does as well.
They hug.
Theseus tells him how happy he is to have his friend back. That breaks Gale's heart.
It's at that moment that he realises. All those years of resentment and pain had all been for nothing. Gale knew.
He has never stopped loving Theseus.
They reunite with the others and go on to complete the mission.
During their final confrontation with Grindelwald, they seem to be losing, all hope lost.
Gale decides to sacrifice himself to help the others.
Now, I see three endings for this fic.
Happy ending:
Gale survives Grindelwald's attack and Theseus, terrified at the thought of losing him, realises he also has feelings for Gale.
He breaks off his engagement with Leta, they remain good friends. (I love Leta, I physically cannot bring myself to make her evil or cruel)
He starts courting Gale.
They can't get married, because they're both men and it's the 1940s, but they spend the rest of their lives together, loving each other to the end of their days.
Bittersweet ending:
Gale survives Grindelwald's attack. Theseus ends up marrying Leta. Gale is at their wedding. They say goodbye with the promise of sending letters to eachother properly.
Gale returns to the United states. He never falls in love again, living the rest of his life in solitude.
The only comfort in his life being the letters Theseus sends him updating him on his own life.
His anniversaries, the birth of his children, Theseus makes him the Godfather to one of his kids, and so on.
Gale dies at 45 of a broken heart.
Theseus lives on.
Sad Ending:
Gale dies sacrificing himself.
He dies thinking about Theseus. He dies with the thought that at least now, Theseus gets to be happy and live his life growing old married to Leta.
He dies not knowing Theseus loved him back.
Soooo, what ending do you like more? Let me know!

Day #11
Today's prompt was "favorite Newt platonic relationship"
Tumblr media
If I settle on what we see on screen, I would say Jacob (well, I could almost say Tina too, but that makes me sad), but I already talked a lot about their friendship. But I really love how it evolved in the course of the 3 movies.
Tumblr media
Then, to be honest, I love almost all relationships that are portrayed, or, at least, how I build them up in my head. I have so many HC...
Tumblr media
With Theseus : I really like how their relationship evolved since the beginning of CoG, from a bit overprotective Theseus, to a Newt who actually is the one to save his brother. I love how Newt is little by little closer to his brother. It's sad that the bound have probably been helped by Leta's death.
Tumblr media
With Queenie : I really think there is a huge potential. Because he has difficulties to share with others, because she can "hear" him, at least a part, because they share values, and weaknesses (and Tina).
Tumblr media
With Leta : I'm really sad they wasted Leta's character (like they did with almost... hum, all... women...). They had so much potential as friends, then as family. Their dynamic was complicated, but, I believe, interesting. And they helped each other to go through teenage years... I would have liked to see more of that too.
Tumblr media
With Bunty : well I know a lot don't like her, like she's annoying, or even a stalker. I believe she brings a lot to him. Because she (if we use ITW as referenecs) makes him understand that he can't do all by himself, he needs help for his creatures. She helps him to learn how to cooperate with something else, despite how difficult it his, and in particular for something he knows so well (beasts). Yes, she has a crush on him, yes he's oblivious, and yes I don't think this part of the plot was necessary (but I don't mind, it was, maybe just for the "insignificant person" thing and, then, SOD plot, but... meh...). But the character is nice and important for Newt's development. I believe at least.
Tumblr media
With Lally well, we don't have many information but I love how they seem fan about their respective works, and how he's comfortable with her, despite the fact they didn't met before, probably because they exchanged letters. And because they share some knowledge.
Tumblr media
Well, I guess that the relationship I have some reservations about is with Dumbledore.
Oh, and I don't count the creatures, as they are his children...

You had more opportunities in the last film to work with Jude, because in Crimes of Grindelwald I don't recall we have scenes with Dumbledore and Bunty.
Victoria Yeates: No, there was more. They changed the script. There was more in the first one, and then it got moved, kind of me saving the day got moved to this film. So there was gonna be more, and then it changed more into this film, which was more about the goodies.
So those scenes from Crimes of Grindelwald, they got cut. Where would Bunty and Dumbledore have run into each other?
Victoria Yeates: I don't know. I didn't get to see them. Yeah, I just knew it like a vague something or other, because they were planning it all out. They were trying to also work out dates with Neal Street in Call the Midwife and trying to get me released so that I can do the film, and that was a bit complicated.
At the end of Secrets of Dumbledore, even if she is kind of the hero who saves the day, the way that she talked about Tina at the end, we feel like, "No, it can't be end of the story." We need more because she's still in grief for what should have been.
Victoria Yeates: That was what got decided when we got to that scene. I said to Eddie, I said, "I want the audience to know that I'm letting you go. I don't want this to continue", and I think that's a really beautiful thing when you love someone, seeing the other person's photo and saying, "That's who you should be with." Sometimes you just know that's who you're supposed to be with, and I think that again shows you a depth of emotional maturity, just an incredible aspect of her person, to look at someone and go, "You know, you love Tina. You know, go for it. You know you do." Yeah, I thought that was really a lovely way to finish that arc for her, and then it opens up for everything.
What a shame that we missed out on girlboss, hyper-competent Bunty.
Victoria Yeates: I know. I know. It was like a really good scene about character, which I suppose why they wrote it in. It was long enough as it was, things have to go. But she really gives it to the Nifflers. She's really strict with them, and she really tells them off. She just absolutely has it, like, "I'm not having any more of your nonsense. She's really like, "Look, get back in the case, now." David said, "I love how you shout at the Nifflers." I'm really like strict.
So obviously we've talked a lot about Bunty's character. Why do you think she is the right choice to carry the real case? Why was she the chosen one in that situation?
Victoria Yeates: Because she's completely unexpected. So who's gonna be trying to chase Bunty? It's a good choice, isn't it? It's like when you pick spies or people like that, you are not gonna go for someone that's really loud-mouthed and obvious, and I think that there was a bit that was cut where Dumbledore and Newt are talking, and Dumbledore says that Bunty, she's incredible, your assistant, and he says, "I chose her because she's like the Qilin, because she's pure of heart." Yeah, and so that is the essence of the whole film, is that her and the Qilin represent each other and she's pure of heart, and only someone pure of heart can say to the person they love, "Go and be with someone else." Because that's real love, isn't it? When you really want someone to be happy. Yeah, so that was why she was chosen, and obviously the Qilin would be comfortable with her.
So when it actually comes to Bunty's crush, do you have any idea about that backstory, about how she became so attached, how it was so intense? Obviously she lets up by the end, but it was like...
Victoria Yeates: Yeah, it's been eight years, isn' it? So she idolised him at school. This is what I think. So, yeah, she's admired him from afar and then she goes to the book signing, and I think there's a photograph of that in the first movie, and so she goes to the book signing and it's just like really gauche, such a big fan, and just says, "Do you need an assistant? I'll come and help you. I'll just come and help, you know. That's fine, whatever you need." She just imposed herself on him, and that's it, and she just goes in, and that's it, just get herself a job. So that's the thing, isn't it? This is where you start to piece things together. She's that kind of person. She goes for what she wants also. There's gotta be a part of her where she goes, "Right, I'm gonna not only goes to the book signing, I'm gonna go up to him and say, 'You need an assistant. I'm gonna be an assistant. Can I be your assistant?'" He doesn't know what to do because he's probably like, "No." His type of character is not just gonna let someone in. She'd have to be quite persistent, I think, to get in. He's not just gonna go, "Oh, yeah, here we go. Come on down." He's really socially inept. He doesn't want someone around. She's got to become indispensable to him. So another knock on the door, turns up again, "Just thought you might need some help," and then he's like, "Look, this girl keeps coming. I just feel now she just stayed."
So you said that you were supposed to go film in Portugal for what scenes?
Victoria Yeates: So it was gonna be set in Brazil. So we were all gonna get three months or something in Portugal, yeah, and then that old Covid bug put an all stopper on that. I know, we were so excited. We were like, "Oh my God, I bet we get an amazing hotel. We would have time off to go to the beach. Oh, wow. Be wild."

My #1 post of 2022
Ok but what if din was there during the originals and like is crushing so hard… and Vader finds out first his daughter is falling for the smuggler now his son is falling for the mandolrin
Can we have headcanons for Vader’s reaction?
Okay, let's see here...
Now, I think we can all agree Vader does anything he can to get his hands on any and all peices of information on his son.
For "research purposes" ofc. (Not. It's cuz he's a snoop. Anakin's still in there, ya know! )
And lo and behold, what is this Vader finds?
What's this Mandalorian bounty hunter doing tagging along with Luke?
...and not bringing him in for that sweet reward Vader placed on his son's head?
So, Vader being Vader (or Anakin being Anakin) starts to keep a closer eye on this Mando.
He pours over holo footage of this Mando lending a hand to Luke, the princess, and that accursed smuggler Solo (at least Solo seems to be just as disgruntled as he is!)
So from that 3 year gap between ANH and Empire, Vader just can't shake the feeling that this Mando...there's something going on there but he can't figure out what...
AND THEN COMES BESPIN
Vader's trap is set. It goes as planned...until it doesn't. (Shocker, right?)
While that Mando's not there, he *does* overhear a little conversation between Leia and Han about him...and Luke.
He would've choked if he could.
Luke. His son. The only person he still cares about.
Is dating?
A Mandalorian?
Force, no.
Not on his fucking watch.
Vader manages to keep his indignation under control for a bit - until he blurts out (before the I am your father moment) to Luke that he *knows* about his relationship.
Luke is, understandably, confused and worried.
On one hand, "oh no Vader knows about Din!"
On the other... (mind the pun)
What does Luke's love life have to do with Vader?! Has Vader been stalking him or something?! (Yes Luke. The answer is yes.)
Then comes the reveal and Luke's ultimate escape, leaving Vader even more frazzled.
First, he finds out he has a son.
Then, that son has a boyfriend. (Who is he? What did he look like under that stupid helmet!!? How old was he - Vader needs to know, okay?!)
Then comes an offhanded comment from Boba Fett.
"Oh, a Mando is silver and red armor? Yeah I know him."

my non-spoiler review of fantastic beasts: the secrets of dumbledore - and why you all should watch it
fantastic beasts: the secrets of dumbledore is just amazing. I have been about to sob for all over the film (heartbreaking moments, too much for my heart that wasn't ready for all of this).
Finally I had the magic. This was magic. Everything. The characters are awesome, beautifully written, beautifully interpreted. Jude Law is simply perfect as Dumbledore, and in this film you can perfectly see it. Mads Mikkelsen is wow. His Grindelwald has something that Depp's did not have, though I loved the original Grindelwald too. But, now, after have seen the film, I can't imagine someone who isn't Mads at the place of Grindelwald. Something of his face, maybe, of his deportment, of his attitude, his expression. And Grindelwald has to be like this: noble, apparently gentle, mysterious, charming. The plot, the landscapes, the fantastic beasts themselves... All of it.
Plot
This film had to do only one thing: tell us who Creedence is. And, guys, I swear to you that we all come to know the truth. And, as Jo Rowling has always done, it is upsetting, something I would have never thought about. But this film is not simply this: it is about Dumbledore, and, God, Albus Dumbledore is the absolute protagonist. Finally his story - as we knew it through the seventh hp book - is told, perfectly told. We can see, all over the film, Dumbledore's pain on Jude Law's face, his regret, his love, his agony. It is the real Dumbledore, the one I've always wanted to see on the screen: a man that has been wrong many times in his life, a man that can't forgive himself for what he did, but also a man pure of heart that constantly tries to fix where he went wrong. And that is the important thing - as Newt says at a certain point: to try. This is not the same complicated and confusing plot of the second film. This is linear, clair. This has an objective and a road to follow. It is a very political film and I loved it. There are the election of the leader of the entire wizarding community all over the world, there is the German Ministry of Magic, the French one, the Spanish one, the MACUSA, and Our Ministry of Magic, the English one, as we know it. And because of this context I can say that Mads Mikkelsen's Grindelwald is the perfect one. But I don't want to make a spoiler, so here I finished.
Characters
One of the flaws of the second fb, were the characters: the second fb introduced too many characters without giving them a story. Well, it doesn't happen here. A few main characters that we come to know as well as the original protagonists - Newt, Queenie, Tina and Jacob - and that give a plus to the plot. Lally, Theseus, Yousuf and Bunty: they are the other main characters apart from Dumbledore, Grindelwald, Credence and our group of friends. Lally is a badass teacher of Ilvermorny; Theseus, Newt's brother, is completely different from the arrogant and distant one we knew in the second film; Yousuf is, maybe, the more mysterious of the group; Bunty is a brave sweetheart. Together, they make up a perfect group. Then, there is Aberforth. Wow. I love how Richard Coyle and Jude Law brought the Albus-Aberforth relationship on the screen. Perfect. The perfect picture of their complicated brotherhood, as Jo Rowling told in the seventh hp book. Credence is "less important" compared to the first and the second film. Now that everyone knows who he is, the only thing left to do is trying to save him from Grindelwald - who seems less affectionate to him. Well, I can't stay here talking about the characters (even if it is my favorite thing to do), but I can say a thing: they are perfectly written and I love them all.
Fantastic Beasts
If the second fb has almost forgotten to put the fantastic beasts into his plot, here the fantastic beasts steal the scene. They are awesome. We see, obviously, Teddy and Pickett, but there is also a creature from the hp books that we have never seen in the films: the Blast-Ended Skrewt, a giant one. And then, a creature you'll all adore is the Quilin, one of the rarest creature of all the Wizarding World, that has a main role in the whole plot. Trust me, you can't miss the fantastic beasts at all.
The Blood Pact
This is how the second film comes to end: with the blood pact of Grindelwald and Dumbledore which seems impossible to destroy. And yes, this pact is central in this third film, until the end. Inside it there is a young and yet powerful magic, as we have never seen before.
Places
From New York to Berlin, from Great Britain to the mountain chain of Himalaya. Berlin in the early 1920s is beautiful and the magical Berlin is something sublime. And then there is Hogwarts. Our beautiful Hogwarts. I was about to sob when I saw it. Because, after all this time, after all these years, Hogwarts is still there for us. And it is true that Hogwarts will always be there, because even this time it is. And we're inside it, in the Great Hall, among the Hogwarts' students. And we need it. We deserved it. To come home. It brought us home. Again. One time and forever. Always. I did not want those Hogwarts scenes to end.
I don't know if I finished, but I'm not finished with this film. The music (guys, the music! Howard did a fabulous work with it. There are the classical fb tracks - New says goodbye to Tina, Jacob's bakery etc. - but also the classical hp tracks!)... And all the references to the hp books and film! WE CAME HOME WITH THIS FILM. WE REALLY DID. I loved every aspect of it. Every. From the start to the end. And then, the "always" reference. I adored it.
Feel free to send me asks, if you want to know anything. I'll answer as I can (if you want spoilers... Well, I'm an expert in spoilers, but also if you don't want them).

A New Normal - Theseus x Reader
A/N: Enjoy! Let me know if you have any requests for any characters :)
Word Count: 751
Warnings: None (?), really fluffy and cute <3
Tumblr media
Candles floated above your head as you sat in one of the long benches in the Great Hall, a small smile spread on your lips as you watched Jacob explain his wand to the students that surrounded him.
Lally tapped her foot anxiously as the three of you waited for Newt and Theseus. But Albus refused to start the meeting without them. You couldn't help but remind him that time was ticking. The longer you waited, the closer Grindlewald came to suceeding in his plan to rule over the world. As much as you hated to think about it, there was a chance that the Scamander brothers weren't coming back.
But the doors swung open just in time, revealing Newt cradling Teddy in his arms and Theseus with a look of shock spread across his face.
You jumped up from the table, breaking out into a run to meet them. You threw your arms around the brothers, pulling them into a tight embrace.
Growing up with the two of them, you had grown to view them as family. Being only four years younger than Theseus and four years older than Newt, you always had one of the brothers with you at Hogwarts.
Newt akwardly pat you on the back with his free hand, while Teddy swiped at your necklace in an effort to get it from your neck. Theseus leaned into the hug, burying his head into the crook of your shoulder. He was always a hugger.
As you pulled away, Theseus' hand lingered on your back. Newt had already sped away towards Jacob and Lally, eager to hear how the dinner went.
"Theseus…" You trailed off, leaning into him as you walked over to join, whispering, "Make me a promise."
He exhaled, and you continued, "Promise me you'll never go head to head with a group of Grindlewald's followers alone again?"
Theseus gave your hand a light squeeze in response, "I'll try."
Smiling up at him, you waited for Dumbledore to decide your future.
You sat between Theseus and Newt at dinner, twirling your… questionably looking soup with your spoon. Wrinkling your nose, you forced a smile on your face, "Thank you, Aberforth."
He grumbled in response, lifting a glass of butterbeer to his lips and downing it in one gulp.
Bunty gazed at Newt, infatuated, but he only stared at the photo of Tina pinned to the top of his case.
Turning towards Theseus, you sighed, "This is the most normal things have been in months."
He nodded, "It seems crazy to call this normal."
"Do you remember, when we were at Hogwarts, and I set my cauldron on fire?" You asked, and he chuckled in response, nodding.
"I remember." He said, pulling his suit sleeves down, "You caught my robes on fire, too."
You whipped your head around to face him, "I did not! That was entirely your doing."
"I didn't exactly expect for you to blow up your cauldren, Y/N." He teased, "Too much wormwood."
Playfully rolling your eyes, you sighed, shoving your bowl to the side, to which he said, "Not hungry?"
You nodded to his bowl, which was still filled to the brim with soup, "Are you?"
"Fair enough."
It was silent for a moment. Newt was speaking with Dumbledore upstairs, Bunty was tending to the Qilin, Lally was trying to talk to Aberforth, who was beyond distracted and looking intensely into a mirror.
"Theseus?"
He hummed in response, and you continued, "If we don't make it in time, and Grindlewald succeeds, what's going to happen to us?"
"I haven't really thought about it. Everything's been happening so fast, I haven't really had time." Theseus brushes a stray curl out of his eyes, "But I'd like to think that Grindlewald won't succeed. I don't think I could take another night in Erkstag."
"Don't want to see your old Manticore friend again?" You joked, "You two have quite fond memories of one another."
"I've got a feeling he won't be too happy to see me, considering I took an arm with me."
"Oh, he'll be fine." You smiled, leaning your head on his shoulder, pausing for a moment, "I don't want this night to end, Thes."
Theseus placed his head atop yours, "Me neither, but it has to. Everything has to end at some point."
You stayed silent, and he added, "But I like this kind of normal."
A small, knowing smile appeared on the both of your faces. You could get used to this.

Tina, Bunty, Jacob, Theseus - Newt and love (and me)
In some way it makes sense if we won't see much of Tina in the new film. It's not a romcom, so from the moment they decided they wanted to make this about Dumbledore and Grindelwald, they already had a love subplot and didn't need newtina anymore.
I don't want to jump to conclusions and I don't want to be one of those people who endlessly complain about the lack of Tina content, because we haven't seen the film yet, and even if she was barely in it, there still would be a lot for me to look for to! But if my ideas are true and they just didn't "need" Tina for the love storyline because of genre and plot conventions, it would still make me a bit sad, because it would mean that they reduced Tina to a function as Newt's love interest. And I'm so tired of seeing women reduced to that. (Still, we have Bunty and Eulalie, and they both look super cool! I'm also eager to learn more about Queenie and Vinda!) But what's more, I just really liked her as a character, because she has all these flaws, but deep down she just tries to do the right thing, and she cares deeply. I really would have liked to see her character development.
I know some people have the theory that Bunty is in fact Tina using polyjuice potion. While I see where this idea comes from, and while I also wish to see more of Tina, I hope this theory doesn't turn out to be true. I feel like it would make Bunty's character even more pointless, and it would be awkward and strange. I will be okay with Tina's absence if they give us a good reason for that, and apart from that I would love to see Bunty to become something more than an awkward, somewhat helpless girl in love with Newt. She needs more character traits than that.
Apart from that, after having seen the new Japanese trailer, I might be happy forever just because of the way Newt hugs Theseus. Merlin, there are so many forms of love and (*unpopular opinion*) the love between friends and siblings is not weaker or less precious than romance, and, I might add, not less interesting on screen. If you ask me, when Newt came to New York, it wasn't romance he needed most. It was friendship, and learning that he was very much a person who enjoyed to have (certain) other people around, and that they enjoyed his company likewise. I am feeling touched on a very personal level when I think about that, as well as about Newt and Theseus finally working together. What I love about these films, and have always loved about the Potter books, is they way they acknowledge friendship and the emotional bonds between family members as forms of love just as strong, maybe even stronger, than romance.

Do you think that Tina was meant to have Bunty's place in the plan?
I have heard this a lot and I won't pretend that I know what was originally in the script and what changed, but it just doesn't feel like it to me.
Bunty was introduced as Newt's assistant in CoG and we had been told since then that the character would be more present in the next movie. In terms of the actual plan, I feel that it wouldn't make sense for Tina to have Bunty's part of the plan. Theseus, who is the head of the U.K. aurors was easily noticed and got thrown to jail. Bunty's part in the plan RELIED on the fact that she was inconspicuous. She hasn't been previously involved in any situation against Grindelwald, and she isn't a ministry official, a famous author, a pureblood from an old family or a teacher in one of the biggest wizarding schools. During the first part of the plan she is only involved with muggles and is never exposed. During the second she is literally the only one who's not exposed and she's covered head to toe until she delivers the case. Could this have worked if it was Tina in her place? Maybe, but I don't think it would have worked that well.
Tina is too prominent. If Grindelwald had seen her face in a vision she would have been easily targetted. We don't see him ever having a vision about Bunty, but I think that even if he had, her part is so fragmented and quiet that he wouldn't have paid attention; not in the way he would have if he saw someone who had messed with his plans before. Another thing is that, if the planned on Tina having that plot, they could have written her using polyjuice. It would have worked better for the plot than Tina being involved in her real form and they would have sidestepped the scheduling issues during COVID. I just think that this part of the plot was always meant for Bunty.

Albus' secret network of forgers?
(or: how might function the creation of (magical) artefacts, according to the (quite confusing) film FBtSoD)
[ disclaimer: greetings, those who followed that account when I still posted essays & theories here. I am not quite back - I will post the thing about Dumbledore's boggart soon, though, despite the fact that it is... not exactly finished and satisfying. some things still could be interesting - that is why I will post it anyway. and by the way, if you are interested in the show WWDITS, you might be interested by this account: @uthseikoashx-itsnighttime. and, oh, sorry for the mistakes! 2 years later, i am still not fluent... :) ]
The fact that Bunty (Newt's assistant) must ask an actual craftperson to replicate the case suggests that a simple spell does not work. Two possible explanations may be :
the wizards can detect or feel when a product is a spell-crafted replica (...it is quite canon already)
every magical artefact has to be built by a craftperson gifted in magic and be enchanted by them (... once again, logical)
It justifies why Dundy does no use a simple spell. Furthermore, it implies that a lot of objects in the wizarding world are suffused with magic.
Nonetheless, Albus gives Newt and other characters, several times, items helping them in their respective quests: invitation cards, authorisation papers (when Newt saves Theseus (in a maze, quite ironic considering the myth)), etc. Official items, probably crafted magically to avoid... replicas, precisely. But those papers are most likely forged - how can Jacob attend to the tea party, if they are not? (or it would indicate a terrifying lack of security mesures - an absurd lack, so a logical explanation is preferable in my opinion).
Thus, I think we can infer two things:
there are wizards doing counterfeit papers, authorisations... and there are most definitely organisations in charge of forging fake documents or objects (a mafia of sorts?).
Dumbledore is in touch with one of those wizards/witches, or with one of these organisations - we can even suppose that in dark times, Dumbledore himself gathers a team of wizards/witches skilled in that kind of illegal activities (I headcanon that the Order of the Phoenix counted far more people than the main team for that very reason, even if those people were not as important as the Square Grimmault's team)
Sure, one might affirm that Albus is capable of forging those papers by himself - I don't think he would spend time on that, though. I guess that the credibility of the second point depends on how each fan sees Albus.
But it suggests two other things:
knowing that people forge false documents, instances (such as ministries) must stay alert and develop advanced methods of detection.
but in FBTSOD, Newt, Jacob... can walk in and out official buildings & meetings very easily: so, either their documents are particulary well counterfeited, either Grindelwald (or his minions) ordered the security staff to let Newt's team infiltrate the tea party and other official meetings (when Vogel announces that Grindelwald is now free of charges, for example)
So, Albus' probable secret network of forgers might not be that secret - but still quite useful, albeit not fooling Grindelwald's team - I mean, the bad guys know how the good guys look like, and Newt is quite well known - so in that situation, fake authorisations are almost... accessories (except in Newt's case, when he saves Theseus)...
Oh, besides, I interpret the fact that Grindelwald allows (supposedly) Newt's team to act as something not entirely done for the sake of his nomination as the new great leader; I tend to think that he is somehow curious of what Dumbledore is doing. But I will definitely come back to that in another post.
It's been a while since I have written - or read - any meta in the fandom; I hope this theory is still relevant, guys. And understandable. Thank you for reading :)

Thank youuu!!!!
My dearest Y/n,
Hello to you Y/n! I wanted to meet you today but unfortunately, I had some work to do with Jacob, will tell you more details about it later. But just wanted to write you a quick letter.
Y/n, the niffler I bought you had accidentally crept into my office when you were asleep, don't worry it's safe with me. Anyways, I wanted to ask you for a few songs to listen to, your music taste is just amazing, and remember we heard some muggle music back in London? Those types of music recommendations I would like! What was that called? Ruele? I don't remember but her music was nice.
I have bought a few tickets to the upcoming movie in the muggle world, Batman was it? Something, you liked it because of some guy who came to that movie so I decided on getting tickets for that, don't forget me because of him!
Also, last time we went to the movies someone was chewing loudly and you just slapped him across the face saying 'I thought it was a mosquito, sorry'' just don't do that, maybe you can just not mind the other people around at all. Just hold my hand and squeeze it as hard as possible, does that work? Awesome!
I heard that you read a new book? Please let it be a new book this time, not 'Fantastic beasts and where to find them I would like to read new books from other authors not only me darling.
After I am done with writing this, you would mostly receive a package from Bunty, who would probably come....now! Tell her to place it on the table because your desk would obviously be filled with books and papers. Open it after reading this letter, but I know you wouldn't and you would open it right now. Well, see for yourself what's inside it.
I bought you a necklace and a new set of clothes, wear them when we go to the movies. Anyways, I have to go now, talk to you later Y/n and be ready for the movie! Bye!
Your loving boyfriend,
Newt Scamander
Join the celebration!! 🥳

An Evening Visit
(Newt in New York, 2.0)
Muffled voices carry from the other side of the wooden door. Newt shifts his case to his left hand, hovering for a moment, and knocks softly.
The talking stops.
“Queenie, what?” He hears Tina say. He squeezes the handle of his case. She's right there. Just on the other side of the door. Of course she is, he chides himself impatiently. Why you came.
“It's…” Queenie’a voice trails off.
“Who? Queenie, who?”
“I'll get it.” Queenie’s light footsteps grow closer. The door swings open.
Newt looks up. Queenie’s smiling at him. That’s good right? Smiling is good. He looks down and fumbles with his case.
“Come in, come in.” Queenie steps aside and beckons him into the apartment.
“Who is…” Tina walks around the corner and into the entryway. She stops short when she sees him. “Newt.”
He looks up into her eyes and for a moment can do nothing but stare as his heart seems to try and clamber out of his chest. Her gaze widens, her teeth catching on her lip, and a smile spreads across his face.
She looks down, her lips pressed into a tight line as she tucks her hair behind her ear.
He falters. “I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to write. I meant to, but then the Ministry—and I thought I'd better leave you see, before they decided…” he trails off. He really should've written. It's not done, is it, to simply appear across the Atlantic unannounced? Merlin, he hadn't even thought about it as he’d scribbled out directions for Bunty and tucked Tina's copy of his book into the case. He should've…he should’ve checked with them, at least given them some notice…
“Oh, don't be silly, honey.” Queenie looks back at Tina, a silent conversation between sisters he couldn’t hope to understand. Her voice grows warmer than it had been at first. “We’re glad you're here.”
Newt glances hopefully at Tina, who has crossed her arms over her chest and seems to be looking at some point on the opposite side of the room. She clears her throat. “And when did you arrive in New York, Mr. Scamander?”
Newt startles. But her letters had been addressed to Newt. Why is she…her eyes finally meet his for the space of a breath. They are somehow both dark and bright, and he’s almost certain that there's a hardness in them. This is that’s a section 3-A Mr. Scamander Tina. Not Tina from the docks. Not Tina stepping into his case with eyes so enthralled that his hand had itched for a pencil and sketch paper, though he’d known he’d never do them justice.
“Just…just this evening,” he manages. Is she…is something wrong? She seems…something. Worried, or upset, or…he hasn't received a letter in over a month, which had only increased his urgency in obtaining a travel permit. To make sure she's alright. To understand why. Her hair is different. Short, and with fringe falling on her forehead. He has a sudden impulse to touch that fringe. To make her smile. Would it make her smile? It hadn’t made her smile on the docks. But it had been almost better, her expression in that moment almost a year ago.
“She's alright,” Queenie says softly. “Mostly.”
“Queenie,” Tina warns.
Newt jolts, reminded yet again that his thoughts are not private here. At least when not masked in his accent.
“I’ve gotten better at that since last year. Guess I know you,” Queenie tells him.
Newt blinks.
Queenie turns to her sister. “He's worried about you, Teen.” Newt swallows as Tina’s expression darkens ever so slightly. Merlin, how on earth is he supposed to make sense of this. “No, ‘course he is.”
Newt pulls his gaze away to find Queenie studying him. He shifts under the scrutiny, trying to reign in his thoughts. Is she ill perhaps. Or has something happened at work? Maybe he misunderstood on the docks. Maybe she didn't want him to come. He swallows, hurt and just a little angry. Oh Merlin he'd really thought—
“Oh, honey.” Newt bites his lip. “No. She’s just been outta sorts lately.”
Newt looks to Tina. “Why?” He studies the features he can see, the stubborn set of her jaw and her delicate lips and elegant chin. The hair curling about her cheeks. His mind is drawn to the newspaper clipping tucked in his pocket. He’d remembered to reverse the sticking charm and remove it from the lid of his case on the walk to the apartment. It's close isn't it, but there's something about her eyes in person that newsprint can't quite show. Life. Fire.
“You kept it.” Queenie interrupts his thoughts, her voice strangely softened, less bright.
Newt jumps.
“Don't read his mind,” Tina says. There’s something in the way she holds her arms around her, shoulders squared. Firm and impassive, or trying to be, but there’s a quiver in her chin. “You didn't have to come, you know, Mr. Scamander.”
Newt frowns, hand tightening reflexively on his case.
“No, she didn't mean it like that. I can't help it, Teen,” Queenie adds. “You're both bein’ loud.”
He swallows. “I wanted to. I very much wanted to…see you…both…again.”
Tina stares at him, arms crossed. “I thought all aurors were careerist hypocrites.”
“Er, yes,” he flushes. “About that. I didn't mean—”
“Didn't mean what Mr. Scamander?”
Newt fishes in his coat pocket, pulling out a slim volume wrapped in brown paper. “I brought you a copy. As promised.”
Tina hesitates, then takes a few steps closer and lifts it from his hands, careful that they never touch. Her palm slides across the rough surface, and for a moment he is mesmerized by watching her carefully ease off the twine and paper and remove a burnished new copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
“A bunch’a people were talkin’ about your book at work the other day, Newt.”
“Were they?”
“ ‘course they were,” Tina agrees, her posture suddenly less like that of a cornered creature. “It's—the book is amazing, Newt.”
“We’re real proud’a ya,” Queenie adds.
Newt deflates a little. “You've read it?”
Tina looks at him without speaking, her slim fingers still gripping the volume.
“I meant to come sooner, you see, only—“
Tina clears her throat. “You had other obligations.”
“Not really.” Tina stares at him, her brow furrowed. “The Ministry wouldn’t let me travel. Something about destroying the city of New York.”
Tina’s lip turns up into a smile. “Oh, they objected to that did they?”
“Rather a lot.”
She gestures to his case. “And do they know you've brought that?”
“Yes. Technically. Er—rather,” he smiles to find her looking at him, some of the weight of before lifted in her teasing, “may not have mentioned every species.”
“Just a few then?” Her eyes dance, and his chest soars rather too high to fit inside his body.
“Well…”
“I meant to ask. The entry on Pogrebins. We learned about them in training, but have you ever actually…”
She stops. “Tina?” He asks, his smile faltering.
“Teenie I told you that wasn't true, of course he doesn't think you're—I still think there's gotta be more to it than—’course you're confused how to—well if you're going to be stubborn about it.”
Newt looks between the sisters, perplexed.
“I'm gonna go make us some cocoa,” Queenie announces. Newt looks down awkwardly as she walks off, shifting his case between hands.
“You can set that down Mr. Scamander.”
“Right! Right.” He gently lowers the case to the floor, feeling strangely weightless without it.
Pickett pokes his head out of Newt’a pocket in the newfound silence and chirps with delight. “Oh. Oh, yes, Pick, that's Tina.”
Tina looks up curiously.
“He remembers you,” Newt explains, holding his hand against his coat for Pickett to climb out.
“Could—I…?” Tina holds out a hand, and Newt reaches to transfer Pickett to her, forgetting until the last moment that it will involve touch. He forces himself to remain still as her hand brushes his. Pickett climbs over happily, and Newt moves away, smiling as Tina carefully balances the bowtruckle. His hand doesn’t quite feel like skin, though, at the moment. Well, perhaps a bit like the time he’d spilled an entire vial of murtlap essence onto one foot.
“I don't…have to stay. Here, that is, I mean. I could find a room…” he sighs at his clumsiness. “I'm afraid I'm not very good at this. I don't have friends.”
Tina’s eyes find his, wide and warm and shoving his heart rate up a good few beats. “Yes,” she says softly. “Yes, you do.” She touches him arm. No, not murtlap. Dittany? No, it isn’t one burning jolt. It’s like fireworks. A stinging, sparkling, lively thing that hurts almost, but in a wonderful, exhilarating way. Newt thinks he does well not to combust.
“Here we are,” Queenie announces as she returns, passing out mugs of steaming cocoa. Tina’s hand quickly falls away.
“I meant to say. Congratulations, and all.” Tina's posture is steady as usual, her shoulders back and her chin high. But her voice wobbles. The niffler does that, when he’s trying to scare off a creature from his treasures that’s actually bigger than him.
“Er—” he thinks for a moment. Right. The book. “Thank you.”
“I should've asked.” Tina stares at Pickett. “When's the wedding?”
“Er—June. How did you hear about that?” Merlin's beard, are the newspapers in America running articles about Theseus now? He pictures several that have run in the Prophet back home, still at a loss to understand why wizards and witches take such an interest.
“We do get news on this side of the pond, Mr. Scamander,” Tina says, sharp again.
He looks at her, puzzled.
“Oh—“ Queenie says. “Oh, Teenie.” Suddenly she’s smiling between the two of them.
“What?” Tina snaps at her sister. “Queenie, will you just say whatever it is.”
“Ask him.”
The sisters stare at each other for a moment. “Ask him what.”
“You know.”
“Please don’t—” Newt cuts off his own frustrated voice. Ask him what? He feels cut out of some secret in most conversations, but this one—
“Sorry.” Queenie frowns at him, tilting her head.
Tina gathers herself up. “Leta didn’t come with you?”
“Leta? No, why would she?”
“I just thought, with the wedding’n all.”
“But the wedding’s in England. Mother is beside herself about it. Her oldest son and a June wedding at the manor. Absolutely insisted I agree when Theseus asked me to be best man, and—” he realizes he's rambling and stops.
“You—” Tina squeaks.
“I mentioned him in my letters. Theseus. Did I not?” That must be the confusion. “My older brother, Theseus. He’s an auror, head auror actually. Insufferable, really. Not that aurors are—Not that you are—“
Tina stares at him. Her eyes are a little wild. He could touch her fringe couldn't he? Just a little brush, to get it out of her eyes.
“No, Sweetie. He’s not upset about it. Not like that.”
Newt glances at Queenie and swallows heavily.
Tina takes a step closer. “You’re not marrying Leta?” Her voice is nervy, grounded with warmth.
He shivers. He's missed it. Imagining her voicing her own letters hadn't been the same. “What?”
“The magazine, it said—“ Tina’s voice trails off. “Oh. Newt I'm so sorry.”
“Whatever for?”
“You and Leta—”
“Oh, no that's...” Newt shakes his head, shifting through his jumbled feelings on the matter. He'd been hurt at first, but more by the way they’d already grown apart than  any disappointments more tender. “I used to think I—once, I might've—I haven't thought of her in that way in a long time. Especially now I've—” met you he wants to say.
Queenie beams at him, and now that he's finally caught some thread of Tina's thoughts, the look bolsters him.
“You've thought I was engaged?”
Tina nods. “When I saw the article last month…well, you and Queenie’d talked about her, and you have that picture in your case…”
“You stopped writing back a month ago.”
Tina blinks. Her hand lingers at the end of her hair, her teeth digging into her lip. “Yeah.”
“I thought I must've annoyed you—”
“You could never—not like that. I—”
Newt’s vaguely aware of Queenie watching them, and for half a second he wonders if she'll explain. But no, he thinks, he wants them to do this on their own. Understand each other. “I've missed your letters.”
“You have?”
“I don't think I've checked for owls so often. Well. Perhaps when I was studying their routes in the Scottish Highlands but that was—why did you stop?”
“After I read the article I didn't think it was appropriate for me to—for a young woman to be writing—not one who wanted to—when you were writing for a different reason—”
“Entirely appropriate. I mean. Inappropriate. That is. It would've been appropriate, for how I feel about you. Er. It is appropriate.”
Newt jumps at a soft, indignant squawk. “Pickett, I'm sorry!” Tina rebalances him, a flush spreading over her cheeks as she levels her hand out again.
“Tina could I…” he steps closer, her gaze settling on him.
He gulps as she lifts Pickett up to crawl back into his pocket, her hand pressing into his chest. Still not combusting. That's good, then. Her palm flattens against his chest. His breath hitches. “Newt,” she whispers. “Look at me.”
Slowly, he lifts his head. She smiles at him, and he searches her eyes for a moment, sighing with relief.
Cautiously, he brings his hand up to cover hers, stroking his thumb across the back as her fingers curl into his chest. Merlin, her eyes are breathtaking. “You were asking me something.”
“Yes, right, I was. Might I—” He wets his lips and her eyes follow the movement. “That is, would you mind. No that’s not right. Would you—that is, may I kiss you?” She smiles. Yes, he thinks, falling into her eyes, salamanders.
“Yes,” she whispers.
“It's perfectly alright if not, I—yes?”
“Please.”
They stare at each other for a moment, and then his eyes fall shut and he leans into her. The kiss is a short, fumbling, inelegant, perfect thing. Energy fizzles through Newt’s skin. He pulls back to see her smiling softly, her fingers brushing hair from his forehead. He sighs and gives in to the urge to run his fingertips along her jaw, feeling with wonder that she leans into the touch.
Queenie, he realizes, must have slipped away to a different room.
A loud, gruff snort from the ground beside them startles them both. “Oh that'll be Horatia. She's probably hungry.”
“Do I wanna ask what—”
“Just a hippogriff I'm looking after for Mum. She bent a wing and can't keep up with the herd.”
“You brought a hippogriff.”
“Well, yes. Just one. Well not quite. Two, I think. Yes, two definitely.” It’s very hard to think with Tina’s fingers dancing across his cheek.
She hesitates for a moment, then returns his smile with a grin.
The pads of her fingers graze his neck. He fights the urge to purr like a satisfied beast.
“Would you like to come meet her?” Newt considers it for a moment, then reaches to tuck her hair behind her ear, tracing its shape and shivering when she takes in a sharp breath. “She's magnificent.”
“I’d love to.”
Newt smiles, then spins to the case, tugging her with him. They're pressed close together as he opens the clasps, and Newt cannot resist reaching for another peck. Her hand grips his, her lips soft and pliant and her gasp sending a jolt of energy up his spine.
“I’m glad you came Mr. Scamander.” Queenie calls from the next room.
They freeze, Newt’s blush spreading quickly across his face. Tina kisses his forehead, her fingers threaded lightly into his hair, and okay, he might still combust.
“The case?”
“Yes, right. The case.” Newt agrees, squeezing her hand, and turns to climb down.
“Newt.”
He stops, looking back at her.
“I’m sorry.”
He tilts his head, confused. “Whatever for?”
She looks at her hands, tangled up with his. “I should’ve trusted you. I should’ve—“
He doesn’t know what to say, other than it cannot possibly be her fault. “I was a bit surprised when I received your first letter. Not because—but I thought you may not write to me. That’s what people have always done, you see. Say they want to. And then—“
She listens carefully, eyes wide.
“You’re always surprising me.”
“Who wouldn’t write back to you?”
Newt huffs out a rough, short sound, not quite a laugh.
“Except me,” Tina concludes.
“No, no, that’s not at all what I meant,” he rushes to explain, frustrated with himself. “You—you’re—I thought that maybe you didn’t want to, and knowing that you did is—“ He threads their fingers together. “Don’t be sorry. I’m happy.”
Tina smiles. “So am I,” she whispers roughly. He thinks he’ll have to try again, to sketch her right. Maybe tomorrow.

my non-spoiler review of fantastic beasts: the secrets of dumbledore - and why you all should watch it
fantastic beasts: the secrets of dumbledore is just amazing.

Thank you for the attention you showered on Bunty. I've run into so many viewer complaints that "oh the movie was overstuffed with irrelevant characters, the plot would work without Bunty/Yusuf/Theseus etc" but as you said all these characters are intentionally added to act as foils and drive home themes. While you could argue that yes, the actual plots in the FB series can get kind of confusing and handwave-y, they are always very very clear in terms of underlying emotional themes.
I get the criticism about the movie being overstuffed. The characters are not irrelevant, but they needed more time to develop. From BTS of SoD we've glimpsed 3 deleted scenes and all 3 would have developed characters and created significantly smoother transitions for their decisions.
Then again many of the fans who complain about lacking development wanted more beasts than we got in CoG. I mean, I like seeing Newt around creatures as much as the next person and seeing his little dance as he tried to handle creatures that are not friendly no matter what he does was different to what we've seen before. But at the same time it was comic relief and a direct answer to those who wanted more beasts. To me that was too much screen-time that could have been used more productively. Frankly, I don't get why the production and WB don't just decide to let the movies hit 3 hours. The story needs it and it's not like the audience wouldn't be down for it.
Back to the writing, I do believe that all the characters in SoD develop in smaller or bigger ways, but as you said they act as foils and drive home themes. Contrary to popular belief, that's not a bad think. It gives us a lot of nuance. The emotional impact SoD had on me was more than I've experienced with any HP movie and in par with the feelings that some of my favorite parts of the books caused me.
It's also important to keep in mind that these aren't standalones. Newt, Jacob, Tina, Queenie and Credence had gotten much more development than Dumbledore in the previous movies. In CoG, Leta and Yusuf too were developed more than Albus. It's natural that they would take a bit of a backseat at some point so that he can slowly turn into the person he is by the time the final duel happens. HP was told in 7 books. Let's recall that all the heavy-lifting for Voldemort, Snape and Dumbledore's stories was done in the last 3 books. Until then they hadn't developed THAT much if you think about it, but they had in small ways and they were never static.
As for the plot being confusing, I think that remains to be seen. HP had the benefit of a lot of space to develop. Moreover, the majority of the books had a very clear structure: Each showed the span of a school-year and ended up with a confrontation (usually with Voldemort) while the main plot focused on a whodunit-kind of theme: Who wants the Philosopher's Stone? Who opened the Chamber of Secrets? Why is the Dark' Lord's returning sevant? Who put Harry's name in the Goblet of Fire? This structure breaks with OoTP, which is when the war unoficially starts.
FB opens up the Wizarding World. The characters are not confined in limited locations and building towards the Global Wizarding War necessitates shifts between different countries and the wizards living there that are bound to be more confusing. The first movie was clear-cut. The second has some loose threads that could amount to nothing... or they could be important. Not knowing until the moment you know is part of watching an on-going series. In SoD, I think that the plot is consciously written in a way that ultimately addresses certain machiavellian aspects that Dumbledore's plans tend to have. It was a bit confusing the first time I watched because there was a lot to process, but upon the rewatch so many things fall into place and make sense. I still think this movie will age well.

I think some people might have feared that he'd be a bit marginalized. You know, once you introduce these two big personalities, it becomes about them. I'm curious how Newt fits in.
REDMAYNE: I feel like Newt's skillset is quite unique, and I don't just mean with beasts, I mean with empathy. His capacity to see broken people and to reach out to broken people is a skillset which is pretty unique. And it's one of the things that Dumbledore has always, since he was a kid, seen in Newt. And the complexity of … if it is building to a showdown between these two, [Jo has] created a scenario that's not as simple as the two can just face off. And actually, Dumbledore needs to recruit the skillset of Newt to help.
Has he reached Gilderoy Lockhart--
REDMAYNE: Oh, yeah. So-- and there was a scene that was, because his book has come out at the beginning, it was him trying to deal with fame, basically. [Laughs] With all these sort of, like, screaming girls. Which he was totally struggling with. That scene didn't end up in the script, but you definitely get a sense that he has … he has a line that he's not that thrilled with the fact that the response has been so huge, because it's had ramifications on how wizards are treating creatures.
Can I just ask about the relationship side of Newt's life? Because obviously he and Tina are going to get married one day. And then there's Leta Lestrange, and now there's Bunty. It's a love quadrangle. I don't quite know what's -- what is it with Newt? What's his secret with the ladies?
REDMAYNE:  Firstly, I think it's his unawareness. And secondly, I think it's his passion. Like, I always find that when someone is passionate about anything, it's always an attractive quality. And particularly when it's not in need of approval. I think that he has a very large heart. I think he, as we were talking before, I think he has great empathy, yeah.
How much input do you have on the story level with Jo? Are you able to sit down with her before she starts writing and be, like, these are the things that are coming the pike? Or--
REDMAYNE:  No. In the sense that, I mean, I got the script. I got an early draft of the scrip and was then asked by David and, you know, for input in it. I think she is the most formidable mind and imagination, frankly, I wouldn't want to interfere in that creativity. But what is extraordinary is that she allows you ownership of the characters once they're there. And so, if you go within a scene that's written, going, “oh, maybe he would do this here or can I add this?” Then, she's incredibly free at allowing that and playing within that. And so it definitely feels like one of the most creative sets I've ever been on at allowing us freedom to investigate and--
How does that work? Since Jo's not on set every day, is it a case of she just lets you get on with it and, obviously, you work with David Yates to create those fluctuations?
REDMAYNE:  Yeah.
Or is it you kind of get it signed off?
REDMAYNE:  So I read the script, like I did on the last film, and there are various set piece aspects and trying to … like, there's a tracking scene in the film in which some of, you know, Newt's -- those qualities that he had out in the field are sort of put to the test, and it was written by Jo. But then, how you manifest that physically; I basically had a week or two working with the dancer who I'd worked with before. And we investigated all the different ways, and spoke to trackers and stuff … that's one thing, doing it for real, but actually, you're in the wizarding world. So do the tracks become airborne? And what can you do with the wand to release things? So that part, I go off and investigate things. I then show them to David. David will then discuss them with Jo. And then, if there are little plot things or ideas, yeah. It's normally through David. But Jo has been to set a few times.
