Look, SY wife-beaming everyone is amazing and all but how about him just Mom-beaming everyone. I don't mean both, I mean just becoming a mother figure to random people/people he barely knows, no romantic feelings (at least in most cases).

been thinking about the end of Loki and honestly I hope he never gets a happy ending. my brother's most annoyingly correct take on the MCU/Star Wars lately is that there's too much impermanence; nobody's death or sacrifice means anything because plot bs excuses them from their suffering and makes everything alright again. I don't want that to happen to Loki. I want him to have the Tech effect where when I think about him, I get a sad ache in my chest. I want his sacrifice, his suffering, his loss of the life he wanted to have, to really mean something. yes, both he and Mobius will be miserable, maybe forever. probably forever. but how lovely is it to know that Loki was willing to endure that pain for the people he loved, for the people in all the timelines who weren't going to get any life at all, and that no plot bs excuse is going to take that noble act away from him just to make me feel less unsettled. it's bittersweet, maybe more bitter than sweet, but it tastes pretty good that way.

i think anyone can have whatever The Passenger headcanons and takes they want because no matter what, they will never be more unpopular or out-of-the-box than jack stanley's interpretation of his own work

jack stanley, who WROTE THE SCREENPLAY, has said that he did not intend for any queer subtext in The Passenger and um. that has not stopped us from doing whatever we want lmao
