Super niche content here—I’ve been writing another Théodred story, this one set in his adulthood where we can see him interact with grown up Éomer. And without really thinking about it, I seem to have them both calling each other “cousin” repeatedly in their conversations, which I have belatedly realized makes them sound like these two:

It wasn’t on purpose and these two sets of people just could not be more different (to say nothing of how absurdly different LOTR and The Bear are as media properties), but I’m sure that’s why the realization made me laugh.
