Is your computer glitching, maybe not running as fast as it once was? Have you found weird files and things uninstalled without your consent? You might have gotten Technus 2.0! Are you entitled to financial compensation? Probably not since it's a ghost-
Was talking in a server and was helping someone figure out the layers of Technus' 2.0 design and ended up just finishing the doodle lol. No computers were harmed in the making of this art.

Oh oh, almost forgot to post them! A bunch of ballpoint sketches that we did on our sketchbook while watching Danny Phantom for the first time. We... we like a lot the character designs from this show.
[Oh, and a lot more of our Danny Phantom fanarts: Here’s our tag]

poly Skultech Angst
I settled on my selfship being poly Technus x Skulker x Finny and my first thought that pops into my head ship related is angst >:)
Just What would a ghost who took on a human lover do when they eventually die As the passage of time starts to overtake your lover, you and your other partner stay the same. Their lustrous hair begins to gray while yours remains the same ethereal white. Your partner's strength deteriorates as their body ages while you're as spry as ever. For once in your afterlife you feel helpless as all you can do is stay by their side and help make their final years just a little easier. Technus doing tech repairs on all of the appliances, siphoning electricity from the power grid so their human lover doesn't have to worry about paying the power bill anymore. If they need health related devices like a pacemaker Technus makes damn sure there's no fault in it. Skulker piling his prized pelts that once adorned his walls onto their sleeping body, wanting them to be warm and comfortable. Skulker going off on hunt after hunt of rare creatures or artifacts, anything that might delay the inevitable. Neither know how to process the fact that their human will pass away. Both are no strangers to death, Skulker has killed many a creature after all. It's different when it's someone you care so much about. They never thought they'd need to go through this in their afterlives, they were far past mortality after all as were all of the allies and friends they had made. With Skulker and Technus it was just a matter of how long they'd choose to be in each other's lives, there was no such concept of until death do us part. With the human...it was a grim reality they'd need to face sooner or later. A selfish part of them hopes that when they pass they'll become a ghost. Their death would have just been a small footnote in their relationship. Hell, maybe their funeral would be a fun party to which they could invite all of the Ghost Zone. They could make showing their lover the ropes of the afterlife and life in the Ghost Zone a romantic endeavor! They could lovingly hold their hand as they worked them controlling and channeling their newfound abilities. A date night under the Ghost Zone's vast skies would be amazing as they taught them how to float and soar. But they knew it wasn't likely. Ghosts formed normally after violent or extremely emotional deaths. They hardly formed when one passes on in peace, surrounded by loved ones.

No, but you don't understand, Technus is so fucking funny, and without even trying. Like, imagine telling somebody about his whole deal, it'd be a trainwreck lmao.
"So there's this ghost who can control all kinds of technology."
"Okay."
"He looks like an off brand cosplay of Nikola Tesla and can and will villain monologue you to death."
"Yeah, okay, continue."
"One of his plans of world domination was fully dependant on making his favourite enemies-to-lovers ship canon."
"I'm sorry, what."
The most outrageous thing, tho! The thing that drives me up the wall!! Is that his convoluted plans work like clockwork!!! If Sam wasn't an MVP that she is, then Technus' plan to take over the internet by playing a fucking videogame would have been successful. Combining Technus' technology and Skulker's mastery with weapons was a real pro gamer move, and they did almost beat Danny's ass in under 5 minutes. His plan to distract both Danny and Valerie by matchmaking them was stupid as fuck and yet it fucking worked!! How the fuck did it work.
His downfalls are literally 1) his arrogance, and 2) simple dumb bad luck. The reason why he and Skulker failed was because they both were pretentious fucks and were too prideful to cooperate with each other properly despite literally sharing a body. And if Danny and Valerie were a little less afraid of the other getting hurt, he'd have succeeded there, like, for real-real.
His failings more often than not are really just unlucky coincidencies. What a loser lmao.

Bring Me Home, Chapter 2 Part 3
A little shorter this week. I had my graduation ceremony over the weekend and the opportunity to hang out with my sister-in-law for the first time in a few months! (She and my brother moved states a few months back.) If you scroll down a bit, you'll be able to see how I decorated my graduation cap! I love how it turned out.
But you don't care about that. It's Wednesday! Time for a WIP Wednesday segment!
Story Summary: Tim and Danny are both neglected by parents who care more about their work than their families. They deal with this by spending too much time online and find each other playing MMORPGs. They keep up their friendship as Tim becomes Robin and Danny becomes Phantom and don't bother keeping secrets from each other.
First, Previous
Word Count: 1k
----------
Unable to get Tim’s attention, Conner asked, “Who’s Technus?”
Danny shrugged. “One of my rogues. Tuck thinks he’s the ghost of Nikolai Tesla. He’s interested in controlling all technology and will make himself a giant mechasuit cannibalized from any electronic he can find in, like, a half mile radius. Super annoying.”
Tim hummed. “You didn’t tell me about him being Nikolai Tesla.”
“It’s a new hypothesis of Tuck’s. He’s been trying to research all the ghosts that come through as part of our profiles on them. That involves trying to figure out who they might’ve been in life. We’re hoping it’ll help me deescalate confrontations to cut back on property damage. Thanks to my parents talking about how evil all ghosts are, no one trusts Phantom and I get blamed for everything.”
Tim reached out and squeezed Danny’s shoulder. Practically everything Danny ever said about his parents made him like them less. To change the subject before he learned something else that’d make him want to attack Jack and Maddie while they were under the same roof, he asked, “So why does ectoplasm harm electronics anyway?”
Danny seemed to lean into his touch. “Well, ectoplasm is complicated. It is generated in this dimension but doesn’t really belong here. It comes about through death and leads the way to the Ghost Zone. At least… that’s the hypothesis I think is the most likely. I’ve only really been studying it for a few months since my own accident, though.” He shook his head. “Anyway! When it interacts with things on Earth that aren’t trying to get to the Zone, things get weird. Especially with non-sentient things that can’t will the ectoplasm to act in a specific way. Even animals can exert some control over ectoplasm. But electronics can’t.”
It was only a few minutes more before Danny had completely disassembled the phone. He then grabbed another pipette and adjusted the volume and added ectoplasm to certain pieces. Then took a third size and did it all over again.
“How on earth did you find out how much to add?” asked Bart. “You’re changing quantities constantly.”
“Trial and error. Long and tedious trial and error. We tried dipping sections in the ectoplasm to start, but that generally fried the tech and mutated its function. Wires do do best with submersion, though. No more than a second or two for small ones. Even after we stopped submersion, we started by adding way too much—spreading it over the entire chip. But that also didn’t work. Realized just half a microliter applied to the connections was best. The camera, speaker, and microphone need more. Those get ten microliters apiece. And we just kept trying different amounts until we had something that worked. We ruined four phones before we started testing each component individually.”
Conner let out a low whistle. “Well we’re glad you have. Thanks for helping with this.”
“Of course. Anything for Tim.”
Tim’s face heated as Cassie laughed. “Yeah, our Tim has a way of winning people over, doesn’t he?”
“I think I won him over, actually.” Danny hung the pipette back up on the holder. “All right, now just to put this baby back together. Who’s hungry?”
“Me!” called Bart. “It’s been ages since we’ve last eaten.”
“You’ve got an accelerated metabolism, right? We’ll stop by a store and get some extra stuff if you need anything overnight or tomorrow.”
“I like you,” said Bart. “You should come with us when we leave. Join our team.”
Tim buried his face in his hands, did none of his teammates know the definition of subtlety? Offering Danny a place with the Teen Titans or Young Justice was the first thing he tried.
“Thanks for the offer, but as I’ve told Tim, I can’t leave Amity. No one else is capable of responding to ghost threats.”
Conner shook his head. “Looks like your parents have it under control.”
Danny laughed. “Oh hell no. They’ve got a lot of inventions and most of them do something. But it’s not always what they expect them to do. And dad’s aim is terrible.” As he spoke, he continued to reassemble Tim’s phone.
Tim couldn’t help but admire how expertly Danny’s fingers moved over the pieces. And before he knew it, Danny was handing the phone back to him.
“Should work now. Turn it on and double check.”
Tim took it and held the power button until the WE logo appeared. Sure enough, once the screen loaded, so did a dozen missed phone calls and even more missed texts.
Bruce, Dick, and Barbara had all attempted contact multiple times. Even Alfred had called once. He winced and immediately called Bruce back.
“Hey, B,” he said as soon as the call connected. “We’re all fine. Just crossed an area that messed with our tech.”
“How did it mess with your tech?” Bruce demanded.
“It’s normal in this area. But I’ve a local friend and he fixed my phone. He’ll take care of Conner’s, Cassie’s, and Bart’s after we grab some dinner. So if anyone else is worried, tell them we’re fine and they can call me in the meantime if they have questions.” Tim made sure to use civilian names so Bruce would know they were no longer in costume.
“Who is this ‘friend’?” asked Bruce.
“God, B, it’s fine. I’ve known him for years. We game online together when we can. Have since we were kids.”
“Hn.” Why was it so much harder to read Bruce over the phone than in person? It was so annoying. “I see. Where are you currently?”
“We’re in Illinois. Will probably stay here a day or two with Danny and his parents. And then we’ll come home and share everything about our trip.” Aka, submit an official report about the outcome of their mission.
“Very well. I expect to know all the details. And I want twice daily check-ins until you’re home.”
“Fine, fine. Will do. Bye, B.” Before Bruce could demand anything else, Tim hung up on him. Next he shot texts to Dick, Alfred, and Barbara assuring them he was fine and his phone was working again. Replies came instantly and he ignored them all. “All right, that’s done. Let’s go eat.”

I think this is the first time I've had an actual scene break to stop the segment at. I usually just go until I see a change in the conversation, but I've got my <hr> marker at this point and there's gonna be a scene change! (So I won't have to repeat a paragraph or two next time I post.)
You get a different explanation for ectoplasm in this fic! Wasn't planning on that, but it happened and I like it.
Hope you enjoyed.

Chapters: 1/? Fandom: Danny Phantom Rating: General Audiences Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: Danny Fenton/Tucker Foley, Jack Fenton/Maddie Fenton, Danny Fenton & Jazz Fenton & Maddie Fenton & Jack Fenton, Danny Fenton & Sam Manson Characters: Danny Fenton, Tucker Foley, Sam Manson, Jazz Fenton, Jack Fenton, Maddie Fenton, Valerie Gray, Wes Weston, Dash Baxter, Kwan (Danny Phantom), Nicolai Technus, OCs, Vlad Masters Additional Tags: God has cursed me for my hubris and my work is never done, The GIW are stupid, Fentons are Geniuses, Danny Pantom, Trans Male Character, Trans Female Character, to be added - Freeform Summary:
It was an average day in Amity Park. Then Technus was drawn to something the GIW shouldn't've been transporting through a city full of civilians to their base. Then things became somewhat above average in Amity Park.
It is a standard day in Amity Park Minnesota.  Birds are chirping, their song joined by will-o the wisps who speak only in music and color; children play in the park with friends, family, and pets that never left them, even if they did turn green; adults walked around small craters in sidewalks or avoided driving on roads not yet repaired on their ways to and from their many destinations.  Nicolai Technus is flying toward an 18 wheeler bearing the mark of the Ghost Interception Wing, drawn in by the powerful and complex piece of technology that it contained.  A girl in black and red flew a hoverboard loaded up with weapons to demonstrate their effectiveness on their maker, as thanks for grafting the suit to her.  A girl in white and black flew toward the ghost on her hoverboard with a shield projector and a Fenton Thermos™ ready to protect Technus from his obsessive tendencies and the ghost hunters unconcerned with his safety.
Shots fly from ecto-pistols and Sam wonders what the GIW could possibly be driving through the city that'd tempt Technus to ignore the dangers presented to him, and why she hadn't just gone to watch Danny destroy Tucker in bowling.  Sam flew faster, a trail of violet streaking behind her as she pushed her board to its limits to keep up with Technus and the now speed limit breaking truck fleeing him.  A bolt of lightning flew from Technus' hand and the crate doors on the back of the truck flew open, revealing something so brilliant green that Sam wondered if her experimental suit was going to be enough to protect her from the radiation it was giving off.  Before she could put up her shield, Sam watched with terror that had no time to rise as the truck hit a pothole, bounced, and one of the agents now trading fire with Technus tripped, fell back, and shot the object of Technus' hyperfocus.  The world became nothing but green and pain.
"You, Danny Fenton, are cheating," Tucker declared with the absolute certainty that only a clown could muster.  Danny rolled his eyes and rolled the ball down the alley toward the pins and pumped his fists when he got yet another strike.  "Five strikes in a row - you're using telekinesis or something."  Danny snorted and stepped aside for Tucker to give it a shot.  "Ghostly telekinesis to win bowling."
"Yeah, I just learned how to use telekinesis to beat you in something I've been beating everyone at for years.  Never to like, grab a remote or toss Young Blood around with, just bowling."  Tucker made his swing and Danny patted his shoulder.  "You keep thinking that."  Danny shook his head while Tucker hit some of the pins. "Just like Sam is cheating in videogames to beat us."
"It's biphobic, what you're doing, really."
"Is it?"
"I'm being thoroughly inconvenienced, therefore-" Danny sealed Tucker's lips with his own and snickered at the expression he saw when he pulled back to grab his bowling ball. "Rude, but that's really just the only good way to shut me up."
"It's so effective." Danny shook his head, reared his hand back and the ball flew from his fingers as green light washed over the building and the force of power releasing itself into the material world slammed into his core like a tidal wave, knocking Danny to the ground before it started shaking. Glass shattered, the walls splintered, and Tucker picked him up off of the ground. They ran for a shadowed corner and Danny pulled on the light and shadows in his center, letting it wash over him slowly so that no one would notice him shifting away from the physical into the in-between and Tucker activated his suit. "Orange Spandex looks horrible on you."
"Good thing it's not spandex then, huh? If you were a little taller, I could've worn your back up one instead of Sam." The material covered Tucker's regular clothes and he pulled the hood over his head, running toward the exit while Danny flew above the building, hopping on his hoverboard and pulling out his phone. "Call Sam." The phone synced to his hood rang and rang and rang. Tucker got on his hoverboard and rose above the building as the call went to voicemail. "No, no no, please no." The green light that near outshone the sun was coming from where the world was shaking hardest. "Track GPS on Sam's board." In front of him, the visor of his hood showed him coordinates and he flew forward. "Please, gods, no."
Jack Fenton drove what some would call a tank through what others might call a warzone.  The city hadn't looked this bad since Pariah Dark had invaded, and at least then he'dd seen ghosts and humans alike fighting off the forces of the mad ghost bent on global domination.  Now he drove over a road that had been torn apart by a shockwave around buildings that had fallen over each other and themselves, the air saturated with ectoplasmic radiation and yet nothing compared to the reading he was driving toward.  And there was nothing, not a soul, living or dead, that he could see anywhere.  He kept his eyes on what used to be a street, however, so he didn't have to focus on that.
Maddie Fenton, however, was their lookout in case of any hostiles coming at them.  And she wished dearly that she wasn't.  She saw exactly what all the ectoplasmic radiation was doing in those buildings that had fallen over, could see transparent white and green and blue figures flickering into existence before fading out of view like a signal that the Earth struggled to receive.  Amity Park's ghost population hadn't increased so dramatically since the Poindexter incident in the 50s, and that was minuscule to what she was seeing now.
With a familiar viridian light surrounding her, Valerie Gray pulled herself up from a pile of rubble, aching all over her body in a way that she never had before in her entire life.  When she looked down at her hands, her suit was broken apart in chunks, the metal burned away in places, and her skin was an alien navy blue.  She screamed, and her arm vanished from sight, and someone groaned nearby.  She waved her hand around, biting back further shouts while hiding behind a block of concrete.  Trying to focus through the throbbing pain in her head, the sandpaper dryness in her throat, the rattling shake in her bones, was next to impossible.  Valerie had done more than the impossible before.  She focused on her blasters, and her hand came back into view, a pistol sized barrel building itself on her wrist.  She whirled it around the rubble to aim at whatever was approaching her and sucked in a gasp that left her coughing.  The truck was in ruins, scattered everywhere, the GIW idiots scattered on the ground either riddled with metal and red, or with suits black as night instead of the eye-burning white they dedicated themselves to, skin shades of blue and green, and above them, beyond them, was a mass of ectoplasm shifting from a pyramid to a sphere to a cube, never staying one shape for longer than an instant and yet visibly all of them at once.  A portal, like the one in the Fentons' basement that she'd gone through before but this one was unrestrained, wild, terrifying and beautiful in an alien way.  She took a step forward, and pain raced up her foot and to every inch of her body, black spots dotting her vision.  The last thing Valerie saw before everything went dark was a shock of white hair and a golden hoverboard.
It was an average day in Amity Park Minnesota.  It will not be average for a good long time.  All is as it should be.

What do you have as far as Skultech goes? For the headcanon thing?
Realistic: Technus had the concept of Skulktech in the works way before the events of Dan Phantom happening. The moment Skulker began visiting him regularly for tune-ups, repairs and likely just to hang out; Technus was scribbling away at his blueprints for his next greatest creation. It’s kind of the reason why their full title is called Skulktech 9.9 as with Skulker enjoying upgrades and Technus being the technomanic he is: this project went through a lot of trial and error until they successfully fused together in the mechanized suit/body. Also, Skulker lost a bet too because he thought the tenth attempt would be the successful one in their complete core fusion. So, Technus got to pick where to test drive their new body as part of that bet much to Skulker’s annoyance.
While it may not be realistic it is hilarious: They constantly have an argument over which tv show to watch or places to visit if they’re in the mood to spook. More with the tv shows since Skulker wants to watch the equivalent of National Geographic in the DP universe while Technus wants to watch documentaries on technological genius and brag how their intellect can’t measure up to his for the next half hour. Surprisingly, they seem to always agree upon watching romantic comedies or hilariously bad horror or thriller movies.
Heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends: A big reason behind the concept of Skulktech being put into development was after Skulker’s encounter with Dan for the first time. After taking immense enjoyment out of tearing Skulker’s tiny blobby body parts, Dan got bored and left him to melt away from existence. Little did he know that Technus was trailing them and was able to save/stabilize Skulker in one of his contraptions until he figured out a better way to sustain Skulk’s life force indefinitely. And the only option that could give him the best results was with the Skulktech project. So, Technus basically saved Skulker from disappearing from existence by sharing his core with Skulker’s in order to stabilize him at the cost of his own autonomy. If either of them leaves the suit, they will both die again here. Course, I don’t think Technus regretted this decision in the end. He always enjoyed Skulker’s company and the same goes for Skulker. Also they are hella stronger together once they are fully upgraded and fuse completely together after attempt 9.9.
Unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own: They’re gay; keep scrolling jk.Other than the obvious, Skulktech upgraded their hacking protection system to prevent further interference from Tucker’s PDA after their encounter with Phantom gang in the past. Another concept is that Skulktech 9.9 alongside Bullet have a great alliance and relationship due to their shared hatred for Dan Phantom. They also look after/train Dani Phantom as they realize she’s the best counter against Dan they could ever have in the bad future.
