Could you do either General Arcturus from Ninjago, because there feels like there's no art of him on this website, or of Clancee and Pythor kissing or something? It's one of my favourite ships (which I dub Clancthor or maybe even Outcastshipping) and I would love to see some else draw it!

In canon, I believe the serpentine were winning before the magic flutes came out, I'm absolutely going to change that, probably to a situation were the serpentine were very much not winning, but still holding out quite well, effectively wearing the Elemental Alliance down to the point were, devastated as they were, they stood a chance at turning things around- I may also change the Alliance's intentions surrounding the meeting with Arcturus, instead of making peace, as in canon, it was genuinely intended to be an ambush. If Arcturus hadn't turned on them, his life would've been ended.

Just a Little Something I Noticed - With Fire at His Right and Ice to His Left - Ninjago

In the scene from the first picture, Strength of the Earth and the Nunchucks of Lightning were actively used in battle while the final image Zane sees of the Green Ninja, before his dream wakes him up, is the first image shown - Fire at Lloyd's right hand, The Falcon (which represents Zane/Ice) at Lloyd's left hand.

In the scene from the second picture, Lloyd made the decision to sneak aboard the rocket so as to be able to keep the Overlord from getting the Golden Weapons. Kai and Zane immediately follow after Lloyd and boards the rocket. Cole and Jay on the other hand immediately reject Lloyd's idea and call it crazy. Lloyd ends up having to convince them and remind the two of their group promises to stay together in order to get them to climb aboard the rocket. While Lloyd is trying to get Cole and Jay to join the mission, Kai and Zane stand patiently behind Lloyd, their placement putting Kai at Lloyd's right hand and Zane at Lloyd's left hand.

I just wanted to post something else before I go to sleep. Us Ninjago fans should start an ironic fandom around Arcturus and start ironically shipping him with Chope and over time people will start unironically loving him and Chopeturus and start asking the writers to put him back into the show.

Someone please draw my OC (This Includes My Headcanon #1)

My OC's name is Arcturus, but he prefers being called Arc.

He has ice-blue-white wings, a night fury tail that is also ice-blue-white, ice-blue-white ears, and deep ice-blue blue eyes. He has dull dark gray horns that are somewhere between Oni horns and Dragon horns. His hands are clawish (Like his hands look normal but they have all the claw abilities and all). Otherwise, he looks human with white hair, wearing white stuff because somewhere along his bloodline there's an Ice dragon.

So this is an AU where there are more Oni-Dragon-Human hybrids, but the FSM fam is one of a kind, they're also Elementals but they stay low profile... But the ninja-elemental clan has no qualms about taking in orphans or runaways or rescuing kids that are mistreated (kidnapping in extreme cases, like abuse), no exceptions, all species. Including Dragoni pups.

in this AU, Some Dragoni go through this thing called the Oni phase- where their Oni blood controls them, and they are more aggressive in short bursts for some time, the length of time and when in a Dragoni's life -or if it even happens to them- varies from Dragoni to Dragoni.

Arc's father, Azymondias (I stole that from the Dragon Pince, sue me) looks just like him but with bigger wings, those claws-talon things at the wing joint like some dragons, Oni horns, a spiked tail, darker blue eyes, silver-blue scales that run down from his hair in a straight line to between his eyebrows, Oni fangs, and he's really big.

Arc has two older brothers, Adam, six years older than him, who is completely their father's spitting image except he has dragon horns and teeth, and a rare Oni tail.

His other brother is Asher four years older than him, who looks exactly like Arc except his scales are brown his eyes are purple (Oni trait) and he has Oni horns.

When Arc was born was around the time Azym went into the Oni phase. thanks to this, he horridly abused his youngest son, Arcturus, while his two other sons, Adam, and Asher, could just watch.

But one day, when Arc was almost 4, his father was, well, chasing him, and this other Dragoni-Elemental, who was a younger Garmadon, crashed into Azym, and started trying to fight him off, away from Arc, while another Dragoni-Elemental, a younger Wu, grabbed Arc and flew while Garmadon unsuccessfully tried to get Adam and Asher.

Arc was pretty badly hurt, and by the time Garmadon and Wu got him back to their clan's hideout, the monastery, he was barely alive.... but somehow, he lived.

Now, there was another young ninja at the monastery- Zayde, Ice ninja, the one who later chose Zane. Zayde (Zay for short) was just three years older than Arc. He saw when Wu and Garmadon brought Arc in and hung around the room he was in before sneaking in once the adults left. He and Arc got pretty close, so Zay's father, Zack, took Arc in.

Arc trained to be a ninja and learned Spinjitzu (because why not)

He and Zay got to the point of referring to each other as their brother, Zay will actively call Arcturus his little brother.

Nowadays Arc lives on a mountain near the monastery and generally just helps with training and is a friend. He’s pretty close to the six.

I will or already have released a poll on whether i should have Arc run back into his reformed father and brothers, and have them reconcile. Here is the link to the poll

Ninjago Anacondrai War I

I always felt like the Anacondrai War was one of the deepest points in the Ninjago lore b/c of how the serpentine are portrayed.

At first, it looks like the Serpentine attacked out of a superstition of the Golden Master (which, they were kinda right j wrong interpretation) to which escalated to fighting for the realm.

But we learn that in season 4, Chen acc exacerbated that conflict by double-crossing both sides. (which first off, f u broski)

It makes me realize just how the war was fought on both sides. Like don't get me wrong both sides must have done incredible damage to the cities and towns, but the elemental masters thought they fought on the side of good.

didn't the serpentine think the same way?

p.s. I am well aware of the flashback that showed General Arcturus being all villainous & such but that guy looked remorseful when being banished (I feel like he may not have been such a bad leader & certainly didn't want his tribe to go extinct).

Love how General Arcturus just kinda... Snubs Wu while praising Lloyd and Pythor. That probably wasn't the intention, but it's how I choose to interpret it.

I do headcanon Pythor as an unrepentant and somewhat infamous scam artist who Arcturus was clearly aware of, I could interpret his praising of Pythor and Lloyd to be a stealthy way of insulting Wu without actually telling him that a scam artist and a child are both better people than him.

Nothing will be more weirder than the Ninjago fandom acting like Cole was in love with Nya throughout Rebooted.

Through the entire Love Triangle ordeal, he never actually acts for Nya, instead only reacting to Jay. Observe:

Blackout

In the previous episode, The Art of the Silent Fist, there was a scene between Cole and Nya. Throughout that episode, Nya was struggling with her newfound feelings towards Cole (given to her by a machine I might add but that's a conversation for another day). Nya talks to Cole in that scene and it ends with them holding hands and Cole jokingly saying "Don't tell Jay."

Why am I bringing this up? Because I honestly have trouble looking at that through a romantic lense. I often see people use this as evidence even though it doesn't match up with how the show would later indicate romance (they looked at each other so they're in love now! Chemistry, what's that!) More importantly, Nya never actually articulates her feelings for Cole in this scene. This is crucial when getting to Blackout. In Blackout, after Pixal blurts out that Cole is a perfect match for Nya, not Jay, who entered the room at the time, his first instinct is to attack Cole as soon as he saw him! From the POV of Cole, this looks like his friend calling him names and a whole lot of other things seemingly out of nowhere, he never actually heard about the "Perfect Match" results and that combined with the previously mentioned scene leaves us with a Cole who isn't in love with Nya and is only focused on Jay.

The Curse of The Golden Master

In this clip, after the ninja head into the sewer like a certain other group of color coded ninja, Jay gets into another spat with Cole after Cole dared to *checks note* look out for Nya's safety. This causes the two to get into an argument and ignore Nya falling from the broken ladder.

Now this scene on it's own doesn't mean much, but when paired with the other episodes mentioned, it starts to paint a bigger picture. This scene is a tipping point for Cole, going from someone clueless about his situation and fighting with Jay to letting this petty, near one-sided rivalry get in the way of the task at hand.

This scene is honestly the perfect representation of the Love Triangle in Rebooted: it was never really about Nya, she was just a stepping stone to get to Jay yelling at Cole over a situation he has no idea he's even in. Cole isn't out of the woodwork either as he begins to ignore Nya solely so he can insult Jay, but hey, it can't get any worse right?

Codename: Arcturus

It got worse.

In Codename: Arcturus, we see Jay, Cole, and Nya at the movie theater to "prove who Nya should go out with." Now, you may ask "doesn't that sequence end with both Jay and Cole asking who Nya will date and her kidnapping a cleaning robot?" yes, it does! But the important thing here is that it wasn't even Nya's idea in the first place ("Hey, it wasn't my idea to go on a double date to decide between you two.") Interesting thing of note, this is the only episode in the entire season where it's actually shown Cole fighting for Nya's affection, but even then it's not really about her, it's about getting back at Jay more than anything.

I know someone will come in wondering about "authorial intent," the intent in question being that Cole could be a potential love interest for Nya moving forward, but while I can see the intent, I can also acknowledge that what actually landed on the page and later the screen does not match the intent at all. Instead of Cole falling in love with Nya and getting into a spat with Jay that way, we got Cole treating Nya like a stepping stone to get back at Jay, disregarding her feelings in the process.

TL;DR: Kai should've knocked Jay and Cole upside the head for being weird about his sister
