Im gonna post this here cause it sounds like a tumblr fake story but yesterday i was sitting alone at lunch for the billionth time and a group of people came up to me for the first time in forever

they invited me to their table and i found out that one of them was a huge rottmnt fan and the others were ninjago fans and i was literally so excited and the only other person in my grade was a Cole fan like me and said hes the best ninja bc 1 hes gay 2 he is a rock and 3 he likes men. We also agreed that the scene where he came out to his dad as a ninja couldve been changed to where he says "gay" instead of "ninja" and it would make complete sense

I showed them my friend's rottmnt and ninjago crossover art bc i was so excited like how rare is it that these people at my school exsist, want to be friends with me, and have similar interests to me??? The last time someone talked to me was to debate me about trans people being valid and the school security guard asking if i was ok and someone saying "whys everyone such an asshole" when i walked past them after they asked me to do something bc i didnt know they were talking to me BC NO ONE EVER TALKS TO ME

Ninjago Theory & Fan Headcanon: Aspheera  & Pythor’s Sibling Like Relationship (And Aspheera x Koko Ship)

even if it might seem like Pythor might pick on Aspheera because he “likes her”

but his feelings might not romantic at all, and he and Aspheera would be more of a “I sib it”, not all ships will be romantic and some will be platonic, but you can’t just say “I ship it” when it comes to the platonic type, because it will give the wrong idea.

both Pythor and Aspheera seem like the bickering siblings type, like Pythor could be like the annoying little brother Aspheera never had and didn’t want but her parents brought him home anyway, and no matter how many times she asks, they aren’t gonna take him back to the baby store. XD

and anyway as for a Crossover Ship, like between Ninjago Tv Series and the Ninjago Movie Universe...

would it be weird if Aspheera and Koko (Lloyd’s Mom from the Movie Dimension) end up being romantic ship together...?

is it weird that in my fan headcanon, I can’t help but view Aspheera as being maybe either a lesbian or sapphic.

if Garmadon did want to get back together with his ex-wife Koko, then he would end up having a rival for her heart, which would be Aspheera.

and yeah in theory and fan headcanon, I think it could be possible that Aspheera could either be sapphic or lesbian...and if they ever reveal that in a future season of Ninjago, we might see if this is true or not, or they might not reveal that at all and it might only be guessed in the fanon.

 Pythor & Aspheera is “I sib it.” and Koko x Aspheera is “I ship it.”    

not sure if there will be many who would end up shipping Lloyd’s Mom from the Movie Dimension with Aspheera, I still think the movie version of Lloyd’s Mom is much better with Garmadon than the version of her from the Tv Series Dimension....Garmadon can do so much better than Misako from the Tv Series.

one of the good things that came from their marriage was Lloyd. 

even if Misako did love Garmadon, she wasn’t exactly his perfect match, plus with how she acts with Wu, it is clear she would rather be with Wu more than she does with Garmadon, well it seems that way to me...

and if you think about it, since Garmadon did die and was brought back to life, they are technically no longer married....right?

so that would make Misako both Garmadon’s widow & ex-wife.

I wonder if it would be weird to ship Koko x Aspheera together, like would they even work or fit together in some fan arts...?

well I know that the whole Pythor and Aspheera acting like siblings that fight and make fun of each other, does work. XD

Lord of the Rings AU - Jay

Villainctober day 12: Cosplaying as other CN characters

Flug as Jay because they’re both inventive anxiety bois and Demenica as Harumi because they’re both obsessive (Harumi with killing Lloyd/being adopted by garmadon and Demencia with black hat/being in love with black hat (it made more sense in my head) and because I couldn’t make her nya because I don’t ship her an flug and I didn’t think her as skylor or pixel would make sense. 

and for once, it’s actually a good thing that ninjago is on cartoon network and not a network that would give it more advertising and viewers

Thank you!!! I'm actually really surprised by all the support this au is getting when I've only observed about two people in the BBCM fandom who have actually *seen* Ninjago, y'know? This idea is so out there and I could never have anticipated people being even remotely interested. And people still aren't, necessarily, but the fact people like you are so supportive of me pursuing a ridiculous passion project anyway is so awesome!

That's also exactly why, if I do ever write it, I intend to cater it to non-Ninjago fans so that anyone can follow along regardless of their familiarity with Ninjago.

As a thank-you for being so awesome and sending this ask, here's some art I made for the AU! I made a lot more than just this, including a poorly photoshopped render of Merlin as a Lego, but this one I think is my favorite!

It depicts Merlin wearing the deepstone armor from season 5. While Merlin isn't initially keen on becoming a ninja (he's a lover, not a fighter!), he does give in and wear the uniform for season 5. The only reason he does this is because it's made of deepstone, which can repel ghostly possession. And since the main antagonist of season 5 is a ghost, it makes sense to be cautious. Doesn't mean he has to like it though. But hey, at least he still gets to wear his scarf.

Merlin's exasperation is palpable throughout the entirety of this AU, which I tried to articulate in this drawing. And honestly, he is so valid for it.

One detail that is very important to me is that, even when Merlin reluctantly wears the ninja uniform/s, he always places some form of Camelot's crest on his person. As a way of showing that his loyalty will always lie first and foremost with Camelot, with the Once and Future King - and more importantly, as a way of reminding him of where he came from and what he's lost, and what he's fighting to return to. He can look at the dragon crest on his uniform and feel closer to Camelot even though his odds of ever returning home get smaller by the day. He can look at it and be filled with the hope, with the determination, that he won't be lost forever.
