“W-what?” You stare at the man. “Suck me off right now or 'm going to throw you off the side of the mountain.” “Please--” “I’m not going to say it again girl, and I’m not swayed by begging.” He stares down at your shaking figure. You look at him and then behind you at the drop. You can’t even see the bottom. You wouldn’t survive that. You shake even harder. You have no choice you think as you drop down to your knees, you're so close to the edge that your feet dangle off the edge. “Pull it out, little girl.” The big man with dark hair who dragged you to the forest grunts out. Your hands are shaking as you unbuckle his pants and pull his pants down enough for his cock to jump out. You cry when you see the size of it, how are you going to suck something that huge. The tears you were holding in started to fall. “Enough with the tear's girl, they only make me harder—now put my cock into that pouty mouth, you don’t want me to put it in for you.”  You grab the base of his cock. Your hand doesn’t fully wrap around it. You bring your other hand up to fully cover his shaft. You start to move your hands up and down his shaft as you cry. “Use your fuckin’ mouth, feels like ‘m rubbing sandpaper on my dick with those dry hands. Get my cock wet.” He rolls his eyes, griping your chin with one hand, the other grabbing the back of your head. He pulls your mouth to his cock. “That’s it—no teeth or I'll shove you off the cliff with a mouth full of cum.”  Toji thrusts into your mouth, you take your hands off his shaft and hold onto his pants. He’s thrusting so hard you feel the rocks underneath you start to break off. You cry harder as you choke on his cock, trying to ignore the tingles in your pussy and the ache in your breast.

You wake up to the feeling of fingers circling your clit. You smile and lean into your boyfriend's big chest. “Mm--Satoru,” You squirm when you feel light kisses on your shoulder. You lift your leg to his hip. He rubs your entrance before slipping two fingers into your wet cunt. You moan, his fingers feel thicker than normal, not as long. You chalk it up to your sleepy mind. “Want a kiss Toru,” You grind your ass into his cock as he finger fucks you. “Gimme a kiss baby.” You turn your head with puckered lips and freeze. Suguru grins from behind you. You gasp and try to pull away. He grabs your neck with his free hand, trapping you. “Stop! What are you doing Sugu, where's Toru?” You scream, twisting your head when he tries to kiss you. “No!” “Oh, don’t be like this y/n, don't act like you don’t cum on my cock every time Satoru is away on a trip.” The fingers on your jaw tighten and he bites your bottom lip. You struggle before you eventually give in. Satoru grins into the kiss, shoving his tongue into your mouth. You taste blood. “W-where’s Satoru?” You cry. “Out, went to go get you treats because you said you didn’t feel good.” He whispers into your mouth. Your heart clenches. He wanted to make you happy and you're here cumming on his best friend's fingers. “Stop Sugu, t-this isn’t right.” You moan when the hand inside you curls up into your G-spot. “Then maybe he shouldn’t have made us fuck that one time, it was like he was asking for this to happen.”

“Look at this fucking ass,” Sukuna smirks as he watches you slam your hips down his cock. He smiles and twists the anal plug he coerced you to wear this morning. You whine. “Love this ass s’much.” He slaps your raw ass. You scream and grip the pillow. You wouldn't be surprised if after this is done your ass the busied and bloody. “I wanna fuck this ass,” he pulls the anal plug out of your ass “I am gonna fuck this ass.” He pulls his cock out of your pussy. You clench around nothing. “N-not today ‘Kuna. Put it back in my pussy.” You whine grinding back on his dick. He leans to grab you by the neck. “No, we're gonna do what I want, and I want to fuck your ass.” “But--” “No little one, you’re here to satisfy my needs now stay still or it’s going hurt.” He pushes your head into the pillow. You whine. “Good girl.” He straightens back up before grabbing his soaked cock and bringing the tip to your puckered ass. “W-what about lube ‘Ryo?” You swallow, tensing up when he starts to shove his cock in. “Gave you a chance to wear a bigger plug this morin’ but you wanted to be a crybaby ‘bout it. This is punishment.” He answers as he shoves another inch into you. You cry out into the pillow. “Now next time I tell you to do something you’ll know I'm doing it for your own good.”

LU Mer AU - Harsh Reality
Summary: The story of how Wild's fins got scarred
TW: Violence and blood
AN: @breannasfluff some fish for you 🐠 🐟
(Read this and the rest of the AU on AO3)
~~~
Ever since Wild and Wind had joined up with another loner- an octopus Mer named Hyrule- things had been smooth sailing. It still wasn’t exactly easy, but with two hunters in the group instead of just one, it was significantly simpler to fill everyone’s bellies.
With Hyrule there, Wild didn’t have to leave Wind alone when he went to hunt. Hyrule also had magic, a fact he’d hesitantly revealed to the pair three weeks after joining them in their travels. Wild was hesitant to ask Hyrule to use his magic, as he didn’t want to frighten the octopus away, but when one of them did get hurt, there was less for Wild to worry about than before.
Not having to worry so much about getting food or any injuries they might acquire had lulled Wild into a false sense of security, something he wouldn’t realize until it was too late.
For the past day and a half, the three of them had been traveling along a sharp drop-off that led to the deep waters Wild himself had been raised in. The cold waters that rose from the depths were rich in nutrients, which allowed a flourishing ecosystem to thrive along the cliff’s edge. It was more than enough to sustain at least a small pod, but the cold waters chased away many nearby tropical Mer pods that might have been looking to expand their territory.
Wind was amusing himself by seeing how far he would dare to dart out over the open waters before getting too nervous and fleeing back to the safety of the cliff. Both Wild and Hyrule were keeping a lazy eye on him while chatting about their next move. Wild might be comfortable staying here for a while, but the cold water wouldn’t be good for Hyrule or Wind long term. They would have to move on eventually.
But for now, it seemed safe enough.
Being able to reassure himself that there wasn’t any danger of attracting unwanted attention from other Mer put Wild’s mind at ease. Probably for the first time since he had found Wind. he was truly relaxed.
Dropping his guard was a mistake, one he didn’t recognize until their peace was broken by Hyrule letting out a warning screech that had Wind darting toward the relative safety of the cliff.
Wild was caught off guard by the warning call, twisting in the water to try and pinpoint what Hyrule was alerting to. It didn't take much time to locate the threat- rather, it didn’t take long for the threat to locate Wild.
A sharp blow to his side sent him flying into the side of the cliff. Stunned for a moment, Wild opened his mouth- to shriek, or call for Hyrule, or something- but all the water had been knocked out of his lungs. A sharp edge of the rocks dug into the gills on his chest, making it harder to breathe. Slowly, he rebounded back away from the wall, unable to control the direction he was drifting.
Gills fluttering, he desperately tried to reorient himself. Slowly, the world came back into focus, and now that he could breathe again, other things started to filter back into his awareness. Hyrule yelling, Wind wailing, and a deep, unfamiliar snarl.
“We’re sorry! We didn't know this was someone’s territory! I swear we’ll leave right away, we’re sorry!” Hyrule’s attempt at placating the strange Mer was lost to Wild as he managed to twist around to take in the threat, wincing as his ribs screamed in protest.
Before him, Hyrule had placed himself in between Wild and the new Mer, and was staring them down. His arms were spread out to the sides as if to block the larger Mer from swimming around him to get to Wild and a faint green shimmer in the water told Wild that Hyrule was casting a shielding spell as well. Thankfully, Wind was nowhere to be seen, and had stopped wailing after seeing that Wild was still well enough to move on his own.
For a moment, Wild could only feel gratitude that Hyrule would throw himself in the path of danger for Wild, someone who he’d only known for a few months at best. That feeling was quickly shoved aside. He would have time to be thankful after they got away. For now, he had to focus.
He swam up behind Hyrule, presenting a more united front. The other Mer seemed hesitant to attack right away when they saw Hyrule’s magic, which gave Wild enough time to observe them.
They were clearly a deep sea Mer like Wild, with a black tail with jagged stripes of dark purple covering their fins. The most important thing about them though, was how large they were. They were a fully grown adult, likely over seventy based on their size alone.
And they did not look friendly.
Oh, that’s not good, Wild thought. He might have even said it out loud, but it was lost as the Mer seemed to grow tired of hesitating. In a swift movement, they twisted their body, coiling up tightly and then striking out with their tail against the barrier Hyrule had erected. Hyrule’s magic was no match for the harsh strike, and the green glimmer in the water shattered upon impact.
That must have been what they did to me, Wild realized absently as he grabbed Hyrule and dove straight down, out of the way of the strike. He propelled them down- five feet, then ten, then twenty.
When he finally let go of Hyrule, they were a good twenty-five feet below the other Mer, who had twisted to watch them move further away, but didn’t pursue them. Their eyes glinted harshly in the low light, and Wild shivered as he realized that the only reason the Mer wasn't following was because they were heading deeper into the Mer’s territory. There was no reason to follow because they were running away. They were just heading into more familiar waters to the other Mer.
Wild gave Hyrule a shove to get the octopus to stop clinging to him. Hyrule withdrew quickly but with clear reluctance. Quietly, Wild hissed, “Stay here. If things go bad, take Wind and get as far away as you can.” Hyrule looked like he wanted to protest, but he gave Wild a firm nod and a sharp click of agreement.
With Hyrule’s confirmation that even if things went south, Wind would still have a chance, Wild darted back up through the water toward the larger Mer.
Attacking from below was hardly ever effective unless the one you were attacking didn’t know you were coming, and the other Mer definitely knew Wild was coming, but there wasn’t much to do about that. He had to distract them for long enough for Hyrule to slip around the side and find where Wind had hidden himself. Wild was under no impression that this would go well for him. The other Mer was half again as long as he was, and clearly much older. Wild would need a miracle to fight them off.
As he swam upwards, he stretched out his fins as much as he could. The drag of the extra width slowed him down a little, but he knew it was worth it for the effect.
Wild knew from experience that his larger-than-average fins gave even the largest Mer pause when they saw his threat display. This time was no different, the other Mer’s eyes widening for a second. They righted themselves quickly, preparing for the initial clash, but that split-second delay was just what Wild needed. It threw them off balance, making it easier to predict their next move.
They curled up again, clearly trying to use the same smacking move they had used to break Hyrule’s shield, but Wild was prepared, ducking around their tail. He reached out a hand toward the other Mer’s chest, claws bared, aiming for their gills. Injuries to the gills were a quick way to incapacitate someone. It was usually considered a dirty move to go for the gills, but Wild couldn’t afford to fight fair.
Border skirmishes were quick and violent affairs, and usually left one party grievously injured, if not dead. Wild knew he couldn’t hold back. He had to use every trick in the book to get the upper hand.
His slash was knocked off course by the Mer swinging an arm out, catching Wild in the shoulder and swatting him away easily. The strength of the blow made pain bloom in his shoulder, and he hissed loudly, drawing his arm close, cradling it to his body.
The pain distracted him, and his hiss quickly turned into a shriek of agony as new pain bloomed along his fins.
Blood flooded the water as he quickly retracted his fins toward his body, twisting around to face his opponent again, who had moved off a few feet. The Mer grinned at him with a mouth full of sharp teeth, looking not at all sorry. The claws on both hands glistened with blood- Wild’s blood.
Wild’s dorsal fin and one of his pelvic fins burned. Every movement through the water caused the pain to flare up further.
This time the other Mer moved first, no doubt thinking they had just guaranteed their victory. Wild wasn’t ready. He felt like he could barely move with the burn in his fins, but he didn’t have a choice.
He waited until the last second, then flung himself out of the way of the blow, using his momentum to drive his claws into the Mer’s hip- then rake them halfway down their tail before his momentum pulled his claws right out of their flesh. The Mer howled as blood flooded the water.
It was coming faster than Wild expected, even with the long ragged cuts his claws had left. Had he hit an artery?
The other Mer seemed to have the same thought, hands coming to cover the wounds, their face shifting from a victorious smile to a horrified wide-eyed look. Their hands did nothing to stop the outpouring of blood.
Abruptly, they turned and dove, sinking faster and faster through the water. For a moment, Wild was worried they were going to go after Hyrule where he was clinging to the cliff, but they fell straight past him.
In moments, the murk of the depths obscured them. There was startling silence, unsettling after the shrieks of battle. The only proof there had been a battle at all was the blood lingering in the water and the wounds littering Wild’s body.
He hesitated for a moment, staring down into the darkness. He half expected the other Mer to come barreling back up out of the depths, but they didn’t.
It felt like an eternity later when a soft touch on their arm shocked them out of their staring contest with the abyss. Slowly, Wild turned to stare at Hyrule. Hyrule looked worried. His arms were full of a nervously clicking Wind, who WIld noted looked blessedly unhurt. One of Hyrule’s tentacles was stretched out to caress Wild’s shoulder.
Still, Wild felt frozen. He couldn’t move, couldn't speak. He could feel himself slowly drifting downward as he continued to not move, but he couldn't convince his body to move.
Slowly, he could feel more of Hyrule's tentacles wrap around him, as the abyss rose up to consume his vision and the sweet blackness of oblivion washed the pain of his injuries away.
"Of course this would happen!", you say pacing around your room that you got at a nearby Inn. "Thank you SO much universe! I really wanted to be fucking yeeted into a hell hole of a planet and get stuck in the clusterfuck of events!"
You threw down your coat and let out a frustrated yell, kicking the foot of the bed.
"JUST MY FUCKING LUCK!", you huff and sit down on the bed, starting to calm yourself down.
Ok, think. Its not long till the July military police get here. You look out of your room window. I probably have enough time to get a .22 caliber bullet.
Putting on your coat, you got ready and made sure to take your scythe.
As the suns began to set, you made your way over to see the duel. Making sure to stand nearby to give the bullet to the lady from the diner.
The crazy ass captain shot out the cluster bomb and screams went off.
"Vash! Get down here!", Rosa shouted up at the blonde.
"Tell everyone to take cover!", he responded and turned around to face the falling bombs.
5.....4....3...2..1. You count down in your head.
"BULLETS! I COULD REALLY USE SOME BULLETS!", Vash shouts out after rushing towards the edge of the cliff he's on. "A FEW .22 CALIBERS WOULD BE DANDY!!"
You calmly walk over to the woman backing up.
"COME ON GUYS! ANY TIME NOW!?"
" 'Scuse me Ma'am.", you startle the woman when tapping her shoulder.
"Huh?", she looks at you confused.
"Bullet.", you say and hold it out to her.
She gets the message quickly and takes the bullet before making her way to Meryl.
Whelp, I've done my bit for today. You think and start walking away, not wanting to feel the heat from the explosives.
You don't notice the woman looking for you to properly give thanks.
.
"HURRY! HELP! PLEASE!! I NEED AMMO!", Vash yells before crying out in stress, tears streaming down his face as he lifts his hands to the sides of his head.
"Special delivery!"
The blonde turns his head when hearing Meryl.
"It's from Rosa!", the small woman shouts before reeling back her arm and throwing the one bullet at him.
He jumps to catch it but the bullet is shot out of his reach by the captain.
Not wasting any time, he runs after it.
"Come to daddy!", he gasps between breaths, pushing himself to go faster.
Jumping forward with an outstretched arm, it feels like time slows down as he manages to catch the bullet.
"Got'cha!"
Quickly moving to load the gun, he mumbles, "Much obliged.", in relief as he puts the bullet in the barrel.
As he aims up to the sky, his gun is shot by the captain.
"I don't think so!", the man in uniform says as he runs over to shoot at the blonde.
Vash dodges the bullets quickly and flips the man over his shoulder, letting him bounce off the ground before hitting the man on the back of his neck to knock him out.
Running over to get a piece of the rock, the ace gunman breaks it out before tossing it up high into the air with a shout and takes aim.
BANG!
The rock breaks apart when shot and the pieces shoot off, hitting the bombs surrounding it.
It only takes a second for all of them to explode. The power of the blast forms a dust cloud that extends until it falls off of the rock.
After the July police were detained, the town threw a party at the diner to celebrate.
Vash walks over to the bar and waves at the pregnant woman on the other side. "Thanks Rosa! If it wasn't for your bullet, we wouldn't be here.", he smiles, leaning on the bar counter.
"Don't thank me. Some stranger gave it to me.", she says, getting drinks to serve to one of the tables.
"What? Really?", the blonde says surprised. "Are they still around?"
"Can't say. When I looked back to thank them, they disappeared.", she says and goes out from behind the counter. "Must have been an angel."
Rosa leaves him be and makes her way over to the table with singing drunks.
"An angel?", he blinks.
For some reason, the medic he met a while back comes to mind.
No way. He shakes his head and goes back to his table. It couldn't have been them.
.
..
...
Could it?
.
You were back in your room, making a list of medical supplies to buy before all Hell breaks loose.
Mother fucking Knives. You think and grumble out a few more curses.
"I'm gonna end up broke because of you.", you huff, letting your head fall back and look up at the ceiling.
Doesn't matter, as long as I can help out to ease his conscience. You tell yourself.
Then all of a sudden you feel your ears burn.
"What the heck?", you say and touch one of your ears. "Is someone talking about me?"
You shrug and get ready for bed.
I should sleep now, I'm gonna need the energy for tomorrow. You think and have a feeling that another weird dream is waiting for you.
For some reason you snapped your eyes open.
Standing up and looking around, you find the ship's green house empty. No Rem or little Vash in sight.
Weird. You think, not moving from your spot. Someone's always here.
Then when you decide to turn around, you see an almost identical blonde child standing behind you.
Freezing on the spot, you just stare.
WHAT THE FUCK!? NAI YOU LITTLE CREEP!
"Vermin.", the pale blue eyed boy says randomly.
Did this.. You get pissed off. This little shit!
"Oh please, not every human is trash.", you respond. "Yeah a good amount of them are but that doesn't mean all of them have to die."
All the boy does is frown at you.
"Whatever, all you're doing is trying to protect your brother.", you say and turn away from him to look at the red flowered meadow. "You do carry it out in the worst possible way though."
Silence settles in between both of you after.
At some point you look over at the kid and find him standing next to you, also looking at the flowers.
Not wanting to break whatever 'peace' this is, you look back at the flowers.
...
"Do you think you can protect him?"
I re-watched episode one over and over to get it right.
The Trial part3 : The way is ahead
Tumblr media
Part1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Thrawn x f!reader
Time is running out and you didn't recover the cylinder. Will you be able to reach your goal and finish the exam?
They look so calm, around a fire, sharing stories or discussing the next course of actions. Unaware they are being spied on, they appear so relaxed.
You take your eyes off the sight and pass the sniper to Thrawn. He looks in silence, surely evaluating the level of threat they represent.
“That is them.” He confirms.
“Told you.” Cosblo chants.
“We need to discuss our next actions.” He straightens his back, putting his hands behind his back.
“You mean discuss the well sorted plan you already carefully designed three weeks ago for this very situation?” You side eye him with a grin.
“Precisely, cadet.” He responds without missing a beat.
And so he does, exposing his idea to you all around a fire. You all listen in respectful silence at first and dismayed silence towards the end, Cosblo eyes are wide open, Eli’s mouth is agape, and you, you feel the start of a headache.
“I mean it with all due respect,” Cosblo starts “But have you lost your mind… Sir!?”
“It is merely about good timing and team efforts, I am confident we can do it” Thrawn counters.
Eli scoffs, ruffling his hair. Good timing… Good timing and an insolent chance, yeah! This plan will never work.
“I mean… You can’t be serious, sir?” You ask with a white voice. “What are the probabilities of success?”
“You might not see it but probability is on our side, actually. If we manage to coordinate all our efforts the victory will be ours without fail!” He states, his thoughts straight and confident. His tone doesn’t leave room for uncertainty either.
You could, hypothetically, see this plan succeed… But still. This is crazy!
“If anyone has a better idea, I am open to discussion.” He offers.
But it is clear no one else has a plan, even a crazy one, that they would want to share.
“So it is settled.” He simply concludes.
-------------------------------------------------------------
You roll over in your duvet. The truth is your sentiment of guilt towards the team didn’t disappear and you are resolute to do your maximum to make amends for it. You had a plan on your own but you didn’t want to share it with others because you knew they would refuse it. But contrary to Thrawn's plan, you could apply it all alone. You would be the sole one in danger.
You peek outside of your tent and see Thrawn’s back, focused on the immediate vicinity. You open the opposite side of your tent and crawl out in complete silence and walk to the edge of the cliff. From there you can see the camp of the B team far away, their dying fire and their watchman circling around the tents. You put your hair in a bun and start your descent. At night, the rock temperature is far lower and doesn’t slash your hands, you let yourself fall and land as discreetly as possible.
You advance crouching, one step after the other you move closer to their camp in the tall grass. You stop and observe. The tents are planted circularly around the fire, or what’s left of it, their packages are gathered at the center, left in the open. The sentry’s making large circles around the tents, scrutinizing the dark, his rifle firmly holds in his hands.
You walk like a predator, without any sound, cautiously. You take a stone and throw it against a trunk nearby. Alerted, the sentinel marches towards the direction of the sound, gun aiming at the void and the dark. You glide swiftly behind him and take out your own gun. Sorry buddy you think to yourself and knock it down behind his skull. A yelp escapes him as he falls down face first in the dirt without fighting. You roll him down on his back and search his pocket, you never know you might have a chance.
No, he doesn’t have the cylinder. You take him under his arms and drag him under the bushes. You get out of it and crouch back in position, you walk discreetly towards the bags.
You hold back a scream of pain.
You look down at your feet and see an enormous piece of glass piercing your shoe. You look closely around you and see the light reflecting on dozens of glass shards scattered around their camp. Bastards! You reach for it before advising not to, keeping it would prevent you bleeding liters. Now each step is painful and you must refrain from starting to cry.
You try to focus. Go on (y/n)! It’s like with the suits with Thrawn, it’s the same thing! You try and encourage yourself mentally, but you gloss over the fact that this time a whole team could very much beat you up if you get caught.
You finally reach the bags and you take a second to breathe and relieve your feet. Damn that hurt! You start searching the bags, internally praying to any god that may be here for the cylinder to be in one of them. But there again, nothing. You sigh discouraged. This will be more complicated than first expected.
You look around you, it looks like a bag is missing, one of them must have kept it inside their tent. You approach a random tent, open the zipper and take a peek. You see nothing. To the other one. Wrong pick. Third is the charm you thought. Third is indeed the charm, you can see the package resting next to its owner who’s sleeping soundly. You slide yourself silently inside and kneel next to the bag. You observe the sleeper who’s facing the opposite side, just like you they like to sleep with a weapon next to them. You gulp at this sight. You’ve been shot once, you’d rather not be shot twice. You open the bag cautiously and start searching its pockets. Nothing. Where is it? You start losing patience as your stress level spikes. You slouch back, discouraged, when something shines at the corner of your eyes. Between the sleeper’s face and the wall of the tent you see it. The cylinder!
You eruct in joy internally, but you stay focused. You still have to retrieve it and it means bending over an armed enemy. You regret not taking your weapon, by fear it would have been in your way. You carefully lean, placing a hand on the other side really slowly.
“Ha!”
You stop dead in your movement. They move, rolling from their side to their back, but don't do anything else. You release the breath you were holding. It was close! You scratch out your arm and fingers at their max.
Closer.
Closer.
You got it!
You take it with infinite precautions. Finally, you observe this little cylinder of metal. All that troubles for such a petite thing. You crawl out of the tent and close it back.
You’ve done it!
“Freeze!”
You jump out of your skin, turning towards the voice. You see the sentry, well awake, pointing at you with fire in the eyes.
“Hands up!”
You slowly raise your hands. He takes the time to observe the cylinder in one of them, he frowns.
“Put that ba-”
A clac rings.
Red flashes.
He collapses without a sound.
You turn your head towards the source of the sound, you see two small red lights at the top of the cliff. Without thinking you start running as fast as you can towards them. You limp and flinch at each step but run until you are breathless. A second rifle sound resonates and you hear the sound of a body falling in tall grass with a muffled groan. You don’t turn back. You sprint and jump on the partition, ascending four by four. The pain is tearing you apart but the joy of succeeding gives you wings. Another clac.
At the top of the cliff you found a helping hand extended for you, you seize it and climb the last meter. Thrawn, sniper rifle in the back, pulls you to your feet with a grunt.
“I trust you are aware it was a ludicrous idea?” The tone is cold, judgemental.
But you shrug it. Hands on your knees you try to take back your breath.
“You know…” You take out the cylinder “From where I came from we don’t say an idea is ludicrous if it worked.”
He looks at you, unflinching.
Then his shoulder seemed to relax. He reaches for it.
“And our own? You did not bring it with you at least?”
“Do you take me for an idiot?” You wink “I hid it in Eli’s backpack.”
He considers the cylinder then nods to you after sighed.
“Good work, Cadet. Let us get you patched up.”
Cosblo is not thrilled to be awake at this hour of the night, but he tends to your wound nonetheless. He pulls out the shard with expert hands and applies the bacta immediately, preventing further bleeding. In less than ten minutes you’re all bandaged and good to go. While this time, Thrawn is decoding the cylinder on the pads, deciphering what’s appearing on the screen.
“What do we have?” You query.
“It is indeed the team's B cylinder. We have passed the first phase of the trial. Now it is telling us to head toward the structure as we suspected. As for the contents of the cylinder it is more randomly generated words and numbers, I can not draw any conclusion out of this.”
“Maybe Eli could say more about it?”
He nods.
“Most certainly.”
And like that you go back to bed for a well deserved sleep. Tomorrow you will head towards the structure and your trial will be over. It unfolded rather good in your opinions, it could have been way worse when you thought back about all the wounds you inflicted on your comrades, way worse.
You’re sleeping soundly when you feel something poke your side. You don’t react, trying your best to stay asleep. Then something hits your ribs. You cough, all your air expelled from your lungs. You open your eyes wide open and find the canon of a gun aimed at you.
You dive sideways to retrieve your own but you found only the void.
“Get out!” The tone of the voice indicates your doesn’t have a choice
You leave with your hands raised, a crude odor of sugar mugs your nose. You discover Cosblo and Eli on their knees, hands behind their heads. It is apparently not the B team. You limp to your place and get on your knees as they gesture at you to.
“We’ve finally got our hands on you! You’re pretty hard to find.” The chief says “I suppose it’s the freak who told you how? Where is he by the way?”
You wrinkle your nose. Thrawn’s not here? Behind you one of their teammates exits the last tent and shakes her head. He frowns.
“It’s him who has the cylinder, right?”
Nobody responds. Behind him you see them pass around your weapons, one of them is seated on the 74-Z. Where is the second one?
“If you have two cents of intelligence you would have given it to him. Despite being an alien, he’s good at what he does.” He paces in front of you like a predator, none of you look at him, eyes down you try and remain as neutral as possible. You glance at Eli, he surely didn’t realize he’s the one in possession of the cylinder and thinks Thrawn still has it. “Everyone noticed it. And we are many to have waited for this occasion to pay him back for the humiliation.”
You gulp, they are on a vendetta. They surely won’t let you go that easily, even with the cylinder. You pray for them not to rummage through the bags.
His foot stops in front of you.
“You know where he is?”
You keep your eyes down.
“We don’t know where he is! He wasn’t here when we woke up!” Eli intervenes.
“Shut up the lame, I’m not talking to you.”
He puts his cannon under your chin and raises your head, forcing you to look at him.
“So?”
You look him in the eye, nothing comes out of your mouth, keeping your expression fixed.
“Nothing?” He speaks gently, lowering his weapon a bit “What do you think might happens if I aim at your heart?”
“Dude, we’ve already told you!” Cosblo shouts.
You feel the tension rising. One of them sniffs loudly.
“Am I the only one who smells sugar?”
No she’s not, and at the same time some weird vapors are appearing.
“Where is he?!”
You start, he suddenly raises his voice. You open your mouth to speak but the sound of a motor approaching covers you. Out of nowhere, Thrawn burst out of the bushes riding the second bike. He steers and knocks them down as he drifts.
“Hurry! They are gassing the zone!” He commands.
You all jump on your feet, Cosblo and Eli punch the guy and take the second bike as you rush to the bags. You take out the cylinder and the datapad and jump behind Thrawn. The engines roar and you fly away from the screams of panic of the adversary team and your possessions that you just left here.
Faster! The gas is gaining on you!
The noise of the motors rise in the air, scaring off birds and animals alike on your way. The wind screams in your ears as you hunch behind Thrawn, holding him for dear life. Away you can hear other teams reacting to the gas, you watch as it slowly circles you despite your speed. You breathe and inhale some of it. You immediately cough as it scorches your throat and eyes. It’s burning hot!
Between your tears you can see the structure growing in your field of vision. You rapidly arrive at a set of stairs. You jump off the bike and launch yourself inside, hearing the stampede in the trees. A lot of teams are gathered here by the gas, and they’re on your heels. You go up four by four when the sounds of the gun start resonate in the zone, it’s a complete panic!
Thrawn’s behind with his rifle, your only weapon as of now, and maintains them at bay. You run as fast as your liming permits you, but your compressing suit doesn’t help and impede your movement. Suddenly a hand seizes your shoulder and holds you back. You yelp in surprise as you notice the aim beam right in front of you and a clac rings the air. You turn yourself to Thrawn.
“Watch your st-”
He doesn’t finish his sentence.
He gasps as his combination turns completely red, and collapses.
You scream by instinct.
Thrawn is down and unconscious.
“Guys! Guys!”
Eli and Cosblo trace their step back, worried by your screams. They find you kneeled next to the body of Thrawn.
“Hurry!”
You retrieve his gun and cover your back as they lift him up. You sprint till you're breathless. From where you are you can see the battlefield at the bottom of the stairs. All the team shouting at each other and those who take advantage of the scuffle to sneak their way to the stairs and follow in your steps. It’s a frenzy.
Finally, you reach the top and are graced by an enormous metal door, one you can see in aircraft hangars. But it’s closed shut.
In a panic move you start banging with Eli.
“There is a control screen!” Cosblo notices
You rush to it. It asks you for a code.
“It needs a code!”
“What?! What code?!”
“I don’t know?!” You scream at each other, although it won’t resolve the situation.
Eli seems to think in the midst of this madness.
“I think I know it…”
You stop and look at him, hope and incredulity in your eyes.
“I crossed the numbers of both cylinders on the pad earlier and I think this is it.” He explains.
“Oh Eli…” You take his face between your two hands and kiss him loudly on the cheek. “I love you! Hurry, what is it?”
He dictates it to you and you press enter. You wait several agonizing seconds for something to happen. You can hear the other team on the stairs getting closer and closer. Suddenly you hear a clear sound and the screen turns green. The door starts rising.
You fling yourself inside and it drops back loudly behind you.
It’s finished!
You fall down on the ground, exhausted. Next to you Cosblo shouts a scream of joy, joined by Eli. They leave Thrawn against a wall and high five each other.
“Yes! We did it!”
You just look at them. Finally! About time!
You slowly raise up in a seated position, holding your compressed side. You hear steps behind you and you wince as you stand off.
“Wonderful! What suspense!” Someone starts clapping their hands.
You look up to see Satlove approach with a broad smile, shining his pearly white teeth, and his signature fan. He’s followed by one of your professors and some instructors, you hold them the datapad and cylinders.
They take a minute to examine them.
“Oh! Can someone unlock this gentleman?” Satlove designates Thrawn, laying motionless.
One of the instructors kneels down and manipulates the suit a bit. Thrawn suddenly jumps with a gasp for air. The instructor holds him back, informing him to stay put for a moment. He coughs as he nods.
Your professor moves closer, holding you back on the datapad.
“Congratulations. You passed the trial with success.”
You sigh relieved, Eli comes from behind and hugs you while Cosblo performs a step of dance. You all smile.
“You have my congratulations as well. I was rooting for you during all of this test, we all love a good underdogs group from time to time.” Satlove shakes the hands of the boys as he speaks. “I will keep tabs on you, maybe invite you to one of my famous dinners! It is a wonder I promise you!”
He takes your hand and kisses it. You feel your face heating up and start stuttering. He holds it a sec with a gentle smile to your address and laughing eyes.
“To the pleasure of meeting you again!” He chants as he exits the room with the instructors.
Thrawn stands off, holding his head.
“Shall we go?”
You help him off.
“Yes, sire. We shall go.”
Gotcha!
One second
Pairing: Finn Balor x Fem reader
Description: Finn thought he lost you after you fall from a cliff
Tumblr media
You and Finn stop and sit on a rock to drink water and catch your breath, you smile as you share a quick kiss before you get up and continue your run a bit ahead. You check and see that finn isn't behind you as you run ahead, you stop next to the edge of a cliff as you stare at the view of the sun and mountains around which took your breath away until you hear a terrifying sound, before you can realize and react the part of the cliff you were standing on collapses out from under you making you scream as you fall only seeing the sky and parts of the side of the small mountain you were once standing on and looking around, you felt a lot of pain as you fall and hit other edges of the mountain until you landed on a pile of long braches, you go unconscious after landing not knowing what truly happened or if you were going to be found. Finn feels his heart stop when he sees you fall, he ran and caught up with you while you were staring at the view of the mountains and sun until you suddenly screamed. He saw you for a second then you were gone, he yelled as he fell to his knees a few feet from where you were standing, feeling terrified that he couldn't see where you were or if you were even alive at this point, he runs frantically until he finds a trooper station and they started a search party to find you, he feels helpless as he sits on the steps of the cabin waiting for any news on your well being, he runs and throws up behind a tree and breaks down hoping that you were alive and that you weren't badly harmed or injured, he gets more worried as the hours go on and no news comes in as he sees the sun go down and become later and later, he jumps when he hears a loud radio but he feels his heart pounding when a trooper tells him that the search party found you and you were alive but needed to go to the hospital, he paces while waiting outside the cabin until the ambulance came and he sees the rescue team carrying you on a stretcher. He shakes as he waits in the hall of the hospital as you are examined and cared for, he almost passed out until the doctor walks up saying your name which wakes him up, he walks in your room bursting into tears of joy and relief that you were alive and only had minor injuries but feels his heart break by your weakened and tired state, he sits by your side waiting for you to wake up as he calls his friends telling them everything that had happened knowing that he needed to get the rest of his emotions out about what happened, he blames himself for not noticing and getting you away before you fell but he wasn't fast enough, you wheeze as you wake up and see the blinding light of the room feeling some of the pain from earlier but more dull as you turn to see finn in a chair next to you "Baby?" he jumps before looking up at you. He smiles big and kisses you before quietly crying in the crook of your neck, "Oh god I thought I lost you, I tried to get you but I wasn't fast enough it was so fast you were there and one second later you were gone" you hold him as you feel your heart sink at his words "It's not your fault honey things just happen sometimes" you kiss his temple as he sniffles, he kisses your lips and your forehead as you carefully move over and he lays next to you while he gently rubs your arm as you fall back asleep, he sighs in relief as he holds you in his arms and kisses your forehead while watching you and gently wraps his arms around you.
FFXIV Write 2024 #13 - Butte
Summary: Ar'beunti early in her journey, switches from a summoner to a black mage with Papalymo's assistance.
Content Warnings: None
Spoilers: None. Set during ARR
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ground shakes as rocks and rubble tumble down the cliffside. Another explosion strikes the side of the cliff, rocks fly in all directions. Another blast, larger than the last, the rubble flying its furthest so far. Small rocks clatter against the ground and roll past a tattered boot. Wearing this boot is Ar’beunti, wearing dark robes and readying a large staff, fire growing around the gem sitting atop of it. She throws her arm forward and fire flings from the weapon and screams toward the wall of rock, detonating in impact, crumbling the butte all the more.
“Ah, yes- now would be about the time you should switch to channelling ice aspected-”
Another explosion interrupts Papalymo as Beau casts Fire once more. Beau focuses her energy into the staff yet again, but finds herself straining. A few sparks flash from the staff, but nothing more. Papalymo closes the distance between them, patting some dust from his robes. “Hmm. Yes. Now this is what I was trying to help you avoid. Thaumaturgy is more than just fire, fire, fire, Ar’beunti. It requires at least some semblance of balance between ice and fire.”
Ar’beunti pants as her exhaustion catches up with her. She wipes her brow and places her hands on her knees as she gives the Lalafell a dirty look. Papalymo furrows his brow. “If you don’t want to acknowledge the fundamentals, then you can return to being a Summoner. No one is forcing you to take up a new craft.” Beau stands upright.
“Summoner isn’t for me… and I need to catch up… to where I was before…” Beau says, still out of breath.” Papalymo places his arms behind his back.
“Then you better start listening. You have a lot of ground to cover.” Papalymo takes a deep breath, pacing in front of Beau, swishing the air with his hand. “Thanalan is fairly warm today. Do you know what will help you cool off? Help you regain your energy?” Beau side eyes Papalymo. “Switch. To. Ice.”
Beau tightens her grip on her staff and focuses, the air beginning to cool around both of them. Papalymo nods his head in approval. A small blue glow forms at the staff and Beau throws her arm forward, Blizzard flying through the air, over Papalymo’s head and striking the butte once more. “Very well done! Now keep that up and-” the ground begins to rumble. Papalymo slowly turns to look toward the large rock formation the two have been using as target practice. Cracks start splintering from the crater, the large pillars of stone start to tilt. “Ah. Well. We should vacate the area now, I would think.” The cracks zip down and along the base of the butte and large sections start tumbling away, before the entire mass of rock starts tilting toward the pair. “Yes. Yep. Now would be a good time to ruuuuuun!”
The two quickly fall into a sprint, Papalymo zooming past the tired Ar’beunti as they outrun the avalanche of rock and stone. The novice’s adrenaline is able to compensate for her exhaustion and she catches up and keeps pace with the man half her size. They raise their hands to cover their heads as pebbles start raining down from above. They’re heads down, they see a shadow start to engulf them. They were not quite outrunning the otherwise stationary structure.
Papalymo, quick on his feet, draws his own staff and quickly fires off a orb of fire up into the tip of the butte that had shaded them, blasting it to pieces before planting his feet and charging another blast. Beau slides to a stop as she looks back at Papalymo taking the danger head on. Another Fire is flung off his staff and Beau watches as the lalafell becomes a silhouette among the light of the blast that crumbles the falling rocks. The main body of the rock slams into the ground, dust first engulfing Papalymo, then everything else in sight.
The deafening sound of rock crumbling and crashing settles. Beau coughs dust as she looks for Papalymo in the cloud of destruction.
It isn’t long before the sun shines through the settling rubble and she spots the small stature, standing upright, staff still at the ready. As the landscape becomes more and more visible, Beau finds there is solid rock all around them in a large U shape. Papalymo had cleared a strategic chunk of the butte to create a safe space for the pair.
Papalymo puts his staff back on his back and turns to face Ar’beunti with a smile. “Now remember. Fire, Fire, Fire, then Blizzard, Blizzard, Blizzard.”
Whumptober day 12— cave in
I only had the idea for this late last night and that’s also when I wrote most of it and I’m very tired so basically abdshjkldsgjkdkjg
No warnings really
Ao3 link
————————————————————
“Hey, did you hear that?”
Twilight paused at Wind’s question, twitching an ear up.
All he could hear was faint birdsong in the trees above them, and the wind blowing sharply through the tall canyon they were walking through. Also Wild and Legend’s faint conversation from in front of them, but nothing out of the ordinary.
“No, what was it?” he asked curiously, and Wind shrugged as Hyrule walked up.
“I don’t know. I thought it was like, a rocky sound? Sort of?” he shrugged. “I don’t know, somebody probably just kicked a pebble off the cliff.”
Hyrule chuckled. “So long as it’s not an enemy, I think we’re—“
The traveler suddenly froze, pulling to an abrupt stop.
Twilight and Wind stopped as well, giving him worried looks, and Hyrule appeared to strain his ears, listening intently. Twilight pricked his own ears, and picked up a faint noise, almost like a cracking sound, coming somewhere from along the edge of the canyon.
Twilight realized what it was at the same time as Hyrule, who’s eyes went wide.
They both began to run forwards to where Legend and Wild were walking a good ways in front of them, seemingly oblivious of any danger.
“Champion! Veteran! MOVE!” Hyrule screamed, and as the two heroes whipped around, the canyon walls around them suddenly caved in, huge rocks and debris raining down on them.
Twilight met terrified eyes with Legend for just a second before the rocks and dust blocked him from view, the canyon walls roaring with noise. Hyrule continued to run towards them, face twisted with desperation, but Twilight reached out and pulled him back, narrowly stopping him from being crushed by a large boulder.
He threw the two of them under a safe-enough looking overhang, and covered Hyrule’s head as the collapsing rocks roared around them, dust blocking the light.
It seemed like hours before the rumbling finally stopped and pebbles quit falling in on them, and Hyrule and Twilight shoved their way out of the alcove and looked around.
No sign of Wild or Legend.
Thick, cloying fear rose in Twilight’s throat as he looked out across the devastation, huge piles of rocks and dirt, a few trees pulled into the mix.
How on earth could they have survived that?
“Guys!”
Wind and the rest of the heroes ran up to where they were standing, and Hyrule seemed to snap out of his shock, throwing himself out of Twilight’s arms and shoving rocks and debris out of the path as fast as he could.
“Where are Wild and Legend?” gasped Sky, and Twilight only shook his head and began to help Hyrule dig.
Sky pulled out some thick looking gloves with claws on the ends and began to help, and Four pulled out a similar pair as well. The others all started to dig into the rocks, occasionally having to stop when debris shifted, and Twilight ignored the fact that he was absolutely panicking and continued to dig.
Wild and Legend were somewhere underneath all of this, he’d found dozens of huge boulders that could have crushed both of them, what if they—
“...k...p...”
Twilight froze, and motioned the other Links near him to stop digging.
“What was that?” Four asked quietly, and Twilight shushed him, looking around with his ears pricked.
“...ick...up...!...”
Six pairs of eyes slowly focused on Wind, who was looking around in utter confusion at the voice that seemed to be coming from his direction.
“WIND PICK UP!”
The sailor jumped at the shout and grabbed at the necklace around his neck, staring in hope at the small bluish rock.
A crackly version of Legend was just barely visible in the stone.
“Legend! Are you and Wild okay?” Hyrule gasped as he joined Wind’s side, and Twilight heard Legend cough.
“I’m alright,” he croaked, voice cutting out off and on as he spoke. “Champion got cracked on the head....too dark to really....unconscious. You digging us out?”
“Yeah, we’re digging you out, just hold on,” Warriors said, and Legend coughed again.
“Good. Cause I don’t know how much longer I can keep the roof up.”
The Links all threw themselves back into their work, Wind regularly checking in on Legend. The veteran’s voice grew weaker the longer they took, and Twilight’s panic only grew, his hands shaking as he practically threw rocks out of the way.
“Here!”
Twilight moved closer to Hyrule, who was shoving his hand into a small hole.
“I think this is it!”
Twilight began to help him, clearing the debris more carefully now that there was a chance this could be where Legend and Wild were. He and Hyrule together shifted a huge rock to the side, and suddenly there they were. Twilight peered in, and caught sight of Legend clutching Wild with one hand while the other gripped a rod of some kind, a bright orange block holding the rocks back above their heads.
Wild had blood in his hair and wasn’t moving, and Twilight shoved rocks out of the way even faster, noting the way Legend’s arm shook.
“‘bout time you all got here,” the veteran coughed when he caught sight of them, voice raspy and weak.
The other heroes all converged on the spot, carefully clearing out what rocks they could so they could fish Wild and Legend out. It was slow going due to the way the rocks were piled, and they had several close calls where if a certain boulder had been moved it would have been disastrous.
Legend suddenly grunted and swayed a bit, and the rocks above him and Wild shifted, sending a couple stones down with an ominous rumbling noise.
“Move,” Twilight said quickly to Sky who was digging next to him, and he crawled into the hole they’d cleared, pebbles landing in his hair as he went.
He reached Wild and Legend, and the veteran gave him a small smirk.
“Fancy seeing you here,” he grunted, then let out a ragged cough.
“Pleasure’s all mine,” Twilight smirked back, and pulled Wild into his arms. “I’ll be right back, hold on.”
Legend gave a nod of acknowledgment, and Twilight began to crawl back out of the hole, Wild tucked securely against him. He pulled the champion out and handed him carefully over to the others waiting outside, them plunged back in.
He was halfway back to Legend when the ground heaved under him, throwing him the rest of the way into the air pocket. Actual large rocks were falling on him now, and Twilight knew he was going to have more than one bruise in the morning.
“Time to go!” he shouted at Legend, who looked downright pale.
He pulled the veteran into his arms, feeling him shake against him as he practically threw himself back up the hole. A huge rock slammed into the ground behind them, and Twilight winced as a good-sized one hit his shoulder.
He scrambled out of the hole and heard Warriors shout for everyone to get back, the canyon wall beginning to crumble behind them again. Legend still shook with exertion in his arms, clutching the rod in his hands with a white-knuckled grip, and Twilight spared a glance down at him as he dodged rocks from above.
“Legend, you can let go,” Twilight said once they’d gotten farther away, but Legend shook his head.
“Not yet. Need to get more, farther away,” he gritted out, face sweaty and pale. “Whole place is going to come down once I let go.”
Twilight sped his steps even more and soon met up with the others, who’d taken shelter in a solid-looking spot while Hyrule and Warriors looked over Wild. Twilight slid to his knees, gently setting Legend down, and the veteran finally released the magic that had been holding up the rocks.
A huge crashing noise came from where they’d just been trapped, and Legend fell back against Twilight’s lap, breathing shallowly.
Twilight took a second to take a deep breath, and reassure himself that everyone was alive.
“That was quite a trick,” he said in a relieved voice, watching Hyrule fix up Wild as much as he could. “Was that a magic rod? Or a ring or something?”
“Item,” Legend breathed, eyes drooping, “haven’t used it in a while. Magic’s rather... low, now.”
Twilight nodded, and gave Legend’s shoulder a squeeze. “Well you can rest now, you and Wild are safe. Thanks for watching out for him.”
Legend faintly chuckled.
“Don’ thank me, thank... cane of Somaria,” he muttered, and Twilight squeezed his shoulder again as he passed out.
HP/Avatar Crossover Drabble
Tumblr media
Harry stumbled through the veil after Sirius, feeling a hand latch onto his robe just as he went through. He landed with a thud against a concrete floor and looked behind him to see Hermione clutched onto him. They were in front of a large water fountain and there were kids hiding behind fallen rocks, screaming at them. He stood up, helping Hermione stand, keeping himself between her and the yelling kids. "Who the heck are they!" Yells Toph. "I don't know, but they're about to get sparky sparky boomed if they don't move! SO MOVE YOU ROBED WEIRDOS!" Sokka yelled at the two people who had appeared suddenly between them and the Combustion man.
Harry looked frantically around him for anything familiar, his hand reaching out and wrapping around Hermione, who was leaning against him heavily, clutching the side that Dolohov had wounded.
There was a loud boom and Harry glanced over his shoulder to see a strange blast of magic barreling at him.  It didn’t look like any spell he had ever seen and his wand whipped up quickly, "Protego!"
The barrier snapped into place, deflecting the spell and he waved it away pointing at the man across the valley who had shot at them. "Petrificus Totalis!!"
The spell hit the man who had attacked them and he collapsed hard against the ground.  The thump was audible even across the canyon that divided them, and a low rumbling started.  He and Hermione watched shocked as the rock beneath the man crumbled and he began to fall over the side of the cliff. Harry shot out several spells rapidly but missed and the man plunged to his death.
"What kind of bending was that!" yelled an excited Aang darting from near Katara.
Harry drew back from the strange child with a large arrow on his forehead pushing Hermione behind him.
“Aang!” Katara yelled, throwing off Zuko’s arm from where he still had her elbow gripped after yanking her out of the way of a falling rock.
“Where are we?” Hermione whispered in a panic behind Harry.
A girl wearing strange blue clothes grabbed onto the younger kid before he could get close to them and he squirmed against her, trying to throw off her hold.
Harry’s hand shook just a bit. He wanted to know where Sirius was, and he was a little freaked out that he had just caused some unknown person's death- even if he had been shooting strange spells at them.
“I know who they are!” Sokka shoved aside Toph, coming to stand near where Katara still gripped Aang tightly.
“Who are they then?” Asked Zuko sarcastically, eyeing the newcomers suspiciously. He had just been trying to win everyone over and now these two show up to save the day. He was sure he could have talked his assassin down eventually, maybe offer him more money–or the promise of more money since he had none currently.
“They’re obviously some benevolent cult with strange magical powers! He went, petrified tater tot! And bam! That was the end of Combustion Man.”
“He’s more annoying than Ron.” Muttered Hermione behind him.
Toph crawled out from the rock shelter she had been in and dusted off her knees, her white eyes regarding them curiously. “It’s really hard to sneak up on me and I don’t know how you two managed it—it's like you magically appeared right in front of us.” Then she paused, turning to Sokka. “I thought he was Sparky Sparky Boom man.”
Sokka tapped his boomerang against his arm. “Nah, he’s dead now so we gotta give him something more intimidating as a worthy, but now defeated, foe. It's good manners.”
“You don’t care that I just killed someone?” Harry asked, shocked.
The group of kids looked at each other, except for the short-haired girl in white, and turned back and shrugged. “Better him than us,” said Katara firmly, and everyone nodded.
Aang meanwhile hadn’t stopped his intent inspection of the two newcomers, his senses whispering to him. “Um, guys?” he finally stopped trying to pull away from Katara and instead straightened out so he was blocking more of her from the strangers.
“What twinkle toes?” Toph asked, her head still cocked as she concentrated on what she could feel under her still slightly wounded feet. Maybe it had been the burns that made it so she didn’t feel their approach?
Aang pressed up against Katara, causing her to back up a step as he stared wide-eyed at the black-robed teenagers. “I think that—I think that—they’re not from this universe.”
WIP Word Search Game
tagged by @aeide, who gave me some really hard words to find that weren’t total spoilers 😂
Dream - from my unfinished HadesxOdyssey crossover There is No Escape...
Zagreus knows how to fight off multiple opponents at once, and what’s more, he’s fantastic at it. He knows how to exploit the weaknesses of his opponents, how to spot the gaps in their defense and attack when they don’t expect it. But it took time and practice to get that good, and he’s never fought Kassandra before. Hell, he’s never even fought someone like Kassandra before.
Kassandra fights with a blade in each hand, her attacks perfectly coordinated in a way Theseus and Asterius could only dream of. No matter how quickly he moves, she is always already there, attacking right before he can strike. There are no weaknesses to exploit, no gaps in her defense. Zagreus barely has the chance to block one attack before he has to parry the next and then another and another, over and over and over again until one of Kassandra’s blades is slashing across his side, ripping deep into his flesh, so close she nearly cuts into his ribs.
Stygius clatters to the ground a second later and one of Kassandra’s blades rests at his throat before Zagreus can even really process what has happened.
March(es) - from the Boeotia arc of The Children of Kephallonia
Kassandra takes a long deep breath to keep from lashing out in frustration. He’ll be seen if he goes that way, and as much as she’d like to, she knows she can’t just leave him here: “Our boat is just below.”
It’s an unspoken invitation, but she doesn’t bother to see if he accepts before she spins on her heel and marches towards the cliff side. She twists her body midair to catch the rocks and start climbing down, and Phoibe follows a few moments later. Nikolaos joins them after a minute, and he reaches the ground long after they do. She makes him sit on the opposite side of the boat from Phoibe, and stands between them as she paddles to block his view of her daughter.
Eventually, he clears his throat and asks, “Did you find your mother?”
“Ruling Naxos,” she eventually decides to share. Nikolaos did tell her that Myrrine was alive in the first place, she can give him that much in return.
Shade - from Harry II of Not a Malákes Ravenclaw
He instantly forces himself to straighten up, mentally patting himself on the back for not throwing up, “Hi, Phoibe.”
Phoibe moves her mug to her left hand and holds out her right in greeting. He reaches for hers, trying not to blush at the idea of getting to hold her hand for even just a second, and is sorely disappointed when she grips his forearm instead, “It’s good to see you again, Harry.”
Her eyes are a very pretty shade of brown and they crinkle at the corners when she smiles. He isn’t able to keep himself from blushing this time.
“Harry!” Sirius’ voice comes from the doorway, and he pulls away from Phoibe as if he’s been caught doing something wrong. His godfather smirks as he wraps him in a big hug, whispering in his ear, “Got a little crush, don’t you?”
“Shut up,” he hisses back, “Don’t say anything.”
Steal - from my brand new WIP A Flap of an Eagle’s Wings, which is another time travel fix it fic because I have a problem 😬
Then there is another rolling crack of thunder, the world goes white behind her closed eyes, and a bond that has been broken for almost two thousand years snaps back into place as she is thrown from Mount Taygetos a second time.
She opens Ikaros’ eyes to see the horror in Nikolaos’ eyes, the way he lurches forward as if to try and catch her and the way his face fills with grief when his hand grabs nothing but air. She watches her mother scream her name and nearly throw herself off the mountain after her, only to be stopped by Nikolaos and the other Spartans.
The last thing she sees before Ikaros forces her back to herself is the fury in Myrrine’s eyes as she steals her husband’s sword from his waist and lunges for his throat.
Wood - from the Mykonos arc of The Children of Kephallonia
Immediately, every spear in the place is pointed in her face, and she keeps Phoibe behind her with her arm, “I’ve come in response to a call for help.”
A dagger flies past her face mere fingers from her nose, driving deep into the wood of a nearby post. Phoibe squeezes her hand tight in fear and she narrows her eyes and follows the blade’s path, “You missed.”
The woman who threw the dagger does not move but to finish her wine, draining the horn and turning it over to prove it’s empty. A wicked grin crosses her face as she stalks forward, “Are you a spy, Athenian? Or perhaps you are Athena herself, dressed in a dirty disguise.”
Kassandra exaggerates looking down at herself, “I didn’t think it was that dirty.”
Phoibe stifles a snort and no one else even smiles. That’s okay though - the joke was just to reassure Phoibe.
A Bubble of Peace
Part 3
Tumblr media
The vehicles had finally come to stop in a small forest, with a trail leading to the lake.
"See! I told you, Vin! No people!" Lester grinned. "Ya'll oughta trust me more..."
"Yeah yeah so you were right, so what?" Bo asked.
"So cry about it, honeysuckle..." Lester snarked.
There was barking in the distance as Jonesy tackled Lester. "There's my baby girl!!"
The girls finally joined them. "Long truck ride?" Ava asked as she sat in the bed of Bo's truck with Lester.
"Time flew by actually..." Bo smiled, grabbing his towel and Percy's hand. "This trip was a good idea." Vincent smiled, taking off his mask and setting it in his things.
"Well then what are we waiting for?!" Ellie piped up, "let's get going this lake is gorgeous!!"
All three couples made their way, the scenery was beautiful, the sun shone on the lake without a cloud in the sky. A perfect day for an outing like this.
Ellie was putting plenty of sunscreen on Vincent so he didn't burn and an umbrella to put up to shield him.
Bo and Percy laid their towels down as Percy removed her top and made sure her black cover up was on tight. She looked around nervously before Bo tapped her and motioned for her to turn around. "Don't want you to burn neither, Darlin'." He smiled, rubbing sun screen on her back. "S'pretty bathing suit you got on~ wonder if it looks better on the ground than it does on you?" He purred quietly in her ear. "You shush..." Percy giggled.
Ava was busy getting her face and arms. "Les? Can you come get my back for me hon?" Easy to say after all the times Lester's slept with Ava, he was still nervous about touching her this intimately. He still managed to get all the space on her back though. "Thanks Baby." She kissed him. He blushed and gave her a hug as Jonesy interrupted them giving them a flurry of kisses.
After a while the gang was enjoying themselves, reading in Bo and Percy's case, sketching or playing fetch with Jonesy and a stick. Ava was standing near the start to the lake as Percy handed her glass of wine to Bo.
She silently gestured to Ellie and made a swinging motion. Ellie grinned and gave eachother a wicked look. The girls grabbed Ava by her arms and leg steady to throw Ava into the lake. Ava screamed as the girls counted.
"One!"
"Two!"
"Three!!!" Both girls yelled as Ava made a splash into the lake. Ellie and Percy were on the ground laughing their asses off as Ava came up for air. "The fuck?!"
"We couldn't resist!!" Percy cried.
"We came up with it as we were planning the trip, it had to happen Ava, I'm sorry..." Ellie cackled.
Bo and Vincent stared, surprised and both cracked up laughing. Ava and Lester rolled their eyes. "We'll get'chu back for that!"
"Yeah, sure!"
Time went by and they stopped for lunch, Ellie having packed an entire picnic.
The girls were on a sloped hill side just hanging out in the grass as Ellie made flower crowns from dandelions. "Ava you make a pretty damn good scout, this place is gorgeous..." Percy smiled.
"this place is practically magical...." Ellie smiled, looking over the edge and watching the boys skip rocks on the edge of the water and keeping tally. "It's so nice to see them, acting like brothers again..." Ava smiled.
The girls all gave eachother a hug. "You know what this needs? A picture..." Ava smiled. They agreed and with the lake in the backround they took a nice photo. And then Ava pushed Ellie and Percy over the cliff into the deep lake. Both came up for air, treading water. "Hey!!" Percy yelled up to Ava, Getting the boys attention. "The fuck?!"
"Cry about it, honeysuckle! I told you I'd get you two back!" Ava grinned, walking away.
The girls got out as Lester was laughing his head off. "That's my girl, Ava!"
Bo and Vincent were not having it, deciding to wrestle with their kid brother. "Yeah but our girls got yours first!!" Bo proclaimed.
After all of that died down the group was all pretty exhausted from playing a few brackets of chicken. The driver's switched as Bo Vincent were asleep and so was Jonesy, Ava and Percy.
It had been a very, very good day. And the sunset was even more beautiful. The end to a perfect day.
The End.
FFXIV Write Day 12: Quarry
If Robin had known he would be chasing his quarry with a pickaxe instead of his knives, he might have second-guessed his decision to take this mission.
It was supposed to be simple: some codebreakers thought they’d escape their fates by fleeing to Ul’dah, pretending to be refugees—in a sense, they were, now—but the shadows of their pasts still sought them out, long since on the hunt. The only reason they had even gotten so far was because of a series of unfortunate events that Robin will swear to the day he dies never happened as the others will tell it.
He will also make sure to tell the rest of the tale very differently, if they even convince him that he even should speak a word more of it.
The current situation was this: Robin, in bright yellow overalls, carries a satchel full of rocks and ore he will gladly throw in the miner’s guild direction, following two of the other newest recruits to the miner’s guild as they made their way through the deserts of Ul’dah, seeking for an impossible speck of gold in sand, as subtle as a man whose clothing choices scream “look at me I am a bright ball of sunshine, loudly existing”
It works. If pressed, it’s Robin’s experience that makes it work. In actuality, Robin is 50 percent certain it is because the two remaining suspected codebreakers can’t hold their liquor.
The newest recruits of the miner’s guild, everyone.
Even if these two weren’t his target—Robin is absolutely certain they are, and is only even bothering with half-secret cat and mouse game is because he knows there’s one more shipment they’re hoping to sell as soon as they think the coast is clear, but, considering the fireworks display that Robin absolutely did not start, they didn’t quite get the information as quickly as they had hoped—he is reporting these two to the guildmaster, after all this.
These two buffoons, drunk as they were, probably wouldn’t even recognize gold right now. The roedygon might even one day look at the smaller hyur’s blonde head and think that’s something to use his pickaxe on, and Robin is not eager to witness that kind of bloodbath.
Or even notice Robin, in these stupid, damn overalls, and whack him without even knowing Robin has actually been following them for the past half hour. Yes, he’s trying to be incognito, but the pair of work clothes provided by the guild were anything but.
“How long, hic, do we do ‘dis.” The hyur stumbled, catching himself on the cliff wall.
“Jus’ a few more,” the roedygan replied, taking their pickaxe and swinging at the wall with what Robin, amateur as he was, knew wasn’t proper form. It skidded down the side of the wall, clumsily swinging towards his companion, but missing by a few inches.
It was enough to make the hyur giggle. “Oh, dats cool… few more days… then we’ll get richer!”
Drunk people were, pathetically, useful sources of information. Robin had to hold back a sigh as he resolved to try and get just a little closer, considering the hyur managed to grab his flask of likely ale and stupidly takes another swig. Their speech would be slurring sooner than later, and Robin, more than ever, craved eavesdropping from the rafters.
A few more days, it sounded like. Assuming his quarry didn’t die from a mining accident, dehydration, or alcohol poisoning first.
First Sentence Meme
Put down the first sentence of every fic you wrote/posted this last year (2022).
Under the cut bc I'm too lenghty for this shit
1 When they said their farewells, at the small sandy cove where Robert Baratheon had precariously anchored his galley, Asha threw her arms around Father's neck and whispered in his ear to not worry, that they would run at the first chance, that it might take some time but they were both old and brave enough to show the wolves what it meant to rise again, harder and stronger.
2 Sam was the first to see the shores of Harlaw, as it happened, because he had been taking the air by the prow, wishing despite himself to sequester himself away from the eyes of his goodbrother, who seemed to take every sign of nausea as an affront to the strength and grace of the precious Redwyne dromond he had so generously offered for the journey.
3 "Deep in the meadow, under the willow," the delicate doe-eyed Victor of the Seventyfourth warbles between carols on the stage hastily decorated for her winter charity tour.
4 They found Robb’s jerkin and empty swordbelt first, thrown haphazardly and half-covered in the light summer snow.
5 Somewhere near Harrenhal, somewhere only faintly to the north of where they were the day before and far, so far from Riverrun, Weasel wakes screaming for her mama and Arya would like to cry as well, even though she's too old for such things.
6 It was easier to answer the police's questions than his uncle, after they pulled him out of the car.
7 Robb giggled and elbowed Theon in elation when the rookery boy accosted maester Luwin during their lessons with a letter sealed in black and gold
8 “I understand you wish to be close to your gods and… your brother, my lady regent,” Nestor Royce valiantly tries for gallantry as the weirwood sapling is loaded on the wheelhouse.
9 “There will only be one cabin,” is the first thing he tells his lady wife as they come aboard the ship Varys provided for them.
10 The ferry to Novyj Zem is bustling with old ladies going home or fleeing the war, that look at him oddly when he throws a coin at Milo and he fetches it back, licking his hand for salt when he takes it back.
11 He's clad in soft, light silks - white tunic, rose doublet, blue damask cloak, Balthazar giggled he looked like the Virgin Mary when he helped him pick his wedding suit.
12 The marking starts stinging right when he gives up on looking for Romeo and starts looking for beads and charms to pilfer in Lady Capulet’s drawers, which is meaningful, he hates to admit.
13 By the time they'd hidden the dinghy under the low rocky cliff of Blacktyde and made the trek to the nearest inn the excitement of the flight had worn off.
14 "We are not planning anything!" Romeo cried for the upteenth time.
15 By the time Asha deigned to come down the Sea Tower Theon had been huddled down on the rocks for hours, staring at the wall of dark clouds on the horizon.
16 Theon was pulled out of sleep as if out of water, breathless, twitching, eyes and ears burning with the pain of the whole world being suddenly sucked into them.
17 Benvolio sat on the floor by the bed, holding Mercutio' limp hand as the surgeon stitched his side back together.
18 The Ascension is the first holiday after Giovanna’s daughter turned her pretty pink damask cloak on her own dead and living kin, and seeing her sit golden and smiling in her new family’s pew is a dagger to her heart every time she looks at her.
19 The air was hot and sultry as chicken soup at someone’s sickbed, heavy and cloying down his throat, pearls in his hair.
20 Dolokhov was counting money in the living room when they came in, hair tousled and shirt unbuttoned and rolled up to his elbows.
Honestly I often go for months, years between having dreams I can actually remember but I’ve had two this week.
The first one I had I dreamed of an unnamed goddess. Or rather her name simply didn’t come up in the dream. She wasn’t worshipped any more really, which I was somewhat aware of. However I had, apparently, somehow, deeply offended her.
She looked like the oracle from that Aladdin sequel, The King of Thieves:
Tumblr media
Like I said: I had somehow deeply offended her, to the point she was trying to kill me. I remember being on the coast of some sea side town and another person I was talking to about it going ‘Jesus Christ, is she throwing a missile at you with her bare hands?’. But for some reason I just sounded tired and said ‘She‘ll try’, even as the other person started screaming as they looked through a telescope at her.
I got the impression that she had been trying to kill dream me for while now but never had succeeded so I was getting a little bored. (Very strange aspect of my dreams: I’ll often have what should be nightmares but my dream self does not react appropriately, at all. I’ll usually be annoyed or angry. Sometimes nice. But not scared: which is funny because in real life I’m a wimp.)
Anyway she beefed it and dropped the missile on herself on the small island she was standing on. She shrank to a more human size. Then I was on a boat and went towards her as she seems to be on her knees. I helped her stand up onto it with me and she suddenly decided that meant we must marry. Oddly enough that somehow unnerved dream me in the dream far more than the murder attempts. Because marriage of course was a big deal. Then I woke up.
In the second dream I dreamed that I was trying to talk to Hercule Poirot into helping me but he was busy with another case. I was also holding a baby. Defeated, I slinked off back to my car. I think I was parked just outside an American city of some kind, though I still drove on the left so clearly my mind is incapable of proper research.
Anyway this bitch of a blonde woman who I think was in her mid 20s looked at me mockingly and said ‘Aw were you trying to get help? So sad’ And she sat in the passenger seat with a knife at my face as her husband (a big burley muscle man with black hair who looked like one of the evil exes from Scott Pilgrim) sat behind with the baby in a booster seat. (Their daughter). The man said nothing but he was consistently a silent observer who could clearly break my neck without trying.
As it turned out this couple had kidnapped me as use for transport and a babysitter during their vacation or whatever across America (?!). Anyway I liked the baby in the dream but absolutely haaated the parents and knew in my heart they would kill me eventually. I pictured my body buried under rocks.
But later on in the dream they were taking photos near a cliff during a scorching hot summer desert day (is there a desert near an ocean in America?) and I, being in a foul mood, and being in the car still: basically drove violently forward into them, throwing the man completely off the cliff to his death. The woman however (who was just badly injured) was spitting blood and yelling that she would kill me but I just reversed and then drove off.
Then I realised I still had the baby in the back seat but then I just said ‘Hey want to go to New York?’ And the baby laughed and then I woke up.
Vision marking is a way to get someone to be dependent on another. We talked about mild lovers but now here are the ones who would put their darling through high amounts of mental and physical damage from their marks.
Diluc’s mark is physiologically damaging.
It’s just one small change…. You just can’t go outside the plantation any longer. You must understand! It’s for your own good, there’s dangerous monsters and people out there. In here is safe. He explained to you cupping your small hands with a soft smile. At first Diluc can take a bit of resistance, you yelling at him, disobeying him, escape attempts… he gets you need time to adjust to your new found life but… if it’s prolonged, that’s were he has a problem. Nothing is going to change from yesterday! Just stop trying. You’re starting to piss him off. He won’t tolerate you raising your voice at him anymore, he won’t tolerate you throwing tantrums, he won’t tolerate you disobeying him. You’re acting like a brat, he’s giving you shelter! He’s giving you food! He’s giving you protection! He’s giving you love! How could he make you see that outside is dangerous… how could he make you see how much he loves you enough to keep your from that… “hmm? Vision marks you say…?”
He watched you another night of you refusing to eat and screaming at him like the toddler you were. His blood is boiling, his face calm and his eyelids shut. He soon came up to you towering over you and your voice died out. He just simply…stared. He then gently grasped your palm, his hand glowing a little as he did so“W-what are you doing?!” You said your voice shaking but still trying to sound like you owned the place. “I’ve given it a lot of thought and actually… you’re right… go.” He told you releasing your palm, a pyro mark on it now. He stepped aside and moved out of the way ushering you to the door. You stared in disbelief… after a month in that hell hole he just let you go? You weren’t going to complain! Your hand reached for the door and- in seconds you were on a cliff side. You were already set in motion, you couldn’t save yourself, you fell to your demise. A sharp stalactite impaled you, cutting your stomach in too. It ripped your flesh apart, your blood and organs seeping out onto the rock. You took a sharp breath. Blood began rushing out of your lips due to your lungs being punctured. You were in excruciating pain in your lower half, your body was burning and freezing. You stared at the ground feeling yourself bleed out on these rocks. You were going to die. You blinked being pulled back into your body. Still in the home Diluc had bound you too, breathing heavily a sigh of relief when you felt your body was still together as one. Once you recuperated you stared at the male with red locks a look of fear on your face, you thought you had met your fate.. Diluc stared at you with a straight face. “If you leave this home, you’ll only experience death. That’s the only thing waiting for you on the side of this door…” with his vision mark, he’s forcing you to see what he sees, this way you’ll be protected.
Kaeya’s mark makes your heart stop.
Kaeya isn’t one to lock you up. No he takes you everywhere. But all your kicking and screaming, yelling for help. Catching the attention of knights. Gosh with all of this he can’t help but get rid of a few people. He’ll break you down. “Why are you like this? This is why no one likes you.” “You have no friends, no family, I’m the only thing good in your life and yet you…. Push me away…” “you’re a burden, I can’t go anywhere without you squeaking. You’re akin to a misquote in my ear.” “Do you secretly enjoy when you ask for help and then someone goes missing? You pyschopath.” That should shut you up. Yes your more quiet and more afraid of Kaeya but… you still don’t obey him. You don’t come when he calls, you don’t kiss back, you just don’t love him….. well he can’t bully you into loving him…. But a vision mark can….
Kaeya stares at you. “Really? Do I even need to say anything about this one?” Another failed escape attempt ended up in Kaeya freezing your lower half before you could even sprint a meter away. Your body was shivering from the cold and he came up to you shaking his head as he watched you struggle in amusement. “You don’t find this pathetic? Do you not have a single bone of shame in your body?” He asked tapping on the thigh he had froze. It was bound to catch frostbite if left any longer. The sun going down, it wouldn’t be able to melt naturally. He pondered to leave you here until noon as punishment. “Hmm I’m feeling rather kind today.” He said finding the ice’s weak point and breaking it off causing most of it to shatter. Your right leg was still encased in ice… He did it on purpose. You then felt the warmth of his hand cup your cold shaking thigh. He examined it then his icy hues went up to you. “What the hell are you waiting for?! Unfreeze me!” You cried while the male was silent. Suddenly you felt your body pulse. The ice breaking from the mer shockwave and you fell to the ground below. Your thighs shaking heavily and twitching. Your head shot up and looked down at your thigh he touched. A cyro mark was now your upper thigh. “What- what did you do to m-“ “let me ask you a question.” He cut you off. He strutted over to you, his boots soon came into your vision. He bent down and held your cheeks staring into your eyes. “Do you love me?” “…” “No-“
Your heart stopped.
You couldn’t breath. Your body stopped. You simply stopped being alive. Your body limp but you felt everything. The pain of your body shutting down and giving up on you. The only thing you could move was your eyes. “Tell the truth. Tell the truth. Tell the truth. Tell the truth.” You heard in your mind, the only thing in your brain that was working. The truth? “Yes!” You could finally breath. You heaved out holding onto Kaeya’s arm. Your body starting up it’s functions again, the pain of everything starting up at once, your stomach continuing to digest while your brain was just waking almost sent bile to your throat. Your nerves on fire and heighten like you were a newborn. You stared into Kaeya’s blue hues while he could only smirk. His mark will force you to tell the truth, HIS truth, or else you won’t be able to function.
Tartaglia’s mark is akin to pandora’s box
Tartaglia is quite impulsive Nobody can really tell what he’s thinking or has a reason on why he did certain things. To begin with he loves putting up a facade. He doesn’t really care about looks he’ll just flirt with random girls just wanting to hear their response. If you stand out to him and say something threatening, congratulations! Tartaglia now owns you! Well you did say you were going to break his face, but now you can’t even move from those chains. He loves your helplessness, he’ll laugh in your face while you struggle. All talk no bite, and he loves it. But he gets bored quick… so he pokes and prods, teasing, pinching, insults, spanking,kissing, gifts, cuddles, everything just hurts a smidge more then the last. Your reactions he’ll never get bored of though, he loves it. The sight of fear the second he steps in the room, the slight irritation when he kissed you, the flinch when he goes and raises his arm. But now he’s stumped… what can he do now? He has already tormented you to the best of his abilities… Vision marks! How could he forget…
Tartaglia held you close. His lips brushing up against your neck as he kept your body close to him. His arms wrapped around your waist, you winced his hands going over recent burns he had put on you. He chuckled as somehow you were still tense after being with him so long. He kissed your neck smiling all the way while his hands slowly began to move upwards. “Hey…” he whispered with no purpose, somehow getting closer to you on the bed. He grinned watching the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. “I wanna try something…” and before you know it, you’re being choked. He squeezes your wind passageway, you gasp and your arms shoot up to try to unleash his hands but his grip is tight. He’s grinning while you’re heaving and straining for air. “Come on I ain’t gonna kill ya.. stop struggling.” He says while laughing at you struggling. Suddenly you felt your heart beat through your neck. A pulse rang out through your body, a force of power shooting through it. He releases you with a smile and you can finally breath. You gasp out holding your throat and scooting away from him. “W-what did you do?!” You asked in confusion. He grinned looking at you and your neck. There staring back at him was his hydro mark on your neck and inching down your back. “I wanted to try something fun! So I marked you!” He gleamed not quite knowing what effect it would have on you. The next days of your life were a living hell. If you talked to loudly, if you moved away from him, even at times where you simply stared at him, your body would spasm in pain. The place was random, the heart, your stomach, your shoulder. You never knew why or how he did this but the mark on your neck had to have something to do with this. Tartaglia could only laugh at you when you broke down in pain because of him. Not daring to talk back, in fear it’ll trouble you again. His mark his random, but brutal.
Albedo’s is of similar nature because he simply wants to see what happens.
You’ll become Albedo’s darling out of bad luck. Either you lost your way and knocked on his cabin’s door, your a wandering nomad camping on the mountains or he just sees you one day visiting his brewery in town (A quick strike to the head and he’s good to go.) “you’re for science.” He tells you. He treats you like an experiment mostly because you are. He just found you and got the idea of ‘how would a unnatural being like me deal with a companion?’ And boom you awaken three hours later, dizzy, dazed, tied up and a strange male telling you, you’re his lover now. He documents everything you do and the feeling you give him when you do it, for the first couple of weeks he allows you to do whatever you want. He even lets you escape, tell others and think you can go back to your normal life. Only for the next day you to wake up still in his cabin, those people you told missing and you by his side. Once he looks at a chart of your actions and his feelings he simply tries to ‘remove’ those traits and actions from your being. He’ll do this by restricting you to the point where he takes away all of your senses, blindfolded, nose clogged, untouched and unable to move for 48 hours. If that doesn’t work he moved on to electro shock therapy with slimes if that doesn’t work…. He’s stumped…. Wait! How could he forget?! Vision marks… they can do a lot can’t they?
He sighed wiping sweat from his brow. He never looked angry but you could feel his anger through his stone cold stare. “Weeks of research lost…” he whispered walking over to the desk, holding up soggy papers coated in an unfinished potion, purple goo. The ink getting wet and smudging the words “All because you wanted to act like a child have a hissy fit.” He told you looking at you with a slight glare. You crossed your arms putting your hands on your hip. “You’re the one who kidnapped me! You’re the reason why I have a buzzing in my head! Deal with it!” You yelled. Albedo rolled his eyes. You really were just a stupid little kid weren’t you? It sure seemed that way, blessed with beauty but no brains found anywhere. Why can’t you see?! He’s doing all of this for science. You’re apart of his research! You’re helping society! How could he make you see? How could he make you see?! Howcouldhe-howcouldhe- albedo’s body was shaking, his blood boiling on the inside his eyes spaced out as he was thinking. Staring at you as if he could just snap you in half. And then… it stopped. He stared at you and slowly walked up to you taking off his gloves. Suddenly you were slammed against the wall, his hands around your neck and squeezing you. They began to glow a light gold as he stared into your hues. “This will make you see… your helping my research.” He whispers in your ear as you gasp for air unable to breath. A burning through your neck and shot of power phasing through you like another being had entered your mind. He drops you… your body twitches and moves on its own… gaining oxygen in your lungs you reach up to grasp your neck feeling a Geo mark now on it. Albedo looms over you then looks to the mess you made on his desk. “Clean it up. Now.” He stated. “Yes, of course for science.” It was as if you were watching yourself move through a screen unable to control yourself as you cleaned the desk. Albedo smiled softly watching you. Finally you see now, you’ll stop pushing him away and throwing fits.He’s brushes your hair for science, he experiments on you for science, he’s feeding you for science, he’s fucking you for science. It’s all for science.
Archons bless you if Scaramouche marks you.
To become scaramouche’s darling two criteria have to be met. 1: he’s bored. 2: be innocent. He loves breaking people down, so if he’s bored, your innocent and he catches your eye. Congratulations you’ve won a leash and chain around your neck that says ‘Scaramouche’. On your hands and knees, never stand up around him (Especially if you’re taller then him). He calls, immediately look at him, if not you’ll get shocked. If you look at him you’ll get shocked. If you talk to him you’ll get shocked, beg, cry, even breath the wrong way, you’ll get shocked. On some of your first days you’ll be left paralyzed, foaming at the mouth unable to move and Scaramouche could only laugh at your pathetic stature. Taking his hand and petting up your cheek. If your paralyzed he won’t wait for you to come too, he’ll simply drag you along by your leash letting your body rag doll and get bruised from his dragging. But soon… he’s frustrated. Watching you fumble like a idiot unable to walk due to his electricity or even form words is so fucking hilarious (and sexy). But he’s generally pissed off when you don’t obey him. What the fuck is your problem? Are you stupid? A simple farm animal would get the concept of “listen or get hit” but here you are defying him? He needs to calm himself down before he actually permanently hurts you, but you’re just so stupid and dumb… how could he get you to listen to him. Vision marking… ahh yes. He’ll brand you like a cow.
He growled lowly stepping towards you. You began to shake with fear, that was the look he gave before bad things would happen. with the constant frying of your skin and brain… you began to think they were going to get damaged at some point. He crossed his arms to his chest looking at you up and down, you stood on your knees as straight as possible while he circled you like a shark waiting to pounce on its next meal. “M-master what did I-“. “I don’t remember giving you permission to speak did i?” You stood silent unable to move at his voice. You locked up and slowly shook your head. Scaramouche grinned licking his lips, you were so sweet at times. A red hue came to his cheek staring at you seeing you obey him so easily. He gave you a simple pet of affection, unable to touch anymore of your disgusting body. “I was just staring at you and wondering…” “where to put my mark…” He watched in amusement feeling your head slightly shake. Your soul was itching to leave your body just from that sentence. A mark? A physical mark? What was he going to do? Abuse me so badly it sure to leave a physical mark in my body?! You thought inside unable to speak while his two gentle fingers picked up your cheeks. “Tell me… where would you like to be marked?” He asked. You had no time to think, keeping him waiting would only result in the worse. “My arm!” You squeaked out trying to keep your shaking and stuttering to a minimum. He stared at you taking his hand away from your sweat ridden face and bent down on one knee. “Alright…” he said with almost little interest. He grabbed your arm pulling it out of its socket. You screamed loudly feeling your arm come out of place. “Oops~ pulled too hard~” he muttered before slamming your arm back in place which caused even more pain to you. He licked his fanged teeth seeing your tears threaten to fall, he loved seeing you shrivel and cry. Now his hand still grasping your arm began to glow. And even more pain erupted through your body. Your hand giving a spasm while you couldn’t hold it in anymore, you had to scream. And scream you sure did, it was as if poison was running through your bloodstreams and you could FEEL it all. He watched you wither and cry, the pain bringing him joy and the feeling of love to his heart. The organ beating quickly while staring at you wiggle like a worm and scream out. He watched as a purple electro mark formed on your arm. He hummed walking over your body and putting a hand to his lips. “You’re lucky I let you pick the place to be marked… this will do you good, give you some brain cells in that hollow husk.” He told you. You were still screaming and crying. Okay, you were annoying him now, he loved seeing you hurt and cry but in small doses, the rest of it was annoying. “Stop screaming, it’s over.” He told you and your body immediately closed your lips. But it wasn’t over. You could feel the pain, the poison from the patch he put on you leak into your system. Pumping through your internal organs, feeling dread, misery, and melancholy. He realized you were listening now and grinned wickedly walking over to you, his tongue coming out of his mouth to lick your still flowing tears. “Good girl~”
Cw: praise, talks of snakes, lots of kissing, fingering, dirty talk, cursing, my bad puns, fem!reader
《 @kingkatsuki @miggiisdumb 》
♡♡
Thinkin about going on a wildlife tour in Australia, with a tour guide who loves pulling pranks on the tourists, telling them about dangerous snakes and getting them nervous and anxious, pulling up to a "snake hotspot" and holding in laughter when he plays a track of a rattlesnake and everyone panics, actually cackling out loud when he gets off to "make sure the fuckers didn't ruin his truck" and throws a rubber snake over the side, resulting in multiple screaming children and women and a man who mightve pissed himself.
Has to turn around to take everyone back cause they're sooo mad, and he just chuckles and yells out that,
"If ya' can't handle a lil' snake, yer' ain't cut out fa' Aussie, Mates!!"
He turns back around to drive off on his own personal tour and sees you sitting in the passenger seat, having moved up since everyone else got off.
"Where we headed now, Mista Tour Guide?"
The handsome blonde raises an eyebrow at you before grinning wildly.
"Well well well, I see lil' miss city girl ain't afraid."
"Of a rattlesnake? Please. We going or not?"
He laughs, rounding the car and hopping in, driving off and leaving a cloud of a dust in his trail.
You side eye him, checking him out subtly as he takes you back along the tour trail.
He looked shockingly good in khaki, shorts tight around his bulging thighs and white shirt straining to contain his muscular torso, rings and chain glistening in the afternoon sun. Sweat trickles down his neck, your eyes following the movement until it dissapears into his shirt, which is sticking to him due to him perspiring, giving you a view of intricate tattoos swirling along his chest and arms.
"Ya done starin', sweetheart?"
You smile, gazing into his red eyes as he looks at you from the corner of his eye.
"Nah, I'm not done. Could ya maybe pull over so I can get a better perspective?"
He chuckles at that, ears flushing pink as he tightens his grip on the steering wheel.
"Aren't ya here for a tour of Australia?"
"I've done my fair share of touring. I wanna explore."
As you say that last word, you trail a hand down his chest and tugging on his chain, watching his smirk fade as he subtly clenches his jaw, eyes narrowing on the road.
"Watch yerself, Gorgeous."
You sigh, leaning back onto your seat as you throw your head back against the wind.
"If you're too scared to show the city girl what it's like down under, I completely underst-"
You're cut off with a snarl, the tour guide pulling over to a spot near a ledge, turning off the car and grabbing your jaw.
"I ain't afraid of shit, little girl. You should be afraid, sittin on a cliff with a rando who's got you by the jaw."
You smile as best you can with his fingers on you, rolling your tongue out to lick at his hand.
His pupils dilate, breath hitching before he leans forward and catches your mouth in a rough kiss, wet fingers sneaking into your top and pinching at your nipples.
"Hah, what a fuckin' minx. You wanna get fucked on the side of the road like some whore?"
You mewl against his lips, panting as he slips his thick fingers lower, tracing soft, teasing circles on your panty clad cunt before giving it a firm smack, your mouth dropping open in shock and arousal.
"I asked y'a question, sweetheart. You want me to fold in fuckin' half and give you this dick? I can make you fucking scream."
You breathe a laugh, rolling your eyes teasingly as you thrust your hips against his big hand.
"P-please, as if. You're just a-ahhhh"
He gives another sharp slap to your pussy, this time directly on it. You hadn't even realized he had ripped them off, too busy trying to make a comeback.
"I'm just a what, Sweets? A fuckin' God? Say it, come on, tell me I'm makin you feel good with just a few pussy slaps. Let the whole fucking plain know who's making your thighs shake like that."
You huff, burying your face in his shoulder to muffle your moans when he slides a finger into you, but he quickly takes you up by your hair and drags you to his mouth, tongue rolling over yours and the deep baritone of his moans sending shockwaves to your core.
You shake and tremble as he kisses you, the feeling of his thumb rubbing slow, teasing circles on your clit and two of his warm, ring clad fingers curling inside you has you rushing towards release.
You bring one of your hands down to rub at his bulge, teasing over the spot where his tip is. He groans into your mouth, pulling away to pant against your lips as his eyes lock onto the creaminess of his fingers, your slick covering his hand.
"Shit. You're fucking dripping. All this for me, baby?"
You can't even scoff at him, only answering with a whimper when he starts to whole heartedly pump into you, rocking his hips against your hand.
You hit your peak suddenly, eyes rolling back and fingers tightening around his tip, causing him to choke on a gasp and bite down into your shoulder, hips shaking underneath you as you both cum.
When you finally get a bearing, you see a spreading damp spot on the cloth of his shorts, some creamy cum dripping down his thighs.
"Well shit. Down under really is fun."
"Shut the fuck up."
Scream For Me (11)
A/N:  Not sure why I’m even writing this because I’m fairly certain everyone and their mother no longer reads this (can’t blame anyone, I haven’t updated this in months) but here we are, with my nonsensical rambling. Good shit.
Masterlist
Pairings/Characters: Shang-Chi x Reader, Katy Chen, Greek Gods/Figures
Warnings:  depictions of violence, swearing, blood, minor references to drugs
Summary: Finally in Greece. I mean, how awkward can it be, right?
Previous Chapter: Scream For Me (10)
WC: 3.1k
Tumblr media
Packing your bags and boarding the plane to Greece, you were calm, cool, and collected. You didn’t seem nearly as nervous or frightened as you had been in the days leading up to your decision to get this done. Well, you seemed just as guarded about it as you had those times, but you did seem just a tad bit more relaxed as the day to depart approached. However, on the plane, it was an entirely different story.
Sitting in the middle was Shangqi, flanked by you and Katy on either side of him. Shangqi had on his headphones and was happily listening to music. Katy was eating the snack she had stolen from Shangqi, and you were humming along to the music playing in the movie your eyes were focused on, but that you weren’t paying any attention to in the slightest aside from the soundtrack. Shangqi’s hand was covering yours because he knew, without you saying anything at all, that you were overthinking this.
Why were you even doing this, really? You had a family of your own. It was your distressed little found family, held together by pieces of Scotch tape, but it was yours, and it had gotten you through most of your life, but you just couldn’t help yourself. This was finally your chance. You weren’t busy saving the world, obligated to go on missions, throwing yourself into danger anyway to help people around you. This was finally a moment for you to do something for yourself, and as much as it frightened you, you had to satisfy the curiosity you had your entire life.
Well, for the part of your life that you remembered, at least.
Arriving in Greece, the three of you went straight to your destination. Jet lag be damned, you three had packed light and timed it so you arrived early in the day and could get started right away. It was better to get this over with than give you time to pull out and go find a world tragedy to insert yourself into. With backpacks, the card you had been given with instructions, and a couple of snacks you had picked out, the three of you were hiking up the mountains of Olympus on a tourist-laden trail to your destination passed the Enipeas waterfall.
You three had stopped several times on the hike to rest, eat, and hydrate, given that the lengthy travel time had already taken away most of your energy. As you sat on a rock, sticking your feet in a small body of water while a few feet away from you children shrieked and splashed each other, Shangqi plunked down next to you, and Katy shoved him off the rock to sit on the floor while she sat beside you and he sucked his teeth.
“So what do we do when we pass the waterfall,?” Katy asked you. “Do we just shout or pray or something?”
“Not sure,” you confessed. “Thor travels through something called a Bifrost. He used to shout for Heimdall, but I think he does it all by himself now like a big boy. I’m just going to hope we don’t walk through some invisible portal and the other end is a cliff.”
“That’s something to think about,” Shangqi joked as he drank water and passed you the bottle. “Mount Olympus. Man, this is crazy. Also...do you think they speak English, or are we fucked?”
“Wait, can you speak Greek, Y/N?”
“I don’t think it’s exactly the same as what they spoke — or speak up there, but, no, not one of the languages I learned at SHIELD, wasn’t high on their list for me.”
“...Why do you know so many languages, Y/N?” Katy asked slowly.
“Blend in better when I went to kill people,” you shrugged as you checked your GPS. “Okay. We have a ways to go. The trail ends at Prionia. I don’t know if we go there, or if we just have to rent some gear and go up to the very tip of the mountain —“ The two of them groaned loudly, prompting you to do exactly what you thought you should do, abandon ship. “You’re right. This is dumb and exhausting, let’s go home.”
“No, no, come on. We’ll stop complaining,” Shangqi reached up and grabbed your thigh, his head falling back against your knee as he stared up at you. “We’re doing this. You went on my family’s crazy adventure, we’re going on yours.”
“Yeah. Plus, I want to brag about this to everyone we know. I may not be a lawyer, mom, but am I seeing Mount Olympus like in the Hercules movie and cartoon? Yes.”
You snorted and nodded, “Okay. Come on, then, just a little more to go.”
“That’s a kind way of putting it,” Katy whined as you stood up.
“Think of it as your cardio routine you keep putting off,” you said as you dusted off your pants. “Okay. Time to go.”
The three of you continued on your journey again, making it to Prionia late in the day, and having no clue of what to do next. Starving and tired, you went to a small restaurant to recover and get some much-needed food in your system. While your fiancé and best friend were looking through the menu, you were staring out the window and up at the mountain’s peak. Did you have to climb all the way up there? To what, jump off and hope it leads to another realm?
“Oh my god,” Katy moaned. “I want to fuck these potatoes.”
You chuckled to yourself until it hit you, and suddenly, you wanted to literally hit yourself, “Shit.”
“What?” Shangqi asked quickly.
“Remember how Katy drove us through the murder forest to get to Ta Lo and we ended up going through a —“
“No, not again,” Shangqi put his fork down. “I do not want to sit through that again.”
“No, no,” you said quickly. “I think we just need to...go back down and walk through the Enipeas waterfall.”
If looks could kill, you were certain they would have found the nearest reflective surfaces and killed themselves. They looked as though everything they ever did in life to lead them here was an instant regret, and you definitely had contributed to that, unfortunately for them. You offered an apologetic smile and said that dinner would be on you that evening, to which Katy sighed, nodded in agreement, and looked around for the nearest waiter so that she may add to her order.
You returned to staring out the window when you felt a gust of air blow. Your eyes traveled up and down to see where the wind was coming from but found nothing. You turned to Shangqi and Katy who were staring down at the table and frozen in place. Following their gaze, you saw yet another golden card resting on the table.
“Okay,” Shangqi nodded. “Maybe you should read it.”
“I don’t want to. I have so much regret over this trip already,” you mumbled quietly and grabbed the card. Joining Shangqi’s family affairs in another realm? Easy. Fighting Thanos? Stupid easy. Dealing with your own issues? Difficult.
Turning the card over, you read the cursive that glimmered against it.
Don’t turn around. You were right. You’re in the right place. Cross the bridge and wait by the arches.
“Good news, we don’t have to go back!”
“Thank god -- I’m not sending back what I ordered, though,” Katy said quickly.
“Bad news?” Shangqi asked.
“I don’t think so. Just a little short walk over the bridge and over to some arches. I guess we’ll just go from there.”
“So,” Katy cleared her throat and looked to you, hands folded on the table. “A gust of wind and suddenly a card, like if a person was running super, super fast. It’s almost like it’s Hermes trying to send you messages, right?”
Her grin was met by your cringing. You leaned forward on the table and held your face in your hands, “Norse gods I can handle, for some reason. Been there, done that, but, I mean, the Greek deities -- “
“It’s only weird because they’re related to you,” Shangqi reasoned. “Come on. This isn’t that bad, right? I mean, your boss keeps saying he’s the Devil.”
“This is true,” you nodded and sat up. “Okay. This is fine. I am badass. This is what I’ve always wanted, it’s no time to chicken out now.”
“There you go, babe,” Shangqi grinned and took your hand in his to give it a squeeze. “But if we have to walk another 12 miles to those arches, I’m sleeping in a tree tonight to rest.”
“That is absolutely fair, sweetheart.”
After dinner, the three of you once again were on your way. It was a short walk to the only bridge in town, and an even shorter one across it. Not far in the distance, you could see a set of crumbling, barely standing stone arches. You elbowed Katy and watched her shout in relief and thank Thor as she raced across the rest of the way to get there. You could feel a hand tugging on yours, and you looked over your shoulder and up to see Shangqi give you a warm smile before leaning down to steal a kiss and catch up to Katy.
The three of you stood by the arches and looked around for anything, a button, another golden card, something. If this was the door you were looking for, you had no idea how to use it to get through. You placed your hand on the arch and stared up at the sky trying to think of what to do when suddenly the stone around your hand glowed in a soft, golden hue. Shangqi cleared his throat to draw your attention, and you saw it.
“Well, damn,” you mumbled under your breath. When you pulled your hand away, the golden color disappeared. You placed your hand on it again and stared at it as the color returned. “Okay. So if I touch it, something happens, but how --”
You never finished your questioning. Suddenly, the ground opened up beneath you, dirt and rocks crumbling down before you started to go with it. You screamed and tried to hold on to the arch, but everything was falling just too fast. Shangqi grabbed your arm to try to pull you back, but he was sucked in as well. Katy grabbed his arm, and she was pulled in alongside him. The three of you were screaming as you shot down a tunnel of dirt, rocks, twigs, and possibly some questionable fossils buried deep in the earth. You burst through the earth, rolling, tumbling over each other until you all finally stopped.
Shangqi was coughing and spitting up dirt, Katy was pulling twigs from her hair, and you were sneezing uncontrollably until all the dirt was gone from your nose. When you three recovered, you looked at your surroundings. There was a cobbled road ahead of you, trees surrounding the pathway, a small town in the distance, and then when you looked up, you could see what looked like a rainbow bridge connecting the land to the sky, wherein the middle of the clouds you could see the opulence and grandeur of what one could imagine Mount Olympus to look like.
“Wow, this is happening,” you laughed a little as you all stood up. “This is amazing.”
“This is seriously better than the cartoons,” Katy muttered. “Not that Ta Lo wasn’t utterly amazing, but, wow.”
“It’s incredible,” Shangqi breathed in agreement. “Come on. Sun’s starting to set here, we should get going.”
“Yeah, before some big bad wolf comes out,” Katy teased.
You set forth on your journey once again. As you approached the town, you could see the people there. Just as one could imagine, long, flowing cloths and cloaks adorned their bodies, sandals, and sashes. Some were carrying large baskets, and you could see that a handful were carrying massive jugs, likely full of wine. This entire thing felt completely unreal, and a part of you wondered if you should’ve just stuck with your misconception that you were an alien, because if this place really existed, if these people were real…then who, exactly, were you meeting who claimed to be your father?
As the town grew closer, you could hear people screaming in fear. The three of you looked up to see actual harpies, creatures with a bird’s body and a woman’s head, shrieking as they descended on the town, their claws out to grab and pluck at the villagers.
“Katy, bow,” you said quickly as Shangqi rolled up his sleeves and the rings shot out of his backpack and onto his forearms. “Draw their attention this way.”
“Got it,” Katy nodded, opened her case, and quickly grabbed her bow and an arrow from it. She knelt down, aimed at the sky, and fired. It stuck a harpy in the wing who went crashing down to the ground. It also drew the attention of the villagers who were now looking to see what hero was saving them that day.
Three harpies swiftly turned and spotted the three of you. With a shriek, they started diving toward you. Katy nocked another arrow, Shangqi raised his fists, but you beat them to the kill. You opened your mouth and screamed, your power slamming into the harpies and making them stumble in flight. You kept screaming until one by one they all fell to the ground, blood pouring from their eyes, ears, and mouth. You stopped screaming when they hit the ground and straightened up. Just as you were about to say how easy it was, the harpy from earlier rose up and flew towards you. Shangqi quickly slammed a ring into its head, the ring cracking its skull and sending the harpy to her death before it returned to his forearm.
The villagers quietly, slowly approached the harpies to make sure they were dead before their eyes landed on you. You wondered how they felt about three people in weird clothes suddenly appearing and killing monsters. The three of you remained perfectly quiet as you tried to assess the situation and how they were going to react. At first, they were whispering to each other, eyes never leaving you before their group started to part down the middle. Walking down the middle in white with a red sash covering her eyes, a woman was seen smiling as she approached, stopping just in front of the harpies’ corpses.
“It seems the Broken One has returned,” She said, her face pointed in your direction which led you to believe she meant you.
“That’s kind of aggressive,” Katy said, as whispers grew and ‘Broken One’ was being repeated like a never-ending echo among the people.
“The Broken One from long ago has returned home,” the woman repeated. “I’m sure this was not the welcome you were hoping for.”
“Who are you?” Shangqi asked her.
“A person no more excited than what approaches.”
You wondered if that meant your father was approaching, but it couldn’t be. You heard what sounded like an army of footsteps, but then you saw ears appear behind the woman and a panting noise. Suddenly, leaping over the woman, a massive white wolf with bright blue eyes was in the air, soaring over the harpies. Before any of you could do anything, you were on the ground, the wolf on top of you, its paws on your shoulders. Katy was screaming, and Shangqi was about to hit the wolf when he noticed it wasn’t biting you -- but licking your face.
“What is happening?!” You shouted as you turned your head away to avoid drowning in wolf saliva. “What the fuck is this!?”
“This is amazing,” Katy started laughing when she realized you weren’t in danger. Shangqi even breathed a sigh in relief when he realized this massive creature was anything from violent as it started to nuzzle you, whimper, and slam its bodyweight down on top of you as it continued to lick your face.
“Why is this happening?!” You shouted, not getting any answers so far.
“White Wolf is yours,” the woman explained calmly. “Laurel, the White Wolf of Alejandra.”
This was strange. The only White Wolf you knew of was the overbearing super-soldier who occasionally gave you blood to keep you from dying an untimely death. Then there were these names, Laurel, Alejandra -- which seemed to be you, thanks to the quick deduction. It was bizarre to hear a name given to you that wasn’t what you had known all this time.
Laurel finally let up, climbing off of you and sitting on her haunches expectantly. You pursed your lips as you reached out to scratch under her jaw, surprised when she leaned in and nuzzled your palm. You looked around her to address the woman from earlier, but she was gone, and now the villagers were surrounding and studying the three of you.
“Am I high?” You asked out loud, looking up at Shangqi who was still trying to see where that woman had run off to.
“I….I don’t know,” he confessed as he helped you to stand up. “But this is getting a little creepy.”
“Yeah…” Katy stood closer to you, watching Laurel carefully as the wolf eyed her. “Can we, uh, get going?”
As though she understood Katy’s request, Laurel quickly got behind you, nudged your backside, and quickly got back in front of you to walk forward and lead the way. You were all of three steps in before there was another gust of wind. Instead of a card, this time was a tall, lithe man in a white toga with red and gold trim. His helmet was gold with white, feathered wings sprouting from the sides of it. He wore a grin on his face, blonde curls falling out of the helmet and framing it as his eyes met yours.
“It’s about time you got here! I almost thought I’d have to kidnap you myself. Well, you’re on the right track, just follow that road, up the hill on the sparkly rainbow bridge, and into the clouds. If you’ve passed the clouds, you’ve gone too far, see you there!” He explained quickly before turning on his heel. He cooed at Laurel, scratched her ears, and called her a good girl before disappearing in another gust of wind.
Shangqi threw his arms up in the air, “Was that fucking Hermes for real!?”
“You know what? I’ll say it. This is weirder than Morris, so much weirder, and he didn’t have a face!” Katy exclaimed as you stepped over the harpy bodies and continued your journey to Mount Olympus.
