Frenchie had been inconsolable at Izzy's side, trying anything he could to talk to the man he loved. Trying to will him to stay awake and with him. That he needed him. When the first mate had closed his eyes, hand falling from his cheek, Frenchie had cried out and buried his face against Izzy's chest. Sobbing uncontrollably.

He didn't know whether it was seconds, minutes or more before he was being pulled back and away from Izzy and he tried desperately to cling on to him. But Auntie forced her way through as several of the others wrapped their arms around Frenchie. Comforting and holding him back as Auntie pulled something out of a pouch and worked on Izzy's wound.

Everything that had happened next had been a blur to Frenchie. He knew people spoke to him, could hear their voices in the distance but nothing reached his ears. He felt numb all over. Nothing was right. Nothing could be, not with Izzy like this. not when he could still lose him.

Izzy had been moved into the Captains quarters and onto Stede (and Ed's) bunk, both men insisting that he had the best place possible to hopefully recover. No one had even tried to get Frenchie to leave him.

The sofa had been pulled to the bedside for Frenchie to use and the bard had taken Izzy's hand in his and refusing to let go.

When Izzy awoke, Frenchie was practically wrapped around his arm with his head on his shoulder. Having cried himself to sleep.

The moment the hoarse voice spoke, Frenchie opened his eyes. Blinking and rubbing away dried tears from tearstained cheeks as he raised his head. The moment he saw Izzy's eyes, he practically jumped off of the sofa and to his feet. Hovering over him. Breath caught within his lungs and heart stilled in anticipation and hope.

To be honest, I could bring myself to get with the times and add an 'Affiliated with' and 'Mains' section on Vivian's Pinned Post like all the youngins on here, but I'm cursed with the affliction of threads on this blog rarely extending past two notes due to the fact I have abysmal luck when it comes to pulling roleplay partners that won't vanish/deactivate on me, so realistically speaking, @illholy, @spiritpyro, and @dis--parity would be the only ones I could say I'm affiliated with... while my mains would probably be a constant '???', just because I'm uncertain on who even considers me a main at this point.

I mean, I'm fine with not being considered an affiliate in return, especially since Judith is permanently a part of Vivian's default canon verse for example regardless, but mains wise, I don't wanna assume stuff or be presumptuous... so for the longest time, I opt not to update my Pinned Post. Like, perhaps one day, Vivian would end up being important to more muses, but she tends to not receive much engagement compared to other blogs, I'm unconsciously all, 'God, who even wants this trash girl as their main?'.

Granted, I know I should probably be more confident about my OC since I've been writing her for ages now; only... even after all the time, I still can't help being self-conscious about Vivian, since I get the sense I'm the black sheep of the RPC and I know her personality can be a lot.

G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)

first off, how fitting that the first letter of gabriel gets a goofy meme? anyway! depends on the partner and the situation. sam can be very serious and intense or just let the fun tip toe over into silliness. also, if something embarrassing comes up during sex. like there tends to be but fanfiction forgets about a lot. noise, oops moment, whatever. he's more apt to chuckle it off and continue on. or.. in the more intense moments (cause this guy can get intense) it just gets a playful smirk or ignored because he's b u s y.

A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)

oop! partner and setting dependent. if they have time? he is very caring. soft touches. little kisses. fingers in your hair. legs tangled with legs. lazy laying in bed until the high wears off. or round two starts. all that selfcare means stamina!! (demon blood too but shh.) or hopping off to a mutual shower and grabbing something to eat or spending time together is great. but there are times.. soulless!sam for instance.. where he can just get up, have a couple words (maybe) and go. the latter is rarer.

B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)

naughty side? cause for partners, sam notices their eyes first. but let's go naughty! that spot between the shoulders? oh, he loves that touched, scratched, licked, etc. especially if you trail your mouth or fingers up or down his spine from there? man's gonna come undone. close second is the adonis belt region. anything done in that area? oooh. you are in trouble. (the good kind!) in a partner? clavicle. what better place to put your mouth? well. for starters. :D runner up? inner thighs. the soft skin. the sounds someone makes with that area is paid attention to? fingers in his hair? yeah. he likes it very much.

R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)

this guy is down for just about anything. suggest it? and he's gonna give it a go. no judgement here. risks, though? depends on how extreme. but it'd have to be pretty up there for him to say no.

I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)

sam is a very, very, extremely intimate person. touch-starved. touch-addicted. he loves giving as much as he loves getting. he is very apt to get completely lost in what he is doing and who he is with. sex with sam is very intense. he wants to consume you as well as being consumed right back. eye contact, tasting, learning every inch of a person and having a person learn every inch of him. head to toe. sam is damn near fiendish when he lets go. might even need to be reined in if it gets too intense for the other person. he's yet to have any complaints, though! treat him soft? on the other end? and he melts and will treat you damn near like you're made out of porcelain. get you a man that can do both. :D

E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)

sam might not have the notches on the bed post dean does far as partner number wise. but he's pretty damn experienced anyway. because of his want for physical attention, he can be a very sexual person in a relationship and it's lead him to learn a lot of things about himself and about pleasing someone else. experienced partners have helped along the way. also depends on what era we're talking about!

L = Location (favorite places to do the do)

he's a tall guy. anywhere that he can fit without hitting his head off something. or getting a leg cramp is good. sam loves the bedroom (so much room for activities!) or motel room. but riskier situations are a thrill, too. back alley. bathroom stall? roof top. abandoned places. he's got some other fantasies he'd love to try out. example, you say? okay! even though it's damn near sacrilegious to a bookish person like sammy.. someone get dirty with this nerd in a library! he's so up for other suggestions, too.

maggie evans was once your average sassy teenaged diner waitress in the spooky seaside town of collinsport, maine. that was before she was kidnapped by its resident vampire, held captive, tortured, and nearly turned, all for her resemblance to josette — a long dead woman for whom he pined.

there in his rotting house, barnabas collins dressed her in the woman’s clothes and told her that maggie evans was dead, and that her loved ones have already forgotten her. that she should be thrilled to become josette collins; how if she would only submit to him willingly, they could be so happy together.

when maggie resisted, he drained her blood to keep her in a fugue state, terrorized her with threats to her loved ones, and imprisoned her in a basement cell, threatening to kill her if she did not comply. 

miraculously, maggie escaped with the aid of sarah, the ghost of barnabas' little sister. after discovering a secret tunnel connecting her cell to the outside, she was found wandering the beach in tattered rags, unable to explain or even remember the full extent of what had happened to her. she was sent to windcliff sanitarium, where efforts to recover her memory proved fruitless until years later thanks to the meddling of dr. julia hoffman.  

since then, she has survived far too many abductions, brainwashings, memory wipes, and murder attempts to count. these days, maggie runs her diner with a weariness unbecoming of her young age. yet as traumatized as she is, she hides her troubles behind a kind, but wary smile.

i. the beginning and the end of the world / maggie's semi-charmed life as a waitress in collinsport prior to barnabas' introduction.

ii. fanged creatures in my dreams / this is where most of the spooky stuff happens. follows maggie after barnabas comes to town, up until she leaves the show. my main verse for ds muses.

iii. a stake in her boot and a gun in her home / big finish audio verse set after the tv show with some canon divergences, and my go-to verse for non-ds muses. maggie takes over ownership of the inn and diner, where she acts as a welcoming face for weary travelers and hosts bi-monthly paranormal investigation meetings. primarily inspired by clothes of sand, beyond the grave, the harvest of souls, and bloodlust.

It was far from unusual for Sybelle to retreat inside her head and to stay dazed and far away from the present. Silence was even less unusual from her, but just like Armand and Benjamin, Bianca had learned to read into the fidgeting, the stiffness in her posture, the slight shaking in her hands. And so she'd taken her in a more quiet spot to try and comfort her and to be a listening ear.

Sometimes, she couldn't find her words. She nodded silently, grabbing Bianca's hand for comfort. Sybelle then used the mind-gift and sent an image of what had just occurred.

She'd been wandering outside as she liked to do, early enough to enjoy the lights of the city and stroll to the bookshop when she met someone from her family and quickly ducked into a nearby alley. She'd forgotten about these uncles and aunts of old, who'd left her to waste away inside a gilded cage with her brother. Not that he'd tried to give her to anybody else, he wanted the money. They all knew, however, and pretended it wasn't happening -- or worse, that she was doing it to herself, insane as she was. She sent those memories through mind gift, too. "I hate them, I don't want to think about it," she says inside her head for Bianca to hear. "But it's bringing memories back." Beside, it was a strange and eerie feeling to see one you used to know looking considerably older in what seemed to her a blink -- while she hadn't changed. She hadn't been confronted to it before.
