Okay the main reason that you should read Infinity Inc. Do you like cute college students who are fun together? Do you like found family? Do you like your favorite characters being friends forever and nothing bad happening to them at all? 

Well TOO BAD! If you read Infinity Inc. your favorite character has a 92% chance of either dying or going evil! You will love these stupid children and you will be so upset that DC refuses to have an actual full Infinity Inc. Reunion and instead decides that every few years former members should attempt to murder each other. 

For characters you have: Boy with daddy issues, other boy with daddy issues, gay angry boy with daddy issues, (unfortunately not canon gay yet) boy with EVIL daddy issues, and 7’6” himbo. It’s just... daddy issues all the way down. Also sexist 1940s man who is incredibly annoying. Jennifer-Lynn Hayden, or Jade, who you should all know, and frankly I think if your only exposure to Jen is Kyle Green Lantern you should be OBLIGATED to read Infinity Inc. I have seen some awful stuff flung around about her by Kyle fans. “Jade is only important to comics to tie Kyle to Alan and since she can’t do that properly she might as well stay dead” and that’s just what I’m willing to quote. 

Read Jennie-Lynn RIGHT NOW to properly appreciate her or learn to keep her name out of your mouth. I say while shipping her other ex with her dad and her brother. 

Lyta Trevor who has been through so much and deserves so much more than being hated because of Sandman, you do not know Lyta and you have not read her struggles, how dare you, I am assigning you the homework of Read Infinity Inc. or shut up. 

Okay that is the big sexisms it’s time to get to the big homophobias, or both. Hey remember how the mini series that Beth and Yolanda were killed off in either heavily implied that they were dating or ramped up the sexual tension so much that it seems that they are. I think you should read Infinity Inc. and join me in demanding that Geoff Johns brings back that relationship. Yeah it would be cute. 

Read Infinity Inc. now to fall in love with the cutest college age idiots you’ve ever read, ship a ship that is definitely considered problematic now (it’s Hank and Todd I don’t mean problematic problematic I mean, my god people are weird about non-canon gay ships involving canon gay characters, they just have a ridiculous amount of UST and you have to understand Hank was absolutely in love with both twins you have to you have to), be destroyed by the only death in the main series as you learn to care about them all, and also read further in the main characters lives and see the horrible shit they all but especially Hank gets subjected to...

Character Crossovers I think would be fun

Kendra Saunders (Hawkgirl) and Cassandra Cain (Batgirl) - I think that they have some neat parallels and contrasts, most obvious one being suicidalness.

Grace Choi and Damian Wayne (Robin) - I know they met briefly in WFA or Vixen (1 of the webtoons) but I mean like :P In main continuity. If there was a Grace, Anissa, Dick, Damian story I think it would be fun because Grace and Anissa got Dick's most jerkass era and I think Damian has a somewhat idealized view of Dick, so he'd be like. Oh. there are people who don't like my brother.

Hector Hall (Silver Scarab) and Norda Cantrell (Northwind) and Raven and Koriand'r (Starfire) - I think that Norda and Raven have some interesting compare/contrasts with each being raised in isolated pacifist societies... BUT Norda was sort of in charge (according to the leader of his society) of getting rid of the person who was viewed as the world-destroying evil... whereas Raven was viewed as capable of unleashing that evil (well not for Feitherans but for Azarathians :P) Then Hector is the Dude Fated to Destroy the World, but he didn't know about it, he got to have a regular childhood, unlike Raven... Kory should also be here b/c Hector has a very domineering personality and I want someone to push back against him :P Norda is tempted to get a bit pushovery with Hector (tho IG that is more pre Norda's training). I think Kory would also beef with Norda some if she projected Raven onto Hec and saw that Norda was willing to just kill Hector without trying to stop him or alerting his friends as to what was happening.

INFINITY INCORPORATED, heirs to Diana’s Society and some of the her League’s greatest rivals. Led by The Fury of The Amazons, Hippolyta the Younger.

Lyta’s upbringing was unusual. Raised as the adopted ward of the Trevor family, Apokolips came calling and she was whisked away to train under the New Gods. While Uxas’ court was wary of an heir to Steppenwolf living among them, he saw an opportunity to mold a new weapon in his war against all life, as well as mock the Wonder Woman of Earth and her Old Gods. Like Scott Free, Lyta would break from the Cult of Darkseid and return to Earth. She had changed in her time away and no longer saw her mother as family, but as a rival. The Great Society of Super-Heroes had collapsed not from wars among gods and champions from beyond the stars, but from Diana caving to the needs and whims of mere mortals. Lyta wouldn’t make that mistake. She would seek out raw power in creating her own group.

Taking funding from an unknown benefactor in exchange for continuing to act in competition with the Justice League, Lyta gathered her team:

Tariq Tyler, the new Hour-Man; Beth Chapel, a brilliant young surgeon who had inherited Dr. Mid-Nite’s equipment from his protege, Pieter Cross; Natasha Irons, the Arclight Steel and honorary member of the House of El; Albert Pratt Rothstein, The Atom-Smasher; Sly Pemberton, boy hero turned solo act using Knight Industries tech developed by the original Starman; Obsidian and Jade, the twin heirs to Green Lantern and Johnny Sorrow, pure light and darkness embodied, and the young man-hawk Norda Cantrell and their adopted brother, Hector Hall.

Hector would be Lyta’s chief lieutenant and confidant, and eventually her lover. While briefly leading to her reconnecting to her humanity and even having a child of her own, but Lyta never truly let go of her rage. The loss of Hector and Daniel and her doomed war against The Endless consumed the rest of her immortal life. The rest of the group fell apart for a time shortly after.

Sly’s death, Todd and Jenni’s continued mental health struggles, and Norda’s return to Hawkworld left Al, Rick, Beth, and Tasha without a clear way forward. It would be sometime before Sly’s successor, Courtney Whitmore, would begin to gather the next iteration of the team...

As someone who mostly reads indie comics, who is Hank?

The red boy out of these two. Brainwave Jr.

He's a member of Infinity Inc. which is the superteam that the JSA's kids formed after their parents refused to let them join, except he is NOT a JSA kid and is actually the kid of one of their villains who just happened to show up on the same day as everyone else with an actual problem he wanted the JSA's help with.

Except he was STUPID and decided the best way to ask them for help was to illusion himself to look like his evil dad and tear a hole in their wall. Ends up joining Infinity Inc. because the leader is his mom's (who is a superhero's) adoptive brother, but also around this point his dad switches sides briefly because he's not entirely a terrible parent but winds up getting killed trying to protect his son.

He transfers his powers to him and this is the start of a lot of mental health issue stuff including Hank's mental breakdown where he's mostly acting as a cartoon villain while actual villains make fun of him, and then his ex-girlfriend's dad locks him up in a torture asylum in a plotline that everyone who's read it is kind of ":/ Alan don't do this" about, Alan (original Green Lantern) in general doesn't really like his enemy's son dating his daughter, even though the relationship is basically 100% fluff + sweetness.

Mr and Mrs Hawkman...

Notable for having the dynamic of all time with his ex-girlfriend's gay twin brother where they warm up to each other (Hank notably always puts up with Todd's tantrums and values him a lot), have storylines that mirror each other exactly and also have a little attempted murder for fun. Also there's a rescue scene where Todd saves him and the background turns into the bisexual flag.

Also has a seperate dynamic with another commonly suspected as closeted character where he appears in that character's future dream outlined in the stars, right at the very end, like the most important character in the entire segment. No one else appears like this.

Kind of funny while getting revenge on Alan while still a villain ngl:

Basically, sweet and kind kid of a villain who gets treated really badly because he is the kid of a villain, gets traumatized, gets a worm in his head that eats part of his brain as a "cure", gets given a permanent disability, heals mentally but is still sadder than he was before, gets told by his friends they prefered him when he was happier. Never really seemed straight and should probably have a boyfriend, does also have a dynamic with Al Rothstein and Norda Cantrell which I will not get into.

Lmao okay I post this one a bit too often but it is the best way to summarize his character...

Also I lied earlier in that he is actually a JSA kid because Carter and ESPECIALLY Jay both dad him a lot and he keeps getting included in "our kids" statements. He's never actually officially joined the JSA team and at this point I am invested in seeing him a member and happy (he was last seen being tortured on panel).

Rules:

No Powers.

Blindfolds must be worn at all times.

Contestants have six hours.

Every hour and at the start contestants will be spun around to disorient them.

After being spun around contestants will be returned to their starting area.

Nothing will stop contestants from going to each other's area while disoriented.

The contest will be judged by Black Canary, Doctor Mid-Nite, Doctor Midnight, and Doctor Mid-Nite.

Bonus points will be given if Hooty and Charlie find it a good perch.

Points will be removed for injuring themself or others. Being injured by someone else will not cause points to be removed.

To encourage safety all injuries will be treated by Johnny Thunder.
