listen I honestly think wilson really enjoyed that little arc where he was cooking every single one of house’s meals. I know he’s house’s main source of food anyway but usually just via ‘stolen’/bought lunch at work. I’m talking about when they lived together in season 2 and his ass made macadamia nut pancakes for breakfast on a WEEKDAY. and pot roast for dinner. so much effort and for what…because house was gobbling that shit up…? yes he complained about it every time but he also had an extra fork on hand when house came home to stuffed peppers. it feeds into his need to be needed complex. the intimate dependency of someone relying on you for sustenance. also why they used food as the metaphor for why house was craving his presence. this is what I mean when I say that wilson deserved a housewife era. house went stir crazy within like 12 seconds of doing all their chores because he requires Stimulation™️ but I’m completely convinced that it would act as enrichment for wilson. if I told him to go make me a sandwich he’d roll his eyes and then passive aggressively make a delicious one. actually that literally happened in son of a coma guy. case closed

Thinking about late night trio, it’s insane how deeply they love each other. like it’s hard to put into words the special bond they share as siblings and best friends. Pomme would do anything to protect them, Dapper would do the same, Richas literally said they are one of the reasons he’s happy to still be living. they talk about each other & mention each other in their writings constantly, even ooc they always hang out in dms, in vc, they have inside jokes which they bring into character. it’s so nice that they were able to meet, like…. that’s a french mexican & brazilian egg <3

and it’s sweet how the three quickly took in Pepito as their baby sibling. Richas already did, but a bond had also been forming between Pepito & Pomme and Pepito & Dapper. what really proved it though was that night all 4 stayed up having a sleepover together and Dapper made them breakfast :’)

random note about king on that animation, i got really lucky with how simple his animation was and how clean my sketches were to begin with that i was able to do very minimal cleanup on what i had sketched (and add back. his horn. it's supposed to take place just after echoes of the past, Oops) and call it done that way instead of having to redraw the entire thing like i had to on his dad

first sketch > line cleanup > nearly final animation (i'd added slight eye movements last-second but otherwise that's the final)

I AM NOT AN ANIMATOR I AM JUST A HOBBYIST...#i animate like once a year... shits hard man.... but apparently when i do animate. its extremely good :) proud of that #even if i have an extremely unhinged way of animating #i don't have an animation program i draw everything individually frame by frame in photoshop #each character had their own psd file with the same background and every frame was its own group. twice. one for sketch one for colors #i do test takes with gifcam (there are literally 55 WIP gifs in my documents folder rn) by switching between layers and taking a 'frame'#and i compile in blender's video editor and to move things separately i save each character's frame in its own .png 'cel'#so luz was her own 'cel'. king was his own 'cel.' etc. and then i have to manually slide the lengths of the frames around #to match the right framerate. traditionally animation is animated at 24 FPS on 2's - so 12 frames a second. i go on 3s. 4 to slow down #anime-ass framerate. i'm insane apparently but its what i like to do #i dont understand real animation programs they have too many pieces but i DO understand photoshop and my funny brushes #imagine having Digital Programs and Still basically doing ye olde traditional animation method just in the computer #if im Just making a gif then i only use gifcam and switch between layers. like digital stop motion. somethings wrong with me

Having seen the clip from season 6 (*edited: I used to think it was 7 or 8) where House says about Wilson buying the organ for him, "I like what this says about you" bc he bought something for House when he was told to buy a piece of furniture that says something about himself, and he chose something that would make House happy, versus in season 4 when Wilson bought the mattress amber wanted bc he wanted to make her happy, and she got mad at him for it...

Just... despite House and Amber being so similar, with both of them wanting Wilson to choose something for himself, but House being happy about Wilson's choice being his love for him, and Amber being happy that Wilson chose something he didn't even know he himself liked. Wilson not even knowing himself very well, let alone amber, and a few seasons later, he knows House better than he knows himself. Wilson's choices are dependent on the people he loves and how he loves them, but amber only saw that he was giving her what she wanted, while House saw it for the reflection of Wilson's love that it was
