I love sanji so much because of how he handles life. I know he is in mental agony everyday because trauma doesn't just magically disappear oneday. It stays with you, warps your world vision and impacts your life every single step but sanji still wakes up everyday and he feeds the hungry, smiles at children, liberates people from their personal hell, believes in kindness love and laughter, wears beautiful clothes and styles his hair, does things he loves and shares life with his friends. He shows that even if a person was raised in darkness neglect and abuse they can still overcome that pain and develop into the most compassionate, kindest person who touches people's hearts daily and finds joy in living. Sanji tells us that life doesn't have to be defined by the pain we go through. You're not what happens to you, you're who you choose to become. <3

the thing is you couldn't pay me to have quinn hughes tripsit me actually fucking ever. I would sooner burrow myself underground like some sort of cicada. "oh but he looks like he's high all the time—" UNIMPORTANT. he's the type of freak to tell me there's ants in my skin. I'm sure he can roll a joint just fucking fine the issue is the fact he'll be telling me the cops are on their way while he's doing it. he's going to change the time on his phone to be the opposite of whatever's outside and tell me that either the sun is gone or we don't have night cycles anymore. he's going to throw something to the other side of the room while I'm not looking and then go Oh my god did you hear that? Oh my god what WAS that? until I have a panic attack. he's going to pretend to get a call and tell me that someone wanted to tell him that they're on their way to kill me. I would not come out of the situation alive

the best thing about my uni is not anything actually real theyre doing but that theres a free-to-use piano at the student center and a lot of couches, because its honestly hard to count how many times ive been able to relax to the sounds of a brave soul performing the best piano of my life there.
