It's been about a month since you've been in the highrise invasion. You became close to God, but you had no mask that you had the same wavelength with.

Most days, you would just rest up in a colossal skyscraper that was an old office building. You didn't quite understand the new reality you had to live, but you were adjusting to it.

The sun was setting in the new world as you looked out the view of the enormous window. You sat and waited since it was almost time for your daily food shipment to come in.

You heard footsteps approach your room, but they were heavier than your usual caretaker mask as the person came to your door. You grabbed the duffle bag that was on the side of you and unzipped it to see your weapon collection.

You pulled out a bow and arrow, and you attached the bow arrow to the bow's string. You pulled the arrow back to the corner of your smile as you were in position, ready for any attack that was headed your way.

You looked to see a tall figure that looked at least 6'2 approach you that looked as if they were in a suit. He had a rifle in his hand as he searched around the room. He looked like he was a sniper and could kill you any second.

You heard his mask say to him, "You can not kill this human. They are closest to God." He put his weapon down and approached the couch.

You saw him and stood up with the bow and arrow in your hand as you were close to killing him. He pulled out a cigarette and a lighter and lit it.

He placed the cigarette between his fingers that formed a peace sign and huffed a vast cloud of smoke out. "So.. who are you." He said in a deep voice as his mask had a smiley face on it.

"I'm y/n, and you?" He had no response as if he didn't know his name or his identity at all. "Honestly, I don't know, but I guess I'm a sniper mask."

You placed your bow down as you saw he had a bag of food in his hand as his rifle was wrapped around his body like a satchel. He put the bag up as if he knew you didn't get your food yet, "So you wanna share this."

You nodded, and he placed the food in the bag out so you could separate them from each other. You took half, and he did as well and started to eat the food while looking out the window to watch the bodies drop of the weak.

You felt something that you didn't with no other mask you've encountered. The feeling was different, as if the two of you were connected somehow, but you didn't know-how.

You placed your food to the side and looked over to see him eating his food over in the corner as he was hiding his face from you. "Do I know you from somewhere? This feels like Deja Vu or like I've had something with you in the real world." He put his foot to the side and gulped up what was left in his mouth. "I was going to say the same thing to you. It's like we're similar, but I don't know how or why."

You scooted closer to him and rested your back against his, and leaned back. You had your knees scrunched up and your hands resting on the side of you as they were tapping against the cold ground. It was an awkward silence for a second, and you felt his fingers graze against yours then intertwined with yours.

"Y/n do you think we were ever together in the other world, and would you like to see my face." You parted your fingers from him, and you turned around to face him.

You stepped back a bit from being shocked at his beautiful features and strong jawline. You got caught up in staring at him for ten minutes that made him nervous and anxious about his appearance, and quickly about to put the mask on.
