Earlier today, Voice of the Protector, Doma Roxanna met with the Viridi Press Corps to clarify some recent addendums to the official Summer event schedule for the royal family.  

“Thank you all for coming this morning on such short notice. Unfortunately it seems there was some miscommunications in the family that resulted in mistakes in the last official release. Mistakes that I personally take responsibility for. I should have verified these details directly with the Princess herself and for that I am sorry. That being said, it is actually Doma Rosalina who is taking a step back from her duties, for - personal reasons. So for the time being their highnesses Princess Estra or Doma Farrah will cover her events. Again, I am truly sorry for my mistake.” 

As for the rest of us here at the PNP we also apologize for our role in this. The Ministry of Press and Print has always had a close relationship with the royal family and it is to our great shame that something like this could have happened. Again we are sorry to our readers and to the Viridi Public at large.

The Queen's uncle, the venerable Prince Rasmus, led the traditional procession around Valta Circle accompanied by his long time partner, activist Aapo Keto, and the ambassador from Viridis, Dom Caspian Novari. The joyful event was then capped off by an electrifying performance from pop princess Fiia Mattila.

A month. That's how long Calvin has been Hale Novaris. That's how long he's been leading this double life. How long he's been walking in shoes that aren't his, wearing clothes that aren't his, doing a job that isn't his, trying to woo a fiancée that isn't his either. But Hale's father has insisted that whatever he does, he cannot allow this engagement to fall apart. And so Calvin did what he thought Hale would do, only to be met with a very different reality. The relationship between Hale and Lia was not as picture perfect as it had been in the debrief. The two had done an uncanny job of keeping their strife behind closed doors, presenting smiles to the world.

Well, Cal has learned that the smiles they wore concealed bitterness and resentment. He can feel it coming off Lia in waves when he gets home from work. Their shared bedroom occupied only by Calvin as Lia took a room down the hall. Apparently this is common. And as Calvin has stepped into Hale's shoes the past month, he's slowly begun to unravel the mystery of his relationship with Lia. She's kept her distance, and Calvin thinks that a fight must've been had, and been bad, for the cold shoulder he was getting. But it wouldn't do to have such an important connection fall apart as he was working on Olympia. It would distract from the task at hand, which is to gain integral knowledge and resources and report back to TPC.

Hale had had business on the other side of Olympia for a few days and when he returned home, Calvin resolved to bridge the gap between Hale and Lia. Whatever had happened was in the past. It had to be for this to work. It's why they're here now, being led to their table at one of the nicest restaurants on Olympia. According to his research, Hale was quite the show off. "I didn't say before but...you look nice," Calvin compliments finally as he pulls back her chair. To say being engaged to Lia is a sacrifice would be untrue. But there's something about being around her that makes Calvin uneasy – like she's about to bolt at any moment and he's not sure why. "Have you worn this before?" He asks, nodding to the dress she's chosen for dinner. The information he had on Hale and Lia's relationship may be wrong, but he still has to navigate it regardless, figuring out his own path forward with small, probing steps. @gloriouswhispers

Leanne/Naesala. long distance (Since he's working as a diplomat post-RD)

Ooof, yeah. I haven’t thought about this, but you’re absolutely right. Naesala would have to travel a lot for as a diplomat.

And in the beginning, I imagine that Leanne just insists on tagging along. I mean, have you met her? She’s just as stubborn as her brother, and she will not be left behind! It doesn’t matter that Naesala asked Nealuchi to keep Leanne safe and out of trouble. She would find a way to follow Naesala, with Nealuchi as her eternal unwitting accomplice.

(Or half-unwitting, anyway. Nealuchi would try to talk her out of it at first, but eventually she would always manage to persuade him to her side, and he would be too charmed by her to do anything but happily oblige.)

Naesala, of course, learns to expect it. Sure, he’s appalled the first time Leanne shows up out of nowhere when he thought she was safe and sound back in Serenes, but after a while, he accepts that it’s inevitable. He almost starts just inviting her along, but he ends up enjoying the game so much that he decides against it.

Leanne starts crafting up new and creative ways in which to surprise Naesala, and is always so adorably pleased with herself when she manages to catch him off guard. It makes it very hard for Naesala to be mad at her.

Nealuchi still gets an earful each time, however.

But then comes the babies. They end up having two children, a heron girl and a crow boy. In my mind, I’ve already decided that they are twins, with the boy named Novari, and the girl named Lucera. And while pregnancy isn’t typically difficult for herons, despite what one might assume from their frail constitution, it would certainly provide Naesala with a good argument as to why Leanne should stay home.

So Leanne starts begrudgingly staying behind whenever Naesala goes on one of his diplomatic visits.

And it’s rough. It’s really rough on both of them. Naesala keeps expecting to see her show up, despite himself. And while Leanne has many friends and family to keep her company, it can’t entirely make up for how lonely she feels at night, all alone in their large bed.

If Naesala is gone longer than a couple of days, he will write Leanne some letters, but because of how swiftly he can travel in bird form, he will often return before his letters even arrive. And then Leanne will insist on Naesala reading the letter aloud to her. It’s terribly embarrassing, but because Naesala is a whipped, he will indulge her every time.

I had an MRI today. Cost me $250 - couldn't get it on Medicare for unknown reasons.

Why did I need one?

Because the gynecologist wants to find my ovaries (I call them novaries because they are functionally useless) - a transvaginal ultrasound did not find them, so I was penetrated by a great big dildo for nothing.

The reason they need to find my novaries is because they need to be removed before they grow tumours, because that's a common thing that happens with Swyer syndrome. So that's how things are going for me.
