Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Spread the self-love 💕 Love u darcy <3 <3
I love u too, Serena!! Ahhh! I love tags like this so much.
I did this for my Ao3 stories, so I am going to focus on my headcanon posts for this one!
Rolan Headcanons - I'm fairly sure that this was the first headcanon post I made, so it was a lot of fun using this as a way to flesh out how I'd do these posts from that point onward. It was fun getting to explore what I headcanoned for his background and as a romantic partner. Still one of my favorites.
Rolan (Established Relationship w/ Tav) Jealous of Gale Headcanons - This was another headcanon post where, by token of getting to explore how Rolan is in a romantic setting, I had a lot of fun. I view Rolan as an emotionally constipated grump a lot of the time, so getting to explore that here was just *chef's kiss*
Cal Headcanons - The first of what I hope will be many more headcanon posts for Cal! This is likely one of my more chaotic ones, but I embraced it and had the time of my life.
Cal Realizing That He Has a Crush on You General Headcanons / Cal Realizing He Has a Crush on You as a Romanceable NPC - Oh yeah. I definitely embraced the chaos here too. I couldn't stop writing, and it got LENGTHY (not that I'm mad). This feels like two headcanons lists in one because of how I broke it apart (but I'm not mad and my goblin-muse is pleased). Mostly, I think I just enjoyed getting to write a few mini-fic ideas for Cal in one go, and I got to explore various angles in which a crush might develop into a relationship for him.
Dom!Zevlor Headcanons - One of my shorter lists, and some research was required. When I have to do research for any project, I am in heaven. And I will always be a fool who loves exploring character dynamics (probably why I enjoy headcanon posts as much as I do!)
No Pressure tags (and definitely do not stress if you have already done this!!) - @savriea @beesoo13 @little-paperboat @sorceresssundries

dead poets society chars but i assign them random things ive seen happen on the internet / random videos or posts i remember (not based on anything it is genuinely at random):
neil - tony crynight's fnaf animation series which i dont entirely remember the plot of but i'll try to describe. so basically its fake mangle lore to say that mangle is the way they are (all broken and shit) because Mangle kissed Foxy and Chica got jealous so she took a Machete to Mangle to Mangled them. and then the gang tries to save mangle or whatever
todd - fluffle puff, someones pink fluffy mlp oc who was in lesbians with chrysalis (i think thats her name, i never watched mlp). mosy notably known for the animation to pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows. also the creator is a pedophile i think
charlie - sorrow tv and his entire existence. sorrow tv was a youtuber who made videos reading out reddit videos in silly voices. there was a whole posse of youtubers who did this, and he was the most popular just bc his voice acting was rly good. i still watch him every couple months even tho he hasnt posted since 2021.
cameron - does bruno mars is gay? i think about cameron man door hand hook car door every day, so i obviously need to point to my third favourite silly trying to be serious sentence. most ppl know this from game grumps but im not linking a game grumps video on here. rumour come out!
knox - venturiantale, the youtube channel usually consisting of 4? siblings playing gmod together usually. the channel itself was ran by this guy named jordan i think? and his siblings has their own channels. i knew them best for their fnaf gmod videos and their fanmail videos. turns out they were all very christian? and the whole family was abusive and way deep into said christianity if i remember correctly, one of the siblings who left first made a video on it. the venturiantale channel hasnt posted in like 2 yrs and the slow death was kinda sad to see bc he (jordan) blamed it all on The Algorithm.
meeks - that one nagito komaeda kinnie back in Whenever it was cutting off their finger to. i guess prove that they were a nagito kinnie frfr? if u dont know danganronpa lore then nagito gets his hand cut off and replaced with junko enoshima's hand because sheeeee got... executed? i wont lie i dont remember this part of the games story sorry. but essentially that one person was like I Gotta Do That........ anyway im jk the audio was faked and nothing actually happened + the person is fine LAWL
pitts - the key of awesome's parody of tiktok by kesha called glitter puke. theres no lore to this the key of awesome is / was ? a silly little song parody channel. this video was made in 2010 and it kinda shows in some moments but other than that it holds up. just checked and the key of awesome is Not still going, it ended 6 years ago and the last video was actually rly good and genuine
keating - onma island is buried a treasure chest. ok so basically mr beast made a video talking abt a private island and he buried. a treasure chest for a viewer to find. during the video he said "on my island is buried a treasure chest" but it sounded like "onma" which this one youtuber (pinely) found rly funny. it became an inside joke with his friends (one of whom got a tattoo) which then became a lowkey meme. mr beast even tweeted it so. good lord thats a lot of links sorry there isnt a know your meme page or anything
chris - i dont have any links for this one sorry, im just gonna tell the story and u have to believe me when i say i swear it happened (its very a believable fandom story im sure you will). so back when the genshin impact was still in its fairly early days (late 2020-early 2021) the phrase "hear me out" to refer to characters n stuff started becoming popular I THINK at the same time. so people in the genshin fandom were like hear me out with increasingly more heinous shit. started with characters, then npcs, then enemies, then bosses, then weapons, the stamina bar at one point, etc. a lot of these were jokes or straight up bait but back then (maybe now too - i havent been part of the genshin fandom for a LONG time) people took bait far more often than they didnt. so it became a "genshin fandom bad" gotcha to point out That One stamina bar post.
ginny - $300 junko enoshima wig! sorry for double dipping with danganronpa it was just the first fandom i actually started like. on purpose noting fandom happenings with + a lot of shit happens in that fandom. this one cosplayer who at the time was called snowthesaltqueen / badguyincorporated started selling pre-made (and styled) junko enoshima cosplay wigs for $300. which WOULD be fair (i think? idk how cosplay commissions work) if said wig was styled well or quality at all, but what was ACTUALLY provided was a rly basic wig base and few clips with no note or no nothing, and rly flat. like on purpose. like that was "the styling". also you may recognise this cosplayer for 1) getting in trouble when they did a cosplay photoshoot (danganronpa cosplay funnily enough) in a graveyard, posing ON a gravestone. 2) KILLING SOMEONE. they were screwing around with a firearm and fake pointing it at someone and then they accidentally shot them.
i could do this forever like actually. i have SO many internet stories in my brain its actually bad.

The LOCALS (NPCs)
Charles " Old Man" Gannon - 59 - he/him
A real tough cookie. He runs a tight ship with his ranch (and 2/3 of his boys), never one to dish out niceties easily. The guy's a workaholic hardass, and you'd think he's allergic to sentimentality. But, deep down, buried under layers of grump, there's a heart that's seen its share of battles – just takes some digging to find it. Reigning champion of not dealing with generational trauma; He's a graduate from the school of hard knocks and believes everyone should tough it out.
Soledad Torres-Marks - 78 - she/her
Alice's grandmother and retired sheep wrangler, she's a permanent fixture at the local bar where you'll find her knitting away and trading stories to the wee hours of the night. Despite the silver in her hair, she's got a quick wit that could give any youngster a run for their money. Don't be fooled by the cozy vibes – she's been known to wield her cane with a mischievous twinkle in her eye, especially if you're on the receiving end of a cheeky remark.
Archer "Archie" Gannon - 20 - he/him
The town's semi-elusive bookworm. He left home for college and only rolls back into town for holidays and the occasional break. Bookish and a tad awkward, he's on a mission to help his dad keep the family farm afloat through his studies. Little does he know, he's the golden child in his dad's eyes – a town secret he's blissfully unaware of. If he's not buried in his textbooks, you can catch him trying to teach the calves some cool tricks.
Jessie Ledenbaum - 25 - she/her
The infamous charmer at the general store where she runs the show along with her parents. Confident to the core, she's got this knack for flirting with customers that gets old ladies giggling. Those on the shy side might get startled by her boldness, but the townsfolk love the attention. Despite her big dreams of leaving town, there's a piece of her heart that's firmly anchored to her family. She claims she doesn't mind staying, but you can always catch the "but" on her face after.
Frank the Tank - 9 - bullmastiff
The goodest boy on the ranch. He enjoys his elderly life from the comfort of the wicker couch out front, occasionally wandering off to take a nap in the barn. He's got a knack for giving strangers the most bombastic side eye, and he even sighs like he's got a mortgage to pay. While retired, he's still the guardian of the homestead and will readily remind ne'er-do-wells that his bark is very much kinder than his bite, and he'll throw down with anyone - or anything - that threatens his folks.

On a scale of complete confusion to unified bleating, how do Sarissa and other satyrs see each other?
Tumblr media
I'm not quite sure I understood the scale you laid out, but Sarissa gets along with most anyone - or tries to - though exhibiting a great deal of suspicion against cryptic entities and dark-souls NPC's. She'd get along fine with Barley and fail to pick up on the vibe of overall discomfort.
Tumblr media
Barley lives apart from other fauns because she doesn't feel very comfortable around them, they're scatterbrained and lives in the present, cares little for perfecting anything - and overall just gets up to stuff she isn't into. She prefers her own company and her own pace, so she left to perfect her trade. A less benevolent take is that she's a big smartypants grumpface who reads books and kneads dough because noone will sit on her dumb grump face. She'd be reluctantly accepting of Sarissa until she dumbassed for the 45th time, and then kick her out. So overall, they'd get along like [picture of a goat eating grass in a corner, while another bounces around wildly 15 feet away in a futile battle against a bucket]

You can't tell me Eddie doesn't put his friends in his campaigns. So I present to you: the spicy six, as built by Eddie Munson.
Starting off strong, there's Argy, a halfling druid. He's unnaturally lucky, optimistic even in the worst of situations, and always has something in his pipe. He's also got this habit of talking with trees. Not just to them, with them. While plenty of druids use their wild shape to fight, Argy prefers to use his for recon and general sneaky shenanigans. His favorite shapes are a newt, a hummingbird, and a fat house cat that often finds a home across Jord's shoulders.
Jord is the darkness that is never far from Argy's light. This Dwarf Cleric follows a god of fire and courage. He's a bit of a grump but has a soft spot for the always-happy Argy. He's never seen without his great axe, and the weapon isn't just for show; Jord has taken down foes many times his size with it. He's also adept with magic. On one particularly memorable occasion, Jord summoned a flaming wall so intense that it trapped a dragon. Jord was also the one to sever its head from its body. The party has not underestimated him since.
Neera is a red dragonborn fighter. Her bark is just as bad as her bite, and her firey breath is even worse than both of those. While she prefers to fight from a distance, wielding her longbow with deadly precision, she has a way with people and is good at getting close to them and talking them into handing over information. It helps that those who don't will find themselves speared through with one of her poison dipped arrows.
Moon's Son is a tabaxi Bard who the party often lovingly refers to as The Stray. He spotted the five of them during the forementioned fight with a dragon and was so fascinated that he began to follow them around, writing songs and telling stories about them. Eventually, he was a vital part of the party. He's particularly useful in battle, charming and confusing their foes with his words and his lute. Over time, he even manages to charm Sten.
Sparrow is a tiefling rogue. Though she's a bit of a bumbling, rambling, and sarcastic addition to the party in the light of day, once she's hidden in the shadows of night, she becomes an asset in some of the trickiest situations. She has a knack for puzzles and traps and has saved their hides on more than one occasion. She doesn't like to fight, but she doesn't have to very often as she never strays far from Neera or Sten.
Sten is their protector. This half-elf Barbarian was once a cruel king but was overthrown and has since spent his time traveling and defending those in need. He fights with a magic-imbued, spiked club and will stand between anything and his friends, no matter his odds. He's much more approachable outside of battle and finds it fairly easy to make friends with people they meet in passing. He has a particular fondness for Sparrow. The one time she ever fell unconscious during battle, Sten proceeded to go into a blinding rage and ended the entire battle in twelve seconds flat.
The teens laugh at him when he presents The Six to them. They make fun of their names, their classes, the goofy voices Eddie gives them all. But the teens also claim they are their favorite NPCs, often keeping The Six updated even when they aren't traveling together, and they get especially excited when they run into them in the campaign.
In the end, during the last great battle, Eddie talks his older friends into playing. Despite seeing each other on a regular basis, the teens go batshit crazy when they realize they get to play with "the real life Six."

Hey, sorry if this is totally out of line, but I just thought I'd warn you about that corn kidz game. It has some pretty strong anti-immigration dog whistles in the second level, just letting you know so you can be prepared
oops saw this too late but yeah, I did pick up on some weird vibes in the NPC dialogue in that area while I was playing, but I wasn't sure if I should make anything of it. a lot of the game's "humor" (and also just like. major game design elements if I'm being honest) kinda bounced right off of me and put me in a less-than-great mood for most of my playthrough, so I was hesitant to criticize anything I wasn't fully sure about in case it was just me being a grump because I died from fall damage too many times. I'm often kinda wary of looking for Objective Serious Reasons to justify why I don't vibe with something subjectively, and doubly so when my judgment is already clouded by frustration.
but like, in hindsight yeah, the conflict presented between the pigs and owls was VERY fucking sketchy?? and like. in most other games I MIGHT be inclined to give it the benefit of the doubt, and say it wasn't intended to have greater meaning or was just handled clumsily. but with how deliberately mean-spirited and edgy the tone/writing is everywhere else, it's hard to feel like the allusions to heavier shit weren't intentional. the bit at the end of the level with the mayor whining about what a pain it was to accommodate the owls by canceling a festival that actively excluded them, or to keep the town's name changed as reparations for literally murdering their leader (and the protagonist not only agreed with him, but actively insisted those accommodations were stupid because they made his own efforts feel pointless), was when I really started to be like "hey this feels wrong" but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was at the time.
I don't think it's concrete enough that I would tell people not to play or enjoy the game over it, cuz there really isn't much in the way of story in the game anyways and generally it's not what people are playing it for, but it's certainly something worth keeping an eye out for. as someone who already didn't have a great time with the gameplay, the writing really didn't help my opinion of it, especially not now

A Few Grumps with LitRPGs
You know, one story I’d love to read would be a previously-isekai’d main character getting back to modern Earth, possibly with friends... just in time for a System Apocalypse. Cue, “Aw heck. Now what?”
Seriously, what would happen? Would the abilities they earned get shoehorned into whatever in the System sort-of fit them? Would they even get classed as human, or as NPCs? There are all kinds of potential complications for someone who’d gained special abilities and training in a more natural paradigm now forced into a game-style universe.
If the story went the way I’d like, the main character would find a way to break the System, and artificial classifications of powers and skills would go up in smoke. Because this is the key thing that gets me about System Apocalypse settings, more than gruesome means of surviving or power plays or whatever other craziness the revised world inflicts on people. Human beings are not game icons.
There’s no such thing as a level 10 plumber, a level 15 programmer, or a level 20 neurosurgeon. These are people. Individuals with varying amounts of skill and knowledge in different areas. One neurosurgeon may be excellent working on adults, but not children; another may specialize in younger patients. The amazing jazz player may be a stockbroker by day. The expert welder may go home and tie breathtakingly realistic flies for fishing. People are unique.
And the first thing Systems stories do is reduce human beings to stat menus.
I don’t like it.
Here I must admit I’ve never been much of a gamer. I’ve played RPGs, because that was the form of social interaction in various situations I was in. And I’ve always loved gamebooks, with their descriptions of characters and kingdoms, monsters and powers. I love the bits you can put into a story.
Treating a character as just a bunch of stat blocks and equipped items? Leaves me cold.
Storywise, reader-wise, I’m not sure it’s all that healthy. We use stories as examples of how to live. Or sometimes as horrible examples of, “See that? That’s stupid, or evil, or both. Don’t do that.”
A steady diet of stories where the most important thing about a person is the artificial boxes they’re put in... we have enough problems with that in real life. The human brain is used to making snap judgments of “my tribe” or “not my tribe”. Hardwiring that means living in a civilized society takes constant work and self-control, so we’re not all bashing each other over the head with clubs when that jerk took the last donut-!
We do not need to give that hardwiring any help.
As a light entertainment? Well, horror stories and first-person shooter games are things, too. But I don’t think I could write a LitRPG. It seems too crushing to characters’ humanity.
Thoughts?

Quest For Glory II: Trial by Fire | Part 2
Tumblr media
Day 2 in Shapeir with more exploring and shopping. Hopefully I won't get so lost this time but the map shows where I am on it, so that'll help a lot.
I started the day with some breakfast. Shema also told me she would be dancing this evening and would be pleased if I came. I ate and left with another reminder from Shameen that Shema would be dancing. They really want to make sure I know and come.
And I walked into Alichica's advertising.
Tumblr media
It made me snort in an ouch sort of way given the apparent not-so-good state of Raseir.
I bought a bouquet of flowers from Lisha the katta. And in the fountain plaza I bought a pot. I don't know what I'll do with the pot or flowers but if it's going to let me buy them I figure they'll have a use. My bargaining keeps working out very well.
Then it was apothecary time where there were plenty of things to examine including punful urns.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And a bookshelf with many books including "The Pizza Elemental: Fact or Fiction?"
The apothecary owner is Harik. He has vigor, healing, poison cure and mana pills for sale for 5, 10, 12 and 15 dinars respectively. Cheaper than the potions in QFG 1. He warned that if I ever go to Raseir I should stock up on pills here as the apothecary there was taken over by the new Emir and such things may not be available anymore. Other talk and questioning led him to offering to buy scorpion venom and ghoul claws off me for 20 and 15 dinars respectively. Something to keep in mind when I'm less afraid of monsters.
Okay, there are probably some things I could handle just fine. Even with a higher stat cap I'm not a total wimp here. But I'm still scared.
I was looking at the map trying to figure out where to go and it turns out the fighter's plaza and palace are already marked so I can fast travel to those places immediately. I decided to check out the fighter's plaza.
A place to buy waterskins was there, so it was a good thing I went as I'm going to want those for desert exploration. I bought two for a total of three. Maybe overkill but I'd rather be safe. I just need to watch my carried weight. I also bought a cloth bag from Kiram, who turned out to be the uncle of Shameen, nice! Love those little connections in NPCs. Said I was smooth of tongue when I successfully bargained.
I popped into the weapon shop. I don't really need a weapon, but I have to see all the things, and met Issur, who's kind of a grump.
Tumblr media
And flexes randomly, so a grump and a show-off?
The weapons on the wall were fun to examine.
Tumblr media
Look out wood-chucking woodchucks...
The other half of this plaza has the guild hall!
Tumblr media
The lion fellow is a liontaur named Rakeesh. The woman is Uhura and her baby is on the floor playing with Rakeesh's tail.
The Sultan summoned Rakeesh to aid against the Dark Magic hovering near the city, but fears he's not the hero he once was. Perhaps I'll be the hero they need. Of course! There are rumours that in Raseir laws have become more important than men and it's become a crime to think. Few go there and fewer return.
I went to check out the notice board for quests and whatnot.
1000 dinars will be given to the one who restores Emir Arus Al-Din to the palace of Raseir, by order of the Sultan Harun Al-Rashid.
Harik needs some stuff but I already discovered that myself at the apothecary.
Keapon needs the whirling part of a Dervish for a Spell of Great Power, so I needed to go inquire about that.
"The Way of the Paladin: To seek. To learn. To do." - Paladin is a class to pursue but not necessarily something I'll be doing as a wizard? I don't know; we'll see what happens. I kind of just want to be a pure wizard though.
And there's a general note that services to the city and land of Shapeir will be rewarded. By order of the Sultan.
I spoke to the lady next, Uhura. She trains warriors. She's working at the guild until her baby, Simba, is old enough for them to travel back to their homeland. She likes Rakeesh whom she thinks is a kind, wise and strong warrior, though his leg had been once been broken and never healed right. You can practice with her to get your combat skills up. I did one bout until my stamina ran out. Magic is more my thing, but you know, MP runs out. Nice to have a spot that won't kill me to get a bit more strength and weapon skill.
I did wipe out my stamina though, so I returned to the inn to sleep for an hour before continuing my explorations and returning to ask Keapon about the Dervish. The ability to just go sleep and recover your stamina is glorious.
Of course returning to the inn meant more advertising from Alichica.
Tumblr media
Keapon wants the whirl of a Dervish and will pay 1500 centimes, or 15 dinars, for it. The Dervish is at an oasis somewhere south and a bit east of Shapeir.
Tumblr media
Then I wanted to go visit Aziza and got some directions from Alichica. I was still confused half the time between his directions and the map, but I fumbled my way there.
At her door I had to answer some questions then a riddle.
Tumblr media
"My first is the first, My second the last, Next comes Myself, Then back to the end, And beginning again. Who am I?"
A riddle of which the last question is all you really need if you already know her name. But I suppose if you didn't learn of her before finding her place this is another way to figure out her name. That said the first time I saw this in the let's play I was puzzled too. I thought it'd be a word and was something along the lines of the LOVE riddle in King's Quest VI. But nope just her name.
So with "Aziza" stated, I entered.
Tumblr media
She invited me to sit and have some tea and we had some discussions. Info time!
She mainly works with water magic, "that of knowledge and true seeing." She can reflect magic back to the casters. Noted there is much magic in the land, some very dark.
The city is built around a magic fountain, and protected by mountains and the desert, has only known peace prosperity. UNTIL NOW.
Once again learned that things are bad in Raseir, that had once been like a twin to Shapeir. There's a darkness over the city she can't see through with her magic. She reiterated on the missing Emir and having been overthrown by his brother.
If I want to the find the Wizard's Institute of Technocery, I have to use magic.
And finally I asked her about Elementals and got treated to a neat little show with my explanation.
Tumblr media
Elementals are made from magic shaping elements into beings like living creatures. Elementals are very powerful and destructive and but can be weakened by their opposing element, though not destroyed. But, when they're weakened they can be captured and their powers turned to helpful uses. Good to know!
I will no doubt be back with more questions but I said farewell for now. And examined her shelves a bunch. She had lots of stuff to look at.
Lots of jokes.
Tumblr media
I just think she's kinda neat, and I will no doubt be back, but for now I had more city to explore.
With Detect Magic I got shiny arrows to direct me to the Wizard's Institute of Technocery which made finding it much easier than anything else in this city.
Tumblr media
It led me to a seeming dead-end until casting again to reveal the door. Then Open spell to open it of course.
Tumblr media
Portraits! We've got Aziza and someone I'm not sure of on one side and on the other: Genesta! from KQIV, Erasmus and I'm pretty sure that's Zara from the first game, the one who owned Spielburg's magic shop.
Voices reached out to me to ask who I was and what I wanted. My name is Cinder Win and I wanna be a pirate wizard! But I needed a sponsor and had the choice of who to request, and I'm kicking myself because of course I leapt on Erasmus as the funny choice, but he is the right choice, so I didn't get to see the responses of any of the others and I forgot to save before entering. So, I'll maybe have to load an older file at some point.
They were surprised I'd request such a... "whimsical Wizard" because they apparently have no taste. They don't appreciate his jokes or his 'levity', hmph.
Anyway, he was totally on board with taking me in. I would need to pass a pre-test and then the main test.
First the pre-test. I needed to pick the correct object and move it to a stand then cause it to ring with only three spells.
Simple! Detect Magic to find the right bell, Fetch to move it and Trigger to ring it. Which resulted in a celebratory brief little firework style display showing Erasmus and Fenrus' names before Erasmus himself. Glorious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
See? Erasmus is the best choice!
Then I was ready for the WIT's trial of Initiation which would test my skills under time-critical and life-threatening situations.
Tumblr media
It's a pretty area! A spinny blade thing appeared! I promptly fell off the bridge! And got booted back out into the street to try again when I've perhaps practiced more.
I was actually glad to end things there though because it was getting late in the day. I will go back another day earlier in the day. I mainly had just wanted to get it on my map.
Before I went back to the inn I went to see the sauruses and met Ali Fakir....
And I'm just... gonna let some screenshots speak for themselves with this man.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes I groaned appreciatively at "The Saurus".
I bargained for one and got a green fellow who licked my face in greeting.
Tumblr media
Cutie...
But I was most definitely not ready to head into the desert when night was about to fall at any moment. In fact as soon as I entered town again it was night.
So, it was inn time to see Shema's dance...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I guess I was too late to get dinner...
But I wasn't too late to get some spell practice in, not save part way, get spotted by a guard and get arrested again! I had saved right before but had do all my practicing again. One of these nights I'll practice without getting caught.
Then it was bed time. Day 2 in Shapeir complete. Day 3 here we come.

Stardew valley x bugsnax mod ideas
(I'm trying to make this a thing? But no promises though lol. I'm mostly writing this out to see what other people think.)
Alex: Chandlo
Alex is way to misogynistic to be chandlo, but this can be fixed through editing the dialogue.
Abigail: Liz
Abigail feels a bit too young for Liz to take her place, but other than that I feel she fits pretty well.
Elliot: Wiggle
I was originally gonna make Wiggle take Sam’s place, but this feels a bit more fitting, with the whole writers block thing and all. (Also I'm halfway done with her sprites and I don't want to redo them lol)
Emily: Shelda
Shelda and Beffica would still live in the same house. They’re not blood relatives, but Beffica sees her as a grandmother figure :0)
Haley: Beffica
It fits perfectly and you can’t convince me otherwise. They even share a love for photography!
Harvey: Eggabell
Again, fits pretty well. Apart from the whole pilot thing from Harvey’s storyline but oh well.
Leah: Wambus (and hopefully triffany, I don’t know how easy it is to mod an entirely new character in though. Maybe i can edit sandy into Triffany?)
Wambus feels kinda out of place but I literally have no other ideas for him lmao
(I know I could have Triffany take the place of a non romancable npc (like the museum guy or the island archeologist) but I don’t wanna separate her from everyone else? If that makes sense.)
Sam: Filbo
I feel like Sam is “too cool” for Filbo, but I could probably change that through some edits to the dialogue.
Sebastian: Snorpy
I feel like Sebastian is a bit too “emo” for snorpy, but I could fix that through dialogue. The motorcycle part is a bit more out of character but oh well.
Shane: Cromdo
Sad old men. Enough said.
Maru: Floofty
I feel like it could work with again, some dialogue edits.
Penny: Gramble
Toxic home life, loves kids, kinda shy, he’s perfect to replace her lol. (I would say I don’t even need to edit his dialogue but I wanna keep his accent in...)
Krobus: Alegander or Snacksquatch (???)
I didn’t know who else to put for Krobus… I might not even touch him tbh. I feel like Alegander might work better replacing Mr Qi. now that I think about it...
Another idea was to replace Krobus with the Snacksquatch, because I think having it as a room mate would be silly :03 (Or maybe I could find a way to put triffany here??)
Notes:
*Npcs related to the bachelors/ bachelorettes would be original characters. Ex: Pam, Penny’s mom will be changed to Grambles mom, (or at least my interpretation of her) ect.)
*I wanna make all the characters are grumps, npcs, background characters ect. But the player character might be a bit too tricky…
*I’m probably gonna end up editing everyone’s dialogue in one way or another, to keep their characters intact. Writing in Wambus and Gramble’s accents shouldn’t be too hard for me, but I might fuck up a bit on Liz and triffany a little :'0)
*I might swap Floofty and Snorpy’s places?? I feel like it could work out either way but still.
Lemme know what you guys think! Sorry if this got a bit long, I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I needed to get it all out of my system

Want Angel to convince David to play Stardew Valley with them
Imagine if they got him to do joint funds (non-stardew players, joint funds is the WORST) and the whole time he's getting pissed because Angel just bought a stupid chair and now they're down to 18g
Not to mention them flirting with all the npcs while David is just trying to grow potatoes
(silly little imagines under the cut, idk how it ended up there but it did)
Angel showing him around the town and casually trash talking the villagers
Angel: this is Shane, he's a grump like you
David: ...did he just tell me to fuck off
Angel: There's Mayor Lewis, don't talk to him.
David: *increasingly concerned* why?
Angel: 👁️👁️
Angel: FUCK Clint, all my homies HATE Clint *proceeds to flip off the screen*
David: what is wrong with you.
David: *exploring npcs homes* wait wha- "Pierre's 'secret stash'"????
Angel: holy shit I knew that capitalist bastard was on something-
Lil bonus ✨
David: why is your character asking if we should have a baby-

Favourite Loyalty Mission:
Favourite DLC:
Control, Synthesis or Destroy:
Favourite Weapon:
Favourite Place:
A quote I like:
I have been a fan since: 2021. I had been meaning to try the first game since 2017. I played for one evening, then life happened and I forgot about it. Fast forward to the 2021, when having less work and no longer having a commute made me go 'well, why not use this time to mitigate my existential dread and deaden my emotions with... oh. Okay. Nevermind that'. And then I sank... I don't know, a little under 200 hours into it? Yeah.
Favourite game of the series?: ME2. I think I like the stakes and storytelling of ME3 better (also, I think it was the first game to ever make me cry? Several times?), but ME2 is very character-focused and I just live for that.
MShep or FShep?: Well, I usually play as female characters (the one recent exception I can think of being a M!Cousland because that was the only way marry Anora. I have no regrets.) so I'm not really in a position to compare.
Earthborn, Colonist or Spacer?: Earthborn on my Paragon playthrough, colonist on the Renegon one. (I also started a spacer one but did not finish it).
Biotics or Tech: Both, but for different reasons. I like the visuals of biotics (yes, I really am that shallow), and having an enemy NPC floating helplessly in the air while you take aim is really, really convenient. That said, the 'overload' ability is extremely helpful, and I really like Tali's little drone, so tech is pretty cool too. I just usually make sure I have both in the squad (except for specific missions like the moon base in ME1).
Paragon or Renegade: Hmm, so... I'm going to say Renegon, because Renegade is very entertaining at times, and absolutely awful at other times (particularly in ME3). But my first Shepard was a bleeding heart Paragon. She was just so nice.
Favourite Class: Anything that lets me experience the story without dying too many times (and I play on casual so that's really all of them). That said, I find myself rather partial to the Vanguard's charge ability. It's not necessarily the *most* useful, but it's just too satisfying not to use.
Favourite Companion: Hmm. Well, I love EDI's dry humour and the fact that she becomes more human over time, so I'll just go with EDI...But honestly, it is a tough choice, especially when old grump Javik is right there, and Tali melts my heart, and Liara's arc is so good, and Wrex is too funny but also pretty tragic, and... see what I mean?
Least favourite Companion: Jacob. The thing with Jacob is, I don't even dislike him, I just think his writing is... how do I put it? Not bad, per se, but it doesn't quite pull me me in. He's pretty much the only companion who remained 'a coworker' on all my playthroughs. Other were either 'best pals' (Tali, Garrus, Wrex), great romances (Liara, Garrus, Thane), or downright antagonistic at times but in a way that felt natural and brought something to the story (Miranda and Jack come to mind).
My squad selection: I don't have a fixed one.
Favourite In-game romance: Garrus
Other pairings I like: Miranda/Jack, Javik/Liara, Tali/Garrus, Nyreen/Aria
Favourite NPC: Matriarch Aethyta
Favourite Antagonist: Saren
Favourite Mission: Virmire
Favourite Loyalty Mission: Tali/'Treason'
Favourite DLC: I haven't played them all (I haven't bought the Legendary Edition so they were separate purchases. This means I have never recruited Kasumi or played Lair of the Shadow Broker, any knowledge I have of them comes from the fandom + a couple of videos), but I really enjoyed the Omega DLC.
Control, Synthesis or Destroy: Oh man... I mean... I feel like Control comes with fewer moral downsides in the short term? Organics remain organics, so no consent issues there, and the Geth and EDI get to survive... the only real downside is that Shepard is gone. But in the long term? Who's to say they're not the new big bad? It's the one I went with on my 'Renegade' playthrough and her monologue was pretty chilling. Also, there's a degree of sadness in her being 'still there but gone'. What does the grieving process look like for Liara (or whoever else was romanced)? For Shepard themself? Isn't it lonely up there? I don't know, there are just so many questions. That said I went with 'Destroy' (and high EMS) on my first run because I looked up a wiki as I played and I wanted Shepard to survive. Let her and Garrus adopt baby Krogans.
Favourite Weapon: Ermm. I'm not good with names (or details in general for that matter 😂) but that big Prothean rifle you find in ME2? Yeah. That one.
Favourite Place: Ilium. Again, I am shallow. Though I initially mistyped that as Ilos (again, I am bad with names) and you know what? I love Ilos too, but more for the feels than its aesthetic. Also Liara's reactions. And the music when you get to Vigil.
A quote I like: "You did good, child. You did good. I'm proud of you." Man, the delivery got me right in the feels.

Sorry for the wall of text in advance lol. I've been really horribly depressed all day following a dream I had about my late best friend, so I tried to cheer myself up by spending a little time with Charles. Had myself a lovely photoshoot with Blair and Charles, and of course Johnny and Taima. Honestly these photoshoots do make me so happy, but on the other hand, they make me SOOO painfully aware of how alone I am lol... but I digress. I noticed that Blair seems more comfortable with Charles, which I find interesting. Maybe I'm just crazy, but she always looks so uncomfortable around Dutch. She gets stiffer, her eyes are wider. Guess Blair's just aware that Dutch is not only old enough to be her father, but also is happily taken lol. I think Dutch feels the same way, though; mostly in regards to this tiny little lady that's dressed like him being all up in his bubble. Poor guy's like "Get this short ass woman away from me, where's my husband?" He just has permanent grump face the entire time they're together. Admittedly though, I also just kinda like Charles' expressions more (sorry Dutch lol). While Dutch is just in a perpetual state of... snarly grumpedness??? Charles looks stoic but he doesn't look *angery* like Dutch does. Either way, this was a really nice, relaxing break away from the chaos that is Valentine. Of course afterward I threw myself right back in the middle of a whopping EIGHT other modders plus some odd number of nonmodder players, but we had a good time. ♥ Or, they did, at least. I just sat by and remained quiet as I usually do, but that's just me lol, I've got NPC energy.

What are your Top 5 All Time Favorite DND campaign moments? Doesn't matter if you're a player or DM.
IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER
We made a session where the players were asked by a gold dragon to retrieve a globe from an anti dragon town, only to have the globe hatch into a baby gold dragon the players had to sneak out of the city
I dm’d a section where players uncovered an abandoned cultist lair to Vecna. They found a hand and eye made of human teeth, a room of self harm, then in a library a voice spoke to them. The ranger had a passive perception of 20 and was scared shitless when they couldn’t see the source. It was a nothic, a CR 5 dude when the party was six peeps at lvl 12.
Bodying Strahd when he came to fuck up our party with a nat 20 to tackle this man. 8ft minotaur fighter bulldozing the dark domain’s big bad.
I dm’d a solo session around the conceit that Pelor might be evil AND PULLED IT OFF. There’s a big conspiracy theory that Pelor may be a demon prince instead of a holy deity. So I made a gothic horror town like Innistrad centered around Pelor, only for the player to discover Pelor shackled the world’s version of the devil to the land who continues to cause suffering.
Saving this for all the npc’s I’ve made my buds have loved and adored: Taenth the brass dragon who hoards lifelong loves, Imro the lovable big grump of a red dragon, Jubilance the one in the throuple who reminds everyone to drink water, Yeen the boisterous gnoll merchant, Belorrel the secret dragon in a human town with a penchant for pastry making, Alixi the ex yuan ti guard who seeks outer peace, Fletch the plucky half-fiend aarakocra with a beast of a wild shape, Sir Rokas the leonin leader who’s mentor to many, its your love of my characters that makes me want to dm.

I was very excited to storm Waloed (that's where Cid was from yes?) and beat up Barnabas and get Odin but then -
So. Many. Sidequests.
They are EVERYWHERE
And I'm always a bit afraid they vanish past a certain point AND I could use the exp and gear, so questing it is.
It's kind of hilarious how different the mood od the quests is. Here you have the ones with Wade and the Guardians of the Flame which are very hopeful and inspiring. There's the one with Theo and Eloise, which is OUCH.
And then there is just a dude ad the Hideaway who wants to eat food made of monster parts and I'm just like "LAIOS THAT YOU?!" (what, I just finished Dunmeshi, don't blame me XD)
I think one of my favorites, besides the one with Otto and Cid's letter of course, is the questline with Blacktorne the Smith. I like the grumpy old man and his buddy who does everything to cheer up the old grump.
Also I got Joshua in the party now due to the mainquest, and sometimes he and Clive actually talk about the sidequests which is cool but a bit baffling because it never happened before with the other party members. I think it would have been neat if the others commented as well, and depending on who is with you you get different reactions.
Oh and there were snippets of Dio returning to - Sanbreque? I mix up the locations a lot - and his reaction to the devastation is uncontrolled priming brought to it. That was a very well-done scene! And I like how one of the slum kids dragged the wounded prince to a house and took care of him. They really must have loved him, his people (btw either they reused the model, or that's the same NPC girl that kept trying to sell potions and salves in different cuscenes and different locations)
AND! Fellow FF16 players, tell me - what is your favorite build / eikon combination? I'm trying to find one I like, because only three at once is so little with how many options there are, but I just can't find the perfect one for me. Currently running Phoenix / Ifrit, Shiva, and Titan.
