Burning away stress over the last couple of days with mindless patterns. Sort of like the lineless coloring books I've used before but more flexible as I'm just making my own washes and then following whatever shapes i think I can see in them.

I'm at it again, my obsession with the number 2 has taken over me again (I need to give 2 boops ahead of the boops I have received in number count). This is something I heard the autistic community shares with the OCD community, but some of us will have a fixation with doing something a certain number of times. When I was a kid, I was obsessed with doing everything twice. I needed to do as much as I could double, like tapping something twice or kissing my cats twice in a row. I needed that repetition. And still upon occasion I still feel the urge to do things twice or be two points ahead of my opponents in games. I can't with the number two- To this day, I blame Jacob Two-Two for inspiring that habit in my subconscious.

"you don't even know me," you told hoshina. you ought to feel proud of yourself for mustering the courage and self-control - vice captain hoshina soshiro would have heard a different response had it been some other girl he confessed his feelings to. "i mean, respectfully." you swallowed, mentally cringing; just because hoshina apparently likes you does not change the fact that he is still your commanding officer.

hoshina didn't move for a few seconds, watching you. "i mean, challenge accepted," he replied and the pleasant teasing tone of his voice almost made you dizzy.

it took days and weeks and months. every mission, every exhaustive training session, every meal break, and every sleepless night that you attempt to remedy by keeping count of the stars in the clear tokyo sky was spent with vice-captain hoshina beside you. most of the time if you are up for it, he makes conversation; in some cases it seemed to be enough for him to just look at you.

so this is how it feels to be known - hoshina soshiro had taken it upon himself to decipher you, as if you are a mystery he couldn't leave unsolved. so this is how it feels to be unraveled - from being able to recognise your favorite song, to knowing which food comforts you after a long day, to understanding even the slightest change in your facial expressions.

it shouldn't have been a surprise that hoshina hoped and wanted to be familiar with your body too. so when the straps of your bra fell down your arms, it would seem that the third division vice-captain had discovered one more thing about you. "i didn't know you have moles anywhere else," hoshina said, almost breathlessly, referring to the pair of dark specks on the valley of your chest. "well, now you do," you responded with a smile.

made a little guyyyyy. recently finished outer wilds, saw @eringurumi's nomai plush, and then threw myself into making the hatchling because i already had the colors on hand. i'm very happy with how it turned out, and glad i committed to making the bedding and jetpack detatchable

I was going to make a post about how Duke is the only Robin Dick chose but then I remembered that Alfred actually chose him first. Then I remembered that Alfred chose Damian, too, by handing him the suit first in Battle for the Cowl. Then I remembered that Alfred also helps convince Bruce to make Tim Robin. So Alfred essentially chooses/endorses every Robin post-Jason, and weirdly has more of a say in the Robin legacy than either Dick or Bruce.

sorry but I have to throw in my 5 cents, I keep hearing and even seeing so many clickbait videos about Pianosaurus being a bait and how Mob waisted him yada yada yada and like...? Would it have been better to have him than Baba and hopefully get a better sequence or sth? yeah! did he serve his purpose perfectly in the story from a narrative set up perspective? YES.

I think people don't realise how important of a scene is the introduction of a major character!!! and pianosaurus was crucial for the introduction of Doey! that cut scene gave me actual chills. think about it, not only is it a jumpscare, but we see a smiling Doey show up and offer us help after he just brutally ripped apart a toy of which he knew had a person stuffed inside it .

it shows how unstable Doey is, it places all these doubts and ideas in the player's head about his character, it also shows his strength and just how scary Doey can be, it's terrifying! and perfectly so for a horror game!!

so yeah maybe pianosaurus was a wasted opportunity, because of his cool design, but I think the writers did an amazing job with him and that scene has to be one of my favourites in the whole chapter
