Solarpunk is so important to me

Not just as a punk rock person named Apollo who identifies (spiritually) as the embodiment of the sun and solar energy. But as a concept

See Steampunk is all machines and rust and pollution. Many books ive read set in Steampunk themed universes are dystopian at worst (Descendants of Rust, Locklands) and saddening young-adult fantasies at best (The Mark of the Dragonfly, His Dark Materials trilogy).

Cyberpunk is themed with The Takeover Of The Web, think A.I.: Artificial Intelligence or the Tron universe. Everybody is either cyborg with hardly any full humans left at all (Ghost in the shell, Battle Angel Alita) or they can't tell the difference between AI and Human (Ex Machina)

But Solarpunk is literally meant to be eutopian. It's got themes of community and family, of rebuilding the planet, of making amends for harm done. Just looking at pictures on pinterest you find solar panels, wastelands full of thriving gardens.

It really inspired me to make my Punk more Solar you know. Seed bombs, moss grafitti, stuff like that really brightens up my shitty middle-of-nowhere, crumbling abandoned buildings and old train tracks, dystopian-ass town. Tossing a few seed bombs for wild ramps into those old grown-over holes where buildings used to be really brings joy to me. Especially when I see people in power complaining about how people can have free food now.

Gotta say. I fucking love when characters HAVE done wrong but are forgiven anyways. When they very much DID do something bad (maybe MANY things) and they DID hurt someone (or maybe MULTIPLE people) and yet instead of the plot going "no you did nothing wrong ever" or "yes you messed up go die forever" it instead goes "no its okay. You're getting better and you are just as worthy of love and care as the rest of us." When a character is allowed to actually LEARN from their mistakes. And grow. And change. And get better. And even when the character thinks they don't DESERVE to be loved because of all the bad things they did in the past, the characters around them remind them that they're gonna be loved anyways. Yes this is about the cat.

Hi to my Coroika and phighting fans so how are we feeling about this one

cooked these up in a few hours! These honestly didn’t really take that long at all and were really fun to do since I got to play around with some charcoal brushes (I love doing everything in my power to NOT use midtones lmfao).

I tired to mimic the style of the manga a bit and I think i did relatively okay! I have a lot more of these planned so yeah >:3! Really excited to get to do them sometime

Doing Floyd headcanons right after my Riddle ones is not me pushing my FloRid agenda. I swear

• Floyd's favorite thing after coming to land was learning of the existence of the slip 'n' slide. Do not let him near one unless you want a moray eel catapulting himself at people

• He always gets the shirley temples just for the shark and then gives the drink to Riddle

• Hates worksheets. Especially if they're science or math. He finds them incredibly boring and refuses to do them (i'm in chem and barely know what i'm doing cause it's so boring help 💀)

• Bites. Affectionately and agressively

• Floyd loves sketching, especially different types of fish. He also sketches his own outfits and had made diy t-shirts with bleach

• Loves to turn off his brain and play candy crush

• He came up with the idea to pierce his and Jade's ears & Floyd tried to do it himself but Azul ended up piercing both their ears

It appears I have been sung towards a very fine establishment indeed! Upon witnessing the great Fun being had here, I found it of very, very, much, much.... i-imperch... to make myself a little housing point here! As of now, I have four missions to complete:

1: Get my hourglass dog back! I threw him up on Auction Day, but to my great misfortune, the last time I saw him was during my race against my friend Moony to meet the Great Runas. The reward for finding him is currently choccies, but it may rise to such heights as one fatty catty if the circumstances become too dire...

2: Communicate some information to my dear pal Moony! Indeed, you lovely reader, that is an astute observation, I seemed to have already communicated something to her. Unfortunately, that was a gift, not an information, and as she was the gift there was nothing to communicate. She communicated herself to herself. If there are any Moonies out there, please reach out to me, I am in quite the kerfluffle.

3: Find the Fun! Now, this is a very biggity big personal goal of mine- I simply must find it! I can't go ON with these INCOMPREHENSIBLE FEELINGS FOREVER!!! ADHFDKJSAHFJK WAHHHHHHHH- ahem. my sincerest apologies. But, in any case, my aim is to find the true essence of merriment! I do not understand it yet... but I hope to! Very soon!

4: Eat turròn. To my great distress, I have recently come to the realization that since I have gifted my turròn to the beautiful Shepherd (who, by the way, I would also love to meet again) , I never got the chance to eat it. This is upsetting to me. I wish to eat the turròn. If there are any turròns out there with turròn recipes or any turròn of turròn, please turròn to me with the turrònformation.
