Can I just say how much I love and appreciate your tribute to Nigel on the KI blog? I think you not only hit the nail on the head when talking about Ambrose as a character, but you also acknowledged how much talent and wisdom it took for Mr. Lambert to fuse his skills in with a Headmaster with a richer lore than a lot of players tend to acknowledge. <3 Sending the KI team lots of love during this news.

Aw thank you anon, that means a lot to hear :'D I also think the blurb that Narrative & Sound wrote touched similarly on Mr. Lambert's talents as well. I wish I could have had to chance to meet him, even if it was just verbally. I would have loved to talk to him about how much I loved his performance as Ambrose, and let him know how much the character meant to me in part due to his acting.

do you still enjoy playing wizard101?

Playing, as in the core mechanics of the game? Not really, honestly.

Personally I feel the card play aspect has become too overstuffed/convoluted? Though this could be personal preference. The 'ease' of just stacking blades, traps, among other buffs, with the occasional charms or specialty spells was perfect for me... arc1/2/some of 3's gameplay was where it was at for me personally. Mirage/Empyrea was where I started to feel frustrated with the combat aspect.

I'll be honest, even as the story nut I am, I'm not.... really up to date with anything of the last few recent years. I know enough for what we're needed to know at work and that's about it.

Also this is a completely personal preference as well, but I'm not always a fan of the more recent spell cinematics across the board. I prefer like... actual monsters and beasts/mythical creatures or cataclysms and all that... some of them are just... too out there for me nowadays. Some have been great! I liked the ice spell for the krok update, for example. Others... not so much.

Though I should also say, I'm dealing with some heavy burnout and depression right now, so things I typically enjoy are less so right now just as a baseline.

N4! I still need to study plenty, my language level is a bit unbalanced, I think I'm halfway through Genki 1 but I also listen and read plenty, I attended courses for two years (that burned me out to a crisp and I barely remember shit lol) and I need to polish my grammar a bit so... Idk, it won't hurt to try. Even a failed exam will be something to hold in hand.

Do you have a main Wizard? Have you talked about them much?

HAH, yea I do, I forgor I don't talk about her (or any of my wiz oc's) a whole lot on here, lol. In recent years I've honestly thought wayyyy more about The Wizard as a character rather than my personal wizard(s) as characters, but they still hold a place in my heart.

But my main wiz is an Ice Wizard named Andrea... no last name. just Andrea :'D here's a really old photo of her from 2016 BUT it's what I still consider to be her most canon outfit so here ya go:

Andrea's starts out a very nervous and cautious individual. She wasn't at all interested in Wizardry until her sister Taylor (non blood related- Andrea was adopted by Taylor's mom, owner of the Dye shop, when they were both infants) enrolls in Ravenwood as a first year, and long story short they both end up being encountered by Malistaire similar to in the tutorial, Andrea discovers she has pretty powerful magic, and is persuaded into attending Ravenwood alongside her sister; shortly after they start getting invovled with Malistaire's doings and stopping the undead around Wizard City, meet two of my other wiz characters (a nb myth wizard named Jamie, and a hoh/mute life wizard named Aaron who are childhood friends who also fall in love later on as adults), and then later they meet my Necromancer named Daniel in Marleybone, who has also been chasing down Mali as well- Daniel is like a year older than my other wizards and was a student when Mali was still teaching at RW. The five of them then continue on their quest together through the events of the game.

Andrea's fears and anxieties deter the more adventures she goes on.... but her stubbornness and rigidity grow, esp in arc 2-3. Taylor's passion for justice & helping those in need also turns a bit more revenge driven/tunnel visioned after Azteca.

I also had two storm wizards that pop up to join the gang in Celestia, but they're a bit less fleshed out than my 'main 5' so to speak.

Balance wizards were a bit more uh, 'rare' of a wizard to meet. I think initially the game also treated them as 'rare' b/c it was much harder magic to master than the other schools due to it's role in combining of other magics to achieve an equilibrium.

Anyway. I don't know what im trying to write here anymore so i'll just stop lol. But ye, Andrea's my main wizard and her and Taylor butt heads a lot and i love them and all my wizards dynamics. thank u lol.

1. a dear friend is back on tumblr!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥺 am so happy to see them waaahh... i hope our other friends will follow along and come back home soon too T^T wishing for it with all my heart~

2. thankful to be able to eat and drink, as always hehe... i had a babybel today after so many years!! it's very fun to peel back the red strips and nibble on it straight out of the wax shell >v< it paired nicely with red grapes! yumza 😋

3. grateful for entropy!!! how the universe naturally moves towards disorder... i think there's a certain mercy in the way things don't last forever because it means that painful times can't last forever too ^__^;; things are always shifting and unraveling and i'm glad to be able to understand this and hold onto this promise and that there will always be something beautiful to find no matter where you look!!!!!

6. i got my poster printed for the conference next week!!!! i'm grateful that grad students get free printing, otherwise i would have had to part with a hefty chunk of monies which i have been saving for comms uwah. very excited to pick it up tomorrow and see it in full... my graphs are tabico and yaoco colours!!!!!!! 🥺🥺 it's a tiny detail but it makes my heart happy hehe ^V^ i will do my best to present our research well!!! (ง •̀ᴗ•́)ง

Yes! I've actually seen the trailer twice at the cinema last month. Although, I can't say if/when I'll watch the movie because the trailer/atmosphere/plot didn't really speak to me, and I'm afraid that he won't appear enough for me to want to spend money/time on it, y'know? Anyway. Long story short, I have heard!

The house was crowded with Rick's families and friends. He just got done spending time with his counterpart and now he wanted to see Clarissa. And he found her at the right time and place.

He noticed the bushel of mistletoe that hung over her head. Smirking to himself, he made a beeline straight towards her. Not letting anyone else get in his way.

Wrapping an arm around her waist, he pulled her in close. Using his other hand to cup her jaw. Their bodies pressed against each other and he gazed into those beautiful eyes of hers.

"Damn, perfect timing to catch you under the mistletoe like this," He whispered as he leaned in close. "Makes me want to kiss the shit out of you~"

Pressing his lips against her own, he softly kissed her. His lips moved in a slow rhythm. Careful not to get any faster or intense. He didn't want it to be like that. What he wanted was to showcase his feelings in a much more intimate way. And this was the perfect way.

When he stopped, his lips still lingered on hers. "L-Let's get out of here, somewhere more private where it's just the two of us~"

Sleepy King

The Justice League Dark caught wind of a cult trying to summon the Ghost King. A being with power so terrible and great, that all of the chaotic Infinite Realms feared him. A true tyrant. Long ago it took the effort of ghosts equal to gods to seal him away into a permeant slumber.

And now this cult wishes to wake him and bring him to the living realm. It was a race against the clock to find the ritual site and all members were called on board, magic or not. Even Constantine looked stressed.

They did find the site.

But it was too late, the ritual was completed. The entire inner circle of runes glowed before being swallowed in a column of green light. The air filled with static and a ringing that made Supergirl crumble to the ground.

The light dissipated, but there was no great figure or being of pure evil. Instead there was a boy, a teenager. He laid on the ground curled up in his sleep. He was a ghost no doubt, dressed in regal clothing.

Despite this when he stirred, everyone froze. It seemed the cold hard ground woke him up. He got up slowly and yawned, revealing his sharp fangs. Once sat up he opened his bleary eyes to look around. He looked confused and tired, really tired.

"Where am I?" He mumbled. "I was trying to get some sleep." Constantine internally screaming, latches onto that last sentence. He glances over to Batman. He caught that last part too. Batman approaches calmly and crouches down in front of the boy king. Hardening his resolve, Batman takes on a gentle tone.

"Hey kiddo, sorry we woke you. Lets get you back to bed yeah?" The boy nodded in agreement. He pulled himself to his feet before looking around in a circle. "Where did my blanket go?" He asked rather sadly. Batman is quick to shed his own cape and drape it over him. "You can borrow my cape until we get you a new one." He nodded again, pulling the black fabric around himself.

John quickly summoned a portal door, while Batman led the King through it. John threw looks around at everyone. Everyone could tell he was mouthing the words. 'Find me a fucking blanket now'

Running on the logic of getting the king away from Earth, away from graves and the undead, that could give him power. The portal led to the Watch Tower.

Batman took advantage of the King's bleary state to send a base wide alert for all noncritical members to evacuate immediately. With a priority that death adjacent members leave first. "The stars are pretty." Bruce looked at the boy staring out the window in wonder. He almost looked like a normal kid, almost.

"Yeah they are, it's pretty late so we should get you back to bed." He nodded, going along with Batman's gentle coaxing.

He takes the boy to an unused bedroom. Making sure the room isn't dusty and that lights are dimmed. He glances back to see about a dozen different leaguers all holding blankets, one thought to bring extra pillows. The bed was pretty barren with only a single pillow and a thin bedsheet. So Bruce took a thick duvet, one of the fluffier blankets and a second pillow from his team before shooing them away.

The boy ended up keeping his cape, mumbling how it was warm. He tucked the boy in, before quietly exiting the room and turning off the light. He was pretty sure the King fell back to sleep before he even reached the light switch.

After the door shut, he made direct eye contact with John. "Constantine." They needed to figure out what the hell was going on.
