The most important story missed by the United States Media. It is the ongoing assault on American Democracy by the autocratic right wing in this country. Brilliantly described by Steve Schmidt
I was thinkin’ about this the other day, but I don’t think the goofy mfs at Disney realize how big a mistake they made in cancelling The Owl House. I mean, like, imagine if they never did, right? Imagine the Mouse lettin’ Luz and Co. have twenty more adventures. Imagine a world in which the Magic Kingdom had a portion of the theme park dedicated to the Boiling Isles. Imagine all the TOH merch Disney could sell. Imagine TOH themed emojis in Disney Emoji Blitz, or Sora bein’ able to visit the BI in Kingdom Hearts 4, or even your character befriending various TOH characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The fact that none of that will happen in this timeline is incredibly sad, and Disney really missed out on what could have been a golden opportunity for them.
never gonna forget my boss who, when we both got off work at the same time and were walking home, proceeded to explain what a “shower beer” was to me, a person who was underage, and that i should “try it some time, preferably after a hard week’s work”. miss you Eric u were a real one
i need to stop being reminded that the seven are canonically very awkward around each other and hardly talk at all.
let me live in my sunshine rainbow world where they're all friends, are each other's 'found family,' where hazel, piper, and annabeth are best friends, where leo, jason, frank, and percy are like brothers, where jason and piper never existed, where hazel and piper were actually friends (that they should've been), and leo and percy are the most sarcastic and funny people you've ever met (and they make each other even funnier)!!!!!
finding out how many minutes of music people listen to in a year is so interesting especially as someone whose stats are comparatively low. how do you 60k minutes per year people focus on anything. that’s a skill you should put on your resume
This might be a hot take, but I actually like that Percy figured out Luke was the traitor at the last minute. There were A LOT of clues that would’ve been hard to ignore, and he ignored them for as long as he could. And it’s clear that even after accusing Luke, he’s still surprised and heartbroken at Luke’s confirmation of his suspicions. He was holding out hope, guys!!
Also, the Betrayal Scene flows better as an exchange of dialogue and a swordfight than it did, in the books, as a monologue and a scorpion sting. This also leaves a bigger impact on the viewers and characters because it’s more emotional.
