Kakashi Hatake :

You were very close to the Uchiha clan and you were devastated by the events of that famous night which had deprived you forever of your two best friends Shisui and Itachi.

It seemed to be a twist of fate when you stumbled upon a strange black notebook that you had found in the forest under a bramble bush - ouch

Once you got to know the God of Death, whom you discovered was called Ryuk, you decided to use the extraodinary power of this find to avenge the death of your friends and the Uchiha clan

The first person you used it on was of course Danzo Shimura, the one who caused the situation to go wrong

Of course you didn't do this in the normal way, you could have just written his name down and made him die of a heart attack but you made a show of it, you made him go to the public square, explain his crimes, show the eye he had stolen from Shisui and the eyes he had grafted in his right arm, after that you made him tear out his eye and cut off his arm before cutting off his tongue, the tongue that had caused so much harm before he stuck the kunai in his lung and let him die of asphyxiation

Of course everyone - or almost everyone - had witnessed the scene and was almost more shocked at what he had done while he was alive than at the violence of his death

Kakashi had noticed that day that the atmosphere in the village had changed, a climate of fear reigned

All thought it was made by a Genjutsu but Sasuke had disappeared, only Kakashi remained, who of course knew that he had done nothing. However he noticed that you didn't seem to be really upset, dare he even say that you seemed happy about it. After all it was legitimate but still

So he decided not to worry but to keep an eye on you, not because he suspected you but in case the author of this act tried to come after you

But if only he knew

After that you started to go on missions for the Hokage, without telling him, you always took missions that would allow you to be in the same area as the enemies that you wanted to get ride of with your Death Note and thanks to the power of the Shinigami eyes

No one ever made the connection between your missions and his unexpected deaths

Well, nobody except Kakashi, who noticed that the deaths were taking place during the same periods as your absences, he just didn't know where you were going or where the enemies you were killing were

He had also noticed a strange change in your aura, a kind of melancholy associated with eagerness but what he didn't know. It also seemed that on the rare occasions when you were in Konoha and he came to spend time with you, you refused to go out all the time and even did everything to get him out of your house as soon as possible, as if you had better things to do

He would have advised you to sleep, because of the dark circles under your eyes that showed your lack of sleep

But EVERYTHING went wrong one evening, when he was walking in the forest to clear his head, he stumbled upon a familiar figure lying on her stomach on the ground behind a bush, writing frantically and laughing psychotically

His eyes widened and he stepped on a branch that cracked making you stop moving before whipping your head towards him

"Y/n what are you doing here ?" he asked his voice shaking as if it knew something more than he did. He held his hand out to you to help you up, but it didn't have the desired effect at all

"Don't touch it ! Stay back !" you yelled clutching the Death Note against your chest, he took another step in your direction, resuming in you throwing a kunai at his feet made him stop his advance

"Y/n what the hell are you doing ?" he asked surprised in his voice clear and noticeably out of breath

Another noise was heard and Anbus ninjas, which obviously took you in tailing for a while already, unfortunately your measures did not allow you to escape

"L/n Y/n you are under arrest" one of them shouted at you but you didn't listen to anything

You quickly wrote their names while avoiding their attacks, they all started to fight again one another and the last one fell down dead of a heart attack in the next 30 seconds under the frightened eyes of Kakashi

"I'm ridding the world of evil and creating a utopia. No matter how much time I have, it won't be enough. I have no time to loose on you"

He couldn't believe his eyes, his legs were shaking slightly and his breathing was shallow "Oh no not again" he thought, he felt like the day he had seen Obito again after all those years thinking he was dead

Your wild eyes locked on his, and he took a step backwards for fear that you would decide to attack him if you felt rushed by his proximity

"Please Y/n put that down we'll settle-"

"No ! I did this for all of us ! I have avenged the village and I will continue to purify the world as a vengeful and protective deity-"

"Protective deity ? Can you hear yourself talk ?!?" his brain was working at full speed, how should he handle the situation, should he arrest you or let you execute criminals at all, should he go as far as killing you- no no it's impossible, he already lost everything, he can't afford to lose the person he cares about the most to die, not by his hand, not again ( I'm not saying that he loved Rin only that he killed her with his hand )

"Don't you find life in the village better now that I have blessed it with my power ! Don't you feel the serenity of the place ?

"Y/n..." he said sadly, his voice low, "You are rambling. You are not in your right mind. Let me help you-" he took another step slowly towards you

"Not one more move or I'll have to clean the village of your presence as well !" your trembling hand holding your pen, holding it perpendicular to the page of the notebook, your voice echoed in the moonlit forest in a frightening manner

Kakashi couldn't believe his eyes you were going to coldly kill him, but he couldn't let you do that, however he couldn't bring himself to kill you either, but little by little he realized that it was either you or him, and who knows what you would be capable of doing after killing the man you had shared your life with for all those years

Suddenly you saw him put his hand in the pocket of his bag and you rushed to write his name on the notebook

"Kakashi Hata-"

Too late, an erasure coming down from your "A" scratched the bottom of the page as your hand jerked uncontrollably as the pen - your weapon - slipped from your hand, as the kunai in your throat made you choke, so that you spat blood on the open page of the notebook and dropped it to the ground

Kakashi had acted without thinking, out of survival, he didn't think either when he set fire to the damned book he thought was cursed

He took you in his trembling arms, tears forming in his eyes, he uttered apologies expressing all the regret that consumed him secondes after what he did, but nothing reached your ears which could only hear a white and continuous sound, like a whistle

You continued to flail frantically in his arms as you watched your Death Note burn, until exhaustion forced you to close your eyes

You wondered if it was the kunai that would take your life first or if it was the burning notebook that would have the upper hand, but wasn't it you who started it all ?

"It was the right thing to do... you'll be more useful to them than me" you coughed blood on his chest leaning over you, as if the old you wanted to speak one last time

"Don't wear yourself out, I-I'll take you back to the village, you'll be fine, I-I love you please stay with me" he was talking so fast, but yet he was slowly realizing what was happening and that maybe you wouldn't make it

You closed your eyes in exhaustion, feeling his love surround you, it almost didn't hurt anymore with his warmth against you

He panicked as he felt your body relax in his arms, he repeated your name over and over frantically like a mantra, tears flowing from his eyes like streams

And just like that it was over, after a lifetime together with each other, you were going separate ways for the first time

Kakashi would continue to curse himself for the rest of his life for not knowing how to handle the situation in a better way and for not realizing it before

However what was done was done and he would have to live with it, he just hoped that once everything was over he would be able to find you, in heaven or in hell

During his next battle he will be informed that his pupil has changed, thanks to you he developed the Mangekyō Sharingan

Shikamaru Nara :

Let's say that if you found the Death Note and got the Shinigami eyes 5 months ago, well he was suspecting it since the first month

Actually you knew each other since your first year at the Ninja school and you were dating for almost 3 years now

His intelligence helped him a lot but contrary to what we can think it's not a change of your behavior that made him have this intuition

In fact, your intelligence was neck and neck with his, so you always pretended to be less intelligent than you were, so that those who thought were manipulating you would be caught in their own trap

However in this case you got caught in your own trap, at first you only used your eyes to know the names of the people you had to kill for the sake of the Ninja World - you were convinced of that, after all who could have done it if you didn't

But it only lasted a month and soon you turned to bigger and bigger criminals, which of course attracted the attention of Konoha's intelligence services

It was Shikaku, Shikamaru's father, who realized that the killer had to be from Konoha, because the deaths happened just after the said criminal had harmed Konoha in any way

Of course to complete your mission you had to infiltrate the Intelligence Service to keep up to date with everything that was going on and so you know about their progress on the investigation

Shikamaru noticed the dark circles under your eyes, or the twitch of your eyes the moments when someone made you angry, you could really look mad in those moments but being the relaxed boy he is he didn't pay more attention to it but he smtill kept it in a corner of his mind... just in case

The moment you got caught was the moment you let your feelings show the most

Indeed, Azuma sensei had been killed by Hidan's hand with the assistance of Kakuzu his Akatsuki companion. Shikamaru, Ino and Shoji were devastated

Shikamaru's eyes were full of sadness and hatred, which made you do what would start the process that would end your reign

Just two days after this tragic event you returned to your room and retrieved your Death Note which you had cleverly hidden in a wall in your room. You had been on the said mission which had ended with the death of your boyfriend's sensei, so you had thanks to your Shinigami eyes been able to see the first and last names of Hidan and Kakazu, and it was a piece of cake for you to remember them

You began to smile unhealthily as you wrote down the little story you had prepared for their grand finale

You made sure to manipulate Naruto ( sorry bro but I had to ) so that he asked the 3 ex-team members of Team 10 to go near the Konoha village gate

As you expected, Hidan and Kakazu arrived, all your friends who attended the scene mouth agape for some and jaw clenched for Shikamaru, he tried to use the Shadow Possession Jutsu to stop them but nothing happened for the good and simple reason that the power of the Death Note was greater

The two men continued to walk with ease, in an almost robotic way until they reached the group. Once they were at a decent distance, they bent down to 90 % and in a monotonous voice apologized for what they had done. Kakazu gave a kunai to Hidan, everyone jumped backwards but Hidan turned the weapon towards Kakuzu and pierced all his hearts and he died in a pool of blood. Then Hidan ( I'm so sorry baby T.T ) took the kunai and after apologizing one last time he stuck it in the throat, under the astonished eyes of everyone

Of course you knew that because that's what you had written, for obvious reasons you couldn't risk going to blow your cover on the field

Of course this was hidden from the other members of the village and the Intelligence Service started to do the necessary research to find the origin of what had just happened

After this eventful night, Shikamaru went to the Intelligence Office reluctantly, he went to get the information about the serial deaths. Of course it didn't take him long before he was caught by a colleague of his father and was thrown into his office. His father half-heartedly made it clear to him that you were the prime suspect and Shikamaru reluctantly explained what he had seen change in you over the past 4 months

And so in the same way that L found out that Kira was living in Tokyo, it was broadcast on your television that Shikamaru had died, killed by the same cold hand that had perpetrated all these murders, and you had run to his house, losing all notion of your plan, forgetting that it could only be a crazy scheme, and you had screamed that you it wasn't possible, taht something else must have killed him and that the killer was going to pay from your hand

But as you were about to go home to think, you felt that you had lost control of your body and you were completely frozen in place

"Shadow Possession Jutsu now complete"

When you recognized him you burst into tears, not only out of relief but also because you realized that you had they must have found out

"No I-I-I did everything for the good of the village y-YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME ! NOT AFTER ALL I'VE DONE !" as you started to scream your voice had changed in a frightening way and you started to shout to - it seemed to someone that nobody else could see - to do something

Shikamaru was frightened and disconcerted by the situation, he grabbed you in his arms as if he suspected that it might be the last time he could hold you like this, he understood why you did it but he couldn't validate your way of doing it

"Ryuk you FUKCING PIECE OF SHIT I'M YOUR MASTER YOU MUST OBEY-"

"Shhhhhh Y/n please don't make it anymore difficult" Shikamaru's voice slightly broke which made you look up at him, your crazy eyes staring into his, a pang in your heart was felt when you saw the tears rolling down his cheeks

You tried to bring your hands to his cheeks but you couldn't move any more "I did it for you Shikamaru, for us, for the village" as you spoke you thought of everything, maybe you could give up the Death Note and get the Shinigami eyes back until the division of your life expectancy would be not enough to keep you alive but unfortunately it was impossible the Death Note was still in your house

You were thrown into the dungeon, of course they tried to make you talk, but nothing happened as they expected, it seemed that you had found a way to get a piece of a page of the Death Note with which you proceeded to assassinate Ibiki, his screams were almost hidden by bursts of voice as you stood over him "I am righteous ! I'm the Hero who's liberating people from fear. I'm the Savior who's going to be like a Goddess of this perfect new world !"

Then everyone agreed on the fact that you were a threat to Konoha and they chose to end your life as quickly as possible

Of course back in those days no one knew what had happened to you and Shikamaru didn't learn this until years later when he was hired as the Hokage's right hand man.

The news took him back to that very dark part of your childhood and he was once again devastated

But did he know that you managed to escape just in time ? How could he ? Konoha had been so ashamed that they preferred not to mention anywhere this important information In any case you were still there preparing your return. Oh yes, it was going to be a blast "That's right. I win !"

Naruto Uzumaki :

Naruto is a smart boy but in this case it's not him who will realize it, not by himself, maybe Shikamaru will tell him or he will realize that Tsunade is hiding something from him, if for example she would ask him to keep an eye on you for your safety, when he is already doing it, or if she would ask Yamato or Sai to follow you

You used the Death Note to get rid of the Akatsuki members who were stealing their lives ( except Itachi  because he deserves the world )

Of course nobody understood and everybody was chocked when they learned the news of the death of the powerful nunkenins who formed the Akatsuki

Your behavior had also changed a lot, dark circles had appeared under your eyes, you fidgeted a lot, but most of the time you managed to keep the act of the happy girl you used to be, wonderfully foolinganyone who crossed your path

Finally the only problem was that you didn't think that Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox spirit that Naruto had just befriended, would have the ability to see the God of Death that had been with you since you had found the Death Note. And of course he had told his host

Naruto couldn't believe his ears, how could he believe that you, his sweet and compassionate girl, would be able to kill in such an arbitrary way

"They say that love makes you blind Naruto, not stupid" Kurama had warned him and his words were still echoing in the head of the blond after 3 good days

Naruto being Naruto he didn't bother to think about it and just confronted you

Of course he didn't lose sight of your objective and refuted everything he said with a big smile painted on your lips

Of course convinced that you would never do any harm in this way he left your house reassured and serene

While you quickly went back to your room to add some names in your Death Note

But if you thought you were alone now that Naruto was gone, you didn't count on a ninja sent by Tsunade who had totally disappeared his presence to spy on you

Of course you were caught, and taken by force to the office of the Hokage, your Death Note forgotten on your desk, too bad Tsunade should have taken an Anbu rather than a vulgar jönin

Of course your screams had alerted many people and Naruto had found himself in less time than it takes to say it in the 5th Hokage's office

"Grandma Tsunade ! Where is Y/n ?!? Why did you take her ?!?"

"That's none of your business Naruto !!" she roared at him

He immediately understood that if she didn't want to tell him it was because you were in a bad situation

He rushed into the dungeons, once in front of it he stopped dead in his tracks when he heard your screams, he panicked thinking that you were being tortured, he moved forward discreetly to be able to hit from behind whoever was hurting you but when he arrived in front of your cell he only saw you and he could hear clearly what you were saying, and it was as if his world had just collapsed

"I order you to let me out of here you subhuman. I've never been so humiliated in my entire life"

"Y-Y/n ?"

"Naruto ?!? Please come and help me ! I'm the only one who can save the village !"

He didn't understand what you had to save the village from and obviously his lack of action made you snap at him

"Naruto write her name in my notebook ! Don't listen to anyone and write her name ! Don't let her keep us apart like this !"

He shook his head as he took a few steps towards you "Y/n what are you talking about-"

"I'll tell you how to do it ! Just get me out of this cell !"

"Sorry I can't-" you didn't listen to the rest of his excuse and invoked your Death Note ready to manipulate anyone - even him - to get you out of that damn cell

"Hey no ! Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu !" a clone of Naruto caught you in his arms and kicked the notebook out of the cell

Held in his arms you were fussing around like a wild animal "Don't you dare touch me I'm your Goddess !

"Dattebayo Y/n calm down ! What's wrong with you !"

You started to shake and suffocate in his arms, he was going to ruin everything you've been doing all this time just like that with a stupid clone when you had the power of a God of Death on your side

"Y/n ! Oh fuck ! Dattebayo breathe !" he prayed as he ran his hand reassuringly over your back "It's okay we'll get through this together ! All is not lost !"

And finally by dint of talking you were forced to listen to him and breathe calmly, his words gave you hope, but not like he would have wanted

 If you were thinking well the Death Note was not the only way to come to your ends. There were great ninjas out there who had left the village to try to become more powerful - cough cough Orochimaru - that you could try to find and try to be the student of

You looked up and met Naruto's eyes, he had succeeded in making peace with Kyubi, the Nine-Tailed Fox spirit so why couldn't you succeed in leaving the village and following the teachings of these great ninjas

You couldn't give up on the Death Note though because if you did you would forget the fight you had now decided to lead

"Fine" you let your body clamor in the arms of his clone as he brushed your hair with his fingers, far from thinking that now and with half of the life you had left you were going to do everything to reach this divine power in another way than with the help of Ryuk

Whether you like it or not, you will get out of this cell, you will leave this village and you will become powerful and you will purify the world of the filth that poisons it

And they would fear the wrath of a Goddess, they would fear you

I'm really getting tired of seeing people say Studio Pierrot hated Sakura

When in reality they didnt't in fact she had alot of fans in the studio. Which is dangerous for people spreading missinformation about the people working at the studio.

I'm always seeing on twitter & other social pages. "SP hated sakura." "They wanted to make her look bad. "Why didn't they adapt the Sakura Hiden novel. "They favored Hinata more." "They add filler to Hinata's fight." "They sexuallized Hinata." " Hinata has more filler episodes."

Also, with Studio Pierrot, they love Sakura in fact they wanted Naruto & Sakura together. They tried really hard to pair her with the main character.

A anime watcher even you know that she's right. Doesn't a matter of whether or not this version of Sasuke was stronger then Naruto, its a fact. Even if Sakura is doing it out of being a fangirl it’s doesn't matter(doubt it was suppose to be taken that way anyway). Kakashi stated that Sasuke was the number one rookie. How does this alter Sakura’s character?

She does it again later.

Naruto saved her and Sasuke from Gaara, Sakura couldn’t even process that Naruto was the one that beat him and rescued them, she didn't have hopes on him, it was all Sasuke. How the did this change paints her in bad light when she was like this in canon.

They sure do love to cut out certain momments of Sakura too

"They favored Hinata, In Hinata vs pain its basically all filler she got one-paneled!"

C'mon....like other characters in the show haven't gotten one paneled in the manga before.

The Studio add more fight scenes & changed certain things in the manga to benfit Sakura. Yet they act like Hinata vs Pain was the only one.

They did the same with Naruto vs. Sasuke, Kakashi vs. Hidan, Pain vs. Naruto, Obito vs. Kakashi and, of course , Sakura vs. Sasori

they made her appear fast to take on loads of puppets. Then her speed reaction aganist Omoi appeared.

The whole point of her power is that she's a live tank and a powerful support. Speed has never really been her forte. She is still kage level despite that drawback

We really see how her speed is in war arc to.

The studio also went out of their way to make something different that painted Sakura of a hero.

anime she is blaming herself for not telling her daughter enough about Sasuke.Iin the manga canon she blames Sarada for wanting to know more about her father. Boruto Anime makes Sakura more sympathetic as she at admits she did something wrong.

Shin outright beats Sakura with his knockoff Kamui

Sakura didn’t ignore Sasuke to go and hug Sarada, after the Shin confrontation she stood there while Sasuke gave Sarada a explantion of why they love each other

No fight against Shin, just a single panel of a frustrated Sakura hitting into nothing.

Adds scenes of Sakura being a supportive the Chunin exams.

Sakura only gets caught into Shin’s attack bc she was protecting Sarada.

Why does she have to hit Naruto so much in filler!? 

Again, they’re just following the characteristic’s that is created for her. It’s canon that Sakura hits Naruto when he can be somewhat annoying. Naruto is 40% filler, were going see a bunch of scenes of Sakura hitting Naruto.

Yall are up in arms about Hinata centric episode training for a anime filler jutsu Protective 8 trigrams 64 Palms naked on the water because she didn't want to get her clothes wet while training ...smh.

Hinata appeared in 12 anime filler arcs and 5 anime filler movies she had was a minor character in most( most from Naruto then in shippuden). Sakura had appeared 15 anime arcs and 9 anime filler movies, she made major roles in them too.

We can all look this up put people choose not to.

Don't act like she is the only female character that had fanservice in the show.

I’m talking about a specific number of fans, only the misogynists who believe that the fanbase hate Sakura because she’s flat and favor Hinata because’s she has big breasts, wanting people to believe that they don’t care about boobs, feeling safe because Sakura’s boobs are “average size”, “Everyone who likes Sakura is obviously not a pervert and a good guy who doesn’t care about tits”.

These hypocrites are obsessed with tits and ass, they wouldn’t be trying hard to prove that Studio Pierrot messed with Sakura’s chest as if they really didn’t care about boobs

"They focus way to much on Hinata!"

It was one episode of Hinata about the novel Konoha Hiden... The plot split with other characters find a gift to attend the wedding (her wedding mind you) and she was worried. Didn't know having her appear in a episode about that was a bad thing.

I will never understand how a side character needs to be compaired to someone from the main cast.

They didn't adapt Kakashi, Gaara or atakuski hiden. alot novels including Sasuke Star pupil, Shikamaru Mouring clouds & half- adapted Naruto Parent & Child Day

everyone nitpicks when comes to the anime. People love to pick & choose. Showing scenes Form a studio that likes to make most of her fights way better and likes to ships her with Naruto they really don't seem to hate her.

Note: this wasn't to provoke it was to show the hypocisy in how people say SP hated her & sexuallized/favored Hinata. Suppose to show how much the Studio loved & cared for her.

They have still do care for her juding by some of the addtional scenes in Sasuke Retsuden & Boruto.

Hello !! I am a 18F looking for an 18+ rp partner. Dark themes are absolutely not a problem but I will not do scat/vomit type themes. The rp could be of any type, however when it comes to nsfw, I would prefer some build up before we get to the actual smut.

I prefer literate/semi-literate rp and usually do oc x canon, however I am open to canon x canon/oc x oc as well. I can do fxf, fxm or mxm, and usually double up. I would like it if my partner writes at least a paragraph (6-7 sentences minimum). My replies can fluctuate as my schedule is always changing here and there so I can go from replying frequently to replying weekly and rarely monthly. Ok I'm just gonna say it, whoever says Boruto sucks probably hasn't given it half a chance, for any combination of reasons. Be it just to be contrarian, or them expecting it to be the same as Shippuden despite it taking place in peacetime, hating slice of life, or not trying to understand Boruto's frustrations with his dad at all.

He's a kid whose dad was present in his life for a while, and then all of a sudden was a lot less present because his dad's now the Hokage. Of course he's gonna be resentful. Of course he's going to have disdain for the position of Hokage, and want to be his own person. Of course he's going to be desperate enough for his dad's attention and approval to cheat during the Chunin exams. Of course he's going to not understand as much at first the value of hard work versus shortcuts. And of course, he's going to be immature about a lit of shit in general *because he's a kid*. It's ok if that's too annoying for you, kids can be fucking annoying, but don't tell me it isn't realistic of Boruto to be such a little shit. Naruto was a little shit too, for his own reasons.

All that being said, Boruto shows a lot of growth during the course of the series. He doesn't stay as much of a little shit. He learns the value of hard work. He resents his dad a lot less, he becomes a little less impulsive and stupid. Sure, he's still impulsive as hell. But that doesn't change overnight, and he's still around 12. You expect him to be as mature as Naruto was at the end of Shippuden when he's only 12? Come on now.

Putting aside the complaints with Boruto himself for now, let's talk about the characterization, because dear god they are doing that well. From Sumire being a victim of her former Root member father's hatred of the Leaf, to the kids of the previous generation being such a good meld of both their parents (Inojin being a combination of Ino and Sai not just in abilities, but personality as well), to Kawaki being distrustful of everyone because of how he'd been abandoned, neglected, and mistreated by everyone he'd known up until that point. There's numerous other examples as well. Ao's reason for his face-turn. So many shinobi being resentful of a world in which they're afraid that their role is no longer needed. Etc etc.

And then, there's the world-building. Starting off with the more negative (as in depressing, not badly written) we see that just because it's peacetime now, that doesn't mean everything is great for everyone outside of the 5 great nations. Or even some inside them, for that matter. A lot of smaller nations are still in poverty, still suffering. Naruto for as benevolent of a Hokage he is, he isn't capable of helping everyone. He doesn't have the time, the land of fire doesn't have the resources to help everyone, and because of bureaucracy, it isn't always possible to give help even when it's available.

On the more positive side of world-building, we see pretty-rapidly advancing technology. From the Kamanarimon company heir straight up using a laptop in combat to survey the battlefield and be the team analyst, to the new generation playing actual video games, to there being machines that can use ninjutsu for the user without seals, and there being actual trains to travel not just around Konoha, but between nations. Hell where I'm at in the story rn, I'm seeing actual flashbang grenades, chakra lightsabers, etc etc.

We also still have a looming threat to everyone in the form of the Otsutsuki clan. We're getting a logical continuation of the Kaguya storyline and her legacy, we're finding out more about where she came from and how it not just impacts, but endangers the shinobi world as a whole. Not just directly from the Otsutsuki invaders as a whole, but from organizations linked to them somehow, as is the case with the Kara.

Point being that Boruto is way better than people give it credit for, if you don't go in expecting the exact same thing as Shippuden, and keep an open mind for all the changes. It's not the same as Naruto was, it was never going to be the same. And if it was, it wouldn't be believable. I'm not saying the series is perfect by any means, it isn't. But neither was Naruto. I'm not saying you have to like it, but at least give it a chance yourself before writing it off, and don't just listen to what other people say about it.

•I actually have 2 different Naruto dr’s. One is animated(I haven’t shifted there) while the one I talk about and shift too is realistic🖤

•so I scripted out the fourth great ninja war, as well as the Uchiha clan massacre! I also changed the fact that the Akatsuki are keepers of the peace while they guard and protect all tailed beasts instead of capturing and using them for their own gain of power.

•now, when it comes to your script, it’s truly up to you on what you want in or out of your dr. What one person wants, another may not!

•being a Shinobi, like myself, there will be violence, wether it’s fighting, missions gone wrong, losing people you’re close too or love, etc. it’s part of that life. That’s a ‘normal’ and ‘everyday occurrence’ to them. Of course you can script all that out and keep to easy missions like regular security gigs or even being a Sensei and teach the next generation of students. Your decision entirely<3

•you can also script in that you’re a medical ninja if you want that extra security when something happens to you or your friends.

•as for me, I know medical ninjutsu, not to the extremes like Sakura, but to the point nothing serious will happen if I get injured. (If something doesn’t make sense I apologize! I replied to this post at 3am when I came home from work😭😭)

•when it comes to methods, I don’t use a specific one. When I first got into shifting, I experimented A LOT! I combined things here and there until I found something that works<3

•what I do is I’ll have my television on(naruto Shippuden playing) while listening to subliminals on YouTube, or white noise on my phone.

•I’ll count to 100 or higher as I say affirmations between each number, while describing and imaging my desired reality(what room or bed I wake up in, who’s there, if I’m alone or not, what time of day, what I’m wearing, etc)

•I personally don’t use awake methods as I’ve never had success with them. I’m a very sleepy and tired person so the asleep methods work well for me<3

•another thing I noticed is that I have better chances at shifting when I’m not thinking or stressing about it 24/7

•to me, shifting is so expansive and you’re constantly learning even when you don’t realize it.

For a second he empathized with her, it was a difficult position to be, and he certainly didn't envy her.  Everybody knew that she liked Naruto, but she was also very shy so, he didn't know if she had ever acted upon it. Maybe? Maybe not? However, the case, one thing could be said without doubt, she was always courageous. And courage was what she would need as the heir of a clan, and in one as big and traditional as theirs, she would face little choice in her love life. She would probably be engaged to someone from within the main branch, with their current clan laws.

Sigh.

‘Shikamaru is right, this is problematic’. He really hoped that she would like it. He still remembered the high-pitched screech Ino had done the moment he said he needed her services for a floral arrangement. He knew this were uncharted waters, it was considered an impertinence, scandalous and inappropriate. So things needed to be done subtly. They couldn’t be seen together, and outside of practice session they didn’t spend much time together since he had been promoted to jounin. But it was a special day, and he wanted to do it for her. 

The cold winds of February were not receding, and the low temperatures of the year were still present. He could see the cold clouds forming around him every time he breathed out. The cold wind felt even colder in the outskirts of the village, around the training grounds; where he was waiting for her. 

“Ready to go home?” 

“I just need to collect my kunais and I’ll be ready”

“Common, it’s freezing, Shino can’t even talk anymore, all his critters have started shutting down, and its starting to affect him”

“Why don’t you go with him, plus I know my house is in an opposite direction, so Shino-kun could get worse really quickly. Take care of him” She winked towards Kiba.

“Will you be all right?”

“Yeah, don’t worry. Good night guys”

“Go-oo-ood nnn-niiiight Hi-na-tah” - Shino stuttered and wheezed his way through the sentence.

She smiled towards them before turning back to the log she had been using for target practice. She picked the first and the second blade, but the moment her finger touch the Hyuga kunai she felt her the electricity run through her chakra system. The signal of another chakra system, alerting her of her surroundings. She took the weapon firmly in her hand, she recognized the signature of course. 

He felt her come closer. He knew the moment she had recognized it was him, she was taking her time, but he could not blame her, the last few years had been tumultuous and difficult. They spent more time together training but it couldn’t be considered very significant on a personal level.

“Neji-onisama?”

“Konbawa Hinata-sama”

“Has something happened?” Of course, she would have a reaction like this. They usually didn’t meet here or at this time of the day.

“I… I…” She came closer now, examining the brightness of his eyes and surprised to see a color change around his cheeks. He closed his mouth shut and inhaled deeply . Slowly pulling his arm from behind he pulled the bouquet. 

The sunflower had been combined with white flowers and a little bit of greenery to make it appear more abundant and luscious. It was nice that Hinata happened to like sunflowers as much as she did since it also was the official clan flower. He hoped that no one would bat an eye if they saw them in her room. But within the confines of the clan, it was never something to be sure about.

Her eyes got bigger and bigger with surprise, of course she loved them, he didn’t need to ask, a big open smiled now on her face, radiant happiness shinning through her glossy eyes. 

“What’s this?”

“Flowers?” now he heard her laugh as a response.

“I know they are flowers, but why?” his face turned three shades darker then, he felt the burning nervousness at the pit of his stomach. She looked questioning to him again.

“It’-s … Valentine’s Day”

He felt her arms wrapping around his neck, bringing him down. He felt the sound of a deep ragged breath close to his ear.

“I’ve never been given flowers for Valentine’s, thank you”

due to the fact that sakura's crush on sasuke has always been immature (this is fine because she was 12 years old) and much closer to infatuation than actually caring about who he is as a person (see: her attempt to convince him to stay in konoha at the end of pt 1) (again, not a critique of her person because she was 12) (still a critique of kishimoto though because he didnt do this for interest he did it because that is all women are to him) it its extremely glaring that she does not become disillusioned with him by the end of shippuden. not to the point of hating him obviously, but it doesn't really track that she hasn't realized that sasuke isn't the person she's WANTED him to be for so many years. for gods sake she tried to KILL HIM! after seeing everything he did, and not understanding why he's doing it (for a slew of reasons including there is literally just information about the uchihas' history that he has and she doesn't, plus she (along with basically everybody else, this isn't a critique) is just not equipped to understand the hell sasuke is going through), it would be fit for her to lose interest.

the fact that she starts the series with a stupid crush on sasuke isn't an issue (her being largely reduced to that IS an issue but thats not the point of this post), the issue is that it's established as being stupid and shallow but she's still holding onto it by the end of the series, and not even in a "i feel like i understand you for real this time and love you for the complicated person you are instead of for the idealized image i had of you in my head when we were kids" way, it's in essentially the SAME WAY she had a crush on him to begin with! the scene where he leaves konoha after the war is SPECIFICALLY INTENDED to mirror the scene where he left at the end of pt 1, actively HIGHLIGHTING that she still views him in the same light she viewed him when they were younger. "can i come with you" FULLY misses the point of what he's trying to do, it missed the point when they were kids and it misses the point now. instead of HER pitch changing, what shifts is sasuke's RESPONSE to it, which makes EQUALLY little sense for him considering the nicest thing he's said to her up to this point in the series is (paraphrased) "i'm sorry i was such an asshole to you all this time, [you didn't deserve that]".

over the course of shippuden, sakura SHOULD'VE been realizing that sasuke is a much more complicated person than she ever realized. she still wants to save him and is still (perhaps naively) chasing the old team 7 dynamic, but it's slowly becoming clear that she does not know him at all. this should have culminated in her choice to try and kill him herself, but in canon after her failed attempt her feelings on sasuke don't get much focus again. this also would have added a much more interesting element to the story if kakashi and naruto are still holding onto hope that sasuke can be saved, but the 3rd member of the team is deadset on killing him, but this plot point (from sakura's perspective) was basically glossed over as soon as it ended. by the end of the series, it would honestly be better if her "you should be sorry" attitude held! she SHOULD be angry! look what he put her through! look how he treated her! her feelings should be complicated! maybe she still loves him and wants them to be able to understand each other like real friends should, but she should also recognize that it will take time for them to be able to really reconcile, and for gods sake the two of them are not romantically compatible at all. it is a disservice . sakura im so sorry you deserve a husband who loves you and an author that doesn't hate you

Hello, I’m new here, and I got a strange fluff request. I hope I'm not breaking any rules you have. Can I ask for a One-shot for Kochou Shinobo x S/O who’s based off Utakata from Naruto Shippuden. I hope this isn’t too specific.

Here’s the one-shot scenario. Kochou Shinobo has an GN S/O, who uses Water Breathing Technique. However, her S/O created a new form and it's an unorthodox way that suit their needs: Instead, her S/O creates bubbles that can come in any shape or form and be used offensively against Demons and defensively for the user, and instead of a sword, uses a bamboo bubble pipe.

On day, while Shinobo is visiting her S/O, practicing new ways to use their form, they wanted test out if it was possible to travel inside their bubbles

Shinobo is fascinated by the concept, and agrees to test it out with them. Her S/O blows a giant bubble that engulfs her, and then one for them. Both their bubbles soon float into the sky. 

At first, the Shinobo is having difficulty controlling her bubble, as she keeps slipping and falling, and bouncing around the walls of the bubble. She and her S/O giggles a little, having fun. But suddenly, the wind blows her bubble into their bubble, and their two bubbles merge into one bubble. Shinobo at first apologizes, but her S/O says it’s okay, preferring this way. They sit down and cuddle together in their bubble and watch the sunset, and Shinobo is amazed by the view.

Soon, their bubble lands on the ground and pops safely, and Shinobo thanks her S/O for their experiences

It was an early morning, early enough that the sky was only beginning to lighten as the peeking sun had still not been seen, mere minutes from waking the world around it. The insect hashira noticed the morning dew was still dripping from the trees, so despite the clear skies above, the distinct sound of rain was all around her. 

This path through the forest led to your home, protected by newly grown wisteria trees. They were in full bloom, leaving the ground scattered in purple petals. They sat at the base of the forest, like a fence protecting the extensive clearing where your home sat. You had built the entire thing with your two hands between missions. 

Only a few had the fortune of growing these trees, but one unique thing about you was that you belonged to the Wisteria family. 

As always, the closer she got to your home, the more bubbles would glide past her through the wind, accompanied by the sound of bamboo wind chimes that hung from all corners of the house. 

As she recalled, you both met long ago during the final selection and bonded well over the fact that you were the only two to remain. The similarities didn’t end there, with you both sharing your experiences of not using a typical nichirin blade. 

From then on you two became close friends, most missions done together and if not, always promising to meet afterwards to share what had happened. 

Shinobu outshone you and became a strong hashira, but she always credited her rise to her position to you who encouraged it and allowed her to use the wisteria from your family trees. But besides that, you were never interested in rising up the ranks. You did things at your own pace, preferably in a support role over a defensive one. 

And when she had earned the courage to ask you to be her lover, she had learned to appreciate this fact. The more in love she fell, the harder it became to let you go on missions that might harm you. 

But it was for the greater good, and- 

“-ocho? Miss Kocho!” Her hazy purple eyes finally seemed to connect with your own, though her expression hadn’t changed. 

“Oh my, was I gazing off again? My apologies.” She raised her hand to touch her lips, as if trying to express her surprise. Even so, you knew she was tugging your chain. 

“It’s fine, of course, I’m just happy you stopped by.” The two of you were sitting on the porch, your legs dangling off while she had hers crossed. Your tea was half empty, but she had already finished hers. The sky was a purple hue, as the day continued to tick forwards. 

Taking her cup into your hands, you quickly finished yours and sat them aside, before pulling out a bubble pipe the other had never seen before. This one was made out of bamboo as opposed to straw, and was stained a dark brown with a waxy finish. It was a finely crafted piece, but before Shinobu could inquire more of it you rose to your feet and walked out from the house, into the grassy field. 

“Ah, you did mention in the letter you wanted to test something out, correct?” She  walked out to join you after seeing you push the end of the flute into a soaked sponge that was filled with the fluid you used to make bubbles, a purple hue to it from the wisteria embedded in its mixture. 

Originally your bubbles were harmless to demons, but helped trap them. With Shinobu's help, however, you were able to make a solution that could subdue and occasionally kill them as well. 

When she stood in front of you, waiting, she was more than surprised to realize she was growing taller- except, no. It seemed you had trapped her in one of the bubbles without her realizing and it was lifting her into the sky. 

“Dear, this is incredible!” She praised you, not just for this new feat, but for the fact that you had her guard so low that you’d managed to catch her. 

Your smile was always wider than hers, and she loved it. Clearly you had been having trouble with the technique, as shown by the joy on your face. Not long after she had been picked up, you were in one rising up to catch her. As you both got higher, Shinobu found herself struggling to stand up straight, falling to her ass. 

Unamused at first, your laughter picked up her mood until she was giggling too, failing to stand up multiple times before giving up entirely, crossing her legs and looking down at you. 

“Don’t worry, they won’t pop.” You mumbled more of yourself than her, watching as you were lifted as high as the clouds might have been. Thanks to the clear skies, you never lost each other. It was a little scary at first, but with time you were both playing around, seeing if there was some way you might be able to steer them. 

As Shinobu attempted to use it like a hamster ball, however, she smacked right into yours, attaching the two with just a small barrier between them. 

“Ah, I completely ruined it…” Her frown returned as she tried to push away, gasping when you took the sharp end of your pipe and moved it towards her, “Now, now! I don’t think this was bad enough to result in death-!” 

As the sheen between you two popped, you quickly pulled her into yours so she wouldn’t fall, now stuck in the same bubble as you. 

“I just wanted to scare you.” You stuck out your tongue, looking at her who had fallen onto the ground again, while you stood easily. Of course, it was easy for you to keep from falling, but Shinobu would wipe that smirk off your face when she kicked the back of your knee, making you fall right back beside her. 

When met with your grumbling, she only hushed you by moving one finger to your lips. 

“Shh, look.” The finger on your lips moved to point forwards, and when you broke from her mischievous gaze, you saw the golden sun begging to rise above the horizon, decorating the landscape with a beautiful backlit glow. 

You were lost for words looking at the fantastic scenery. You could see the butterfly mansion from here, among other landmarks hidden throughout rural Japan. Shinobu’s arms wrapped around you after pulling your arms around her, resting her head on your shoulder. 

“Wow.” Your tone had gotten much lower, moving to rest your head on hers. This wasn’t what you had expected, but the timing was perfect. 

“Yes, wow.” She agreed, humming lightly so as not to cover the sounds of the birds chirping as the sun woke all of nature from its slumber. 

Enjoying the silence and the warm company, you two watched until the sun became too bright to stare at, and as the bubble lost its ability to keep in the air, landing further from home near the edge of the forest where the wisteria was, in which one of the branches popped it. 

Although a rough landing, you were laughing and smiling from having to catch yourselves in the worst ways, dropping from the tree and thanking it for saving your fall. 

“I am happy to know your studies are improving your technique. Feel free to write to me anytime you have more of these ‘experiments,’ okay?” 

Unfortunately, she was already leaving, but you waved off and hummed in agreement. 

“Thank you, Miss Kocho!”

I don't care if they were OVAs or movies or seasons of ideas or whatever but instead of B*ruto we could have gotten:

- A highschool AU spin-off like in that ending where Naruto is a delinquent and Sasuke just excels at everything and it pisses Naruto off and Sasuke just doesn't want the pressure anymore and Naruto wants decent grades to pass so they teach each other beautiful aspects of their life and everyone else has screen time and they all become this one big group of friends accidentally and they are young and have fun AND THEY DON'T FIGHT WARS

- A samurai spin-off like in that other ending where they just run into each other always and they piss each other off and there's a lot of angst because naruto has a chaotic way of fighting with his sword (that involves punches more than the sword because he likes getting close and personal) and Sasuke is calculated and elegant (because of course he is) - basically a Samurai Champloo AU with Naruto as Mugen and Sasuke as Jin (but ANGRIER), and Sakura as Fuu but her entire character does not revolve around unrequited love and she's given some sort of external motivation of finding something important in her life (like a purpose or smth)

- Scenes from their childhood like I would sell my soul for Kishimoto to draw both Naruto and Sasuke meeting their younger selves (like in the time-slippity-flippity thingy in B*ruto) but instead of fighting aliens they just have these long in-depth discussions about who struggled the most with groceries and cleaning and loneliness and they would just watch themselves failing at stuff because of the whole 'no family' aspect like I would read/watch that shit for the rest of my life every day

- Naruto going on adventures with Sasuke (I don't wanna call them missions because I just want them to catch a WELL DESERVED BREAK) so they just sometimes travel together and take in the ninja world and corrupt systems and they talk about what they promised themselves they would do to change it (I'm looking at you Naruto when you made Nagato trust you with your speech about changing the world and then doing nothing about it) (and you Sasuke when you wanted to start a revolution because you used to care about people's suffering in the world) and so they would meet somewhere in between and change things for the better because, you know, they are literally the most powerful people on the planet at the end of Shippuden so they actually have the power to change things if they put their mind to it (I'm rambling I know) and maybe in this version of the 'what would happen if things were different' maybe Naruto wouldn't have accepted that fake hand and would borrow Sasuke's in battle for his clones or whatever (or use one hand signs AS THEY EXIST AND WORK JUST AS WELL) and realise that being Hokage maybe isn't what he truly wanted or just change the role of the Hokage altogether or just tell everyone about the truth of the Uchiha massacre, I'm just sayingggg (I hope I wake up tomorrow to find out I imagined B*ruto because I refuse to accept it is real)

1. Naruto

After watching Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, and episodes here and there of Baruto, I just wanted to express my feelings towards this anime.

Some things to note before I start :

Opinions vary for everyone. When it comes to Anime, I feel like many are already drawing out their weapons, the moment someone says “Well I think ( insert any anime) is…” So please! Let’s be respectful! Let’s not be rude! Sharing your personal opinion and thoughts is perfectly fine, but let’s not insult others for their opinions, if they differ from ours!

I finished watching all of the Naruto series! So! SPOILERS! WILL! BE! AHEAD!

What was Naruto to me before?

So, I’ve been watching anime since 2006. And even if Naruto never caught my interest at the time, I still knew about the Ninja Anime. Naruto in the Anime community, was and still is, very much considered an Anime classic. And little me at the time, was like “Eh. Sure”. I respected it, but never really bothered to look too much into it. One of the main reasons I had no interest in Naruto, was because of like…three reasons.

I was DEEP into Shojo Anime/ Manga. If it didn’t look cute and girly, I wouldn’t watch it. ( Ugh, I know! I’m sorry, and I have changed my ways! I’ve grown up! (T＿T) )

“ Why watch this long anime…when I can watch over 5 others? ” To younger me, it was about watching the most anime. Quantity is what mattered! Not stay stuck with just one, for what felt like decades.

The more I was told “ OMG! You should watch Naruto! ” the more I was set on NOT watching it. ( Idk what’s wrong with me（・□・；） )

So what changed my mind?

This might sound cliche, to the point where you will roll your eyes all the way to Asia, but the answer to that is…

And that was the beginning of…a long…LONG journey.

So what happened? How did I go from “ I’m just gonna watch some episodes TODAY. See what the hype is all about. ” to “It’s New Years, and I’m about to finish Naruto…idk how to feel about this. I don’t want it to end…”

I’ll tell you what happened!

The world of the Ninjas

From the cool hand signs, to the many types of clans, I found myself amazed ( and a little slow to process it all ) by all of the depth that this world has. I really found the hand signs fun, and can see why so many Naruto Fans know them by heart. ( It’s so cool!!!! ) I really like the design of Konoha, and while 99% of the population were a bunch of ASSHOLES to little Naruto, Konoha is still cool.

Once we were introduced to the other villages, I’m gonna be honest, I really like The Land Of Lightning. The village hidden in the clouds, is SO cool to me! I love it!

But we also know why we stay for an Anime. And that’s it’s characters. Let’s get to the good stuff, okay? (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ

- Kakashi Hatake -

Okay, okay. Let’s just get it out of the way here, guys.

Kakashi is hot.

Yeah. Yeah, you heard me. You’re probably rolling your eyes, or saying “of course” either in your head, or out loud. But it’s true, and now that I’ve said it, let’s move on. I’ll fangirl about him another day.

He’s proof that you could have the shittiest life, been in the darkest place within yourself, and still grow to be a good person. Because that’s what he did. He was so broken, and empty. Yet he managed to find meaning to life. Showing and teaching others on how to improve themselves. He became the Sensei of some of the strongest ninjas of the Leaf Village.

Okay but seriously. The man lost his dad to suicide, and his mom is gone…idk what happened to his mom. Does anyone know? He lost his friends. Obito died in front of his eyes, causing some major trauma. Karin died by his own hands ( even though he had no fault on that ) but yet, guess what? MORE TRAUMA! He then lost his Sensei, and himself. His past was just so sad…and then he had to fight Obito after thinking he was deeeaad!?😭

He was not only a Sensei to Team 7. He was a FATHER figure, and no one can change my mind. While he could have checked up on Naruto before ( knowing that Naruto is Minato’s son, and that everyone in the village hated Naruto with a PASSION ) , he soon took it upon himself to care for Naruto. Bringing him vegetables, feeding him when he was hurt, teaching him about himself, and what it is to be a Ninja. Teaching him life lessons, and how to overcome them. He also believed in Naruto’s dream of becoming Hokage. Believed in HIM. With Sakura, while I didn’t see that much, cause Tsunade later on took Sakura under her wing, I know he cared for her too. He was there to comfort her, whenever Naruto and Sasuke had another one of their fights. He was thankful that at-least she wasn’t the one causing trouble. When it comes to Sasuke, I’ve seen some comments here and there, that Sasuke was Kakashi’s favorite student, but I honestly don’t really agree. Sasuke is clearly a student ahead of everyone else. He can’t be taught like the others! It’s just the truth. And who else would teach Sasuke about his Sharingan, if his whole clan was wiped out??? At least Kakashi had ONE! Surely he could teach him something! He was the only one!

- Rock Lee -

Surprise? Not surprise? At first I didn’t think people liked Lee, but my friend told me that he’s actually a quite popular character. That made me very happy!💚 (*＾ワ＾*)

Apparently, and correct me if I’m wrong, but apparently Lee was designed to symbolize human strength. And there is so much in that. Lee is a Ninja that cannot do Ninjutsu, nor Genjutsu. The only thing he can do, is Taijutsu. And boy, does he hold on to that. I am a SUCKER, for characters like him. The whole “I may not have what everyone else has, but I can still prove myself”. It makes him feel more human, and for me (personally) more relatable. Knowing that you lack, compared to everyone else, and holding on to what you’re somewhat good at. Going above and beyond to continue to keep that special to you, and working nonstop to be the best at it, cause that’s the only thing you think you have a grasp on- ugh! I’ll stop before I start crying. I just relate to that, and find him a very inspirational character. I love him, he’s like my son.

I also like his rivalries were mainly healthy. He never really hated on his rivals. In fact, he was friends with all of them! With Naruto? They comrades. With Neji? Sure, their relationship was a bit bumpy at first, but they eventually came to respect each other, as they grew up. Shira? They became BFFLS! Had me in tears! 😭 And don’t even get me started with Gaara! Even after all…THAT ( amazing fight by the way ) the two ended up being the best of friends! Like- would you be friends with the person who not only broke your arm and leg, but had you go through a risky operation, having you question your existence, and tried to kill you when you were asleep? Naaaaah! Nah! Lee is an Angel!

Oh! I also watched the Lee Spin Off series! Pure. Perfection. Highly recommend. My favorite parts, are when we get to see Lee just create random scenarios, and drags everyone around him into them. 😂

- Obito Uchiha -

Guys.

This boy…

My god.

There was no rest for him, ever since he was born.

I like to have this thought that everyone has their Uchiha. Many choose Sasuke, Itachi, Madara, Shisui, etc. For me, it’s him. Obito Uchiha. I find it hilarious, and again- SPOILER ALERT that when we were introduced to TOBI, I loved him so much. When he said he was “Madara” I was in disbelief, but very much enjoying the supposed twist. But then- surprise! It’s Obito! I was having the time of my life. I was an Obito fan, without even knowing it. He’s my favorite Uchiha, even though…yeah…yeah he did a bit of big oopsies.

I enjoyed seeing who he was, before life decided to be a bitch to him. Helping the elderly, his rivalry with Kakashi, his wish of also being Hokage, and being a bit of a softie (which I found endearing ). He lost all of himself, and like many comments I’ve seen “He was the Naruto that gave up”. And I see that. And it saddens me every time. To see that man, if Naruto would have given up…this could have been him. When Obito was ready to die, I was actually understanding of it. Unlike prior deaths in Naruto, with Obito’s death, I…accepted it. I understood why he preferred to die. He did too much harm, that he couldn’t possibly see himself being anywhere. He was going to die, while bringing the others back to life. But…that didn’t end up happening, and he was given some more time. Just seeing the contrast of who he was before, and who he currently was, was very bitter. Him pushing his old self away, and just being blinded by so much hatred and sadness.

Man, I just really his character. I like what he represents, and how without knowing, he in some way, influenced Kakashi, and Naruto. I also really like his design with the goggles, and all. So cute! (*＾ワ＾*)

The Fights That Had Me SCREAMING

They’re Ninjas! Of course they’re gonna fight! Good action, good execution, good choreography- Naruto Fights are one of a kind, and I always found myself at the edge of my seat with them.

Rock Lee Versus Gaara of the Sand.

THE LEE VERSUS GAARA FIGHT. Okay okay I won’t comment much about this fight-just go watch it. PLEASE! No amount of words can describe this fight! Not only do we see Lee UNLEASHED, but the animation, the music, the moves, EVERYTHING. It’s so iconic, and at the time, I bet it had the world in awe. My boi Leeeee!!!😭

Obito Uchiha Versus Kakashi Hatake

This frikin fight hurt me guys. While it’s so badass, and nicely animated, the addition of the past them and present them fighting HIT. HARD. Again, that moment when Obito pushes his old self back, is so painful to watch. It has my heart shattering into pieces every time I see it. There’s this part, that I’m obsessed with.

THIS! Idk why! I just find myself repeating that part, over and over. Is it just me!?

Madara Uchiha Versus The Shinobi Alliance

Yeah, Yeah this isn’t surprising…BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WHY! YOU MUST! All that hype that Madara kept getting, was about to be proved with this moment! And MY GOD!!!! The tension, the raw screaming of the Ninjas running towards him, knowing of who he was. And Madara just nonchalantly killing everyone he laid his eyes on! Did you see his eyes!? The immediate read! I- The METEOR-No- THE TWO METEORS. You cannot top this. This introduction to Madara Uchiha, will be forever engraved in my brain. Loved it. Just seeing the Meteor slowly falling, and seeing the scale of it. Everyone running-OH! And how Flying Grandpa (The Tsuchikage) and Gaara stopped it- had me jumping on the couch. Amazing, simply amazing. GO WATCH IT. Cause my rambling on it, does it no justice!!! 😭😭😭

Okay listen, one thing we can all agree on, when it comes to Anime, is that Anime Intros, and Outros, are a BIG part of it all. Especially the Intros. If Intro isn’t good, would you still watch this anime? What makes a good Intro song? Is it the animation? The lyrics? The artist? All of these come in to play, to create a masterpiece. An aid for an anime.

Naruto, has a lot of intros. BUT MY GOD- does it have triple the outros.

So before even watching Naruto, I came upon this song on Spotify. And there was just something about this song, that hit. I am a big fan of Japanese Rock ( J-Rock ) , and Asian Kung Fu Generation brought it all out with this song.

I feel like it really catches the aesthetic, and the overall vibe of the Original Naruto Series. Hype, full of energy, and hypes you up for the new episode. I really love it, and even if I didn’t watch Naruto back in the day, hearing this, causes me major nostalgia. A mystery, I know.

Wind and Waves Satellite - Snowkel

It’s the start that does it for me. Seeing everyone get ready to leave on their next adventure, fills me with some type of emotion. I don’t know how to describe it. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s nostalgia, but it fills me with this kind of sad/good feeling in my chest? Something like that. It’s great!

Perhaps one of the top favorite songs out there, in the Shippuden Intro List. And I can see why. Or well- HEAR why.

Diver - Nico Touches The Walls

At first, I didn’t really feel much for this song. It was alright…UNTIL IT WASN’T.

I found myself sudden listening to it, back and forth, and…I love it now? Yeah, it just happened, I don’t know how.

What I love about this one, isn’t only the song. But the animation of it. What we see, is Naruto falling, and simply sinking down deep and deeper into the water. This obviously referring to his current depressive state. He’s lost, and is beginning to give up. Then, one by one, the hands of all of the friends he’s made along the way, slowly but surely push him up. Naruto is finally out of the water, and when he looks down, he sees that Sasuke is also sinking, similar to how he was before. Seeing that he has no one, Naruto prepares himself to dive down for him. Remembering his goal again. Save Sasuke from the dark path he’s chosen, and bring him back to the village.

It’s beautiful really.

Lovers - 7!! Seven Oops

( Ninth Shippuden Intro )

I didn’t know how to feel for this song. But after a while, I started bopping my head to it- and then poof! Loved it. It’s good!

I like the part where there’s that explosion behind Killer Bee, and that glimpse of Sasuke’s smile. That unsettling smile, letting us know that he’s waaaay gone. It gave me goosebumps the first moment I saw it.

Silhouette - Kana-Boon

I’ll admit, I knew about Kana-Boon before listening to Silhouette. I love this band, with my life.

It’s such a good song! Great! A masterpiece! That’s right! And it left its mark on Shippuden, as it SHOULD have!

Shit, man, on this SS-fan thing, I hate Shippuden Sasuke with the passion of a thousand suns, but I don't want the guy to suffer (and I know, he's been through hell and Curse of Hatred and everything else, and I sympathize with him intellectually, but it's a "his behavior reminds me of someone who hurt me in the past so I can't get over it" sort of thing).

All that being said, I wouldn’t want him to be in an abusive relationship just so Sakura can "pay him back" for what he did or whatever. I hope they talked about it and I hope he apologized to everyone on Team 7, but I don't want him groveling daily to keep her love. That shit's not healthy. I like their mutual respect of each other as adults.

Honestly, as much as I love Sakura, she's got a lot of toxic behaviors herself that she needs to unlearn, mostly the tsundere ones because that's not healthy (that said, she never was that way with Sasuke, and again, it's unhealthy behavior. We shouldn't want to see her treat Sasuke like that, we should want her to grow too and not act that way to anyone). Side bar, I hate how prevalent the "violent scary wife" trope is in the world that they even did it to Temari and Hinata. Hinata. Fucking hell.

But really, I'm going to die mad because Sasuke pulled some Gomez Addams level shit going "My wife isn't a weak woman, she'll probably have everything handled by the time we get there," ontop of how he fought alongside Sakura in Gaiden, and so Boruto Sasuke has begrudgingly earned my respect, heck, even my adoration, and I feel like that should be illegal with how much I hate Shippuden Sasuke.

All this to say, I liked the ship in Part 1 and I like the ship post Shippuden, especially with my own headcanons to fill in the blanks.

And while I still hate Shippuden Sasuke, he's allowed to grow and change and be happy as an adult after processing all that unmitigated trauma he went through as a child. Idk why that's so hard for some people to grasp? Just my thoughts on SS that I wanted to throw in on the subject.

I'm glad you mentioned this, because it's not mentioned enough. Both Sasuke and Sakura had aspects of their characters that they needed to work on. Thankfully, much like Sasuke, the ones you mentioned for Sakura seemed to have faded from her adult self.

I've never been in a situation where a character that I used to despise ended up earning my adoration. I either stay hating them, or I become indifferent to them, but my opinion has never changed so drastically that I actually end up liking them, must be strange, lol.

Verses - Basic Overview

This is just an overview summary of the very bare-bones information on Ronin's verses; more detailed information will be put into individual write-ups later and things are liable to change as the blog and Ronin progress over time. Some of these verses need more specific sub-verses for certain media (ex. Marvel, Star Trek, etc.) that will be expanded on as needed down the line.

v. main | do not speak of darker days. (pre-Naruto start)

takes place in the canon timeline of the manga / anime, prior to the events of the first chapter of the manga or episode of the show. This covers any events earlier in the timeline such as the prior Great Ninja Wars, the Warring Clans Era, and further back to the formation of the Bijuu and Summon Creature (as per my personal lore for Summons- X). generally speaking Ronin is either actively contracted to one of the prior Cat Contract Holders (X), or it may be a period between active signees. this period also extends back to when he was not the Boss Summon of the Contract, prior to when his father went missing and the title was passed down to him.

v. main | and onwards we roam. (canon timeline through Shippuden)

the time period we see take place during the events of the manga and anime, beginning from chapter one to chapter 700. This also includes any relevant movies, OVAs, and novels / games that reasonably take place in this era. Ronin is the Boss of the Cat Contract by this point in the timeline and has been for decades, and most of his time is spent wandering the Elemental Nations and the continents beyond in search of his missing father. the status of the Cat Contract is considered Inactive (no current Summoners are signed to it) by default unless someone signs on during a thread; happy to plot this out, and can make a bespoke verse to cover this.

v. main | for those that walk after. (Boruto and after)

anything that takes place in Boruto and in attached media to the series; I am not especially well versed in the Boruto segment of the timeline as the series has not held my interest, but am happy to research and do appropriate footwork to make plots work! unless otherwise stated or agreed upon prior, Ronin is still uncontracted.

v. au | wicked creature. (generic magical familiar verse.)

the assumption of this base verse is that Ronin is some flavor of familiar or magical assistant creature; the exact type and lore can shift to better suit the other muses' canon or system of preference. if nothing concrete is given the assumption is that Ronin is a spirit given corporeal form by the person that has summoned / created him to act as a familiar - similar but not quit the same as the system in the Bartimaeus series if you are familiar with those books! his purpose here is simply to help whoever has called him forth, though he's very likely to be rather snarky about being awoken from his 'nap'.

v. au | catching claws. (generic pokemon verse.)

generally speaking, Ronin is a bizarre sub-species of the Meowth / Persian line that never fully lost it's ability to walk upright. this subspecies is far darker than the rest in it's coloration, and tend to keep company in cemeteries and other places of quiet and shadow. the oldest among the species can rival Ninetales in longevity and spectral power - an effect of this having caused the subspecies to change type to Normal/Ghost as their connection to the afterlife became stronger over subsequent generations and time. Ronin himself is a Persian of considerable age, hailing from lands yet unnamed in the wilds beyond Orre. While he is certainly no legendary Pokemon, the few people that live and have explored this lands do have stories and legends to tell of an extraordinarily powerful cat-like Pokemon in the region.... this lore is of course malleable and Ronin can reasonably be made to be most cat-like Pokemon comfortably and moved to more established locations as needed for bespoke verses in threads.

v. au | beast of yore. (generic mythos nekomata verse.)

Ronin is some form of mythological creature in this verse; he is assumed to be a form of yokai called a nekomata to match his main verse more closely unless a different lore or creature fits better and is specified for a sub-verse. nekomata have a number of powers depending on the source you look at; Ronin generally retains his shadow-based abilities, ability to transform, and skills with illusion.

v. au | the void between stars. (generic space verse.)

travelling the stars on various ships that he has either wandered onto willfully or has been smuggled on-to as an assumed 'illicit pet' by crew or another passenger. a strange alien race, it's clear that he is far more than a mere cat but the similarities to the Earth animal are so apparent it has to be assumed to be done with a purpose, rather than a quirk of evolution. regardless of the reasons for why the similarities exist, the differences are marked; Ronin is capable of bipedal locomotion and object manipulation, and appears to possess some level of telepathy and other mental skills - making him skilled in deception and illusion.

I'm obsessed with time travel AUs and I couldn't stop thinking of a time travel AU where Team 7 as a whole goes back in time to when the team first started and they decide to mostly let things play out as they did originally while also carefully undermining Zetsu, the Akatsuki and the rest

So like, Sasuke still leaves with Orochimaru but this time he does it so that he can get to Kabuto before he gets too strong instead of needing to get stronger to kill Itachi

Naruto still leaves with Jiraiya but since he already knows everything he was taught he uses the opportunity of being out of the village to start investigating the Akatsuki early on and maybe save some fellow Jinchuuriki before it's too late

Sakura still training under Tsunade but since she already knows everything she gets out of training with her much earlier and she and Kakashi, as the brains of the team, start working in secret on multiple things. Training together, maybe trying to expose Danzō to take out that threat early on, making safety plans for when Pain will attack, things like those probably

BUT ALSO. I imagined Team 7 sharing the dog summons for secrecy purpose

Kakashi came up with the idea to safely exchange informations between each other in secret so now the kids have one dog each, they don't use it in battle of course and they still have their regular summons, but also these three cute puppies who take their job very seriously!

Kakashi initially wanted to use the dogs of his pack since he's familiar with them and they're already fully trained and highly capable, but his students were so excited at the idea of getting a summon puppy of their own as if it was a team bonding moment that Kakashi didn't have the heart to deny them that joy and he even helped them train their new summons

There’s so many small things that they could change, and sometimes they do!

Orochimaru still attacks them in the forest but this time Kakashi ensures that Sakura is prepared with better training on traps and protective measures so that those three sound shinobi find it near impossible to get to her and end up facing off against Sakura and Lee and losing.

Kakashi knows Chiyo is going to try and attack him is she see’s him? The next time they’re in Suna he sends Naruto in first and they’re told he’s coming in and that someone (chiyo) should probably bot attack him because they might mistake him for his father (Kakashi could be aware that some people in the sand don’t like his dad and it’s a legit precaution to take)

Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura happen to be in suna a little earlier because Tsunade hasn’t found a mission for them and Kakashi convinced her to ley him take his team to Suna for training and diplomatic means (always gatta check in on the allies). Maybe they happen to be there when Sasori snd Diedra attack, and are able to help fend them off.

Sakura and Chiyo kill Sasori in suna instead of in a cave. Diedra makes a grand escape but not without losing his arm still.

Also, I wanna say Itachi Vs Kakashi would be diffrent because Kakashi knows to expect Itachi’s inescapable genjutsu and avoids it the same way he does in shippuden, but this time he also actively brought gai as back up so it’s a proper short itachi and kisame vs Kakashi and Gai fight.

Sasuke and Naruto are able to avoid sasuke being almost killed by Haku, and because Naruto knows he can tap into kurema’s powers at times he does so for the fight while sasuke still upgrades his sharingan when naruto almost takes a hit (because haku was still super challenging to fight)

Kakashi still allows Haku to take zabuza but because he’s more skilled and aware he doesn’t flatten himself for that first fight and doesn’t get caught because he’s distracted protecting the kids. They can protect themselves this time and he knows it.

I have been messing with this one for AGES and I’m so glad to finally post it! First art of 2023 is finally finished! Dedicated, of course, to our beloved Vy-chan~ @writer-and-artist27 and her wonderful OC Hoshino Tomoko-chan~ “U can do it!” (The Naruto Shippuden ED) was living in my head rent-free the entire time these past few months and I KNEW I needed to do a piece around it. Of course Tomoko-chan became my muse yet again, best girl that she is~

I had a lot of fun with this one, and it was a good experience to mess around with things like overlays and other layer settings. #NoConsistency I’ve changed my style yet again lol. Her hair is a throwback to her father, who if u don’t know is based around YGO Judai Yuki! I usually draw it so smooth, but I wanted to try the spiky hairstyle for once. It’s very freeing to flow with, and satisfying to make ehe~

since you are basically at the end of shippuden, i am dying to know your thoughts on the kakashi vs obito fight 🤠🫶🏼

omg my thoughts are gonna be kinda jumbled here because i normally have to let things settle a bit before i can have some coherent kind of thoughts but here’s kinda what is standing out to me in my thoughts

i think first and foremost the way that their fight reflects back to their first spar together as comrades is quite touching because well to me it’s just trying to say that obito really hasn’t changed from who he was. he still makes the same moves and same mistakes he did when he was a kid.. he’s still that boy that loves rin and dreams of being hokage. he just needed his rivalry with kakashi again to start the chain of events for coming back to that. he is so prolifically obito even when he got lost in becoming madara……..

even though its naruto that’s able to finally bring obito back to being and claiming obito i feel it really all starts with kakashi punching obito through with chidori during their fight in the same manner as he did rin. because rins death is the moment that really set the two of their respective paths of how they look at life. kakashi of course keeping obito and rins words close to his heart and obito finding nothing to keep in his heart anymore. also technically not a part of the kakashi vs obito fight but i find it sweet that naruto is the one that ended up changing/saving the both of them. after rins death kakashi became self detrimental and cold until team seven and he saw the dreams of obito in naruto, and obito was able to find hope for change in the shinobi world because saw his hopes and dreams inside of naruto and believed in his will. kakashi and obito are so connected through every part of their lives to which every thing kakashi does is because of rin and obito and everything obito does is because of rin and kakashi…. and they both found salvation in naruto.

anyways yea <3 the fight was well done i think and rin is actually everything
