Another inspirational card draw and flat lay by my youngest daughter! This kid LOVES mermaids! She adores the images on this deck but the messages can be a bit out of her age range, so I try to put it in terms she can relate to. . . This one is great because it speaks so vividly to finding alignment with the Law of Attraction. But instead of talking about invisible energy, we make it visible by relating it to the physical energy and movement of water. . . Well, I’m kicking myself for not recording my dreams this morning.

I forgot all about them until I was on the deck, cleaning up with Vervain. I moved a (red?) cloth and a lizard (presumably one of the two I saw in that area yesterday, which I took as some sort of sign at the time and then later she told me she had seen a gecko near the raven candle/magick stuff from Samhain) ran out. I suddenly remembered that I caught a lizard in one of my dreams! I told this to Vervain as I caught this lizard. And now I will have to look up lizard symbolism.

Also, when Vervain was reading from the Women’s Encyclopedia, the Sidhe were mentioned and I got a fuzzy memory of something about that being in one of my dreams. It had something to do with… a portal being opened, there was a feeling of fear and a change in color and scenery/atmosphere.. wish I could recall everything surrounding it.

But this final mermaid card, the colors and atmosphere remind me of the Sidhe part of my dream.

And obviously I must get back in the habit of recording them and continuing my dream work.

Oh yeah! I became lucid and flew up high over a lake at some point.

- Which reminds me: seeing 3 pool service trucks on the way to the Vocal Chaos Magick workshop with Happy. Struck us both as odd.
