Last day to see it is 12/31/23, as it will be closed the next 2 years to be put in a new museum space and mounted in "launch position" with the booster tank and rockets.

New Digimon have been revealed!!

I'll cover their names and origins under the cut!

Hanimon

Hanimon is based on japanese clay dolls, Haniwa. While Haniwa covers all terracotta clay dolls used in rituals & burials, they are most commonly associated with the three hole face and up/down arm pose. Integrating these types of Haniwa in pop culture started becoming popular in the 90s. Among other modern depictions, Gyroids from Animal Crossing, which are also called Haniwa in japanese, are probably most well-known.

Kokeshimon

Kokeshimon is based on japanese wooden Kokeshi dolls! It especially resembles the modern style versions, which commonly feature a black bob, some form of red hair piece, usually a bow, and a pretty kimono, often adorned with flower patterns.

Karakurumon

Karakurumon is based on japanese Karakuri dolls. "karakuru" means 'pulling on strings', and the noun "karakuri" has come to mean 'mechanism' or 'trick'. These dolls had automated mechanisms performing some sort of movement. Karakurumon especially resembles the tea serving robot.

Kaguyamon

Kaguyamon is based on princess Kaguya from japanese mythology.

Originating from the Tale of the Bamboo cutter, Kaguya-hime was found inside of bamboo, and came from the moon. By the end of the story she returns to the palace on the moon.

Kaguya has ben referenced in modern media many times. Due to her connection with the moon, the lunar orbitor SELENE was also known as Kaguya. The Pokémon Celesteela, based on Kaguya too, also takes on a space theme.

I think it's cute that both Kinosaki sisters ended up with a puppet, fairy tale theme. Cendrillmon being based on Cinderella covering a western and 'modern' fairy tale, while the tale of princess Kaguya is often referred to as the oldest written fairy tale.

First image: Orbitor hails from mideval times, and was frozen in the nether glacial wastes. Pac and co accidentally freed him and, after some time doing some pranks, Orbitor resigned to being a mail delivery person. He is the youngest of a family of sisters, all of whom are ghosts now! The sisters can combine into a larger ghost (the one with the eyeball necklace), and often forget themselves if they don't (Headcannon that the longer a ghost is in the nether realm, the less of theirself they remember. Its why there are so many generic looking ghosts).

Second Image: Whirlius the Wizard!! Another medival fella who was famed for writing a big huge book of spells. He created constructs of ghosts and stone(Rook being one of them), and lived in a subterranean tower surrounded by a labyrinth. Rook had stolen one of his spells to help Orbitor be less anxious, however the spell was incomplete and had cursed him with the insatiable need to pull pranks. Whirlius, a ghost in the netherrealm, lives an isolated life. He does not believe he has magic anymore having lost his book of spells. A visit from Pac and his Friends motivated him to try and find it again. The crew in turn need Whirlius help, as Betrayus had found a set of artifacts that have brought him back to the living.

Third Image: The artifact, the eye of PacMagus. It a highly potent artifact that grants the user access to all magic types. Betrayus uses it to create a new body for himself, and kind of goes a little crazy. The more magic he uses, the more his form morphs into a manticore (Wanted it to kind of look like the dragons do). He loses control of himself to the artifact, and Whirlius creates a magic-imbued power berries to help the trio take him down.

I want Ratchet pining for them both and CONVINCED they're so enraptured with eachother there's no room for anyone else. They're two bruning stars and him a cold orbitor. They do not want him and he is content with that. He's happy to stay buy thier side and support them, asking for nothing more.

But he's wrong.

Orion and Megatronus do love each other and that love is just as fierce as he believes, but they also love him just as fiercly. Something he remains ignorant of all the way up to the start of the war and beyond it.

Yay it's warframe ramble, the game i said i will never touch but still jumped in head first into the franchise anyways.

Im 5.6 hours in and i don't even know which part is the tutorial because i still feel like everything is a tutorial. I have no idea what half of the things im seeing are and its probably gonna get worse. Im just doing things randomly and trying my hardest not to look up anything build related because that's definitely gonna be a rabbit hole (and im guessing excalibur definitely isnt meta)

The starter bow is only good at killing the junction boss without moving a step. The projectile speed is just miserable to use in any other scenario. Guns are kinda trash at the start if you can just infinite bullet jump on their face and melee everyone. So is k drive. Feels good to have at least a little movement ability after destiny 2, its basically infinite eager edge and youd know how happy i am with that.

Crafting takes ages but its not a big deal for now. It seems like to craft a warframe you have to earn warframe parts by some kind of destination quest? which im not interested in because im just as not interested in said warframes.

I want to slice the orbitor door open and drag myself out before the quest lets me do so.

Campaign feels okay but any other mission thingy on the planets feels kinda random. Im playing solo so everything feels like assassins creed kinda campaign but im a robot with infinite eager edge instead. Also speaking of which why does parazon look exactly like a hidden blade? hmm.

Im thinking about the possibility to use excalibur and excalibur only up until i get excalibur umbra. Judging by the progress for now its probably gonna take forever.
