Tradewinds Launch - A Fae Tales Novel - Jan 31st
Tumblr media
FULL NOVEL RELEASE on JANUARY 31st - EXCLUSIVE to REAM & PATREON ONLY
In the dangerous, ethereal realm of the fae, alliances between the Seelie and Unseelie fae merchants are few. Some say impossible. Matan, a Seelie fae and peacock pheasant shifter with a talent for trade, must keep his Seelie alignment a secret as he embarks on a perilous journey to gather wealth and save a loved one from a terrible curse. He joins an Unseelie merchant caravan of fae who would surely eat him if they learned of his alignment. The enigmatic Udir, a paranoid Unseelie master of poisons and bearded vulture shifter, discovers Matan’s secret and threatens to blackmail him in exchange for vile favours. But Udir’s bravado and bluster hides a painful past and Matan isn’t as innocent or as naïve as he seems. Amid bustling markets, savvy clients, and travelling to new lands Matan has never seen before, Tradewinds is a story of love, found family, trust, betrayal, and the healing that can grow in the shadows of the vibrant, perilous southern fae lands.

Finally more pirate drawings. I'm sure everyone is very excited haha. But yes this time we have Bumlets, Skittery and Swifty! Please take note that every one of them (some more noticeable than others) have the other two's colours in their outfits!
A little lore for anyone who hasn't read my fic: Bumlets is a topman, meaning he is mostly climbing around the rigging, setting the sails, also looking out for any islands as long as they don't have a lookout. Skittery is just a normal seaman, no special job, just doing whatever (also he is like in Blood Drips basically invulnerable but doesn't know yet). Then Swifty is the Boatswain/Bosun, meaning he is largely responsible for maintenance on the ship and at least here also for keeping a tab on what needs to be bought. And he likes to sew and craft, hence this drawing.
(If you want rambles on them just ask or dm I am always ready)

Team Dad Verse AU
OT3 Buggy/Mihawk/Shanks
A One Piece Au in which Roger & Garp raise their kids & crews together. The impact is far reaching
Part One Part Two Part Three
An Alternate One Piece History
40 ish years ago: Gol D Roger & Monkey D Garp meet to form a tentative truce for God Island incident hoping to keep more people on both sides of the marine divide alive. Through the danger and struggle they come to trust each other implicitly, a life long bond is created
In the aftermath of the incident Roger finds two mysterious toddlers both set adrift in the ocean. One is a sunny red headed, cheerful little boy with the looks of a Viking prince. The other is strange, difficult, overly busy, and perpetually unhappy. The only thing that seems to settle the odd blue haired little boy, is his red head friend.
Roger raises both both children aboard his ship as honorary Rogers Pirates. They're called Shanks & Buggy respectively. They're not his blood but they will inherit his pirate legacy. They're inseparable.
35 years ago: Garp & Roger marry in secret
30 years ago: increasing pressure from the world government causes a spiral of strain between increasing strife between Marines and pirates. Often men who'd been working working side by side in balance for years. Alliances, friendships, and romantic engagements crumble
27 years ago: Roger Pirates are disbanded. Shanks & Buggy have a falling out, each starting their own crews separately.
It's rumored they still occasionally see each other on Roger's lingering business. No one knows what that might be.
Dracule Mihawk & Red Hair Shanks teen friendship grows into a deeply knowing understanding
They trust and understand each other. A rarity among pirates.
Some say they're lovers
Some say neither man has a heart
Others say if they don't have them, it's because Buggy the Clown ate them.
None of them are concerned about the rumors
26 years ago: increasing tensions between pirates and Marines put titanic pressure on Roger & Garp. Neither of whom are willing to sacrifice their respective ways of life
25 years ago: The two men go their seperate ways permanently
Roger, who may or may not be terminally I'll, is arrested shortly after
The rumor mill can't keep up with the implications
24 Years ago: Gol d Roger is put to death, Garp mourns privately
In the months that follow, mutually distraught, Buggy & Shanks reconcile, sometimes running their crews together for periods of weeks or months at a time.
The two crews are known to be close associates of each other. It's an open secret that Red Hair Shanks & Buggy the Clown are lovers.
Mihawk is still around sometimes. No one knows what that means. No one's brave enough to ask.
23 years ago: Gol D Ace is born to Garp & Roger. A romantic story is woven to protect the child and his identity. A story about a woman who loves a man so much she held their baby inside her body until Roger had been in prison for much to long to be the baby's father. The baby is given his fictional mother's family name, Portgas.
Ace takes after Garp the most, fun loving, hearty, brave, loyal, stubborn, incredibly strong, and always absolutely starving.
If Garp seems like he has regrets no one is foolish enough to point that out to him
18 years ago: The eldest son of the GolD MonkeyD clan, a disillusioned Marine turned freedom fighter Monkey D Dragon, and a disenfranchised pirate turned mercenary spy code name Crocodile, cross paths in an unlikely turn of political events
Sparks Fly between Crocodile, & Dragon, two men with different but momentarily intersecting goals find common ground
A connection is made, a baby is conceived
17 years ago: Crocodile gives birth to a baby boy in absolute secret. The baby, an heir to unknowable power amongst both the pirates and the Marines, is in danger as long as he remains with either of his fathers.
The infant is a liability neither man is willing or able to take on, neither of his parents can reasonably or safely take care of the baby in their lines of work
The baby was given only a name, Monkey D Luffy and sent via wet nurse courier to the home base of his adopted family, Buggy & Shanks. Both men, foundlings themselves, with connections high up in both the Marines and the world's most powerful pirate crews. The baby can be safe there. And so he's raised, hidden in plain sight in Buggy and Shank's combined crew for three years.
Ace spends summers with Shanks and Buggy as well, both to reduce suspicions about his parentage and so the 2 little boys could be raised as family
14 years ago: Luffy, now much to spirited and strong to hide on any one ship, starts drawing dangerous questions from powerful people. A painful decision is made. Shanks & Buggy's crews will separate again, only working together in secret.
Shanks would take the toddler and set him up at a home base, a nowhere little backwater town called Windmill village, where he could keep an eye on the growing boy from an apparent distance.
Buggy would be out in the world spreading the wrong kind of rumors.
Ace, a bright and precocious child, spends summers bouncing between Buggy and Shanks, learning everything he can about the kind of freedom he dreams of taking for himself one day.
10 years ago: Luffy eats the gum gum fruit unintentionally causing an avalanche of cataclysmic change.
Shanks inability to produce this particular devil fruit puts him in the cross hairs of powerful government agents. Knowing the government and pirates alike would soon be making attempts on the the life of whoever ate the gum gum fruit, Shanks sends for Garp to take his grandson. He's now the only person with the power to hide Luffy from both the Marines and the secretive government officials the devil fruit was intended for.
To further protect Luffy, Shanks disappears with his crew amid rumors they started themselves that he'd double crossed his employers and eaten the devil fruit himself.
Shanks gives Luffy his hat before he goes and tells the boy to come find him when he's ready to become a great pirate in his own right
Luffy's dream is born
Garp collects Luffy, he raises and trains both Luffy and Ace as adopted brothers
Though Luffy doesn't remember being born into piracy, it's in his blood and bones, it's in his dreams
No matter what Garp does, he's unable to dissuade either his secret son or his grandson from the danger of following their family's grand pirate legacy
Rumors travel fast on the high seas, rumors get back to Buggy that Shanks has taken up with the Marine sanctioned freshly minted Warlord of the sea, the Privateer Dracule Mihawk... again.
Buggy is heartbroken and furious, he sinks deep into the weeds of retaliation and revenge, cutting off contact with the only extended family he's ever known
5 years ago: in a frustrated fury over ongoing power struggles with Garp, Ace leaves home. Whitebeard finds him, offers to make the boy his own son and legacy. Ace accepts, finally he has a family where he belongs
Hopefully

snow - an ill omen, King Arthur (2004), G, 692 words, the unseasonal snow north of the Wall does not bode well, Gawain thinks.
birds | library - the birds know, Tolkien, G, 707 words, the birds are behaving strangely, the twins notice, in their last weeks in Rivendell, flocking and calling, fluttering from tree to tree, landing sometimes on railings and rooftops, and watching, always watching.
dark - get the real story out, Tudors OT3-'verse, G, 901 words, an actors' panel interview in the OT3-'verse.
college | lonely - all part of the service, original (but Tolkien-adjacent), G, 983 words, Bran has had a very long and trying day; thankfully Rowan is there to make sure he switches off.
glow | lake - the last light of the sun, King Arthur (2004), G, 786 words, there’s a tarn not far from the Wall, where the people of the fortress sometimes go to swim when the weather is too hot to do anything else, and one long summer evening Gawain and Galahad steal away…tonight they don’t want to be disturbed, or to share the water with others.
ache | ship - the last ship to leave Middle-Earth, Tolkien, G, 852 words, the twins, waiting for the last ship to cast off, are in two minds as to whether they're doing the right thing.

lost - in the meantime, you've got me (chapter 2), Tolkien, G, 3038 words, Théoden, Ioreth and Merry talk about many things, including loss, hope, and being far from home - and come up with a way to distract themselves while they wait for events to be decided, and to give two of their loved ones a chance at happiness into the bargain.
petal - golden flowers everywhere, Tolkien, G, 3501 words, Glorfindel's grave, covered in flowers, no longer exists, and its occupant is reborn and returned to Middle-Earth. The earth, trying to catch up, rather overcompensates.
faith, bar - stairs of wood, stairs of stone, Tolkien, G, 1968 words, Hilda talks Bard out of his despair one evening in Lake-town, and a month or so later, in Dale, talks him into accepting what he has achieved, and the light he has found in the darkness.
fur - something to look after, Tolkien, G, 2146 words, on their way back from the Grey Havens, having seen Elrond and Galadriel and the others onto their ship, the twins and Celeborn stumble upon a rather snappy bundle of fluff…
lightning | office - a storm on the horizon, Tolkien, G, 1179 words, Elrond observes a storm on the horizon, just beyond the boundaries of Imladris, while he waits for news of Frodo and the Ring.
sketch | plane - business class, Tolkien, G, 2381 words, Bard, on his first business trip abroad since his wife died, gets an upgrade to business class, where he finds himself sitting next to someone very intriguing indeed.
sense - corridor of stone, Tolkien, G, 453 words, Legolas is the only one who does not feel fear at the thought of entering the Paths of the Dead.
mischief - laughter in the mountains, Tolkien, G, 694 words, rumours begin to reach the Woodland Realm of something in the peaks of the Misty Mountains, mysterious disembodied laughter - or is it a lament?
double - Wayward Nephews, Tolkien, G, 3359 words, Ioreth has well and truly adopted the twins.
Thank you as always to the @writersmonth mods, and to everyone who prompted me, commented, bookmarked and kudos'd - I have had a whale of a time and I couldn't have done it without you! <33333

We Were Just Satellites
Cot3 Soulmate AU Sun/Moon/Star Marks
In a world where most are lucky to have one soulmark, a symbol representing the soul of the one that they would always be tied to (for better or for worse) having two is a rarity.
Some say it means you have a choice of a soulmate, but that’s not strictly true. Maybe two souls compliment yours, but if you’re lucky — really lucky — they may compliment each other, too.

🔥 + louis/lestat/armand!!
🔥 ASKS
asksjdhd you have to be more specific i feel like i talk about them so much my tag for them is insane
but have a teeny tiny drabble i wrote for them a while ago:
"Your pocket is moving," Armand dully arched an eyebrow in his direction.
"Perhaps I'm happy to see you, mon frère, ever think of that?"
"That would be a first."
"Why must you-"
Lestat's hand instinctively came to flatten down over his soaked trench coat, tiny hummingbird heartbeat strumming against his palm.
"Surely not a rat, is it?" This is how one captures Louis's attention, it seems.
"Mon Dieu, you would like that, wouldn't you!"
Old insecurities, a young maker's failings, readily dredged to the surface centuries later at a moment's notice.
"No," Lestat forced his tone to soften, easing his hand around the fragile creature: matted dark fur, harsh angles, nails clawing in desperation at his marble skin. I know, ma petite. He pulled the kitten free, holding it out like a child's prize won at a county fair before abruptly depositing it onto Louis's lap.
"Another orphan," Armand ran a finger over her forehead, smiling when she hissed. "Look at you, little one... Eyes, talons, not much else, and still you boast such a tenacious spirit."
Lestat shrugged. He wanted to say: It reminded me of you once, both of you. His throat constricted around the words, altering them altogether. "Yes, isn't she the most darling little creature?"
that's when i first got the idea that lestat would absolutely show up to trinity gate looking like snow white with all the animals btw 🥹

I wanna hear specifically about how Kit and Leia interact because that thought hadn't crossed my mind?!
So in this AU, the war ends in 19 BBY with Palpatine getting reduced to a fine mist, as he should have been. Thorn declares himself the new marshal commander of the Guard and exiles Fox from Coruscant with the suggestion that Fox finally go on a bangcation with the Organas. Fox does exactly that but then the whole Anidala mess goes down and they go straight back to Alderaan to meet Leia.
Once the Organas are settled in with the new baby, Fox comms Thorn to say he's on his way back to Coruscant to see what's going on. Thorn comms back to let Fox know that he's still exiled but Thorn is sending Kit to join them on Alderaan. Fox is not pleased with this. Thorn is finally able to get Fox away from his work datapad for more than five minutes, so Thorn does not give a shit.
Kit takes one look at Leia and wants to know why she's so small. The senators weren't exactly doing the whole 'bring your kid to work day' thing, so she's the first baby he's seen. He's immediately worried about how she's just completely defenceless and doesn't even have any hair. And she's going to grow up at half the rate of a clone??? Hm.
Leia has three parents but that is no concern of Kit's, who decides that it's his job, also, to protect her. Fox manages to calm down the overprotective instincts a little by the time Leia is old enough to be running around and getting into trouble. Kit therefore decides that while Leia obviously needs a bodyguard, she also needs someone to get into trouble with her and encourage her every bad idea. There's no reason that he can't be both!
Kit is fearless. Leia is fearless. Fox has chronic anxiety. This third thing started when he was a cadet but is still directly related to the first two.
Kit is constantly sneaking her candy, no matter how many times their parents tell him not to. She likes plants like him, but is actually good at keeping them alive, so he asks her to infodump about her flowers all the time. He loves nature and often goes cross-country hiking, but with a little kid in tow, he switches to cross-country horseback. Leia develops a love for riding and gets better at it than he does.
Leia is obsessed with various' kids shows, because like, she's a kid. Kit has a spreadsheet to keep track of the characters and what they do and what plots are happening. He listens very seriously to all of her theories and gushing. He has scheduled time set apart for every episode and teaches her how to microwave popcorn without burning.
Since Kit enables all of Leia's bad ideas, he's her confidant and she trusts him more than anything. When Leia starts getting independent and running off into the woods on her own, repeatedly slipping the attention of the royal guards, her parents beg her to take Kit with her. Leia is not impressed with the idea that she needs someone looking out for her. Kit promises to never tell their parents where they go, and to never listen to them and bring her back early to whatever social event she has no patience for. She finds this delightfully acceptable.
They develop a habit of going off into the woods and playing board games on his datapad. He lets her win while she's learning, but once she has a handle on the rules, she has to earn her wins. She likes that he doesn't go easy on her because she's a girl/princess/little kid. He always carries her piggyback because she likes being taller and he's always touched by how much she trusts him. He pretends to fuss whenever she drops leaves into his hair but they both know that he doesn't actually care. There's an old tree that Breha's mother planted that they like to hang out under when they don't mind the idea of being found by the guards.
I have a headcanon that there's a tradition on Alderaan that there's a heritage breed of working dog that's still used as part of the palace protection detail. Kit, being a dog lover, is allowed to have several dogs of his own. He's also allowed to hang around the kennels and help socialise the new litters whenever they come about. He brings Leia sometimes and she charms everyone into letting her keep one of her own. Nobody asks the parents about this beforehand, they simply can't say no to Leia and Kit deploying the 🥺 look in unison and those rascals know it. They use 🥺 to get away with a lot of things.
By the time Leia is ten, she and Kit are BFFs, and Kit would literally let her get away with murder. (Thanks to Mereel Skirata's cure for the clones' accelerated aging, Kit is eighteen at this point in time, and looks to be in his early twenties instead of thirty-six.)
In fact, Kit is with her when the kidnapping happens. His presence is planned for by Nokru's crew, who stun him and leave him for dead. Leia is unaware it was a stun bolt and is screaming hysterically over her favourite brother getting murdered in front of her.
Fortunately, Kit is not dead. Instead, he is overflowing with a bone-deep murderous rage, and looking for someone to take it out on. He and his dad Fox are exactly the same in that way.
The Organas still call on Obi-Wan to help rescue Leia, because he's a Jedi. It's not just Bail that goes to Tatooine, however, it's also Fox and Kit... and Cody and the Nulls. Fox begged Mereel to help rescue his daughter, and they had ties to Cody, who needed no more convincing than hearing that they planned to recruit Obi-Wan.
Most of the Kenobi show progresses as usual, with the exception that Fox and Kit get to turn Nokru into the same sort of fine mist that was Palpatine's fate, ten years ago.
And with the exception that when they find Leia, she screams with delight in a way that shatters every piece of glass in a ten-block radius, and flings herself into Kit's arms. He kneels down to catch her properly, and because his knees give out at the sight of his sister safe again. They're both crying for a solid twenty minutes after that, and Fox isn't any better, honestly.
The Nulls go back to Mandalore, Cody and Obi-Wan go back to Tatooine, and Fox and Kit and Leia go back to Alderaan. The entire flight back, Leia will only fall asleep in Kit's arms, and Kit can't sleep soundly without knowing where she is, either. Fox thinks they're the most adorable thing ever and takes so many pictures.
Nine years later, Kit finds a second joy in life: tormenting Han Solo.

Slider is twenty-nine the first time he loses the love of his life and thirty-six the second time that happens. Nick was kissing him sweetly that morning, sharing a cup of coffee, lamenting about its sweetness (forty years later and Ron is still drinking the same coffee) and demanding a rematch for the volleyball-thingy (just-wake-uo Nick wasn't the most awake person) the very next day, and by the afternoon, Ron was crying and screaming against Ice's shoulder, bagging his best friend to tell him it was all a bad dream.
With Carole, it is different. Cancer takes her way a little by little, just like Nick's death did. They aren't together anymore, but he's around because she needs help and Bradley needs someone to focus on him. He takes care of Carole and Ice of Bradley, Maverick too. They share good and bad days, long stretches of chemo treatments, and sweet nightmares when Ron dreams of a third body hugging him during the colder hours of that sad winter. Carole dreams of the same thing too. She dies on a sunny Saturday in a forgettable week of February, kissing him goodbye and reminding him that she loves him, as did Nick. She closes her eyes and Tom's hands are big and warm on his skin when he hugs him so strongly he almost stops breathing.
By the time he's in his sixties, he's sure nothing that big is ever going to touch him again. Then Tom's cancer is back and he's saying goodbye to people like he knows he won't be able to beat this. Ron's heart breaks all over again. It's new and bittersweet in all different ways than it was with Carole because Ice doesn't band, doesn't let the cancer beat him until the very end, and no amount of pleading stops him. They go to movies, eat ice cream in places Ron never knew existed, and Tom lets Ron take him up in the air, flying over Lake Superior, because the Apostole Islands are so beautiful this time of year, aren't they?
One of the last times they see each other, Tom says, signs, I'm glad Mav has Penny back in his life. She is good for him, better than I could ever be. And Ron can't muster the strength to do more than cuddle with him on a couch that's too small for two grown men. He would like to shake his friend and tell him that nobody could have been better than him, not in this or another life.
Ron knows is going to happen soon when Tom texts him you were the best RIO and best friend I could ever ask for. I love you. But he doesn't know when. Two days later, he's standing in front of a granite tombstone, trying to not fall apart in front of the entire Navy and a kid, a grown man, who looks like a carbon copy of Carole and Nick.
They are all dead, and he's walking around with ghosts that used to warm his bed, and his day, and photos of a past that used to have a future.

Guess what everyone, I'm back! Time to talk about post-canon Cora and her kids again. Whether that be her biological kids or the ones she's babysitting.
Last time I talked about the context (aka where she'd be raising those kids), how the Straw Hats would turn her pregnancy into a game show, and Zoro and Sanji's different reactions to the possibility of being a father. This time, I'll be touching on how the Sanji/Cora/Zoro family would actually work because there's a whole lot of factors feeding into that, and Cora being a babysitter. Prepare for more fluff!
Tumblr media
First of all, I mentioned at the end of the last part that there's no way that Cora would have just one kid. There's two reasons for that: First of all, if I remember correctly, multiples have a higher chance of their kids being multiples themselves, and one of her boyfriends just so happens to be a multiple. Second of all, I just see Cora as someone who would have a lot of kids. She loves kids and she would love being a mother. If none of her pregnancies go horribly wrong (which they don't - she's in good hands), she's definitely having a lot of kids. Maybe four? I dunno. Depends on how many of her pregnancies turn out to be multiples. But I could see her having three or maybe four pregnancies.
Anyways, did I call Zoro and Sanji her boyfriends just now? I should've called them her husbands, because they are getting married. I honestly don't know who would propose first but I could totally see both Zoro and Sanji proposing at the same time and then bickering about it. She has two hands for two rings, so why not use them? Cora obviously keeps her family name, but Sanji becomes Roronoa Sanji. He claims it's for practical reasons, but he's actually so soft about getting to show off his relationship like that, and he's the worst offender when it comes to slipping "my (shitty) husband" or "my (lovely) wife" into almost every conversation.
So, finally, we get to talk about the kids and the family structure. The whole deal of the Akaito Clan is that you only get to carry the Akaito name if you're a tailor, so only Cora's kids that actually become tailors carry the Akaito name. So, if Cora and Sanji have a daughter named Sora and she becomes a tailor, she'll be called Akaito Sora. If she doesn't, she'll stay Roronoa Sora. Another important thing about the Akaito Clan is that they have the sewing needle pierced through their left ear - and this continues with Cora's kids! BUT because jewelry is generally so important to Cora as a person and is a huge symbolic thing for her relationship with Zoro and Sanji, this also carries over to their kids. So, the swordfighters of the family get a dangly earring on the left side and the ones who use Sanji's kick-based fighting style get an anklet on the right. Any other body part is free reign and the whole family uses that pretty liberally. Let me tell you, the Akaito-Roronoas love their jewelry. Also, this absolutely applies to any of the kids she babysits.
Speaking of kids she babysits, Reina/Pandora Island is basically just Straw Hat daycare/summer camp. I'm very convinced that most of the Straw Hats would not settle down, and they probably either can't or just don't want to take their kids with them. So, they leave them with the only crewmate that actually has settled down - and that's Cora! Also, she probably talks them into doing just that because she cares a lot for the safety of those kids (especially since they'll inevitably become just as reckless as their parents) and she loves taking care of kids. And just like that, the Akaito-Roronoas and the other Straw Hat kids basically grow up as one family on the island of their auntie Cora and become just as close as the Straw Hats are amongst each other.
And while they're there, they get to learn how to cook, how to swordfight with various swords like a rapier, a katana, a freaking longsword (thanks @supermarine-silvally for the idea, I'll touch on it later) etc, how to fight using only their legs, how to sew, crochet, knit... There's so much they can do! Plus, the island is full of fun plants and animals, and I'm willing to bet one of the Straw Hats or their associates (possibly a certain archaeologist) may have opened up a sort of school too. Straw Hat associates get to come to the island too, of course, and the babysitting service is open to them too. Bringing orphans or abandoned kids that you just happened upon on your travels to the island is also allowed. That place is a child's paradise as long as Cora and the Straw Hats have the say there.
They're giving out last names like candy too. "Oh you wanna learn how to sew? You're an Akaito now." "Hey, you're really interested in history? Oh boy do I have a name for you. You prefer medicine? Well guess what I got!" "You like swordfighting? Would you like to share a name with the World's Greatest Swordsman?" "Don't have a last name? Don't like your last name? How would you like to have the name of the King of the Pirates?" Sometimes they invent last names too, sort of like how the Marines give out epithets but they're good traits and are a sign of respect and love.
Currently drawing a blank on anything more to touch on (if you have any questions or thoughts please let me know!) and I don't have any set ideas for any kids right now, so... time to talk about something that @supermarine-silvally and I talked about, and that's the topic of what happens to Mihawk after Zoro beats him:
I say he moves in on Reina/Pandora Island! Well... sort of. He does live there, apparently, but he's more of an island cryptid. Sometimes he's just chilling on the island, sometimes he's giving swordfighting lessons, sometimes he tends to one of the gardens, and sometimes he just straight up disappears for a while because his social battery needs to recharge. The kids love him. They go "Look! That's my grandpa Mihawk!" He's also one of the island's main defense mechanisms. Should anyone dare try to attack the island, Mihawk just appears on his little coffin canoe and slices their entire fleet in half. It's not like Zoro couldn't do that, but he's busy travelling around. Sanji could also absolutely destroy those ships and they wouldn't even see him coming or leaving, but he's busy with his restaurant. Cora could do it, but she prefers taking care of the kids and it's a lot easier for Mihawk to do. Also, he needs enrichment every once in a while because even if he is retired, I can't imagine him as someone who could just quit being a swordsman. He also gets the added bonus of tailor-made clothes from Cora herself because we all know he's a fancy one.
That's it! Hope you enjoyed.
Also, pssst, there's a Cora drawing incoming...

This video actually inspired a lot of my thoughts about fictional fashion within the tudors ot3 universe (also texting my saati @star-anise like ‘so what’s the fashion capital of the early-mid tudor era’) because in universe it went to Italian (Venetian and Florentine specifically) and French but then also obviously the Ottoman influence (I was going to say ‘later’ but actually it’s there even then) as well as earlier medieval looser silhouettes because the Spanish influence under Juana is also very different. But this was the first thing that made me go ‘…OH’

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: The Tudors (TV) Rating: General Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Characters: Original Female Character(s), Original Male Character(s) Additional Tags: ot3: political power trio, Implied/Referenced Child Abuse Series: Part 8 of Writers' Month 2024 Summary:
The weekend after the John Norwich episode airs, Ellie and Ahmed give a talk at the Town House.
Written for @writersmonth 2024, day 9: clock | museum.
This is for the very lovely @mihrsuri and is set in her Tudors OT3-'verse, in which Thomas Cromwell, having been horrifically abused in childhood by the Earl of Norwich, grows up to marry Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn and, eventually, Norwich gets his comeuppance; but history knows nothing about it until the Triad's existence is discovered in the late 1990s/early 2000s (I think). I wrote a fic for Writers' Month 2022 in which my OC Ellie, the archivist at Welles Hall, Norwich's ancestral home, discovers his very well-hidden personal papers which detail the abuse, and mihrsuri and I have been pinging ideas back and forth about how The Tudors might go in this 'verse, and how the fandom might react to Norwich, who history has perceived as a dashing, heroic spy, and Cromwell clearly having A History...and then the episode in which Norwich's true nature is revealed and all hell breaks loose. Here, Ellie and the team at Welles Hall and Norwich's town house in London have been planning a series of events and an exhibition to get in there as soon as the episode airs and make sure the true history is known and Cromwell's voice is heard after all this time, and Ahmed (another of mihrsuri's OCs and Norwich's biographer, who wrote the book on which the episode is based, incorporating Ellie's discovery) and Ellie are giving a talk...
I'm taking prompts for the rest of Writers' Month- throw me a fandom, characters and scenario for any of the remaining ones and I'll write you a fic!
