The problem is for much of gaming this has become a standard: People show up you learn about them you give gifts and your reward is sex. A) They have had a trans woman on the show on more than one season (https://x.com/persephiroth) plus a transmasc-ish enby is part of the core cast, Ally Beardsley; and Erika Ishii got all sorts of pronouns, they're in the "Harry Potter season"

B) Misfit's and Magic's primary plot beat is about refuting and deconstructing the bulk of Harry Potter's underlaying assumptions and themes it's people taking the stuff they liked out of the books and examining all the stuff that really sucked.

C) It's not that you have to love Dimension20 or w/e, but it pays to be fair to them - they ran Dungeons and Drag Queens with known names in the drag space back in 2023. And a second season of that is coming up.

I'm not saying that Dimension 20 needs to have a trans woman on the cast, but nobody made them do a Harry Potter season.
