hypothetically if they were to remake the unova games they might change a few things and for the most part while i’m scared for the prospect of it i do like thinking about what my unrealistic dream changes would be if they both decided to make the most of the new technical capabilities that come with 3D and to really put passion into it. for one thing i think what i would love most is if they made ghetsis even scarier. like they don’t have to change his dialogue or design bc i’m kind of a purist and it does the job well enough but like imagine if they added more subtleties in his facial or body language. or imagine changes in how n reacts to ghetsis’ presence or mention, such as flinching a little bit. or imagine them adding even more concerning details to n’s room. imagine if you could explore the castle further and you got to go through ghetsis’ room and analyze all his stuff and what it says about him just like you did with n. imagine if they change up his team lineup or at least their movesets and strategies to really double down on what they were trying to imply with his hydreigon, imagine if they make his threats in both games feel even more intimidating than they already were, etc. the children yearn for manga ghetsis

Whew, OKAY.

Cutting it close this year, but I finally got my taxes filed. (Under an extension, of course. I think the money I paid in April to get the extension is part of why my return is so big... because I do actually get a return this year, but I had to Pay Something to get the extension, according to what I could figure out.)

Also: Who knew having so many health issues means a healthier tax return? (Thank you, HSA! The "high deductible" part of my employer's health insurance plan sucks, but I'm really starting to see the beauty of the tax benefits you get with an HSA.)

something I've noted down tonight that might be helpful for others who are into exploring more with overstim kink with a partner:

from the side of the dom, please pay very close attention to the body language of your sub. since this particular kink pushes the boundaries of what might be considered too much, it's important to recognize the signs of it becoming legitimately too much and needing a safe word. it will be a lot more fun for both of you if you can learn where that limit is without needing to use the safe word at all by recognizing the cues leading up to it potentially being used. and if your sub can see that they can trust you to recognize those signs before they need to go so far as safe word, you can play more with how much you push those boundaries! knowing when to back off is just as important as knowing when to keep going. using the color system can be helpful as well for checking in, and I need to remember to be using that more often.

from my memories on the side of the sub, it can be helpful to communicate what those cues might even be to your dom if they're having trouble figuring it out for themselves. not everyone is very attuned to body language, and might need a couple of hints of what to look for. and don't be afraid to safe word! the color system works so well because yellow won't end the scene, just slow things down, but if you truly need to stop, communicating that is extremely important. I like to add on another separate emergency safe word with the colors just in case.

remember, doing things safely means you can do them more often!
