Hey Arnold Study ENTRY01 "Arnold visits Arni"

GUuYS- As you may know I recently got re-obessed with Hey Arnold for a brief amount of time very recently. (Sadly I had to kill that obsession because of school and Looney tunes comic- but no worries, I'll try to come back as soon as the comic is finished jahsj qwq)

BUT I GOT LIKE REALLY OBSESSED LIKE SUPER- YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY HEY ARNOLD SCREENSHOTS I HAVE NOW- I HAVE A WORD DOCUMENTING EVERYTHING FROM ALMOST EVERY EPISODE (Except the ones from last seasons cause I was honestly tired of writting while eating and pausing and not being able to watch comfortably Hey Arnold-)

Side note 01: I don't mean sl*ty in a demeaning way, I was trying to explain things to myself and let them clear to me x'0

Side note 02: This episode happens previously to "Married" episode.

Obviously the most interesting part of the episode was how Arnold switched Helga's personality to someone he actually developed feelings for and it wasn't too far away from Helga's real character like her poetry, her schemes to get closer to the guy she liked and general appearance. What's also interesting to note is how they changed the other characters, they basically switched their personalities between two characters, ex: Making phoebe dummer and Stinky smarter. Gerald more exaggerated and Sid cooler. Rhonda carless and Harold all about looks.

But when they switched Lila and Helga, Lulu came out more "sluty" and flirty. Traits that have nothing to do with Helga. And Hilda came out as inteligent and sweeter, which could be characteristics that could apply to Lila- only without her iconic "Ever so much" and exaggerated kindness. Those characters didn't seem to switch personalities. Maybe show unconscious beliefs of them?

It's a awesome episode to think about since it's all Arnold's dream so reflecting on the way he portrayed "helga" he must have some sort of idea of her, that she's nice deep down. Like he has confirmed he doesn't think Helga is mean for the sake for being mean in the Helga vs Patty episode. Like he has seen Helga act nice in the Rhonda costume party when she pretended to be Lila, like when he took care of her when she got amnesia and seemed too innocent, like when he convinced her to wash dishes and do the right thing. He must by this point, be almost sure there's a good nature underneath her despite how much she fights it.

About Lila... When they first started going out she was quite flirty. And she was also quite flirty when she went out with Arni, so maybe he perceives her attentions to certain degree a little sl+ty out of jealousy? idk just a thought.

Besides Lulu keeps Lila's way of communication "all so much about" "I'm all to certain that-"And the dream kept Arnold and Helga's tradition for crashing againts eachother. Making them essentially themselves and not them with switched personalities.

I think it's also interesting to see how Arnold also instantly fell in love"" when he saw Hilda. The first thing he asked was "Do I know you?" as to say she reminds him of someone he has seen cause he thinks he already knows her. The only possible answer is Helga.

IT's also interesting to see how Arnold bumped exactly with her as soon as she finished telling the moon if she would ever meet her one and true love.

I love Arnold's little shy hands hiding behind him, listening to her happily,,,

Arnold has witnessed to certain degree Helga reciting poetry like when Arni visited last time, so it's not crazy he made that connection to Hilda admitting she was reciting poetry.

ANYWAY in review, despite if he knows if Helga is a good person or not which at this point I'm sure he has a gut feeling, he must find her attractive rigth of the bait or at least feel attraction. Like when he complimented her the first time he saw her on "Helga on the couch" episode and because he doesn't even "know her" and he can't help to seem all goofy.

Note he also included Helga's "love sighs" on the dream, so maybe he has heard them before??

"I've never met anyone like you Hilda, and I really like you a lot"

He confessed to Hilda and Hilda confessed she liked Arni- This episode could be taken in two perspectives, one is that It's just like when Arni visited but this time is Arnold is Arni; so even if Arnold seems perfectly normal on this episode, he may have been a weirdo to everyone in town except to Lulu like it happened with Arni and Lila. This could be it but for wouldn't be completely accurate, Hilda would have had already been obsessed with Arni or idk maybe not. It could also be Arnold confessing to Lila and Lila saying she likes Arni, except for the whole intro to the situation reviewed on one ep. It's interesting he confessed to Hilda on his dream tho

(I didn't even understand myself what I meant but I'm gonna add that it could be Arnold falling in and out of love with Lila? And meaning he could fall in love with Helga if she showed her true nature? OR saying he already sort of likes her? Or likes what he thinkg he knows SHE IS??? LIKE I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M DOING THIS- I KNOW THEY ARE GONNA END UP TOGETHER I JUST WANT TO KNOW HE LIKED HER A LITTLE BACK TOO BACK THEN AND IT WASN'T THE RESULT OF HELGA SAVING HIS PARENTS AAAAA-)

Everyone chased Arnold except Hilda on Arnold's dream

Why was Arnold so happy that Helga was really Helga? If she was so nice in his dream (And so mean irl)? Was is because he really likes her as her is; or cause she doesn't like Arni like on his dream? LIKE WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I MEAN I'M HAPPY HE'S HAPPY TO SEE THE REAL HELGA BUT DOES THAT MEAN HE LIKES HER MEAN OR WHAT I'M CONFUSED

Why was Arnold so happy to find out Lila only liked him? Cause she wasn't the "sl+ty" Lulu who did like him? MAybe he was just happy he wasn't on his nightmare anymore, still Hilda was no nightmare except till the end where she rejected him,,,, I love how he only adressed them like wth- the rest of your friends were the ones chasing you to your death and you don't wanna doble check that???

Wendi: Way to go, weirdo!

Yumyulack then looks down sadly but, then notices something underneath his pants that made him run to the restroom. Principal Cooke grows suspicious and follows him. Yumyulack heads to the bathroom. Ms. Perez sees Cooke and follows him. Then, Principal Cooke kicks down the door with his feet. Yumyulack screams.

Ms. Perez: Cooke what are you doing?!

Principal Cooke: Ah-Ha! gasp in shock

To their shock, Yumyulack has human legs. Principal Cooke faints. Yumyulack panics and calls Korvo.

Yumyulack Solar-Opposites: Korvo! Help! I think I’m turning into a- starts glowing and screams

Then, Ms. Perez and Cooke shield their eyes as the glow gets brighter. The glow then disappears. Then, Ms. Perez and Cooke gasp upon seeing unbelievable: Yumyulack is now a human teenage boy!

Principal Cooke: Aw fuck! I knew that your dads should’ve never given you those vintage lunchables and X-Box Live, damn it!

Ms. Perez: Yumyulack?

Quasarblast arrives in Las Vegas at the casino La Smaragdus started her first crime and goes up the security guard.

Security Guard: Who the fuck are you?

Korvo Solar-Opposites/Quasarblast: Your worst fucking nightmare!

Security Guard: Hey go easy man! I can tell you everything!

Quasarblast goes invisible. Then, he opens the door and plays the security footage as he gasp. He then sees La Smaragdus paying of the security guards

Korvo Solar-Opposites/Quasarblast: This is not good…

As he looks closely, Quasarblast then sees La Smaragdus stealing a priceless diamond and turn some the costumers as the superhero Shlorpian turns towards the guards in anger

Suddenly…

Security Guard: Prim Quasarblast out!

Quasarblast gets into a fighting stance. The guards then ambush and shoves Quasarblast into a cement mixer as he screams and is thrown outside as the block breaks and Quasarblast free himself and flies back home. There, Quasarblast turns back into Korvo and hides behind the garbage pail as it starts raining. Korvo groans in frustration He looks up at the Taco Bell sign and sighs because he is behind a dumpster at Taco Bell

Korvo Solar-Opposites: I have the worst luck today.

Korvo then looks up at the sky as rain falls in him.

Korvo Solar-Opposites: Now what do I do?

Suddenly… A nose appears on Korvo’s face as he grow surprised and confused.

Korvo: What the fuck?

Then, ears appear on Korvo as he grow shock

Korvo: Oh god! No!

Korvo then starts glowing.

Korvo Solar-Opposites: glows brighter WHAT THE FUCK’S HAPPENING?!

The glow disappears and Korvo groans and clutches his head.

Korvo Solar-Opposites: offscreen What the hell was that?

Korvo then feels something on his head that made him gasp. Korvo looks himself in the mirror. Korvo screams in shock, because he has now becomes a gorgeous human as he breaths in and out.

Human Korvo Solar-Opposites: Oh God! I’m too attractive!

Human Korvo suddenly hears something.

Janice: offscreen H’no Hello? Anyone out there y’know?

Human Korvo gasps and runs off. Human Korvo then hides in a empanada truck then Randall from Halloween sees him.

Randall: Hey, sir? What are you doing in here?

Human Korvo Solar-Opposites: RANDALL FROM HALLOWEEN?!

Randal: Yeah, that’s my name. Why are you-

Janice: offscreen Mr! Wait! Are you okay?!

Then, someone opens the door and it turns out be Janice from Korvo and Terry’s old job.

Human Korvo Solar-Opposites: Wait. Janice?!

Randall: Huh?

Randall then looks at Janice and grows lovestruck while “True” from Spandau Balledt plays in the background:

Randall: Oh, uh hi.

Janice: What?!

Then Human Korvo gulps and tries think of a better idea. Then, he sees a magazine cover for LBGTQ+ Models and got an idea upon seeing a name.

Human Korvo Solar-Opposites: Uh, I mean Korey.

Randall: Korey?

Janice: H’no, that’s a good name, y’know?

Human Korvo Solar-Opposites: Uh yes. I just moved here… notices his ripped apart and ruined robe Oh shit! My clothes!

Hell, I could see them bonding over Helga's obvious crush on Arnold and trying to figure out how to get them together. Gerald would be against it at first but Phoebe explaining the real Helga behind closed doors might convince him to see Helga in a new light and finally come around to getting Arnold/Helga together. Natalie graduated from Columbia with a bachelor's degree in engineering, and from MIT with a doctorate in both engineering and in parapsychology.

She owns an orange tabby/calico mix cat that she rescued after finding her outside of the garage where she worked. She named her Tempest (commonly called Tempie for short) after seeing the cat's stormy grey eyes.

Unlike her older sister Addison, Natalie grew up very interested in her father's past work as a Ghostbuster. Growing up as the Internet developed was an asset in helping her uncover more of her father's past. Following the reunification of the Ghostbusters, she became one, following in her father's footsteps.

Along with Marie Spengler and Kelly Venkman, she was one of the first scientists enlisted by Winston Zeddemore to work at the Paranormal Research Center.

Writing a Magical Girl AU of Hey Arnold! and currently obsessed with how Arnold unknowingly wants to chase both sides of Helga.

The door that he had unknowingly began watching, suddenly was thrown open and a familiar girl marched out. Arnold recognised her dirty blonde hair immediately; the way she swung her fists and her face had set itself into its signature frown.

He hadn’t even noticed that he had begun staring at the Pataki house. Micah lived close to Arnold, so it was only required that he walk down the block.

Arnold narrowed his eyes when Helga held the door open and a small body followed her from the gap.

It was . . . was that a cat? He stopped. When had Helga gotten a cat? As far as he knew, she hated cats. And—he blinked—did it have purple eyes? Was that even possible?

He was brought from his internal questioning when Helga slammed the door shut in a huff. Arnold figured that she was, once again, in one of her moods, no doubt from another argument with her dad. But . . . something about her appearance was off. He didn’t know what it was . . . he scanned her form—she was no longer wearing her school uniform. She had adorned her usual baggy jeans and worn hoodie. That wasn’t out of the usual, Helga preferred to wear clothes that kept her from being noticed. His eyes jumped to her face and he then realised why she seemed so different—Helga wasn’t angry. She was serious.

Her complexion was smooth and steady like glass. She had her jaw clenched, lips pressed into a line. She looked at her cat, who he swore he could see nodding, before she pulled her hood over her face. Her eyes moved upwards and for a moment, Arnold’s heart jumped into his throat as he thought she caught him looking. Her eyes had always had that electric look, the type that either zapped you in their zest, or pulled you along for the ride. But then, Helga dropped her gaze, her stare melting into a ghostly wisp, before she and the cat dashed down the street, rounding the corner out of his sight. 

He sighed in slight relief. She hadn’t noticed his staring. Her eyes had barely seemed to even register that there was a window across from her, let alone that that someone could be watching her from it. She seemed much too tired for the thought to even occur to her.

But then, he frowned. Why had she seemed so tired?

Not that it was his business, but something about Helga seemed . . . off. Different. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but it seemed like Helga from last week and Helga today were two totally different people. When Arnold had knocked her over today, he had expected her to jump up with smoke pouring from her ears. He expected for her face to be red, for her to threaten to hit him, maybe even spit on him.

But she hadn’t.

Instead, she had looked at him—somehow, it seeming like she wasn’t actually seeing him—and apologised. Her, Helga Pataki, had apologised to him.

Even Gerald had thought it strange. In fact, his best friend was convinced that that wasn’t even Helga, but actually, an alien in disguise who had disposed of the real Helga Pataki but hadn’t been smart enough to study up on her character.

‘Helga Pataki—that girl never apologises,’ Gerald had stated as he stuffed chips into his mouth. ‘She probably doesn’t even know what an apology is! It’s totally an alien, I tell you! An alien that wants to eat our brains then take us over! And it’s starting by disguising itself as Pataki, although why they would wanna pretend to be her, I do not understand.’

Arnold frowned, thinking on it.

He hadn’t liked how Gerald had talked about her. He knew Helga could be rough, but she wasn’t bad. And even if she were, she had never been as bad as Gerald often described her. How their grade would describe her. He knew that technically, Helga had never been his friend, but he remembered those times from their childhood, when she would reveal to him that side to her. The side that wasn’t what everyone thought of her, what she thought of herself. The side that dreamed, the side that was gentle. The side of her that loved, loved so ferociously that she would race to the ends of the earth to protect. The side of her that cared so much that she had to pretend that she didn’t and had learned to keep her cards tight to her chest.

That side. The side that Arnold—truthfully—still thought about.

He wanted to brush off Gerald’s theories, but given what had transpired, Arnold was embarrassed to admit that perhaps there was some truth to his best friend’s words. Because apparently, monsters and girls with superpowers existed. Were aliens even that far–fetched anymore?

Arnold couldn’t get that look out from his head.

The one that she had given him on the bus. It had been so chilling. For as long as he had known Helga, she always had this intensity. It burned from her gaze like a force. She had begun dressing as she did, so she could sink back into the crowd. But Helga Pataki had always had an edge to her and regardless of what she wore, Arnold thought she would always stand out from the crowd. She couldn’t help herself. And that was something he had always admired about her.

That’s why the look that she had given him, it scared him. Her gaze lacked their usual intensity. They no longer were burning with her passion, that inner light that she had kept trapped behind glass. When her eyes had moved to his, it felt like her mind was elsewhere and she wasn’t really seeing him, even as she apologised.

It had made him curious and throughout the day, he couldn’t stop peeking in her direction. He wasn’t sure what he was specifically looking for, other than some understanding. Something that maybe he would find that would make everything click. But she had remained like that for the remainder of the day—lifeless. Empty. She had gotten in trouble for wearing pants rather than the mandatory skirt, but even that didn’t seem to get a reaction out of her. She had that blank look as she had simply muttered, “Must’ve forgot.”

Even Lila had seemed curious about it. She had shot him a look from where they were all sat at the back of the class.

Come to think of it, why had she worn pants today? Helga didn’t much care for rules, but she also didn’t like calling attention to herself. Surely, she’d know that if she disobeyed the rules like that, then attention was exactly what she would receive.

Arnold watched that corner. She had long disappeared, but he couldn’t tear his eyes away from it. He almost wanted to follow her. He had watched as Lila had been brave enough to approach her, even chasing after her when she had walked away. He had remained behind, because as curious as he had become about her, he also knew that she was adamant about her boundaries. That she had created a small space for herself and she didn’t want people walking into it. She hadn’t said anything to him this morning, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t eventually break from her silence to yell at him if he crossed those boundaries. Although, he pondered whether it would be worth it, because at least then she would be feeling something rather than nothing.

He wanted to follow her, but he didn’t. Because they weren’t friends—nor had they ever been. Arnold liked Helga and didn’t mind the thought of pursuing a friendship with her, but given what had happened years ago, he doubted she would ever be interested in starting anything with him. So, as his not–friend, it really wasn’t his business what Helga did. He didn’t—and shouldn’t—care.

So, why did he?

Arnold wasn’t sure why he hung back like he had. It was obvious that she wasn’t going to turn up. She had disappeared and so should he. But something twisted in his chest when he thought about that. Because what if she came back? He wanted to see her again. She was a colour he had never experienced before. A sound he wanted to keep hearing. She had a tall and electrifying presence that stung the air and everything around him. She was beautiful and dazzling and . . .

And her eyes . . .

He couldn’t shake them from his mind. They had been carved into his head, something he could wash away from his memories. When she looked at you, it felt like shooting stars had you pinned to the spot. Electricity shot through you, but it didn’t hurt. It excited you. It excited him.

They stirred something in him. He didn’t know what. He wanted to chase after her to find out what.

He knew that he wasn’t different from anyone else. Everyone stared at her in awe. Of course they did, she was magnificent. Her presence enticed enchantment and beckoned everyone towards her. He couldn’t get that image out of his head when she had been walking towards them. It had felt like a scene from a movie that had been caught in slow motion. Light had rolled down her back and fanned out beneath her neck and shoulders like she was an angel. The wind had whipped her hair around her face, making it dance beneath her chin and over her chest. Her hair was a cascade of golden curls but when the light caught it, her strands were turned into gilded ringlets. She had looked like a goddess.

But then, she had looked at him and he felt like he had been struck with lightning.

Because her eyes—they were beautiful, but . . . there was something about them. Something that made him feel like he was taking part in a scene he had already experienced. That her presence, as beautiful and hazy as it made things, it wasn’t as foreign to him as it had felt before.

But why? What was making him feel like this?

what kind of HA x fallout storylines are you thinking about currently?

Kinda following the fallout 4 story. Arnold and his parents is in cryo chamber until 200 years. His parents got kidnapped by the institute and he escaped the vault to find his parents. Along his way he met Helga, the scavenger and ex-raider. Basically his companion and quiet helpful to his journey.

In hillwood city (diamond city lol), he could meet Rhonda, a journalist (just like piper hehe) and a detective who i haven't thought of who could it be lol.

Arnold could join the brotherhood (where there's knight Gerald so far) or the railroad (where there's his ghoul cousin Arnie, agent Brainy who is a synth, and agent Lila who is also a synth. So far). Or he could built his own minutemen.

Arnold would also need a help from Phoebe who knows quiet a bit of the institute. She's an escaped recent vault dweller from idk what number vault. She lives with alot of robots and other protection in abandoned vault. She's also pretty deranged, consider a victim from an experiment she has gone through the old vault. Thrilled when fights occur.

So far that's all i got.
