Brewed Connections - Spencer Reid
Tumblr media
Summary: After his favourite coffee shop closes unexpectedly, Spencer Reid discovers Y/N's charming coffee shop and becomes a regular customer. Bonding over their shared love for literature, the two develop a close friendship.
The sun filtered through the windows of the quaint little coffee shop, casting a warm glow over the mismatched wooden tables and chairs. Spencer Reid, with his usual mop of messy hair and earnest expression, peered through the window. He had been searching for a new coffee spot since his regular one closed down. This one, with its shelves brimming with old books and the scent of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air, seemed promising.
As the bells above the door chimed, Y/N looked up from her work station, her eyes meeting Spencer’s. Her heart did a tiny flip. "Hi there," she greeted with a radiant smile.
"Uh, h-hi," Spencer stuttered, a shy smile crossing his face as he approached the counter. "Could I get coffee with lots of sugar, please?"
"Of course," she said, her fingers dancing over the coffee machine. "One super sweet coffee coming right up." She couldn’t help but notice his adorable awkwardness, finding it endearing.
With his coffee in hand, Spencer retreated to a cozy corner booth, selecting a book from the nearby shelf. But his attention kept drifting back to Y/N, who was now humming softly to herself as she worked.
Caught in the act of staring, Spencer quickly averted his gaze, his cheeks warming. He tried to focus on his book, but thoughts of the enchanting barista lingered.
Before leaving for work, Spencer bid farewell to the woman behind the counter. "Thank you," he said, his eyes meeting hers once more.
Y/N’s smile widened. "Have a good day!"
⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
The next day, Spencer made a deliberate effort with his appearance, donning his favorite glasses and a smart sweater vest. As the chime of the bell announced his entrance, Y/N’s face lit up in recognition.
"Welcome back!" she greeted cheerfully. "Glad you enjoyed your coffee yesterday."
Spencer was momentarily speechless, struck by how captivating she looked. "Um, thank you," he managed, his gaze taking in her outfit, dark jeans and a Doctor Who tee shirt. "I like your shirt. Are you a Doctor Who fan?"
Y/N’s eyes sparkled. "Yes, I am! Are you?"
A spirited conversation about the show ensued, with Spencer’s coffee prepared and handed to him along with a complimentary chocolate chip muffin.
"I didn’t order this," Spencer remarked, confusion evident in his voice.
"It’s on the house," Y/N said with a wink. "Consider it an incentive to come back."
Blushing, Spencer stammered out his thanks. "I’ll see you tomorrow," he promised before hurrying out.
Their morning encounters became a cherished routine. Y/N had his order memorized and always added a little extra treat, delighting in Spencer’s surprised expressions. They shared their love for literature during Y/N’s breaks, their discussions ranging from classic novels to obscure scientific journals.
Soon enough, they exchanged phone numbers, their connection extending beyond the confines of the coffee shop.
⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
One day, Spencer sent a text explaining his absence due to a case. Y/N felt a pang of disappointment but understood. Meanwhile his colleagues noticed his unusual attachment to his phone.
"Derek, what's up with Reid? He's been glued to his phone all day," Emily remarked.
"Yeah, it's weird," Derek added, eyeing Spencer suspiciously.
Cornered by his friends, Spencer denied any attachment to the device. However, Derek managed to snatch his phone and discovered the playful exchanges between them.
"Ooooh, pretty boy’s got a girlfriend!" Derek teased, waving the phone in the air.
"She's not my girlfriend!" Spencer protested, cheeks aflame.
Blushing furiously, he tried to reclaim his phone from Derek's grasp. "Give it back, Derek!"
Derek held the phone out of reach, his grin widening. "Not until you admit you've got a thing for this girl."
"I do not have a 'thing' for her," Spencer insisted, though his flushed cheeks and stuttering protest said otherwise.
Penelope, ever the tech wizard, chimed in, "Oh, come on, Pretty Boy! We've all seen the way you light up when you're texting her."
"Yeah," Emily agreed, "It's adorable."
Aaron Hotchner, trying to maintain some semblance of order, intervened, "Enough, Derek. Give him his phone back."
With a dramatic sigh, Derek handed the phone back to Spencer, but not before sending a wink his way. "You should invite her to meet us sometime."
Spencer rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress a smile. "We'll see," he said, tucking his phone safely into his pocket.
The team exchanged knowing glances, eagerly awaiting the day they would finally meet the mysterious Y/N who had captured Spencer's attention so completely.
⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
The bell above the door chimed, and Y/N glanced up to find Spencer standing there, looking a little sheepish. Without thinking, she rushed around the counter, enveloping him in a warm hug.
"I can’t believe you didn’t tell me you were back!" she exclaimed, pulling back to look at him.
"I wanted to surprise you," Spencer admitted, a shy smile gracing his lips.
After serving him his coffee, Y/N declared a break, eager to catch up with the intriguing man who had become such an essential part of her daily routine.
As they sat together, coffee in hand, Spencer and Y/N realized that their connection went beyond shared interests and sweet treats. And as the days turned into weeks, their bond only grows stronger, proving that sometimes, the best relationships start over a cup of coffee.

It had been a few weeks since you had seen that familiar spider up close, nothing more than him swinging from afar, not that you should’ve been complaining. All of your time was being taken up by studying and then getting tutored by that Midtown High kid, Peter Parker. He was a lot cooler than you had expected but the fact all you did when hanging out was math really tainted the image of him in your head.
no matter how pretty he was.
Although with the holidays, more crime typically followed Santa around the globe so you weren’t exactly surprised how Spidey was extra busy this time of year.
Yet you still sighed in disappointment when you got home and once again met a note on your windowsill.
”Hey, pretty lady, stopped by but you weren’t in :( can’t wait til you’re done with your tutoring sessions”
The note was short but still, it brought a stupid little smile to your face, pulling out the notebook from your backpack, you wrote a note of your own.
”miss you spidey”
you set it on the outside of your window, setting a small rock from your desk on top so that it wouldn’t run away in the wind before quickly shutting your bedroom window and shivering from the cold.
“Maybe I should get a onesie”
~
“Y/n? You still with me?” Peter asked, grabbing your attention away from the window of the coffee shop you sat in. “Yeah, sorry, Peter” You give a quiet laugh, looking back at the window for a second, just checking to see if he’s out there before turning back to Peter, who was looking at you with a soft smirk.
“What, why are you looking at me like that?” You asked, earning a laugh from the boy as he set his pen down.
“When did I lose you?” He asked, ignoring your question. “I don’t know,” You shrugged, honestly.
Peter shook his head, his smile unmoving as he closed the book in front of him. He leaned back into the leather of the booth, turning his gaze to your face. “Can’t get you focused at all lately” He joked, but not really. “I’m sorry” You gave him a half smile, hoping it would help your apology come off as genuine, just earning another laugh from the boy as he took his glasses off.
God, he’s so hot. dude don’t think like that he’s right there
oh god what if he’s a mind read-
“Y/n? Again? C’mon, sweetheart” He chuckled, snapping you out of your thoughts. You laughed with him this time. “I’ve just got like no sleep lately,” You explained, ignoring the way your heart sped up at the pet name and earning a sympathetic smile and nod from Peter. “Is there a reason why?” He asked, leaning forward just slightly as if you were sharing secrets.
“It feels like waiting for a phone call every night” You shrugged, not missing how Peter’s face fell at your words.
“Oh, boy trouble?” He asked, quieter this time. “something like that” he just hummed in response, not wanting to press any further.
“Well, if you need a distraction, there’s this school thing-“ “Oh you mean at Nerdtown High?” You cut him off with a tease, laughing at how Peter scoffed and couldn’t help his smile. “Yeah, it’s like a winter formal dance thing, I’m in charge of takin’ pictures and stuff, could use some company” He shrugged, not wanting to just outwardly ask you.
“And I have a special invite from the photographer himself?” You feigned a flattered face, dramatically putting your hand over your heart.
“Yes,” he laughed, “if you want to come, that is.” He shrugs, smiling at you. You mimicked his actions from earlier, leaning forward into the end of the table, still far enough to not feel his breath but close enough to make Peter slightly tilt his head as if unsure of what you were doing.
Okay, so maybe how pretty he was did make a difference
“So, what are we wearing?” You asked, smiling.
~
The last-minute invite limited your options but luckily you managed to dig up something from your closet and accessorize enough to feel good about how you looked. While you were putting your earrings in, a knock hit your window, interrupting your giddy feelings about going to a school dance with Peter.
Your head whipped around when there was a second knock, knowing now who it was as you got up and quickly opened the window, laughing at how Spidey dramatically fell into your room, completely on purpose.
“hi” You smiled, putting on your jacket to shield yourself from the cold. “hey, pretty lady” Spider-man’s voice was distorted, muffled almost but also sounded like he was purposely making his voice quieter and deeper. “Why do you sound like that?” You laughed as you asked the question.
“Got a cold” he shrugged, before looking you up and down. “You look nice” Spiderman nodded, as if in approval but also as if he had to shut up before saying more.
“Thanks, don’t stare too much though, I’ve got a date!” You teased, smiling excitedly as you sat back down and focused on the red color lining your lips before blending it with your fingertip.
“A date huh?” He asked, not even trying to hide his shock at this point. You sigh, dramatically looking back at Spiderman, earning a chuckle at your theatrics. “Well, I think it’s a date, but if you ask questions, it sucks the fun out of it.” He nodded as if he understood your explanation.
He didn’t.
“You remember that tutor I mentioned?”
Spidey hummed in response, making himself comfortable on your old bean bag chair, watching you finish getting ready.
“It’s with him” You spoke with a giddy light to your voice as you applied lip oil over the red on your lips.
The silence from the usually obnoxious talkative spider caught your attention.
And while you didn’t know why, it was because he was internally panicking.
“Thought he was like a total nerd” He laughed awkwardly, worried he’d blow his cover.
“Oh, he totally is,” You chose to ignore the scoff from Spidey as you continued speaking. “But, he’s also like charming and funny, and he’s so fuckin cute, he calls me sweetheart and like how he rambles apologies whenever he’s late and he always insists on walking me home even though I'm way out of his way for his own walk. Oh my gosh and the other day he hugged me which reminded me so much of that scene at the end of Tangled, like he just hugged all of me, does that make sense? Like he needed to be as close as possible, Ugh”
As you rambled on about your almost embarrassing crush on Peter, all he could hear was his heart pounding in his chest, he had spent weeks as Spiderman, coming to your rescue for mundane tasks, going as far as leaving notes when he wanted to see you but couldn’t.
Here he was thinking Peter Parker was ruining his plans as your math tutor, meanwhile, He was the one you couldn’t stop rambling about.
Not Spiderman
But Peter.
He was freaking the fuck out.
“Oh my god, what time is it?” You asked, cutting off Peter’s Spiderman’s thoughts as you urgently looked for your phone. “Spidey, you know I love you, babe, but he’s gonna be here like any second.” You offered an apologetic smile as Spiderman waved it off, a way to say It’s all good,
“Hey, have fun tonight, pretty lady!” He said, clearing his throat as if he was trying not to cough, and before you had a chance to respond, Spiderman was gone.
~
“Did I mention how pretty you look?” Peter asked as he snapped another picture of you, complimenting you for the 5th, no 6th time tonight.
not that you’d been counting
You smiled, shaking your head. “No, I don’t think you have” You teased, earning that laugh that felt so painfully familiar in return.
“Hey, I have a question for you,” Peter started, still unsure about your previous conversation with Spiderman, even if you laid out all he’d need to know.
The christmas lights and hanging snowflakes around the room suddenly became incredibly interesting to you as you nodded, avoiding all hints of eye contact possible, and silently thanking anyone who was listening in prayer as instead of looking at you, he started photographing other students and teachers dancing around the room to the Christmas music playing.
Peter bit the inside of his cheek as he thought out his next few words, trying to not talk himself out of it. Distracting himself by taking photos of his classmates, he finally spoke.
“Do you prefer Pepsi or Coke?”
coward
You laughed at the question, so it must’ve counted for something, right?
Or that’s at least what he had hoped as he smiled and listened to your unnecessary rant of an answer.
~
You shoved your hands into the pockets of Peter’s jacket that you were currently wearing at his insistence, of course, not being able to help yourself as you did a quick scan of the sky as Peter walked you home.
He didn’t need instructions on how to get there anymore.
“Lookin' for something?” He asked, nudging you lightly.
Why did he always notice you looking for Spiderman?
“Someone, actually” You smiled at him, turning your gaze to your shoes, counting the cracks under your feet.
“Oh,” play it cool, Peter. “Spiderman?” Was that too obvious?
You shrugged, looking at Peter with your head tilted.
“Didn’t know you were a fan” He continued, his turn now to count the cracks.
“Yeah, something like that” you chuckled to yourself, shaking your head before looking at Peter, watching as he smiled softly at the concrete beneath his feet.
“I had a really great time tonight, Peter” You sighed, nudging him slightly once your apartment complex came into view, even if you still had 3 more minutes of walking.
You really enjoyed your walks home with Peter. Of course, you counted how long the walks were.
“Me too” he nudged back, stopping for a moment and getting your attention by the feeling of his scarf getting tossed around your shoulders, you stopped walking now, allowing him to properly adjust the soft fabric around your neck making it two items of his you were now wearing.
“Can’t have you catching a cold for the holidays” Peter whispered, soft eyes moving to look into yours upon realizing how close you were. “Course not” you agreed in the same tone.
The moment lasted for however much time wasn’t enough, ending with the sound of police sirens, you both turned at the sound, watching as 2, 3, 4 cop cars rushed past you both.
“Think I know where Spidey’s been” You mumble to yourself, though not missing the quiet laugh from Peter as he threw his arm around your shoulder, urging you to keep walking, seeming to be sort of rushing now.
You didn’t question it, it was getting late and you knew he didn’t like leaving May alone too late into the night, it makes her worry would be all he told you anyway, so why pry?
You also had quickly decided to try and forget about the ruined moment, content in feeling as he wrapped his arms around your waist, forcing your arms around his neck in the hug you had loved so much and a quiet “I’ll see you in two weeks” mumbled into the shoulder of his your jacket.
Shit, winter break, you almost forgot about that
“Merry Christmas, Peter” You mumbled back, holding your breath as he pulled away and not letting it go til after you opened the door to the lobby.
“Hey,” his voice made you turn around, tilting your head like a silent question mark.
“Merry Christmas, Sweetheart”
~
The words replay in your head even still as you lie in your bed, waiting for your dreams to overtake you. How he looked at you and how he spoke the words so softly, despite having heard him call you Sweetheart a dozen times by now, you couldn’t get over it.
That seemed to mix with the anxiety you were feeling about whatever was going on with those policemen tonight, why was he not following? Was he already there? Is it about what’s had him so occupied the last few weeks?
The unanswered questions of worry and giddy feelings of adoration put you in a seemingly never-ending loop of anxiety that you were completely unable to come out no matter how hard-
Thump thump thump
You sat up, almost giving yourself whiplash with how you turned to look at your window.
Thump thump
They were weaker that time, uh oh.

You and Changbin had been friends for years. Chan had introduced the two of you just pre-debut and you both had been inseparable since. From late nights over at his dorm, to early mornings at the studio, he just seemed to get you in a way you others didn’t.
Him and Chan were spending another evening in the studio, finishing up songs for the next comeback. The booming of bass flooded out as you opened the soundproof door.
“Hey,” you started to speak, giving the boy a small wave. “Hope I’m not interrupting, Binnie, you left your hoodie at my place last night and I know how cold the studio can get so I figured I would come run it by.” You saw the blush fall on his cheeks as you walked over to where he sat at the mixing table to hand him his tan hoodie. Truthfully, you had planned on stealing the hoodie, wearing it around the house, but you two were just friends and that didn’t seem like the appropriate “friend” action. A good friend would wash the hoodie, fold it up nice, and bring it to the owner’s place of employment, right?
“Oh my goodness, you are so thoughtful, thank you!” He takes the hoodie, slipping it over his broad shoulders. “Come have a seat! I was just finishing up this new mix before Chan gets back.” You nod your head, happy to have a chance to hang out with your friend. You loved watching him work. Something about the way his eyebrows furrowed when he was deep in thought, the way his hair would get ruffled underneath the booth headphones, the way he would bite his lip trying to get the audio effects just right, the way he… But all of the things you noticed couldn’t be anything more than platonic… You just loved to see your friend passionate about the things he enjoys and is good at. All friends love to see that!
“Do you want to hear a bit?” Changbin asks, snapping you out of your thoughts. You whip your head to look at him, taking the headphones he held out in his hands.
You give him a sincere smile, “I would love to.”
He leans over the table, pressing a few buttons before leaning back in his chair to get a clear view of your reactions. You get engulfed by the sound, taping your hand on your leg as the beat carries.
“Oh my God, Binnie, this is amazing!” You say, removing the headphones as the cut comes to an end. “My best friend has to be the most talented person in the world.”
Changbin gives a shy laugh at your praise. He is so grateful you enjoy his work, but the word “friend” hits him in his heart every time you say it. “I’m glad you like it,” He tries to hide his disappointment with a smile, just happy to have you here with him, even if it’s not in the way he wants.
“How has everything been going for you today?” he continues. You two saw each other the night before but were used to talking multiple times a day. However, his studio schedule left him with no free time to do so all day.
“Oh you know, the usual,” You start. You look down at your lap, twiddling your thumbs a bit. “Just another failed date, I really need to get off these apps.” You give a small chuckle, hoping to move on from the topic. You had met a really nice guy through one of the many dating apps on your phone and had planned to meet for coffee earlier in the day. You waited at the shop for an hour before realizing he was not planning on showing up and went home where you threw yourself on the couch until you could muster the strength to get up and bring Changbin his hoodie.
“I told you, you need to try meeting people in different ways!” He laughs. This was a conversation you two had often. You would constantly complain about all of your failed dating app dates. The dates you went on to clear your mind of the crush you had on your best friend. Your best friend would then suggest you meet people in person rather than on your phone. “Maybe you can find dates through hobbies, or maybe your friends?”
You give a small laugh before leaning closer to him. “You know, thats not a bad idea…have any friends I can date?” The question wasn’t serious, just a little joke to get a reaction out of him. You knew you didn’t want any of his friends, just him.
Changbin laughs, scratching the back of his head. “Well, there’s me-” he starts before realizing what he was saying, “and Chan, of course.” His original comment was muffled and flew right over your head. “But, I don’t think you want to date Chan, hes practically married to that sound booth,” he says, gesturing to the open booth in front of the desk you two sat at.
“Hmm… I don’t know, Chan is pretty cute…” You tease, avoiding eye contact with Changbin. What were you doing? Sure, Chan was good looking, but definitely not who you have been pining after. Actually, the guy you were into was sitting right next to you and you just told him you found his friend cute!
“Oh come on, I am not allowing you to date Chan,” Changbin says, playfully hitting your arm.
“Ow!” you laugh, rubbing where he hit, even though it wasn’t even close to actually being in pain. “I’m only joking, Binnie.” You take the opportunity to lean your head on his shoulder, the contact making your ears hot. “Besides, I’d choose you over Chan any day.”
Changbin moves his shoulder so you pull your head up to look at him. He gives a small smirk, “Oh, really? Hm, well you know I’d have to think about that,” he says to tease you. He wasn’t sure where this confidence was coming from. Maybe it was the lack of sleep, but he was having a hard time keeping his feelings in tonight. He lets himself come back to the moment, remembering who you are. “You’re quite interesting, but our friendship will always come first,” he says, hoping you couldn't read the sadness in his eyes.
“Right,” you speak quickly, looking away, leaning back to your chair. The space between you grew back to what it should have been. “And we are really good friends.”
“Yes we are, and I am so happy about it,” He gives a fake smile and places his hand on your knee. “You’re really special to me…” his voice trails of as he sees the blush growing across your face. He rolls his chair closer to you reaching his other hand out to gently cup your cheek.
“I might have been teasing you earlier about Chan, but I mean it when I say you’re special to me. I..I like you, you know?”
Your blush goes deeper, feeling his warm hand on your face. Sure, you two had spent many nights cuddles up watching a movie, but something about this contact felt different. It felt intimate.
“Binnie, please don’t play with me like this…” You look down, not wanting to show the disappointment in your eyes. “You like me as a friend, right?
Changbin turns his head the other way, pulling himself away from you. “Yeah,” he nods, “As a friend, I promise. I’m just messing with you,” he says, trying to cover his tracks, hoping none of this is making you uncomfortable. “Friends do that, right?” He asks, turning his attention back to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder pulling you into almost a sort of side hug.
You give a small laugh, “Yeah, totally! Friends can do a lot of things.”
He releases his arm from you, meeting your eyes. “And what kind of things can friends do?”
You look down once again to hide the color of your cheeks, which you are almost certain are about as red as a tomato at this point. “Oh you know…” you trail off, trying to think of an answer. “Friends can cuddle, and…” you don’t allow yourself to finish the thought, feeling the tension sitting in the air.
Changbin leans in, placing a small kiss on the top of your head, sending a shiver straight down your spine. “Well then, friend,” he says, placing an emphasis on that last word, “How about we cuddle for a bit? I could use a break from this song.” He pats his lap, motioning for you to come over. Without hesitation, you are straddling his lap, head resting in the crook of his neck.
He smiles softly, feeling your warmth against him. “Good friends,” he sighs, reaching a hand to stroke your hair. “I’d say we make quite the comfortable pair.”
None of this was feeling real to you, you had to bring yourself back to reality. You lift your head from his shoulder, “How much is left to finish on the song?”
He gives a small chuckle, feeling your breath on his neck. “Oh not much, actually. We’re almost done, just a few more lines,” he starts to rock you gently, feeling your hearts beat in sync.
“That’s good,” you reply, looking up and leaning close to him. “Binnie, just out of curiosity, is there anything else you think close friends could do?” You run a hand through his hair, loosing control of your brain. The words came out without a thought.
Changbin’s heart races slightly over the close proximity and your question.
“Well, good friends can share secrets, and support each other…” he trails off feeling the warm breath of your lips above his. “But were just friends, remember”
You look him up and down, “Binnie, if we’re just friends, why can I practically feel your heart jumping out of your chest right now?” You let yourself be bold, knowing you need him in ways he will never understand.
He swallows hard, unable to meet your eyes. “Friends…um friends…do that…we’re um…just really good…” He struggles to get the words out, reaching out to touch the side of your face.
You decide to just go for it, letting all rationality leave your brain. Your hand comes up to grab his chin, turning his head to look at you. “Now, as a good friend, does this do anything to you?” you ask, practically feeling the heat of his cheeks radiating into the air.
His breath hitches, your faces inches apart. “Well, um… a good friend might be curious about the feelings of another close friend.”
“I think this good friend has maybe had strong feelings for the other good friend, bit was too scared to ruin anything.” His heart races even more, wanting nothing more than to say the words he has been waiting to say for years now.
“A good friend might have those sorts of feelings too…maybe..” You cut him off before he could finish, finally bringing your faces together, letting yourself lean into the kiss, your arms snaking around his neck.
Changbin moans softly into the kiss, gripping your hips as he  leans back in the chair, allowing himself to be pinned against it by your weight. He pulls away momentarily, looking you up and down.
“Your lips, feel so soft against mine, I’ve always wanted to taste them.” A shiver sends through your body, feeling his grip tighten on your hips, leaning in to take more of his lips in yours.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this.”
Changbin’s tongue sweeps against your lips gently, begging for entry as he deepens the kiss. He is completely lost in the moment, his mind blanketed by the desire to have all of you.
Your lips part, allowing him access inside. A small moan leaves your throat as the kiss intensifies. You pull away for air, your mouth still lingering close.
“Baby, when was Chan supposed to get back?”
“Not for another hour at least,” he starts, peppering your neck with kisses as you through your head back. “He had some things to take care of.”
“Perfect,” you lean in to take him into another string kiss, this one feeling different. It lingered with lust and need.
He pulls your hips closer, his tongue gliding against yours. A small whimper escapes the back of his throat as his hands travel up and down your back. You grind softly against him, feeling his hard grow underneath you.
“Fuck, yes…” he moans, kissing every part of your lips, down to your jawline and neck. He growls low in his throat as his hand moves down to grab your ass. “Tell me what you want, baby”
You moan, continuing to grind your hips, wanting to feel more. “Anything please, I just want you.”
He takes this as an invite to stand up. You allow your legs to wrap around his waist as he carries you to lean against the back wall.
“Binnie,” you whimper, feeling the contact of your head against the wall.
“Fuck, that name,” Changbin breaths out, his hands exploring every inch of you. He tugs on the hem of your shirt and you lift your arms, allowing him to take it off in one swift motion.
“You are so fucking sexy like this. All needy for me,” He starts to speak, lowering himself to his knees as his hands grip your thighs.
“Binnie, please” you moan out, desperate for his touch. He takes this as an invitation to swiftly remove your pants, leaving you in nothing but a bra and panties.
“Let Binnie make you feel good, baby” He says, brushing against your sensitive folds, pushing your underwear aside to leave kisses on your clit. He licks a stripe down you before inserting a finger inside of you, thrusting with precision.
Your head hits the wall as you moan. “Fuck, how are you so good at this?” Your words come out as jumbles as he continues to please you.
“Come on, baby. I’m not stopping until you cum all over my fingers,” Changbin murmurs, picking up the pace of his fingers inside you, working you up to the edge.
Your hands reach down to grip his hair, feeling more pleasure than you’ve ever felt before.
“Go ahead, cum for me baby. Let it all go,” he whispers against your clit, sending your legs shaking above him. He feels your walls clench around his fingers and presses his mouth against your clit one last time before standing up and sucking everything off his fingers. His breathing is ragged as he watches you come down from your high.
“Fuck, youre incredible, bunny.” You pull him into a needy kiss, moaning as you taste yourself on his lips. Changbin hums into the kiss, running up and down your back as he holds you close, “I could do this all night.”
“Please,” you whine, “Binnie, I need you to fill me up.” He laughs, picking you up and throwing you down on the couch that lays in the back corner of the studio. Changbin gets on top of you, leaning down for his tongue to invade your mouth once more. Your hands reach down to tug on the waist band of his sweatpants, pulling them and his boxers down.
“Are you sure about this?” he asks, pulling away from the kiss slowly. You nod your head, looking at him, the hunger in his eyes making you flutter. He takes his cock in his hands lining up with your entrance before pushing himself in slowly.
“Tell me when I can move, baby”
“Please, Binnie, I need you,” You whimper, needing to feel him take all of you. With a hum, he starts a steady pace, hitting every spot inside of you. You throw your head back in pleasure, moaning out his name, his cock hitting places you never even knew about.
“I’m not gonna last much longer, you feel so good,” He whines, reaching a hand up to snake around your neck, squeezing gently. “Come on baby, cum for me, you can do it.”
You feel your stomach tighten as you reach your high, trying to use your hand to muffle your screams, remembering where you two were. You clench around him as his body shudders in pleasure as his seed fills you up completely. He reaches down, planting kisses down your neck, not yet pulling out from inside of you.
You speak out, breathless between kisses, “You should probably finish that song before Chan gets back…”
“Mhm..,” he hums, pulling out and sitting up on the couch, his breathing finally stable. “Come here, baby girl,” he says as he pulls you up into his arms, nuzzling his nose against your hair. “You’re amazing.”
Your head falls in the crook of his neck, taking in everything that just happened.
“I take it we’re not good friends anymore, huh?” you ask, giving him a small laugh and placing a kiss on his cheek.
He tucks a strand of hair behind your ear before returning a giggle to your question. “Definitely not,” His voice is soft as he leans your foreheads together. “You're mine now, and I promise I’m never letting you go.”

Eddie moves away from Hawkins and opens a tattoo/coffee shop with Robin and Steve. There's a small apartment above their cozy shop that the four of them live in; Nancy moved away with them too but she's in college and only stays a couple nights a week, to Robin's dismay.
Steve runs the coffee side of things at the front of the shop, sometimes with the help of Robin, but she's in the process of learning how to become a professional piercer so she spends a lot of her days at another shop a few blocks down. Eddie's promised her that once she's fully trained, she can turn the spare back room into her piercing studio and decorate it however she likes.
Eddie spends all day tattooing. He loves it. He loves that people are willing to wear his art forever and he makes sure to take pictures of everything he does to add to the wall of tattoos (instgram isn't a thing yet, he has to show off his clients' tattoos somehow). The whole front wall of the shop is covered in polaroids of his art on people's bodies. It's a collage of his life's work. There's a few photos of Steve and Robin in there showing off their matching bff tattoos and one of Steve shyly standing there with no shirt on, the bat tattoos on his ribs on full display.
Eddie isn't supposed to have favourites, he's supposed to love and appreciate all his works of art equally, but that one is secretly his favourite. He runs his fingers over the ink on Steve's ribs every night.
They got a surprise visitor in 1990; Will Byers. Normally, the kids ring in advance to let them know they're coming so that they can organise the spare room upstairs and save a booth in the cafe for them to sit and chat to Steve while he works. But Will came unannounced and he looks oddly nervous standing in front of Eddie's desk in the back of the shop with a folder clutched to his chest.
"What can I do for you, baby Byers?" Eddie's wearing his thick rimmed glasses and organising paperwork as it's the one day he doesn't take clients. But if Will's come in for a tattoo, then he'd drop everything and set up. He's been waiting for the day the kids come in and ask for a tattoo from him.
"Uhm, I'm sorry I didn't call first -"
"Psh, it's fine. You're always welcome here." Eddie says with a wave of his ring clad hand. Will eyes the fresh ink on the top of his hand, and Eddie grins. "Are you here for a tattoo?"
Will looks over his shoulder at Steve, who had spoken to Will quietly when he first came in, and he is met with an encouraging nod from the older man. Steve makes a shooing motion with his hand as if to say, 'Go on. You can do it.'
Eddie waits patiently and watches closely as Will sets the folder in his arms down on the desk. "I was actually wondering if you were looking for an apprentice. I-I want to be a tattoo artist like you."
Steve watches anxiously from behind the coffee counter as Eddie flicks through Will's portfolio without saying anything. He's the one that encouraged Will to bring his art in and if Eddie said no, which Steve doubts, Steve would feel so bad. He'd even paid for Will's bus tickets because the kid still doesn't know how to drive.
Eddie gently closes the folder and levels Will with a blank stare, "You're hired." And then he breaks out into the biggest smile ever and runs around his desk to crush a very stunned Will into a hug. "How long can you stay? I've always wanted an apprentice! Ah! I have so much to show you!"
All the nervousness and tension in Will's body disappears and he hugs Eddie back just as tight. He meets Steve's gaze over Eddie's shoulder and feels like crying when he sees the proud smile on his former babysitters face. He wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Steve's encouragement. He'd stayed on the phone to Will the night before for hours comforting him and reassuring him it'd all be fine.
And it is fine, it's more than fine.
They turn the spare room upstairs into a bedroom for Will; they no longer need the extra room for Nancy as her and Robin have finally sorted their shit out and spend nearly every night together. Steve sometimes has to bang on their shared wall to tell them to stop giggling so loud.
By the end of the year, nearly everyone in the party has made their way through the doors of the shop to get a tattoo from both Eddie and Will. Steve's also been training Mike in the coffee shop because, "If you're gonna be in here all day, you may as well help out."
The photo collage is now overflowing with new photos from both Eddie and Will, who has been dubbed Eddie's successor.

Right where you left me.
Tumblr media
•WARNINGS: Angst. Situationship. May trigger people with abandonment issues or that have intimacy problems. Not technically cheating, but it may be triggering. Anakin's a douche bag.
Pairing: au!Anakin Skywalker x you!reader.
Summary: Anakin decides to pursue things outside of your relationship, breaking your heart in the process.
Word count: 1.7k.
A/N: NOT PROOFREAD, english is my second language, so please be gentle. If there are any mistakes, pls let me know in private so I can correct them, thanks :) Also I have a serious issue between differentiating “in” and “on” situations, so bare with me lmao.
☽⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯✳⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯✺⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯✳⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯☾
You ran into the coffee shop, in a hurry, which is a normal state for you and your continuous tardiness. “Fuck.” You muttered under your breath as you forced the door open with unnecessary strength.
Anakin must’ve been waiting for half an hour now.
On your tippy toes, you scanned the room, looking for the golden curls to stand out from a booth.
Bingo.
Trying to hide your excitement, you rushed to the table where your -relatively- new thing was waiting for you. You cursed your bag for making so much noise and told yourself off for packing so much shit. Maybe there was no need to bring all the stuff with you, but you couldn’t help yourself in your excitement to show Anakin all of the activities you had planned for you two and the remaining part of the summer.
“Hey.” You whispered loud enough for him to listen to you, but your shortness of breath didn’t go unnoticed by him. He gave you a toothless smile as you sat down in front of him. “I’m sorry I’m late, I was at work and my manager-” You didn’t finish the sentence, instead, your face let him know everything he needed.
“Don’t sweat. I haven’t waited long. Five minutes to be exact.” He checked his phone carelessly.
Oh.
“Training ran long?” You hoped.
“Oh, no, just ran a little late.” He shrugged his shoulders. Like it was of no importance.
At least you felt ashamed for being late. He didn’t seem to carry the same guilt.
Sometimes Anakin did this thing that stung your heart a little. His number one priority had always been him. And when you agreed to try things with him, you knew that was implied in the contract. Part of you had been hoping that you were going to be the reason that changed.
So far, you had failed in your mission.
“Oh, right.” You tried to fake a smile.
“And how’s life outside of work, baby?”
And just like that, your heart felt a little lighter and spark returned to your face. Especially when he reached out to hold your hand and play with your fingers. Especially when he used that nickname that you loved and you hadn’t heard in a while from his lips.
“It’s fine. My summer classes are always boring.” You rolled your eyes, chuckling at the end because he knew how much you hated to take extra courses.
“I told you to give yourself some time off in the summer.” He raised his eyebrow.
“I know, I know…” You huffed. “Actually, I’ve been working on that.” You smiled, turning to your bag and taking some of the things you packed.
Tickets for one of your favorite movies, that he insisted he wanted to watch with you. It made you smile so hard when he had proposed that plan, given that he was aware how much that franchise meant to you.
You also took out some coins for the local fair, the one you two had walked by and promised to do that as your next date.
The brand new control for your gaming console you had just bought to join him in video games because he said he wanted to share that without you. He seemed pretty excited to do that as an activity together and he even listed all of the games you might like.
And right when you were about to take the keys of your summer house out, to hint him that you were ready to take the next step in your relationship, he stopped you.
Anything intimate always made you nervous, even when you two were in the middle of it. It was a very vulnerable space for you and Anakin was your first in many things. It was normal for you to still be adapting to it.
But you wanted to try. For you.
For him.
As a more experienced person than you, Anakin had needs. Needs that you sometimes failed to meet. That even though he was patient, you could feel how your lack of confidence sometimes bugged him. Not in an explicit manner, just… the occasional huff when he tried something experimental in bed or when you started to psych yourself out of the make out session.
Any other person would have already left, but Anakin was your friend first and he was well aware of your uptight personality way before the two of you agreed to be friends with benefits. He knew what he was getting into and he was actually glad to help you experiment with that part of yourself you normally hid.
So your demonstration of being an organized and planning psycho was nothing new to him.
“Hey, hey…” He slowed you down, barely gazing the things on the table and fixing his eyes on yours. “Before you get started, I wanted to talk to you.”
His serious tone alerted you. But you weren’t surprised. Something inside of you had been alerting you all weekend. You thought it was your well-known anxiety. However, this felt unusual. Like his habitual ghosting and lack of response for the past few days meant different things this time.
“Sure.” You took a deep breath, trying to make it not so obvious. “Go ahead.” You nodded with a little smile trying to appear serene.
“So, sorry for not replying to your texts this weekend. I was out in nature, thinking and connecting, you know?” He tilted his head, his eyes looking for some compassion out of you.
“Yeah, yeah, of course.” You rushed the words when the silence dipped between you two, part of it your fault because you were too worried with your sinking heart.
You could understand a little impromptu retreat, you only wished it wasn’t right after you did some pretty intimate stuff back at your house. That last day you two crossed more boundaries than ever before. And even though you highly enjoyed it, his absence after that had you feeling nauseous, making you overthink and regret your decision of not giving him your virginity right in that opportunity. Maybe he would have shown more interest if you would have-
“So…Uhm… I think we should stop hanging out.”
Your heart was down by your feet when he pronounced those words. You tried with all your soul to control your trembling hands that lied in between his palms so he didn’t notice how he was ripping you apart. Your irregular breath threatened to put you on blast but you managed to keep it on the low.
“It’s not about you, seriously. I love hanging out with you and spending time with you, among other stuff.” He chuckled lightly, but instead of following his action, you released the breath you were holding. “But I’ve been talking to this girl and I just want to make sure that everything is working out with her. Emotionally.”
The sting in your eyes only grew bigger as you realized how embarrassing and heart shattering this moment was for you. Your cheeks felt hot and tight, something you tried hard to disguise with a breezy exterior.
Like a flash, you remembered the day both of you talked about the rules of your agreement. You kicked yourself mentally when you reminisced of the moment where both of you agreed to let the other one know if they wanted to pursue something with someone else. You had said yes, in the expectation that his constant checking in on you and daily talks was enough proof of interest. Meaning that he would not be looking outside of your “situationship” .
And you agreed, because that was your case. You were interested enough.
“You let me know if you want to see another guy, okay?”
You could almost laugh at such stupid idea. Didn’t he know?
“I think it’s better if we stop talking, so I can figure out things with her.” He scrunched his nose, like he was running out of words.
But how many words do you actually need to let someone know you don’t want them? He didn’t need much more. You’ve gotten the message.
“It’s nothing definitive, but yeah… Let me know if you have any questions.” He gave you a side smile, still fidgeting with your frozen-in-place fingers.
That took you out of the slow motion trance you were in.
“Y-yeah, okay.” You took your hands out of his quickly, blinking quickly into realization. You started to rush everything back in your purse, screaming the word “Stupid!” over and over again in your head while you carried on with a calm expression. “Do not worry about me. No questions on my part. Thanks for letting me know.”
I guess.
“Totally agree with not talking anymore.” You finally stopped for a second after pushing all of the items on your tote bag. He seemed to be analyzing your expression in search of any sign of real approval, because your shy and cold body language wasn’t reassuring him. So you put on your bravest face and forced a smile. “I hope everything turns out great with her.”
Speaking those words felt like hot iron was passing through your throat.
He gave you an honest smile and got up, taking his jacket with him. “Thank you. And thanks for understanding.”
You stayed frozen in place, your purse on your lap with your hands clutching it so hard you could feel your nails through the fabric. You limited yourself to nodding quietly and letting the side of your mouth curve slightly up.
“I’m sorry I can’t stay-” He began explaining his sudden escape.
“Don’t be. Don’t worry about me. ” You dismissed. “I’ll just stay and have lunch.” You took the menu and fixed your gaze on the listed items, anything that wouldn’t be his eyes.
He excused himself off the table politely, leaving you all alone and speechless. You glued your eyes to his back until he exited through the door, begging silently that he would turn around and say something else. Something that would pull you back into his life.
It seemed like that wasn’t his plan.
“I know I shouldn’t look for you for sexual stuff, but can I contact you for friend stuff?”
The text arrived that Saturday at 1am, 5 days later, erasing any progress you had done.
The day of his usual drunken nights.
Right around the time he used to get bored and there wasn't anything left to smoke.
Exactly at the time he would always contact you.
And you?
You were still at the restaurant. Unable to move.
Every day since that day.
Right where he left you.

ᡣ𐭩 THAT A WOMAN LIKE THAT WAS REALLY INTO ME ᡣ𐭩
[•~LONER!MEGUMI X POPULARGIRL!READER FLUFF~•]ᯓ ᡣ𐭩
[•~synopsis: turns out working with the pretty loner boy isn't that bad~•]ᯓ ᡣ𐭩
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"sorry y/n, we can only work in groups of 2. and me and nobara kinda already decided we were gonna work together..." yuji explains, nervously fiddling with his jacket zipper. you sigh loudly, obviously disappointed your two best friends were paired up together. "it's fine... I'll work with someone else..." you say, looking around the room.
it wasn't like you didn't have any friends, quite the opposite actually. you maintained decent friendships with mostly everybody in the classroom, casually saying hi to them occasionally or making small talk. but the one thing you realized was that everybody already had their own partners. everyone had their own groups and cliches. and for first time since forever, you felt like loner kid.
you were very well known at the school, everybody knew who you were. positively and negatively everyone knew you. and most of the students loved you. you were really kind and sweet and didn't mind standing up for some. but that didn't mean you knew everybody.
as you search the classroom for a partner you notice one person who wasn't in a group, -megumi fushiguro. you felt a rush of adrenaline through your veins. for starters, it was hard to talk to megumi, heck you didn't even know he could talk. he never really spoke to anybody at the school, and he usually kept to himself. so it was hard for you to introduce yourself to him, since you couldn't tell how he'd respond.
you nervously walk over to him, which was odd for you. usually you were a social expert. you never had anxiety talking to anyone, but something about megumi made you so nervous and scared. you sit right next to him, he looks over at you, somewhat confused. you clear your throat before speaking, "hey I'm Y/N, and I don't have a partner so I was wondering if you wanted to be partners with me?" you ask nervously. you probably stuttered about 12 times in that whole sentence.
the strong scent of his cologne traps your nose as he turns to face you fully, he responds with a "sure.." his voice was deep and quiet, this was probably the first time you've ever heard him speak to you before. you smile warmly at him and pull your phone out "great! so can I get your number so we can talk about it?" you ask, voice smooth and sweet.
Tumblr media
you and megumi both agreed to meet up at a local coffee shop to start the project, you were so excited. you weren't too sure why either, but you wanted to make sure you looked your best for him. so you made sure to put on the best outfit you had, and perfect your makeup. you walk into the coffee shop, and you notice megumi in a booth in a corner.
you join him, humming a warm "hey!!" he responds with a small quiet 'hi' and you two begin to work. you noticed megumi wasn't wearing his usual black hoodie, no instead he had on a black shirt with some grey sweats. you wouldn't deny that he looked really good in them. but you had to focus right now.
as you two began to work, researching topics and facts you guys began to talk. usually you would start the conversations but you didn't mind. you found out so much about him. he seemed to be a basic guy, but he was far from it. megumi was actually really smart and funny. making you laugh a couple times. he loved anime and sports.
megumi wasn't so quick to open up to strangers though. usually he would shut them down quickly, responding to any of their questions with limited words. but you, it was different. ever since you sat next to him yesterday, you were the only one in his mind. he couldn't eat sleep or do anything without thinking about you. you were the only person he really wanted to talk to.
but megumi wasn't the only who was heads over heel, you simply couldn't function without thinking about him. ever since that project, megumi was all that you could think about. and everybody could notice.
Tumblr media
"y/n? hellooo...?" nobara calls out, waving a hand in front of your face, you quickly snap out of your daydream. "huh?? oh sorry what was going on??" you reply frantically. yuji laughs and Nobara sighs loudly. "gosh, y/n what's gotten into you lately??" she asks "you're always so spaced out it's kinda weird " yuji adds. your cheeks turn rosy pink and you look away shyly. "w-what do ya mean? I've been normal!' you exclaim, although your lie was far from convincing.
yuji giggles and whispers loudly into nobara's ear, loud enough where you could hear though. "bet it's that fushiguro kid!" he snickers. nobara laughs at his comment. you scoff "it's not him!!" you defend, your face now tomato red. "ohh sure... like you two weren't flirting with your eyes yesterday in science..." nobara replies sarcastically. "oh megumi! you're so handsome!! my honey bunny bear!!!" yuji mocks, pretending to be you. nobara adds on to the gag by replying in an obviously fake deep voice "I love you to sugar plum cupcake princess, mwah mwah mwah!!" she chuckles
yuji and nobara burst out laughing after a moment of staring at each other. you cover your face with your hands, completely done with their bullshit. it wasnt like you and megumi were a thing!? you guys were just friends and that's it. but a part of you wishes you were so much more. so much more than simple friends. wishing that instead of daydreaming about going on cute dates with him, holding his rough yet soft hands, and kissing those pink lips they could all just come to life...
and just as you thought this day could not get any worse, megumi approaches your table. you completely forgot you also had the same lunch period with him. you nervously look back up at him, he himself was a cherry red too. he definitely heard nobara and yuji's dumb comments. "hey y/n... can we talk in private?" he mumbles, hands fiddling with each other.
yuji and nobara share shocked looks with each other, jaws completely dropped. "um.. sure" you say warmly, your eyes twinkling at the sight of him, a rush of adrenaline overtaking you. you begin to get up from your seat to go follow megumi, so he could privately chat with you, but as you start to follow megumi nobara calls out loudly, "use protection guys!!!"
you take a deep breath, you were so going to slap the shit out of both of them when you were done. you and megumi stand out in the hallway, both extremely nervously. megumi loudly clears his throat before beginning his sentence, " y/n..." he mumbles
"yes megumi?..." you mutter. then suddenly megumi holds both of your hands together , his soft yet rough palms holding onto both of your dainty fingers. he looks right into your eyes, you could tell what he was about to say took him so much courage to say. both of your hearts raced, frantically beating. "y/n... I love you. I can't hide it anymore. ever since we've met, you've always been so special to me. something was so attractive about you I couldn't get enough of it. you're the prettiest kindest and the most caring girl I've ever met before... so please may I be yours?" megumi says, now really close to you, breath hitting the side of your neck.
the sight in front of you was so precious and appalling. and it all hit you so quickly. no way the quiet megumi fushiguro, the same guy who couldn't even mumble a single word in class just confessed his love for you. you were so taken back, your heart melting at his words. you grin warmly "of course-" you squeal, leaning in to giving him a kiss, only for him to do the same. his arms snaking around your waist swiftly, your arms racings around his neck. the whole scene seemed to play out just like a romance anime. it was like the world paused right there for the two of you.
"TOLD YA!!!" yuji squeals "give me my money now bitch" yuji demands, a cunning grin washing all over his face. nobara sighs "fine!" she scoffs handing the money over to yuji.

(part 1)(part 2)
gigolo!Eddie x fem!Reader
18+Only, mature content, intimacy smut, fingering, sweet!Eddie, gigolo!Steve, semi-public fingering, toxic mother, tooth-rotting sweetness, oral (m receiving), unprotected p in v, cum shot, alcohol consumption, self-deprecation, struggles with body image, reader wears a formal dress and heels, pet names, tiny drop of angst. Eddie is around 30 and reader is 29. wc: 5.8k
Summary: the gigolo who was paid to take your virginity now has his sights set on your heart, and you're ready to give it. A chapter of shenanigans, flirting, 90's wedding music (Eddie's got a crush and he's got it bad), ripped nylons, and coming into our own. Guest appearance by gigolo!Steve.
pls no minors beyond this point
You already hated everything about the flouncy, taffeta dress your mother picked out for you to wear, but you were emotionally too exhausted to fight her anymore.  Especially for an event you were already dreading.  Your shoulders bunched up at your ears at the thought of everyone there asking you what you were doing with your life, and when you planned to get married.  You wondered if Eddie could hold his own with all of the self-proclaimed “well-meaning” hyenas in your family.
You stood in the full length mirror upstairs in your childhood bedroom, wondering if Eddie would like the way you looked.  You closed your eyes to silently berate yourself for how you had behaved the night before.  The way you’d just bolted out of his place like he had done something wrong.  You actually waited all day for the phone to ring, so sure it would be him, letting you know he had to cancel—but the call never came.  You wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t show up to the venue, but if he did, you promised yourself that you would let yourself enjoy his company and not let your insecurities get the better of you for once in your life.
“Shit,” you cursed aloud, hoping no one mingling in the hall heard you, remembering you forgot to tell Eddie that he needed to be a mechanic when he met your mother.  A mechanic who owns his own shop nonetheless.  God, why did you do this to yourself.
Downstairs, you could hear the voices of your mom, your aunt, and your sister as they waited to make their way over to the winery where the wedding and reception would be taking place.  Your mom gasped when she saw you, but it wasn’t a good gasp; it was a horrified one.  She had you turn in a circle in front of everyone, announcing that she wished it covered your shoulders and asked why you looked so bloated—she told you to lay off the dairy for a week.  Your sister said you looked pretty, but it fell on damaged ears.
“When is your date getting here?” your mother asked as you were all gathering your things to leave.
“He’s meeting me at the venue,” you mumbled, grabbing your bag.
Everyone looked at you as if you’d just said you were moving to Mars.  Your aunt was the one who spoke up, eyeballing your mother.  “Why isn’t he picking you up?”
You stammered.  “He, um, well, he had to work and I wasn’t sure when we—”
Your sister, dressed in a tiny Kate Moss number, threw open the front door to take a step and stopped in her tracks.  “Hey, who the hell is that?”
You pushed past your mom to squeeze into the doorway next to her, confused, thinking maybe it was someone pulling up to the wrong house.
Leaning back against the passenger side of a classic Pontiac Firebird with a pair of aviator sunglasses on looking fine as hell in his all black suit and shirt, with his hands in his pockets, was Eddie.
—---
“I’m not asking for your advice, Steve, I’m just telling you how it is,” Eddie stirred the cream and sugar into his coffee and then sucked the spoon before setting it on the nearby napkin.  “I like her.”
Steve Harrington shifted in the red vinyl booth they were in at Maude’s Diner, and held up the large, laminated menu to look at the breakfast specials, a toothpick rolling between his lips, his wayfarer sunglasses on his head.
“She’s different,” Eddie continued.  “I can tell she doesn’t realize how attractive she is.  I just want to hold her, I can’t explain it.”
Steve’s face was hidden behind the menu, tongue moving the toothpick, concentrating as he spoke.  “I understand, man.”
“Wait,” Eddie hovered his brown coffee cup half way to his mouth.  “You do? I figured you’d tell me I was losing my shit.”
“Well, you are,” Steve put the menu flat on the table with an air whoosh that flew the ends of Eddie’s hair back over his denim battle vest.  “I mean, when the pussy is good, it can fuck any guy up.  Hell, I’ve been there.  Remember that chick who paid me to go with her for a week to the Florida Keys a few months ago? Damn, I thought she was the one, you know?”
Eddie finally took that sip of his coffee, licking his lips as he sat the cup back down, making a tent with his hand to twirl it in thoughtful circles on the Formica table.
Steve continued.  “I still think about her.  But she has a serious boyfriend now and all that,” he took his toothpick out and pointed at him with it.  “No girl wants to commit to guys in our profession.”
“Yeah, I know.” Eddie was biting the side of his fingernail off as he spoke, concentrating.  “But I don’t plan to do this forever.  As soon as I get Wayne out of the hole with his medical bills—”
“Aren’t you two handsome boys a sight for sore eyes?” It was Donna, their favorite waitress.  Her graying, dishwater blonde hair up in a bun and the red and white Maude’s apron tied in a bow at her back.  She hovered her pen over the order pad.  “What’ll it be? Lou is in the kitchen, he makes a mean steak and eggs.”
The boys gave her their orders, sprinkled with plenty of that sweet, gigolo charm, and Donna walked away with a spring in each step of her orthopedic shoes.
“Yeah but,” Steve continued after a sip of his orange juice and a smack of his lips.  “Why would you want to give this gig up so soon? Plenty of bitches in the sea, man.”
Eddie squinted across the table at him, fingers drumming the table.  He didn’t sound like Steve anymore, he sounded more like Billy, another one of their friends who dabbled in the trade.
“You know, you never used to be like this,” Eddie told him, sitting back flush against the squeaky vinyl.  There was an ashtray over by the salt n’ pepper shakers and he pulled it closer, tossing his pack of cigs next to it.
“Like what?” Steve blanched.  “A guy who likes money and pussy?”
“No,” Eddie crossed his arms over his chest, slotting his hands in his armpits.  “A guy who is so afraid of connection that he does everything he can to avoid it.”
Steve looked over his shoulder, as if to check to see if the food was coming, to avoid Eddie’s eyes.  “Yeah, well, people change.”
The steaming hot plates of food came a couple minutes later, and the boys dug in for a few thoughtful bites in silence, forks and knives slicing and shoveling.  A different waitress refilled Eddie’s coffee and he said, “thank you darlin’” as if he were a country western star.
Steve wiped his mouth with his napkin while Earth Angel by The Penguins played softly from the jukebox, a gray haze settling in the atmosphere from all of the other patrons who were smoking cigarettes around them. Outside on the street, a group of bikers on chrome beasts roared by.
“You’re lucky I was busy, or maybe Robin would have referred your girl to me that night,” Steve said around a mouthful of food.
For some reason, that comment set Eddie’s teeth on edge.  “Oh I think Robin knew exactly what she was doing when she referred her to me and not you.  But keep dreaming, playboy.”
There was a tension in the air as Eddie lit a smoke, and Steve had time to regret his snide remark.  “So, are you going to tell her how you feel when you see her tonight, or what?”
Eddie set the cig in the ashtray to smolder while he took another bite of food, chewing as he considered the question.  “I invited her to the house last night, asked her to stay, but she ran off so fast, I’m worried I scared her,” he took another drag and then tapped the ash, blowing smoke out the side of his mouth.  “But the sex dude, it’s just…mind blowing.  I haven’t had this kind of chemistry with someone in years, and I convinced myself she felt it too.”
“You gotta give the girl a break, man,” Steve offered, scratching his chest through his white tee and then combing his fingers through his hair a few times.  “She doesn’t know you’re for real, she probably thinks it’s all part of the act. I bet she thinks you’re gonna send her a bill for the whole weekend or something.”  Steve chuckled to himself but Eddie wasn’t laughing.
“I told her I never go down on clients, I told her it was special, but I don’t know, she didn’t seem to believe me.”
“Gigolos are notoriously good liars, man.  We have to be,” Steve perched his forearms on the table.  “I mean, I’ve lost count of how many clients I’ve said ‘I love you’ too just because I knew that’s what they needed to hear.”
Eddie’s eyes widened in shock. “You tell clients you love them?”
“Well,” Steve fussed.  “Sometimes I mean it, in the moment, you know?” His eyes went to the table as he wiped his hands off with the napkin.  “Sometimes I need it as much as they do.”
Eddie considered Steve’s words as Donna came to remove their plates.  “You should tell her,” Steve encouraged sincerely.  “Tell her that you like her and want to take her on a real date, and that you don’t want her to pay you for the wedding thing. If she likes you too, hopefully she can wrap her head around the fact that your dick is in a different babe a couple times a month.”
Eddie had already been thinking about this, and so he worked his jaw with a solemn face.  “What if she’s not interested in me in that way and I make her uncomfortable? It’s not very professional, and pretty creepy if you ask me.”
“It’s the risks we don’t take, man,” Steve shrugged. He moved his hands as he talked.  “Feel it out, don’t just bombard her with it.  See how the night goes. When the time is right, you’ll know.  Otherwise, you’ll get paid a decent amount for a solid gig, and you had some great sex, so it wasn’t a total loss.”
All the same, Steve’s words were only partially comforting because there was only one way Eddie wanted the evening to go.
—-----
Eddie smiled when he saw you, taking his sunglasses off as he pushed off the Firebird.  The collar of his shirt was unbuttoned a bit to show the guitar pick necklace he wore, and the suit was perfectly tailored to him, complete with a thin leather belt and silver buckle.  You mirrored his cheesy grin, filled with a rush of relief and excitement that no words could express.
“Wait,” your sister balked, eyes darting from you to him.  “Is that him? Is that your date?” As good of a person as your sister tried to be, she could not conceal her disbelief that someone like you could snag someone like Eddie.
You waved at him, bolting from the porch and down the steps, ignoring your mother’s voice as best you could as she called out to you.  “Where are you going? I thought you were coming with us? Tell him to come up so we can meet him.”
But, you only shouted over your shoulder.  “See you over there, mom!”
You trotted up to Eddie at the end of the sidewalk in your heels, almost tipping over, and he took your hand, his eyes sparkling as they darted over you.  “Wow, you look —”
“Please,” you whispered urgently, squeezing his thumb.  “Get me out of here as fast as you can, and we can talk on the way.”
“As you wish,” Eddie held the door open for you to slide in, scooping the frilly parts of your dress with you.  The women were all on the porch staring, mouths agape, and he gave them an open palm.  “Ladies. Looking very lovely today,” just as he slammed the metal door and jogged around to the driver’s side.
Eddie snapped his seatbelt across his lap.  “You look so damn good, almost got me hard right in front of your family.”
You shrank down in your seat so they couldn’t see you through the window and giggled at his shrill tone.  “Serves you right for showing up here when I said to meet me at the venue.”
Eddie revved the engine and pulled from the curb with speedy finesse, adjusting the lapel of his suit jacket.  “Went in to visit Robin at the coffee shop earlier today,” he started.  “Your friend Nellie was working and she mentioned you might need rescuing from your mother, so I took a shot.”
“What can I say,” you cleared your throat, eyes on the road.  “You’re good at your job.”
You noticed he still wore his chunky silver rings with his suit and you appreciated the way he always stayed true to his style.  It was hard for you to give compliments, only because you rarely received them, but you did your best.  “You look really handsome.  I’m happy to see you.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Eddie’s head turn to look at you, his voice low.  “It makes me happy to hear that.”
You chatted about horror movies for a bit, because you were quite the aficionado, and then when the Firebird came to stop at a traffic light, Eddie stretched across, planting his elbow on the console to present his lips to you, making a smooch noise.  “Kiss?”
He almost didn’t have to ask because your mouth was already on its way, eyelashes fluttering at the plump, warm welcome of their destination.  The light turned green but Eddie was still hovering close, gaze flicking to different areas of your face.
“What?” You asked, slightly paranoid.  “Is there something on my—?” You wiped your cheek and your mouth as if you expected to find a lipstick smudge or crumbs.
“You’re perfect,” he soothed.  “I just like looking at you, that’s all.”
But then the person behind you honked, and Eddie hit the gas, but also threw a dirty look in the rearview to whoever it was who dared to interrupt such a moment.
You rubbed your lips together, relishing the taste of him, a wild fluttering in your heart.
—-------
“So, I’m a mechanic, and I run my own garage,” Eddie came around to your side to open your door in the winery parking lot, running down the list of things he needed to remember.  “It’s actually not a far cry,” he assured you.  “I’ve been working on cars since I was a kid.”
You kissed him again when you took his arm, pinning your clutch under your other arm.  “I’d like to apologize in advance for my family,” you said glumly.  “They’ll probably ask you a bunch of personal questions, and you have my permission to tell them it’s none of their business.”
“Nah,” Eddie nudged you. “I want them to like me.”
You could see the stucco building ahead with a big white gazebo set up in front of lines of white chairs in the garden next to a pond that glimmered in the early evening sun.
Eddie took the lead in more ways than one, and you were so grateful. You’d never felt so protected and sure of yourself in your entire life.  He had this way of talking to people like he’d known them for ages, disarming them and charming them in a way that was unfamiliar to you.  The usher sat Eddie on the aisle of the row you were in while your mother was next to you, and that was when you made the formal introductions.
Your mom thrust her arm across you to shake his hand. “It’s so rude of my daughter to not tell us more about you.  How old are you? How much money does a mechanic make? How long have you two known each other?”
Your eyes glazed over as you wished to god the ceremony would just start already so she could stop talking, but Eddie handled it with such grace and ease.  He even offered to switch seats with you so that he could talk to your mother more, mostly just to give you a break from her, and as you stood up to let him scoot into the middle, pulling him in for another kiss to let him know how much you appreciated it.
The wedding itself was lovely, your cousin cried and looked very much in love.  Eddie squeezed your hand when he heard you sniffle, passing you a blue and white handkerchief from his back pocket. You had this passing thought that he didn’t have a single flaw, but then you remembered what he did for a living, and the realization that he wasn’t perfect comforted you.
You started drinking as soon as time would allow, clinking your wine glass against Eddie’s beer, taking a few generous swallows on the way to the dining room.  Your mother sat across the round table from the two of you, so Eddie finally had a break from her, but now he had one of your aunts to deal with.  She was already tipsy, though, so she just kept telling him that he would’ve been her type back when she was his age.  Eddie pretended to be flattered, at least you thought he was pretending? The wedding colors were pink and lime green, and you moved the floral centerpiece a few inches to the right so your mother couldn’t stare at you.
By the time the main course was being served, you and Eddie could not keep your hands off of each other.  He’d had his hand on your knee under the table the whole time, but as he got bolder, his fingers dipped in under your dress, dragging along your inner thigh, until his knuckle was moving at your slit.  Your breath hitched and you squirmed, making him pull his hand away, but you caught his wrist to let him know not to stop.
Your nylons and underwear were creating a barrier that you desperately wanted to be rid of to give him full access. You spread your knees open as far as you could without touching your neighbor, inviting him deeper.  Your panties were soaked by the time he pulled away to use both hands to cut his steak, and then he choked on his bite when your hand slipped under the curtain of the chartreuse tablecloth to palm his cock through his pants.  He was hard, and it made your hole clench around nothing where you sat, staring across the room at where the bride and groom sat with their party, offering a tight, distant smile.
Normally, being so bold was not your style. But he was, indeed, yours for the night, wasn’t he? He’d signed off on this, and he’d been so damn good to you all night, your body ached for him. After the lights dimmed and the DJ called the bride and groom to the floor for the first dance, you stood up and took him by the elbow, urging him to join you for a slow dance to You Were Meant For Me by Jewel.  His cloth napkin fell from his lap to the ground when he stood, and like a gentleman, he had to bend over to pick it up first and set it on his chair, excusing himself to the others.
“I was planning on saving my dancing energy for Slayer,” Eddie said, trapping you in his arms, flush to his chest, feet carrying you in a slow circle.  Your cheek was at his shoulder, your nose inhaling the woodsy scent of his shampoo.
“We can start the mosh pit,” you assured, to which he tightened his arm around you.  You planted a kiss on his throat above his collar and Eddie closed his eyes, remembering Steve’s advice and feeling like the opportunity was approaching.
Halfway through the song, there was a tap at your shoulder and Eddie stiffened.
“I thought that was you, Eddie,” a female voice cooed.  “Fancy meeting you here.”
You turned to see a beautiful blonde woman with striking green eyes, pin straight hair down past her shoulders, and a serious rack pushed up in her slim, turquoise dress giving Eddie the hungriest eyes you’d ever seen.  She was older, 40’s maybe, and your attention flicked from him to her, taking note of how uncomfortable he suddenly was, locking his palm to your lower back so you wouldn’t go anywhere.
With deep reluctance, Eddie introduced the two of you, and the woman winked, whispering, “I’m one of his clients, too.”
Your blood ran cold.
You had no idea who this woman was, possibly from the groom’s side of the family, but your mind raced to figure it out, the need to run screaming out of the building itching in your veins.  Your worst fear had come true: someone knew your secret and you’d soon be outed as paying a gigolo to be your date.
“Wait,” Eddie snatched you close as you tried to walk away.  He took your hand, nodding his head in your direction.  “This is my, um, girlfriend.”
“Oh?” The woman was painfully shocked and confused.  “Does this mean you’re no longer offering your...services? I was going to see if you were available to go to Chicago with me next month.”
Eddie leaned toward her, trying to whisper.  “I’ll refer you to Steve or Billy, but later, okay? Not here.”
“Oh of course, of course,” she winked again, almost as if she had a tick.  She squeezed your arm as she went by, her eyes on Eddie.  “You’re a lucky girl. He’s the best.”
The Jewel song ended, replaced by Unbelievable by EMF and you freed yourself from Eddie’s grasp to bolt out of the main dining room, pushing through groups of people and dodging tables.  Eddie was on your heels, jogging up just as you went around the corner, clutching your stomach.
“Hey,” he touched your arm, tilting his head to look in your eyes, his hair falling off his shoulder.  “I’m really sorry…about that, and for the girlfriend thing.  I just didn’t want her to think that—”
“That I’m paying you to be here with me?” Your words came out a bit louder than you’d meant them to and a couple walking into the party snapped their heads in your direction. “Why not, it’s the truth.”
“Come here,” he took your hand, pulling you behind him, checking around for a place you could talk privately.  The restrooms were busy with people in and out, one door was locked, but the door at the other side of the reception area opened into a living room with a fireplace, a master bathroom, and a bunch of makeup, champagne, and clothes everywhere that you assumed belonged to the bride and her friends.
Eddie called out to make sure no one else was in there, and then he locked the door behind him.  Your anxiety was through the roof, but you’d learned fairly recently that there was one thing that could cure it.
“Listen I—” Eddie closed in on you, wanting to explain, but you met him with a different type of urgency, clutching the front of his shirt and pulling his mouth to yours.
“Please fuck me,” you begged.  “That’s what I want right now.”
“But I want to make sure you—”
“Please, Eddie,” you whined, running your fingers along the outline of his cock.  You were possessed, and Eddie didn’t mind it.  He was caught off guard, sure, but he was quick to sit down on the couch and pull you with him, spinning you around so that you were in his lap, back flush to his chest, facing the unlit fireplace.
You scrambled to pull the taffeta of your dress up, pooling it up at your waist, and Eddie’s hand slid down to find the heat between your legs.  You arched your head back and his lips tickled the shell of your ear.  “Are you my eager girl?”
You whimpered, nodding, too impatient to properly take your nylons off, so you tugged at the material, slashing them open at the crease in your thigh with a few rips, exposing the tell-tale wet spot on your underwear, and Eddie’s hand dove right for it.  Rolling your body, you turned your head to meet his kiss while the pads of his fingers unraveled you, pushing the material aside to groan at what he found there. You rode your ass up and down on his cock, feeling it grow beneath you.
He hissed a few dirty things in your ear, and you spun around to drop to your knees on the floor between his legs, working frantically at his belt and zipper to free his now throbbing length.
“Fuck, baby,” Eddie hissed, but then you yanked his boxers down, and your mouth found the soft underside of his tip, glistening already, and sucked it in, twirling your tongue.  His head rolled on the back of the couch as you worked your hand and mouth down a few times, saliva running down your fingers and to his patch of hair at the base.  You licked the tip and kissed it, and then wrapped your lips around it again.
Wannabe by Spice Girls could be heard on the other side of the building as all the girls on the dance floor screamed.  Eddie’s cock popped out of your mouth when he pulled your head up to kiss you, urging your back flat to the floor, and then you were coaxing him on top, bending your knees up and spreading your legs wide, opening yourself for him.
Was this the moment? Eddie wondered, fingering your underwear to the side, sliding the tip of his length up and down your slit, while you bit your lip and bucked your hips, greedy for it.
“Hey, I need to say something,” he braced one hand by your shoulder, finding your eyes.
“Right now?” You breathed, your hole pulsing, nearly sucking him in.
“It’s important,” and he emphasized it by slapping your pussy with his thick cock, watching the way your face lit up at the impact.  “I really like you.”
You swallowed hard, not prepared for such sincerity.  “I like you, too,” you managed.
Eddie sat back on his heels, pinning your legs on either side of him, fingers spread out on your thighs, chocolate eyes flicking around your face.  “I don’t want you to pay me for tonight.  And I want to take you out again, after this.  I want you to get to know me because this isn’t who I am.”
Something in his tone suggested that he anticipated a rejection, but you just frowned curiously.  “Yeah, okay.  I’d like that too.”
“Really?” Eddie balked, thrusting so that his tip tapped your entrance, making your mouth seize open.
“Yes, really,” you scooted your hips toward him.  “Please fuck me now?”
Eddie fell forward, bracing his forearm by your head, tips of his hair grazing your cheek while his cock sank in, making you both curse.  “Goddamn,” he gasped, tongue parting your lips, his entire body trembling.  “To feel you with my skin is everything.”
He worked your clit with his thumb and after all the build up, it wasn't long before you were already on the verge.
“Babybabybaby…fuck,” you cried out, slamming your pelvis up to meet him.
“God I love the way you feel,” Eddie grunted, pausing for a second so he wouldn’t cum too fast, but then you were chanting his name, warm wet walls milking him as the orgasm rolled through you, and he was barely able to pull out in time.  He sat back to work the exploding head with a few hand pumps, ropes of hot cum shooting onto the shredded material of your ripped nylons, shivering and moaning as he did so.
That was when the door on the other side of the room, the one you forgot to lock, flew open to the sound of women chattering.  You’d heard the voices getting closer, but in the heat of the moment, hadn’t planned on there being a second entrance.  You tilted your head back, chin up, to give an upside-down greeting to the horrified faces of the bride, her mother, and a couple of the bridesmaids. The Macarena song blared loud enough to shake the foundation of the building.
With his dick still fisted in one hand, Eddie waved with the other.  “Hey, ladies, great party.”
—----
The two of you took off out of the building like a shot after you were discovered.  Racing across the pavement on bare feet, your shoes in one hand, and Eddie’s hand in the other, his open belt flapping loose at his hip.  His hair flying out behind him, as both of you did a poor job of containing the cries of amusement and squeals of unbridled joy.
Inside Eddie’s Firebird, you were both laughing so hard, there were tears rolling down your cheeks.  Eddie had the radio on, and the song The Flame by Cheap Trick was playing.
“Do it again,” you snorted.  “Make the face.”
And then, on cue, Eddie’s face contorted into the exact expression your aunt made when she walked in on the fornicating, his fists tight around the steering wheel.  Your cousin, and her two bridesmaids had chuckled, averting their gaze.  But your elderly aunt? You were sure she would never be the same, and probably tried to bleach her eyes out later.
“Oh god, that was so horrible,” you put your head back against the seat, your hands over your face, and then you slid them down to rest at your clavicle.  “But also, the best thing that could’ve ever happened.”  You never knew how good it would feel to rebel in that way.  Of course, your aunt was probably explaining it all to your mother at that very moment, and the two would speculate on your “mental issues” for the rest of the evening.  The beauty of it was, for the first time in your life, you really did not care.  There was something about the way Eddie looked at you and treated you that made you feel like you weren’t as damaged as your family made you out to be.  With Eddie at your side, you felt invincible; you felt free.
Eddie turned his head to the side to fix his gaze on you and put his hand out, palm up for you to take.  Thoughtfully, you matched up your palm with his and intertwined your fingers.  “You looked so beautiful tonight. I was really proud to be there with you.” He took a thoughtful pause and then: “So did you mean what you said earlier? Can I take you on a real date?”
Your cheeks exploded with heat, unable to maintain eye contact.  “Eddie, I really do like you, but it’s just—-”
You moved your jaw from side to side, stare fixed on the other cars parked in the lot.  “---I’m not sure how comfortable I’ll be knowing you’re sleeping with all of these other women.”
Eddie blew out a hard exhale, releasing your hand to fidget with a coin on the console.  “Yeah, I was afraid of that.  I don’t blame you, I’m not comfortable with it either.” He sat back to plant his hands at his knees.  His suit jacket was off, and his black shirt was unbuttoned further down his chest. “I want you to know that I never planned on doing this forever.  My uncle—uncle Wayne—his insurance is shit and he’s been paying out the nose for cancer treatments, so this is how I help him with that.  The jobs I’m skilled to do out in the real world could never pay this well.  Besides, it’s hard for me to be intimate with other people when I…when I have feelings for someone.”
You turned in your seat to look at him and brought your knee up, searching his profile.  “What if you end up having feelings for one of your clients? I think that would always worry me.”
He turned in his seat to face you, honey brown eyes dark and earnest.  “Listen, I understand your concern baby, but I’ve been doing this for almost 3 years now? I’ve never wanted someone the way I wanted you that first night.”
You let that sink in, your mind tripping over the “almost 3 years” part, trying to calculate how many sexual partners he’s had during that time. You reasoned that the sex worker profession was as old as time, and there were plenty of people out there who slept around a lot but didn’t get paid for it.  As a single man, and as handsome as he was, Eddie could've easily had sex with just as many women, and would you hold it against him then?
“I don’t want to scare you off,” his jaw muscles tightened.  “But I’ve been looking for a reason to get out of the gigolo trade, and I think I found it.”
“I’m going crazy
I’m losing sleep
I’m in too far
I’m in way too deep
Over you”
“What about this,” he reached out for your hand again.  “What if we keep it casual and get to know each other as friends until I get a new job, find another way to make a living,” his gaze was on your held hands, his thumb caressing yours.  “Would you wait for me?”
“I don’t know about that,” your words came out on an exhale.  Eddie closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable rejection.  “I don’t know if I could keep this casual, to be honest.  I think I already like you too much.”
“You’ll always be the one
You were the first
You’ll be the last”
His eyes shot open, and a smile hitched up one side of his mouth. “Yeah, I don’t think I could, either.”
You chuckled softly, and then chewed a bit at your bottom lip.  “This is very new territory for me, and I think we should take it one day at a time,” you reasoned.  “I don’t want my boyfriend to be having sex with other women, but I also don’t want to lose you.”
“Your boyfriend?” Eddie grinned, teasing you with a wiggle of his eyebrows.
You playfully tried to free your hand from his grasp, but he only snatched you closer, catching your cheek with his other hand.  He swept his thumb across your cheekbone and rubbed his nose along yours, barely skimming your lips with his.  “What do you say? You wanna be my girl?”
You covered his hand with yours, a happy sob hitching in your throat. “With all my heart.”

A/N: This adorable story has been very soothing for me to write, and even though the "official" story is finished, I already have some plans for blurbs and maybe a one shot down the road. My ask box is always open if there are certain scenarios you'd like to read more about when it comes to these two sweethearts. I'd also LOVE to do a gigolo!Steve version, but do not have immediate plans for it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who cared enough about this story to comment and reblog! it really is a big deal to us, your fic writers ❤️

I didn't have a taglist planned, but a few of you were really sweet about it so I hope you enjoy! @micheledawn1975 @emma77645 @battinsonwhore05 @magnificantmermaid @erinsingalong

A group project with Sara, Jace, and Aliandra was perfect. All three of you had chosen History of the First Men as an elective this term for that very reason. Professor Karstark was known for his heinous group project that ran the entire semester. The four of you were great friends already, so when Professor Karstark announced you’d be picking your own groups, your heart leaped with joy.
Until he mentioned needing groups of five.
You had no choice but to add another person to your tight-knit group. Luckily, Jace’s cousin was also in the class. You’d seen him around campus before, but Aemond Targaryen often kept to himself. When he wasn’t studying in the library he could be found keeping his frat boy elder brother out of trouble.
The Targaryens shared a house on King’s Ave; a notorious strip of off-campus housing for those attending Westeros University. All four siblings attended currently, Daeron just starting his freshman year. You’d thought it was cute that they all lived together, and you’d told Aemond as much upon first meeting him.
After spending time together on the project, you and Aemond became fast friends. He now knew your coffee order by heart, often bringing you a steaming cup before class. You’d camp out with him in the library, show him new music, order your favorite takeaway and binge shows together. And when you couldn’t do that together, you’d be texting about it, like you were right now.
You giggle at your phone, and Ali lifts her head from her computer screen.
You’d been in Jace’s apartment, waiting for him to return with coffee for your group to continue working on the project.
“Texting loverboy?” she teases, pulling her dark curls into a messy bun on top of her head.
Sara walks into the room at that moment, a bowl of popcorn in her hands, her lips parting in shock.
“What did I miss?” she cries, hurrying forward.
You place your phone down, rolling your eyes.
“Nothing! He’s just funny, that’s all,” you tell them, trying to ignore the blush you know is blooming on your cheeks. Maybe if you concentrate hard enough, it’ll go away.
“Nothing my ass,” Sara says with a smirk, “That boy is sooo into you.”
“Will you stop it,” you tell her, “We’re just friends.”
“Friends don’t look at friends the way Aemond looks at you,” Ali argues, as the door to the apartment opens.
You shush your two friends as Jace walks in, his younger brother Luke trailing behind him. Jace holds a tray of iced coffees in his hand, causing Sara to squeal and press a kiss to his cheek before taking one.
“Sorry I’m late, had to pick Luke up from practice,” Jace says, throwing his bag down on the floor.
“Sup ladies,” Luke says with a grin.
“You smell like a wet dog,” Sara accuses, wrinkling her nose.
“Lacrosse season, baby!” Luke says, holding his arms wide. You and Ali pretend to gag and he lowers them.
“You guys are mean,” he pouts, heading towards the bathroom.
“Did you pick Aemond up too?” you ask, curious where the silver-haired boy is. Ali mouths the word subtle to you and you stick your tongue out.
“Don’t think he’s coming,” Luke calls from the bathroom, “Looked pretty busy on his date!”
It’s like someone slapped you. Ali meets your eyes, her own wide with shock.
“Date?” you ask, mouth suddenly very dry.
“We don’t know-” Jace begins, but Luke cuts him off, running shirtless out of the bathroom.
“He was at Stormy’s,” Luke begins, referring to the local coffee shop, “In a corner booth. You don’t sit with just anyone in a corner booth.”
“Okay Mr. Never-Had-A-Girlfriend,” Jace scoffs, sitting on the couch.
“I know what’s up!” Luke insists, though the tips of his ears turn red, “You sit in the back corner, that way if you want to put your hand-”
“Ew ew ew!” Sara says, covering her ears as she sits next to Jace, “Future brother-in-law, I’m begging you to shut up!”
“I know what’s up!” Luke insists, again, “I do!”
“Go shower!” Jace tells him, tossing a pillow at him. Luke mumbles something under his breath before heading back down the hall toward the bathroom.
“Who was he with?” Ali asks, sparing you the embarrassment of asking. Jace is clueless about your innocent little crush.
“Maris Baratheon,” Jace tells you all.
Shit. Maris Baratheon makes total sense. Another girl in your year who takes her studies very seriously, much like Aemond. It doesn’t ease your nerves knowing she’s stunning as well. Long dark curls, and sapphire blue eyes. It would only make sense that they get together.
“There’s a party at the soccer house tomorrow night,” Jace says, suddenly changing the subject, “I think we should go.”
“I’m in,” you answer, causing Ali and Sara to exchange a look.
Tumblr media
“Jacey boy!” Aegon says, throwing an arm around his nephew, “So glad you could make it.”
Jace pulls Aegon’s arm off of him as you enter the soccer house. The music is blasting through the speakers, some trashy remix of No Hands. Aegon hands you a cup which Sara snatches from your hands immediately.
“First rule of uni, don’t accept a drink from Egg,” Sara says with a sneer. Aegon presses a hand to his chest pretending to be shocked.
“You’ve got me all wrong, love,” he teases, taking the cup back and taking a sip, “See? All clear.”
Sara takes it back, eying it suspiciously before taking a sip. You laugh and Aegon turns to you, a small smile on his face.
“My brother’s been waiting for you,” he tells you, fixing the backward baseball cap that rests on his head.
Your stomach flip-flops, though you try to ignore it. Aegon hands you another drink, which you sip gratefully.
“Oh yeah?” you ask nonchalantly, and Aegon nods.
“Haven’t seen you at the house in a while,” he says, as someone increases the volume of the music.
“What?” you call but Aegon waves you off, before disappearing into the crowd.
You take another sip from your drink, as Ali pulls you toward the center of the dancefloor. You don’t see Aemond, though Aegon said he must be here. You decide to spend some time dancing, trying to calm your nerves. You shouldn’t be feeling this way anyhow. Aemond is your friend.
Just friends.
You spot him across the room after a few songs play. He’s leaning against the doorframe talking to Cregan Stark. You can’t help the butterflies that fill your belly as he raises his eyes to meet yours. A soft smile appears on his handsome face at the sight of you, and the hair on the back of your neck stands up with attention. He looks good, though it's hard not to with that bone structure of his. Those pouty lips.
“I’m going to go say hi!” you tell Ali, nodding towards Aemond.
She gives you a look of warning.
“You sure?” she asks and you nod, “Okay girl, I’ll be here!”
You move through the crowd of people making your way toward him. You smile politely at Cregan before hugging Aemond.
“Hey Aem,” you say, the scent of his cologne making you dizzy as you press your face against his firm chest.
“Hey,” he answers, the vibrations from his chest making you close your eyes.
You wish you could just curl up with him here, leave the party and watch one of your shows together. You open your eyes. Can’t think like that, not if he’s seeing Maris.
You pull away from him a little too quickly, the beer in your cup sloshing out the sides and onto your hand. You force a smile on your face.
“Where’s Maris?” you ask, making a point to look around.
“What?” Aemond asks with a chuckle.
“Maris! Your date!” you yell over the music.
Aemond pouts, tilting his head to the side, confused at what you’ve just said.
“Maris is my mate!” Aemond calls over the pounding sound of the bass.
You can barely hear him above the loud house music, the floor vibrates with how loud it is. The liquid in the red solo cup you hold wobblies, waves rippling across the surface. It’s so loud, you confuse about what Aemond has said, though you’re watching his lips carefully.
“Maris is great!” is what you hear, causing your heart to drop slightly.
You force a smile on your face, nodding at him.
“I’m really happy for you two!” you yell back, taking a sip from the warming beer. Aemond’s eyebrows concave together in confusion and he shakes his head.
“Did you hear me?” he loudly asks, but of course, you can’t.
“What?” you yell, and Aemond sighs in frustration.
Suddenly, he wraps his fingers around your wrist, gently directing you down the hallway. You let him guide you, careful not to spill your drink as you trail behind him. You catch Sara’s eye from across the room and she purses her lips at you. Whenever she does that you can’t help but think of Florence Pugh.
He checks several doors until one to the bathroom opens, and pulls you inside with him. You enter the small space as he closes the door behind him. The music is muffled, making your ears ring as they adjust to the lower levels of sound.
Aemond stands in front of the door momentarily, before moving further into the bathroom, as though not to make you uncomfortable by blocking it with his tall frame. You lean against the sink as he places one hand on his hip, dragging the other through his pale hair.
“Why d’you think me and Maris are a thing?” he asks, faces scrunched in confusion.
You can feel your heart beating frantically in your chest, and you try to ignore the nausea that churns in your stomach, the sour taste that fills your mouth at the thought of their date.
“Um, Luke told me?” you tell him, as though it should be obvious, “Sorry if he put his foot in his mouth, but you were out in public! If you were trying to keep it on the low, you should’ve gone somewhere private.”
The corner of Aemond’s mouth ticks upwards into a slight smirk.
“On the low?” he asks, standing up a little straighter.
You place your cup on the edge of the sink.
“Well, it sounds like you were surprised I knew,” you tell him, feeling your face flush. You hope Aemond can’t tell, and if he can, that he simply thinks it's because of your drinking, not the feelings you’re holding back.
His eyes, blue and violet, roam your face, ceaselessly searching for any hint of jealousy or distaste. He’s been your friend for a while now, he can tell when you’re holding something in.
“Maris and I are just mates,” he tells you so you can hear him this time, “She’s been thinking of studying in Oldtown next term. She wanted some advice.”
Your lips part, shocked at what he’s saying before you feel the fire return to your cheeks with a vengeance. Fucking Luke, starting drama for no reason.
“Oh,” you say softly, curling your fingers against the lip of the counter, “Oh that makes sense.”
“Yeah, it does,” Aemond says, with a chuckle. He clears his throat suddenly, averting his eyes, “I um..sort of have a thing for someone else anyway.”
“Oh,” you repeat, “That’s cool.”
“But I’m kind of…nervous,” he admits, meeting your eyes once more, “I don’t want to ruin the friendship we have. But I can’t really ignore how I feel.”
You hold his gaze. He can’t be talking about you. Can he?
“What should I do?” Aemond asks, “What do you think?”
“I think…well..” you nervously wet your lips, “I think….you should tell her.”
Aemond takes a step closer, placing one hand on the sink next to yours. You can feel the heat radiating off his body, his tall frame leaning towards you.
“Yeah?” he says in a gruff voice, “You really think so?”
You nod, and he brings his opposite hand to rest on the counter on the other side of you, caging you against it with his lean form. He’s so close you can almost feel his body pressing against you. You can smell his cologne, as he leans his face closer to your height.
“I think you might be pleasantly surprised,” you tell him.
Aemond’s eyes widen slightly before they fall to your lips. Pushing up onto your tiptoes, you bring your lips to his, kissing him gently. You pull away for a moment, gauging his reaction, but Aemond chases your lips with his own, capturing them in another kiss. His hands slide along the counter, finding purchase on your hips. He lets them rest there a moment, squeezing your hip bones before lifting underneath your ass to place you on the counter.
You wrap your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss with a slight turn of your head as Aemond strokes the sides of your thighs. You can feel your arousal pooling in your underwear, and you clench your thighs together to no avail.
Aemond’s hands caress the skin of your hips that was exposed as your tank top rides up. His hands dance to your belt and you drop your hands to begin unbuckling it. Aemond’s eyes drop to your quickly working hands.
“Holy fuck… can I?” Aemond says between a kiss, “Can I touch you, please?”
“Yes, please, fuck,” you nearly beg while unbuttoning your jeans, “Please touch me Aemond.”
You slide the zipper down and feel Aemond’s hands on yours, hastily moving them out of the way. You wrap them around his neck as his slender fingers dip below the hem of the lacey thong you’d decided to wear. Sara has a very strict policy on party panties and demanded you wear your sexiest set.
“Just in case,” she’d told you with a wink.
You could kiss her, with the expression on Aemond’s face as he looks between your legs.
“Jesus fucking Christ,” he whimpers, the pads of his fingers rubbing circles around your clit.
You bite your lip, holding back a whimper of your own as he dips his fingers lower, gathering your arousal on his fingertips before going back to circling your clit.
“Fuck-” you cry out as he lowers his palm, slipping a finger inside your clenching hole. Aemond swallows your cry with a kiss, slipping his tongue into your mouth.
He experimentally curls the long digit against your walls, preening with the sounds this elicits from you, and the way you claw at the back of his neck. His cock is straining against the confines of his jeans, but he can’t find it in him to care at the moment; completely focused on your pleasure.
“You’ve no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this,” he murmurs against your lips, kissing you hungrily.
“Me too,” you whine, sucking on his lower lip.
Aemond pulls away slightly, a half smile decorating his face.
“How long?” he asks, a second finger teasing at your entrance ready to join the first. You buck your hips, desperate for him to fill you up.
“Since game night at Baela’s,” you gasp, as he sinks the second digit into your tight, wet heat.
“I remember. You’re such a sore loser,” Aemond teases, curling his fingers against the rough patch of your walls that has you seeing stars.
Your head lolls, tapping against the mirror before Aemond brings his free hand to rest on the back of your neck, propping your head up.
“I’ve liked you, ever since you met Vhagar,” he tells you, letting his hand trail from the back of your neck to your shoulder.
Warmth floods your chest at the memory. It was one of the first times you’d hung out with Aemond actually. You’d come to the house after class and met the grumpy old tabby cat. Aemond had been thoroughly impressed at how you were able to coax her from her hiding place under the sofa.
She’d only hissed at you once, before sniffing the tips of your fingers and rubbing her head against them.
Aemond brings his thumb to rest on your clit, circling the button in tandem with the thrusts of his fingers, tearing you from the memory and bringing you back to the present. The added clit stimulation has you clenching around his fingers, the small bathroom filling with the squelching sounds of your soaked pussy.
Your lower abdomen tenses, and you can feel the precipice of your orgasm creeping up on you, tingling up your spine.
“God you’re so tight,” Aemond moans, and you grab the hair at the nape of his neck, tugging harshly.
A whine leaves his lips as you do so, and you bring your lips to kiss his neck, sucking a purple lovebite onto the pale flesh. Aemond’s breathing is ragged as you do so, his fingers tugging at the spaghetti straps of your top, pulling it down to reveal your matching lace bralette. Aemond quickly works the front clip, letting your breasts spill free. Your nipples harden in the cool air.
He eyes them hungrily, as you pull away from kissing his neck, connecting your lips once more. Aemond’s hand moves to the side of your left breast, massaging the soft mound, just as someone knocks on the bathroom door. Aemond breaks away from your lips.
“Just a second!” Aemond yells, before latching his mouth to your tender nipple and suckling harshly.
Your fingers tangle in his hair, holding him against you as he swirls his hot tongue around the sensitive nub. Legs locked around his slender waist, you pull him closer to you, arching your back to press yourself harder against his mouth, against his fingers.
“Aemond?” Aegon’s voice calls from outside the bathroom. The door handle jiggles. “You bastard open up!”
Aemond releases your breast with a wet pop, dragging his lips up toward your neck to kiss the sensitive spot beneath your ear. His fingers never stop curling into you, the pads of his fingers dragging against your sweet spot while his thumb plays with your clit. He drags his teeth along your earlobe, biting down as Aegon knocks again.
“I have to piss!” Aegon yells, banging on the door causing it to shake on its hinges.
“He said just a second!” you snap, voice several pitches higher than normal as Aemond tugs harshly your slippery, wet nipple.
“The fuck?” Aegon’s angry tone turns to one of confusion, “Yo is that Y/N?”
Aemond’s fingers slow as he pulls away from your neck, his hand still gripping your breast. The actions cause your imminent orgasm to begin to fizzle out and you whine in annoyance. You were so close.
Aemond’s eyes meet yours, pupils dilated as yours must be. His jaw is slack, face flushed as Aegon laughs from outside the bathroom.
“I didn’t know you had it in you!” Aegon calls, “That’s my bro, finally getting the girl! Sara is going to lose her shit when she knows I found out first!”
You stifle a laugh, bringing your hand to cover your mouth at Aegon’s words. Aemond’s cheeks are red as he smiles bashfully, as though he’s not knuckle-deep in your pussy at the moment.
“Have fun you lovebirds, I’ll piss outside,” Aegon calls, giving a final rapid fire of knocking before presumably leaving the door.
“Do you think he’s really gone?” you ask through a giggle.
“Honestly, I don’t even care,” Aemond says, kissing you once more and resuming the movement of his fingers thrusting and curling in and out.
“Fuckfuckfuck!” you cry, as Aemond works you towards orgasm once more. Your legs shake around him and he brings his mouth to your opposite breast, lavishing it with the same attention he did the other.
“Take my fingers so fucking well,” he murmurs, kissing the top of your breast, “Bet you’ll take my cock perfectly.”
“Yes-fuck yes!” you cry, nails digging into his shoulder blades through the soft fabric of his t-shirt.
You can feel how hard he is, how big his cock is concealed under his jeans. Your mouth waters at the thought of it replacing his fingers, pussy tightly clenching around him. Aemond feels you tighten, a smug smile creeping onto his face.
“You like that idea? Want me to fill you with my cock?” he asks.
“Yes, please,” you whine, looking up at him through your lashes, “Please I need it so bad.”
“You’ll get it, pretty girl,” he promises, “Come for me, darling, that’s it.”
“Oh oh- oh!”
With a strangled cry your orgasm crashes over you as you clench around his fingers. A rush of arousal drips down his fingers and between your thighs as he fucks you through it, prolonging your pleasure. As you come down from your high, Aemond’s mouth is on yours in another passionate kiss. You moan into his mouth, whimpering at the overstimulation.
Your hands drop to his belt and he chuckles, placing kisses down your neck.
“Can we go back to mine?” he asks, as you attempt to do the first loop. You pause looking up at him.
“I’d love to,” you tell him, as he kisses you again.
You spend the next several minutes reclipping your bra and fixing yourselves before opening the door. Aegon nearly falls on top of you both as he tries to pretend he wasn’t listening. Aemond smacks him on the shoulder as he tries to run away.
“Couldn’t hear anything over this fucking music!” Aegon calls, as he smiles cheekily and disappears down the hall.
Covering your face with embarrassment, Aemond loops his arm around you, placing a kiss on top of your head and leading you out of the party.

The first time Enid Sinclair ever visited the Weathervane it was on a “double date” from hell.
Bianca’s relationship with Xavier was hanging on by a thread, she thought that maybe hanging out in a group setting would help mend some of the cracks in their relationship.
It didn’t really make sense to Enid, if a relationship was in trouble shouldn’t it be a conversation between the people in said relationship?
Anyways, Enid didn’t blame Bianca, she was scared and becoming desperate. Enid was going to be there to support her no matter what happened.
Even if that meant going on a double date with her ex, one of her best friends, and her friend’s boyfriend who she really disliked.
They walked into the small coffee shop, Ajax holding the door open for the rest of them.
“Thank you” Enid smiled
“All in a gentleman’s work” He grinned
Xavier settled into a booth in the corner and Bianca slid in beside him. It was almost awkward how they sat, everything about their body language tense and awkward.
Enid and Ajax mirrored them, but it was much more natural and relaxed. They were always better as friends, supporting and loving each other in a way that they could never seem to get right when they were trying to force a relationship.
Enid’s knee knocked against his and he grinned at her.
“How is rave’n planning going?” He asked her
“Stressful” Enid laughed, burying her face in her hands on the table. “There’s so much we still need to get done and so little time to do it”
“Did I tell you that the DJ finally got back to me?” Bianca asked
“Yeah?” Enid grinned, looking back up at her.
“Yeah” Bianca nodded with a teasing smile.
“And? What did he say?”
“Yes, he’s going to be there”
“Oh my god” Enid grabbed Bianca’s hand and squeezed in excitement “Why didn’t you tell me sooner!”
“I wanted to see your face” She smiled
“I am so excited” Enid said as she bounced in her seat
“Is he a big deal?” Ajax asked
“The biggest. He’s hoste-“ Enid stopped as a young woman began walking toward their table. She was dressed in all black and her dark hair tied in twin braids. She stopped to stand in front of their table and on her face was a look that said she couldn’t be more disinterested.
She was the most beautiful person Enid had ever seen. Her words were caught in her throat and her breath in her lungs.
“What are your orders?” The girl asked, her tone flat but her voice sounding like the sweetest honey.
“We haven’t had a chance to look at the menu yet” Bianca said kindly. The girl, Wednesday, said the name tag pinned to her dress, turned and walked away without another word. Bianca made a face, as if asking ‘can you believe that’?
Enid became painfully aware of herself. Staring at their waitress like a crazy person. She looked away quickly, grabbing her menu as a way to busy herself and not look as awkward as she felt.
Xavier didn’t have the same decency. Bianca scoffed and scooted even further away from him.
“Are you serious” She asked
“What?” Xavier asked, the first words he had said since they walked into the diner and it was to pretend as if he hadn’t been blatantly checking out their waitress while he was on a date.
“Oh my god, Xavier” Bianca scoffed, picking up her own menu, an attempt to hide just like Enid’s had been.
The silence was awkward, other customers around the room chatted and there was a sound of the coffee machines humming but everyone at this table with Enid promptly avoided speaking more. Xavier had taken his phone back out, at least he wasn’t staring anymore.
Enid had a hard time deciding what she wanted, they had so many things to choose from and Enid had always been bad at making choices. She sat the menu down and looked out the window, the sky was painted in a mural of pinks and purples and the moon was starting to peak over the horizon.
She took out her own phone to quickly snap a picture. It was beautiful, nowhere near as beautiful as the waitress.
Enid cursed herself. She felt like she was no better than Xavier, and since when had Enid even been attracted to girls?
Her eyes caught black hair again, the waitress, Wednesday if the name tag was anything to go by, was at a small table across the diner talking to the people who sat there. The unimpressed look never left her face, and honestly she was starting to look annoyed at the old woman who was speaking to her.
Enid looked down at the table, the wooden pattern of it suddenly incredibly interesting.
She realized that it made sense, being attracted to girls. It made more sense than Enid even wanted to think about right now.
The realization felt kind of freeing though. It was terrifying, but a piece of herself clicked into place.
Someone cleared their throat and Enid’s gaze snapped back up, right to Wednesday’s face. She had the darkest brown eyes rimmed with black eyeliner.
“Are we good?” Ajax asked
“Yeah” Bianca said, Enid nodded her head not trusting her voice to work and Xavier hummed.
“Okay. Ready?” Ajax asked, Wednesday blinked and he took that as an answer “I’ll take an americano and an breakfast sandwich on an english muffin”
“A cappuccino and a croissant” Bianca asked
“Another americano and a panini” Xavier said, which left it to be Enid’s turn. Wednesday hadn’t really looked at any of them, instead sort of looking into space as they spoke, but then Enid felt the girl’s eyes on her.
“Uhh” Enid smiled softly “An iced caramel latte with extra caramel and a blueberry muffin”
Wednesday didn’t respond verbally, but when Enid asked for extra caramel her eye’s crinkled slightly. That was the only sign that the girl had even been listening. She walked off again without a word, going behind the counter to probably get started on their things.
“She’s kind of scary, right?” Ajax asked with a quiet voice.
“I think it’s rude” Bianca said, was it bad that Enid found her endearing?
“She looks like the type of person who would enjoy witnessing a murder” He said
“Or committing one” Bianca added
“I’m sure she’s nice” Xavier said, Enid couldn’t help but glare. She hated he had been the one to say it. Bianca was quiet but Enid could tell she was furious.
“What were you saying earlier, about the DJ, Enid?” Ajax asked, his attempt to change the conversation was obvious.
“He’s just really popular” Enid said “And hard to book, we asked him like forever ago”
“Two months” Bianca clarified
“A long time to not be texted back” Enid argued, Ajax shook his head fondly.
“You’re crazy” He smiled
“I’m just really excited for this dance. It’s our first rave’n as senior’s and being in charge is so stressful. Figuring out the music and stuff took a lot off of my shoulders though, Bianca, thank you again”
“You’ve already thanked me countless times”
“Which is why I said again” Enid told her
“Well, you’re welcome” Bianca smiled “But really it wasn’t a big deal, if you need anymore help with anything just let me know”
“Okay. Are you going shopping with Yoko, Divina, and I next weekend?” Enid grinned
“I wouldn't miss it for anything” She nodded
“I have no idea what i’m going to wear yet” Ajax said
“A hoodie and pants that slightly match the theme?” Xavier asked, Ajax smiled and nodded.
“Like last year” He said
“And the year before that” Enid added, as she spoke Wednesday joined them again. A black tray in her hand, using the other hands to set things down.
“It’s hot” She said as she sat the muffin in front of Enid, even though she was holding it with her bare hand.
“Why are you touching it then?” Enid couldn’t help but ask.
“I’m not affected by such things” Wednesday said, her dark eyes meeting Enid’s, a spark in them that Enid hadn’t seen before. Was it mischief? Intrigue?
Enid wanted to know. She wanted to know everything about this strange girl.
Wednesday sat the last drink down and spun the tray around in her hands to hold it at her side. She went to walk away again, Bianca didn’t let her go very far.
“Are you not even going to ask if you got the order right, if we need anything else?” She asked
“I always get it right” Wednesday said, not even turning back to face them as she kept walking.
Bianca scoffed again, lifting her cup and blowing at the steam.

Things were different; weird.
It's been a few days since our time at the Airbnb and Noah's barely acknowledged what happened between us. And instead of avoiding me, he was always there. Before when I entered a room, he would find some excuse to leave, me doing the same. Now when I walk into a room or place he was in, he watches me with intense eyes. Not that I was complaining if I was being honest. But what happened between us still didn't excuse his previous attitude towards me. I'd done nothing to deserve his cold shoulder, and I planned to make sure he knew that if we continued this.
No, I rapidly shook my head. That was a one-time thing.
With a sigh, I kept my attention on finishing setting up the merch booth while the guys were on stage for a sound check. I bobbed my head along to the beat Folio smashed on his guitars, the opening to Artificial Suicide echoing loudly in the empty space. Thankfully, this venue had space for me to set up the booth in the main area so I could watch the show tonight.
As confusing as our relationship, if you could call it that, was. I still loved watching Bad Omens. They were electrifying on stage.
When Noah's voice came through the speakers, I cringed and turned on my heels to watch. He cleared his throat, the music halting before he threw his thumb in a circle showing that they started it from the top. They did and the same thing happened; Noah's voice cracked and sounded as if he was losing it.
"How does it sound, Y/N?" He asked into the microphone.
I walked closer to the stage with my face screwed up so I didn't have to yell. "Do you want the truth?"
"I wouldn't expect anything else from you."
That made me chuckle but then let out a deep sigh.
"You sound like shit, Noah. What's going on?" I stuck my hands in the back pockets of my jeans and put all of my weight on my left foot, cocking a hip out.
Noah sighed while handing the microphone to one stagehand before sitting on the edge of the stage, his long legs dangling off. I was a few feet in front of him and ignored the way my brain screamed at me to slink between them.
"I woke up this morning with a sore throat and thought it'd get better by now," he ran a hand through his hair.
Matt sighed next to me; stress clear on his face. "We've got about six hours until your set. Why don't you rest your voice until then. We can cover the rest of the sound check without you."
"You sure?"
Nick clasped a hand on Noah's shoulder and nodded. "We got it."
While they all conversed about what to do, an idea sprung to mind and I pulled out my phone to look up the nearest coffee shop. Thinking no one noticed, I slipped away from them while sending a text to Davis, who was still at the hotel, to see if he could finish setting up for me.
"Where are you going?"
Turning around, I noticed Noah followed me. I gave him a stern look, him already forgetting Matt's orders not to talk.
"You're not supposed to talk," I reminded him.
He rolled his eyes then whipped out his phone and typed something on his notes app before showing me; he asked again where I was going.
"I was going to get you a tea to help soothe your throat," I said, suddenly nervous that the gesture might have seemed too much coming from me.
Noah's mouth curved into a smile and motioned for me to follow, him clearly coming with me.
"Are you sure that's a good idea? There's a line outside, you're bound to be seen."
I'm sure he knew that but I wasn't worried someone would see him alone. I was worried he'd be seen with me. After almost a year working for Bad Omens, I'd done a pretty good job and not to be seen with them out in public. Of course, in group settings, it was harder, with fans snapping pictures of us when we walked around the town, we were sightseeing. But now, alone with Noah, I couldn't fathom what people would say if they saw the two of us. Fans knew I was the merch girl so maybe they'd think we were just grabbing coffee for everyone else.
That's exactly what you're doing. No need to overthink things.
Noah led us out the back where fans weren't allowed and when I told him where the shop was, we began walking in stride there. We didn't speak, the silence something we were used to between us, but every once in a while, our hands would brush together. A spark of heat and electricity shot through me every time. Something I knew Noah felt as well because, at one point, his fingers brushed against the inside of my wrist, on purpose.
As the shop came into view, we noticed there was a small group of people hanging around outside; all wearing Bad Omens merch. The two of us came to a halt, and I peered up at Noah, seeing what he wanted to do. He shrugged before typing something on his phone and showing me the screen.
Can't hurt to talk for a few minutes, right?
I narrowed my eyes at him, debating whether this was a good idea.
"If I get any flak from Matt because I let you talk and your voice gets worse, I'll kick your ass," I pointed at him.
Something dark flashed across Noah's eyes and he licked his lips, typing a new message.
Sounds like a deal, angel.
Ignoring the way my insides burned at the pet name, I told him I would be right back while he socialized with the fans. As I stepped inside, the group of fans started muttering under their breath that 'the Noah Sebastian' was standing right in front of them. The wait for the tea wasn't that long and as I waited, my eyes dared a glance outside to see Noah finishing up taking some pictures with the fans. As if he felt me staring, his eyes locked with mine and gave a small wave.
An action one fan noticed then followed Noah's gaze, landing right on me.
With a start, I turned back to the counter when my name was called and took the tea with a smile. By the time I made it back outside, Noah was alone, leaning up against the wall of the building.
I handed him the tea. "I don't think it will cure you completely but maybe enough for tonight's show."
Noah nodded his thanks and soon we began the short walk back to the venue, in silence. Thankfully, he was not speaking to save his voice because I wasn't sure what we would talk about. Clearly, we were supposed to think what happened that night didn't, and I was glad to do that.
Was I?
I couldn't dwell on the question for long because my phone buzzed in my pocket. Expecting it to be Matt wondering where I ran off to with the vocalist, it surprised me to see my mom calling. She never called me on her phone. When we did talk, which was rare nowadays, it was when Lana called me.
With a soft hand on Noah's forearm, I pulled him to a stop.
"Give me a minute?" I asked.
He nodded, so I took a few steps away to give myself some privacy.
"Mom?" I asked once I answered.
"Yes, I'd like to report a break in."
My heart rate intensified hearing her calm, eerie voice. It wasn't anything I'd heard before which made me wonder what the fuck was going on.
"Mom, it's me. Y/N. What's going on?"
"There's a lady in my house trying to give me medication. I told her I don't need it but she said it'll help me."
I pinched my eyes shut while letting out a shaky breath. I could practically feel Noah's eyes gazing at me but ignored him; right now, my mom needed me.
"Mom, that's Lana. Your nurse," I spoke low into the phone so Noah couldn't hear me. "We've been through this, it will help you."
"NO! She said it will make me go to sleep. I don't want that."
I bit my lip, trying not to break down. It had been a good couple of days for both my mom and I, now everything was slowly turning to shit once again.
"Just take it, alright? For me?" I begged.
"Who are you?"
It wasn't the first time she questioned who I was but every time; it chipped away at my heart. Having your own mother forget who you were was a different kind of pain. There was some rustling on the other end, a struggle almost as I heard Lana grunting and my mom yelling obscenities to her. For a split second, I almost told Noah I had to leave but when Lana's calm voice came through the speaker, it erased that thought from my mind.
"Hi dear," she breathed into the phone. "How are things?"
I scoffed. "Really? That's how you answer the phone? What the fuck is going on?"
"I promise its nothing-."
"I swear to the Gods, Lana if you say its nothing you can't handle I'm going to fucking loose it," I spat through gritted teeth.
Every single phone call, Lana would tell me her version of the day but end it with 'nothing she couldn't handle'. I was tired of hearing it; I demanded to know the truth.
By now, Noah had come around to face me, a wondering spark in his eyes.
"Everything alright?" He mouthed.
I nodded with a sigh before turning slightly away from him.
"It's been a terrible day, dear. Your mother is getting worse, and she really needs to go to a facility where they're better equipt to handle this."
Tears burned in my eyes, and I hastily wiped them away with the back of my hand. This was not a conversation I would have with Lana over the phone.
"I know," I spoke out in a deep breath. "I have a few more weeks left and when I'm home, we can talk about it."
There was a long beat of silence on the other end that I almost checked to see if Lana hung up.
"I really hate bothering you, Y/N. You deserve this time away because of how tired you were from taking care of your mother. You're too young to deal with this on your own."
My heart warmed at Lana's words, and finally, a lone tear rolled over my cheek. Noah reached out with his thumb to brush it away and I instinctively leaned into it, not realizing how badly I needed it.
"I have to go. Whatever happens, no matter the time, please call me."
"Of course, dear."
I stared blankly at the black screen, replaying everything that happened and knowing that eventually I'd have to decide. I kept my mom at home because I thought she would remember things easier, all the memories we made but maybe it was only making things worse for her. I knew I was being selfish letting Lana deal with everything on her own while I was hundreds of miles away living my life.
Would she even let me back to help? She already told me I didn't deserve to deal with it on my own.
"Hey," Noah cupped my cheek. "What's going on?"
His voice was quiet so he wouldn't strain it.
I sniffled while refusing to meet his gaze. Even if he heard the conversation, I wasn't ready to talk about my mom yet; if ever.
"I don't want to talk about it," I shook my head in his grasp. "Please."
His thumb lifted my chin so I had no choice but to look at him as his eyes darted back and forth between mine as if he was searching for something. Eventually, he nodded but kept his grip on my face.
"Alright, but I'm here if you change your mind," he assured me.
"Why? What's different now?"
The question tumbled out of my mouth before I could even stop it. Noah let out a deep sigh before stepping away from me and letting his hand fall from my face.
"I-It's hard to explain."
I chuckled darkly and extended my hands to the side, a silent way of telling him I had the time to listen. But Noah said nothing, only gripped his tea tighter in one hand while the other ran over his face.
"Forget it," I mumbled. "You shouldn't even be talking. Matt would kill me if you lost your voice because of me. Can we just head back to the venue?"
Reluctantly, Noah nodded, and with that, I turned my back to him as I walked away.
Tumblr media
A quick yawn fell from my lips as I loaded the last box of merch into the truck. It was a very long night and with his vocal rest and tea, Noah was able to perform tonight; not how he usually does, but no one noticed. Since I had been incredibly busy all night, I didn't have time to think about my mom but now as I walked back inside the venue, I couldn't help but think of her.
Was I a terrible daughter for leaving her?
Would she ever forgive me?
Would she ever remember me?
All the doctors and specialists I spoke to said never to think of that question, it only made things worse in the end. You couldn't dwell on the what ifs or the bad with Alzheimers, you had to relish in the good times.
A warm body slide up to me as I was aimless walking the back halls of the venue and I saw Folio smiling at me.
"I'd figure you left," I said.
"We're all still here having drinks in the green room. We couldn't find you so I came looking," he explained.
I tossed a thumb over my shoulder. "I was packing up the truck."
"Well, I've got some bad news."
That made me pull him to a stop, worry etched deep into my bones. "What is it?"
"Some members of the crew wanted to get a head start to the next city and left already. They were going to ask you if you wanted to go with them but no one could find you. I told them to go ahead, and you'd ride with us. I already grabbed your things from their bus."
I didn't know how to feel. Obviously, I wasn't mad for being left behind and I was thankful Folio thought to grab my things. I did, however, feel apprehensive about being on the same bus as Noah. Now there was nowhere to run. At least at the venues, there was a decent amount of space between us. But the small confines of the tour bus, it was inevitable it would force us to be together. Our little trip to the coffee shop earlier proved that there was still tension between us.
It didn't help that neither of us talked about what happened at the Airbnb.
I gave Folio's hand a squeeze. "Thanks."
"Come on," Folio pulled me along to the green room.
A part of me wanted to fight, the thought of crawling into my bunk on the bus sounded better but I knew right now I needed a distraction. We walked through the door seeing Nick, Jolly, and Noah in the room.
"I feel as if this is a Bad Omens only meeting," I laughed towards Folio.
He simply ruffled my hair before sitting on the couch next to Nick.
Noah was standing in front of a mirror in the room trying to undo his ear in's but he couldn't quite reach so I walked up behind him and removed them for him.
"Thanks," he said while taking them from me.
All I did was nod and was ready to sit on the couch until his hand grasped my wrist, stopping me.
"How are you doing?" Noah asked.
When we came back to the venue earlier, he tried to ask one more time what happened on my phone call but I denied him again.
"I'm fine."
I didn't mean to be cold towards him but I was exhausted after a long day, the last thing I wanted was to be asked if I was alright. I just wanted to forget. So I sat next to Jolly on the couch and actually thought about it when he offered me a beer. I said I drank little, depending on the situation, but after the day I had; more so the year, I accepted the beer with a smile of thanks.
Noah sat on the couch across from me and gave me a look that screamed apprehension.
I took a pretty large drink before setting it on the table in front of me.
"Don't worry, Noah. I won't get drunk and make you carry me back to the bus," the tone in my voice was icy.
Guilt ate away at me because there was no need for me to sound like that but the last thing I needed right now was to be judge. Especially from Noah.
"It's not that," he hesitated, thinking if he should have continued and ultimately decided not too.
I, however, was in a feisty mood so I pressed on. "What is it then? You don't want me drinking on the job?"
"Or is it an embarrasment having me drunk around you guys? Is that why you're holding that night in Chicago over my head."
Noah had a pinched expression, and his shoulders were rigid with annoyance. His knee bounced widely before he abruptly sat up from the couch and walked to the other end of the room, clearly needing a moment to cool off.
I wanted to follow to continue giving him a piece of my mind but Nick held up a hand to stop me.
"Do you even remember what happened in Chicago that night, Y/N?"
"Barley. There was this married guy flirting with me all night and when I found that out, it hit me hard so I drank," I answered Nick.
It was Jolly who spoke next. "Noah found you outside with that guy as he was trying to force you into his car. He claimed the two of you were supposed to head back to your hotel room together."
My face paled realizing what exactly Jolly was saying.
"I definitely did not have plans to go back to my hotel room with him," I informed them.
"Noah knew, so he was able to get you away from that guy," Folio finished.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. That was the reason Noah held a grudge against me for that night. But that made little sense; if he saved me from whatever that asshole had planned, why did it make him so cold towards me?
"Why?" I asked while looking at him.
"You'd think I'd let you get into a car with some random asshole while you're drunk?" Noah snapped.
"No, of course not. But I don't understand why you're holding that night over my head. None of it was my fault," I defended.
Noah's jaw tightened. "I never said it was."
Suddenly, it all clicked into place. Seeing me almost put myself in danger made him so upset with me. I will be the first to admit, when I got drunk I didn't make the best choices. Hence why I decided against drinking all the time. It still didn't excuse the way he acted the way he did, but it explained why. Maybe now we could move past that night and enjoy the rest of the tour without the heated tension.
I stood to my feet and walked into his open embrace, wrapping my arms tightly around his back while laying my head against his chest.
"Thank you," I said softly.
Noah tensed for a moment before his own arms snaked around me, laying his chin on top of my head.
"You never have to thank me, angel."

“What can I get started for you two?” The barista asked you and the man who sat across the table from you, “Can I get a latte?” “Yes of course and for the latte art, what would you like?” “A heart, please.” She nodded, then turned her head to the man, “And you sir?” “Same as her, thanks.” The barista walked away as you studied the man's eyes noticing how his eyes would mask the color of his pupils but as the sun came across his face and into his eyes, the dark brown color softened to a hazel color, his eyes were gorgeous. He was just so perfect along with him being sweet, protective, hot, more and more but most of all you loved his personality, he always knew the ways to make you laugh when you were sad and the things to buy you when you weren't feeling well. “I feel like we never spend that much time together anymore I miss you baby, it’s been torture not seeing you as much as we used to.” He looked down as sorrow displayed on his face then looking back at you naively, slowly nodding and softening your gaze “I know and I miss you too, like everyday but with both of our lives being extremely busy it’s harder to get all the work done with distractions. I just wanna get my work done so that way I can spend more time with you. I just don’t want us to drift away because of our work though.”
“Baby trust me, we won’t drift away from each other. I love you too much to ever let you go so don’t worry about that and if you ever need any help with your work I can always help you, seems pretty easy to me. Plus even if I'm with you and you can’t get your work done just legit tell me to shut up and I will.” Licking his lips he relaxed more into the side of his booth as his latte was placed in front of him as well as yours being placed in front of you, saying thank you he leaned a bit forward to take a sip out of his drink. “We have to hangout more, I have been getting desperate for you these days.” Smirking a bit and laughing to yourself at his boldness in a coffee shop, he continued “ I miss the way your pussy would wrap around my cock, it was the best. Missing it right now, not gonna lie.” your eyes widened in shock. “Jay, we are in public.” He raised an eyebrow taking another mouthful of his drink, placing the cup back on the table. He explained, “How is that my problem, if people are listening that's their fault not mine.” he shrugged his shoulders at the comment.
Rolling your eyes at how shameless your boyfriend was being in the setting around you, his phone buzzed on the table looking up to face him as he grabbed his phone all he said was, “Jake is he-.” Just then Jake came and walked to the booth and sat beside your boyfriend. “How is my favorite boyfriend in the world and his side piece doing?” He asked looking sideways when he mentioned you being a side piece, you knew he was joking it was how he always talked, the first time he ever called you that you were a bit taken back and looked at Jay confused but that's when he told you that it was just how Jake is. “We are good, you know me and my boyfriend are just hanging out. It was nice till you showed up though.” Opening his mouth, scoffing and turning to Jay meanwhile your boyfriend was just spacing out looking at you and shrugged at Jake. “Well my boyfriend loves me, don’t talk to him he isn’t for you.” You laughed as he hugged Jay around the neck as Jay looked around clueless as to why his friend was randomly hugging him, he brought his hand up to Jake's arm that was wrapped around him and patted it lightly. “
“So what are we planning on doing today?” Jake lifted his head up from being nuzzled in Jay’s neck to now being rested on his shoulder, your boyfriend looked at you waiting for you to respond but as you gave him a shrug symbolizing that you don’t know what you guys are planning on doing Jay just says. “We were just going to go to my house and hang out, we don’t know yet, it will come to us as we go through the day.” Jake nodded his head and turned to you as you broke your gaze from looking at your boyfriend. “You both need to hurry up, Jay we should play that one video game I told you about.” Jay looked at Jake again, “But today I wanted to hang out with Y/n, we haven’t had much time to hangout with each other.” you spoke up and told Jay “If you want to hang out with him you can, I’m not going to stop you plus I still see you tomorrow. I'll just watch you two play.” Jake nodded excitedly with a huge smile forming from ear to ear, Jay just nodded and finished the last of his latte. With only a sip left you finished yours as well and proceeded to look in your wallet to pay, feeling a smack on your hand you look up and see it was your boyfriend that had smacked your hand. “It’s on me.” “You always pay can’t I?” “No, put your wallet away.” Both of the boys stood up from the booth as you placed your wallet back into your bag, standing up with them as your face showed the smallest bit that you were disappointed. Jay saw your display of emotion and pulled you to his side and kissed your forehead, “I just like treating my princess, is that so bad.” “No, I just wanna pay too.” Jake turns around and scoffs before saying “Ugh you both are nasty with the sappy stuff.” Jay looked at you grabbing your hand again before replying to Jake, “Sappy stuff is loving my girlfriend?” he raised an eyebrow in question.
“Yeah of course it is.” He replied in a ‘duh’ tone, “I think someone is just jealous that he loves me more.” You tease squeezing the side of Jay’s arm looking up at him. “Wait Jake, how did you get here?” Your boyfriend asked, “A taxi, so I'm coming with you guys.” “Fun.” You said, rolling your eyes, your boyfriend slapped your arm looking at you as Jake looked at you from the side just before opening the passenger's side and sitting in there. “That’s Y/n’s spot.” Jay told Jake sternly, “Not moving, she can sit on my lap if she wants to.” you opened your mouth to reply “I don-” “She’s not sitting on your lap, either you sit in the back or she does but im putting it up to her.” Jake looked at you as well as Jay waiting for your response, “It’s okay I'll just sit in the back.” Jake mouthed ‘thank you’ as you nodded to his silent comment. You and your boyfriend soon joined Jake in the car, driving home Jake was playing his Justin Bieber playlist as he sang out the lyrics to the songs.
Feeling the streets became familiar, you started to get your belongings and put them on your lap as Jay proceeded to put the car in park. Jay had left the car as soon as he put it in park and went to your door, opening it right away. “Thank you.” You told him while kissing his cheek and smiling at him. Jake was running towards the door opening it and continued to run into the building of their dorms, Jay turned to you and gave you a confusing look you just shrugged at him at his friends weirdness. Opening the building's door while holding it for Jay he grabbed your hand as you both walked to his and the members dorm, as you both walked into their dorms only Jake was found while he was putting in the video game in the console waiting for it to show on their tv. Jay let go of your hand as he walked to Jake and sat on the floor while he patted a spot on the couch above him, following him you sat above him on the couch as you scrolled on your phone while playing with his hair. He always loved it when you played with his hair or you rubbed his back, it always made him fall asleep way easier.
Jake sat next to him handing him a controller as the game displayed on the big tv above them, Jake glanced back at you for a second while you continued to play with Jay's hair on your phone. Sitting up you placed your legs dangling down from the couch and placed them on either side of Jay’s shoulders while he rubbed your legs waiting for the game to load. The characters on the screen started to load in, your boyfriend picked out this guy that had a skull mask on while Jake was still picking out his character while looking at their strengths. Jay laid his head back till it was on your lap he puckered up his lips wanting a kiss, leaning down placing one on his soft lips. Promptly the game loaded on the screen as Jake picked out his character, they both stared at the screen before them Jay picked his head up from your lap and returned his focus to the screen.
The screen was showing a two screens from Jay’s character point of view and the same with Jake’s, getting bored you let go of Jay’s hair making him nudge your thigh telling you to continue playing, not doing what he wants you pulled out your phone and started scrolling on your for you page watching edits of your boyfriend. Jay then grabbed your phone as his eyes were still focused on the screen and placed the phone next to him then proceeded to play the game, huffing out being even more bored down you had an idea. Moving your foot that was placed on his thigh now being moved to onto his pelvis while moving your foot softly onto his dick, he lowered his hands with the controller in his hand to rest on your foot as he tried to stop the stimulation you were creating. He placed his head on your thigh as his mouth parted slightly while you continued to move up and down on his dick, small breathy moans started to come from his mouth.
Hearing him start to make noise you placed you hand over his mouth then turning your gaze to his friend to see if he heard any of the noises your boyfriend made. Thankfully he hadn’t heard anything and his attention was focused on the screen before him, continuing your motions starting to move faster. Jay’s character had been standing on in plain sight due to the pleasure you had been giving him, the other team saw the opportunity and killed his character which made Jake turn his head towards Jay finally seeing what the two of you had been doing by his side. Seeing Jake turn his attention to you, you lifted your foot off of Jay’s growing erection making him whine from the loss of your touch. Jake turned his attention back to the screen as Jay continued to rest his head on your thigh not playing the game anymore, leaning down to his ear you said to him “You died, continue playing so he doesn’t get any more ideas.” he lifted his head up and grabbed the controller and hit the restart button but just before he did Jay whispered back to you. “I think he already saw, look at his cock.” You looked shocked at his comment and questioned him, “Huh?!” he just looked at you then trailed his eyes to his friend “I give you permission, just look.” looking over towards him and trailing down his body down to his pants as his dick was clearly displayed through his sweatpants.
Your boyfriend looked at you and smirked to you as Jake asked you to grab the pillow next to you for him, giving him the pillow he placed it over his pants pretending that he had gotten the pillow to hug it but it was really it hide the boner that was forming in his pants. “Was it Y/n teasing me that turned you on, imagining that she was playing with you instead of me?” Jake turned to him and gave him a confused look acting as if he had no idea what he was talking about, “What are you talking about?” “I know you saw what we were doing, does she turn you on?” he lowered his head not being able to look at either of you. “Than what’s that?” Your boyfriend asked lifting up the pillow from off his lap making Jake immediately cover himself, all he could do was just look down in embarrassment at being caught while his erection was twitching against his hands. “I knew I was right, I see the way you look at her.” Jake just continued to look down almost as if Jay had been scolding him, you just looked at Jake waiting for any type of emotion wondering if he was going to cry, leave, smile, or blow up at Jay.
But as you continued to look at him his eyes would open wider each time his cock twitched against himself, “She can help.” making both of your gaze turning to him then to each other. “That’s if she wants to.” Jake couldn’t look at you it was like every time his eyes would almost meet the space between the two of you he would get scolded, he looked nervous and confused it was easily displayed. You nodded to your boyfriend, “I’ll allow you to just this one time, go help him.” getting up from the couch and sitting facing him he couldn’t look at you still as his hands were still placed on top of himself. “Do you even want this?” He nodded vigorously, “I just-” he sighed “-don’t know just nervous I guess, I mean it just feels weird.” tilting your head to the side “Why is it weird?” his attention was now on you as both of your eyes looked into each other’s. “Your dating my best friend, I feel like i’m betraying him I could never do something like that to him.” He looked at you as his eyes pleaded “It’s okay I give you both permission but if I tell you to stop you have to, plus I get a good show.” smirking towards the both of you as Jake turned towards you again but refusing to make eye contact. “Can I?” You asked as he looked at you while you looked down at his pants referring to helping him with his problem, meanwhile he nodded at your question finally looking at you once more.
Bringing your fingers to now being around his waist band and slowly pulling them down while he lifted his hips as you swiftly pulled them down to his knees doing the same with his boxers, as his dick slapped up against his lower stomach making a whine fell from his lips as even more pre cum started to leak from his tip now trailing down the side of his cock. Your finger is now playing with the pre cum, wrapping your hand around his dick and spreading it all over as it acted like lube making his dick shiny. “Please Y/n.” He asked breathless leaving his lips slightly parted allowing him to make as much noise as possible, moving towards his dick you parted your mouth looking up at him signaling to him that you were going to suck him off. He lifted his shirt up revealing his abs, kissing his tip you continued to put his whole cock in your mouth or at least what you could fit into your mouth, pleases and praises fell from his lips encouraging you to keep going.
The faster you went the louder he became, Jay came closer to the both of you and sat next to Jake covering his mouth to muffle his noises meanwhile he gave you a look to keep going. You started to deep throat him, putting as much as you can in your mouth as he muffled words into Jay’s hand the only things you could make out from him was when he chanted ‘yes’ and when he would say: ‘so good’, ‘fuck’, ‘pretty’, ‘good girl’ and ‘keep going’ along with his moans and whines that would fall from his lips, just as the man in front of you was reaching his climax your boyfriend pulled your head up from off of him and told you two. “Maybe we should take this to the bedroom.” You nodded as you brung your hand up to your face running the back of it along your mouth to wipe off the excess spit from around your lips, walking towards Jay’s bedroom you walked in and placed yourself on the bed as Jake did the exact same thing sitting down next to you. Jay had shut the door behind him then walked over to the both of you and told you both “Continue.” as he placed himself behind you, feeling a sudden breath against your panties you picked your head up and turned around only to reveal your boyfriend teasing you through your clothes. As he saw you looking at him he pushed your head back down onto his friend’s dick making the male in front of you grunt from the sudden feeling, “That’s it keep going, your doing so good.” was all he said before throwing his head back into the pillows below him. Feeling your panties being pulled down you feel his fingers start to enter you one by one fucking all of them into you as you continued to suck Jake off, all of the sudden the sound of a zipper was heard from behind you then starting to feel the tip of your boyfriend’s cock tease your entrance and slap up against it. “You like sucking off my best friend, huh little slut?” He asks as he buried his cock into into your pussy making you lunge forward onto Jake’s cock, the room was filled with moans from all of you as your boyfriend was fucking you and his friend was getting sucked off by you. “Oh god.. Y/n go faster I think i’m gonna cum.”
He told you with a shaky voice sounding desperate, following his commands you started to go faster and faster till he pushed your head down till your lips were resting against his pelvis, cumming deep into your throat as you swallowed it around his cock. You boyfriend still pounding you from behind, the sound of Jake cumming turned you on to the max making clenching around his cock more and more to signal to him that you were close to cumming as well. Your boyfriend’s movements increased as he went faster till the only thing that was heard in the room was skin slapping against one another occasionally the kissed he would leave on your body and the moans that filled the entire dorm rooms, “Gonna cum, gonna fuck my babies into you.” you moaned into the bed below you. “Fucking take it you slut.” He said before burying himself deep into your pussy spilling his cum into you as he pulled out he watched it leak down from in your pussy to onto the bed, he kissed your lips as told you how much of a good girl you are for him and for Jake. “Thank you so much Y/n.” You nodded and kissed his cheek, “Anytime, as long as Jay is okay with it.” you told him giggling and turning to Jay as he kissed your neck.

Lipstick Stains - Pt. 19

Larissa Weems x fem!reader
summary: "Nothing makes us so lonely as our secrets." - Paul Tournier
words: ~ 1.8k | ao3 link in title
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Watching you with massive, glassy eyes was a creature the likes of which you couldn’t even conjure up in your worst nightmares. Large and grotesque with sickly, gray skin, it stared you down as if you were its next meal. You felt an icy sensation shoot through your veins, completely frozen in place with shock.
This was it, you thought, unable to tear your eyes away from the horrifying figure whose breath was slowly fogging up your passenger side window. I’m going to die here today, and I’ll be lucky if they find my body. Tears began to well up in your eyes, your breathing going shallow as you wondered if there was a way out of the situation. Maybe, if you started the car, you could drive away…
You dropped your phone into your lap and reached for the ignition - the movement caught the monster’s eye and it bared its sharp, uneven teeth at you.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, f-
Suddenly, the monster whipped its head around, looking back at something in the woods behind him. You waited with baited breath - until, with a final, curious glance at you, it ran towards the forest, disappearing between dense trees. There was a flash of something red at the tree line, but the rain was still too heavy to make out anything specific - and like hell you were going to stay around and wait for the creature to come back. You were not going to die out here.
Fumbling with the keys for a moment, you turned on the ignition, wasting no time in pressing the gas and barreling towards Jericho in the rain at a speed that would have your mother clutching at the grab handle above the door for dear life.
~~~
Pulling up to the Weathervane, you stuffed your phone into the pocket of your hoodie, pulled your keys from the ignition and dashed through the rain (which had now slowed to a light drizzle) and into the warm coffee shop - anything to get out of your car and be amongst people, anything to make sure you hadn’t gone insane.
You felt like an absolute mess - your heart was pounding, your stomach rolling with a wave of nausea so great you thought you might vomit on the floor of the cafe. Deciding to just buy a bottle of water, you slid into a booth by the window and pulled out your phone, opening Larissa’s contact. You ran a trembling hand through your hair, letting out a shaky breath - what would you tell Larissa? You wanted to talk to her - you had to - but you didn’t want her to worry too much, either - she had enough on her plate.
Someone passed by your table and you glanced up, immediately recognizing the young girl with the dark braids.
“He was attacked.”
“By…?”
“The bear that’s been all over the news.”
“He’s lucky to have gotten away then.”
You recalled the funny looks the teenagers had given each other in the car that night, the way Wednesday had glanced up at Xavier. You should’ve known it wasn’t a bear behind these attacks.
“Hey!”
Wednesday froze - even from behind, you could see her tense up as she realized you were speaking with her. She glanced over her shoulder, her brow furrowing slightly as she took in your clearly rattled appearance.
“You lied.”
She turned fully at that, cocking her head to the side.
“That night. You lied. That wasn’t a fucking bear, was it?” You couldn’t even feel embarrassed at the way your voice rose in pitch as you spoke - you needed answers, and you were certain the girl could give them to you.
With a glance around the Weathervane, Wednesday slid into the booth across from you, slipping her backpack off her shoulders and digging around inside for a thick and very old looking book. She flipped through it, leaving it open to a certain page and sliding it across the table. Another wave of nausea hit you as you saw a sketch that looked exactly like the monster you’d seen. “T-that’s… I was driving here, I saw that… thing… what is that?”
“It’s called a hyde.” She pointed at the text on the page and you leaned in, reading about the creature that transforms as a result of its trauma, unlocked and then controlled by a master.
“Does Larissa know about this?”
“Principal Weems hasn’t told you?”
It was your turn to furrow your brow, a little pit burrowing its way into your stomach. “N-no?”
“Your girlfriend has been keeping secrets.”
“Wednesday, what do you mean by that?”
“Regrettably, it’s taken me weeks to find out what’s behind these attacks. Principal Weems has known this entire time and hasn’t done a thing. All she cares about is protecting Nevermore’s reputation, and her own. She’s been withholding information, she didn’t do a thing to protect Eugene, she covered up Rowan’s murder and lied to Sheriff Galpin about it.”
Your heart had begun to pound once again - certainly Larissa didn’t care more about reputation than about her students, that wasn’t her… Wednesday must have been mistaken. “Who’s Rowan? What happened?” you asked urgently.
“Rowan was attacked by the hyde. Principal Weems shapeshifted into him and pretended he was still alive, even though she knew full well what killed him. She has told you she’s a shapeshifter, hasn’t she?”
You were taken aback by Wednesday’s boldness, your throat going dry as you tried to speak. “Y-yeah… of course she has.”
Wednesday looked at you with a hint of doubt, before leaning across the table towards you and lowering her voice. “Well I haven’t been able to get through to her but maybe you can. Maybe she’ll listen to you. She can’t run away from this forever, we have to stop the hyde. Before it’s too late.”
At a loss for words, all you could do was nod as your mind raced. Wednesday shoved her book in her bag, sliding out of the booth and giving you one final glance before leaving the Weathervane. You looked down at your phone on the table, your own reflection peering back at you through the glass - it made you sick.
-
“I’m sure you’ve heard of the… incidents that have occurred here in Jericho recently.”
“That bear that’s been mauling hikers?”
“Yes. That one. I wouldn’t want to put you in harm’s way by going out into Jericho’s woods at night.”
-
“It’s just a bear.”
-
“Please stay safe.”
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Just be careful, alright?”
-
Your blood began to boil as you recalled all the times Larissa had lied to you, all the times shed danced around the truth. Wednesday’s words had shaken you to your core - your mind swam with unanswered questions, and you knew you needed to talk to Larissa.
~~~
“Darling, I was wondering when you’d-”
Larissa’s words were cut off by the slamming of her office door behind you. Her brow furrowed as you stormed up to her desk and tossed your bag to the floor, a look of worry crossing her features.
“You’ve been lying to me.” You tried to keep the hurt out of your voice, but judging by the confusion in her gaze as she gently closed her laptop, you were unsuccessful.
“Not that I recall,” she said softly, her lips pulled down into a frown. “What are you talking about?”
The fact that Larissa was lying to you again made you nauseous, stoking your anger. Just over an hour ago you’d been certain you were about to become dinner for some monstrous creature, and now the one person you trusted above everyone else was lying to your face - and apparently not for the first time. “I’m talking about the hyde,” you said, gritting your teeth.
Larissa rolled her eyes, though you could see her shift subtly in her seat. “I take it you’ve run into Wednesday.”
“Yeah, Larissa, I ran into Wednesday. After running into that thing.”
Larissa’s face fell and she shot up from her desk, rounding it and coming to stand in front of you. She placed her hands on your shoulders, ducking her head to get you to look her in the eyes as a hint of panic rose in her voice. “What do you mean ‘running into’ it? What did you see? Are you alright?”
“I saw the hyde. With my own two eyes. So you can stop pretending that it’s just a bear.” You could feel the distant sting of tears at the backs of your eyes, though you were helpless to stop them. “That thing is a monster and you knew and you lied to me about it.”
“I was trying to protect you,” Larissa said with a measured voice, but you could see the fear in her eyes. She tried to cup your cheek but you took a step back, holding her gaze with indignance in your own as you scoffed at her words.
“You know, at least Wednesday had the decency to be honest with me. Wednesday told me you’ve known this whole time and haven’t done a thing.”
You waited for Larissa to deny it, to try to defend herself - instead, she glared down at you, deep blue eyes turning glassy as her cheeks reddened.
“And what does Ms. Addams know of it?” she spat out, her lips curled in disgust.
“She knows that you covered up a murder.”
The shapeshifter’s nostrils flared as she took a step towards you. “I did what I had to do in order to protect my Nevermore family. I’m not doing nothing - I’m doing everything I can to keep my students out of harm’s way and to keep this school up and running. What more do you want from me?”
“I want you to stop keeping secrets from me! I’m not a child you need to protect - I want you to trust me, Larissa!”
“I do trust you!” Larissa snapped, crossing her arms over her chest. “It’s not that simple.”
“Isn’t it?”
“You wouldn’t understand,” she said with a dismissive wave of her hand, turning to pace back and forth in front of her desk.
“No, you’re right, Larissa, I wouldn’t understand,” you spat out, a tear of frustration rolling down your cheek. “Because you won’t talk to me about it. You think you have to deal with everything on your own so instead of letting me in, you lie to me and keep secrets from me. Do you think I wouldn’t get it?”
Larissa spun around, her lip quivering as she stared down at you with a mixture of frustration and exasperation - something else was hidden there, too, though you couldn’t quite place it. “I don’t know!” Her voice was loud and harsh - she’d never raised her voice at you before, though considering how your own voice had been consistently rising in pitch throughout the argument you shouldn’t have been surprised. Still, you took a step back as the force behind her words shocked you.
“Well, have fun figuring it out then,” you replied hoarsely.
With that, you turned on your heel, missing the way that Larissa’s face fell as you stormed out of her office, slamming the door behind you and using your free hand to wipe the tears off of your cheeks.

Grief (A Friend Indeed) Part 9
Hello, everyone! We are almost to the end. I have all twelve parts completed and will be posting them every Thursday until the story is fully published.
So what's next? With Royal Pain being done as well, I'm going to try and finish Well Met By Moonlight and Find Your Shade By the Moonlight. I will be back working on the soulmate AU Batshit Soulmate and the next book in the Boy with a Bat series called Never Hold Back Your Step for a Moment. I'm also starting that omegaverse story I thought up here.
We meet Steve's family and find out more about why Steve's parents didn't like that side of the family much.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8
****
Eddie and Steve wandered around town for a couple of hours, doing a little sightseeing, a little shopping, and a lot just being themselves for a moment or two.
Soon it was getting close to time and they headed to the diner. They pulled up and got a booth.
Eddie and Steve slid into one side and told the waitress that they were waiting for someone and to just grab them a couple of waters.
The waitress nodded and quickly came back with the waters.
They didn’t have to wait long before Percy came through the door, the little bell announcing his arrival.
Steve waved him over and he smiled in return, hurrying over to the table. Once he was settled he told the waitress they were waiting on one more but if they could get a pot of coffee and two cups please. Eddie and Steve both got sodas.
“Who are we waiting for?” Steve asked nervously.
Percy twisted the ring on his ring hand, looking down at the table. “A friend.”
Eddie and Steve shared a glance, wide-eyed.
Eddie wrote something down on a paper napkin and slid it over to Percy.
Percy took the napkin with frown and then he gasped. “Both of you?”
“Both for me,” Steve murmured.
“Just men for me,” Eddie added.
Percy glanced around the diner nervously, but no one was paying any attention to them at all.
“Oh.” He let out a shuddering breath. “Just him.” He pointed to someone walking up to the diner through the window.
He was a tall man, thin. Long black hair, braided to the small of his back. He wore a suit just as nice as Max’s in a beautiful silver color.
He came over when Percy waved at him. He slid next to Percy and looked Steve and Eddie over.
“Who are these boys, Percy?” he asked gravely.
“This my nephew, Steven and his friend...” Percy began.
Eddie stuck out his hand. “Eddie. Eddie Munson. We’re actually in Kentucky because of my own grandma’s funeral. Steve wanted to come visit his grandma’s grave so we took a drive.”
“Where you from?” Percy asked. “I catch a bit of twang to your voice.”
Eddie grinned. “Indiana mostly, but my family’s from Ashland.”
Percy smiled. “Nice town.”
Steve smiled. “It has been so far.”
“This is David Estevez,” Percy said, shyly. “The reason you’re parents haven’t spoken to me in over a decade.”
“Ah,” Steve said. “Yup, Clint Harrington is a lot of things, but tolerant isn’t one of them and of course my mom just went along with it. Even though it’s her money and her family.”
Eddie clicked his tongue against the back of his teeth. “Let’s see, not white, not from here, judging from the accent, and not straight... anything I missed?”
David burst out laughing. “Not the right kind of rich. I’m a self-made man. I worked hard to be where I am today and they hate that. I grew up poor in New Mexico and made my money building computers in my mom’s basement. Now, I’m a multi-millionaire CEO of a major tech company.”
“Dustin would love you,” Steve and Eddie said together.
“Who?” David asked with a chuckle.
“He’s this kid we know,” Eddie explained. “He built a CB tower just so he could talk to his girlfriend in Utah and not rack up his mom’s phone bill.”
“He sounds like fun,” Percy said, rolling his eyes.
David dug his fingers into Percy’s side, causing him to squirm and squeak. “As if you wouldn’t love it if I did that for you.”
Percy blushed. “Maybe.”
He cleared his throat. “How are your parents, Steven? I saw on the news that there was a horrible earthquake last March.”
Steve gulped and Eddie gave his hand a squeeze.
“I really wouldn’t know,” he mumbled, looking down at the table, tucking his hands between legs. “I haven’t seen them in a while.”
David and Percy shared a glance.
“They did come back after the earthquake, right?” Percy pressed. “To see if you were all right if nothing else.”
Steve shook his head. “They didn’t come home when I was caught in the mall fire, why would they come home for something as inconsequential as an earthquake?”
“Mall fire?” Percy asked.
“You remember, darling,” David said, “the one from last year where there were thirty people who died?”
Percy expression cleared as understanding dawned, and then it turned horrified. “They didn’t come home for that?”
Steve shook his head again. “They didn’t come home when I got a concussion so bad I was out for several hours, or anytime I got hurt.” He rubbed a scratch that was in the surface of the table mournfully.
“Mom follows Dad around to make sure he keeps it in his pants. Not that it deters him,” he explained. “I heard him bragging once about how it’s a game to him now to see what he can get away with.”
The waitress appeared with their drinks. “Are you guys ready to order?”
“I’m not hungry,” Steve murmured.
The rest of them ordered, with Eddie ordering a side of cheese fries in addition to his regular side of fries.
Once the waitress had gone, Percy leaned forward. “How long has this been going on?”
“The trips started when I fourteen or so,” he continued. “But the older I got, the longer the trips were, until they just stopped coming home sometime around Christmas of last year.”
“Stevie...” Eddie whined. “Why didn’t you say something?”
Steve shrugged. “I’m an adult. It’s not as though I’m a kid anymore.”
Percy took his hand in his. “No, Steven. That’s not how parenting works. Ever. They’re supposed to care about you enough to at least tell you were they’re going and when they’ll be home.”
Steve looked up and into his uncle’s eyes. “The money changed them. They haven’t been my parents in over a decade. I’ve just been this trophy they pulled out whenever it suited them. Had to be first in everything. I’m surprised they only let me get away three sports instead of making me try everything.”
Eddie looked stricken. “The sports weren’t your idea?”
Steve shook his head. “It was a way that they could legally pawn me off to other adults. Probably the reason for all the piano lessons and the tutoring. How I met Nancy by the way. Gotta have the best grades, until someone puts a plate through my head, then I was just as disappointing as they feared I would be.”
Everyone else at the table let out noises of distress.
“You never should have had to go through that,” David whispered fiercely. “Ever. I’m sorry your parents were awful.”
Steve shrugged. “It wasn’t all bad. I have had adults in my life that cared about me. The Chief of Police always kept an eye on me. Dad stopped hitting me after the second time Hop, Chief Hopper, I mean brought me home after...” he trailed off and looked anywhere but at the people in the booth with him.
He cleared his throat.
Their food arrived and that last sentence was left to dangling in the air like the sword of Damocles over their heads.
Percy watched as Eddie pushed the side of cheese fries between him and Steve, taking a bite periodically, but mostly focusing on the rest of his food.
Steve reached out and took one of the fries, chewing mindlessly. And then another and then another.
David smirked when Percy indicated to what Steve was doing.
Eddie pushed them in front of Steve and he just dug into them like a starving man. He took half of his burger and handed it to Steve, too.
Steve took the half with a blush. “Thanks, Eds,” he said softly.
Eddie just smiled fondly and finished his half of the burger.
David started talking to Percy to help fill the silence and soon the sense of dread dissipated as they fell into easy conversation.
Soon they were done and their plates taken away.
David lifted his chin to indicate to Steve. “Where did you learn that if you got cheese fries Steve would eat?”
Eddie and Steve glanced at each other and Steve blushed.
“Is that what he did?” he muttered.
Eddie laughed. “It’s trick I learned from his best friend. When he’s upset he won’t eat, even when he needs to, but if you put something like cheese fries or onion rings near him, he’ll graze until it kick starts his appetite again.”
Steve looked over at him in shock. “Holy shit, I never realized. Who else does that?”
Eddie smiled at him, that closed mouth, fond smile that he was got around Steve. “Dustin and Max mostly. But El and Will have been known to do it once or twice.”
Steve blinked.
“Sounds like you’ve got a lot of people that care about you, Steven,” Percy said with a grin.
Steve nodded, blushing. “Yeah, I guess I do.”
He looked at his watch and sighed. “How’s this,” he said, “why don’t you use that business card I gave you when you get home and David and me will come out to visit you for a few days?”
Steve lit up. “Yeah? You’d do that?”
Eddie grinned. Steve had just gotten his boyhood wish of having an uncle that cared and he could feel the joy and surprise radiating off his friend.
“I’d love to,” Percy said. “I would love to meet your family.”
Steve grinned. “You’ll love them.”
David smiled, too. “I’m sure we will.”
They got up and hugs were passed around everyone and they said their goodbyes.
“Goodbye Uncle Percy,” Steve said, his voice a little rough with emotion. “Bye, Uncle David. I’ll see you both soon.”
David looked happy and shocked at being called Uncle. Jasper’s daughter would never. But here was this nineteen year old boy whom his partner hadn’t spoken to in literal years being more caring and decent after a single afternoon with him, then Beatrice had her whole life.
So he did the only thing he could, he hugged Steve again, more fiercely this time. “Thank you.”
Steve nodded. He wasn’t sure exactly why David was so grateful, but he understood enough.
As Steve and Eddie walked away, Percy and David watched them get into their car.
“How long do you think it’ll take before those boys realize they’re in love with each other?” David asked.
“I don’t know Eddie very well,” Percy said, thoughtfully, “but I imagine they’ll figure it out before we come visit Hawkins.”
David hummed. If he was a betting man, he would have said the end of the week.
But he just had to wait and see.

Unending, undone.
Larissa Weems x fem reader. (Angst)
Tumblr media
Words: 2k?
Warnings: angst, delusions, unrequited love.
Note: I hate this. one of my wips I need to get rid of, I didn’t want to delete the entire thing, I really couldn’t be bothered to edit and make it better. Anyway- hopefully it’s kinda enjoyable, apologies in advance I wrote this like 7 months ago.
———
It was the weekend and as of that, yourself, Larissa, vlad and the elderly library lady from nevermore were chaperoning the students that wanted to go into Jericho. Before the kids got off the bus it was made clear once again that they will all be departing at 3:30pm and if not accounted for find your own way back to the school and expect consequences.
all departed off the bus to do their own things, old mrs Byrnes to the local library, vlad to the sports and recreation shop, Larissa entered the wethervain and you opted to stroll the streets.
After about two hours of walking in the bone chilling autumn air, you decide to cross the street to take refuge in the weathervane, hoping Larissa is willing to have you as company if she’s still in there, you hadn't seen her since she walked into the café. Reaching the door her silver hair caught your attention, Larissa was sat at her usual booth close to the back almost tucked away, your gaze was strictly on her, eyebrows slightly furrowed eyes glued to a spot out side, but the small twitch of her lips made her seem to be deep in thought. after working with Larissa for a long period of time you found yourself observing her closely, admiring her from afar, knowing, understanding what makes her happy or mad, keeping a mask was enough to fool others but to you, she was like an open book.
Entering, you walked up to the counter, ordered and paid. Turning to face her, she still hadn’t moved, her shoulders rigged and back straight, statue looking. You waltz over, placing your phone and purse on the table in hopes it breaks her trans like state with a simple. “Hey.” It doesn’t. You took to squatting down and wrapping you hand gently around her gloved wrist that was nursing a cup of black coffee, Larissa let out a small gasp turning to face who ever it was that startled her, only to look down a bit to find you.
“Oh how rude of me I didn’t realise you were there, apologies.” She said softly with a forced smile. You didn’t respond, merely giving her a look of concern, the longer she peered into your eyes the more she knew what you were trying to say. “How could I be so daft to think she couldn’t see right through me?” She thought.
“Do you want me to sit across you or beside you?” You asked standing, sounding maybe a little to stern, however when it comes to the people you deeply care about only seriousness and attentiveness are needed plus a ton of comfort. Larissa shifted over in the seat to make room for you and took to peering back out into the town.
"two large hot chocolates?" the waiter asked slipping the cups gently onto the table. You whipped your head around to him. "yes! thank you so much." you said feeling a little reprieved having to take your eyes away from Larissa, although her interest was piqued at the words 'hot' and 'chocolate'. "oh um would you mind taking this one please?" you asked him, whilst dragging the coffee from Larissa grasp. "yeah no worries, enjoy ladies." he said before returning behind the counter.
Larissa was giving you the biggest look, at this point. “I wasn’t fini-“. She began. “No.” You simply said cutting her off. “The amount of sips you took from the time of me being here, to the lack of steam, means you have had the same cup for quite some time, so you have most definitely finished dearest. Not to mention it was straight black coffee, very unlike you.” You stated proudly, whilst pushing her a cup and pulling one towards yourself.
Watching her hesitantly take a drink, not wanting you to see her defeat, you smirked in victory. Sitting in silence for a while you noticed her demeanour shift, reverting back to her former melancholy state. You took to laying your hand on her thigh and tilting your head in a concerned way. Larissa was unfazed by the action, however still hyper aware of you touch.
Stroking your thumb over her exposed knee, “come, we only have ten minutes.” She blinked a few times to settle back into the air of reality before downing the remanence of her drink. You scooted out of the booth and offered a hand to Larissa, you could feel the warmth radiating from her soft leather gloves. Once standing, she habitably smooths down her dress, you take ahold of her upper arm and waltz out of the cafe and towards the bus.
Doing a head count of all the students that re-entered the vehicle you usher vlad and help mrs Byrnes, before resting your hand on the small of Larissa’s back to help her get in, not that she couldn’t do it herself of course, but you felt the need to gently coax her out of her mind and try getting her to focus until she was back at the school.
With all the children off and back on campus, you were the last ones off I the bus. “I’ll take you to your room.” You said, reaching for her hand. Instantly though, she dodged your grasp only to looked at you as if you tried to burn her, confused you took a step back thing you overstepped. After a moment of awkward silence you spoke. “I’ll uh.. I’ll just go and leave you to it.” You said turning to walk away, your face bright red from embarrassment.
Although you must have taken only about three steps until you felt a warm ungloved hand and fingers threaded through your own and another wrapped around your elbow. Stopping, you peered into her eyes trying to figure out what she’s trying to say, but instead of asking you resumed walking with her attached to you.
Reaching her quarters, she let herself inside only to turn around and see you didn’t follow her. Popping her head back out the door to see you walking back to your own room. “Y/n?” She questioned. You turned back to gaze at her. “What are you doing? Did… you want to come in?” She said softly. “I just thought that- well… you? I?” You stuttered not really knowing what you thought. Larissa left the doorway making a b-line for you. “Would you like to come in? I assumed you would come with me.” She started, sounding confident but gradually became more timid.
Nodding as a yes you both walked separately into her home. Your eyes widen in awe at her living decor, all pieces, trinkets and art were the embodiment of Larissa. She was amused at your staring, pointing out a couple of artists to the paintings you seamed fixated on. Your amazement wasn’t just about the objects themselves more the fact that Larissa and yourself have very similar tastes, however she can afford to buy the finer things in life.
Everything was gawked at, Larissa took note of how you shared the same interests. “Y/n? Do you happen to like shoes?….designer shoes?” She asked your face dropped. “Yes! I do.” She smiled and told you to follow her. You entered what seemed to be her very own room and walk in closet. It was beautiful and organised, she bent down and pulled out a few shoe boxes. “I have these brought over from London every couple of months and I haven’t gotten to sending them back, there the wrong sizes, I think they may fit you.” She said. “Really!… I mean no.” You said trying hard not to be overzealous.
She pulled out a pair of black heals. Ones you’ve had your eye on for years and there they were in her grasp. “Here try them on.” She pleaded. “I mustn’t.” You said “sit.” She commanded taking a hold of your shoe and pulling it off putting it on herself. “There perfect. You may have all of them.” She said. “No, Larissa I can’t.” You said. “Either you take them or I’ll find a way to put them in your room.” She said. Giving in you thanked her and you understand how much they cost and will take care of each one.
After a while of sitting on the floor she lay down with her eyes fluttering. “How about I put you to bed hmmm?” You asked. Larissa looked at her watch. “It’s only five.” You placed the shoes back in there boxes and stacked them on top of each other. “Yes but your exhausted, if you like I’ll come back later and bring some food?” You wondered taking a hold of her elbows as she held onto the insides of yours. Larissa didn’t answer, she merely smiled and walked out into her room and paced to a beautiful tall chested draws and pulled out a navy satin sleep set.
You stood awkwardly in the closet doorway as you watched her ‘should I go back and rearrange the shoes or?…’ you thought, not knowing if you should just leave to give her privacy or what. Larissa tossed the set on her ridiculously large and lavish bed and turned to you. “Y/n would you mind unzipping my dress, I just have trouble reaching behind.” She asked. Butterflies erupted in your stomach at her request, your strong, stern and hopeful front melting away.
You reached up and grabbed her zip dragging it down the expanse of her back, her bra clasp came into view as well as the freckles that littered her skin that you hadn’t seen before. Your hands lingered a little to long and Larissa slowly turned to face you. “I know, someone like me not being able to reach is quite sporadic isn’t it.” She blushed ducking her head. “Not at all, not everyone is as flexible as others, I know I’m certainly not.” You said with a chuckle.
Larissa smiled and moved her hand to her shoulder to peal the material away, slow enough for it to be your queue to leave if need be. That you did, you turned on your heals and made your way back into the walk-in robe to peer at her other belongings.
“You can come back.” She spoke softly, if it were you, you’d probably yell it for some reason even if it’s unnecessary. “Larissa?” You asked, walking to her bed pulling back the covers for her, she plopped on the bed taking out her earrings and removing the rest of her jewellery. “Mmm?” She hummed in acknowledgment. You busied yourself with pulling out the pins in her hair and for once you weren’t the first one to relies how intimate the whole afternoon has been.
“Do you think you could tell me what’s going on in your mind.” You asked concentrating on her hair, trying hard not to pull or hurt. Larissa let out a sigh as if she was dreading the question. “I’m just… not myself today. I’ve been thinking of the past a little to much lately and things I should have done and what things I could have done differently, unhealthy I know but that’s all.” She said in a low velvety voice. “I see. You know I’m here to listen to anything you have to say, I support you and care very much about your wellbeing, no matter how laughable that sounds.” You said.
Larissa raised her chin and looked up through her lashes at your face. A doting, sweet expression graced your face. “Thank you, darling.” She whispered. “Lay down, I’ll draw the curtains and I’ll go ok.” You pulled the covers up over her body to get warm.
With the curtains drawn and all things done, you made your way back to Larissa’s side of the bed. Her eyes fluttered shut as you dipped beside her, larissa looked peaceful and relaxed, it’s a little foreign being so close to larissa in her own home and in her most vulnerable state. You couldn’t manage to tear your eyes away from her soft lips and gorgeous free hair, until you relised her pyjamas had slightly fallen down her shoulder. More freckles adorned her pale skin, had you been aware of her lingering gaze you wouldn’t had stared for so long with out a word.
“What’s the matter?” She asked. “Oh! Nothing, I… sorry I was just, admiring.” You confessed. Your skin turned red once again, you could have just lied but what the use in not telling her how utterly beautiful she is. “Admiring?” She asked with a little smile. “Yes. Your just so…” you began. “A curiosity.” She whispered with her eyes turning sad and seemingly hurt. “No not at all, your beautiful, stunning, exquisite even.” You grinned down at her seeing the way her eyes sparkle at your words.
“Oh.” She said clearly not ready for you to say such wonderful things to her. ‘I love you’. You thought. For the longest time you had been alone and so had Larissa, it feels like your saving each other from drowning in loneliness, a life raft for one another. Her expression changed to complete confusion with wide eyes. “What?” You asked. “You-just…. Did you just say I love you.” She asked almost out of breath. ‘No. No fucking way I just did that.’ Without thinking you shot up and ran to the door and left without so much as a peep.
“Wait-no! Please, I, y/n!” Larissa shouted clambering off and out of the bed, she ripped out her dressing gown and slipped on a pair of flats within 30 seconds and sprinted to your quarters through passage ways to avoid potential eyes. Arriving, she knocked on the door relentlessly to no avail, only to find that the door was unlocked. Stepping in the room cautiously she found you curled in bed with multiple layers of bedding covering your shaking body. Larissa took it upon herself to remove her shoes and gown before fighting you to let go of your vice grip on the blankets, you were laying on your stomach with your face pressed into the pillows. Larissa sunk down into the bed slipping beside you re-covering you both with the covers before she turned on her side and wrapped her arms around your waist and pulled you flush to her, front to front.
You hid your head in your hands against her breasts wishing your were invisible. “Y/n. I need you to look at me for what I’m about to say.” She asked, earning a whimper of refusal from you. So she did what was necessary, Larissa grasped your hands prying them away from your face to be met with a wet mess of a face, your eyes open and involuntarily you mouth twitches into a small smile just by looking at her, but faded when you remember what just happened revoking your sight and shutting your eyes again. “Look at me love.” She asked, cupping your cheek using the backs of her fingers to wipe away the tears.
You took a deep breath and looked at her again. “Y/n..” she started. “I love you to.” She said running her fingers through your hair. You stared at her and waited for her to continue. “You asked me what I was thinking about today and I told you I wasn’t feeling like myself… but the truth is, I was watching you for a while this morning, admiring. But I relised that you could never want me. You could never possibly feel the same. Then when you walked in I started to think about previous relationships I’ve had and how terrible they turned out.”
You couldn’t believe it, Larissa Weems, your boss and friend, the most elegant and graceful woman you had ever met loves you. “I-I…” you stuttered , but being unable to conjure words the only option was to show her how you feel. You moved your hands to her face and slowly moved up, each others breath’s mingling, noses and lips lightly brushing, you pull back just to look into her eyes silently asking if it were ok. Larissa crashed her lips onto yours, passionate and strong but oh so loving.
Or at least that's what you wished would of happened if she hadn't let you go back to you quarters when you arrived back at the school. if only Larissa had caught up to you when you turned to leave her, if only she threaded her fingers through your own and stopped you. The small imaginary scenarios are what keeps your mind active but heart heavy, you wouldn't be laying in bed sobbing dreaming of such delusional things, but i suppose we cant all get the ones we love in the end right?
______
its been a week since your little awkward incident and both yourself and Larissa have been avoiding each other like the plague, although every night Larissa walks past your quarters to get back to her own, trying to have enough courage to just ask if your ok, but never does, not until she heard struggled breaths and choked sobs emanating from within your room. it was quiet late, very late in fact, almost ten past three in the morning.
she stood outside your door with her back resting on the architrave. "i don't know what I'm supposed to do, i mean i look so stupid crying over a woman i know doesn't want me, why would she? i give her no reason for her to be interested in me, I'm nothing, no one, but is it so wrong to be in love with Larissa?" you asked talking to no one in particular out your window. Larissa's pursed lips pried open in disbelief at your words.
she turned and and without hesitation knocked, wanting- needing to see you, needing your eyes to look at her, needing to be close, not caring who or what you were talking to. after a brief moment you swung open the door with furrowed brows until you saw her, your face dropped at her appearance.
standing there in silence her eyes seemed to tell you something you couldn't understand. Larissa brushed past you and welcomed herself into your room, confused, you closed the door to face her. "I'm afraid I've been quite the asshole." she said. "pardon?" you asked. “I’m sorry y/n, it’s been hard avoiding you and if you would let me… I’d like to apologise and hopefully we can work on this.” She said gesturing between the two of you.
You stood planted to the ground until you took small steps towards her and embraced her in a hug as an acceptance. “I don’t know what you’re going through right now but I only wish to help, please don’t push me away. Even though you don’t feel the same way about me, assuming you just heard, then that’s ok.” You said pulling away from her looking into Larissa’s sad eyes. “I think I can love you, I will learn to, I have to learn how to love again first y/n, but I won’t push you away I’ll try to keep you close I promise.”
At that you lead her out to your balcony and sat down watching the stars soaking in this new kind of relationship, whether it will eventuate into something more then a friendship doesn’t matter because at the end of the day Larissa knows you will always be there, the cards are now resting in her hands, not all expectations are met, not every story ends happily, but for now it’s just the two of you, no one else and you will forever be bonded, now we will never know.
