i lied. put your clothes back on. we’re going to talk about how if dc didn’t kill off kara back in the 80s and made it a point to keep her dead for 18 years because of their misogyny, she would’ve been one of dc’s most prominent characters (like dick grayson is right now) with a 100+ issues run during the 90’s, a great supporting cast and a variety of villains. instead, for the last 20 years, she’s been deaged to a teen three times, each time more detrimental than the last. she’s in the best position she’s been ever since she came back because now she’s an adult again, yet dc keeps giving her stories to be written by people who don’t understand her.

Trynna make a proper ref sheet for this fella (maybe for artfight??) but he’s actually boring as hell to make a ref sheet of because she is an entirely joke character so 1) she can switch clothes depending on the bit he wants to commit to, 2) can also switch genders depending on the joke, and 3) doesn’t have any colours unless the joke calls for it. My ref sheet is gonna be empty af, how are you supposed to make a reference for a character whose appearance changes all the time??

Im in love with how the hearts are represented by nether stars,, its just one really cool to think of, instead of it being some modded in thing.

Like do you think the lifesteal members ever look at the night sky and think its alive? The night sky so full of lives, shining and shimmering just out of reach. Do they stare at the nightsky with greed, those with less hearts, do they stare with envy?

Do they ever kill the wither and think how remarkably similar they are to hearts? Holding the nether star close, like it might give them a life back. Do they identify witht he wither, they also drop those same stars when they die after all?

And then, how does it feel to hold a star/life. Does it burn like a real star? Is it freezing cold? Does it thump in rhythms or pulse with light? We are all made of star dust after all, the lifesteal members are just more star than most.
