Warnings: kidnapping, abuse, obsessive behaviours, possessive behaviours, unhealthy mindset, manipulation, The Grabber

(Y/N) had been saving multiple boys from the basement but was unable to help them escape because the Grabber had upped security in the house to make sure that none of the boys ever escaped.

(Y/N) managed to sneak the boys some food (mainly her own meals) and in return they told her about the world outside of the house they were all trapped in.

When she saved the most recent victim, Robin, however, the Grabber gave her a strict warning after beating her.

"If you take the next boy out of this basement, I'll fucking kill you! Do you hear me?!" Was his threat and it lingered in (Y/N)'s mind.

(Y/N) was terrified of this, even though she was almost always on the brink of death due to lack of food and the heavy amount of beatings.

But to be able to protect the other boys, she knew she couldn't hide away the next one, it would be the end of her life and in turn, the end of the rest of the boys’ lives.

But she had an idea about how to help the boy.

She found some old walkie talkies and hid one in the basement and kept the other in the secret room with the other boys so they could give the next boy advice.

Once the next boy was in the basement, the Grabber's brother came to visit, so (Y/N) was locked in her room, since she too, was a kidnapped child.

(Y/N) was becoming very weak and it took a lot of effort to move.

So while she was locked in her room, the Grabber would barely come to see her and deliver food.

He only did that early in the morning then never came back until the next morning, so that gave (Y/N) time to talk to the boys.

They were her first friends and the only connection she had to the outside world.

She had no idea what life outside of the Grabber’s house was like, so everything they told her made her so curious to what the outside world was like.

Bruce and Robin were her favourite friends since they were always nice to her and told her about everything in detail.

Bruce found it a bit funny even that she liked fairytales so much and would often tell her that she was like Rapunzel, beautiful not knowing what the outside world was like.

This made (Y/N) smile since she didn’t feel beautiful, especially with all of her bruises and scars but Rapunzel was supposed to be a beautiful princess despite being held captive.

But then (Y/N) noticed something after a few days, the Grabber came into her room more frequently with more meals, which made her think that the person downstairs left already.

But because (Y/N) was giving the boys almost all of her food, she became weaker and weaker until she could barely give the boys food anymore.

By using the walkie talkie, the boys were able to communicate with the new victim, Finney.

They gave him advice on how to escape and Finney managed to get out the door and start running but he then was captured again.

Luckily, by using the advice from the rest of the boys, after Finney was recaptured, he managed to kill the Grabber and leave the house.

The police entered the house after Finney came out and began getting checked on by professionals.

The boys had heard the snap of the Grabber's neck through the walkie talkie, so they exited the secret room, knowing it was safe to do so.

But (Y/N) wasn't able to move due to injuries and extreme hunger.

Vance carried her out as they all quickly left the house and encountered the police, who recognized them as the missing boys.

They didn't know who (Y/N) was but she was loaded into an ambulance and driven to the hospital.

She was kept there for quite some time to recover since she had severe injuries and was extremely malnourished.

The boys who she saved often came to visit and Robin brought Finney along to meet her once.

The boys, that were kidnapped before Finney, thought of (Y/N) as their saviour and soon Finney thought of her that way too because if she hadn't intervened, then all of them would be dead.

She was making a slow recovery as the police tried to locate her parents.

But they were struggling to find her parents since (Y/N) had no recollection of her last name or her parents, she didn’t even know if (Y/N) was her actual name since it was the name the Grabber called her.

Since she managed to recover before the police found her parents, Griffin’s mother, Ms.Stagg, volunteered to take care of (Y/N) in the meantime since she noticed how attached Griffin was to (Y/N).

Griffin and (Y/N) developed a strong, sibling-like bond and (Y/N) was very protective of the small boy.

But with (Y/N) living with Griffin, he did his best to make sure that (Y/N) wouldn’t hang out with the other boys she saved, and that he could brag about all the fun things he did with (Y/N).

Like building a pillow fort together, how she would read him stories, giving him piggy back rides and how when he said he had a nightmare, she would let him cuddle with her until he fell asleep.

The other boys were very pissed off by this, they wanted to be around (Y/N) so badly, they wanted to joke and laugh with her, talk to her about their stresses, make her happy but Griffin was amazing at restricting their interactions.

(Y/N) was honestly just happy to be out of the Grabber’s house and having the feeling of a family.

The other boys thought that maybe when the police found (Y/N)’s parents, they could have more interactions with her since she’d be around Griffin a lot less.

But those hopes were shattered because it turned out that when the police were looking through the Grabber’s house, they found two bodies, two adult bodies.

They managed to recently connect the dots and figure out that these were (Y/N)’s parents.

As it turns out, the Grabber had become so attached to (Y/N) that he wanted to make sure that she never had anything to go back to, therefore he killed her parents, so he could be her only parental figure, so she really would think that he was her dad.

(Y/N) would’ve been more upset had she known her parents but it was still distressing news.

Ms.Stagg took initiative to adopt (Y/N) since she was growing to love the girl like the daughter she never had.

Griffin made sure to brag about how (Y/N) was now officially his sister and basically did his best to piss off the others with how much he was bragging.

They decided to secretly find ways to meet up and hang out with (Y/N).

They set up little ‘shifts’ where one boy would distract Griffin and the others could hang out with (Y/N).

Bruce and Finney taught her how to play baseball, or at least brought her to their games.

Vance made her watch him play pinball at the Grab ‘n’ Go as he beat his records, then would buy some kind of candy for her with the pocket change he had.

Robin would take (Y/N) to the drive in movie theatre to watch horror movies, especially if she was terrified by them, because it would give Robin an excuse to cuddle (Y/N).

Billy would take her on early morning bike rides with him as he did his paper route.

But Griffin soon found out about what the boys were doing and was furious.

He didn’t want to share his older sister!

She saved him first!

She talked to him first!

No one else should be around her besides his mom and himself!

After he found out, he would throw a tantrum every time that one of the boys tried to get him away from (Y/N) then smirk at the boy as he walked away with her.

Griffin attachment to (Y/N) was like a toddler with their favourite toy, never ever wanting to it go.

This made the others frustrated but luckily for them, Finney is a genius.

He decided to approach (Y/N) and start talking to her while Griffin was around.

Griffin whined and complained but his efforts to get (Y/N) away from Finney failed.

She would instead scold Griffin, and tell him that she was talking to someone and that they would hangout later.

Once the rest of the boys witnessed this, they began using the same strategy angering Griffin to an extreme.

Griffin then began ignoring (Y/N), pretending she didn’t exist, in an attempt to get her attention back on him.

But the boys kept (Y/N) so distracted that she didn’t even notice, which made Griffin extremely upset.

The boys just loved her big and beautiful smile, something they barely saw while she was trapped in the Grabber’s house.

Eventually, Griffin's attempt of getting (Y/N)’s attention began working, causing the others to spend less time with her as she was trying to rebuild her relationship with her younger brother.

Vance eventually got the idea that instead of sneaking around behind Griffin's back or hanging out with (Y/N) in front of him, why not become allies with Griffin?

If Griffin liked him enough, then Vance would be allowed to hang out or even ask out (Y/N).

Vance never, ever told the others about this because if it worked, then he could have (Y/N) all to himself even though he did technically need to share with Griffin.

It was all a big competition for (Y/N)’s affections but who would win this contest?

It wasn’t uncommon for fights to break out, even less uncommon for Robin to be apart of them. Wether it was someone being snarky or someone pushed him around the wrong way, Robin was always ready.

Each time he’d gotten into a tussle you had been there to help clean him up, this time was no different. Some guys in your grade had been saying things about you that Robin didn’t approve of, being best friends with him had it’s perks and that was definitely one of them.

By the time you had made your way through the crowd the fight was over, his face was a bit more beat up then usual, two against one, it was bound to happen.

You sighed as Robin walked up to you, his expression read he was still angry. Clutching your books to your chest you nodded away from the crowd. “come, let me clean ya up” offering a small smile turning on your heels you lead the way down to the boys bathroom at the back of the school.

Robin followed you with his head hung low, you held the door for him walking in after. you couldn’t remember how many times the two of you had came to this bathroom that year.

Following the usual routine you placed your books down on the sink, Robin leaned against the wall. pulling a cloth, some wrap and a small eye drop container of alcohol from your bag, it had happened enough times you always had supplies on you.

Wetting the cloth y/n begins gently cleaning away the blood on his face. Robin never said how much he appreciated the things y/n did for him, they where always there for him. Wether it was helping him with his math homework or cleaning the blood off his face, he adored them for it.

y/n dropped the alcohol on the other side of the cloth, being as careful as they could they dabbed the cut on his brow bone. The long haired boy winced grabbing ahold of y/n’s waist, looking into the boys eye with a gentle look they spoke softly “I’m sorry, i have to or it’ll get infect-”

Their words cut short, Robins hand had made it’s way to y/n’s chin pulling them closer. Robin didn’t think about his actions as he kissed them lovingly, to his surprise you didn’t pull away. Rather melted closer into his touch.

The moment ended quicker then either of them would have liked, a small smile rested on y/n’s lips. Robins hand still held their cheek, his thumb brushed soft lines on their skin.

“Thank you, for everything” his words came out soft as he admired the person standing before him. y/n tilted their head into his touch. “Robin you know if do anything for you”

But i didn't it just kept going and going that (name) was showing up at home all bloodied and bruised up. Robin asked him so many times but (name) didn't say anything. So robin had a plan, teach (name) how to fight his bullies off.

"take a fast step forward, step back and swing" robin said to hit little brother, showing him with an old telephone head. (name) tried it but almost hit himself in the eye with the cord. "watch out (name) don't want your eyes falling out" robin said laughing at his little brother.

kidnappings had been going around so that's another reason why robin is teaching (name) how to fight. last week vance hopper was kidnapped and a lot of people weren't doing anything so that's why robin wanted his little brother safe when he isn't around him.

Robin piled up clothes on the grass making it look like a punching bag. "i want you to punch this for a good 10 minutes while i got and get something and then i will teach you how to kick" robin said to his brother, asking finney to watch him for protection. FINNEY BLAKE

⭐ Finn was happy that you won prom queen/king but a little upset that he didn't win and stayed by your side but still very happy for you.

⭐ when pig's blood is poured all over you finn feels mixed feelings of anger and sadness he can't believe that such a cruel thing was actually done to you.

⭐ Finn along with Gwen and Robin take you out of the prom and try to take you out of the spotlight.

⭐ the three take you to your house where Gwen helps you clean up, Finn tries to comfort you and make you forget about that terrible night and of course it doesn't work very well.

⭐ Finn is determined to find out who it was that pulled that horrible prank on you and á he finds out who it was he will make that person's life hell.

☀️ A little jealous that he didn't get to be prom king with you but he's getting over it.

♠️ Vance takes you to his house and as he cleans you up he makes a speech swearing that he's going to end the life of the person who played that "little prank" on you as a weird way of comforting you.

♠️ but Vance didn't lie about killing the person who put you through this humiliation he won't rest until he kills this asshole.

⚾ Bruce earns the title of prom king with you so he was on your side when all the disaster struck.

⚾ He is shocked by what he saw and immediately takes you offstage.

⚾ Bruce takes you to his house he spends the night with you and tries in every way to comfort you and try to take your mind off this horrible event.

⚾ not long after Bruce discovers that it was his friends who pulled this horrible prank and it shocked him and made him feel a mixture of anger, sadness and guilt.

⚾ Bruce says that it was his friends who pulled that prank on their parents which made his friends get grounded and Bruce also reveals all the dirt on his friends thus ruining their reputations.

You held Robin’s hand as you walked him back home. His face and knuckles were bloodied and his face bore an expression you couldn't decipher. He squeezed your hand tightly as you walked, staring at the ground. Right now, you were concerned with getting Robin home more than anything. After that, you would make sure he was alright. As you came upon the doorstep, you pulled open the unlocked door and ushered Robin inside. You lead him to the bathroom and sat him down on the toilet as you began to gather some bandages.

“You ok, Robin?” You asked quietly, turning to him. He glanced up to you then back to the tile floor, sniffling slightly. You gathered some gauze and bandages, then wet a washcloth to wipe the blood off him. 

“Look at me,” you instructed him, lifting his chin to see his face better. He looked up to you and watched as you worked. You gently wiped the blood off his face, revealing where his injuries were. Some of the blood was his, some wasn’t, but now it all blended together. You carefully ran the cloth over some of his cuts, causing him to wince. “Sorry.”

When his face was clean, you picked up his left hand and a bottle of antiseptic you had gotten out of the cabinet. You poured some on a cotton round and ran it over the injuries on his hand, Robin shut his eyes as the stinging sensation emulated from the alcohol. When you finished with his left hand, you rest it on his thigh and picked up his right. He sighed and leaned his head back against the wall as you disinfected his knuckles. When the blood was mostly washed off, you let the liquid dry and grabbed the roll of gauze you had taken out. 

“Talk to me, Robin. I don’t like seeing you like this,” you said sadly as you began to roll the gauze around his scraped knuckles. 

“It’s nothing, really,” he said, a tone in his voice that you couldn’t quite make out. “I just didn’t like the way he was talking.” You nodded your head.

“Yeah, that shit was uncalled for,” you agreed, tying a knot on the gauze and picked up Robin’s other hand. “I’m sorry he said that, you didn’t deserve that.”

“I’ve heard worse,” Robin sighed, resting his bandaged hand on the counter to his left and you worked on his other.

“Doesn’t mean you should hear it,” you said, your eyes glancing up to his. He looked sad.

You tied a knot on the gauze again, and rest his hand down, kneeling to be more on his level. You wet another cotton round with alcohol and brought it up to his face. He retracted slightly and you paused. 

“I know it sucks, but it’ll suck even worse if this crap gets infected,” you said, looking at his cuts. He leaned back towards you, taking your free hand in his as you began to clean the scrapes. You tried to be gentle, but you knew there wasn’t much you could do about the pain. 

“I know, I know,” you sighed as you watched Robin wince under you. 

You ran the round over the cut on his cheek, one on the bridge of his nose, and one just on his hairline. When you pulled the cotton away, it was strained red with blood but not as badly as the one that graced his knuckles. 

“Almost done,” you assured him as you reached for the bandaids. You pulled a couple out of the box and rest them next to you on the sink. You opened the first one and applied it to his cheek, the next one to his nose, careful to avoid his eyes, and the last to his forehead. “And that’s it.”

“Thanks, Y/N,” Robin smiled as he continued to hold your hand. 

“Anytime, Robin.”

(Y/N) was Griffin Stagg's adoptive mother.

She was constantly caring for her son while also working to try to pay the bills.

She had been his babysitter when he was 6 and his father was around but one day, he just never came back during one of her babysitting jobs.

And (Y/N) was about 23 at the time, and decided that caring for Griffin and being his parent was her new job.

Despite taking on a lot of hours to make ends meet, she always made time in her schedule to care for Griffin.

Griffin adored his adoptive mother.

She would read him stories at night, help him with homework and try her best to buy him some toys with the limited money she had.

Griffin appreciated everything she did and loved (Y/N) so much.

Then one day he went missing.

(Y/N) had multiple breakdowns, would hang posters all over town, called the police asking for updates on his whereabouts and even searching for him everyday after work.

Many people saw as the young woman would knock on people's doors asking if they've seen Griffin and showing them photos of him.

She was getting desperate and once she broke down right in front of her house, sobbing her eyes out, praying that Griffin was going to come home.

Almost everyone in town felt awful but there was nothing they could do.

Then more children went missing over the course of a year and a half then people seemed to forget about Griffin.

(Y/N) overstressed herself with work and the search for Griffin and had collapsed more than once and sometimes in public.

People were heavily concerned for her but she brushed it off.

When Griffin and all the other boys were found, (Y/N) received a phone call.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi. This Officer Williams, is this Griffin Stagg's mother?" A voice on the other line asked.

"YES! I mean! Yes, that's me! Did you finally find him?" She replied, her voice showing her hope.

"We found him. Please come to ********* on ****** street, he's here." Officer Williams told her.

(Y/N) hung up the phone and rushed to the address, not caring that her feet were aching in her heels or that her hair was becoming increasingly tangled as she ran against the wind.

Once she made it to the address, she was out of breath and took a moment to get back into a somewhat calmer breathing pattern before looking for Griffin in the swarm of police cars and ambulances.

She then spotted him, wrapped in a blanket, sitting in the back of an ambulance talking with another boy.

"Griffin!" (Y/N) cried as tears began forming in her eyes and she hurriedly walked over to him.

"Mom!" He shouted before running towards her.

(Y/N) engulfed the boy in a hug as she cried.

"You've changed so much!" She said after pulling away from the hug and examining his face, noticing how thin he had gotten and how small he still was.

"I missed you so much Mom. Everyday I thought about you and that helped me survive. Cause I didn't want you to be sad or alone." Griffin told her.

This statement made more tears fall down (Y/N)'s cheeks before she hugged him again.

"I looked for you every day Griffy. I knew you were okay. I'm so glad you're okay." (Y/N) whispered as she cried.

After a few months of recovery, the formerly kidnapped boys began meeting up.

Every time they came to Griffin's house, (Y/N) would treat them like her own children.

She would smother them with affection and they adored it, especially Vance, who's own mother was too busy to care about him.

Vance would often stay around the Stagg house so much to the point where he basically moved in.

(Y/N) treated him like a second son and Vance acted like an older brother to Griffin.

Finney would often come over and bring his younger sister Gwen, who (Y/N) adored.

All of the children loved (Y/N) because of how protective and kind she was towards them.

But sometimes when walking around school, some kids would talk and laugh about (Y/N) because of her behaviour when Griffin went missing.

When Vance, Robin, and hell, even Finney and Bruce hear this, they’re immediately hounding on those kids.

All of them have grown extremely protective of the young woman since she’s like a mother to them (For Bruce, another mother since he already has a caring one).

None of them want (Y/N) to be badmouthed or date someone because what if she forgets about them?

Vance, Bruce, Robin and Finney deal with the people who badmouth (Y/N) while Griffin, Billy and Gwen terrorize the people trying to date her.

Then even after all of that, they pretend to be (Y/N)’s sweet little angelic children (emotionally not adopted, though she’s tempted for most of them).

They adore the sweet woman too much to let her go.

I sat on Robin’s bed playing with a stretch armstrong i found on his floor upon entering. It was entertaining for a while but quickly became a bore.

Watching the door of the boys bedroom burst open, a very distraught Robin stood for a moment. Not saying a single word he went back on his hunt.

Noticing something missing, my eyes slightly squinted trying to figure out what was missing on the boy. After a moment it hit me. His bandana wasn’t on his head.

He kept his collection well organized hanging on his wall, though one was missing. ‘that must be what he’s looking for..’ i thought to myself, watching him scramble around the room, tossing things left and right.

A small laugh slipped through your lips pulling Robin out of his deep concentration he looked at you confused. “what are you laughing at?” He hissed meaner then he had anticipated. Your brows nuzzled closer together at his tone.

Shaking his head he sat on his bed next to you. “i’m sorry…” lifting his head he looked at you closely, examining like looking for something.

“is that mine?” he gestured to the bandana you had put in your hair that day, pushing your lips together in attempts to hide your growing smile you nodded.

A chuckle left the long haired boys lips, hands coming to your face he adjusted the way your hair sat beneath it. “You know, I’ve been looking for that the whole time. You could have mentioned you had it, saved me some time.”

“I know” your words were gentle “Just thought it was funny, ya know? Watching you run around like you’re head was chopped off” playfully his eyes rolled at your comment.

“I’m sure it was soooo entertaining” his face covered with fake annoyance, breaking with a smile “It looks good on you, but for god sake please just tell me next time” he pleaded, not wanting to destroy his room again looking for his bandanas

You laughed nodding “okay, okay I’ll make sure to tell, promise” holding up your pinky, he looked at it for a moment before locking his with yours kissing his thumb to lock in your promise.

summary: throughout the entire school day you've been randomly booping robin's nose, and he's just so damn confused-

a/n: i gotchu anon! i'm also gonna assume you meng booping his nose- :] you can also see this as platonically or romantically!

It was currently half way through the school day, and you were sitting in 5th period, staring at the front of the classroom, completely zoned out of your mind.

Your head was practically empty, and you weren't paying any attention to the board or what the teacher was saying simply because; you didn't care. At all. You'd already learned this, perks of repeating the school year.

Due to the fact that you were just, absolutely out of it, you failed to notice the gaze boring into the back of your head, practically burning holes.

And it belonged to no one other than Robin Arellano, your best friend since kindergarten.

His elbow was propped up on the flat surface of the desk, palm of his hand fitted perfectly underneath his chin. He was twirling his pen in his other hand, brows furrowed; a puzzled look on his face.

Why might you ask?

Well, because you had been confusing him all day by just carrying out a simple action.

Booping his nose.

It left him with heated cheeks and a flustered feeling. Sure he got affection at home, but not any physical affection. Not from his people and the people he saw as friends.

So why ..

His thoughts were interrupted as the bell abruptly rang, watching as you immediately stood up and turned to him, a wide grin on your face.

You pranced up to him, "Robin come on! Let's go get something from the vending machine before class starts, I've got money!"

He didn't answer your question. "Why do you keep touching my nose?" His brows furrow, crossing his arms.

You blinked, unsure of what he was asking before you got a grip on it, grinning even wider. "Oooh, you mean this?" And as soon as you said that you reach out, pad of your thumb pressing against the tip of his nose.

And instantly, he can feel his cheeks heating up once again.

He's instantly pulling his face away from your thumb, nose scrunching up. "Don't do that." Robin grumbled, looking at the ground.

Though, you just grin even wider, giggling a little. Reaching up, you ruffle his hair. "Awww, are you getting all flustered?"

"What? Of course not."

You roll your eyes, "yeah yeah whatever. Come on, let's go to the vending machine before we have to go to next period."

He narrowed his eyes at you, but still walked behind you as you set sail to the schools vending machine.

Robin would never admit it, but he really liked it when you did that. It felt comforting to him, even though it was so small.
