Genuinely it is so funny that Laura and Marisha meant to have a completely platonic relationship and then they both tripped and faceplanted directly into romantic feelings. Roughly around the same time too. Well done ladies. Best failure I've ever seen.

No you don't understand how important it is to me that Caleb and Essek have this soft, deep, profound love for each other. These two people who were so broken and saw themselves as so damaged and irredeemable and utterly damned, having the chance to heal together and cultivate this sweet, gentle relationship with each other. The fact that they can now carve out moments of joy together, that they proved you can change and better yourself, with time and effort and love.
Matt taking the time to show that even in just a few little ways, to let Essek express his love so casually and with so much reverence and care is just AUGH. That's how you do redemption arcs. He understood the assignment. That's not only respecting the players for the time they put in to creating these characters and their pathways for growth, but also saying to your players (and viewers), "it's possible. Everyone deserves a second chance at happiness."
They redeemed themselves, together.

"I'm fine to be wrong, but let's just talk about it. Let's let that be the opening gambit."
Sorry, y'all, but Orym is 100% right here. Like, sure, Orym walked in wielding that blade without consultation, but Laudna fucking attacked and damaged him first. Jesus christ. As soon as someone suggests that the blade might be cursed, Orym puts it onto the table to be identified -- as soon as a challenge comes up, he puts his soul on the table, bared. He puts himself up to be questioned, criticized. In this situation, he was the only one willing to compromise -- if Laudna had approached him for a talk, he would've been open to it. but instead she gave in to Delilah and attacked her party member.

I really loved Travis's behaviour throughout the fight, he was really keeping things light despite being the first one down, smiling and laughing at every turn (perhaps as a façade, perhaps to influence the other players with the tangible threat of a TPK), he could see how distraught Matt was and was just encouraging him as well as the other players, keeping that communication open that this is a game they're all playing together and Matt can't help his really good dice rolls, he was just a total champ last night, huge kudos to him

... I'm smoking, and I'm moving around a baseball around in my hand. And I'm counting the stitches. 'Cause it's a Möbius loop, it's just one line of stitches, I'm counting - kind of like a rosary.
"Take me out to the ball game..."
I'm watching Candela Obscura for the first time and my brain just went "hey what if we drew Sean with huge Ghibli tears wouldn't that be fun???
