this post is just some info on yesterday's DA:TV Fandom party at SDCC. :>

There was no new DA:TV information of note from the party

As was previously reported the other week, Jason Derulo headlined the party (like as in a gig). Here's an image of him there [source] (the him singing DA stuff part was a joke tho btw hh). They considered having an orchestra because of DA's musical score but they got Jason Derulo

There was also an archway prop based on this DA:TV key art, and big screens which projected images from the game (including of Varric and this screenshot) [source]. It looks like these images were also projected to television screens? [source]

There was a VIP section at the party [source]. Gary McKay, the General Manager of BioWare, was there [source], as were John Epler and Zach Mendez (Lucanis) [source], Ali Hillis (Harding) [source], Nick Boraine (Emmrich) [source], Kari a BioWare Brand Director [source], Jessica Clark (Neve) [source] and Corinne Busche [source]. Erika Ishii (Rook) also visited but got kicked out of VIP hh [source]. Some cosplayers from the DA community were also personally invited by BioWare & PR at EA Games and attended! like Ladytoxie as Bellara ^^ [source, two], and some celebrities also, such as Doug Jones [source]

Ladytoxie mentioned that they will be posting a Vlog of their experience and coverage of the event, "probably next week" [source], having documented it at the time [source] (tysm!!)

Ladytoxie reported that it was a good, memorable experience and that everyone was lovely [source]

There was supposed to be some DA:TV-related pins and lanyards being handed out at the party, but these got stuck at customs, so there wasn't any goodies being handed out [source]

Steve taking care of Eddie’s wings and fangs are so important to me and I need to see it in my screen. Sometimes Eddie gets a toothache whenever he eats, it hurts a lot more since everything about his body has changed. He tried not to bother Steve about it but it just hurts so bad that he starts crying. Steve makes sure to help Eddie with rinsing his mouth with salt, help him floss even though he hates it, and after all of that Steve wraps his arms around him the gently place something cold in the side of his jaw to stop the throbbing. It takes Eddie days to fully recover from having a toothache because his fang were really sensitive to everything, Steve always knew exactly what to do when Eddie would come to him with tears building up in his eyes. They would cuddle in Steve’s bed for hours until Eddie was able to get back into the grove of things and he would softy rub Eddie’s head while he laid his head on his chest.

When it came to his wings Steve would scrub them softly with a sponge to make them nice and clean. They were also very sensitive and Steve didn’t want Eddie to be in any pain. After Steve was done with cleaning his wings Eddie would make them flutter and water would get all over Steve. Both of them would fill the room with laughter while they cleaned up the mess that’s been made. Eddie didn’t know that being a vampire would require this much maintenance but luckily for him Steve never turned away because of that. He loved taking care of Eddie and helping him adapt to this new life that he had to live.

The more serious the injury, the more energy will be spent, so VERY serious injuries can put him into a state of savagery in order to make up for the shortage sooner.

Ack sorry in advance this one is... Not Fun??? *hides under my desk* idk where this idea came from but I ended up writing it as a way to feel more comfortable writing Arabia/Ivy (there's nothing quite like putting character's in a crisis to get to know them better I guess??). Anyways, idk if I'm gonna post this one because everyone will banish me to angst jail and attack me with hammers and mean comments haha. But uh, here you go?? Enjoy???? (abuse tw)

Arabella curls up into a ball with her back against the headboard, trying to make herself as small as possible, trying to get away from the awful sounds coming from the next room, now entirely unmistakable as Satine’s boyfriend hitting her while she begs for him to stop. “You’re okay, Bella,” Ivy murmurs, momentarily covering the receiver with one hand while she rubs Arabella’s leg with the other. “They’re on the way. They’ll be here in a few minutes. It’s going to be okay.” Arabella shakes her head; she can’t seem to stop trembling, but it feels like it’s happening to someone else. Something glass shatters next door and Satine sobs and Arabella thinks she’s going to be sick right here on the mattress. Nothing about this is okay. She wants to lean closer to her girlfriend but she can’t seem to make herself move; besides, everything inside her is screaming at her to get away from everyone. Arabella covers her ears and squeezes her eyes shut tight, trying to block out the sound of her friend’s suffering, feeling guilty all the while that she has this option. There’s another loud thump from next door and Satine’s voice cuts off mid-scream. Ivy drops the receiver, her hand stilling on Arabella’s knee. For a moment neither of them moves or even dares to breathe, both imagining the worst. It turns out there is a more horrible noise than her friend’s cries for help, and that’s them going abruptly, horrifically, bone-chillingly silent.

i remembered this thing that happened like two years ago that this israhelli kpop festival was happening and ateez were invited and i remember everyone was like kq wtf?? but turns out that festival was a lie one of the people organizing it made up the fact they were going without anyone’s consent i even remember kq put out a statement that they had no idea about it and in fact when you went to ateez’s official schedule around that time nothing was there so they literally made it up and lied about it which something these people are very good at apparently
