Hey anon! Good to have you back! I’m always so happy when this message pops up in my inbox, you wouldn’t believe it 💜

Thanks for sticking with me through all my ramblings and novel-length replies to this. (I lovingly call you “my Smackdown anon” inside my own head & if you couldn’t tell, I’m rather fond of you!) 

Short answer: Honestly? I LOVED the latest episode of SD 😭 The only thing I didn’t care for was the AJ Styles/Karrion Kross thing, but other than that the show was really right up my alley!

Segment by segment under the cut (as always):

Charlotte vs. Asuka: I loved seeing the women open the show! Kinda gives me hope that we’ll finally be having a couple of good feuds in the women’s division again. We’ll see. The match was really good and I didn’t mind the finish with Damage CTRL interfering. I’d love to see an actual Iyo/Asuka feud over the championship, so I’m still kinda hoping they’ll bring a heel!Bianca back into the mix to feud with Charlotte far away from the championship picture. I also hope they’ll keep the title on Iyo for a while, so the eventual Iyo/Bayley feud can involve the title. That’s my wishful thinking though. My guess is they’re going for a triple threat Iyo/Charlotte/Asuka for this one? But I’m still not sure where Bianca fits in, so I still have hope.

AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross: Like I said, I do not care and I doubt I ever will. The Karrion Kross thing is simply not working for me and I’m bored. I love seeing Michin though, so that’s a little light in the dark that was this match/ this entire "feud".

Edge/ Sheamus Promo: God this promo made me so emotional. I’m not gonna lie, I cried. A LOT. Edge is the wrestler who turned me into a fan as a kid. His match against Mick Foley at WM turned me from a casual watcher into a devoted fan/weekly watcher all the way back then. (I know I keep repeating myself, but this man is why I’m a wrestling fan in the first place and in a different reality with different physical limitations I would’ve become a wrestler because of him). When he retired for the first time, I was in a state of complete shock and didn’t stop crying over it for a long long time. Hell, I even had to stop watching for a while back then. His comeback is still one of my favorite memories of all time and if the rumor mill is telling the truth and the match against Sheamus truly is his last one… then I’m so glad I got to witness his second run and that he gets to go out on his own terms and share the ring with the person who got him back into it in the first place. These two mean so much to each other and each other’s careers, so seeing them in the ring together? God I’m not even gonna see the match through all these tears, am I? Guaranteed banger incoming! The point is: I fucking LOVE Edge, okay? He’ll always be the man who got me hooked on wrestling and he’ll always be one of the greatest to ever do it.

LA Knight vs. Top Dolla: I say it every week. LA Knight needs longer matches and better opponents. But I like what they have going on with him and Miz over on Raw, so I didn’t mind this as much as I usually would. His lil promo was another feel good moment. I feel like this SD was full of these, maybe that’s part of why I liked it so much.

Street Profits & Lashley: I love these weekly build-up promos 👀 And I can’t wait till they finally get into the ring for an actual match again. That gold comment - the sky is the limit 👀 Let’s hope so! Give them some good and strong opponents pls! Now that The Usos aren’t running the tag division on SD (at least temporarily), we need good teams to keep the division relevant! 

Rey vs. Theory: Theory having to attack Santos not once, but twice to stop him from competing? I’m sorry, that’s kinda hilarious lmao. We all know I fucking hate the guy, no secrets there, so when they announced Rey vs Theory I cheered so damn loud! It was probably the plan all along, but they had to change plans for a bit, until Rey’s condition was all clear. So the attack angle made perfect sense and REY FUCKING WON YES!!! My god I’m so glad that he did! (1) he obviously deserved it so much and (2) thank god I won’t have to see that fucking idiot carrying around that belt anymore. Rey is a believable and awesome candidate to beat Theory and he made that idiot look good, still. Theory’s thing obviously isn’t working rn, so even though I hate it, they’ll probably work on changing stuff and build him up over time. The extra pressure is off now that he no longer holds the title though. I think they should send him walking, but it’s WWE, so y’know. They’ll obviously keep the sleazebag. I’m so so excited for Rey though! I’m hoping that they won’t turn it into a lengthy Rey/Theory feud though, keep that idiot far far away from any title picture and maybe off my tv for a while for good? Pls and thx.

Bloodline/ Jey / Jimmy aka the Main event: First of all? That “Why Jimmy why?” sign cracked me up so bad for some reason. And Jimothy popping up outta nowhere like a badass? Idk, it had me laughing (in a good way). And the “you sold out“ chants? Yes pls. Give that boy all the damn heat! (He had no business looking this fine btw, just saying 👀) And then that little spiel from Roman with Paul doing his gestures in the background lmao. I keep saying it and I’ll probably say it a whole lot more. If you don’t love Paul Heyman, you’re doing something wrong. Jimothy’s “I don’t want nothing from you“ - as we predicted he didn’t do it for Roman (thank god for that. I couldn’t have handled another “I did it for The Rock. I did it for the people!” situation - of you know you know) And Roman being so obviously confused and arrogant about the whole thing (and Paul acting all offended on his behalf lmao). Man really thinks the sun shines out of his ass. Each segment is gold, my god. These Samoans (and the Wise Man) give me life 😭😭😭 And then Jey comes out and makes the whole thing a million times better. He looked ready for bloody murder 🥵 Jimmy telling Roman to stand down and that he got this and Roman actually doing just that? Something shady is going on here. Jimmy, babe, I see you and I love you, but I don’t trust your evil ass as far as I can throw it. I LOVE looking at Roman and Paul while Jimmy gives his explanation to Jey lmao. Roman is so done with Jimmy’s ass lol. And the way he looked so fucking proud of himself, especially when the crowd started the “asshole“ chant while Paul was once again so offended on his behalf? God the LAYERS to this segment were once again INSANE. They went through so many genres here, damn. Like… we know this is cinema and it really truly proves to be cinema week in week out. I love how even Solo reacts visibly. None and I mean NONE of them were buying Jimmy’s bullshit and neither was Jey. You keep lying through your teeth Jimothy, but people will see straight through your crap. Man when Jey turned his back on Jimmy. Just… GOLD. And Roman’s evil bitch laugh pls. I love that man and I hate that man and I love to hate that man 😭 “Acknowledge m-“ *eats superkick to the face*, I should not have laughed as loudly as I did. Jey really said I’m gonna clean house today. And then Jimmy fucking ran to him with open arms and Jey kicked him in the face? I WAS SCREAMING. JEY USO THE MAN YOU ARE 😭😭😭 I dunno if this was supposed to get me super emotional or not, but I was laughing so hard throughout the whole thing, cause that shit was so entertaining. Jey gave zero fucks about any of this shit lmao. BADASS. They really said let’s strap a rocket to this man’s butt and push him to the moon before he takes his well-deserved break. They turned him into a rockstar with this segment. I said what I said. (I’m gonna miss Jey while he’s gone for sure, I’m gonna miss the rest of them if they’re gonna off tv for a while too, but this segment was a good and memorable way to send them off in my opinion. Now I’m sitting here like this is Finding Nemo and I’m one of those damn fish in the plastic bags asking “Now what?”)

Overall, as I said at the beginning, I really LOVED this episode. It had so many feel good moments and just so many things I genuinely enjoyed!

It seems their complaints were coming from a place of concern I think? Like I believe they meant well. But that being said, I completely agree with what you’re saying. Gongchan never seemed like the type to care much about doing much outside the group in the first place (excluding his personal hobbies, like gaming or photography etc.) so when he did (and is) finally starting to get involved in acting I don’t think he’s really that worried about WM promoting it anyways? I don’t think Gongchan’s goal was to ever become some super famous k-pop star/idol.

That being said, another aspect to this is that this was always WM’s weak spot anyways-- they never promoted Baro or Jinyoung that much either when they were in shows or movies. It seems like with Sandeul’s songs or mini’s, (and I hate to sound so like... capitalist about it lol) since WM knows it’s going to be making them money, and benefitting them, (as opposed to acting roles which would more benefit the individual, be it Gongchan, Baro or Jinyoung) they seem more interested in promoting that.

Yeah, so that’s basically where I stand with it. Like, I actually do get where they’re coming from, and even sorta agree(?) with it? But I also agree with you in that I don’t think at this point complaining about it is gonna do anything, and Gongchan likely isn’t the least bit bothered in the first place lol.

WM 15: Trapped

Peter hated being in the med-bay. It wasn’t like he was even that hurt, just a few tiny cracks in his ribs and a mild concussion from a fight with a deranged lizard-man (which he won), but still Mr. Stark insisted on keeping him trapped here until he was “completely healed.” He’d already finished the few simple books they’d let him read, and done just about every activity he could think of while confined to the room. Still, he was bored out of his mind.

Finally, despite Mr. Stark having repeatedly told him not to, he caved and pulled out his phone. It opened to a conversation with MJ, and he smiled to himself, blushing. As he stared at their texts, just a little nauseated by the light from the screen, Peter came up with an incredibly genius plan to get out of his current predicament. “Hey MJ ily pls comw break me out of here”, he typed, then pressed send. It only took a few seconds for her text bubble to pop up, followed by her reply. “I’m in class dummy” “And don’t you have a concussion? Why are you texting??” Peter frowned, typing out his response notably slower than she had. “I’m so bored. And hungry. I’ve never wanted ice cream so bad in my life. Never I swear.” “And why are You texting in class?” Peter turned his phone off while waiting for MJ to reply, his head pounding. Ok, so maybe Mr. Stark was right about not looking at screens. He shut his eyes, letting the welcoming darkness soothe the pain and nausea. He  hadn’t realized how tired he was. He didn’t even notice his phone buzzing from where it sat beside him.

Peter opened his eyes to a knock at the door. “Peter?” He blinked, his mind putting together the knocking and MJ’s voice and- wait what time was it? He must’ve fallen asleep. “Come in,” he called as MJ knocked again, sheepishly searching around for his phone, but it had to have fallen off the bed while he was sleeping. The door swung open, and Peter braced himself for an onslaught of light, but the hallway light must’ve been turned off because he was just met with more darkness. “Now,” MJ said sternly, stepping into the room with something balanced in her arms that Peter couldn’t see, “this is not a jailbreak. But I did kinda just walk in here so I’m not sure how allowed it is.” She held something out to Peter, and it took him a second to realize that she was handing him a frosty. He beamed at her, propping himself up so he could eat it. “Oh my god,” he mumbled through bites of ice cream, “I love you so much, thank you.” She sat on the end of his bed, pulling out her own frosty- vanilla, which usually Peter would jokingly point out, but right now he was too grateful and also concussed- and grinned back at him, something soft glinting in her expression. “You’re welcome. And I love you too. Now slow down, you’re gonna get a brain freeze.” She was right, and he did, but it didn’t really matter.

sometimes when you remove doubles from the entire mesh, it makes weird shadows (you can see them in solid mode) that are super dark. Edge splitting gets rid of them without causing a seam to show in the mesh

What did you think of Wrestlemania last night?

overall, i really enjoyed mania last night!! minus the last two matches i thought it was really good.

the ending to the men’s battle royale was good and i really wasn’t expecting it! it’ll be interesting to see where they go with matt hardy and bray now.

the cruiserweight match was amazing and definitely was main card worthy. cedric and mustafa are so great together and although i was rooting for mustafa a lil, cedric alexander really deserved the win

the women’s battle royale was cool!! although the entrances were messy af, i loved the whole nxt vs the main roster thing, it’s a shame becky got eliminated so early tho. also i deadass thought bayley won lmfao

the triple threat ic match was good to kick start things off, i loved finn’s entrance and gear and seth’s too! all three men were involved all the way through and i’m glad seth finally got his grand slam

charlotte and asuka was great and although i didn’t really want charlotte to be the one to break asuka’s streak cause like i feel that title could have gone to someone who really needed a boost and a push in the women’s division. the moment after the match was a really nice touch also charlotte’s gear was amazing wtf

i didn’t really care for the us title match as a match with those 4 competitors is never going to be really amazing and exciting for me personally. i would have liked rusev to win but i’m fine with jinder

although i still don’t care for ronda i really enjoyed her match with kurt vs stephanie and triple h. lmao like it was just so silly at times and stephanie was so funny?? like idk i really enjoyed it though

the sd live tag team triple threat was pretty lame tbh. i didn’t want the bludgeon brothers to win cause like idk i just don’t like them that much. it sucks that the usos had to lose in their first wm match

john cena vs taker was unnecessary and that’s all i gotta say on that

dbry and shane vs kevin and sami wasn’t anything special tbh. it was great to see daniel bryan back in the ring again but it annoyed me that he was lying outside the ring for so long lmfao. i enjoyed his moments with sami too but they’re still fired? tf? like idgi

nia and alexa was alright, like neither of them are the most exciting wrestlers so i didn’t expect much. i’m happy nia won though and alexa’s reign of terror is finally over

aj vs shinsuke......... (i know this is going to be a very unpopular opinion and if anyone actually reads this pls don’t hate me this is just my opinion thank) i’ve seen a lot of people saying that match was underwhelming. whilst it still should have been the main event, shinsuke has been very average since coming up from nxt. unfortunately for me he’s all character and entrance which is fine but like... i don’t think he’s THAT good. and as my friend put it, it was like watching aj trying to get blood from a stone. i still enjoyed the match and it was pretty even. i totally didn’t expect aj to retain so that was a nice surprise for me lmao

braun vs the bar was wild af. imo it shouldn’t have been that high up in the card and whilst having that kid be braun’s partnet was fun and silly it just seems like an insult to the rest of the raw tag team division. you have plenty of brilliant tag teams that could have been the bar’s opponents but nooo... you gotta have braun do this smh

brock vs roman was WHACK. idk if it was just cause everyone was so sure that roman was going to defeat the evil and become universal champ. but like it was just so sad and disappointing. roman built and carried this feud on his own and it was just so weird to have the build up be that good for the match and outcome to be that disappointing it just doesn’t make sense 2 me

I'm on my phone so I can't use gifs.But firstly I think the similarities begin in the fact that Asher and Michaela as well as Bonnie and Kai are two people who are opposites but have surprisingly intense sexual chemistry. Like Micasher's sex scenes are always ridiculously hot no matter how tame the scene even last episode when she straddles him and Asher just lets out that groan? And Connor mentions how the sex sounds like it's really good. Obviously Bonnie and Kai haven't had sex but that visceral chemistry is apparent immediately that Damon (who is essentially Connor) notices it and no matter the situation that chemistry is still there and as us BKers like to write about, gif about, post about it isn't hard to imagine BK having wildly good sex.Secondly as the original anon stated, I'm very much into the angsty, tortured Kai but Kai is also comedic and he's also tactless like Asher. Kai putting Bonnie in a trunk and then getting excited about cooking her a Thanksgiving meal and trying to make it last longer would be the equivalent to Asher making fun of Michaela's southern accent but then trying to make her feel better by dancing to that country song which actually only aggravates her more. And Kai's earnest attempts at getting Bonnie to forgive him could be like Asher's earnest attempts at getting Michaela to admit he's more than a meat stick. Essentially picture Bonnie and Kai as two normal people in a fucked up situation and you can see them as Asher and Michaela because Michaela and Bonnie both have this "over it" attitude while Asher and Kai have a sort of reverence toward them that is almost puppy dogish at times. Like couldn't you imagine Bonnie finally admitting to liking Kai and then as they have sex Kai saying "Say it again" and Bonnie laughing "Stop" and him saying "Please? It turns me on." Like Michaela and Asher? If you still can't see it, tomorrow I'll try to make a gifset.
