A lot of people feel bad about Pluto not being considered a planet. They insist on Pluto being a planet because they don't want Pluto to feel left out. They insist that Ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind.

But they never really stopped to think about what Pluto wants. Pluto was never happy as a planet. It always felt like something was wrong with it because it was always different from the other planets. It always felt bad when other planets were able to do things that it can't.

Then, Pluto left the other planets and starting hanging out with dwarf planets including Eris, Haumea, Makemake, Gonggong, Quaoar, Sedna, Ceres, and Orcus. And it for once in its life felt welcome. It wasn't a defective planet. It was a dwarf planet. It finally found where it feels like it belongs. Instead of trying to mask as a planet just to be popular, it finally feels like it can be its authentic self.

Let Pluto live its life as a dwarf planet. It's much happier being its true self and being able to enjoy its life as a dwarf planet instead of trying to give up its individuality and feeling like it has to pretend to be a planet.

frankly i think that instead of removing pluto from charts of the solar system they should have just added ceres, haumea, makemake and eris because frankly the dwarf planets deserve more respect. pluto is the king of the dwarf planets, he does not deserve to be erased like this. and the other dwarf planets are cool as fuck and they should be talked about more

Make Pluto a planet again!

So goes the mantra for the small but obsessivelly dedicated pro-Pluto group, also bearing the same name. And yes, they know and embrace the abbreviation MaPaPa. It's not like there's any opposition to drive up their determination, most people just don't care, but old slights die hard and Humans are among the most stubborn in the galaxy.

They have an idea, a plan even:

Make Pluto bigger.

It's not a smart plan, or thought out. In fact, it is very stupid and pointless. Nonetheless, they are amassing resources to do it. Literally. Gathering and towing big asteroids and other loose objects from around the Sol system into Pluto's orbit.

Once they have enough, part two of the plan involves having them all just smash into Pluto. That's it. Let gravity do the rest they say.

They could have obtained support from more established organizations if they were to do it in a more controlled way that would enable turning Pluto into something useful, but no they declared - Pluto is and will be a beautiful and barren rock. And a planet!

It seems mostly harmless so the rest of us are just letting them be. Don't argue with crazy, you automatically lose.
