TBH it hasn't been getting a lot of comments or interaction lately, so I wasn't sure if people were still following it or really thinking about it much D: I definitely am going to continue and I have pretty solid plans up through about Chapter 13, but I got caught up in good old Adult Things (got a car part stolen and had to speedrun finding a job, and by some insane miracle I landed a good one???) and had to sorta get my life together for a while. I was also pretty bummed and discouraged that the Elimetri fandom kinda fizzed out after S5, and the hype that was there after S3 and S4 seems few and far between these days </3 And when someone DOES show up and get hyped about my boys, it always seems like they get bored after like 2 weeks and vanish into the ether again D: I feel like an immortal roaming the ruins of a once great and thriving civilization akjsalksufhdulrh

BUT ALL THAT TO SAY this is really encouraging <3 <3 Love that people are still invested, and now that my life has stabilized a bit, I may actually get Chapter 7 done ^^; The canon Mexico plotline was the most underwhelming thing I've ever seen in my entire life (and Season 5 as a whole and I just...did not really Vibe for a lot of reasons), and it's frustrating because like!!! Why would you introduce this grand epic quest for Miguel to find his dad and learn about his Dark Past™️ and then have it be over in 5 minutes and reveal nothing interesting whatsoever about Hector!!! Like if the point was to have Johnny prove he could be a good father figure to Miguel after all and to cause conflict between Miguel and Sam, then there were like...ways to do that without yeeting Miguel to another country with no ultimate character development or narrative payoff :/

And they really expect me to believe Miguel and Robby sat in petty stony silence the whole several-hour drive home and didn't even try to talk through ANY of their issues??? Didn't have ANY road trip bonding whatsoever??? WHAT A FUCKING WASTE. LAME.

ANYWAYS. I know a lot of people were against the Mexico subplot from the jump (mainly because of the potential problematic directions the show could go with it I think), but I might have been in the minority in being excited for it and thinking it had a lot of potential to see a world outside the Valley. Potential which it...did not fill at all. Like at least show us what sketch-ass shit Hector actually DOES!!! My god!!! Also not Robby being like "I wanna make things right with Miguel!!!" and then...clearly not doing that. Like considering their apartment brawl later was the first time Robby has shown onscreen remorse for what he did to Miguel, Robby didn't even apologize in the car ride on the way back??? Or speak a single word to Miguel about the whole, like...Paralysis Incident??? For all Miguel knows, Robby was tagging along just for kicks ajhdsukhfuyh

The whole thing is a mess tbh. I blame rushed production for S5. Deadass thank god for the writer's strike??? Maybe with more time for the writers to actually do their jobs, S6 will give its plotlines some room to breathe.

SO YES, long story short, I wanna do this plot thread some justice and also have my OTP be gay as shit the whole time <3 And give Miguel the epically dangerous adventure of self-discovery he deserves while ultimately still showing him he is very loved and does not need his shitty biological dad!!! I was tagged by @xenascribbles (read its post here btw!!) and I've been wanting to do it for a while (it's been so long ago, I'm sorry!!!) because it sounds interesting. Unfortunately, it's long and I am NOT concise.

About me:

When did you first start writing?

I think I've mentioned this before, but I started writing in 5th/6th grade to kind of codify the lore and story of my friend group's playground activities (because a series of drawings was just not cutting it). Then, we collectively found out I enjoyed it and my friends started asking for fanfics of books we all liked.

Are the general themes you read different from the ones you write?

I don't really go out looking for the themes of a story, I usually focus on interesting plots or characters when I'm shopping for books (I know themes inform story and characters but you know what I mean). Also most themes in my stories are 100% a posteriori (DoS was my first time having themes in mind as I was writing). I usually write the 1st draft and go "oh shit, a theme".

Can you tell me a little about your writing space(s)? (room, coffee shop, desk, etc)

I mostly write in my room, usually sitting on my bed because I hate chairs. But I would be remiss if I didn't mention my college's big auditorium, specifically during boring architectural theory lessons. Any project of mine has been at least 30% written during class time, I can assure you.

What’s your most effective way to muster up some muse?

I go for a Really Long Walk while listening to music. And fun fact: I've had to make my walks bigger because of this, because when I'm having Thoughts I start speedwalking like a crazy person and it was genuinely shortening my Idea Time because I got home too quickly.

Did the place(s) you grew up in influence the people and places you write about?

I wouldn't say it's a 1 to 1 thing, but I think the environments in our lives always afects us. In terms of the places I write about, I think my fascination with circuses and magic shows (from which came B&W) stems from the fact that there are no good ones around here. The ones from my childhood were genuinely so lame. But I think mostly it's the way I was raised? My parents are artists and they've made a point of showing me all kinds of art since, like... ever, and I feel like it really influenced me as a person and, therefore, my writing.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing, and if so, do they surprise you at all?

A few years back, I noticed a tendency in my main characters to feel a great sense of nostalgia towards the past, in a way? There was a very prevalent sense of "things were ok at a previous point in my life but not now and I wanna go back". I don't really understand where this came from tho.

My characters:

Would you please tell me about your favorite character? (Current wip, past wip, never used)

I am, on every level, deeply insane about every single named character in DoS. But mainly Seth and General Fallin. I just think they're really interesting. I particularly like the general, mostly because I have almost no chances to write about him, while Seth is the POV character. There's just something about the different perceptions of his actions that are integral his character as a general in a war setting, as well as his inherent hypocrisy in constantly stating how much he cares for his people and being more than willing to commit atrocities for them. Idk, he's got that Nuance.

Which of your characters would you be friends with in real life?

Probably Reyna, from B&W. When I first wrote her, I was her age and tried to create someone who I'd like to hang out with.

Which of your characters would you dislike most in real life?

I already despise Nester from the dystopia WIP and he's not even real. And also, I think Diedrich would be insufferable irl.

Tell me about the process of coming up with one, all, or any of your characters.

Most of them kinda start out as concepts. For example, Seth came to be because "healer that takes the life of everything around them for power" sounded like a cool idea. Sometimes they're informed by characters I like or historical figures: Viktor is loosely based on Robespierre, Lucille is vaguely inspired by Cio-Cio San, General Fallin has some faint hints of Griffith, etc.

Do you notice any themes/traits about your characters?

I've noticed that every single one of my 4 WIPs has the extremely specific trope of an older character using the protagonist as a replacement for their dead loved one (usually their child, but sometimes disciple or younger sibling) and projecting onto them. I have no clue where tf this came from but it feels like something a psychoanalyst would greatly enjoy.

How do you picture them?” (as real people you imagined/as models/actors that exist in real life/as imaginary artwork, as artwork you made or commissioned, anime style, etc)

I actually picture all my characters in my artstyle!! Actually, I "see" most of the worlds in my stories through my own artstyle!

What’s your reason for writing?

You see, I have all of these ideas. They are just lying around. And, as I said before, just drawing them isn't gonna cut it.

Is there a specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating coming from your readers?

On what is actually my least-read fic on ao3, a person left me a multiple paragraphs-long comment about how they would be thinking about that fic for years, that I wrote the characters as "canon but better", that they would read any other fics I posted in the future, and that they made an account to leave said comment. I'm not saying that this is the only type of comment I enjoy, but it has really stuck with me for the past year and when I read it I kinda wanna cry. So. I guess that.

How do you want to be thought of by those that read your work? (for example, as a literary genius, or as a writer who “gets” the human condition as a talented worldbuilder, or a role model, etc)

I've always wanted to be one of those writers that just really Gets the human mind, you know? Like, I've read stories where my regular person brain was going through all sorts of Things while my writer brain kept shouting "THIS MAKES SENSE!! THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!!", and that's who I want to be. (I feel like I'm not expalining myself correctly???) This is kind of a tangent, but I've read/watched stories so good that I was left just literally Sitting There, my thoughts completely silent, literally incapable of being a functioning human being for about an hour because my brain just wouldn't come down from the story. And that's my goal in life <3

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

Probably my character building.

What have you frequently been told your greatest writing strength is by others?

My story ideas/concepts. Like settings and worldbuilding and such.

How do you feel about your writing? (answer in whatever way you interpret that question)

Overall, I like it! I spent a long time working to a point where I can actually enjoy my own work. And I'm obviously not saying it's perfect. No one sees more flaws in it than me (bc I virtually never show it to anyone), but I won't say it's bad to sound better. I'm having fun, dammit!

If you were the last person on earth, and knew that your writing would never be read, would you still write?

I would still have stories to write even if there was no one to show them to. I would still draw and sing without an audience too. Because my art is, at its core, for me. It's a need.

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely what you enjoy? if it’s a mix of the two, which holds the most influence?

I used to consider what others might like, and I still kinda do sometimes because my main beta reader is my MOM, but I've mostly let it go tbh. After draft 2 of B&W I shouted "I'M NEVER WRITING ROMANCE AGAIN!!!" and here we are. At the end of the day, I'm writing mostly to have fun, so I should be able to do whatever I want.

Used to be that you'd be tricked into watching a show because the story implied there'd be gay rep, but now they're using gay rep to trick you into thinking there'll be a story.” TAGS: #tbh :/ #all the gay shows are pandering to like not even regular romance tropes but FANFIC tropes #and it's hollow af

Ok let me see if I can get my thoughts into some kind of order on this lol 

I mean to use the most egregious offender as an example, let’s talk about Good Omens s2. Like we come from s1 and the book which operate on a huge scale of time and across the globe with world ending stakes, even when it’s focused on Tadfield or London. There is a whole cast of characters outside of Aziraphael and Crowly with their own motives and agendas that intersect with each other and you can imagine existing before and after the story being told. Then we enter s2 and they’re all gone. God is gone. It’s Aziraphael and Crowley, Gabriel (and Beelzebub), and their neighbors who exist purely to be a Functional Couple oppose A+Cs dysfunctionality. This is kind of the first sin of fanfiction in this case, the world gets smaller and shallower and so do the characters within it. It’s all just feels like props and dressing to get two characters together. The whole Gabe and Beelzebub thing? The only reason I didn’t “see it coming” is because I thought there was no way they would just rip straight from the crackships of AO3 because I have READ THAT PLOT BETWEEN THESE CHARACTERS TWENTY TIMES JUST LIKE THIS. 

Gomens s2 and also the other big recent Gay Shows, Our Flag Means Death and What We Do In The Shadows, really fuckin abuse fanfic tropes to death in more specific ways too though like - a sassy lesbian couple to set the oblivious gays straight, a will-they-wont-they with completely forgone conclusion, everyone is a shy sensitive guy even when they’re ruthless killers everyone is kind of stupid and woobie and seconds from crying all over their soft little love interest, everyone talking in this self actualized therapy speak - SO much very direct TELLING and the SHOWING is just eyecandy, fanservice. The second sin the formulaic predictability and the third is prioritizing fanservice/shipping over storytelling. 

Because that’s the main thing I think? These shows - which I wanna be clear I liked at least at some point but have gotten really disappointed by as they continue - feel like they don’t have a story to tell. They’re just vehicles to get a Gay Couple together, regardless of character consistency or the way more interesting things implied going on in the world around them, and they just shed more and more detail and quality and idk variety? as the main ship’s relationship progresses and the world narrows further and further. It becomes boring, one-note. 

And to cover my bases here I don’t want to be misconstrued as believing these things can’t be or aren’t also true of straight romance shows (or movies, books, whatever) because I think we’ve all seen plenty of Boring Straight Romance, and I am being somewhat generalizing for the sake of what brevity I can accomplish here. But I think the noticeable thing with specifically these new queer romance shows is that they are being aimed at and HEAVILY pandering to yknow 18 - 30 year old chronically online fandom queers because people like Niel Gaiman and Taika Waititi and whathaveyou have witnessed first hand (and made a lot of money from) the absolute frenzy this AO3 donating demographic with go into over this exact kind of content. 

In short, people figured out you can make more money off of really dedicated weirdos with bad taste than you can writing something with depth and substance.

Not everything can be as good as Homestuck I guess!

6. overrated ship : Any of the fruity four (it makes me wanna gag just typing it) ships. I haven’t looked in the fandom tags for a year because it’s oversaturated with passionless, factory produced, carbon-copy fanworks that look like Harringrove fics put through ai to be rewritten as St*ddie, or Buckleway into r*nance. I’m sick of it. It’s boring. I’ll come up with my own steddie content, thanks.

7. one thing to change in canon : Everything. Not even joking. I’m going blorbo shopping and bringing all my favs back to my dollie house to play fix-it.

8. something canon did right : Um. I guess letting actors put in feedback and details of their own. Like Millie choosing for El to touch Billy’s cheek, Dacre giving us backstory on Billy’s mom and also on Billy’s disability (BPD), both he and Joe Keery refusing the original scripts, Joe Quinn improvising Eddie’s crush on Chrissy, and so on. All of the actor choices are the only good things about the show at this point.

9. a thing I’m proud of creating for the fandom : @disabledbillyandsteveweek! There's more information about the event over on the blog, but basically it’s an event starting in about two weeks meant to highlight Billy and Steve as disabled characters, through all kinds of fan works and different ships!

10. a character who is perfect to me : Christine Renée-Beth Cunningham. Nobody compares to my cheer girl.

11. the most relatable character and why : Also Chrissy. She reminds me a lot of myself, especially how I was when I was still in highschool, being timid and struggling a lot with my mental health. I wish she could have grown and gotten help and felt better since I’m on my journey to doing so right now, but I’m forever grateful to have seen a character with an eating disorder and an abusive family on screen, portrayed in a heartfelt and generous way- all thanks to miss Grace Van Dien

12. character I hate most and why : Neil, Karen (actually just the Wheelers in general except little Holly), Brenner, Owens, the lady that shot Benny, literally so many of them. Anyone who intentionally and unabashedly hurts other characters without remorse.

13. something I’ve learned from the fandom : To be patient, because even when things seem tough or impossible, we can make it. Together, with friends who understand us, and who share our pain, we can fight and keep going! Especially because this community will always have folks who understand and have our backs, we just have to find them ❤️❤️

14. three tags I seek out on ao3 : I actually don’t read fic on ao3. The extreme amounts of severely triggering content hosted on that site is just too much for me and I can never seem to avoid it. I only post to ao3 because I know people find it easily accessible, but I had one too many mix-ups that led to me being in a terrible state of mind, so I discontinued using the site.

15. a song I strongly associate with otp and/or favorite character : I’ll never shut up about “Time in a Bottle” by Jim Croce. Conveniently off the same record as Hop has on Vinyl and Cassette, it’s my favorite song ever because it’s so tender and loving and even though it’s old people music yall should give it a listen. EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS? 9-10 years at this point. I started writing my OCs in rp about 5 years ago and before that I did this for some manga/anime characters I love.

BEST EXPERIENCE? I can't name a single one. I love plotting, I love threads that take turns and involve a bit of conflict (just a bit though) and I love sending stuff to people that reminds me of their characters - the experience in itself is awesome.

RP PET PEEVES? I'll be honest, I thought about this way harder than I probably should've. I don't have many. Extremely long posts to scroll past was definitely one, though they did implement a click to read more to shorten that so it's fine now. Also, agreeing with the mutual who tagged me, the 'reblog from source' thing. A lot of times I have no idea what I'd send sb if they reblog an rp/ask meme from me but folks are free to reblog memes from me. I don't mind!

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT? Angst, for sure. And fluff. Smut gets the bronze.

PLOTS OR MEMES? Memes are cool and they've given me great ideas but I gotta say plotting. RP is like a collab story to me, and for that plotting is needed.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES? I've tried writing long replies; it always ends up draining me. I don't like being verbose, you see. Short replies are... well, too short. Even though I'm trying to learn how to be succinct, short replies don't give me enough inspiration/stuff to work with/a kick/what say you. So I'd rather say, medium replies. Not too long, not too short, the best of both worlds.

TIME TO WRITE? Ideally late morning and noon, but if that can't happen I can make it work anytime. Who needs sleep amirite

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES? Yes and no. A little bit. I've given a lot of them (like Fíann, Rigmor, Kieran) experiences similar to mine, and our music/art tastes would probably align, but that's it. Even Rigmor, whose story is very personal and describes a somewhat bad time I had at some point in life, is still her own character. Even Fíann, although recently I realised how alike we are, is her own character. And even Savash, who supposedly got inspired by me (she, Rigmor and Arvid used to be siblings in the very first iteration of Rigmor's story, but things changed since), is her own character. If they were too much like me it would be boring. I'm writing urban fantasy, not an autobiography after all!

Hey! How are you? Hope you're doing well!

So, I was reading your "Fearful, wonderful" story just now, and it is amazing?! Honestly, I'm probably not the best person to talk about the writing and all of that (since english its not my first language) but I do write a lot myself in my first language so maybe commenting on what I know is best: the way the story flows naturally, the little callbacks to things you mentioned before (the whole yokai/jellyfish is so cute? And the aid/sabotage thing?), the y/n themselves, the pace, and even when you make descriptions of things/scenery mainly it's not too short as to make them unimportant but also not too long, so it sounds boring? And the whole concept itself? Everything is just so beautiful.

I wanted to know if you do a taglist? I didn't see anything in your pinned post that suggested you do it so I'm supposing you don't, but if you do, would you mind tagging me on "Fesrful, Wonderful"?

If you don't do a taglist, that okay, I'll still look pretty much everyday (my bedtime stories are imagines because why not, it's cute, even more when I find gems like you) until the next chapter.

1, 13, 17, 21 for the ask game!

1. The character everyone gets wrong

Okay, not exactly any specific character cause there is a plenty but just this category of every neurodivergent-coded character where people will just go "oooh they are so autism/adhd" and never go beyond that. Mostly thinking of Giorno from JoJo and Twyla from Monster High right now [Twyla Gen 1, Twyla is canonically autistic in Gen 3, I know]. Like, yeah. They are heavily autism coded, but also both of them show signs and symtomps of the neurodevelopment issues that go beyond the scope of autism and ADHD but because I feel like Tumblr and Fandom as a whole seems to just not be well educated enough of just how broad neurodivergency is, they just only ever go for those. In general I learned to take "they are so autusm" with a slight grain of salt nowadays in fandom cause then I explore character and I'm just "only autusm?? This bitch has psycho* station in their head on a totally different levels you're ignoring!!" *I can reclaim psycho in case anyone will go on my case.

13. Worst blorbofication

Fun fact, I googled blorbofication and I got a picture of Gyro Zeppeli. Do whatever you want with this information. I think I wrote an entire post for a different ask game but just people making Bruno Buccellati like the most one-dimensional character. And just in general reducing many characters to like three jokes to repeat on the loop. Bruno is definitely one of the best examples in people just, ignoring all of the depth and making the same joke with the guy. It's boring.

17. There should be more of this type of fic/art

Good question and one I actually cannot exactly answer. Mostly because I do not really go "looking" for specific types of content of my characters. I just scroll fics and their tags, if something catches my eyes, I read it. If something annoys me, if some art makes me angry I block it.

21. Part of canon you think is overhyped

For JoJo... Mmmm... I mean it is easy to say Part 3 cause I don't like Part 3 but to be honest it is more of I do not hate Part 3, I hate certain elements of Part 3 that just happen to appear a lot. So. I wanna say. Brawling Stands and in general just "Stand Rushes" and stuff. Someone once wrote [pretty sure it was @/cyphyree] a post "if you had a different studio animate JJBA which would it be and why?". I didn't have a studio in mind, but I wanted to make a post comparing JoJo's fight choreograpghy to Arcane. In general I find fights in JoJo heavily lacking since most of the times, if you ignore the moments of characters figuring out the strategy and weak point of enemy, it is just literally fast punching at each other. I guess I cannot blame the manga, it is manga - albeit I think DavidPro could have at least try to make it more interesting. Cause as it stands, it iis just plain boring when you compare it to, as I said, Arcane. But not only Arcane - compare it to the first two episodes of Golden Wind which have a way higher production value than the rest. Reason being that they aired these live in front of huge audience so they wanted these to be heavily special and cinematic. If you compare the fight of Gold Experience vs Sticky Fingers and how smooth it is and precise and feels like an actual battle of two brawlers - if you compare it to nearly all other Stand fights that just end up as Stand Rushes. It's boring. Albeit still slow. Though I guess that might just be budget issues. However I seriously wish in a different world, the JoJo fights would be animated like Arcane close combat scenes [seriously, I sometimes google "All Fights Arcane" and just watch the pure choreographical beauty of them.] That's why I am happy that most of the time 90% of defeating the enemy is figuring out their weakness and bullshitting some way to get through their deffense and Stand Rushes are only the final of it.

1. Are you named after anyone? My dad actually! His name is also Bobbi. Except it’s spelled the masculine way. And he’s technically named after his grandfather Robert.

2. When was the last time you cried? It’s actually been a while now. Long enough for the short term memory to forget how long it’s been. But it’s usually quite often for one reason or another. Perhaps it was right around Christmas?

3. Do you have kids? No but I want kids so very bad. I love children so much. Every age group is great for different reasons!

4. Do you use sarcasm? Naturally? No. If I was taught it I never would have used it or realized it existed. I’ve forced myself to use it but I really only do it with people I super duper trust because I’m often mistaken for being completely serious. It’s not a concept that comes easily for me.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people? How they greet me, if at all. How they hold themselves, are the being forced to introduce themselves? Are they making the first move so to speak? Is their handshake confident or slacked? Do they even bother with a handshake ( understandably of course, Covid is still alive and well). Then it’s physical stuff like hair, eyes, and mouth. I stare at peoples mouths when they talk so really it’s probably mouth and teeth right after eyes.

6. What's your eye color? Hazel, but like REALLY dark hazel. They are a perfect mix of my moms very dark brown eyes and my dads dark green eyes. So they look brown from afar until they get direct light then you can see the inner ring is more green and the outer ring is completely brown.

7. Scary movies or happy endings? I like both, it really depends on the expectations the movie sets for itself. Like if I go into a happy movie and I’m scared I’ll be upset. But scary movies should be scary imo. I also hate spoilers and love surprises so I try to avoid spoiling myself.

8. Any special talents? Uh drawing? I guess. But I consider that more of a learned skill than a talent. I just started young. I’d say as far as special, I can make a clown horn noise with my throat by restricting air flow and then breathing fast. Kids love it, and honestly adults do too.

9. Where were you born? Texas, been here my whole life. :/

10. What are your hobbies? Drawing. Recently got an iPad and Apple Pencil and the barrier for my brain to start drawing is was less. Booting up my laptop often was too many hurdles and it made me draw less. Also reading fanfic for sure. I’m constantly looking for good fics. (I’d write but I’m ass at writing and the thought of posting any of my shitty writing makes me feel ill)

11. Do you have any pets? Yes!!! I have two sweet boys named Faendal and Chonk. Faendal is a shelter mutt. He’s white with very light tan spots and big ole pointed ears that stick straight up. And Chonk is a Pittbull, Labrador, Husky mix. Yeah you read that right. Although he has none of the physical traits of lab or husky. He looks Pitt but he’s got the braincells of a lab and the mouth of a husky.

12. What sports do you play/have you played? No sportsball. I danced competitively in highschool though on the local drill team. And I was what my friends so lovingly called a “mathlete” since I was like 10. I competed in mental math basically.

15. Dream job? Gosh idk if I have a dream job anymore. When I was a teenager my answer would have been pediatrician. But now idk. I toy with the idea of doing art for a living. But I’m afraid of the job market and I’m not good at selling myself. And also do I wanna make my favorite hobby my job? And then I’m rather good at math so I should utilize it right? That’s what every one tells me. “You have such a unique skill set being so good at math, it would be so easy to get a math degree and a great job.” But would I be bored? What scene in took the longest to write? What was difficult about it? - Cracks in the Mirror, Storm in a Teacup - Part 3, Leo’s drowning scene. Cause I knew what it feels like, and what the mood supposed to be was but the words kept on failing me

Did you have any ideas that didn’t make the final cut? - not that many. I stop when I am satisfied. everything not used goes into the ‘scene folder’ and gets eventually recycled in another project

Do you have a favorite scene you’ve written?  BTL/Oblivium - Part 1, its rare for me to go to such dark places emotionally while writing... but it was fun in the ‘what have I done’ kind of way

Huh, so it looks like I never posted one of my iterators before. Anyway, this is Datalog Of Resentment, or DOR for short! I barely have things planned for her, except that she was a newer iterator.

Tired of trying to solve the Ancients problem, she got bored and made a way to get out of her can and explore around. I'm currently trying to give her some more content but that's it for now.

Here it is! I'm gonna put the ramble under the read more (its A LOT of text). In case anyone has any question about it I'll gladly answer!

It's name is Cleaner

FP gets desperate and decides to crate a slugcat to deal with the rot

Cleaner is semi biological

He menages to make so the Cleaner can actually kill the rot, or at least remove them from the can

Although small compared to other slugcats it's still really deadly and quite agile

It has tendrils to help navigate the can but also to get rid of the daddy long legs

To not eat the neurons it eats the proto daddy long legs or the actual ones

It has the communication mark to be able to understand FP

At some point FP gets to infected and enters a "hybernation" mode, letting Cleaner on it's own

There are 3 ways things could go: The good ending, The true ending and the bad ending

I still thinking about the good ending, so I don't have everything figured out yet but the way I see is that, Cleaner menages to get rid of all the rot and FP turns on again, this however would still give him some major damage, so either he keeps living like this or SRS somehow gives him some help

The true ending, wich is more likely to happen, Cleaner can't deal with the rot fast enough and FP dies, it gets devastated and so follows the last order gave to him: Seek the void sea and transcend, and so it does

I think FB would not be as much of a jerk to doom the little guy to the same fate as him so that's why he let's it transcend

The one drawing of FP holding Cleaner is what would appear once it transcended (little guy just wanna be held :-:)

Cleaner has feelings, (FP didn't know about that)

That makes things even more angsty once you understand that Cleaner feel like a failure when it can't help FP

It heads straight to the void sea so it probably never meets BSM

In the bad ending FP dies and so does Cleaner

It gets infected and is slowly consumed by the rot as well

It can feel pain, but not as much as the emotional pain from letting FP dies as well as itself, it's horrible :(

If the good ending happens I think FP would let Cleaner free to go, but it chooses to stay with him, who knows when FP may need help again :)

FP would probably annoyed at it first, but would warm up for the little guy as well

He wont tell, but he really likes the company

It's like having a pet, but better!

If Cleaner somehow maneged to meet the other slugcats, as long as they didn't eat the neurons or damaged FB, their interaction would go like this:

Hunter: Would feel some sort of sympathy, they both were made to help, but hunter has a limited time

Cleaner would probably guide and help Hunter out of the can, even giving some spears that it find

Survivor: Doesn't trust they, might even be aggressive towards them, always keeping an eye on them in case it does anything it would consider bad

Monk: Who doesn't like them? Monk would probably bring something to Cleaner and be careful around the can

A couple of my main older edgejeanist headcanons that I am bringing back bc they’re becoming relevant again-

So. My favourite thing to do with my ships is choose something like a type of weather that links to them and all their moments and story n such. For these two it’s the rain.

Tsunagu always disliked the rain, bc it was always gloomy and made him feel cold and uncomfortable and sad and lonely.

Shinya taught him to love the rain. (My fic “When It Rains…” is the whole story behind this and my whole headcanon for them and yes. Here’s the link if you wanna go check it out)

They have many of their moments in the rain, bc it reminds them of each other and just reminds them of them. I include this in every one of my aus too bc rain <333

In return, Tsunagu teaches shinya to love the stars. Shinya disliked looking up at the stars bc it reminded him of how lonely he felt and everyone that he had lost in his lifetime. And Tsu taught him how truly beautiful they are.

And. After this. They learnt to love each other.

They have matching lockets. Shinya’s is gold and Tsu’s is silver.

(Bc if you think about it, Shinya is silver and Tsu is gold in terms of their colour schemes….their hair…..and also they are red and blue, respectively ^^^) (what’s even better is that typically, silver goes nice with blue, and gold goes nice with red……so they match together pretty perfectly)

These lockets contain their most heartfelt moments and each have a letter written from the other that reminds them everything they love about each other. So that if anything happens, or at any point if they feel separated, they can simply read the letter and hold the locket and they’ll feel close again. (I also include these in most of my art at any given chance if you look close enough 👀)

They each have a scar on their face, over one of their eyes, that was caused by the other in some sort of quirk accident. Shinya’s is over his right eye, caused by Tsu’s quirk going out of control and him saving him but getting hurt in the meantime (like what happened to Tsu’s dad in my backstory) and the same from Shinya to Tsu, but his is over his left eye. (Each the side that they cover with their hair)

They both are terrible at looking after themselves but are so caring towards one another that it sort of cancels itself out and they look after each other and themselves in return together.

They leave each other notes all the time. Sometimes these are important things to remember, sometimes they are silly little things, and sometimes just a simple ‘I love you <3’

They have matching tattoos. (Which I have drawn out btw……if anyone would like to see them 👀)

Tsunagu sews little cute flowers or tiny badges or just fun little things for Shinya when he’s bored, and Shinya makes origami figures for Tsu when he’s bored.

They have this thing where they make paper cranes together, using a piece of paper they wrote a message on, and give each other the one they made. If Shinya makes a paper crane, he always makes two because they must come in pairs from this.

If one gets lost or damaged, he will make a new pair to replace them bc one cannot just go on without the other. They go together. (This links/will link into this fic)

Shinya finds Tsunagu’s weird clothes puns funny and laughs at them, which is the main reason that Tsunagu makes them constantly.
