On this Day in EAM history,

Lisa choo-choo-chose Ralph in 1993,

Brain complains his way through a commercial narration in 1994

Rocko uses a jackhammer to brush his teeth in 1996 (it’s an Australian thing),

Brock’s briefly retired from the Pokémon anime and replaced with a white guy in 1999,

and the Eds break reality in 2000 just by asking questions.

It’s a big day in 2005, with Lilo & Stitch going to the future, Danny thinking he’s scored with Paulina, and Jake and Rose auditioning for a school play.

And then we’ve got Ben meeting his most powerful frenemy, Kevin 11, in 2006,

and Pinkie Pie ending atheism in 2011. This is just a taste of all the episodes I could’ve listed today, it’s a pretty good one. For me, it’s a tie between Ed Edd n Eddy & Ben 10.

WTF THAT POKEMON - its a ghost type!

don't you love how pokemon obtusely side steps what these pokemon actually are by way of being a kids show/game

whatchu mean pokemon eat other pokemon shocked_pikachu_face

pokedex entries be like - the ghost of a dead baby whose mother choked to death, or this creature wears the skull of its long deceased mother, or this nurse pokemon does its best to emulate the love only a mother would give.

It's time for pokemon to get with the times and follow through with their lore. game freak just acknowledge your fanbase is segmentated, and there's goddamn profit to be had! just make an adult pokemon already, we'll buy it, I promise.

until then these cursed creations will continue to surface, they're the dark side of pokemon. the repressed majority's feelings bundled up and turned evil - a corruption, ironically brought to light by the smitty virus...

game freak only you (and palworld) can save us now...
