There is a particular sting after a relationship ends, whether that person was a partner, a family member, or even a friend. You go about your life and move on, and then out of the blue you’ll see something that reminds you of a joke you shared, a reference that only they would understand.
It’s like grief except that they’re still out there and an asshole.
(Also there is a child here who is absolutely a young Alex.)

Almost Two Weeks After Your Father's Departure...
You glide through the water effortlessly, seeking a brief relief from the summer heat. While the news had promised you and everyone else that today’s weather would be one for the books, the warnings still hadn’t been enough to prepare you for the heat that assailed you the moment you’d stepped out the back door.
However, it’s not until you allow your head to break through the surface that you realize you were no longer alone. You had company. And he was also staring at you.
Again. It was something he had a habit of doing.
“Can I help you?” It’s a flatly delivered question.
The man only shrugs, dragging a hand through his shaggy, chestnut brown locks. Frankly, he looked so much like his brother you were almost surprised that you’d never really noticed just how many similarities they actually shared.
Same striking blue eyes. Same massive build. Same chiseled jaw that looked great with or without a beard. But where Steve always possessed an aura or control, Ari emanated something a little more raw and untamed.
You found found that it sometimes did funny things to those annoying butterflies that had seemingly taken up residence in your belly these days.
“Did you need something?” You try as you continue to tread water in the middle of the pool.
“Nothing you're quite prepared to give, sweet Clover.” Ari responds cryptically, his head cocking to the side as he continues to survey you.
“Then why the hell do you keep staring at me?”
That was another thing you’d recently come to learn about Ari over the last couple of days. He didn’t seem to care whenever you decided to take a spicy tone with him – a fact you’d discovered when you’d found him sitting in your father’s study just the other morning.
You’d been so happy until that moment, especially since you’d previously been granted three days free of Bucky, Steve, and Andy. Your time alone had been glorious, even if it had proved to be short lived.
You watch the older man closely, fascinated by the increasingly pronounced tick in his jaw. Hell, if he was allowed to stare then so would you. However, the question was, who would blink first?
Turns out, that award belonged to Ari.
Humming a tune under his breath, he proceeds to grab a lawn chair before pulling it closer to the edge of the pool. Neither one of you says a word as he takes a seat, his sinewy muscles bunching and flexing beneath the thin fabric of his light gray t-shirt.
“Just came out here to check on you.” He reaches up to scratch at his beard. “See how you were managing in this heat.”
“I’m managing by planning to spend all afternoon in the pool, like any other sane person would.”
“Ya know, I’m pretty sure Bucky and the boys made it clear that they don’t appreciate your little penchant for snark.” He muses, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees.
Probably. You inwardly concede. It definitely hasn't been winning you any favors. Which is why you often preferred to play the part of a mute. Whenever they allowed you to, that is.
“Doesn’t seem to bother you.” You respond honestly before closing your eyes and flipping your body so that you can float on your back, giving Ari a glimpse of your peaches and cream-colored bikini.
“That’s cuz’ not too much bothers me. I don’t allow it.”
“Hmm…” You spread your arms, silently wishing you could simply float away from this conversation entirely. “Maybe you should talk to the others about that. Seems like I find a new way to piss them off every time I open my mouth.”
“Nah.” Ari shrugs away your words as he continues to appear unbothered by the heat. “Something tells me they don’t quite know just what to do with a pretty little thing like you.”
“Oh. And you do?” Well, you could safely say that you hadn’t been expecting that answer.
“I’d certainly like to think so.”
His statement hangs in the air as you both fall silent. While you weren’t quite sure what your would-be caretaker was talking about, it was definitely enough to make you think. And it’s at that moment that you decide to change tactics. Instead of floating here annoyed, perhaps it was time to use Ari’s seemingly indulgent personality to your benefit.
A friend of yours was throwing a party tonight. And you wanted to go.
When you’d previously brought it up to Bucky and Steve, they’d both hemmed and hawed over the subject – asking you all kinds of questions and refusing to give you anything more than a non-committal “we’ll have to see” or "we'll have to sit down and talk about it". And when you’d tried to play the ultimate trump card by calling your father, he’d sided with them.
“I’m not there, pumpkin.” Your Dad had said while you’d been holed-up pouting in your room. “I asked your Uncles to watch over you, which means I’m gonna have to defer to them in situations like this one."
And, as luck would have it, you hadn’t been able to get your answer before they’d just up and disappeared on you like the overbearing assholes they were proving themselves to be.
“Yeah, well, I’m not sure I trust the judgment of anyone who’s crazy enough to sit out here in this heat and roast – not when there’s a perfectly good pool, like, right in front of them.”
“Not sure that pool of yours is big enough for the both of us.” Ari mutters, scrubbing a hand over his jaw. Although you get the feeling he’s talking more to himself than you.
“It’s plenty big.” You eagerly reassure him, adjusting your position so that you can float closer to where your pseudo-guardian is sitting. “See? There’s aaall this space.”
For a second Ari appears unsure. And the closer you get, there’s no denying the fact that he was finally showing signs of feeling the heat. It’s hard to miss the thin line of sweat dotting along his brow.
“C’mon…” You urge, playfully splashing him. “Don’t be such a hard ass, Uncle Ari.” You decide to tack on the last bit for his benefit, all the while trying hard to keep the edge out of your tone. But if he notices, he thankfully doesn’t comment.
“Fine. Melt.” You heave an exasperated sigh when he still doesn’t move. Climbing onto a nearby pool raft, you turn your attention back to your companion. “Jesus, you guys are always so serious, like all of the time. I mean, what’s wrong with having a little fun?”
“Alright.” That’s all you get before he reaches to pull his shirt over his head, revealing the sculpted body hiding beneath.
You scarcely have the chance to appreciate the sight before you’re treated to the sound of a splash. You let out a squeal as water goes splashing everywhere, rewetting your already rapidly drying body. Seconds later, Ari’s head breaks through the water.
“Happy now, princess?” He disappears again, only to reappear closer to where you’re currently lounging.
“Depends.”
“On?” He asks, seemingly content to tread water alongside you. You’d be lying to yourself if you didn’t at least admit that the man was kind of attractive.
Or, as your friends had put it, sexy as hell. Yeah, you weren’t quite sure how you felt about that one.
“Well…” You hedge, giggling when he splashes you to encourage you to hurry up.
“Out with it, Clover. A closed mouth doesn’t get fed.” Or fucked. He silently adds.
“There’s this party I kinda wanted to go to tonight. All my friends will be there and I haven't really had the chance to celebrate my birthday with them yet.” You finish, your teeth going to worry your bottom lip.
Ari studies you for a moment as he tries to figure out the best way to respond. “What did Uncle Steve and the others say?” He already knew that you'd asked them, and he wanted to make it clear that he’s not one to be so easily manipulated. “I’m assuming you asked them first.”
“They said “maybe”. Well, two of them did anyway. But then they left without ever giving me a real answer.”
“I see.” He offers you a cheeky grin while pausing to swat at a wayward fly. “Maybe we should call them. See if they’ve finally made up their minds–.”
“No!” You shoot straight up on your perch, accidently flipping the raft and sending you tumbling back into the icy cool water. You come up sputtering and coughing, and while you can’t quite tell, you’re also fairly certain that Ari is laughing at you.
“You all good?”
“Yeah.” You gag, hating the taste of chlorine.
Ari nods before moving to retrieve your float. He’s even kind enough to hold it still long enough for you to climb back on it again. Only once he’s satisfied that you’re secure does he seem interested in continuing the conversation.
“So…it sounds like you really wanna go to this party. Don’t you, Clover?”
“Yes.” You breathe, refusing to say anything more than that just in case he was actually considering it. You’re so desperate that you don’t even balk when he begins swimming towards the edge of the pool, dragging you along with him. He doesn’t speak again until he’s reached his destination.
“Tell me, will there be any drinking at this party?”
“Wha–no!”
“Now’s not the time to lie to me, princess. Will people be drinking at this party?” He reaches up to cup your chin, his brilliant blue eyes boring into yours as if he's attempting to unravel all of your secrets.
One by one.
“I swear! Grace’s parents would positively kill her if they found out she threw that kind of party.”
Ari quietly mulls over your answer before deeming it to be honest enough for his liking. “How about boys?”
Fuck. While you couldn’t be honest, you also didn’t want to lie. Not when you were this close to getting what you wanted. Which was freedom.
“Her little brother will be there. He’s a couple grades below us. But it's not like she can kick him out or anything.”
“Just her little brother, huh?” You could tell he was feeling more than a little skeptical. However, you’re surprised when he seemingly lets it slide. Releasing his grip on your chin, he gives you a little push, content to let you float away.
“I swear. We can’t do anything too crazy with him around – he’d rat us out sooo fast.”
Please believe me. Please believe me. Please believe me.
Holding your breath, you watch as he climbs out of the water. He makes a beeline for your towel, patting himself dry to the best of his ability before draping it over his shoulder.
“Okay, sweetheart. I might be willing to make an executive decision on this one, provided you’re willing to do something for me in return. Something that’ll keep at least some of the heat off of me when it comes to dealing with Steve and the boys.”
What you didn't know was that they had already discussed your desire to attend this party – him, Bucky, Andy, and Steve – and they'd decided that the answer was "no". But since you'd gone the last couple days without throwing a tantrum, Ari felt inclined to give you what you wanted. It also helped that he found your bratty ways to be rather endearing.
So long as you weren't outrightly disrespectful.
“Anything.” The word flies out of your mouth before you can catch it. And just like that, that damn tick in his jaw is back.
“The only way I feel comfortable enough letting you go is if you promise to text me every 30 minutes. Doesn’t have to be long. Just a message to let me and the other guys know you’re okay.”
What the hell?
You open your mouth to protest before deciding you’re better off not. Right now, you’d take the win and try to renegotiate the rest later.
“Take it or leave it, princess.”
“I’ll take it!” You reply, albeit probably a little too enthusiastically. “Thank you so much!”
Ari doesn’t even crack a smile. Instead that damned tick of his only seems to grow even more pronounced. “Alright.” With that, he turns and begins striding towards the door. “I’ll, uh…I’ll get you another towel.” He pauses once he reaches his destination, turning to face you once more.
“And Clover?”
“Yeah?” You call back, feeling happier than you have in almost two whole weeks.
“Don’t make me regret this." Ari rumbles, allowing you to get a good, long look at his muscled, hair covered chest. "I'd hate for my kindness to come back and bite me in the ass. It would be a shame to start the summer off on such a bad note.”
“I…”
His words leave you so speechless that you can only watch as Ari proceeds to waltz through the sliding door, leaving you outside all alone once more. But not before reiterating his promise to bring you another towel so that you can get ready for lunch.
“Well, fuck…” Is all you can muster before rolling yourself off your float and into the cooling expanse of the water. You swim down to the bottom, touching the floor with both hands as you work to center yourself.
You hold your breath for as long as you’re able before the need for oxygen forces you to resurface. As you greedily gulp air into your burning lungs you tell yourself not to give a fuck about Ari and his bullshit. Instead, you decide to focus on the most important aspect of tonight, namely…
Just what in the hell were you going to wear?

😅Real Villain Training [Tom Hiddleston circa 2012 X Fem.Reader]
Chapter three of Breath of the Æsir is almost here. I’m SO sorry for the wait! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy a very brief Tom story...
Tumblr media
Honestly, I pledged to myself, no more Tom stories just focus on Loki. But I think I just can't help it. Especially when slutty inspiration like this photo comes my way (@lokischambermaid and @lokisgoodgirl 😳)
I am humbled by this era of Tom. In 2024 he is a husband/father/seasoned iconic actor in perpetual good cheer, but in 2012, he was a bad boy. As always please reblog and comment if you feel inspired!
Summary: Tom is hanging out with some real jerks for a new role, and he runs into you, literally. Your depression has caused your life to turn a little black and white, could this handsome stranger possibly add some color back? (at least to your cheeks🥵).
Smut factor: I hope...HOT 🔥
(Authors note: I have no concrete proof he was in fact a bad boy so please don't take seriously my young Tom plot themes of drugs and sex, which once again appear here. I could be totally wrong about him. It's art! It's a fabrication! Also, this story does involve mental health!)
I also don't know who would want to be on a tag list for a Tom fic these days! These are a few people who might be interested?? @lokischambermaid @mochie85 @mischief2sarawr @lokisgoodgirl @wheredafandomat @sailorholly @mrs-illyrian-baby @superficialdomina @gigglingtiggerv2 @fictive-sl0th @muddyorbs @tbhiddlestan83 @huntress-artemiss @smolvenger @kikster606 @mjsthrillernp @hiroyukinasukawa
Los Angeles, 2012
That afternoon, the rooftop pool at the Saint Avalon was a pink swirl of bathing beauties in early spring. Tom tried to focus on his deadpan conversation with his agent, but polka dots and silly cocktails danced around him. He pushed his Ray-Bans back into place, his sweat—or perhaps nervousness—causing them to slowly slide off his nose.
"Serious British actor succumbs to being typecast as a Norse sociopath. That's where this is headed, Tom, if we don’t do something, get you something else.” “Do you really want to be known only for Marvel?” he repeated his plea. The words just weren’t sinking in.
Tom laughed and inadvertently tried to change the subject. "Have you been to the La Brea Tar Pits yet, John? It’s wild—10,000 years' worth of dire wolf bones.”
His stare remained galvanized by the poolside girls. They just didn't look like that in London. Number one, the sunshine. Number two, the tans. Number three, well, his girlfriend—or ex-girlfriend, rather—made it hard to look too long at anyone else. So had he ever found himself at a rooftop pool party, he wouldn't have had the chance he was having now.
“Tom, are you paying attention? This is important. You're only here for a week, and we need to move on this role. I need to know if you're a yes.” The truth was, Tom was suddenly filthy rich with his own money for the first time in his life. He really loved being a Norse sociopath and already had big ideas for Loki’s eventual character arc into becoming an anti-hero someday. He had filled three journals on his bedside stand with his ideas for Loki.
His agent tried again, “Just hang out with Giorgio. It’s less than a month. Then the movie should be a very easy shoot. You get to embed yourself with some real hedge fund cats.” Tom’s attention snapped back. “Wait, I like that.” “Right? It’s like if Loki worked on Wall Street.” “Well…” Tom hesitated. He didn’t think Loki would actually ever bore himself that way. Those guys were boring to Tom and to Loki.
His poor agent was right, though. He did need another role. Things had gone so well; filming for the next Avengers movie was starting this summer. If he could find another gig, a time filler, a totally different genre, it really would be the best for his career. “Then a play next,” the agent mused, taking a sip of his own cocktail. “Shakespeare, or something 70s.” “70s? As in the 1570s? Or the 1970s?” “Tom.” “How should I know?” Tom laughed to himself, eyes still canvassing the poolside display around him. His agent leaned across his lawn chair and placed his hand on Tom’s shoulder. “So, you’ll do it?”
Two Weeks Later
Deep down, he knew he didn’t have the dissociation required for the job. He was too corporeal, too embodied. Years of being a long-distance runner and a trained athlete had fastened his mind, heart, and soul firmly into his muscles. He clearly wouldn’t be able to hide his feelings in his highly emotive, sensitive body. That was the first thing he noticed about the guys he was forced to hang out with for this role. They were covered up with their suits and sexist jokes. It was like they had Hadrian’s Wall around them. Which was, in fact, what exactly led to his sudden departure from the bar at Rue 23.
He had been embedded with short and loud Glen, buzz-cut Ellis, and the tall and lanky, just like him, Brad Nelson. There were a few others, but they were too milquetoast to be memorable. Role be damned. He left so fast the thick glass door almost hit a nice young couple as he bolted into the cold Los Angeles spring night.
He wasn’t dressed right; in his haste to leave London, he didn’t remember that California got into the 40s after the sun went down. He didn’t even pack a suit coat. Thank God he remembered to grab his leather pack from under the bar. It contained exactly five cigarettes, a finicky Zippo, his aftershave, a white t-shirt, and a travel toothbrush. There might also be a rolled-up Popular Mechanics magazine from the Burbank airport, something he never would be caught dead reading at Heathrow.
He also hadn’t done so much coke since he was in college. Why was LA always so incredibly cliché? He couldn’t blame Luke. He couldn’t blame anyone but himself for this role. He said yes when he was distracted. He was in over his head. They had hired these real blokes to make sure Tom looked authentic when they started filming next month, and given his intense drive for perfection, he had agreed that it was “brilliant” of the casting director to force the eight of them to spend these weeks in Los Angeles and one week in Manhattan, in a true immersive centrifuge of shallow materiality.
The night spun around him, a neon ball of yarn, teasing open his pupils until his eyes were black and not at all blue. As he walked, he ran his large hands down the surface of his body, the material of his shirt feeling like a fancy pillowcase from a boutique hotel.
One finger lingered over his jawline, tracing it as he brought his hands back up to his face. Engrossed in the comfort of his form a moment too long, he was distracted once again. This part of LA seemed to always be full of clusters of locals and tourists, laughing and talking. He was unfortunately moving against the flow of the crowd, a wayward salmon when he almost ran straight into you.
“Watch where you're going!” you yelled, dropping your purse onto the dirty LA sidewalk. It opened enough for your things to tumble out. Tom immediately stopped and bent down to help you, but you batted his hands away. “What the hell? I can pick up my own damn Chapstick,” you scolded. “Ma’am, I am so sorry, I am obviously not from here, and I am a little overwhelmed,” he rattled off. “Why is that obvious?” “My accent, of course.” “I didn’t honestly notice,” you spoke as you inspected the tall man’s face with squinting eyes.
You, of course, did immediately notice the timbre of his voice, his height, and the buttons on his tight shirt which looked like they were in the process of unbuttoning themselves. “Would you believe I’ve been doing coke all night with a bunch of Wall Street assholes at the Rue 23, and I had to get the fuck out of there,” he continued, not sure if you were listening, but you were definitely looking at him, so he continued.
“So now I am wandering the streets of Beverly Hills, and I haven’t the foggiest how the rest of my night will go.” You shuffled your feet for a moment before speaking. You had been heading home after a long day at work. You felt genuinely unprepared for navigating a handsome foreigner in the right direction. Yet there was a certain appeal to a man suddenly without his ship or his crew, so to speak. So you didn’t immediately walk away.
He had been shuffled from the airport to the bar in a hired car, he tried to explain, and his sense of direction bordered on problematic. Further, his flip phone was really only good for texting, and that even took way too long most days. He really did seem high, overwhelmed, and a little lost. He also seemed the type unable to handle any silence in a conversation.
“Do you live far?” he said after suffering through 30 seconds of no discourse. “It’s LA, everything is far.” “Fair enough,” Tom muttered sheepishly, fiddling with the buttons on his shirt, which were still somehow unbuttoning themselves. He thought he had bought the right size shirt. Maybe not.
You realized that if you were to ask this too-high, too-hot British man back to your apartment, you would inevitably cave and end up sleeping with him just because he caught you in this particular moment of your life. It was an in-between time. You weren't quite your old self and your new self that you'd been working so hard on, hadn't emerged yet.
“Want to grab something to eat?” You finally offered a neutral segue. That seemed to be just what the man needed to hear. His demeanor calmed. “Oh sure, yes, I could go for a big American cheeseburger, honestly.” “Okay then, let’s go to Patty’s on Vine, we can walk,” you said as you pulled at his shirt to turn him toward the right direction. He bristled at the feeling of your touch.
His whole body was even more sensitive than usual. You looked like the queen of the ancient British Iceni to him. In truth, he didn’t much care for the California look. He loved that you appeared out of nowhere and you looked like Boudica, not like Gwyneth Paltrow. Even though he was sure he heard she was nice. RDJ seemed to really love her.
The diner where you were headed was the second-tier after-hours hang, so it wasn’t populated with the usual crowd, not yet at least. You had some time before you would be inundated, and perhaps before someone would recognize him, which you still did not. You could ask him, of course. Although, sometimes in Los Angeles, the worst part is knowing who someone is.
Although Tom being Tom was unable to resist personal questions. “Tell me a little bit about yourself, just a little,” he had to ask as the night air propelled him quickly down the sidewalk. You considered telling him about your job, but it was just how you paid the bills. Your passions were your passions and not for a stranger. So you decided to be a little goth. It couldn't hurt.
“I have something like anhedonia, I suppose,” you finally said. Tom seemed to know what you meant right away. “The inability to feel?” He spoke. “More classically refined, which results in numbness, making capturing interior somatic sensations nearly impossible,” you clarified. “Sounds like you are depressed,” Tom flattened out your creative retelling of your current state. “Maybe,” although you weren't sure of his simple label. "You think it will pass?" Tom continued, ever the optimist.
You considered one way to try and test if this state you'd been in could possibly change, would be to see if he could provoke feelings of passion or at least some kind of low-grade horniness. You’d been feeling functionally blank for a while now.
He was stunning, after all.
He seemed game for anything, his amphetamine grin taking up the majority of his handsome face. He looked so lovely under the hanging light in your dingy booth. You ate the two-egg special you ordered and watched him devour his American cheeseburger with genuine joy.
“So, you're here to practice for a new part?” You sincerely tried to keep the conversation flowing despite the growing desire to test your theory. “Yes, they want me to branch out. In my career, there’s the fear I am already 'type-casted,' I guess you could say.” “Type-casted? So early on?”
He looked young to you. Possibly younger than you actually. “Yes, I had a big role as a villain, it really blew up, but, he's like a mythological comic book one. I am misunderstood mostly. I mean my character, not me.” "Sure." You nodded in understanding and agreed even if you didn’t quite pick up what he was putting down. You wondered if he had ever seen 'The Last Starfighter.' A favorite movie of yours, you rarely shared with anyone else. Or had he been in that? Your mind wandered. You really didn't recognize him, but you also didn't want to offend him by this fact.
“So how would this role be redefining your abilities? If you are playing a heartless hedge fund dude, isn’t that also a kind of villain? Maybe that is why you got this part.” Tom pondered your insight. He again fell into overthinking and was only a text away from bailing on the entire endeavor. He was becoming that kind of guy, emotionally uneven under his elite veneer.
“I guess they feel like I don’t have the chops to be a 'real world' baddie.” “I needed more practice.” “You don’t?” you said very timidly, suddenly you weren’t hungry anymore. You gently pushed your plate aside so you could focus.
You realized his bromance compadres would find him eventually. Another LA truth: it was hard to get truly lost for long. You had been studying his face during the conversation. His pale complexion was slowly becoming flushed in small increments. Was it shyness or a hidden boldness he was bursting to demonstrate, you couldn't tell.
You had worn your espadrilles today, maybe it wasn’t the right season yet, but they always went so well with your outfit-a flowery dress from H&M. Gently and playfully, you kicked one of them off your foot, making a soft thud. Tom dipped his eyes beneath the table for only a moment and brought them back to you, a new flash of crimson emerging. Why were you taking off your shoes? Maybe your feet hurt from the walk?
He picked up his water and chugged almost all of it.
Your right leg lifted up and found purchase exactly between his, landing on the soft seat. Tom chuckled nervously and grabbed your foot. “Just what are you doing?” “I thought you were in training to be a real villain. Or did I misunderstand that?” You teased. Tom’s sincerity and earnestness were effulgent. “Oh no, I am, I really want the part, I need this role.” Suddenly when the idea of something illicit going on beneath the table loomed, he was not reticent about this new role. “Then you better continue to practice.” You laughed, your own smile forming across your face. “How long do we have until they find you?” You inched your foot closer to his crotch.
Tom took a deep breath in and pulled out his flip phone eyes squinting, trying to see the rectangle text banner across the tiny screen. He held the phone up to you. “Can you read this at all?” You grabbed it from him, feeling his hand shaking a little. It was charming. He was nervous.
You read the tiny screen aloud, “Not really, something about where are you at…you wanker, we are about to call your agent." It did say exactly that, and you wondered if possibly Tom was throwing away this role. Were you watching him collapse his career before your eyes? “Are you one for self-sabotage Tom?” The question seemed to catch him off guard. Maybe no one had asked him so bluntly. “Maybe,” he said after a long minute of typing something on the seemingly minute phone with his long fingers and even larger hands. “Just like I am possibly depressed," you offered. He looked up and sat his phone down. “Yes, I think so. Just like that.”
Incoming
Just then the waitress came by filled your water glasses and gave you another quick refill of coffee. Your chosen sobriety was a strange foil to Tom’s imbibed stimulant cocktail which showed no sign of waning. “So, are we on?” He finally said after biting his bottom lip, for what seemed like a year, until it was slightly puffy.
“For what? A staring contest?” You offered, laughing nervously too, your foot still stationed between his thighs. You wondered what you could accomplish at this hour with the looming threat of an incursion at any moment.
The glimmer in his dilated orbs registered that Tom was now aligned in a mission of testing the perpetuity of your anhedonic state. Suddenly under the table, you felt his long legs spread yours apart, like opening a long-closed window that had been painted over.
You gasped but didn’t say anything. He laughed and widened his legs further. You moved your eyes to watch him under the table, his hand reaching down to adjust his cock, which was obviously becoming hard.
At that moment you wanted to jump over to his side of the booth, you wanted to concede and take him to your far away apartment in embarrassing Marina Del Rey.
Tom went silent and finally let go of your bare foot, he had been holding it so hard with his other hand, that you were sure it would be bruised. You immediately placed it on his now impossibly hard cock, tenting his pants obscenely. Honestly, you’d never given a “foot job” before and only seen something like this in a French film once. You had no idea what you were doing.
You slowly began to move your foot up and down his length, which was quite impressive and required more force than you had anticipated. You curled your toes around him to try and create more friction, dragging your heel just at the base.
You placed your hands on the edge of the diner seat so you could put some real weight into getting him off. That seemed to work, and Tom let out a guttural moan. He quickly grabbed your water glass and drank it in addition to his own.
“Should I stop?” You let yourself wonder out loud. “Are you crazy? No.” Was Tom’s quick reply. “Does this feel good?” “Fuck yes.” His voice was breathy, and he shifted in his seat, daring to look around at the customers, but none showed any sign of noticing anything other than themselves. “But this isn’t fair,” he spoke again softly, panting. “How so?” “Because I am um, I am receiving.” “Aren’t you supposed to be a selfish cold surface-level junior business asshole?” “Yes.” “Then this is what they do, they get foot jobs in diners, amongst other perks of course,” you laughed. “Shit, you’re right,” Tom barely squeaked out.
Just then the diner door opened, and you could see the dim faces of the guys he had been partying with. They finally found him. “Don’t look now but your Republican friends have arrived.” Tom’s flush became pale. “Should I stop?” You checked in again. “No.” His response was as clear as mid-day.
So, you increased your speed, you took a deep breath. You were so turned on at this point. You were positive there would be a wet spot on the cracked vinyl seat. You lifted your skirt up further. Tom noticed and peered beneath the table again. He saw your hand brush past your underwear and a finger curl inside the lace trim. You matched his erratic breathing to your motions as you fucked yourself intently. His eyes were glued to you, his fists almost punching into the flimsy placemats. You laughed to yourself about the chances of you both coming in public, surely, he wouldn’t, or you couldn’t.
You were about to mention that perhaps you should stop. When suddenly Tom let out a muffled cry. His breath hitched. You could feel moisture beneath the bottom of your toes as you brought your foot back to the tip of his generous cock once more. “Ah, I see,” you laughed. "Well looks like we are done here." There was no more time to discuss what just happened. The bros had spotted him and you and made their way to your back corner.
Tom closed his eyes in what looked like a silent prayer. He had just had one of the best orgasms of his life. The short blond one with cropped hair spoke up, “Hiddleston, where the fuck have you been, your agency was about to call the cops, which would have been lame.”
“Hiddleston,” you said his surname out loud. Realizing you never got his last name. Tom looked at you with both lust and remorse. Then turned back to the assholes. “You found me, good work,” he said assuredly. “Well we gotta go dick we have a strip club that closes at 3am and it’s in the contract that we take you there.”
Tom slowly got up and used one of his long fingers to expertly untuck that white button-down shirt to conceal the mess you had both made. He looked your way, the pale blue of his eyes returning.
You exchanged numbers for the pleasantry of it, as the assholes looked on impatiently, probably wondering why Tom was wasting his time on a girl who looked like Boudica, but that's just what assholes do you remembered. Although you really didn’t expect to hear from him again. To your surprise right before dawn, perhaps as he was leaving said strip club, a text came over your Blackberry.
“I hope you felt something, I know I did.” Shit.
You did feel something, a lot of things actually. Tom had brought something back to the solemnly plain bagel of your life. You quickly wrote back.
"Don't let the bros see you texting me Tom, you laughed knowing he was probably squinting and barely able to see your words. You picture all of them looking over his shoulder.
"They went home. Can I come over? I feel like we aren't done quite yet. My asshole-in-training self expires at sunrise and I turn back into the real me. Is that okay?" You blinked a few times just to make sure you saw that correctly. "So you're actually Cinderella," you laughed nervously.
You managed to type your address and push send before pulling your covers over your head and screaming quietly enough to not wake up your still-slumbering roommates. You then looked around your room in quiet delightful horror, you had about 30 minutes to hide all your dirty clothes from the past three months under your bed...

Poolside Bliss
OPEN RP

"Go on! You can do it!" Makoto Nijimia whispered and waved, silently cheering for Your Muse as you approached the pool. Makoto, your friend for a while, knew of your crush on her big sister. And so... well, she had set this up. You coming across the two as they visited the pool late at night
"Oh... hello." Sae blinked as she emerged from the water. Droplets dripping down her flesh, rolling over her full breasts. Her tight black swimsuit showed off every curve in a magical way "We weren't expecting to see you here..."

So because i'm obsessed with this fictional band and their fictional muse from my Stoner Polycule fic 'Chokehold'. I decided to make a fake album cover for Muse. I'll probably also make another edit for the album they write a little later but i'm going to wait until I get to that point in the story because the song titles might work as spoilers.
Muse album songs:
Cocaine baby
Sugar high
4 on 1 (feat. B.H.)
Poolside lover
Addicted
Between your legs
Lost little runaway
Sticky Sweet
Screaming matches (make for the best makeup sex)
Make up, make out
Bonus (secret song)
11. Slow, deep, and hard (feat B.H.)

teaser 1 here if you missed it
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☀︎ ⋆⁺₊⋆
“Open up.”
You’ve been enjoying this game of trading one sense for another, and you keep your eyes shut firmly, letting your jaw fall open and your tongue hang out. A piece of peach, fleshy and dripping with juice, finds its way onto your tongue, pinched too roughly between strong fingers. When you close your lips around the fruit, the fingers stay with it, frozen in their pinched position and forcing you to suck the peach from them, to swallow around them, to run your tongue along them and get as much of the meat as you can. When the fingers withdraw from your lips, you open your eyes and gasp quietly.
Eren’s leaning over you, a solar eclipse that smells like tan skin and sounds like Campari, and in the silhouette of the sunlight, you think he’s smiling.
“You’re still hungry,” he says, a question that’s left its punctuation mark behind. You think of Historia, of the shame of revealing your appetite. You dodge.
“I’m never hungry.”
“Never?” Eren crawls over you to kneel between your legs, propping one of your ankles up on his shoulder. The game you started is ripped out of your hands, chess pieces flying into the pool, scattering across the table, knocking over bottles and matchbooks. It’s so silent out here in the sun it hurts, and you almost miss the constant buzzing horseflies of early summer.
“Never.”
“If you’ve never been hungry,” Eren muses, tilting his head so that his cheekbone fits into the sensitive arch of your foot, reaching a hand down to splay it wide on your belly, “you’ve never been full.”
“How do you figure?” Your words come out throaty, waterlogged.
“Can’t have one without the other.” Eren shrugs, turning his head to the side. His lips brush against your heel, your Achilles’, the swirly seashell dangling from your anklet. You dig your teeth into your bottom lip, toes twitching behind his ear. “I don’t believe you, anyway.”
“No?” You try to tilt your head coyly, like your heart’s not clawing and scratching against your throat to get to him. Hungry, indeed.
“You wouldn’t stare like that if you didn’t want to.”
You’re taken aback, but not enough to fall out of the moment, Eren’s lips closing around the knob of your ankle slowly, like the pit of a fruit, make sure of that.
“Didn’t want to what?”
Eren’s hands meet the cushion on either side of your head hard enough to rattle the chair, his long, tanned body stretching over yours. He’s close enough to brush his nose against yours, but you can still see the hazy green of his eyes flicking here and there on your face: from your eyes to your lips to the beauty mark on your cheek. Your poolside lounge feels more like a butcher’s block under your taut spine.
Sasha’s told you about the wolves in these hills, that they howl murder at night, but they’re sleepy and indulgent in the heat of the sun. One of Eren’s canines catches the light and glints at you as he grins.
“Eat yourself sick.”
-
come hang in my inbox if u have questions or thoughts or literally anything at all hehehehehehe i love you guys!!! enjoy him <3

Note
Elliot and Emma: “It’s been fun. We’ve had a good run, but you parked in my spot. I’m going to have to kill you now.”
Because I love them and desperately need fluff.
"It’s been fun."
Emma looked up from her book as her brother strode onto the pool deck at their parents house. It wasn't warm enough yet for a true pool day, but the sun made it warm enough to lounge poolside in a pair of jeans and a sweater.
"What's been—?" Emma began, only for Elliot to cut her off as he continued.
"We’ve had a good run, you and I," he mused. "Some days, I even thought you were my favorite sib—"
Emma snorted. "Of course I'm your favorite—"
"—but then you went and parked in my spot..." he said, stopping at the foot of Emma's lounge chair as she rolled her eyes, preparing herself to defend her choice of parking, which had been a purposeful decision, figuring that since she was the first one to arrive home, she could park wherever she wanted, traditions be damned.
"AndI’mgoingtohavetokillyounow.”
Elliot's final sentence came out quickly enough that it allowed no room for Emma to explain herself and could barely be considered a warning. As h said it, he removed the paperback from his sister's hands and pulled Emma up in his arms, tossing her into the pool barely a second later. Her sharp, affronted screams were brief, lasting only until her head dunked beneath the surface of the frigid water.
Emma gasped as she emerged at the water's surface a few seconds later. She surged out of the water with astounding speed, scrambling to her feet as she climbed onto the deck.
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" she shouted, chasing after her brother as he headed back towards the house and the only protection he could think of—their mother's steadfast rules.
They had never been allowed in the house straight out of the pool when they were dripping wet and Elliot figured there was no way in hell Grace Trevelyan-Grey would allow it now. His mother would never risk the beauty of her hardwood floors so one of her children could exact revenge...even if that revenge was possibly a tiny bit deserved.
Elliot was right about the floors. And he was right about his mother being a stickler for rules, so he felt safe as he stood in the kitchen, watching his drenched and shivering sister approach the wall of french doors, but Elliot had forgotten something important.
He'd forgotten his mother was a doctor. He'd forgotten that she would never leave her baby soaking wet out in the cold. He'd forgotten that she'd without hesitation bring her child inside and coddle her and warm her, doing all of those things while she chastised her eldest son who "should've known better than to toss his sister in the cold water."
And he'd forgotten how infuriatingly devious and charming his youngest sister could be, and how she'd milk the situation for all it was worth, playing up her discomfort and complaining to anyone who would listen about what Elliot had done.
And while Emma hadn't come remotely close to killing Elliot as she had so vehemently promised as she exited the pool, her revenge was somehow worse because before the day was through, Elliot had been lectured at least six different times about the stupidity of his actions, all while Emma got coddled and doted on, her car still parked in his precious parking spot, the one he'd claimed when she was still learning how to ride a bike.
Send me a drabble-ish prompt.

Muse Relay Interview Part 1 - Dom Howard [INROCK (October 2012)]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
New album 'The 2nd Law ' released 3rd October. Muse Relay Interview / Part 1 - Dominic Howard.
To be honest, the old sound feels like crap to us now…
Dominic Howard/Muse INTERVIEW: P.G. BRUNELLI/INROCK
Charming and polite, Dominic Howard is the only member of Muse who enjoys the single life. Despite being a member of a big band that is so big worldwide, he himself is not at all discreet. This very big man, who is not recognisable from the outside, is now sitting by the poolside of a Shoreditch hotel in London's East End. Like him, this place is not very discreet from the outside, but it is in fact a fashionable and luxurious place, with a pool and a wonderful restaurant on the seventh floor overlooking the London skyline. There are a lot of pretentious people walking around with a confident attitude, as if they belong to some exclusive members-only club. Well, they probably do, but it's interesting to watch their world-conquering attitude. This is because, although they don't show it, there is a humble man right next to me who has actually conquered the world. Despite the rain, Dominic wears sunglasses under an umbrella. Perhaps it's a habit in Los Angeles, where he moved to be near frontman Matthew Bellamy. During the recording of the new album 'The 2nd Law', Dominic also made various suggestions and contributed more than ever to the album's production.
Breaking with the past seems to have been Muse's motto this time round? Dominic Howard (dr.) : That's always been our motto.
Do you think the reason for that is because mentally you're in a different place? Or is it simply because you're tired of playing the same old tunes? Dominic: In our case, we've been on tour for quite a long time, so that's a natural way of thinking about it. We tour for two and a half years and it really starts to feel like work. So when you've been on tour for that long, you get stuck in a rut with the way you play, the way you express the songs, the way you put on a show. If you start making an album with that feeling, there's a fear that you're going to repeat what you've done in the past, which is a theory that you can't explain. We don't want to touch anything that has to do with the past or is connected to the past anyway, so we can dig deeper into ourselves to explore new ideas.
"The last album had some parts that were too specific, but this one is more varied and experimental, and every song has some kind of surprise in it."
You played your second album Origin of Symmetry in its entirety at Reading Festival last year, does that represent a complete break with the past? Dominic: Yeah, it was a break with our distant past. We'd just celebrated the tenth anniversary of the release of that album, and we hardly played any songs from it, so it was nice to look back on it after all these years. It was fun to play it in a completely different way. At the same time, it made us realise how different we are as a band compared to the past, and how different a place we're trying to go to. To be honest, for us now, the sound we had back then feels like crap… It's a really cool album, of course, but it really shows how much we've changed. We played the album in its entirety and then played some new songs as an encore, and we were surprised at how different it sounded. It felt like the new songs made a lot more sense to us.
Chris (Wolstenholme, b.) says you wanted a different drumming style? The beginning and end of the songs are in a completely different style. Do you think this album is the most forward-thinking you've made as a drummer? Dominic: Yeah, I definitely think so. Especially in terms of production. We spent a lot more time playing together on this album than practising individually. Through that, we tried to get used to playing with three people and to understand the meaning and the feeling of each song. In terms of production, I really feel like we've made the most progress so far. The same goes for the electronic sound, I emphasised that aspect more deeply than ever before, and I had a lot of fun with the programming aspect as well. Electronic and programming are my favourite areas, and I love working in that environment. In our case, we basically worked in the same way as electronic artists, but we used real instrumental sounds. We layered a lot of drum sounds on top of each other. We use a lot of crazy drum sounds anyway, and there are a lot of songs that are made up of snare drums and big '80s sounds.
Which songs are you referring to, for example? Dominic: 'Panic Station' has a really interesting funky drum sound. It's got trumpets in it too. It's simple, but it's got an ongoing groove to it. I just wanted this song to have a big, loud, '80s-ish influenced drum sound. We've never done that before.
There's a similar funk-ish sound on 'Big Freeze', is there any connection between the two songs? Dominic: I'd say they're connected in that we used that big snare drum sound. 'The 2nd Law: Unsustainable' also takes a slightly different approach, in terms of the sonic concept. It's influenced by dubstep and electronic music, but we've done it in our own unique way by playing it with real instruments. We use orchestras for the build-up parts and then we actually play them during the climax parts. We wanted the drums to sound electronic, but with real drums, so we layered them on top of each other like never before.
This is only the second album you've produced yourself, but with such a complex sound, you must have had a lot more confidence in the production side of things than last time? Dominic: Yeah, I don't know if you can tell from listening to it, but we were quite confident this time. We knew exactly what we were doing in the studio compared to last time, and that's why we were able to experiment. Last time, we were in a studio in Italy and we tried producing for the first time, and it sounded good, but at the same time it was too idiosyncratic. That's what my manager said to me, and I think it's true. I guess you could say that we were trying to establish our own unique sound in complete isolation from the rest of the world. In fact, that was the goal of the last album. We were trying to establish a sound that was rooted in the roots of the band. This time, on the other hand, we're more experimental. There's a lot of variety on this album, there's a lot of different styles. Every song has some surprises. In terms of sound, in terms of production, and in terms of style. Anyway, we had to have a certain amount of confidence to do something so experimental.
People said that the last album was like you did whatever you wanted and got drunk on yourself, didn't you? The last three songs of the trilogy were particularly so. That's gone on this one, hasn't it? Dominic: Yeah, those three symphonies are definitely different. We're focusing more on the sound of each song this time.
Was it hard to decide which songs to include on the album? You must have had a lot of choices? Dominic: No, not at all. In our case, in the end, there's no song that we don't like or that we like but won't finish. If we decide that a song doesn't have the potential to be good, we don't go any further with it, and we never finish it halfway. In other words, if a song has potential, we record it straight away and use it as is. We never record 25 songs and then choose songs for the album. If we write a good song, we finish it and record it, that's it. Anyway, this time we emphasised the songs themselves rather than the big symphony pads, so we're not so drunk on ourselves like we were on the last record, and we were able to experiment a lot more in terms of sound rather than weird and quirky arrangements.
By the way, I understand you live in Los Angeles now. When did you move there? Dominic: I haven't moved completely, I kind of live half in L.A. and half in London. But I've been living in Los Angeles for 18 months now.
Did you move in after Matthew (Bellamy, vo./keys:/g.)? Dominic: Yeah, because we work as a team a lot. Also, a good friend of mine called Tom lives in L.A., so I thought I'd move there too. By the way, Tom does video work for us and he's the camera director at our shows. I've been working a lot in the US, especially in Los Angeles, for the last couple of years, and I really love it there. Matthew and Tom met their partner (Matthew's partner is Kate Hudson) in Los Angeles. We had some time off after the tour, so we decided to escape the English winter and go to Los Angeles. I love the vibe and the music scene in Los Angeles. Hollywood is really rock 'n' roll. It's always had that rock 'n' roll vibe from the past. Especially in the '80s. I like that a lot. I like that there are still old venues like the Roxy, the Troubadour, and the Whisky. They haven't been turned into supermarkets like in London, or tube stations like Astoria. If you go down the Sunset Strip, there are rich, luxurious houses and hotels all over the place, but next to them there are 200+ metal fans queuing outside to see a show at the House of Blues. It's a really fun city and I've made some great friends.
Both Matthew and Chris now have families, and there may be babysitters on the road soon, what do you think about that? Dominic: I think it's nice to have that family feel, isn't it? Yeah, I think it would be fun. Chris has had a family for 13 years now and Matthew is a father now, so there will be some changes, but I don't think it will affect the band too much. We've got to get a family bus for now.
Can you name a few of your personal favourite songs and talk about their background? Dominic: 'Panic Station' is a very important song and I think it will eventually become a single. I think that song will help to dispel the misconception that we're a hard-headed, serious band. We use a lot of symphonies and orchestras, so you might get that impression, and I think there are a lot of people who actually think "Muse are a weird band who are drunk on themselves", but this song shows that we're just having a bit of fun with the joke. It's a bit of '80s disco funk, influenced by David Bowie's 'Scary Monsters' and stuff like that. Especially vocally. We have four singers, as well as trumpets and saxophones, who have worked with Madonna, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, and they also played on Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition'. So it's a really fun song and I like it because it shows another side of Muse that we don't normally show. It's a song for a live performance. I also like a song called 'Animals', which is a very raw sounding song, just the three of us playing music in an unobtrusive way. It's about us just jamming to a groove, and we wanted to create the atmosphere of three people having fun playing in one room. If you listen closely, there are a lot of parts where it sounds like we're improvising. I also really like 'Supremacy'. It's got a big, stadium-grade riff and it's got a big sound, which is what we wanted with that song…
"'Panic Station' is a good opportunity for us to dispel the misconception that we're a hard-headed, serious band."
Like Black Sabbath? Dominic: You're the second person today to point out the Black Sabbath influence. It definitely sounds like Black Sabbath. I think the last album was so unique because we didn't want to write songs with the idea of playing them live, and we didn't want to think about playing them live at all anyway. We just wanted to work in the studio and forget we were a live band. But this time, on the contrary, we wrote the songs with that in mind, remembering that feeling of playing in a stadium live. That's why it sounds like a live show. There's also a bit of Ennio Morricone influence again, which we touched on a bit in the past, and it's been a while since we've done that, so it was quite fun to do something again that we haven't done on the last few albums. Anyway, this song has a great snare drum, bass drum, and cymbal sound, it's like a movie. I think it should be the theme song for the next James Bond film. It's got a very cinematic feel to it.
You're even going to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics, so maybe it wouldn't be a dream to get an offer for the Bond theme song. By the way, how many backing musicians do you have on stage these days? Dominic: Morgan (Nicholls, keys. and other backing vocals) is the only one. He's the only one we need at the moment, but we'll see what happens.
If you're going to do 'Panic Station' live, you'll need a trumpet player too, won't you? Or just programme that part in advance? Dominic: Hmmm… Yes, you can programme it, but it's still very different from the real thing. We want to play live with a real brass band, and we're going to perform with a real chorus on 'Survival'. Maybe we'll do a few small shows before the album is released, focusing on those kinds of performances. If it happens, we definitely want to use real musicians. All the trumpet players, all the chorus members, all the brass bands, all the strings. We might not be able to tour the world with it, but if it's financially feasible with a small production, I'd love to do some of those as special shows.
Translator's Note: Dom coming into that hotel in Shoreditch like a cool motherfucker ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Part 2 of the relay interview will be Matt Bellamy and was released on the November 2012 issue of INROCK. Luckily, I've already bought it alongside with this current issue. Unfortunately, there is also a Part 3 to this relay interview, and now I have go find the December 2012 issue that covers Chris' interview.

LYRICS FROM MY MUSE'S PLAYLISTS 🍑 SENTENCE STARTERS
Tumblr media
( below are lyrics from my various muse's playlists as sentence starters. feel free to change pronouns as necessary. do not steal. )
Tumblr media
" Here our laid to rest is our love ever longed. "
" You are a stranger here, why have you come? "
" God knows what is hiding in those weak and sunken eyes. "
" The mistake I've made; it can't be turned around. "
" To sun swept, poolside riches. "
" And it won't be long till you find yourself singing your last cowboy song. "
" What you'll see is the worst me. "
" I'm a goddamn coward, but then again, so are you. "
" The falling leaf that never tries to hold on to what keeps it alive. "
" I was broken from a young age. "
" They say; 'you used to be so kind!' "
" Just as an angel cried for the slaughter. "
" Everybody knows the fight was fixed. "
" Don't underestimate the hunter. "
" 'Cause I just couldn't open up, I'm always shiftin' "
" Days fade into a watercolour blur. "
" It's just the way you're glancing at me. "
" The people always different but it always feels the same. "
" Still I know I'll see you there. "
" Get my pretty name outta your mouth. "
" Another evening I'll be sitting reading in between your lines. "
" But you don't, boy, it's just for show. "
" I know they're tired of me. "
" She's just like candy, she's so sweet "
" Or do you have some other important shit you have to do right now? "
" A melancholy town where we never smile. "
" A-cup, D-cup, give me love, don't cover up "
" I know my faults, but I can't hide them "
" Baby, are you coming for the ride? "
" I'll only hurt you if you let me. "

Rules, kinks and favorite idols/groups
I've had this blog for a while but finally I'm not busy enough to keep it active. So there are the rules:
Idols must be 18 or older (obviously).
Sex must always be consensual.
Besides rape, I also avoid stuff like scat, vomit and necrophilia.
I don't write G!P smuts. I allow for the use of strap-ons but not actual penises for idols that have vaginas.
I keep note on every request and will select a few if the story fits. All smuts will feature at least one female idol and a male reader.
My favorite fantasies are: anal (my #1), breeding, creampie, dirty talk dom/sub, facefucking, morning sex, poolside sex, public sex, rough sex, spanking and titfucking. As you can see, I'm on the rougher side of the spectrum and my smuts veer into the porny side but can do romantic stuff if asked to.
Now on to the idols.
I have idols spawning from 2nd to 4th generation as my biases, my all time top 10 is, ordered by their groups: AOA Seolhyun, Blackpink Jennie, Dreamcatcher Yoohyeon, Girl's Day Yura, f(x) Krystal, Ive Wonyoung, Iz*one/Soloist Eunbi, SNSD Yuri, Twice Jihyo and Twice Momo (and RV Seulgi but I don't write smuts about her for finding her too cute to lewd).

The light 'tink' of the plate being set down on the poolside table was what drew Jonas's attention. " Oh thank God, my mai-tai finally, " he sighed, raising his sunglasses and turning his head towards the expected drink. It had been a long and very tiresome day. Sometimes at the end of it, you just had to drape yourself over the nearest lounge chair by the pool, kick off your shoes and play tourist for a while by ordering a drink.
But nope. No drink, just a note on the plate. No sign of who left it there either.
" Huh, " he mused, taking it and tearing it open. He read it, squinting a bit as he did so. Ok hm. Sounded like some random Halloween party thing? He'd honestly planned to do nothing more interesting for the holiday than maybe mix up some Zombies and fall asleep watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show. He turned the note over but no info about where it was taking place or what time. Maybe that would come in closer to around Halloween?
He looked at the costume choices with a bit of a frown. Honestly none of them really jumped out at him. Ghoul kind of sounded like it was closer to a Halloween type costume but it also sounded like it would probably involve fake blood and gore to really get the full effect and yeah. Not Jonas's cup of tea. Also how would he even pull off a slime type costume? It sounded equally gross to manage. He looked at the remaining choice which was leviathan. What the fuck even was that?
Jonas sighed and dug around in his shirt pocket pulling out a set of dice. " Alright fine one, two and three, we'll let fate decide. " he said outloud, taking one of the dice and rolling it around his fingers before dropping it on the plate. It took a couple of times, coming up four and six before it finally came up on one.
" Ok guess I get to be a leviathan? Whatever the hell that is. "

Your quote you reposted the other day (yesterday?) about being “famously sexy” keeps going thru my head when looking at how Harry has been marketed or is marketing himself now, not just the whole time, but really specifically the past year or two, where I think we’ve seen a marked increase since the shirtless leather Grammys and WS stuff to focus on that sexiness. And how it’s aligned with his increased popularity. His tour outfits have definitely trended toward a mix of the quirky style we’ve known plus a big push on the shirtless torso looks. We get more “sexy” gp things like the holivia yacht and poolside looks and body content. It’s been interesting to see the evolution from the suits to the pants/shirts to the leaning into that sexy role where there’s kind of the mix of gay innuendo as well as interacting with the daddy threesome sexual crowds. I hope I don’t come across judging. It’s just interesting how it’s all kind of evolved. And the sexy body baring stuff seems to be a newer type angle that is being used by him. Often in his own way and obviously with his own meaning, but it’s a seemingly deliberate choice to use it and use it often. Just musing. Feel free to not post if you don’t want discourse. I’m just chatting. (But also, laugh with me about the blue outfit to potentially go with the stunt. Maybe it’s all a distraction attempt. Remember, can’t be too mad at him if he’s wearing Louis blue! 😂)
No, I don’t think you sound judgmental. I think it’s been a very conscious decision on his part. He’s been sexy and somewhat sexual on stage for a long time—even in the band, although it was a much different atmosphere. But he’s been turning up the dial since the Grammys in 2021.
Personally, I kind of love that he’s taking control of it. People have been writing and discussing and fantasizing about him since he was 16. Maybe he decided he was going to show his sexual energy in the way he wants it to be seen. I think it’s also part of a long term plan to show that he’s not the Harry Styles you might remember.
And yes, he absolutely plays into the het fantasies. But in my opinion, he does it just enough to get away with draping himself in sequins and rainbows and singing songs about giving blow jobs.

Hi JWB! Great blog! And your podcast is really fun too!
I was watching Arnav and Khushi's Roka episode and noticed that the Poolside scene with Arnav saying "Aane Do" was directly taken from a scene in DDLJ! I don't know how I never noticed it for this long.
I was wondering if there were any other scenes like that from the show that were inspired by iconic movies?
Hello Anon!
Thank you so much <3 That's quite an interesting observation! Yes there are quite a few moments of the show that's taken straight from popular cinema (there might be a few moments here that's just popular in general). And to be honest I really can't remember much from the one one mentioned and two below that I mentioned but I SWEAR there were more scenes. I can even imagine my mother going "omg this is just like the film"
So if anyone remembers - please comment below!
Arnav Khushi's Choti Si Duniya
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was a very strong inspiration from Rockstar's moment where Heer tells Jordan that all the outdoor noise is now gone and this is their own world. Over here Khushi muses that she finds the outer world weird and this is her innermost sanctum - her, Arnav and their world.
Khushi's reaction to Arnav's kiss
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If that does not scream K3G to you then what will? The difference here though is that Rahul Anjali share more of a comedy friendship bond and Rahul is being a chill flirt while Arnav is being very very intentional, not quite open with his feelz, and there's just a LOT more history over here. SO this is not a copy more of a similarity that the makers MAY or MAY NOT have taken a look of.
The ‘Tika’ Scene
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thanks to @hi-this-is-permabanned Ok bonus points to IPK for making it look more aesthetic but this was COPY PASTE from the Hindi film Judaai. Essentially the second wife is more proper - shes raised abroad but she has better values and in one of the scenes where she undermines the first one and unintentionally proves herself as a better wife is during the ‘Tika’ scene. Tbh I had no idea what this meant during IPKKND. The swami track is a fever dream to me.
Love,
Jalebi
