gordon freeman and chell would make for such good sibling energy. I know there is no way for them to be siblings cause chell is in the future and she’s the daughter of an aperture scientist (possibly even cave johnson himself) but like imagine. gordon is this scientist who caused a freaking resonance cascade and was forced to pick up a gun and use his theoretical physicist knowledge to work with his environment and chell is the most clever woman making use of the portal gun and physics and they both made some major mistakes
and they would just tease each other like:
“Remember when you accidentally opened a portal to another dimension and released a whole spawn of evil creatures?”
“Remember when you put a core designed to be a moron in control of an entire facility and had to go stop him with the help of a potato?”
“REMEMBER WHEN YOU-”

If, for whatever reason, Chell willingly came back to aperture, Glados would be super happy about it, but she'd pretend she hated it.
Glados would go on about how she wished Chell stayed away but would never try and force her out or hint at an exit. She would conveniently lose the ability to summon a lift to the surface in an update.
She'd do things like give Chell the non-lethal test, or as non-lethal as aperture gets, but she'd go off about how Atlas and P-body are better equipped to do the dangerous test then Chell's fragile human body allows. She would also make comments about Chell's intelligence and how dumb she is.
She'd make Chell the nicest bedroom out of whatever she could fine. She'd also give her whatever human entertainment was still left. Stuff to entertain Chell while she was on her breaks, cause Glados is also giving her breaks now. She would, of course, justify this by talking about how her inferior human mind needs this to be a better test subject.
Chell would also coincidentally find tasty food lying around when she gets hungry. And, after all this time, she finally gets that cake. Glados only makes comments on her weight when she's eating unhealthy.
Glados would show Chell her growing bird army, to brag, of course. Occasionally, she would even let Chell play with them, obviously only to show her how much better they are than humans.
She would talk to Chell even when they weren't testing. She'd say that humans need one hour of conversation a day, but she'd talk to Chell way longer than that. And maybe, sometimes, Chell would feel comfortable talking back.

so i just found out ADHD used to be called “minimal brain damage” and not only is that super hilarious on its own it also makes me think of wheatley saying “you may have a very minor case of serious brain damage” but like while trying to figure out what’s wrong with an ADHD person

I think I mentioned my headcanon about Wheatley’s siblings in the RickRatt post. So, I thought I'd share these while I work on my Pride Month drawing.
All the siblings are characters either from the game, or from the series “Meet the cores” on Youtube by Harry101UK. I own none of these characters.
Small TW: Implied child neglect (nothing too detailed.)
I’ll start off by showing y'all my more recent Wheatley design. This is the one I usually stick to these days
Then right here is the older design, and with him is my human design of Space core.
Headcanon time, yippee :D
So, almost all of Wheatley’s siblings come from different moms, but they all have the same dad. Ray, Clark, and Rose have the same mom because they're triplets. Rick and Wheatley have the same mom, but she died while giving birth to Wheatley
Most of the kids don't have much contact with their moms, as they all grew up with their neglectful fathers. Their mothers were never in positions to care for them entirely or were products of one-night stands, so they usually just ended up in the care of the oldest three brothers.
Rusty, Fergus, and Chuck were in charge growing up. They each worked jobs to help feed the younger siblings, while the middle kids did things for their neighbors to earn extra cash.
For such a chaotic and sometimes rather unfortunate life, they all turned out fine and got jobs at Aperture. Wheatley’s good record at work actually helped most of the siblings get jobs there, even if some of their jobs were rather unimportant in some peoples eyes.
Wheatley was actually rather brilliant before he was turned into a core. He was still very talkative while working at Aperture. He also tended to be a bit clumsy and often made mistakes, sometimes forgetting to do his work because he was too busy yapping at his coworkers. Those little flaws are what I imagine led to his selection for the core experiments.
If you guys want more specific headcanons, I have a TON. I guess this could be considered an Au, so I'd love to share more if you guys have any questions about it. :)
