something very funny but endearing to me in fanon is when people have the androids be usb-compatible. just update their drivers w a usb dongle.
now would usb still exist in 2038? undoubtedly. but we all know that cyberlife would come up with some bullshit proprietary wire for interfacing with their tech.

i'm gonna throw up computers are so complicated bro
#ended up tag rambling dont open this unless u want to read me complaining👎#through a series of events parents got me a new laptop for christmas that i was not expecting#which is appreciated on some level. however. i have heard bad things abt windows 11 so im looking into linux#and its just. there is so much information and i am like a little baby who knows nothing about compsci#and it really doesnt help that i also have very specific hardware wants (2 in 1 laptop that turns into a tablet for drawing)#so everything is more complicated and it sounds like i'd have to download extra stuff for it to even function well#and all my files and games and stuff are currently on windows and i'd have to port it all over#and my main drawing software doesnt even have a linux version#so i'd have to like download a separate program or an emulator if i want even a chance to keep using it#and i do not handle change well and it is making me tired and stressed just thinking about all this#and to top it all off the laptop that they did get me sounds like it might not play the best with linux so i think im gonna exchange it#but that also means i have to figure out what laptop i want to even get before the return window ends on the 14th#and i am just. H#i just want to play my video games and draw.... man.....#moss.txt

every time i look for laptops i get so tired

well of COURSE my microcontrollor had to die on me Right when i wanted to test it with the rest of the project even though it was working perfectly the day before 🤡

#uhhhh me#i am so out of my depth. programming the led lights already took all my brainpower#and now i gotta TROUBLESHOOT??#well i guess this is my own fault for accidentally buying a fake arduino#it was so incompatible with the software and apps i wanted to use and it took so much roundabout work to make it...work#like i had to track down a specific usb port app and then use a super old version of the arduino software#and even then it still wouldn't cooperate with some of the other programs#and now it's just like pooping out#and i can't even be sure if it's the board that's dying or the leds#bc there Was an incident where i plugged it in backwards by accident and something flashed red and i panicked and unplugged it#don't know if that was some kind of warning light#anyway. if there are any techy ppl here.#the power light is on when i plug the board in. but when i plug in the ground wire and 5v wire the light dims so much it's basically gone#if only ONE of those wires is plugged in then it's fine#but the moment the other touches the pin then it dims#and needless to say the leds don't turn on at all#i tried using a different outlet#i tried a different usb port#i haven't tried it on my computer yet#is this where i snap and just purchase an actual arduino for real

i actually think hatori is more of an electrical/hardware engineer than an informatics/information technology/software engineering person
#from the fanbook - he says he has the ability to ''flip switches he isn't supposed to''#in other words - 1s and 0s and currents#off and on#i think at the very granular level that's the mechanics of hatori's power#and i mean this is applicable to computer science and IT - but not that much#the electrical and hardware manipulation is VERY abstracted away into programming languages#and im of the opinion that hatori... doesn't know how to program computers#also when we see him demonstrate his abilities they are either hacking drones and helicopters that are likely programmed in lower-#-level languages and place a larger emphasis on electrical engineering#or hacking radio waves which i mean that's still some sort of off-on thing#the software engineering route of changing ports n permissions n stuff is.. i think not hatori's thing#but who knows... i really like hatori infosec interpretations... its just that i also think in canon he's an electrical engineer type guy#(not shitting on electrical engineers - infact i think they do better stuff than me - the loser infosec guy who can't do physics#to save his life)#my post canon hc for him is that he cleans up and goes to post-secondary school and finally learns the theory behind all of the stuff#-he CAN do#i think he'd unlock a lot of potential that way#but what do i know i am just speculating on the mechanics of psychic powers#milk (normal)#hatori tag#ah this is just me rambling i wanted to get the thought out

#yeah its such a shame theres no like. legal way to get a hold of piko but!#(and i know this is gonna be controversial in the vocaloid community 😬)#but but! i think when it comes to discontinued VBs (piko leon lola etc) i think its fine to do a little 🏴☠️#like its literally lost media theyre not selling those VBs so its not like they can lose a profit at this point#the only issue might be pulling a tora_v4 and porting VBs to other software becos that might create legal trouble for said softwares company#im not an expert on that though so take that with a grain of salt#but yeah i think curating lost media and making it accessible is 👍#and i can hope for a synthv piko at the same time#ask#somethingfishyisgoingon
