Review - Hunter Laing, Journey Series, Islay Journey, Blended Scotch Whisky, (No Age Stated), 46%
I saw the strangest thing.
It was early, a little after 7:00 AM. I was on my way to the office. Barely a quarter mile from my subdivision’s exit, I pulled into the parking lot of our town’s only hardware store to fetch something from the rear of my Wrangler. Item in hand, I mounted the pilot’s seat and prepared to resume my journey. Rolling toward the lot’s exit, I noticed two pedestrians—a man…

okay but the idea of Katakuri just carrying around a small child is both hilarious and adorable
She's so tiny that you probably won't see her if you're a normal person's height lol
Now I'm imagining Sanji walking past them and being like, "Oh, she looks just like my baby :("
Then he freezes and does a double take like wait a damn minute! THAT IS MY BABY!

Lyrics: When the Party's Over - Billie Eilish (Youtube)
Scene from @ml-nolan 's fic Hiding in Plain Sight (explicit)
...I, um. I have no excuse. I'm sorry ' ^';
I hadn't heard this song in a bit and then it fit and then I had to at least make an attempt. This one absolutely has a specific chapter in mind.

The Rolling Stones- Miss You
Top 30 Countdown Song #1: MISS YOU
This is my all time favorite Stones song. This is the first Stones song I can remember hearing. My first Stones album. You never forget your first KInksters.
This is my go-to song when I am alone at night and walking through the big bad city. It helps me get where I’m going while walking past the wicked night crawlers. It turns heads. It makes people step aside. It helps my badassery while I bop around.
Now, This of course was inspired from nights spent at Studio 54. Keith was incarcerated at the time this was bubbling around in MIcks brain. It is solely his creation. The bass line and the Wurlitzer organ courtesy of the one and only Billy Preston.
This was a number 1 song for the Stones and It deserved to be.
Can we discuss how cool and raw the lyrics are...Even the “oooho oooah o oo oo”s” are crazy cool.
Being from New York City I have a special connection to this one.
“Ive been walking central park’. “Singing after dark” “People think I’m crazy.”
I’ve been there my friends. I’m sure you have been too.

"Blood and Tar" by Five Finger Death Punch is the Spirit song of all time (Also "Thanks for Asking" for Warriors)
I think you just made me realize that a modern day Spirit would totally be into metal and screamo music. Like Warriors is over there head banging to Taylor Swift while Spirit is crushing it in the mosh pit.
Anyway-- I think I know exactly what lyric you were look at in "Blood and Tar:"
"Enemy"
That is the tag you gave me
I guess that makes me
Your favorite scar
I guess you take take this to be from either's perspective, but I kinda like the idea of Spirit referring to himself as Warriors's scar. The irony, you know?
And I also forgot to listen to "Thanks for Asking." Which, oooh. I really like the sound of this one. I like how it really builds up from that guitar.
This part here though:
I don't think God is listening
She told us to follow, but left us behind
I've never seen an angel
But I know the devil, and he told me I'm fine
That's Warriors. Hot damn.
