That footage of pouring the dice like that isn't theirs. It's from an old tiktok that was reposted to r/196 a good while ago. I couldn't find the video on the author's profile, but I have it downloaded from when I found it on Reddit.

The context of the dice pouring in the actual skit only makes the ad funnier tbh

See the way I write Raven is she’s someone who rarely gives in to anger, part of it is the training she’s got and the tolerance she built up for things that would piss most people off (ya standard operative/soldier stuff). It’s not that she doesn’t feel the anger though, she does, often in full force, but she’s better at compartmentalized it, shoving it into a box and slamming it into the back of her head where it can’t interfere with her focus.

But the thing about that kind of control is that it doesn’t make the anger go away. It builds and builds, and when the right (or unfortunate) situation or person pushes her too far, that box will break.

It starts small, changes in her body language that is almost hard to describe but not impossible to miss, like her eyes turning sharper and cold. There’s no shouting, no dramatic screaming, just this….heavy, ice-cold intensity that kinda makes you go “ah shit I fucked up”

The next is if she gives a verbal warning, you’re basically 80% fucked. It’s quiet but it’s packed with weight. A few words, just baaaarely restrained, enough to put the fear of God into anyone who was stupid enough to cross her.

When she’s fully snapped, her anger isn’t chaotic, it’s quite the opposite. Somehow it’s precise and sharp, because when she was brooding before she breaks she was already calculating “a few” ways to “deal” with the unfortunate dickhead. She was just waiting for an excuse to do it. She’ll aim for damage, not ending, she’ll make sure they regret everything with whatever pain she inflicted which will carry on for days, depending on how fucked the person is.

yeah, I can picture her spewing that in a way like she’s smacking a mosquito away like a nuisance.

Can’t really blame Price for going bonkers since this is Raven that is well, Raven, and it’s as feral as it is controlled. A primal instinct? To be proud and mesmerized by the sheer display of force that is usually contained. There’s just this glint in her eyes that really makes Price goes “damn that’s my wife” XD

Goodness! Today was exciting! Today I sat with a different DM, a very lovely lady, I played with her last time, and she let me pick a "personality"!

It was a plastic gem-shaped trinket that was used to represent Thomoras on the board, I went with a periwinkle color. I'm planning on collecting a few more of these "personalities".

We went to a fae town in a swamp, tasked to defend the lovely Lady Harvest as she preformed a sacred ritual. Thomoras was head over heels for her! They even bought her a gift, some lovely shoes, and one of my teammates gave him a brooch that can turn into flowers, which Thomoras also offered her. She rejected the shoes, accepted the brooch, and informed Thomoras she's already involved with someone. Why must I always be spurned!

I offered the shoes to the teammate that gave me the brooch. She gladly accepted! They weren't Thomoras' size anyway.

I also got to show off my lovely dice bag today!

The worst part of the day was this one moment where I got a bit excited at something that was happening in the game, the table was staring at me a bit for my reaction. However when I explained I was just excited the DM did something really sweet! I don't wish to go into specifics, but it made me quite happy!

Oh, and at one point a bumblebee fell asleep in my lap!

Last time I was also informed that I was allowed to pick an uncommon item, to which I chose a staff of the python. I named my snake Slitherz the fourth. Don't ask me about his name, it came to me in a dream.

Quite literally. I dreamt I hae the body of a crab, and as I was walking across the beach, a snake walked- slithered, rather, up to me and introduced himself as Slitherz the fourth "with a zed". He was a lovely snake, we had a quick chat about the weather, and when he slithered off he said "Until monday, Thomoras!" and so I knew it must be.

2. What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year?

ooh! the main thing that comes to mind is experimenting with format - Lukas' Guide to a Political Marriage was the first time i tried an unconventional format (inspired by your similar piece, i'm sure you remember!) and i believe it was also the first time i've ever written in second person. Lucky was also something different, since it was my first attempt at nonlinear storytelling. actually, thinking back on it now, i think it's pretty cool that my two most experimental short fics are some of the ones i'm proudest of :)

14. What were your go-to writing songs?

i'm so glad you asked. each of my longfics has a dedicated playlist of songs that remind me of specific character moments, arcs, scenes, or just general vibes. but! that is not my writing music! when i'm actually writing, i love Peter Crowley's Fantasy Dream. it's high-energy fantasy music that always gets me in the right headspace (especially now that i'm mainly writing fire emblem fic, but i honestly use it for everything).

19. Share your favorite piece of dialogue.

okay this one is actually really hard because i pride myself on dialogue; i often write dialogue first and then write the rest of the scene around it. (i also realized while looking for this that a lot of my favorite quips are actually in narration, not dialogue, which is kinda funny.)

in the interest of variety, i'm adding one piece of banter from laid to rest (definitely one of my faves, though i could never pick just one) and one from one of my aspec week pieces that i liked pretty well :D
