Ugh my spotted python bit me today. Hes my first snake and I feel bad he’s getting all my newbie mistakes but he’s done really well with handling and this is the first time I just don’t know what happened? I know they don’t bite out of the blue but I had taken him outside and he was very relaxed in my arms with his head on my shoulder, I stepped off the porch so he could feel some sun and made sure to keep his head in the shade and after a few seconds he moves around to the front of me and just slams my lip. Obviously it’s not bad I’m just so frustrated and feel like every step forward has like three back. And maybe he just doesn’t want to be handled that would be ok but he seems so good and happy to explore most of the time. I have looked into choice based handling but he never wants to wake up and come out of his hides during the day but he always is relaxed once he is out.
Aw, I'm so sorry you got tagged. That sounds like it was really jarring. Please don't be discouraged, though. Snake keeping is a journey, not a destination, and though it may feel like you're not making good progress, every experience is an opportunity to learn and grow with your pet.
Spotted pythons are nocturnal, so he may have been startled by the sudden sunshine and warmth and either mistook you for a predator or a snack. Bites are disheartening (and a bite in the face doubly so!) but it's part of snake ownership. We will all take a chomp at some point.
I once had my leucistic Texas rat snake on my lap while I was reading and I guess he fell asleep at some point, and when I moved my arm I must have startled him awake because he freaked out and tagged me out of nowhere. I was shocked and a bit hurt in the moment, and I totally get how you're feeling. It's nobody's fault. These are animals and sometimes they react to stimuli we think are pretty benign in ways we didn't expect!
If you're going to implement choice-based handing, it'll likely only happen after the sun has gone down. It might be good to try to interact on his terms for a while, as late in the day as you can and in low-light situations. He's less likely to be a butt if he's up and active during the part of his natural rhythm when he's most alert.
I mean, imagine having somebody pull you out of bed at 3am and shine a flashlight with the power of the sun at you. Even if it wasn't right in your eyes, you might be a touch irritable!
I hope that the two of you can find some common ground and that you are able to build more confidence as a keeper. Forgive yourself when you make mistakes, as you so quickly forgave him when he bit you. I know spotted pythons are considered a decent beginner species but I've definitely found them more challenging than some of the other options.
At the end of the day you're just two completely different animals trying to understand each other, and that's pretty cool.

Could you tell me about python programming? It popped into my head soon after I realized I was programmed and it’s been a month and I’m not sure what’s going on anymore. Any explanation would be helpful
Python Programming- Is used to distract the alter by leading to feelings of being crushed, suffocated, or strangled.
Type 2 Python Programming-Belief in divination. (Spiritual Programming)
Type 3 Python Programming-The belief that a part is a “python spirit” and gathers information about believers and uses the information to call other demons to attack people or churches. The function of the “spirit of python” as held by one group may overlap that of other groups, which may be called Leviathan, Kundalini, or “water spirits.” (Spiritual Programming)
Here’s a link to another post on Python.

ooooh glance canvas and day for caden’s white surferboy aesthetic 👀
go whiteboy[gn] go
glance: At first glance, what stands out most about your OC's appearance? What's their distinguishing feature?
hmmm, id say its their eyes! they have green eyes leftover from the void blood, theyre pretty dark though. either that or the scars, they have a lot of little ones from heartbreak. im debating whether or not to make them cover those up though
canvas: Does your OC have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? Do they display or cover them up at all?
as per all steps: yes they do have tattoos. and scars. lots of them. im a bit torn on the piercings, i can see them with no piercings or tongue, earring and nose piercings. so basically either all or none of them lol. the tattoos are a hard yes, the scars im not sure of yet
EDIT: I FORGOT DAY LMFAO
day: What does your OC wear on a normal day? Why do they default to those clothes? Do they wear similar things, or do they change it up?
a grey turtleneck under green flannel and jeans, plus a necklace. they dress rather casual, they like looking good but the prioritize comfort and maneuverability most of all(just in case). as for the necklace: i have no origin story yet, but i suspect it has something to do with ortega lol. they dont mind switching it up!
#caden low#i keep switching between actually doing my uni class work and answering these questions 💀#sorry python but the blorbos are simply more important#thank you for the ask!

Hello hello! sorry for bothering you (•́ ‿ ,•̀)
But can i ask something, what does your cod ocs think/thought about my oc(Liutenant Doberman)
And anyways LOVE YOUR WORK
❤️❤️(´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`)❤️❤️
Aww, thank you for the kind words!
Stone, Python, and Death are paranoid at first, as they always are. However, they all really value loyalty and honesty. Stone and Death hate lying in particular, so to know that Doberman is loyal, that helps soothe their paranoia towards him.
Kali, Sarabi, and Heartthrob like calm people, it's their bread and butter. And Doberman's intimidating demeanor won't turn them away, they've endeared themselves to Stone after all. They see a refreshing challenge.
Nala is of course skeptical once Doberman and Simba start interacting together, Nala always so protective over his best friend. But he sees how well Doberman acts with Simba, so he eventually just thinks Doberman's okay. That's the best you can get when it comes to his protectiveness over Simba.
Simba likes how intelligent Doberman is, because of course he does. Simba is intelligent himself, so even if their intelligence isn't the same (Simba is a self-proclaimed math prodigy), he'll still enjoy being around Doberman.
Ladder thinks Doberman's cool and she admires how well he can adapt to changes. She's seen plenty of soldiers act childish when it comes to her implementing new technology, so this will be a breath of fresh air. Besides, no one can resist her when she's so warm and bubbly. (Just watch out, because she can surely pack a punch despite her height and bubbly demeanor.)
Cerberus is definitely wary, also due to his paranoia. But he sees how well Sarabi took to Doberman, so he's quicker than the others to accept Doberman. But he is rather reserved and he'd definitely be very intimidated by Doberman. It'll be fine though, he's usually like this.
Hellstorm, in true Hellstorm fashion, acts indifferent to Doberman at first. He's not one to get attached to people, so he just doesn't interact with Doberman for the majority of the time. But if Doberman can keep him in the same room, Hellstorm may warm up to him.

real ones unroll appimages and then build only the actual program themselves
one thing that gets me on certain open source projects is when they think the only reason someone might be building from source is because they want to contribute. how have you gotten this far into running open source projects without meeting this type of linux user?
like there was one python utility i wanted to build from source cuz the version in the debian repo didn't have some features i wanted but the instructions heavily assumed you like, are used to python dev environments, but python induces a certain type of rage in me if I have to actually write any code in it for very long so i am. not. like why do i gotta learn things about python, write a better readme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#for people who have not seen me talk coding the reason i hate python this much is because i am insane#hope this answers any questions

Unpopular opinion, but haters (of texts! not performers or creators) actually fulfill an important role in the fandom ecosystem. They're the headsmen of medieval villages. Shunned, understandably but hypocritically, by society (really, headsmen usually lived outside of the walls, the job was passed within the family because no one would willingly take it, and the only shot at marriage were sentenced criminals) but every now and then called up to perform the dirty job no one else would while the crowd pours out all of their darkest instincts at the person about to die so they can feel the social structure reinforced and go back to their lives in blissful hypocrisy while the headsman goes back to running a brothel.
Of course, in a medieval society the enlightened me would be a plucky townsgirl posing as a boy so she can join the university and above such vulgar crowdthink. So it stands to reason watching a man scream and curse about an episode I believe deserves more criticism genuinely lightened the pressure on my chest and I can now go back to enjoying the stuff I like.
It's possible no one will ever tell you that, haters, but so long as your rants are about the text not the people and you tag them appropriately - you are recognised.
#there often pops up this question: why would you waste your time on something you hate instead of spending it on sth you love#and the answer is: because anger (anger. as in emotion. not hate as an actively sustained attitude) is also something people feel#and sometimes need to let it out which again is previsely what art is for#(i guess there's also sports but.)#and also when a text is long enough there will be things you both love and hate#yes the hour and a half rant was about the doctor falls so i don't have to rant#i wish there was more ranting about potd but i guess moffat era could still raise emotions if negative#shit up roxanne you've said your part#i'm starting to understand monty python's argument services

What was the last movie you watched, which blorbo would you want to hang out with for a day, what is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Good morning/good afternoon/good night!
1.) Last film I technically watched: Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead ('91), but if we count "skipping around looking for scenes with one specific actor" as "watching" then it would be Lovelife ('97).
2.) I was gonna put some actual deliberation into this, but I mean- I'd still go with the same person, and that would absolutely be Dan Rydell. He runs on a very specific wave of chaos and cultural appreciation, and I just know we would vibe. I'd appreciate your New York Renaissance, dude. I'd help you antagonize people, too. <3
3.) Well that depends on what you mean. Are we talking about an African or European swallow?
Thanks for the asks, luv!
