Some more facts on my RWBY Next Gen Oc’s

As it says these are some next gen facts on my babies. Please note that some characters may have more facts then others because I took the time to put more development into some then I did with others. First of all lets get to my favorite babies of my next Gen. Mai, Yin and Shion ----------------------------------------------

Yin/Mai/Shion facts: 

- Yin and Mai actually gain a nickname before their scars one that doesn’t entirely go away even after. They we’re known as the Grimm Twins. Mostly due to their blood red eyes and their tendency to get into fights with anyone who had anything negative to say to them would get a more or less aggressive reaction. 

- Shion tends to use the world of books to get away from her own inner demons as well as the bullies that tend to mock her. It doesn’t always work and sometimes she even forgets how much time goes by, if not for her mother she’d probably even forget to eat and sleep too.

- Yin is what you’d call a horrible flirt, she isn’t afraid to go too far if she thinks she has a chance. It’s both a good and bad flaw with her because to her no means try harder however she has been slapped more times then she cares to admit.

- Mai is secretly a hopeless romantic at heart but tries to put on a rather tough bravado to cover it up. She often thinks of her own personal happy ending and part of her tends to get depressed over it thinking it will never happen. 

- As I stated with Shion’s facts, she is born with two faunus traits. Her ears and her claws. While her ears have never been much of an issue, she finds her claws however to be a constant nuisance. She often finds herself clawing at the couch on accident or digging them into her books when she finds herself too deep into a novel. She has clipped them but they grow back faster then she cares to admit.

- Bullies aren’t the only ones with nicknames for the faunus twins. Their grandparents for example have nicknames for Mai and Yin as well. Grandpa Tai has a habit of calling Mai Dandelion when she was little, while he sometimes calls Yin his his Little Shadow. Grandpa Ghira and Grandma Kali tend to call Mai Firefly and Yin Blackout which Yang tends to joke about often.

- Shion wasn’t ever fond of nicknames, while she does have a few such as Snow or Angel none of which she ever grew fond of. To her nicknames just seemed more like insults maybe because her and her sisters we’re use to being called certain names as insults it was something she couldn't really shake off after that. But she lets it slide most of the time with her parents or grandparents.

- Mai and Yin are often Shion’s bodyguards. From the moment she went to school with them, she was an easy target for bullies she stood out far too much which often led them to put ideas into her head but Mai and Yin we’re always there to protect their baby sister from harm even if it meant they had to break a few bones to do it. This often led them into more trouble though.

- Yin and Mai, seem to get along for the most part and to their own accord they can be really close but they have such similar personalities they often clash and fight one another as a way to prove themselves. It can sometimes become a bit much for everyone around them.

- In current time lines or AU’s Mai, Yin and Shion all injure/kill at some point in their life all for different reasons. For Mai it was a last minute decision to protect her family and herself. For Yin it was out of spite/vengeance and for Shion it was an accident. Luckily for Shion she only wounded someone.

- Mai, Yin and Shion all have some kind of mental quirk/disorder. Mai suffers from PTSD Yin is bipolar and Shion has social anxiety and hemophobia. (Which for some who don’t know is an extreme fear of blood.)

- Mai’s PTSD does not come into play until after she gets her scar. She gets it while in a life threatening fight with another much stronger faunus, Yin loses a part of her ear in the process and Mai earned a scar across her face. During this fight Mai accidentally ends up killing her opponent. While she does not seem phased at first as time goes she starts to show signs of it, one of many that Yang can recognize. Mai is fifteenth when it happens. 

- Yin’s condition isn’t really acknowledged until the start of her teenage years, when she hit the age of thirteen is when it started to rear it’s ugly head and Yin would often find herself blowing up at her sisters or parents for absolutely no reason then moments later blowing it off like it never happened. 

- Shion’s disorder shows up much earlier, At school no less. During a time where her sisters weren’t around a bully decided to get too close and invaded Shion’s personal space, while she starts to panic no one really stops to help and in a flash she ends up clawing the person’s face leaving rather deep gashes and drawing blood. While it does scare them away it ends ups scaring Shion too an the blood on her claws/hands does not ease her and set her into a full blown panic attack one not even her sisters could ease her out of. Shion is only nine when it happens.

- Mai is an adrenaline junkie, she loves the rush and feeling her body go past it’s limit even if it can over exert her to the point of passing out she’s usually raring to go within the next hour or so. 

- They each have a role in their family. Mai being the bravest and the strongest out of the three. Yin being the fiercest and fastest and Shion is the smartest and the most stealthy.

Keira and Leon Arc Facts:

- Keira tends to over exert herself. Pushes herself to limits she knows isn’t healthy. She does it because she feels like she has a lot to live up too and doesn’t want to let anyone down. 

- Leon is as I stated a timid boy, one who is easily frightened by just about anything. Yet he wishes he could be braver despite his timid nature he often puts himself into somewhat risky situations to try and overcome them. Doesn’t work a good ninety percent of the time. 

- Keira and Leon do eventually spend a good year possibly two in mistral to become more connected with their culture. Keira fits in pretty well, Leon has a harder time.

- Leon often tries to force himself into uncomfortable situations to try and become better and handling them still doesn’t work. Keira does her best to help but tends to pull him out of it when it becomes too much.

- Keira also picked up the rather odd habit of constantly apologizing for the tiniest of things.

- While Keira isn’t entirely fond of nicknames she doesn’t seem to mind her parents calling her their little Arc Angel. Mai calls her it from time to time too but doesn’t get away with it nearly as much. However she’s often found calling Keira a little warrior princess which apparently doesn’t sit well with her either.

- Keira much like Mai is a bit of a hopeless romantic herself only unlike her she doesn’t mind admitting to it. She’s pretty open with most of her feelings and is a bit of an open book for most people.

- Keira isn’t a fan of spoilers, by that I mean if she’s into a book, series or movie and someone spoils it for her she tends to go rather quiet but the anger is forever present.

- Leon is often dragged on “adventures” by Briar and the two tend to end up in some rather dangerous situations while he does complain frequently about them he doesn’t exactly like the idea of her going by herself and he knows she would.

Crystal and Briar Rose Facts:

- Crystal is an over achiever, she believes hard work is the key to getting anywhere in life. She tends to push herself as well to a point where she can’t go any further and while it worries her parents she tends to brush it off.

- While she isn’t pushed into it, Crystal does want to take over her mother’s company. She is given plenty of things to do and plenty of opportunities to do something else but she remains adamant on taking over the family business. 

- Briar is a lot like Ruby, she constantly has a habit of wandering off and tries to go on all sorts of adventures even if she can barely get past her own home without being stopped by security. She complains that it ruins her sense of freedom and constantly tries to talk her parents into giving her more space to roam. Though cookies tend to quiet her quickly.

- Crystal also has a bit of a sweet tooth it’s something she isn’t proud of but it’s something her family takes advantage of to stop her from working too hard and make her take breaks in exchange for a treat which she begrudgingly does end up agreeing too.

- While Briar is more of the hyperactive child in the family she does have her moments when she becomes a bit sad. While it does annoy her sister she tends to do her best to take time out of her day to try and cheer her up. When being confronted about it she would make up an excuse about how her moping was affecting how she worked.

- Crystal tries to keep herself as closed off to feelings as much as possible thinking it makes her come off as weak. However it doesn’t mean she doesn’t let them out from time to time what little time she has to herself she vents it out in a journal. Which Briar tries to take all the time.

- Briar has her parents pretty much wrapped around her finger, with a pout that can rival Ruby’s she tends to take advantage of it and us it at any opportunity she’s given. While Ruby is somewhat immune to it Weiss has a harder time saying no.

- In my Next Gen Crystal and Briar get a dog, it starts off as a pretty small ball of fluff that ultimately becomes a massive beast as they get older. Birar enjoys riding him around the house and outside too. He tends to make a perfect guard dog when they’re out. Looks like a raging beast to others but is a big puppy with the Rose family. 

- Briar and Crystal are quite capable of singing and while Briar enjoys it Crystal prefers not to waste her voice on unneeded matters but she does make a small acception when her little sister is sick and surprisingly it happens often when she has too many sweets.

Lillie and Lotus Ren Facts:

- From the moment of birth, Lillie and Lotus we’re always together. The two rarely very rarely ever separate from each other. Unless with their parents that is this is the only time you ever see them split is when Lillie is with her mother and Lotus is with her father or vice versa.

- Lillie likes Waffles better then pancakes, to this day she’s never told her mom. She’s scared it would crush her. 

- Lotus spends a lot of her time meditating with Ren, to keep herself centered, with a sister like Lillie it’s constantly needed. 

- When the two do separate Lillie is almost always with Nora and Lotus is almost always with Ren. Not to say that they don’t like to hang out with the other they just prefer to be within their comfort zone.

- Lillie and Lotus have also passed on the whole “Boop” tradition. It is their own way of telling the other they love each other without actually saying it and they do it to there parents as well. ( I do plan on getting some art of that done.. hopefully.)

- Lillie suffers from Schizophrenia, Lotus sometimes wonders if it’s their semblance that makes her suffer from it and secretly does blame herself meanwhile it’s no fault of her own it was just something Lillie was born with. Lotus does keep her centered though she is her emotional crutch as it we’re. ( This wasn’t something I had planned for her but I’ve often seen some AU stories where Nora does suffer from it so I wanted to contribute it with Lillie for some reason I’m a sucker for seeing my characters suffer)

- Lotus sometimes experiences headaches, sharing a semblance with her sister can often become exhausting on her body while Lillie doesn’t experience this it is assumed that Lillie has a lot more energy then her sister does and often uses that energy where Lotus doesn’t use as much energy thus it has no outlet so it becomes equivalent to that of pain. 

- Lotus and Lillie are as mentioned total opposites. A good example of this is Lillie is a constant talker where Lotus barely speaks unless her parents or friends speak to her. She rarely talks at home with Lillie she tends to use her semblance it is far more functional and suitable as well as gets rid of more energy but it’s also more or less a time saver for her.

okay but like-

older omega reader already having children from a past relationship (their past mate cheated on him and left him that's why he's aprehensive about alphas). all his kids are grown and resemble reader very closely (like someone hit ctrl+C and then edited them slightly to the left in photoshop) and are also built like reader, same height or maybe even taller and have inherited readers death stare except it's x100. all readers kids work physically demanding jobs (hard labor, firefighter, warehouse work, maybe working on a ship) so they're all powerhouses and all turned out to be alphas and ridiculously protective of their "mother" (ik reader is male but in the omegaverse the omega is the birth giver and reader lets his sons call him mom or mama). when they first meet Kali they're immediately distrustful and staring at him with laser eyes like: "mom, who's this?". (think dad Stone with troublemaker reader). readers sons will not let reader and Kali be alone when they're visiting just.... existing in Kalis and readers general vicinity waiting for Kali to so much as breathe wrong at reader so they can snap him in half. they get all pouty and grumbly when they see that reader is genuinely appreciative of Kali and is showing interest so with time they back off but still keep an eye out "just in case"

Alpha!Kali would love omega!Reader's kids. They're his pups now, he doesn't care that they're grown. He's doing everything he can to get in their good graces. He wants to take care of them as much he wants to take care of Reader.

He's not threatened by so many alphas around him, he works with one alpha, so no need for all of these alphas to clash.

Hopefully Kali can get them to like him though, cause he really wants their "mother" to be his mate. He swears he's a good step-father.

Thinking about my Canine Handler! Stone x aggressive Dog Hybrid! Reader and I raise you (or myself, I guess) Canine Handler! Kali with aggressive Dog Hybrid! Reader. 🫧

Same concept, Kali is Reader’s last chance because he tore his last handler apart (the handler kinda deserved it though, he wasn’t very nice). Kali looking at his collection of feral children and thinking “eh, what’s one more?”

Reader immediately lunging at Kali and only being stopped by the fact that the too-tight collar is attached to a heavy metal post or the wall or something - if a person was holding it, they would have been dragged along. Kali being immediately angry but not at Reader, instead at the conditions they’re keeping him in.

Kali somehow calming down Reader enough that he can give him skritches behind the ear, Reader is confused because instead of lashing out at him for trying to kill him he’s just like “shh, it’s okay, Daddy’s here” while glaring down whoever is in charge of Reader right now because it’s pissing it down freezing rain and they have him tied to a post outside.

Canine Handler!Kali is so Daddy. He immediately unties you from the post and gets you inside, very carefully approaching you with slow movements when he needs to towel you off due to you being out in the rain. He's not scared you'll lash out at him, he just doesn't want to scare you.

His words are soft when he speaks to you, a stark contrast to the way his words are so clipped with whoever had tied you to the post. He's giving your scratches behind your ears, cooing at you.

Kali is so pissed when he finds out you haven't been fed your dinner yet, so he goes and gives you food, his heart breaking at the way you eat it so fast because your previous handlers took away your food when you were "bad". Don't you worry, Daddy Kali won't do that to you, he'll prove it to you too.

alpha Kali with omega reader who is just.... massive. like mfer is like 7'3 built like a tank and a brick had a baby and put that baby through the gulag mixed with spartan training. reader is from another squad which are all alphas but reader aint no pushover, he's high rank (maybe a captain or colonel) and all his team mates respect him because they know that reader can toss them like sallads all different ways to sunday. reader is older and experienced and calm, sporting a neutral, bored and disinterested look on his face. mates and pups aren't really on readers agenda (man does NOT want to get preggy) he's here to do his job, protect his team and get paid.... and if he ends up grabbing a coffee with Kali that's just a slight deviation from the base plan

Alpha!Kali with a high ranking!omega!Reader gives me life. Like he already gives omegas the same respect as he does other alphas, but you've definitely earned your respect and your rank.

Kali loves the fact that you're here to do your job, he admires that work ethic. Admires the way that you can garner respect from your alpha teammates. He follows you around with the intention of learning more about you, learning how you work.

He's a bit sad that you don't want a mate, his alpha instincts wanting to make you his omega, but he respects your decision. He adores how you're taller and older than him, how you have more experience.

And if there's one thing about Kali, it's that he's trying his best to make you smile. Your neutral, bored look is hot, don't get him wrong, but he wants to make you melt. Wants to show you that despite how much of a goofball he is, he's a good alpha.

He froths at the mouth when you decide to grab a coffee with him, delighted at the chance to woo you. Don't look now, but he's tripping over his feet after you like a lovesick puppy.

more older omega reader and alpha Kali

reader is finally wooed enough to let Kali into his nest. the nest is big since reader is big but.... it's rather threadbare because reader was raised in a strict household where he wasn't allowed "luxuries" so he was used to having a blanket and two pillows for a "nest". reader invites Kali to lay/sit down and they just chill together until reader falls asleep on accident (reader purrs while sleeping if the sleep is good and the purrs are so deep just like his laugh)

Considering that Omega!Stone also has a rather bare nest due to how he grew up, I'm not saying that Kali has a type.... but if the shoe fits... Anyways, that's not what we're here to talk about.

Kali would be pleasantly surprised that you allowed him into your nest. He is shocked at how you only have a blanket and two pillows for your nest, but he doesn't say anything because he doesn't want you think he's judging you. You fall asleep as you two lay next together, side by side with your head resting on his chest.

His alpha instincts relax at having you close to him, hearing your deep purrs. He wants to keep you like this forever, make sure you're taken care of.

He'd subtly introduce more comfort into your nest, giving you more pillows and blankets slowly but surely. You're his omega in everything except officially, and his alpha instincts are telling him his omega needs a more cozy nest.

Kali x older omega reader — their first date, or sort of. I think they just went out someday and for Kali, that was undoubtedly a date. The tall, buff, man with that cold stare and intimidating stature, all awkward around the young alpha. It had been so long since he had last a date. Maybe when he had just presented back in school. Perhaps he never even had one. His already limited words are reduced to some mere “yes” and “no”, and Kali swears he even saw the mature omega blush, even if slightly! And don’t think the alpha didn’t miss the older one fidgeting slightly, or the omega’s big hands even playing with each other while he stares down at them.

Just a thought, really.

Kali would melt at the older omega!Reader being so shy on their date.

He's patient, his brown eyes so full of love as he listens to your one-word answers. He doesn't make you have eye-contact with him, letting you stare down at your hands. He goes wherever you want, does whatever you want.

You want to go to a café and get coffee or tea? Kali's gently guiding you inside the café, being such a gentleman as he opens the door for you and pulls out your chair.

You want to go to a park and enjoy nature? Kali sits next to you on the bench and lets you distract yourself from your awkwardness by looking everywhere except him.

There's a hot dog stand or an ice cream cart in the park and you want one? Let Kali pay for it, beloved, he doesn't mind.

He's just happy you're letting him court you, letting him take you out on a date. He feels so lucky.

now imagine. reader in all his strict and no nonsense glory.......likes corny dad jokes and slapstick comedy, the type to laugh at someone slipping in a silly way.

so he and Kali are walking around together, discussing some plans or whatever and Kali, too busy being lovestruck, trips over his own feet and goes sprawling on the ground and then he hears it. the deepest, most baritone laugh known to man and it's coming from reader who's chuckling and laughing it up while he helps Kali up with a smile on his face, accentuating his crows feet and dimples.

Kali can die happy now ig

Kali usually prided himself on not being clumsy, he had outgrown that even if he was still a goofball. Omegas and alphas looked at him in awe when they saw how good his reflexes were, how he usually could catch something before it could fall—even if it was himself.

But then you, the taller and older omega, came into the picture. And it was like he was a pup again, so in awe of you that he forgot how to properly function without being clumsy.

He was just looking at you as you two walked, you talking about the upcoming mission your team and The Lions were doing soon. His eyes were shamelessly on your lips, watching them move as you spoke.

And he was so deep in focus about your lips that he tripped over his feet when he realized your long legs were taking you away from him as he had briefly stopped for a moment to stare at your lips.

The trip caused him to fall head-first, his face luckily being cushioned by his hard-plated half-black-half-blue mask. Kali grunted as he was sprawled out onto the tiled floors of the Shadow Company base. He was feeling embarrassed until he heard it; your laugh.

It was a deep baritone laugh, deeper than even Sarabi's laugh. Your timbre vibrations sent shivers down his spine, Kali wondering if he was in heaven for a moment.

He looked up at you, his lips parted beneath his mask and neck gaiter. You looked so ethereal, laughing at his sprawled form. The crow's feet beneath your eyes were accentuated and your dimples were showing from the smile on your face.

Kali swore in that moment that he'd always have you laugh like that. Even if it meant embarrassing himself more often.

Light Footsteps

*A group of Shadows huddled in a corner in the hallway, talking to each other* Shadow 1: Yeah, so he shot me and I was like, "What the hell?" Because he was only supposed to shoot me in the calf, not the thigh! Shadow 2: I still think it's weird that you thought being shot in the leg in order to get sent to the infirmary was a good way to woo the medic that you like. Shadow 3: Yeah, me too. Wouldn't it have been eas— Kali, having walked up without anyone realizing because his footsteps weren't heard: Hey, guys! What are we talking about? Several Shadows bolting away at once because they had just been snuck upon: Fuck! Kali, staring at where most of them were but are now gone with the exception of Shadow 2: What just happened? Shadow 2: *realizes she has to be the one to tell Kali* Well, dude, you walk really light. Like, super light. Kali, confused: What do you mean? Shadow 2: We can't hear your footsteps, like you really are The Phantom of the Opera. We didn't hear you approach, at all. Kali: *remembers all the times his old squad joked about getting him a collar with a bell like the ones for cats and how he thought they were all exaggerating* Kali: Oh.

maybe some heat headcanons (nothing ecplicit, a little suggestive if you can but if not just fluff then) i want to see Kali helping reader build a more abundant nest because reader grew up with less than the bare minimum

Fluffy headcanons about Alpha!Kali helping Older Omega!Reader with his heat! This is kinda short, whoops.

Kali 100% tries his best to subtly ease you into having a more abundant nest. Though you definitely catch on because for a man who has light feet, he's terrible at ensuring you don't see him placing more blankets and pillows when you already placed the bare minimum in the nest you built.

He is your personal heater and he'll stay with you in the nest for hours, only getting up to get you food and water. You drift off to sleep because of how warm he is.

You don't even have to ask him to scent you, Kali will happily do it. He's through with scenting you too, not letting a single inch of you be not covered in his scent.

Now this is a little suggestive, but he would let you "use" him to get through your heat if that's what you wanted. Is it really using him if he's willing subjecting himself to your desires? (It's the only time he'll truly relinquish control.)

If you don't want to act on your desires, that's fine too. He's happy to cuddle you. He'll cuddle you in any and every position you want him to cuddle you.

If you're up for it, Kali will talk to you and talk about anything. He'll keep your mind off your heat and focused on just being in the moment with him.

Kali helps you disassemble your nest when your heat is done. He's a gentleman like that. He puts every blanket and pillow in the dryer and then showers you with kisses because you deserve kisses for enduring the heat.

Okay, so for Ladder, this is just a life partner, since she's aromantic. Also, we'll just put you in the place of Nala's wife (not saying that this is female reader, we'll just change him to have a gender-neutral spouse).

Ghost- He's surprised but he does a lot of research about age regression and he talks in depth with you when you're not regressed about how he should go about taking care of you. It's a lot of new information for him, but if it makes you feel better, he'll deal with it. He learns about all of your favorite cartoons and your favorite stuffies. He understands regressing because it's due to trauma and he understands needing certain coping mechanisms.

Soap- He also does a lot of research and he's very much okay with you being an age regressor. He goes out and buys you a ton of stuffies if he feels like your stash of stuffed animals is lacking. He is very patient with you and just overall doesn't judge you.

Gaz- I'm a firm believer that Gaz only wants you to be happy and healthy, so he just accepts it. He talks to you about what he should expect when you're regressed. He's very heavy on being prepared. He cleans an entire room in his flat for where your stuffed animals should go, so there's a safe place for when you're regressed.

Price- You can't tell me that Price hasn't had partners who were age regressors before. He doesn't even blink an eye to you telling him about it. He asks you what age you regress to, asks what type of clothes you wear when regressed. He sets up an entire playroom full of child-safe toys for when you're regressed, buys a ton of children coloring books.

Stone- I'll be honest, you'd have to tell him what age regression is. He doesn't understand it really, because why would your mind want to revert back to being a kid? It's his own childhood trauma talking, but once you explain it, he accepts it and doesn't judge. He's very much confused on how he should be when you do regress, but he's trying his best.

Kali- I also believe Kali has had partners who were age regressors before, the man is the type to not judge. He very much goes through the same process Price does, asking you what your preferences are when regressed. He buys you a ton of onesies even if he doesn't have much of anything else you may need so that you're comfortable the first time you regress around him.

Sarabi- He too is confused about age regression, but he quickly understands it. He does a ton of research and asks you all sorts of questions. It's the most you've ever heard him speak before and he doesn't seem to shut up with the questions. He wants to know everything so he can best help you. After it all, he tells you that he just wants you to be happy.

Simba- Man doesn't know what he's doing, but he's trying. It's a lot of trial and error about what he's supposed to do when you regress, as he just goes off based on the research he does when you tell him. His heart is in it, so you can't really complain.

Nala- He's okay with it, has a rather neutral view on it. He doesn't care that you're an age regressor. And he already has stuffed animals and coloring books because of his daughters. It's just like taking care of his daughters. (Don't ask me why Simba isn't the same way despite having a son.)

Ladder- She does immaculate research on the topic, absolutely needing to do everything she can to best help you when regressed. She asks you about every little preference you can have and she's able to buy everything you need fairly quickly.

Heartthrob- He is shocked, so shocked to his core. It's because he mixed up ageplay with age regression, but he'll accept it once you correct him. He still kind of doesn't understand it, but he tries his best to be supportive. He baby-proofs his house again, every single room. He might've overdone it all.

Hellstorm- Is he supposed to care? He's more confused on why you thought he would take the revelation badly. I mean, you're dating him and he lowkey is apathetic to most things. That's not to say he won't support you, he just won't have much of a reaction to the news. Ironically, I see him baby-proofing his apartment like Heartthrob baby-proofs his house. It doesn't even matter if you don't regress to a very young age, his apartment is being baby-proofed.

Gaz teaches Creative Photograph 1 (which is just using cameras with film), Soap teaches 2D Studio Art 1 & 2 (so basic studio & advanced studio art), Price teaches World History, Stone teaches U.S. History, Kali teaches Chorus, Ladder teaches IT Systems and Applications, Sarabi teaches AP English Literature and Composition, Nala teaches Personal Fitness, Simba teaches Pre-Calculus, Heartthrob teaches Nutrition & Wellness, and my newest OC teaches Environmental Science.

I don't mind if Ghost teaches the same subject as someone else because there's different classes within each subject that can be for different grades (hence why Price and Stone are both teaching history classes). I just need a subject.

I like to think that Kali is the more dominant one in this polycule, simply because it's so Kali to just take the lead. He asks you what you want for dinner, giving you a choice between two options, and you just melt at the authority that man wields. Sure, you're a vampire king, but it's Kali. He's gentle, but he's stern. He gets his way but he doesn't neglect your own needs.

Stone is such a people pleaser. Okay yes, he won't let you drink from him, but he'll fret over you. Let him give you blood bags from the base hospital so you don't accidentally run out of your own supply. He follows your lead.

The polycule is nice in that respect, you can be led or you can be followed. All that matters is which one you seek out for that specific need.

So I thought I'd make a fun little post about all of the original thoughts about my OCs when I created them that aren't part of their character/background now.

Y'all already know I contemplated having Stone being 6'8" & Kali at 6'6". (Someone tell me not to change their heights around, because I'm really seriously contemplating it and you know I don't have much restraint.)

Sarabi was originally single when he first appeared in my mind, but I just had him married to Kevin when writing "Survivor's Guilt/Blood-stained Hands" because I had originally thought I wasn't going to make the rest of The Lions actual OCs.

Simba was originally going to be younger than Nala, hence why I sometimes write him as a little more childish (I guess is the right term) than how Nala acts.

Ladder came to creation when I was daydreaming about 6'8" Stone and so she was originally going to be 4'8", which is the minimum height for women in the Navy. It was supposed to her and Stone being the on opposite sides of the height range for soldiers in the Navy and I probably would've kept her at 4'8" if Stone had been 6'8" at the time.

Heartthrob was actually originally a Sergeant (don't know if anyone remembers me talking about The Tigers originally) and he was originally two years younger than Sarabi, Kali, & Stone. I changed it because I really do see Stone as someone for goes for his age or older and not anyone younger (even if there's only a two-year difference).

I contemplated making Hellstorm a base librarian. I had no idea what the hell his job in the military was going to be until I made the character introduction post for the High School Teacher AU (I still haven't finished the first part of that AU, RIP) and wrote him being a retired naval aviator (they're all retired soldiers in that AU).

Cerberus was originally going to Manish Joshi-Kaur (Stone's half-brother) and it was going to be like "Oh everyone thought he was deceased, but he was actually held in captivity and just presumed to be dead." But I changed it because with the way the timeline matched up with when all of Stone's half-siblings were born, Manish would've been the same age as Ladder & Cerberus was originally used to be eventually romantically with Simba.

This made me realize that I still have yet to post Cerberus' basic info post and so y'all don't even know he's the same age as Simba or that Cerberus isn't Manish Joshi-Kaur, but whatever. I'm holding onto that post until Sarabi's birthday post that's coming in two days.

High School Teacher AU

So the results from this poll was to do the AU with both my OCs & the 141, but I want to clarify that while I might do Teacher!141 x Reader if asked, this AU is mainly a Kali x Stone AU. The 141 aren't really the main focus (though that's not to say they'll only appear rarely).

Anyways, I wanted to first to an introduction of all of the characters (because I finally named my newest OC). We're going to talk about what class they're teaching, a little bit about them in this AU.

We're going to do this by grades (because some of them are teaching the same subject ((ie history)) but they're different classes). It's important to note that this is a U.S. high school, not a British/UK one. Also, some of them still have their callsigns because those callsigns could easily be written as a nickname they got from students.

Okay now onto the cast:

Peter Williams, Personal Fitness (Grade 9)- Coach Williams is well-loved by the students and is a former Marine. He's not very strict, very much lenient, hence why the freshmen love him. He has a knife scar that goes through his left eyebrow and all the way through his left eye (but didn't blind him). He is known for gushing about his wife and daughters (though some students and faculty believe that Mr. Greene is actually his "wife").

Arun "Hellstorm" Khatri, Environmental Science (Grade 9)- Mr. Kahtri is a former Naval pilot and is known as "Hellstorm" because he once "rained hell" down on a teacher who humiliated a student by making them stand outside the classroom with a sign detailing how they misbehaved. That being said, he is known for looking like he's perpetually bored due to his face usually being neutral and his voice monotone.

Kyle Garrick, Creative Photography 1 (Grades 9-12)- Mr. Garrick is a former SAS soldier who moved from the UK to teach kids how to get into photography. He teaches Creative Photography 1 only because he primarily works with film instead of digital cameras. Students often gush about how he makes them love photography and how his tips help them become better photographers.

John MacTavish, 2D Studio Art 1 & 2 (Grades 9-12)- Mr. MacTavish is a former SAS soldier and he moved from the UK to help American kids either start their artistic career or better improve their artistic skills. He's very out-going and he's a hit amongst the students. Don't tell the administrative faculty, but he often puts on movies for the kids on slow days.

Fariz "Heartthrob" Shah, Nutrition & Wellness (Grades 9-12)- Mr. Shah is a former Marine and he got his nickname due to being very charismatic. He is said to make all of the faculty swoon and even some students (though he stays away from students, even if they're eighteen). He teaches his students the joys of cooking.

Ashok Kumar, Chorus 1, 2, & 3 (Grades 9-12)- Mr. Kumar is a former Marine and he is extremely tall at 6'8". He walks a fine line of being demanding in terms of choir performance while also having days where his classes are just watching movies to relax. He and his senior chorus class go to Disney every year to perform. His choirs have won more trophies than the football team.

John Price, World History (Grade 10)- Mr. Price is a former SAS soldier and he moved to America as a favor to the principal of the high school whom he had fought alongside with. He is considered to be a rather fair teacher, stern but not too strict. He's vying to be the favorite history teacher among the tenth graders, often clashing with Stone/Mr. Mishra who also teaches tenth graders.

Vasanti Singh, IT Systems and Applications (Grade 10)- Ms. Singh is a former information systems technical and she took this teaching job simply because it was easy enough to let her mind rest. She's known to goof around, being a hit among the students and the other faculty members. Most students take her class because they think it'll be easy, oh how wrong they are.

Simon "Ghost" Riley, Weight Training 1, 2, & 3 (Grades 10-12)- Coach Riley is a former SAS soldier and he is known for being a hard-ass. He's really strict and has made kids cry, but he was the best out of all of the potential candidates so he got hired. His nickname is due to him being able to just disappear without anyone noticing. He lowkey has animosity towards Coach Williams because he doesn't understand why Coach Williams is so easygoing with the students. He pushes his students to be the best they can be. He has declined offers to become the new football coach, despite his leadership potentially being the key to improve the football team.

Nathan Greene, AP Pre-Calculus (Grades 10-12)- Dr. Greene is a former Marine and he has a PHD in mathematics. He could be teaching at a college and be a professor, but he loves to help improve younger students' love for mathematics. He is rumored to be Coach Williams' "actual" wife as he once popped his head in the gym and asked "how their girls were doing" while referring to Coach Williams' daughters. He has a son and most faculty members who believe Coach Williams and Dr. Greene are actually married swear up and down they can see similarities in both Dr. Greene's son and Coach Williams.

Vikram "Stone" Mishra, United States History (Grades 10-12)- Mr. Mishra is a former Corpsman and is a complete mystery to most people. He has managed to hide his first name from most faculty members and all of the students, as the scantrons they take in his class only refer to him as "Stone Mishra". No one knows where the nickname comes from, but every adult refers to him as "Stone". Students are in awe of his countless old battle scars, enough so that they take his class despite knowing how strict he is. He is often told to be the strictest teacher on campus.

Ivan Kohli-Petrov, AP English Literature & Composition (Grades 11-12)- Mr. Kohli-Petrov is a former Marine and is a man of few words. Despite being mostly silent, his teaching has helped the school's overall test scores improve with how much he makes his class seem more fun. Most juniors and seniors say he makes reading more fun than their previous English teachers. He's not known for his friendliness, considering the looks he gives whenever someone asks him how the right side of his body got severely burned.

Rescue Mission

CW: Canon-typical violence & death, PTSD (not entirely accurate, please tell me if it's offensive), mention of torture, and rather graphic description of scars/wounds.

"We have a new mission," Kali said as he entered The Lions' shared barracks, where the other three soldiers in his squad were. He walked to the dining table, unfurling a map and setting it down on the table.

Sarabi frowned, noticing how his captain didn't sound as upbeat as usual. "A new mission?" he asked, getting up from the armchair that he had claimed months ago and walking over to where Kali was.

"Uh, not to be a worry-wart, Cap," Nala started, also moving towards Kali along with Simba. "But you're usually more excited for a new mission than you are right now. Is everything alright?"

Kali fiddled with his hands, it being unusual since he had settled back into his usual projection of authority and strength ever since he and the other Lions were reunited.

"It's a rescue mission, Commander Graves is sending us to save a Fleet Marine Corpsman who was presumed to be dead six months ago but was actually captured," he explained, ignoring Nala's question. He cleared his throat as he continued. "The people who are holding him is the terror cell called Minerva."

The name of said terror cell caused Simba, Nala, and Sarabi to bristle at the mention, all of them having a bad experience with the terror cell. After all, a year ago, Minerva was the both the mission and the terror cell that injured all three of them and caused the Marine Corps to presume they were dead. It was a sore subject for all of them, even Kali.

Simba seemed especially bothered by this new information. "The Marine Corps still haven't taken them down after what happened to us?" he inquired, a sneer heard in his voice and no doubt was on his face that was covered by the black balaclava.

Kali shrugged, barely containing his own rage. "According to the file that Graves gave me, the Marine Corps tried to take down Minerva but the squad they sent after us to another warehouse of Minerva barely got out of there alive and their Fleet Marine Corpsman—the one we're rescuing—got captured in the mayhem," he said, his hands curling into fists at the thought. "Shadow Company scouts have caught a glimpse of this Corpsman, callsign "Cerberus", in a warehouse specifically meant for prisoners of Minerva but they're all going to be moving to somewhere else soon. The window to rescue him is closing."

He let this all sink in and he looked at his men.

Sarabi was stock still, but that was usual for the lieutenant. Simba seemed perturbed at the thought of encountering Minerva again and Nala was trying to hide his fear by fiddling with his leather gloves.

They were scared and Kali couldn't blame them. Kali was the only one who managed to not get an injury during the fateful "Minerva" mission The Lions were sent on, but it still scarred him emotionally. And it had scarred his men physically.

Sarabi had his entire right side of his body, face and all, burned from barely diving out of the way when a grenade was thrown. Nala had a nasty knife scar on his stomach which still throbbed and felt like it could open out at any time. Simba had a bullet scar on his back and his legs still felt shaky despite the numerous months of physical therapy he was going to.

"I can ask Graves to assign another squad to the mission," Kali suggested after a few beats of silence. His hand reached for the closest Lion, which was Simba, intertwining their fingers together in a comforting gesture. "We don't have to do this mission, I will back you all up if you don't want to do it."

Sarabi looked at his other squadmates, all of them communicating silently. "We want to do the mission, Mufasa," he replied after a few seconds of silent communication. "There's a Corpsman in need of rescuing, assigning another squad could take more time than he has. You said it yourself, there's a window of time to rescue him that's closing."

Simba nodded in agreement with his lieutenant, squeezing Kali's hand. "Yeah, besides, we're in dire need of a Corpsman, yeah?" His comment was light-hearted and it made Nala and Kali chuckled just a little bit.

"Alright, then let's go over the plan." Kali let go of Simba's hand and took a deep breath before launching into the details of the plan.

A day later, The Lions were executing their plan, having a back-up Shadow Company squad waiting in case the plan went wrong. Again.

Their entry to the warehouse was smooth, Kali leading the front of the group and shooting down enemies. They moved through the warehouse as one, Kali in the front while Simba and Nala were in the middle with Sarabi flanking the rear. They shot down enemy after enemy, making quick work at getting to the large room where the prisoners were being held.

"Simba, you have the flash grenade ready?" Kali asked as they all pressed themselves against the wall near the door, Kali on the left side of the door while while Simba was right side.

Simba nodded, holding the flash grenade. "I'm ready, Mufasa."

"On three, Simba. One, two, three."

Simba opened the door and threw the denoted flash grenade into the room. It exploded and there were sounds of enemies shouting out in surprise as they got blinded.

The Lions used the temporary disadvantage and breached the room, taking down enemies. They didn't bother keeping any alive for interrogation, as their mission was solely a rescue mission. So all of their shooting were lethal, hitting their targets efficiently.

When all of the firing was dead twenty minutes later, Sarabi and Nala got to work on the freeing the prisoners while Kali and Simba moved to the other parts of the warehouse to take down the rest of the enemies.

"We're friendlies, from the private military company called Shadow Company," Nala said, his voice soft. He got to work getting the chains off of the prisoners. "We're going to get all of you out of here and to safety. But we're also here for a specific person, a Corpsman. Callsign "Cerberus". Any of you fit that description?"

"I didn't break," a weak masculine voice said, prompting Sarabi and Nala to turn their heads to look at the man.

His brown skin was pale, dirty, and scarred with knife and whip scars that covered almost everywhere on his body. There were scars spanning six months on his arms, legs, torso, back. One could barely see the tattoo of a swallow on his left shoulder and the tattoo of an eagle flying over a globe with the words "Semper Fi" underneath it that was on his right forearm because the swallow tattoo was marred by a whip scar and the Semper Fi tattoo was marred by a knife scar going up his right arm. His black hair was shoulder-length, evidence of his six-month captivity, and when he lifted his head up to look at both Sarabi and Nala, there was a huge knife scar that went from his right eyebrow down all the way to his cheek and seemed to blind the eye as it was white and cloudy.

"You didn't break?" Sarabi asked, slowly walking towards the Corpsman. He knelt down and gently unchained the man. "You stayed true to your country?"

The Corpsman, Cerberus, nodded. "They tried to get me to turn, I held my ground," he replied, his eyes drooping as he was so dehydrated and hungry.

Sarabi felt a pull towards the Corpsman and he very slowly and gently cupped Cerberus' right cheek, running his gloved thumb across the scar.

"You did great, soldier," he murmured, smiling softly beneath the hard-plated lioness mask and his black balaclava to which Cerberus could see his eyes crinkle as he smiled.

"We're getting you out of here, you survived. You survived and you're going home."
