You can find the Ao3 collection HERE!
And I know that sometimes, it can be a pain to figure out how to add to collections (please tell me I'm not the ONLY one who has struggled with this 😭), so here's a step by step!
STEP ONE: Post a New Work OR Edit an existing work.
STEP TWO: Under the Associations category, you’ll see “Post to Collections / Challenges”
STEP THREE: Type summerofbadbatch2024 (no spaces)
STEP FOUR: This is where it gets tricky...the collection may or may not auto populate. If it doesn't, that's okay. Just leave summerofbadbatch2024 in there as is, and save the post (you can even save it as a draft and see if it worked!) It should add it to the collection even if it didn't auto populate 🤓
Q: What is Summer of Bad Batch??
A: Summer of Bad Batch is a laidback, summer prompt challenge from June 1st-August 31st. Every Sunday (12am CST), a prompt and alternative prompt will be released to inspire creativity in the Star Wars: The Bad Batch fandom! By filling prompts by August 31st, you can qualify as a:
Participant (completed 1-12 prompts)
Completionist (completed 13+ prompts)
Overachiever (completed 13 main prompts + the 13 alternative prompts)
At the end of the challenge, there will be a form for participants to fill out to let me know what category of completion they fall into. A post will be made for each category giving a shoutout and (if you’d like) a link to your Master List of completed prompt fills.
Q: What can I do to fill a prompt?
A: Anything you want! Fanfic, fan art, drabbles, doodles, cartoons, poetry...the possibilities are endless! The only real criteria is that it has to be based on Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Q: Will you reblog prompt fills?
A: Yes! However, since I am keeping this blog PG, I will only reblog prompt fills that fit within that criteria. Basically, if it could be in the literal show itself, it could be reblogged here ☺️
(That said, I won’t reblog any clone x clone content simply because it is one of my main squicks 😅)
Also, make sure you tag your prompt fills! That's the only way I'll be able to find them in the wide world of Tumblr! So, tag your prompt fills with #summerofbadbatch2024 so I (and anyone else who is looking for Summer of Bad Batch goodness!) can find your posts!
(And everything is welcome on the Ao3 Summer of Bad Batch 2024 Collection — so make sure to add to it if you’re on Ao3!)
Q: When will prompts be released?
A: Every Sunday (with the exception of Week 1, which will have a special release date of Saturday, June 1st) at 12am CST.
Q: What if I don’t understand a prompt?
A: Send me a message or an ask! I’d be happy to help!
Q: What if I don’t like the weekly prompt?
A: Every week will have an alternate prompt available! And alternate prompts can be swapped out for any main prompt, regardless of which week!
Q: Where can I post my prompt fills?
A: Anywhere you'd like! Personally, I'm only on Ao3 and Tumblr...but I know that this fandom is literally all over the internet, so wherever you feel comfortable posting, do it!!
Q: What if I don't finish filling the prompt within the week?
A: One of my favorite parts of this prompt challenge is that there are no deadlines! If you want to be a Completionist or an Overachiever, you just have to have the prompts complete by August 31st!
Finished week 2 during week 5? Great!
Finished weeks 1-13 during week 13?? 😅 That works!
Q: Do I have to post/publish my prompt fills to be considered a participant/completionist/overachiever?
A: Nope! I know not to everyone feels comfortable sharing their work, and that’s totally fine!
You don’t have to post/publish a single thing to qualify. At the end of the challenge, I’ll link a form for anyone who participated to fill out. This is all based on the honor system…so if you say you completed “such and such”…I’ll take your word for it 😊 If you want, you can still be given a shout out for whatever level of participation you said you completed. Just let me know!
Q: Can I combine prompts?
A: Yes! Mash up those prompts and make a custom, super prompt if your heart so desires!
Q: But can I combine prompts with other challenges?
A: Absolutely! If the other challenge allows it, feel free to combine Summer of Bad Batch as you see fit ✨
Q: Can I apply prompts to works I've already completed/posted?
A: Prompts should not be applied to already completed works.
But if you have a WIP that's been gathering dust that would fit the occasion, that would be fine!
Have a story that you're adding chapters to? You can apply prompts to new chapters! That's fine too!
Q: Will there be a complete prompt list available?
A: Not until after the event, since prompts will be posted weekly 😘
Q: Can I use the prompts even after the event has ended?
A: Absolutely!
You didn’t find your question here?? Send me an ask, I’d be happy to help!

I think you can only answer a Question once so I’ll just tag you, since it’s easier to split this into two parts. @kazissexy
“What would you consider to be the media that best represents Q&E? and add onto that- What do you think is essential when writing their characters?”
(This is reuploaded but slightly tweaked to hopefully answer this question by giving an example of bad writing, in reference to rogues!)
The first issue is the way the riddler treats Q&E within Rogues! Is weird and there’s no way the girls would take that treatment. they are working for Edward because it pays well, and they like to. They worked well together before Edward, and they even work for other criminals if he’s not available (Nightwing Vol 2 #1,000,000, 1998). They would not stick around for poor treatment. They are not meek in any way, and do not need to be portrayed as such. Even in Questions multiply the mystery (1995) when they are abandoned they come after the riddler with an axe.
Furthermore:
• Nina in particular is treated badly. She is an idiot to put it plainly, she lacks the intelligence or ability to keep up with Edward. It feels like her only purpose is comic relief not to play an actual role. It comes to a point where I’d question if she was necessary to include.
• There is definitely an imbalance in how Query and Echo are portrayed. They do not read as equals, Query is the more competent one, the one who Edward can prefer and trust while Echo is barely tolerable and frankly quite lazy. How does one forget to do their job?
• The only form of personality codotverse Q&E have is lusting over Jonathan and giggling like school girls, Which is disheartening to listen to, why are two strong women being reduced to that? It also feels a little wild considering Query is a lesbian (as seen in Robin Vol 2 #93, 2001) through her Labrys axe tattoo. The labrys axe was a commonly claimed symbol in 70’s among lesbians (though not now). “Send out the right signals so other women can cruise you” (The pink paper, 1995) in reference to wearing an Labrys axe. Echo isn’t confirmed, but likely to be queer to. They are clearly visually queer punk women taking inspiration from the lesbian BDSM scene in the 90's. Related reading would be Robinson, S. (2018) who writes about this new acceptance in the 80’s and 90’s of “sex radicalism”among lesbians creating a community to explore “a range of sexual practices and aesthetics more commonly linked with gay men, such as sexual sadomasochism (S/M) and leather.” If you want to know what this looks like Chloe Sherman has a book ("Renegades, San Francisco: The 1990s") of photos of lesbians that show the queer culture and fashion at this time (she has some of these photos on her instagram) it does not need to be explicitly said when it is ingrained in their design. They are queer women.
•Codoverse also feels like it ignores their comic book relationship. The way Edward and the girls interacts canonically isn’t strictly boss/worker, there’s quite a blur in boundaries. Edward both LIKES and fears the girls. They have a very physically close relationship that isn’t typical when you look at other characters and henchpeople (especially if you look at other henchpeople of the riddler's) he is fond of them, and they hold a fondness for him... They are affectionately close. Codotverse portrays a very different idea of their relationship that just feels cold and very black and white.
Both girls are neglected and poorly written
(This is more personal issues as well as alternative idea to fix it)
•I also find it odd that Nina is a gamer, which is really not the biggest deal, but there was more potential to build on what was already there. She’s a biker. We know that, we know her and Diedre are very bold and fun girls. They get enjoyment from the thrill of what they do. Query is shown to be trigger happy and it's clear they are both reckless. So why not have them as joyriders and adrenaline junkies because that’s who they are. I’d even like to see them in roller derby something that differs from comics but still is in line with their characters. Roller derby has a big punk and lesbian culture. It is fun, fast pace and has a positive relationship with sexuality of women which seems perfectly suited to them. If you want to read to get an idea of derby culture Jessica Stites (2008) is a good place to start.
Their personalities felt so tame and out of place in Rogues! for the characters they really are. They deserve to be portrayed better, they are interesting characters and sure comics do not delve deep enough into who they are as people (I wish there was more) but rogues! Does an awful job.

Q: Who can join these writing challenges?
A: Anyone can! No sign up or permission is necessary. And you can join at any time, no need to start at the first prompt.
Q: What tag(s) should I be using?
A: Use #cleonchallenge and any other tags you would normally use.
Q: How long can these fics be?
A: Unless otherwise stated in the prompt(s), they can be as long or as short as you want! Keep in mind new prompts come out weekly so please pace yourself and don't feel obligated to write lengthy epics. Seriously, even 100 words or less is perfectly fine!
Q: Is NSFW allowed?
A: Yes! Just make sure everything is properly tagged and everything involves adults.
Q: Is there an ao3 collection that these can be posted to? And is it required?
A: There is a Cleon Writing Challenge collection maintained by ShortAttentionSpanFics that is available to be used but it is not required to add them there if you do not wish to (or you forget lol).
Q: Can I use AI to write these?
A: No. I'll skin you alive if you do.
Q: How do the "Fill-In-The-Blank Title" challenges work?
A: I'll give you something like "Leon and Claire go ____" and you just need to think up a word or words to finish the title. For this example it could be something like "Leon and Claire go to the beach" or "Leon and Claire go home" and then you take that title and create a short fic from that while using the now complete title.
Q: What about the Quotes/Scenarios Challenges?
A: The scenarios ones are probably pretty self explanatory. Just make a fic based on a basic scenario with everything else left up to you. For the Quotes challenge you just need one character in the fic to say the given quote, doesn't have to be Leon or Claire. Again, everything else is left up to you.
Q: Are the bonus challenges required?
A: Nope! Purely optional.
Q: What is that "Round 1" and "Week 1" thing on the prompt?
A: That is mostly for my benefit in keeping things organized. Each "Round" consists of 12 weeks as that is how many unique combinations of Main challenge and Bonus challenge there are before they repeat (ex. Scenarios/Location, Quotes/Object, Scenarios/Word Count and so on). This is all just to make sure I don't start repeating it too early. You can also use this to specify which prompt you're using but it's not at all required.
Q: I like the prompt but I'm not really feeling it for Leon and Claire. Is it ok if I use it for a different pairing/fandom?
A: Sure, I don't mind. Just don't use the Cleon specific tags or add them to the ao3 collection when you post it. Maybe just mention where the prompt came from if anything.
Q: I like a prompt but it was posted months ago. Can I still use it?
A: Yes! These prompts don't have an expiration date. New ones are just added weekly. If anything just specify what prompt is being used in your notes/summary. Or use the "Round/Week" thing mentioned above.
Q: Can I use these prompts for a longer/multi chapter fic?
A: Sure!
Q: I don't write but one of the prompts inspired me to create fan art. Can I still use the #cleonchallenge tag?
A: Absolutely!
Q: I have a fun idea for a prompt. Can I suggest it to you?
A: Sure, just send it to my Ask box. Keep in mind that prompts are scheduled months in advance so it might take a while to get to your suggestion. I'm also not always logged into this account so it might take a while for me to notice the Ask. But please still send them in!
Q: I don't know if I can keep up with writing a fic every week. Will you hate me for skipping prompts? :(
A: Nobody will hate you for skipping prompts. These are just for fun and you should never pressure yourself to complete them if you're not feeling up to it. <3
Q: Where should I be posting my fics?
A: I would prefer ao3 but honestly feel free to post them wherever is most convenient for you.
Q: I have a question that I don't see in the FAQ. What do?!
A: Send any questions to my Ask box or DM me directly. Again, remember that I'm not always on this account so answers might be delayed.

hi! Im @addlepater, I run this blog.
this blog contains nsft themes, questions, and options.
most of it is blockable by blocking: "cw suggestive" "suggestive" "nsft" or "nsft tntduo polls" and if I forget, please remind me.
ive done some polls on it, and decided that unless its super duper explicit like "what colour is c!wilburs asshole" or sm then im not gonna put a content label on it UNLESS someone directly asks me to on that poll. dont be shy to.
for any asks that are NOT poll suggestions, please send them over to my main :)
poll response time, and poll submission:
I am slow, very, very slow, please keep that in mind, I am sorry if I dont get to your poll quick enough :,) that being said, here's a list of options for submitting polls, from least likely wating time, to most:
submit a poll through the submit a post system on Tumblr, which is different from asks!
make a poll and tag this account, so I can reblog it
send in an ask with all options wanted in the poll specified
send in a question, without specified responses
send in a vague suggestion
I appriciate all the asks and suggestions, dont be shy, this is not a complaint, more so a guide on how to minimise wait time :)
the polls I make don't have any right answers, thats why its a poll. i'm not asking about whats most right according to canon, I'm asking about what YOU think. canon is my bitch and I believe thats the community spirit too these days.
if you make a tntduo related poll and want some more reach, feel free to @ me and I'll be more than happy to reblog it
or, if you wanna make your own poll account for tntduo, go ahead! the more the merrier! (please please plea)
unless stated otherwise, my polls can be answered under the assumption that im talking about late Las Nevadas era, whatever that looks like to you.
generally its easiest to do and will be out fastest if you include options in your ask, but If you just have a question, I can add in options. that being said, I can add them in for you, its no problem.
dont know what to submit? here's some ideas: - name two or more songs, and ask which is more tntduo? - name one song, and ask if its tntduo - a hot take! ask if based/not based - a less hot take, just an opinion. based/not based. - a head cannon, based, or not? - a fic rec: have you read it?
things you may submit:
you may submit nsft asks
you may submit controversial asks
submit asks relating to only wil or Q, not them as a duo
things not entirely related to tntduo, if its like close ish, I dont care
you may do anything not in the do not section
submit asks about the community
do not
send in any polls in direct support of William gold
send in polls that relate to genuine feuds in the community, if there are any.
thats it! :) have fun

My Intro Post!!
Hello and welcome to my blog!! My name’s Ari, but you can call me whatever idc. I’m a girl, a minor, an Aquarius if that matters to you and I have 2 younger brothers.
I lived in Australia for lots of my childhood however moved to Spain last year. I’ve done research and while different people seem to have different definitions of the term, I identify as Hispanic as I’m quite immersed in the Spanish culture, language, etc, never plan on leaving and have been raised like a Spanish kid (my parents have wanted to live here since they were kids so they’ve been preparing us for life here since we were newborn) even though I’m genetically Australian. If you believe I don’t fit the term idc that’s your opinion but this is how I identify.
I’ve been practicing witchcraft since late 2021 and believed in the Greek gods since I was a kid (because of PJO lol). I call myself a Greek pagan witch with animist and omnist beliefs, I believe the terms Hellenism and polytheism may apply but idk enough about them to use them to describe myself.
I started working with Aphrodite 4 days into my practice cuz I’m a bit silly however I’ve gotten more consistent and comfortable with my worship over time. Now working with her is just a part of my daily life, I love all her different epithets (I think is the word) she’s just so cool. I want to start working with King Hades and Queen Persephone in the future.
I’m trying to get better at note taking cuz I often forget. This blog is for saving notes #info, #paganism, #animism and #witchcraft stuff, I’ll post stuff related to #greek mythology under its own tag if not practitioner based, all deity/entity stuff is under its own tag (eg. #aphrodite, #hermes, #odysseus, #telemachus, etc).I also post related fandom stuff here like; #hades game, #pjo, #epic the musical, etc and stuff I’m more critical of like; #anti Madeline miller, #anti lore olympus under their own tags. My posts and asks are under #stariel posts and #stariel asks, all reblogs and queued are #stariel reblogs and #q, if I add a bit of my own input to a post it goes under #stariel convos, if I’m interacting with the community/mutuals it goes under #stariel community and #fave contains well all my fav posts.
I love spirit work and when I’m more experienced I plan on working with ghosts and animal spirits though currently I’m content just talking to my plants, house, divination tools and Aphrodite. I also want to start Ancestor Work soon. I’m a big fan of baneful protection magic and glamour/love magic. I’m pretty proud of my clair senses, intuition and divination abilities, I’ve always been an empath (my definition is; good at sensing energy and emotions) so I’ve put lots of effort into improving these skills which I’m quite happy with the strength of now.
You may also see special interest junk here (I’m neurodivergent) however I’ll try keep it at a minimum and it’ll only be posted if it is related to the topics of this blog (eg. Marvel comics [that and witchy stuff are my 2 big things] and also other interests like #Hermitcraft).
I’m a nickname person, I have some of the best nicknames ever (Stariel was one and now it’s my user for everything) so now I give everyone/thing nicknames lol. Just a warning, if we become friends I’m giving you 10,000 nicknames. I’m also a yapper as you can see below, irl I’ve learned to contain and summarise my paragraphs but on tumblr I let myself go wild and add as many irrelevant details/thoughts I have so I apologise in advance for the essays.
I personally believe hugely in free speech so there’s no DNI for this blog. Everyone is welcome as long as civil discussion is maintained no blatant straw manning/mud slinging if you want to debate me or someone else here on a topic make sure to be respectful about it, thanks.
And that’s about all I have to say right now, I seriously should make intros for my other blogs. Enjoy your stay!!

#Is it odd I’m making my first intro post here instead of my main? probs but idc#stariel posts#intro post#witchcraft#aphrodite devotee#greek mythology#paganism#epic the musical#the odyssey#animism#Aphrodite#PJO#Ik irrelevant tagging is bad however I wanted to tag the topics of my blog

Happy 25th birthday, Digimon Adventure!
Honestly, I don't know how I could forget @digimonadventureweek when it's such an important date for me as a long-term Digimon fan. I guess it's because life's a bit bitchy right now. Anyway, now I'm here!
I haven't prepared anything but I thought I'd share how I celebrate today. Here's Gomamon keeping me company on my desk at work (together with the Muppets and a relaxing Lopmon. I also have Patamon as Funko Pop but I left him at home in my, ehem, Digimon shrine😅.)

And that's what I wore today, this super cool shirt by AnimeDesigns12 on Redbubble:

Bonus Q & A
Which crest did you relate to the most as a child, has it changed since then?
As said in the tags of this post, I used to relate very much to Love (see the shirt) because I thought myself to be motherly but I also believed that I could buy people's affection with being caring. There's always two sides of a coin you see. Courage is something I try to incorporate into my life as well but now more than ever I think my Reliability is something that comes to people's mind when they think about me (at least I hope so). Whenever I dreamt about joining the team I imagined myself having the new crest of Determination though.
Is there a dialogue (sub/dub) from the series that you quote frequently IRL?
Oh boy, and how there is one! Two, actually, both from the same episode, 01x09 "Subzero Ice Punch!"/"Clash! The Freezing Digimon" - Verschollen in Eis und Schnee
"Ich lass dich nicht los und wenn mir der Arm abreißt!"
(I couldn't find the exact scene but this is the one preceding it before they hang from a branch and Taichi promises Yamato not let him go even if it tears his arm out.)
"Ich bin das Frigimon!"
I just love him and how he says "I am Frigimon" every frickin' time!
That's all from me for now but I'll probably add a picture of my Digimon collection and, uh, said shrine.

REC EXCHANGE 2023
Hello all! It’s that time of year again!
Here at Fic Clique we’re all about reading good stuff and sharing it with our friends. In this spirit, we host an annual exchange where we rec wonderful fics among our community.
Please note: Due to the nature of this event and the fact that explicit fics may be part of the exchange, you must be 18+ to participate.
How it works:
This will be our second year creating a community generated Tag Set that will then be used for Sign Ups. You can submit fandoms for the Tag Set here starting on October 18th! When signing up to participate, 2 of your fandoms will need to be from the Tag Set.
Sign-ups will be hosted through a google form. The link will be available here and on our twitter when they open! We ask everyone to request 3-5 fandoms they’d like to receive recs for and 4-6 fandoms they can offer to give recs for. This year we are also allowing for more than 6 fandom offers if there are more fandoms you are well-read in and eager to offer recs for.
In addition to requesting and offering fandoms, you can also add in likes, dislikes, and do-not-wants (DNWs) into your requests. These will be passed along to the participant choosing fics for you. We ask that everyone take their recipient’s DNWs seriously, but since this is a relatively small and cozy exchange, we can’t guarantee that all of your likes and dislikes will be met.
Each rec-er must provide 3-5 recs total for their recipient. They can be from any of the requester’s fandoms (or multiple for the same fandom), but we hope this way there will be something new and exciting to read for everyone involved!
Additionally, if you’re open to receiving an extra “wild card” rec that doesn't fit within your fandom requests (but that your rec-er loves with their whole hearts and wants to scream about from the rooftops) please indicate so in your sign-up. If you are someone who values a certain trope or au over a specific fandom, you can emphasize wanting wild card recs in your “likes” section.
There is also a section on the sign-up form to indicate if you would like to be a pinch hitter. Pinch hitters will be notified no later than December 20th, and will be expected to pull the minimum 3 fics for their recipient. If you forget to add it in on your sign-up or decide afterwards that you would like to pinch hit, just email us at [email protected].
We’ll be checking in with everyone a bit before recs are due to see if everyone’s on the right track and still able to participate. If you have any questions or concerns reach out to us whenever throughout this process and we are always happy to assist. Q: Is this exchange anonymous?
A: Yes & no. It is encouraged to keep things anonymous during the reccing process, but recs will not be anonymous when they are sent out, nor in the master doc.
Q: How do drop outs work?
A: We have a fairly informal drop out process. You can either reply back to one of our check-in emails letting us know you need to drop out, or contact us on your own at any time. A: The easiest ways are to either shoot us an email at [email protected] or DM us on twitter.
If you have questions please feel free to reach out to us here, on Twitter, in our discord, or by email at [email protected]
Happy reccing!!

you guys have to learn to use read more. on desktop, when you press enter (NOT shift+enter) to create a new indent, you'll see these icons.
at the end, you'll want to click the icon that is two lines, with a squiggle in the middle.
this is the "read more" button. when you press it, this will appear on your post.
this is the "keep reading" line. what this is does is, anything you put under this line, it'll become hidden from the reader until they press a button that looks like this
this is an interactable button. once clicked, anything that you hid under the "keep reading" line from earlier will then become visible to the reader. here it is in action.
now, what about on smart phones? when you go to create a new post, the buttons will be the same, except the "read more" button will be the second to last, and will be shorter in width.
this will function the exact same as it does on desktop, albeit with the "keep reading" line in your post saying "more" instead, and having a straight dashed line through it
if you do not have buttons to be able to add it that way, an alternative solution is to type ":readmore:" in the space between your visible text and your hidden text, and then press return or enter on your phone's keyboard
there. you have now successfully created a post that will contain information under a button that the reader has to physically press/click in order to view it.
short QnA:
Q: Why would I want to do this? A: There are three major reasons:
1. If you are creating a post that will contain spoilers for a newly released piece of media, and would not want to risk spoiling anything to other fans. 2. If your post includes sensitive topics that you aware that the general userbase isn't comfortable seeing without a warning, and it may show up users who are particularly sensitive to the subject you're talking about, maybe because you missed a tag, or forgot to put any at all. 3. If you have created a long post, and would not want it to unwillingly wake up space on the users' dash.
Q: Why can't I just use the tw!tter/blusky method of making a vertical row of dots between my post's title and the post's actual content? A: Because this is what it looks like when you do that, even if you have the option enabled to shorten long posts.
and sometimes your post will not be long enough to even trigger the expand button
very rarely, you might be able to trigger the expand button to show up in the correct place. however, this will only be helpful in the grid layout mode of searches (where posts are together in rows of three), not in the feed layout mode (where posts are shown one after the other). which, please keep in mind, you can only go into grid mode when you are searching something. your personal tumblr dash does NOT have a grid mode. only a feed mode.
Q: Is it not the reader's responsibility for going into tags that will obviously contain spoilers, or sensitive content? A: Ultimately, yes. But you also have to think of your followers, especially your mutuals. If you have followers who are into the same media as you, then you don't want to risk spoiling them. Andi f you have followers that are more sensitive than you, then you don't want to risk causing them harm. There's always the chance of you forgetting to put in the appropriate tags that they have blocked, and you could accidentally expose them to content they don't wish to view in their regular dash.
Q: Your post is long, so why didn't you yourself utilize the function? A: Because, in this case, hiding important and useful information like this under a "read more" defeats the purpose of it being accessible for users.
at the bottom of this post will be an ACTUAL "keep reading" button for you to touch, so you can experience it yourself in real time. thank you if you took the time to read and learn from this post. use this function wisely.

So you’ve been consistently posting on Instagram, your style is on point, your engagement is climbing, and now you’re wondering: How do I land my first brand deal? Whether you're a micro-influencer just starting out or building a small but loyal following, getting your first paid brand collaboration can feel like a significant milestone. The good news? You don’t need 100K followers to work with brands anymore. In fact, fashion and lifestyle brands are increasingly seeking micro-influencers (those with 1K–50K followers) because of their authenticity and niche reach. This is your no-fluff, totally doable guide to landing your first brand deal on Instagram—and setting yourself up for long-term success. Step 1: Polish Your Profile Like a Pro Before a brand says yes, they’ll do one thing first: check your Instagram profile. So, treat it like your digital portfolio. Profile photo: Clear, high-quality, and on-brand (ideally a photo of you). Bio: Tell brands who you are and what kind of content you create. Add something like “Fashion Creator | Styling Daily Looks | DM for Collabs” to signal you’re open to partnerships. Link in bio: Use Linktree, Beacons, or a personal website to showcase your best content, rates, or media kit. Your grid should reflect your niche and personal style. Whether you’re into sustainable fashion, bold streetwear, or minimalist aesthetics, make it easy for a brand to see your vibe instantly. Step 2: Create Brand-Friendly Content (Before They Even Ask) Here’s a secret: Brands are already watching before they follow or DM you. Start by creating content that shows what it would be like if you were already working with them. Think of this as building a portfolio in public: Tag brands you love organically. Style pieces you’ve purchased and mention them by name. Use creative captions that mimic what a paid collab might sound like. For example, instead of just posting “New favorite jacket,” try:“Obsessed with this cropped blazer from @brandname—perfect for layering my spring looks. Would you rock this color?” This shows brands you're already capable of integrating their product naturally into your content. Step 3: Build Engagement, Not Just Followers Yes, follower count matters—but engagement rate is gold. Micro-influencers often have higher engagement because their audiences are more connected. Focus on these key tactics: Reply to every comment and DM. Use Instagram Stories to interact (polls, Q&As, outfit votes). Post consistently—3–4 times a week is great. Use niche hashtags to reach fashion communities (e.g. #PetiteStyleBloggers or #StreetStyleDaily). Also, don’t forget to collaborate with other micro-influencers. This expands your reach, boosts visibility, and signals community involvement (which brands love). Step 4: Reach Out—Yes, You Can Pitch First Don’t wait around for brands to notice you. Get that deal. Here’s how to do it: 1. Make a Target List Write down 10–15 fashion or lifestyle brands that align with your style. Aim for indie labels, small businesses, or local boutiques—they’re more likely to collaborate with emerging creators. 2. Find Their Contact Info Check their Instagram bio or website for PR or influencer marketing contacts. If all else fails, DM them a friendly message asking for the right email to pitch. 3. Write a Short, Professional Pitch Your pitch doesn’t need to be long—just clear, confident, and personalized. Here's a simple format: Hi , I’m , a fashion creator based in who focuses on . I love how your brand blends . I’d love to collaborate on content that showcases . My audience is highly engaged, and I believe they’d connect with your pieces. I’ve attached my media kit and some past examples. Looking forward to hearing from you! Best, | Step 5: Have a Simple Media Kit Ready A media kit is your influencer resume. Keep it one page and include: A short bio Your Instagram stats (follower count, engagement rate) Audience insights (age, location, gender) Example posts or campaigns (even if unpaid) Contact info Canva has beautiful media kit templates you can customize in minutes. Step 6: Be Patient, Stay Consistent Here’s the real talk: It might take 10 pitches to get 1 reply. And that’s okay. Every “no” is one step closer to a “yes.” Brands love consistency, so keep showing up, creating, and connecting with your audience. The first brand deal often leads to more opportunities. Once you have that first collaboration under your belt—even if it’s gifted—you have proof of concept. Document the results, save the analytics, and share the experience on your Stories. Final Thoughts: Own Your Value As a micro-influencer, you bring something priceless to the table—trust. Your audience sees you as a real person, not a billboard. And that’s exactly what brands want in 2025: real voices, real impact. So don’t doubt your reach or wait for permission. Start pitching, creating, and owning your space in the fashion world. Your first brand deal isn’t far off—and this guide is just the beginning. Read the full article

Make Your Bedroom Feel Like a Five-Star Suite with These Tips

Ever dream of waking up in a luxurious hotel suite every morning? Well, you can turn that dream into reality with a few smart design choices. Let’s face it—your bedroom should feel like a sanctuary, a place where you escape the chaos of daily life. But how do you create that "wow" factor without needing to call in a designer? Let’s break it down.
Start with luxury bedding. Think about it—what’s the first thing you notice when you step into a hotel room? It’s always that plush, inviting bed. Invest in high-quality sheets—300-thread-count cotton or linen will do the trick. Pair it with fluffy pillows and a cozy duvet. You’ll feel like you’re sleeping on clouds.
Lighting is everything. A dimly lit room is cozy, but you need variety. Mix ambient lighting (soft overhead lights) with task lighting (reading lamps on your nightstand) and accent lighting (wall sconces, pendant lights). The right lighting can make or break a room. For instance, when I switched to soft, warm LED lights, it totally transformed the vibe. It felt like a luxurious retreat.
Texture adds depth. This is where your bedroom interior design starts to pop. Layer textures—mix a velvet throw with a linen duvet, add a wool rug underfoot, or throw in a few leather accents. Just like layering an outfit, layering textures brings dimension and richness to your space. Not everything has to match perfectly. In fact, a bit of contrast can create more interest.
Keep the clutter at bay. You wouldn’t see piles of clothes in a hotel suite, so don’t let it happen in your own space. Go for sleek furniture with hidden storage to keep everything neat and tidy. If you need some extra tips, consider floating shelves or storage baskets.
Don’t forget about colors. Neutral tones like soft grays, whites, and taupes give your bedroom that elegant, hotel-inspired vibe. But don’t shy away from a pop of color—think rich navy, emerald green, or gold accents for a touch of drama.
Stats:
According to a study by Sleep Foundation, quality bedding can improve your sleep quality by up to 40%.
A well-lit room increases your perception of space and ambiance by 30%, according to lighting experts.
Analogy: Think of your bedroom as a stage and the furniture and décor as the actors. If you have the right lighting, fabrics, and colors, it’s a performance that’ll leave you in awe every time you enter.
FAQ
Q: How can I make my small bedroom feel luxurious? A: Focus on using light colors, adding soft textures, and maximizing vertical space with tall furniture or shelves. A few well-placed mirrors can also make the room appear larger and more open.
Q: What’s the best way to create a relaxing atmosphere? A: Layer your bed with soft, breathable linens and opt for calming colors. Use warm lighting and avoid too many bold, stimulating patterns. Think of it as creating a cozy cocoon!
Q: Do I really need to invest in expensive furniture for a luxury look? A: Not at all. Quality doesn’t always mean high price tags. Shop smart and focus on high-impact items, like a statement bed or a beautiful lamp. It’s all about the right details.
Now, your bedroom doesn’t have to be a penthouse suite, but with a little thought and creativity, it can definitely feel like one!

Top Strategies for Social Media Success
In today’s interconnected world, social media platforms have become essential tools for personal branding, entertainment, and professional growth. However, succeeding on these platforms requires more than just random posts; it demands strategy, creativity, and adaptability. Whether you're a casual user, content creator, or entrepreneur, there are proven methods to enhance your social media presence. This article dives into practical strategies that will not only make you more effective online but also help you make the most of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Spotify.
Understanding the Importance of Engagement Engagement is the cornerstone of social media success. It’s not just about gaining followers; it’s about building a community. To do this, you must consistently interact with your audience. Answer their questions, respond to their comments, and create polls or interactive posts. For instance, TikTok is a great platform to boost engagement through viral trends. If you’re looking to make a splash, exploring unique trends like the popular 50 part TikTok can be an excellent way to connect with viewers. The segmented content keeps audiences intrigued and encourages them to follow the series for more.
Optimizing Your Presence on Instagram Instagram is a powerhouse for visual content and networking, but gaining credibility requires effort. Getting verified can significantly improve your standing. Wondering how do I get my Instagram account verified? The key is consistency and authenticity. Post regularly, maintain a professional-looking profile, and provide accurate information. Verification not only adds a layer of trustworthiness but also helps your content rank higher in search results.
In addition to verification, make use of Instagram Stories and Reels. These features can help you engage with your audience on a personal level. Use polls, quizzes, and interactive Q&A sessions to encourage participation. Ensure your captions are engaging, as they often determine whether a user decides to like, comment, or share your post.
Monetizing Your YouTube Channel YouTube is more than just a video platform; it’s a revenue-generating tool for creators. To make the most of it, learn how to subscribe money YouTube. This involves offering exclusive perks for your subscribers, such as premium content, shout-outs, or behind-the-scenes footage. Additionally, creating quality content consistently is crucial. Use SEO-friendly titles, write compelling descriptions, and add relevant tags to make your videos discoverable.
Collaborating with other creators in your niche is another excellent strategy. By tapping into each other’s audience, you can expand your reach and gain more subscribers. Don’t forget to promote your YouTube channel on other social media platforms to drive traffic.
Leveraging Spotify for Offline Listening For music enthusiasts and frequent travelers, Spotify is a game-changer. But did you know it’s possible to enjoy your favorite playlists even when offline? If you’re curious about how to use Spotify on a plane, it’s all about downloading songs beforehand. This feature ensures that you never run out of entertainment, even without internet access. Make it a habit to update your offline library regularly, especially before long flights or trips.
Spotify is also an incredible platform for artists to gain exposure. If you’re a musician, focus on creating playlists that feature your tracks alongside popular ones in your genre. This strategy helps in increasing your listenership and boosting your chances of getting featured on curated playlists.
Creative Branding for Music Groups For musicians, branding is as important as the music itself. One of the first steps is to choose a name that resonates with your audience. If you’re part of a duo, selecting the right name can make a lasting impression. Explore creative duo band names that reflect your style and identity. A catchy name not only makes you memorable but also helps in building a strong brand image.
Once you’ve chosen a name, work on creating a cohesive aesthetic. This includes designing a logo, choosing consistent colors, and maintaining a uniform style across your social media profiles. Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing experts to ensure that your branding aligns with your music and message.
Conclusion Achieving success on social media requires a mix of creativity, consistency, and strategy. From engaging with your audience and optimizing your profiles to monetizing platforms like YouTube and Spotify, there are endless opportunities to grow. Don’t forget the importance of branding, whether you’re a content creator or a musician. Implement these strategies today and watch your online presence flourish. What tips have worked for you? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!

DO NOT INTERACT IF: you fit the basic dni criteria \\ you support israel \\ can’t discuss things (like differing opinions) maturely \\ you are a pro-shipper \\ you are a porn link poster \\ you write smut for minors (aging them up with no canon time skip is also not welcome) \\ you don’t reblog fics or support artists and/or writers on tumblr dot com \\ you’re a man
FOR THE MINORS: i don’t care that you’re on my page reading my works. you’re the one taking the risks and the responsibility of what you’re going to read is all yours. just don’t interact because any visible age under 17, gets blocked.
HATE ASKS get either completely ridiculed & clowned or instantly blocked & deleted, no in-between. idc abt what you say (especially on anon). you got something to say about me, say it to me directly please !
this blog is mostly jjk-centred. however, i do publish genshin, hsr or l&dps related fics from time to time.
empty blogs will get blocked. inactive blogs too. use your accounts. spam liking will also get you blocked.
i use the block button how i please. if i block you, i have a reason. if we were mutuals, i hard block most of the time. if you decide to block me & we were mutuals: please hardblock me, not soft block.
this is not an only writing blog. i talk, vent and reblog stuff to my liking. i also talk about my own selfships. if you don’t like it, don’t complain. just block.
english is not my first language. don’t expect perfect english grammar — unasked criticism is not needed.
i do not indulge myself in personal discourse nor do i entertain it, unless i (or a mutual of mine) was offended first. when that happens & you do not want to see it, filter ‘cw discourse’.
most works are self-centred / self-indulgent: meaning, they are all female centred. reader is always portrayed as a woman & is shorter than the characters most of the time. though, no further descriptions are added (skin tone, body type etc.) unless i specify so in the tags.
i’m a misandrist and don’t like men, fyi ! if that bothers you, block me
this blog is not spoiler free. i also may forget to put spoiler warnings every now and then. don’t hesitate to politely remind me to add them if that happens.
Q&A
can i dm you to talk or ask something?
yes! as long as you stay respectful, my dms are always open. mutuals can ask for my discord any time as well.
you’ve blocked me, what did i do?
i use the block button how i like. if you’re blocked, you’re either one of the ppl in my dni or a blank/ageless/empty blog with no posts. or, it’s just that i didn’t feel comfortable with something you posted or said. orrrrr, it’s because of your own do not interact criteria and i went ahead and blocked you to spare you the trouble :)
can i vent to you in your inbox?
depends. if you want advice on a simple situation, sure. if it’s to rant about triggering topics (such as suicidal thoughts, depression, sexual assault, or other dark stuff) please seek a therapist for that — not just a random writer on the internet.
why do you block inactive and/or empty blogs that interact with you or follow you?
simply because some of you need to learn that tumblr works on reblogs. plus, empty blogs (and especially with the default tumblr layout) look like bots. lurkers are also not welcome. if you want to keep reading the amazing fictional works on this app, then you need to help your creators out by reblogging their content. it shows support, even if you don’t add any tags to it.
you haven’t posted a fic in a while. when are you publishing one?
i’m a slow writer sometimes. do not expect a fic each day or even each week / two to three weeks. i have a social life outside of this tumblr account i started just for fun (plus university) — no pressuring me into or asking for a part 2 / fic either or you’re blocked.

MayBlade FAQ
Q: What is MayBlade?
A: It is an online event for all the fans of Beyblade. It takes place in May and everybody is welcome to create art, stories, edits and any kind of content they can think of - as long as it’s Beyblade related!
Q: How do I participate?
A: Just make content you enjoy and post it online tagging it as MayBlade. This year we will be using mayblade 2025 tag on Tumblr. I will be following the tag to (hopefully) not miss any of the works. I am NOT tracking mayblade2025 without a space.
Q: Can I post on other platforms?
A: Of course you can. You don’t have to post on Tumblr at all. You can publish your works on any website you like and mention it is a work for MayBlade event. You can always publish links to different sites on Tumblr if you’d still like your works to be reblogged here, although it is not obligatory.
Q: Is it original series Beyblade only?
A: No, it’s not. Although I, the organiser, am only fan of Bakuten Shoot, I want fans of other Beyblade shows to enjoy the event too. If you are fan of Metal Saga, Burst or BeyWheelz and any other spin-off you can make content related to your favourite series.
Q: Where can I find the prompts?
A: Here are the links:
2025 prompt list
2024 prompt list
2023 prompt list
2022 prompt list
Q: Do I have to follow the prompts?
A: Of course not. The prompts are only to give general ideas. If there is a specific thing you’d like to do and it is not related to any of the prompts - feel free to do it anyway, and tag MayBlade.
Q: I’d like to participate, but I’m doing another event/I won’t have time to do the event every day.
A: As I said above, you do not have to follow the prompts. If you make Beyblade-related content for another event, just tag it as MayBlade and it will count. You also don't have to participate every day - even one work is enough.
Q: Is AU allowed?
A: Yes, it is.
Q: Are OCs allowed?
A: OCs are allowed as long as they are in presence of at least one character from the Beyblade series.
Q: Are crossovers allowed?
A: Just like with OCs, crossovers are allowed as long as at least one Beyblade character is present in them.
Q: Is NSFW and gore allowed?
A: Yes, but please, mark it properly and use the “read more” option, so the content could be hidden from more sensitive people. This way, you don’t have to limit yourself while people who prefer not to see this kind of stuff will be protected.
Q: How do I add “read more” to my post on mobile?
A: Type :read more: (just remove the space between the words)
Q: Are edits allowed?
A: Yes, they are. In case you want to use fanarts, remember to check if the original artist is okay with it and make sure to credit them properly.
Q: My post wasn't reblogged. Why?
A: Despite the fact I am tracking the tag and I'm checking it several times a day, Tumblr decided not to show me all of the posts. Or, they show after a day or two passed. If I haven't reblogged your post during the 24 hours of you posting it, please, tag me in the reblog/replies or PM me with a link to the missing work so I can reblog properly. I would hate to miss any of the wonderful works you people are making due to technical difficulties!
Q: Why did you reblog (completely unrelated post) to MayBlade blog?
A: ...one day I will learn, I swear. I keep forgetting I have more than my personal blog. If I haven't realised the post is on the wrong blog, PM me so I can remove it.
Q: Is AI art allowed?
A: AI isn't art, it's artificially generated pictures and is not allowed. If I find out you submitted AI images without tagging them as AI, they will be promptly removed and you will be blocked.
Q: Do I have to follow the prompts in order? Can I mix them together?
A: Not at all! Prompts are completely optional, you can mix them, use prompts from the previous years or not use any prompts at all. It's everything up to the participants!
If you have any more questions feel free to message me! This guide may be updated in the future.

So you want to write a bilingual character
Because people found this post on Hispanism on OFMD useful for fic writing, I thought I could delve a bit into writing bilingualism. I want to keep this brief, lest I get too much into linguistics, so I’m doing it as a Q/A.
Do I need to speak the other language to write a bilingual character?
Certainly not. Google translate can do the job. But you need to understand how languages work so you can avoid stupid literal translations. To be safe, it’s better that you stick to single words, simple sentences and avoid figurative speech.
Figurative speech. What’s that?
Any expression in which you are using an image. For example, when I say “I head to work” How will “head” be translated? Will I get a “going to” or will I get a literal floating head that I throw to the job?
If you are using popular languages (English, Spanish, probably French) automatic translators will detect figurative speech and correct as necessary. I recommend Google because it learns with time and use and it’s pretty accurate, but with less popular languages the translation is chunkier.
Do I write their accent?
I would say no. You can, but it makes reading those lines harder. Especially if your readers are not native speakers. They will have to sound the words to figure out what they are supposed to mean.
Consider: “Bill is very busy at ze moment, working very 'ard, and I only work part-time at Gringotts for my Eenglish, so he brought me 'ere for a few days to get to know 'is family properly.”
Here, foreign readers have to add the missing –h and realize that ze=the. Not impossible, but it can be frustrating.
You can have an accent! but it’s not the only way to show someone is a foreign speaker. So, think if it’s worth the strain for your readers. If some of your readers will have to read that line twice, give them something for their trouble. Is there a word in particular the characters always get wrong? Is there any confusion between two words? Do other characters also find it difficult to understand?
Fine, no accents. So can they spout some words in their language?
Eeeeeeh… it depends. Usually bilinguals are very adept at keeping languages apart, but not always. Say hello to our friend “code switching” which is what happens when we change from one language to another. The Wikipedia page tells a lot about it, but for now you only need to know there are four types:
Outside the sentence: “Santa madre de Dios, dame paciencia,” said Jim. “Listen, guys, you all know me…”
Inside the sentence: “It’s all that bastardito’s fault”
In the tag: “If you don’t do as I say, I will throw you overboard, ¿Vale?”
In the word: This is harder to explain, but one word takes morphemes from the other language. Like taking Italian “ravioli” and adding and –s for plural, “raviolis” when the original was already in plural.
The key is not so much which word they are saying in a different language, but where they are saying it. Outside or in the tag are more common, especially for emphasis. Inside the sentence when there is a slight difference in the translation (ie: frijol and bean are not the same thing) or it’s not something used everyday (like the pieces of a car engine).
But what words will they not know?
The middle ones. No one is forgetting the common, easy, ones. (Yes, no, up, down, later, come, stop…) They may use them in their own language if they are part of the tag or in informal conversation, but no one is going to struggle for three sentences to remember how to say “yes”.
Also, not the rare ones either (susurrus, prosaic, erudite…) because those words tend to a) be similar across languages of the same family (and if we have a Romance speaker with English, they will be common words to them) b) be deliberately taught. It depends on when and how your character learned the second language, but it is not rare that second-language speakers use high words with low grammar.
So it will be the middle ones, not super easy but not difficult. Words they know, but temporarily forget, or words they simply haven’t come across yet like a cooking implement, a machine, a very specific action, etc.
I am not comfortable writing anything in that other language. What do?
Then your bilingual character will have to do some negotiation and circumlocution This happens when the speakers knows they lack the word, but rather than bringing one from their first language, they explain what they mean. For example:
“He was a gentleman for sure, capt’n. He had nice hair and a white hanky showing out of his sleeves.”
“Oh? Did he have lace cuffs?”
Can I see an example of everything?
Here, just because I like this exchange.
“Can’t you shield yourself with a potion of pearl and-? What’s the word, you put it in water, connard, comment dit-on? Savon. That’s sapon, sapot, sopon. Arrg, ça me soule!”
“Soap” said Draco.
Here we have Fleur 1) negotiating (you put it in water) 2) talking in French to herself, not to her audience, and 3) trying out different versions while immediately knowing those aren’t it. She knows the word! But she can get it. It happens.
Anything else?
Yes. Interferences or language transfers. This is when we get some unexpected foreign language in our own! This requires at least some familiarity with the other language because transfers mimic one language while using the second one. For example, the expression in English “no can do” (what a weird way to express a negative, isn’t it?) is mimicking Chinese grammar with English words as blocks!
Transfers manifest with words in a funny order, unexpected prepositions and such. For example, speakers of Romance languages always try to coordinate nouns and adjectives in English. “Blacks sails” rather than “black sails”.
I have more questions. Can I send you an ask?
I am not a linguistics professor, but sure.
