since the Youphoria show I was in had its reception, I thought I'd post my painting I made for it. <3 oil on cradled wood panel

This is - hopefully obviously - parody, but it's worth a moment.

When people insist that describing reality accurately is some kind of bigotry and that you're an istaphobe of some variety, what they're really saying is that they and their beliefs are disconnected from the real world, and they object to the imposition of reality into their fantasy world.

It's the same thing as when Xians call you "mean" or accuse you of "hating god" for pointing out the bible's complete and obvious lack of coherence with reality.

It doesn't matter if they don't like it, if it's true.

a continued exploration of body hair and my own queer identity

look at me. listen to me. bigots and queerphobes don’t know the distinction between a trans person, a gnc cis gay person, and a cisgender heterosexual crossdresser. all of these people are just queer degenerates to them. that is why their anti-drag bills are written so vaguely as to encompass any possible mundane gender nonconformity - so they can target as many of us as possible in one ruling. and that’s why you need to stop trying to put lines between these groups in regards to ‘who’s more oppressed’ and ‘who has the right to talk about gender’ - gender nonconformity and transgenderism are punished in exactly the same way. cut one of us and the other bleeds. our fight is the same.

Blackwater Dive

2024, hand bleached and dyed denim, cotton batting and thread

inspired by blackwater photography of plankton! this was my first time layering bleach painting. All the silhouettes were painted with bleaching gel, loosely tie dyed, and then bleached again to make the highlights. I quilted the piece using my free motion foot to outline each individual animal and tacked down the rest of the quilt with small satin stitches that remind me of marine snow. I dyed bias tape to match. super happy with this one and excited to show it in a gallery setting soon!

Hello! I'm doing trad art commissions and paintings! I primarily paint clipboards as my canvases, and would appreciate the accommodation to be ADHD friendly!

Here are four of my original pieces! None are available atm, they were all gifts. I will happily recreate an image if desired!

All of you fall in my love category in terms of who I'd do a clipboard for. I love all of my friends in a way!

Here are my terms. I need a $300 order in total w a $8 clipboard fee upfront. Please give me 3 weeks before your clipboard has paint on it, and 4 before it is shipped.
