I have had this fear of not being able to breath through my nose since I was young because I was worried I would just stop breathing and die. I am aware how ridiculous it sounds and you are welcomed to laugh haha!
(@uiu-field-team-42)
Emery had odd fears that were baseless, as well. I am disinterested in laughing, I got laughed at for a concern I presented poorly, which made it sound absurd. I still hold my breath in graveyards.

Hoodoo Questions About Different Houses, and Recommended Books.
How Do You Know If You're Ready Practicing Hoodoo?
Well, Hoodoo comes from the African ancestors here in the American South. So when you're looking into what is real hoodoo, you have to look at it thou their shoes. Not the men & women who just came off the boat that is where the mistake is. Because hoodoo involved over time in the American South.
You also need to look at what was available to them at the time and was it possible for them to obtain certain things or not [example] Honey Jar. Honey jars are not hoodoo. But was it possible that they could get honey? yes it's possible.
Did They Use It? No, because even if they did stumble apon a honey hive the Masters would have taken it from them. Honey was a rich man's item. Now sugar was something that I ansestors used a lot. Sugar canes was widely available and only needed a little bit to make a lot and that was what was used in traditional sweeten jars.
How Do You Know If Someone Is A Fake Root Worker? Listen to terminology that are used. If a person calls there self a hoodoo they're fake, we really don't use the term conjure. We are Root Workers we don't use some may say Root Doctors because we prescribe the necessary prescription to help that person situation. Root Doctor isn't use especially if you treat people spiritually because you can get sued for useing the word doctor.
Where To Start In Hoodoo?
1 The Bible.
2 Learn about Southern culture and it's terminology.
What Books Would You Recommend:
1 Voodoo & hoodoo by James Haskins
2 Mules and Men Book by Zora Neale Hurston.
3 A Secret History of Memphis Hoodoo: Root Workers, Conjurers & Spirituals by Tony Kail. He is a white guy from Memphis but has real info
These books don't give out many or if any workings, but it does talk about Southern culture and hoodoo. These books will help you get a good understanding on traditional hoodoo and that's important to know, to understand real Hoodoo.
Are There Different Traditions in Different Hoodoo Families.
Yes, there is. [Example] Lets say that a person need a working done and went to a area that has a lot of traditional real root workers and you decide to stop at each one of them with the same situation. Each one of them is going to give you a different solution on how to take care of it.
But! there going to be similarities in each of their workings. (Just like I mentioned in my last post about religions how some of the different types of certain things that are different.) (See post) It's the same for some root workers.
Some root workers work primarily with Spirits only. Some workers work with roots and herbs more than anything else. Other root workers may only use oils and powders and candles. Another might only work with what they find in nature and the other might just work with incense and prayer only.. But the working itself will have similarities each family workings will be similar to each other.

15 questions for 15 friends

Are you named after anyone? I have the same middle name as my grandfather and my father. My first born son also has that same middle name.
Do you have kids? Yes, two amazing boys, both adults now.
When was the last time you cried? Tears of joy while looking at pictures of my grandson. He is my first grandchild, not yet six months old.
What sports do you play/have you played? I played basketball on school teams during elementary school and junior high. Continued to play among friends and then co-workers for a while, too, after college.
Do you use sarcasm? Yes I do.
What is the first thing you notice about people? If conversing with someone I notice what kind of personality they have and how they treat others. Physically I notice their eyes and smile first.
What’s your eye color? Brown towards the middle surrounded by Grey
Scary movies or happy endings? Scary Happiness.
Any talents? Some people seem to think my writing is good. I know my way around a kitchen well enough to make some killer Spaghetti and Meatballs, good lasagna and some pretty tasty cookies.
Where were you born? Almost Heaven, West Virginia.
What are your hobbies? I'm a music nerd. I also enjoy writing poetry, being outdoors, playing games, reading, history, old airplanes, sports, scenic places, odd places off the beaten path, museums, historic locations, cooking, baking, eating, good shows, movies and I am fascinated by various living things that are not human.
Do you have any pets? I do not at the moment, but I have had cats and look forward to having a furry friend again in the future.
How tall are you? About 6 foot tall (182cm)
Favorite subject in school: Ancient History
Dream job: Being a writer or doing something in the music industry.
Instead of tagging anybody I'm just going to say it would be nice to see some other people's answers, but only if they have the time and want to do it. Tag me back so I can see what you wrote, if you do it. Thanks and have a great day!

rereading 52 pickup hits different after rereading crazy eights. the whole bit of remy wanting anna to live desperately and being afraid of if something happens to her he won’t be there to say goodbye because of what happened before and then in crazy eights, anna making sure she says goodbye to him despite wisdom saying no and remy doing everything to go to her ITS ALL JUST SO
😭
I LOVE that you're going back to 52PU to compare with C8's!
In C8's, Anna has really come a long way in learning to love and be loved by Remy... The real story is her learning to love and accept herself. And Remy coming to terms with that. I think her lack of love for herself frustrates him, because he finds her so easy to love himself. 💘

HELLO. IT IS A-49. THIS IS A QUESTION FOR JULIE.
OUT OF ALL THE ANGELS YOU DEALT WITH SO FAR, WHICH ONE FASCINATES YOU THE MOST?
I'd probably have to say Leliel, because it's basically a Black Hole and that's pretty fascinating if you ask me.

i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping

/> I think loving is about learning. A research into the habits, likes, and dislikes of a partner. Until you understand them completely. To know how they must be feeling even when apart. /> I am only an android of course. I could be wrong in my hypothesis.
Well, I don't want him to know that much. Then he'd feel bad if I miss him or something. I don't know, everything says it's supposed to be easy, though. He says that because it's easy, that's how he knows we're good.
Learning is a way to express fondness, though. I don't know. I guess I never learned much about what love is at any point in my 88 years of being extant.

is that piece of media actually bad, or is it just not following the blueprint you projected onto it? is that work actually not good, or are you just demanding something from it that is absolutely antithetical to its themes, genre, tone, and narrative goal? is that story actually poorly written, or do you just dislike that it is not the specific things you wanted from it that it never set out to be, never was, and never is going to become? is it actually bad, or is it actually well-executed and you just dislike the story it chose to be because it isn't catering to your specific desires and expectations?
