The Beachcombers was a 19 season long show, spanning from 1972 to 1990. Many people grew up with the show, but similar to many other CBC based projects and shows, it was lost due to poor care and treatment. This CBC-based loss disrespects Jackson Davies, Shirley Milliner, Reg Romero, Bruno Gerussi, Brent Carver, and Michael J. Fox, similar to their loss of Leo & Me (1976) and Witch of Westminster Crossing (1977) just to name more of their faults. The show was a gem for Canadian history and it was by far the longest running Canadian show. Many people loved the series, but are now unable to watch it due to the CBC's lack of care for the show. Many of the actors whom were in the show have since passed away or have gotten fairly ill, which adds much more salt to the wound. The CBC is ruining legacies and will not stop unless we make them. Sign this petition today to show that you care, both to the world and to the CBC. Sign for change, sign to help, sign for respect. Sign for whatever good cause you want to contribute to. We need help. We need it soon. Media-destroying events happen all the time, especially in Canada, such as wildfires and other catastrophic disasters. oooooooh boy. Kalim would be another Twisted character that I feel would have an EXPANSIVE music taste, especially since he's in the pop music card/team/club thingy whatever it is BUT Y'ALL KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. Growing up in the Land of the Scalding Sands (which is so obviously a nation inspired by the Arabian peninsula and North Africa I mean come on yall.) I feel like the earliest music he'd be exposed to (and would honestly stick to) would obviously be regional music, popular artists like Fairuz, Nancy Ajram, etc. Honestly, arabic music/english-language arabic inspired pop would be his go to's but I also feel like he'd thoroughly enjoy world music too. Anything you can dance to, really. From Sean Paul to Carly Rae Jepsen, he wouldn't really have a problem if someone else was handed the aux. Unless you play like.. death metal. I can't really see him liking that.

jamil was kalim's servant for pretty much the entirety of his formative years, so i feel like similar to him, he'd obviously have some arabic pop on his playlists, maybe play it in the background while he's washing dishes or something. but he wouldn't be pop/dance music's #1 fan (he'd like to dance but not to something like really mainstream pop). Here are my sweethearts Eden and Brent (the photo is from their album, so its couple years old):

They met when they were twelve. Brent and his mom moved in into an appartment nearby. Brent got a crush almost immediatly and was always shy, if it wasnt for the parents - these 2 might not have ever talked to each other properly lol

Brent mother died when he just started highschool and Edens fathers decided to take him in, since he was alr a part of the family.

Eden and Brent became a couple in high school. Unfortunatly, they both had to drop out and start working soon enough, since they weren't rlly all that careful and Eden got pregnant with twins.

They now have 5 kids: Rae and Noah (oldest twins), Lyra (middle child, name was inspired (or just straight up stolen lol) by @lyralow), Luis and Nate (youngest twins, names were inspired by 'One of us is Lying' series). They HOPEFULLY won't have more children.

Eden got her high school diploma online and now works as a flourist, tho she is looking at other opportunities too. Brent is working two jobs: athlete and manuel labrorer. They recently moved to a house in Windenburg.

I made a playlist of all my favourite music that came out in 2022. Do you understand that Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, fka twigs, Tove Lo, Taylor Swift, Tegan and Sara, Carly Rae Jepson, Bad Bunny, Lizzo, Charli XCX, Maggie Rogers, Harry Styles, Rosalia, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and my fave, WILLOW, ALL had new albums out this year? That blows my mind. And they're all quite good? I had trouble picking my favourite songs off of these albums, mostly I just chose a random one, or the most popular one because they're all good songs, Brent.
