The original Wade Preston Band plays Forgive Yourself for the first time in over two decades, and dare I say, I think we sound pretty good! @christopellani on drums and #JohnMeadows on bass. The #710BeachClub in #PacificBeach CA used to be called #BlindMelons and it was one of the main places I played throughout the early 90’s, solo and with the band. Crazy days, those were. Brennan Draig

Brennan is an ancient silver dragon. He prefers to stay in his human form unless otherwise provoked. Brennan is a master swordsman who has won many duels in his long life, and as a result, has quite a hoard of treasure. He prefers dusk or near twilight.

a pirate who is a merperson in disguise enters into an uneasy truce with the winged pirate hunter who has been trying to capture them for years. their goal is to venture into the lost sea, a magical, warped place where the end of the world began ten years ago, to search for their lost memories - only to find out they aren’t the only one interested in their mysterious past.

Thanks again for the tag. I've been working on a piece today, showcasing the background on how silver dragons in my universe impress their mates. As of writing this, it is untitled.

Nothing here will capture her eye, Brennan pondered. He glided his fingers over the cream-colored mother of pearl medallions on the base of a golden chalice.

Once upon a time, the goblet would have been something that he would have purchased for himself. It would have fit nicely within his treasure room, the massive chamber within the walls of Adwen ferch Afan Keep. Alas, his intended would not like this particular trinket.

Choosing a mate was a very serious affair for Brennan. When one lived as long as he, choosing a life mate was not something that an individual thought about lightly.

Flight of the Dragons

My last line is about setting the upcoming scene taking place in Siollán, the sleepy village that Alystin Torrath and her foster parents now reside in. The raid mentioned below is my opening chapter for the novel.

It had been almost two decades since the last raid from Glorendt, the same raid that toppled a city on an island in the middle of a lake further north.

new to writeblr!!!

hello, everyone! i made this blog a few weeks ago but never posted much. i want to get back into writing so i thought i'd introduce myself here!!

i'm rain, 26, a transmasc a-spec aspiring writer. i love writing fantasy with lots of queer characters and weird worlds. i also enjoy writing interactive fiction games and you can check them out on my other blog, @raindev. i've got a short game out and another, longer one in the works!

for regular fiction, i have two wips right now: #merpirate, a story about a merperson (who is, obviously, also a pirate) trying to recover their memories after losing them thanks to an apocalyptic event caused by the gods of mischief, and #antisnowwhite, a - you guessed it - queer snow white retelling where snow white was raised by wolves in a very sentient, creepy forest, and now wants revenge against the queen. i made a page with more info - you can check it here.

i write mostly about masc-leaning nonbinary characters in romantic and/or queerplatonic relationships with other masc-leaning nonbinary characters. i also love elves, faeries, witches, old gods and forest spirits!
